"Uzumaki Naruto!"

"CHOP." Naruto deadpanned as he chopped a challenger on the forehead. He yawned as the knocked out challenger collapsed to the floor right next to the Newspaper club room. He grabbed him by the collar and moved him out of the way so that he could open the door to the club, and he found the other members all waiting for him.

Also Mizore had joined the club.

She was sitting underneath the table and working with them.

"... and the ghost member appears." Gin complained, since even he was working. Naruto was the only one who didn't really do anything for the newspaper. All he did was sleep during club activities, or walk around the school, and then tell the other members stuff he saw. He didn't really investigate anything. 'Though... I guess he serves as a deterrant for that guy, so Naruto is protection.' Gin sighed.

It was annoying.

"Are club activities almost done for the day... I found this really cool rock out in the forest when I was digging a hole, it looks just like a super realistic face." Naruto reported, but that was about it. He wanted to show Moka the rock he found, since creepy stuff like that was right up her alley. Naruto sat down next to Kurumu, and he looked at what she was working on. She was doing a "fashion of the human world" story.

It was silent for a bit as everyone just worked on the newspapert articles they were writing, while Naruto balanced a pen on his upper lip.

"So..." Tsukune started awkwardly.

He needed to break the awkward silence.

"Hmmmmm... we have a blank space here. Maybe one of us can expand an article... or maybe we can add a new article." Moka looked at the layout of the magazine. It was hard to say what the better option would be. "The PE Teacher went missing, we can put a statement about that here maybe?" Moka asked Gin.

"Heh, missing." Naruto chuckled to himself.

That drew some attention, but nobody batted at eyelash at Naruto being a bit weird. Mizore blinked a few times underneath the table.

'Did Naruto kill him?' Mizore knew the truth, but she kept it silent. She was very sure Naruto would get in trouble for killing a teacher, even one who molested students. Also, she didn't feel sad that the teacher who tried to molest her had gotten himself killed.

There was a knock on the door.

Gin was alarmed when Kuoh entered the room with one of his lackies carrying a box behind him. Naruto raised an eyebrow, but the box was dropped into his lap.

"A gift, for your continued good health. I just wanted to check to see how you are doing." Kuoh looked at the necklace hanging from Naruto's neck. He narrowed his eyes as he looked deep into the crystal, and Gin raised an eyebrow, but remained completely still and silent as his eyes looked between Kuoh and Naruto's necklace. "Pokemon Card packs, since you enjoyed the Yugioh cards with the Ice woman." Kuoh sighed.

Of all the members of this club, the only ones worth Naruto's time were (ironically) Gin and Moka, the Werewolf and the Vampire. A Succubus was only a B-class Monster, a Warlock and a Witch were barely even classified as monsters at all, and a Yuki-Onna was a B-class monster as well. Even in his human state as he was, anything less than an A class monster wouldn't be worth Naruto's time at all.

"Oh, thanks, I was bored today, opening these will be fun. Thanks Kuoh!" Naruto reached up and pat the man on the shoulder.

Kuoh tried and failed to stop the cocky smile that came over his face, and he smirked mockingly at Moka, who had no idea why he was smirking.

'See, I am clearly his real ally.' Kuoh thought.

'Glad to see Naruto getting along with others, but this guy gives off a really nasty aura.' Moka's hand went to her rosary when she felt it giving off a message to her to avoid this guy. His smirk changed his aura from 'friendly' to enemy. He turned and left the room though, and Naruto just went to opening card packs. When the door closed, Tsukune started to breath again.

"That guy is terrifying." Tsukune had felt fear the entire time Kuoh was in the room.

"Handsome though." Kurumu noted, but she did agree with everyone that the guy was evil, and Naruto not being able to see it was funny in an ironic way. "You like that kind of stuff?" Kurumu looked at Naruto with a happy smile, opening card packs.

"Not really that much, but for some reason, I've been giddy the last few days. It doesn't take much to make me happy right now. Hey Tsukune, want to see if we can't take a guy's night trip to the human world, keep it a secret from the school?" Naruto asked.

"Can I go?" Yukari raised her hand.

"Do you have a penis?" Naruto questioned her.

"I can make a magic drug to switch my gender if you give me a couple of weeks." Yukari just wanted to go to guy's night. She looked at Moka, who was pink in the face as she held back her own question on if she could come as well.

"What about me?" Gin asked.

"I don't like you that much, guys night with you sounds like it would end with you peeping on girls. Guys night needs to be about the bros, not about girls." Naruto wrapped an arm around Tsukune. It was also against school rules to go to the human realm without teacher supervision, but Naruto was reasonably sure that he could manage to not get caught. "Also, I have another reason for making it about Tsukune..." Naruto nudged him.

"Uh... what?"

"Your birthday is coming up idiot. I figured we could take you out-"

"Your birthday is coming up!?" Many others shouted at Tsukune. Nobody even knew about what day he was born, and suddenly his birthday was coming up, and none of them had much time to prepare a gift for him. Naruto leaned back in his chair and allowed everyone to question Tsukune over stuff he wanted for his birthday.

-Later that Night-

"So..."

"You and me are going to go and get you a gun when we go to the human realm. It won't be super useful against powerful monsters like Vampires who have healing powers, but against weaker monsters, a bullet to the head will leave you protected." Naruto stated with a grin. That was why he wanted to take Tsukune to the human realm, because there was no way to get a good weapon for a weak guy like Tsukune at the academy.

"A gun!?"

"Shush idiot, it's an emergency weapon... in case anyone figures out you're lying about being a warlock." Naruto covered Tsukune's mouth, when like a dumbass, he shouted out the gun part. "I know a guy who can get you a small firearm. Consider it a birthday gift from me."

"Why do you know a guy that deals in guns?" Tsukune hiss whispered at Naruto.

"Well, I'm not friends with him, but he tried to shoot me and I broke his legs and let him live, on the condition that he owes me a favor. He was an assassin after my life."

"What kind of life did you live before coming to school here?" Tsukune whispered in horror at the admission that Naruto had assassins after his life in the past. No wonder he was so strong, he had to get strong just to survive. Also, it was less of a wonder on why monsters didn't bother him very much. "Also... why not just let me run away... wouldn't that be way safer?" Tsukune changed the subject.

He kind of didn't want the answer.

"Don't you have friends here who would be sad if you disappeared?" Naruto asked in response.

...

Ouch.

"... Yeah." Tsukune suddenly felt very selfish, and it made him feel horrible about how he had only thought of himself there. He did have friends at the school now, and he had a good cover story to protect him. He sighed, and the guilt inside of him was heavy on his stomach.

"Still, you are risking your life, so nobody would blame you for running away. If you do run away, I'll just tell all the girls you were actually a human, and give them your phone number so they can talk to you. I'm sure they'll understand." Naruto wouldn't be personally upset no matter what choice that Tsukune made. If he wanted to protect his life and flee, or risk his life and stay, would be completely his choice.

"Why would you tell them!?"

"Because they deserve to know why their friend ran away from school." Naruto deadpanned right back.

...

"Yeah, you're right."

"I think you should tell them the truth anyway at some point, but I'll leave that to you, when you feel comfortable." Naruto added, when Tsukune lacked an arguments against his statement. "By the way, my birthday is October 10th." Naruto added.

"Uh?"

"Just making conversation."

It was a little awkward after that.
