Chapter 3: Liko's Missing Pendant

Note: This chapter will contain a backstory about Liko before she was a villain that will be wholesome and sad and will probably lead you into tears. The present day will have some hilarious moments however as Liko is on a very important mission to get her pendant back. Have fun reading.

Backstory Of Liko. 7 months ago. This is the backstory of how Liko started her villain arc.

Liko and her mother, Lucca are at the Naranja Academy library, searching for any evidence since the place was attacked by the Ruinous Legends of Paldea. Liko found a tape recorder. She played it.

Liko. This is Diana, your grandmother. I regret to inform you that you should not help fight against The Explorers. They... they have beaten us.

Liko can hear tears coming from her grandmother on the tape recorder.

Amethio and Spinel hunted me down. They found our house!!! Honestly, how can I involve you in such a horrible mission like this. Im so sorry! I'm at Area Zero right now with Sada and Turo. They have Koriadon and Miraidon helping us battle against Gibeon, the leader of the Explorers and his Shiny Zygarde.

Liko covers her mouth with her hands. She leaks tears from her eyes. She's devastated.

I hope you can forgive me for all of this. The Ruinous Legends, they— they... *sniffles* they lured us here.

An alarm can be heard from the tape.

Something is happening... SOMETHING IS HAPP—!!!

Lucca sees Liko crying in tears. "Sweetie. I'm so sorry..."

Liko wipes away her tears and starts getting angry. "Why? WHY NOT TELL ME??!! I WAS HELPING, WASN'T I?! WAS IT BECAUSE I KEPT LOSING IN POKÉMON BATTLES?! Because I'm sorry!!!!"

Lucca felt so heartbroken for her daughter. Liko was so traumatized and devastated to calm down. "Liko... look. I'll explain everything. It wasn't your fault. Pokémon battles can be tough. But that doesn't mean they we're your faul. Your grandmother... Diana... is missing. She's not dead. Pray to Arceus I hope she isn't! But..." She sighs. "It was my fault. I went to go help your grandmother while you were helping us investigate the Ruinous Legends Pokémon at Sada and Turo's lab. I was at her house. We argued. She tried to find out The Explorers weakness, but I wanted this Rakurium nightmare to be put to an end. We screamed at each other and then... Gibeon's Shiny Zygarde attacked."

Liko had no words at all. She didn't know what to say. Lucca kept explaining the story to Liko. "And ever since then... that's what led us here. Listen to me. If I don't make it, my friends, the Rising Volt Tacklers, will be taking care of you. Don't worry, I'll live. I promise. It's just—"

The Ruinous Legends, Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu jump down from above and land. They are ready to attack.

Lucca looks back at Liko and says her final words to her.

"Liko, my daughter. I'm so proud of you. Keep trying your best and don't ever give up. Just keep going."

"I can't just leave you here...", Liko says in a shaky voice.

"Go! It's to dangerous! The Rising Volt Tacklers should be hear soon. Good luck, okay."

"Okay...", Liko does what her mother says and runs away in tears.

Lucca looks back at the Ruinous Legends and prepares to Pokémon battle them. Liko runs outside and sees an airship landing near her. "Hurry! We don't have anytime!", said a voice. Liko runs inside the airship. The airship then takes off. While sitting in a passenger seat. Liko looks outside. An explosion erupted from the Naranja Academy building. Fire and smoke was seen through the entrance. Liko starts balling her eyes out in lots of tears. A person walks over to her. He is basically the pilot of the airship. He hasn't seen a child go through so much at a young age. "Hey, kiddo... uhm... Are you okay...?"

Liko looks up at the pilot guy. She was starting to have serious questions. "Is my grandmother, alive...?"

"Kid..."

"YES OR NO?!"

The pilot guy was hesitant at first to tell the truth, but he just got it out of his system anyway. "No... not really... your mother... she... must've not known either... it was reported on the news. I'm so sorry."

