3 months later

Mr. Popo looked on with a smile, he had his arms crossed behind his back observing a small boy meditate

"Focus, don't think, stay calm" He said to the boy. Even after those words the small figure slowly stood up with a frown.

"I just can't do it damn it"

The boy had blonde short spiky hair going in all directions, he had three whiskers like birth marks on his cheeks each and azure blue eyes. He had a simple blue T-shirt over which he had an unzziped orange jacket (Imagine kid Naruto's jacket), baggy orange pants and blue sandals. It was none other then Naruto Uzumaki who had been training on the lookout for 3 months in preparation of the Saiyans. He had actually changed over those months in terms of power as his personality was still practicly the same. His power skyrocketed to a whole new level, right now however he was training with Mr. Popo to channel his KI better. Of course Naruto quickly found out that KI was chakra and chakra was KI.

"Your progress is amazing as in only three monts you were able to understand your KI better and control it to an impressinve amount" Mr. Popo praised him before looking to the right and smiled. Naruto also looked in that direction and found Yamcha going towards them with a smile. Naruto smiled back as he in those three months had become friends with those who also train on the lookout.

"Hey Yamcha!" Naruto greeted with a small weave of his hand.

"Hey Naruto I see you got stronger again"

Naruto rubbed the back of his head and chuckled.

"Of course training really helps"

Yamcha still with a smile but with a little more searious expression asked "Well I have been meaning to ask you since in a few days me and the rest are going to train under the lookout, also we had never done this so I ask you for a spar"

Naruto blinked a couple of times. It was true Yamcha and the rest of the warriors are going to train around the world for theese last three months, so this maybe their last meeting before going. What suprised Naruto even more was the simple fact that Yamcha wanted to spar, they had never spared before.

"You want to spar here?" The blond boy asked with a smile on his face

"Of course, I want to see how much have you grown and how much have I grown" Yamcha told him before getting into his signutare wolf fang fist stance. When Naruto saw this he also got into a fighting stance, he was almost crouching ready to pounce at his opponent. Seeing this Mr. Popo backed away and decided to watch the fight.

"You ready Naruto?"

"I was born ready, believe It!"

With those words both of them rushed at each. Yamcha striked first with his wolf fang fist, but Naruto dodged or parried the flurry of attacks.

"Dodging won't save you!" Yamcha said with a smirk before leting out a kick at Naruto's head. Seeing the kick Naruto quickly jumped back, before rushing at his opponent. Yamcha was now wide open and wasn't ready for a punch to the face sending him back.

Naruto didn't let up as he jumped at Yamcha an was about to axe kick him. Seeing the axe kick Yamcha quickly jump back to avoid the attack. The blond crashed into the ground not hitting his opponent.

"Damn it you are fast" Naruto said while smirking enjoying their fight.

Yamcha smirked back "You're not bad either"

Naruto smirked and crossed his fingers in a familiar sign and yelled out

"Shadow Clone Jutsu" As dozen of Naruto clones surrounded Yamcha in a circle, he stood there with a smirk before charging at the clones destroying them with ease. While punching and kicking the clones, It was as if he danced and destroyed every single one of them. Yamcha punched the last Naruto who also turned into a puff of smoke, he looked around before he sensed something from above. Looking up he was shocked when he recive a kick to the side of the head sending him flying.

As Naruto landed he looked at Yamcha and with a grin created three more clones. Only two clones charged towards Yamcha as the last stayed back with the original. When the two clones maked their way to Yamcha both of them sent out punches, but with a simple kick he disspeled the first one before elbowing the second one. Looking up he saw Naruto with a spiriling ball of energy his eyes slightly widen as the blonde charged him. He quickly cupped his hands behind his back and started to chant

"Ka...Me...Ha...Me...HA!" With these word Yamcha used the Kamehameha and fired it at Naruto who couldn't avoid the attack so he shielded himself with his Rasengan putting it infront of himself.

The two attacks clashed with eachother battling for dominance. It was clear however that Naruto was starting to be pushed back, Mr. Popo watching the fight was curious how Naruto will get out of this. His curiousity turned into shock when underneath Naruto's feet a KI wave was fired which sent him to the sky avoiding the Kamehameha attack.

The blond boy now in air looked at his right hand, smoke coming of it before clenching his fist and falling to the ground. Yamcha narrowed his eyes and spoke

"Nice dodge but next time you won't be so lucky"

Naruto finaly looked at Yamcha and smirked "Don't worry there won't be next time" before he created two more clones and charged with them. Yamcha was focused now he had to be, dodging the first punch to the side and ducking the second one he blocked a kick to his chin with his arms. The assault continoe with Yamcha dodging every single one of the attacks, bu he wasn't perfect so finaly he was hit on the side with a kick, stumbling back he was punched in the face by a clone before getting kicked in the stomache by the second clone and finaly the last Naruto grabbed his arm and threw him on the ground before picking him up and spinning throwing him further. Yamcha slowly got up panting.

