After sometime had passed, things were settling in though things seemed to get crazier and crazier in the Autobots new home city. They had already had several dangerous missions, each with help from the mystery bot, though the bot never stayed long enough for them to get to know the bot at all. The Autobots moved into their above water base thanks to help from their human friend, Sari. The place was run down, but they figured it would be the last place someone would look to find the bots. And so that suited them well.
Each and every time the squad of five went out to rescue the humans from another human, from an invention run amok, or a Decepticon, the Mystery bot seemed to show up and assist. He moved fast, though he didn't quite disappear as smoothly as he used to. Though that didn't matter, for once the mission was complete, the bot was gone again. Optimus, though not normally this distracted, couldn't help but think about the bot. The Prime's processor would drift back to the strange bot often and it took a good deal of work for the Prime to focus elsewhere at times.
This was one of those times that Optimus needed to distraction to re-focus and so their female human friend Sari offered to take the bots to an expo that showed some of earth's past. Optimus figured that this was just what he needed – something to take his focus off of the mystery bot and back on their mission to help the humans and such. Optimus called all the bots on his team and they headed over to the expo with Sari so that they could better understand their new home.
Upon arriving at the Dino drive, while the other four easily made their way in, Bulkhead couldn't help but smash into every car that happened to be in his path, leaving chaos in his wake as he sometimes did due to his size. Bee made a snarky comment and then the five headed into the drive. They all hoped Bulkhead would be better once inside.
Meanwhile, unseen by the others, Lancex was watching over the little band of five bots. Lancex wasn't exactly sure why, but something about the blue and red bot drew the sword man's attention. Lancex tried to push the strange feeling away but it only seemed to grow stronger the more he was exposed to the young leader. But for now, uncertain of if he should reveal himself, Lancex held back. He had no idea the surprise all of them would be in for soon.
