Welcome back to A Song of Spiders and Dragons. Last time, Vulture and Electro teamed up to try and take the trio of Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man down. But with bit of teamwork and perseverance, the trio overwhelmed the duo, sending a third of the Sinister Six into police custody already. At that point, Doctor Octopus called in trying to figure out what's happening. The trio informed him that Electro and Vulture were done and tried to get Doctor Octavius back out of Doctor Octopus, but it didn't work. So, what awaits now? Read on to discover...

(Our scene picks up on a nearby rooftop where Spyro has landed after flying off from the scene of Electro and Vulture's defeats, followed closely by Cynder and Spider-Man, and all three of them appear to be exhausted from everything that just happened)

Spider-Man: (Collapsing against a wall) I hate it when they team up.

Spyro: That goes for all of us I think.

Cynder: I think after all that, we've earned a breather.

Spider-Man: Good idea, Cynder.

Spyro: Yeah... (Laying down already) A few minutes to rest should do us some good.

(But of course a few minutes never stays a few minutes, as the trio soon falls asleep, exhausted from everything that's just happened. And before they know it, the morning comes and then fades into a gray and cloudy afternoon as everybody finally wakes up)

Spider-Man: What time is it?

Cynder: (Seeing the change in the sky) How long were we out?

Spyro: No idea. But that's probably the best rest I've had in a long time.

Spider-Man: Well, now that we're rested, we'd best get back to work.

Cynder: Agreed. The remaining four villains aren't going to take themselves down.

Spider-Man: First thing's first, better update Yuri.

(With that plan of action made, Spider-Man dials Yuri, with the call being heard by all three)

Spider-Man: Yuri. Good news, Vulture and Electro are down, four to go.

Yuri: Heard about it. Along with an explosion on a Times Square rooftop. Would you three know anything about that by chance?

Spyro: Nothing gets by you. It was Octavius' staging ground.

Cynder: He's using the villains to take down Oscorp piece by piece. Vulture and Electro were working power plants, Scorpion's going after water treatment, and Rhino's doing something on the shoreline. No real idea what that's about yet.

Yuri: It's better than we've had before. I'm assuming Scorpion's the next target?

Spyro: Bingo. NYC's already on the brink, if clean water's lost it'll never come back.

Spider-Man: We'll update you when we make some progress.

Yuri: Good to know. (Hangs up)

Spyro: Wait, why didn't we tell her about Martin Li and the Devil's Breath Antiserum?

Spider-Man: Honestly, good question.

Cynder: Yuri's police force is being run ragged as it is. The last thing we need is to panic the world about that. Besides, it's not like we'd be able to give much useful information on that since we have no idea where it is the antiserum is being made.

Spyro: (Realizing how that makes sense) And besides, if Sable intercepts our chatter, they'll think we're after the antiserum.

Spider-Man: Besides, we've got our team on it. Once we know something, we'll make everything plain. That or end up stopping it ourselves.

Cynder: Don't jinx us, Pete.

Spyro: We'd better get moving. It's a long way to the Central Park reservoir from here. And we kind of needed to be on the webs like yesterday.

Spider-Man: You got that right.

Cynder: Then let's get on the move.

(And with that deliberation concluded, Spyro and Cynder take to their wings and Spider-Man to his webs and the trio flies off towards Central Park, hoping beyond hope that they can arrive in time and stop whatever Scorpion has planned, as our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to end for today. So, a bit of an update to the team's police allies, despite not telling them everything. To be honest, I don't actually know why Spider-Man in the game didn't tell Yuri about Martin Li going after the DB Antiserum. So I ended up making up a reason that I thought made some degree of sense in the game's logic. Anyways, next time, we catch up with Scorpion at the reservoir. Will our heroes arrive in time?