"You caught me off guard but now it's time for my final move!" Yamcha yelled and with his left arm holded his right one, before a yellow ball was formed. He quickly thrown the ball and yelled

"Spirit Ball!"

As the ball got near them all Naruto's quickly dodge it, but their victory was short lived when the Spirit Ball came back and turned one of the clones into smoke, the second clone also quickly being destroyed, leaving only the original Naruto.

"Oh crap" Naruto muttered before running away from the Spirit Ball, it following closely after him. After two minutes of running away from the attack Naruto quickly got tired and it hittet Naruto on the chin going up before going right at him again, but this time Naruto was too tired to run away so he didn't know what to do. As he was panicking he remember Mr. Popo's lessons and calmed down before an idea came to his head. Creating a shadow clone beside himself Naruto quickly got ready for the oncoming attack. As the Spirit Ball whirl around to attack once more, Naruto simply catched it, but it wasn't so simple. When the Spirit Ball impacted his arm it felt like he had caught a fitr tornado, as It was hot, either way the clone quickly focused on whirling the Spirit Ball. Yamcha and Mr. Popo watched in shock and amazment as Naruto quickly turned the Spirit Ball into a...Rasengan? No it wasn't a Rasengan as instead of Blue the technique was yellow it was still swirling but It wasn't blue anymore.

Naruto chuckled and looked at his palm "This is incredible It's not a Rasenagan...I'll call this the Spirit Rasengan a combination of the Spirit Ball and the Rasengan"

Before anyone could respond, with all his might Naruto threw It at Yamcha. Seeing the ball coming towards him Yamcha jumped into the air, flying dodgin the attack and smirked at Naruto. In return Naruto smirked back.

"Did you forget what your technique can do?"

As the words were spoken Yamcha's eyes widen before the Spirit Rasengan quickly turn back and hit Yamcha's back. As he screamed in pain and fell on the gorund, Naruto also fell to the ground, he was very tired.

Yamcha slowly got on his feet and before anything was said Kami came in and stopped the fight.

"You two did enough"

As Naruto sat there on the ground he smiled at Yamcha

"You won this time"

Yamcha smiled back

"Yeah this time, but I am curious how did you combine our moves?"

The blond boy blink and said with a foxy grin

"Since the techniques are identical I just used my clone to make a Rasenga, I didn't know if It would actually work"

Everyone there was suprised before Kami cleared his throat

"Well young Naruto this was definetly intresting, you will have to master this technique"

"Of course Old man!"

At that Kami twitched and sigh, he couldn't get even little maners into the boy but non the less smiled.

Three days later

"Today you end your training on the lookout and go into the world, continoe your training and remember what we are fighting for!" Kami said to Yamcha, Krilin, Tien, Chiatzou and Yajirobe. Naruto watched and waved to them good bye as he has to stay here longer to master his KI control and to learn some new techniques. The people waved back and quickly jumped out of the lookout, Kami turned to Naruto who seemed to be thinking of something.
"What is it Naruto?"

Hearing the voice he quickly turned his attention to Kami and said

"Well I was thinking ever since my spar with Yamcha that I don't have any long range options so I am only really a close fighter, while I am training in usage of the Spirit Rasengan I think that something else would also be nice for the time being"

Kami had to ponder the question for a full minute before an idea came into his head

"Naruto you are right you need something and we have that something, Mr. Popo retract the conector to earth and the lookout"

Hearing those words Mr. Popo jumped ot of the lookout, as Naruto was confused why he jumped his confusion didn't stop when Mr. Popo got back up with an orange stick.

Blinking a couple of times Naruto said to kami confused "What is a stick going to help me with?"

Kami chuckled and gifted boy the "stick" "Well try it yourself"

Still confused Naruto quickly did a few swings and he admited that the "stick" was nice to hold, after a few test swings he was about to turn to the old man when suddenly-

*wsoosh*
The boy was shocked as the "stick" extended.

"whoa" He said as the weopon returned to it's normal size. Kami chuckled and said

"It's the Power Poll by saying "Extand" It will extand and by saying "Return" It will return to It's normal size or even smaller"

Naruto looked dumbfounded before giving his new weopon a foxy smile

"I like It, It's what I needed"

"Well now you need something to hold it in" Kami told the boy before using Clothes Beam and gave Naruto a sheeth on his waist which was smaller then a weopon.

"ummm..Old man I think it's a little too small" Kami had to face palm and explain to the boy

"Naruto just make it smaller..."

At that Naruto gave a small "owwww" and maked the Power Poll smaller before putting it in the sheeth.

"Now Naruto since you already trained in basic's, let the real training begin"