Liko wanted to let out her emotions so badly, but what she did instead was hug the pilot guy. He also gives Liko a hug. "I'm so sorry, kiddo..." The pilot guy decided to cheer her up. "Tell you what, that explosion from that building your mother was in, SHE definitely survived that! She's a tough cookie! Why don't we find her?"

Liko nodded her head after wiping away her tears. "Yeah. Thank you."

The pilot guy smiled. "My name is Friede by the way. And me and the Rising Volt Tacklers are part of your family sort of. And will take good care of you until we find out anything about your mom."

"Thanks, Friede. Uhm... I'm going to get some rest now."

"Sounds good.", said Friede.

Liko wonders the halls in the airship, trying to find a room. There were multiple doors for each room.

"Hey there! Need help!"

Liko turned around and see two new guests. "I'm Orla and this is Murdock."

Murdock waves his hand saying, "Hi!"

"Hello. Nice to meet you two. I'm Liko... Uhm. I need help finding a room to get some sleep."

"Sure thing.", said Orla. "It's that first door into a room over there."

"Thank you. And goodnight.", said Liko.

"Goodnight Liko. See you in the morning.", said Murdock.

Liko walks into the room. Orla and Murdock feel terrible that Liko had a horrible night. "Poor child. She's really sad. I hope her mother's okay.", said Orla, feeling saddened.

"Not only that, but her grandmother is gone.", Murdock added. "We are really sorry for her loss."

"Perhaps we don't think about it.", Orla replied. "Let's give her some space for tonight. She needs it." Both Orla and Murdock walk away from the hallway.

2 months later (5 months ago) is the beginning of how Liko met Roy and Dot.

Liko was just minding her own business, finding some apples and other fruits as snacks for her and the Rising Volt Tacklers when suddenly, a swarm of Beedrills and Vespiquens fly toward her. "Gah! Darn bees! Leave me alone!" But they didn't listen to Liko. She ran with the basket of fruits and started calling for help. "Help! Help! I'm being swarmed! Aaahh!!! Help!"

"Quaxly! Use Water Gun!", said a voice. A Quaxly springs into action and sprays Water Guns at the army of Beedrill, causing them to flee. "Fuecoco! Temper Flare!", another voice said. Fuecoco jumps out of nowhere too and ignites its Temper Flare at the army of Vespiquen. Do to them being Bug Types the Vespiquen swarms have fainted since Temper Flare is a Fire Type as a super effective attack.

Liko was confused but also relieved. "Quaxly? Fuecoco? Where did you two come from?"

Two kids run up to Liko. "Hi! Are you okay?!", asked a boy with red hair.

"Yes. I'm fine. But who are you two?", Liko asked.

"Oh. I'm Roy! And this is Dot! She... doesn't talk much."

Dot looked like a shy individual. "Of course I do... I... just get shy sometimes...", said Dot who was nervous.

"I've been there", Liko commented.

"Yeah. But... the names Dot. And I'm actually one of the popular live streaming celebrities. I'm the legendary Nidothing!"

Liko's face felt blank. She was trying to figure out about the voice of who Nidothing, her idol, was. Then she starts freaking out. "OMG! Your Nidothing! The Nidothing! Eeee!!!" Liko hugs Dot. Dot was stunned with goosebumps to see Liko's reaction, but smiled since she never has been hugged by fans before. "Yep. That's me. Hehehe... don't wear it out."

Roy brings Liko and Dot in for a hug. "You know something? I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship!"

Liko never had friends before. "Yes. Friends. Totally!"

Roy was curios of Liko. "Tell me something... you don't get bullied at school, do you?"

Liko didn't know where that question was going but she was bullied however. "Yeah. I was... but that's why I'm attending Naranja Academy! Along with Blueberry Academy, which I don't know why its called "blueberry of all things."

"Really?! We're attending those Pokémon Schools too!", Dot yelled. Roy proceeds to explain his point. "Yeah. So anyway. I asked that because same thing happened to us. And we are out to show them we won't be pushed around anymore. We're seeking out Mythical and Legendary Pokémon to catch!"

Liko smirks. She likes where this was going. "Go on."

"We're going to not only use our original Pokémon, but the Mythicals and Legendaries we catch!"

"Well. What Legendary and Mythical are you two after right now?", Liko asked.

"Good question. Well. I'm after a Shiny Rayquaza right now.", said Roy.

"And I'm after Shaymin", said Dot.

Liko laughs nervously. "I don't know what I'm after yet..."

"Maybe I can help.", a voice said from the distance of the sky. It was a white pokémon with four legs and a yellow ring around its waist. It was none other than the God Of Pokémon, Arceus. Along with random Unowns flying around him.

Liko, Roy, and Dot are amazed to see the legend who created Pokémon himself. As a respect, the three kids bow down to him. "Arceus, it's an honor to meet you.", said Roy, praising him.

"You two have been seeking ways to become strong Pokémon Trainers. You three have struggled and have become weakened by the cruel. And you three have suffered the world of those people. But no more. Legendary Pokémon and Mythicals will help you be the heroes and save the world. While also teaching the evils the lesson from disrespecting your personal lives. I will bestow you the blessing gifts of your first Legendary and or Mythical Pokémon." After saying a mouthful of words, Arceus brings down the Pokémon for Roy, Liko, and Dot.

"Roy, your Shiny Rayquaza from this ancient pokéball. It is yours.", said Arceus giving Roy the ancient pokéball.

"Wow cool! This is what my grandfather talked about! Thanks, Arceus!", say Roy.

"Dot! Your Shaymin. In this Ultra Ball."

"Wow. Thanks. My Shaymin."

Arceus looks at Liko. He looks at the pendant Liko is wearing. "That pendant... your grandmother gave it to you." Liko nodded her head in response.

"I see. Take this legendary. I found him in Area Zero. He is basically the family of my Pokémon Typing. However, I do not remember about these kinds of legendaries. But the name of this species is Terapagos. The legend of Paldea. He is your Pokémon you have so rightfully. Owned. And in terms of it, that pendant chose you. Liko, you are... "The Chosen One." As Arceus gives Liko the Terapagos in an Lure Ball, Liko was suprised to be called "the chosen one."

"Thanks you Arceus."

"You are welcome, my child. You are the legend of heroes just like others after all."

"There are others?", Liko said scratching her head.

"Indeed! For example, there is one that's a hero with a legendary Pikachu."

"Wow!"

"But for now, I must go."

Liko was thinking about something. "Before you go..."

Arceus stopped before he levitated away further. He flies back down to Liko. "Yes, my child?"

Liko was thinking about what her mother said to her.

Liko, my daughter. I'm so proud of you. Keep trying your best and don't ever give up. Just keep going.

Liko grins. She has thought about what she must do. She clenches her fist while saying, "I have something in mind. I want to catch you as my Pokémon someday."

Arceus was pleased to hear that frol Liko. He was waiting for someone to catch him. "Very well! Splendid. First seek out any four Mythicals and Legendaries on your team, and you'll be worthy of catching me."

Liko nodded her head with determination. "I won't let you down! I will do this for my grandmother, my mother, the Rising Volt Tacklers, and everyone!", she said with a serious face.

"Good luck. And see you around, child.", said Arceus. He and Liko shake hands. Well, basically its a hoof to a hand since Arceus is a Pokémon. He then leaves and disappears through the clouds.

Roy was happy to see Liko so determined, same with Dot. Liko looks at both of them. "We are going to make history with this one. It's time that we become new heroes of the world. Are you two ready?!"

Roy was excited. Dot smiled with joy. "Ooohh man!!! I've been waiting for this moment!", said Roy raising his fists with excitement.

The three do hands in the middle. "Alright... ready, on three! One, two, three..."

"GO RISING VOLT TACKLERS!!!"

"YEAH! Wait... Rising Volt Tacklers", Roy said in confusion.

"Oh right. I'll explain on the way. Follow me!"

Liko starts running to head back to the airship, Roy and Dot follow her.

(Author: And that's how Liko's villain-ish arc started. Along with Dot and Roy helping her... I know, it's crazy, but those three will all come to a conclusion with a redemption arc.)

End Of Backstory.

Present Day. On a Saturday, Liko, Roy and Dot walk inside Naranja Academy to retrieve Liko's pendant.

Liko, Roy, and Dot walk up to a digital map that shows locations inside of the academy. "There it is! The lost and found room! Over there!" Liko pointed at a location of where the lost and found room.

"Alright! Let's do this!", said Roy.

The three run up stairs. Ash sees Liko and her friends running up the stairway. "Oh, I see. So that's her." Pikachu quietly says, "Pika."

"Hey Ash! What's up buddy?!", shouted Arven.

Ash sees Arven and Penny walking up to him.

"Hi, you two! I see you've also heard of me?"

"That's right.", said Arven. "I'm Arven, and this is Penny."

"A pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Ash.", Penny says.

"Yours too. I'm here to make friends, go on adventures, and become champion here. It's going to be awesome!"

Arven chuckles at Ash'a enthusiasm. "That's what I like to hear! Why don't we give you a tour around this academy. You might learn something."

Ash accepted Arven's offer. "I'd love too!"

Meanwhile with Liko and the gang. They find the lost and found room. But they see a Mimikyu roaming the halls with Liko's pendant. "My pendant! That dirty little ghost snipe!"

Roy didn't like the sound of this. Liko is very upset that Mimikyu has her pendant. The Mimikyu out of nowhere starts to speak words. It was a talking Mimimkyu who was actually talking in a ghost accent. "That's rrriiggghhttt! Iiii hhaavve yyyoouuurrr peeennddannnttt!! Ccoommee aaanddd geett iiitt!!! Ahahahaha!!!" Mimikyu runs away.

"GET BACK HERE WITH MY PENDANT YOU GHOST VERSION OF A PIKACHU REJECT!!!" After yelling that, Liko runs after Mimikyu, and Roy and Dot follow.

They run after Mimikyu through the hallway until the eventually reach a homeroom classroom.

"Oooh! Sssooo baaaddd! Yoouuu wweeerreee rrruunning iinnn tthheee hhaaalllsss!!!", said Mimikyu ominously.

A teacher comes over to see what all the ruckus was about. "Liko, Roy, Dot. Is everything okay?"

"Mr. Jacq! That thing has my pendant!", Liko exclaimed.

"Oh dear. I see the problem. This Mimikyu is a thief. Maybe challenge it to a Pokémon Battle...?", Jacq suggested.

"Not in your class though.", Dot says. "That would be destruction of school property."

"Tttthheeen tthhaaattt iiisss mmyyyy ccuuuee ttoo leeavvee sssooo yyyooouu sssttuuuddeeenttss ddoon't ggeett iinn trroouubblllee.", said Mimikyu while leaving the classroom.

"Bye Mr. Jacq. Sorry about all of this", Liko said in apology.

"No problem at all! Good luck getting your pendant back."

"Thank you! MIMIKYU GET BACK HERE!" Liko proceeds to run after Mimikyu again.

Both Roy and Dot say, "Goodbye!", to Jacq before running out of the class room. Jacq waves goodbye back. "Poor Liko. One minute, she studies a lot and does great in her classes, the next minute, a pokémon stresses her out. But she'll be fine. She's awesome!"

Liko and friends run after Mimikyu outside. They are in the battlefield area we're Liko defeated Team Rocket. Carmine, Kieran, and Drayton are having random conversations.

"Come on Drayton... stop doubting me... I believe in Orgepon...", said Kieran.

"That ogre won't like you. I'm serious. I've studied it before.", Drayton says.

Carmine scoffs. "No you didn't. And Kieran, Drayton is right. You have been obsessing over Orgepon when you were 5. Let it go already."

"BUT SIS...!!"

Carmine gets agitated by Kieran talking back. "Brother! What did I say?! Stop talking back and stop talking about Orgepon! That's final!"

Kieran slumped down and huffed and puffed. "Aw man."

Mimikyu walks up to them. He starts to speak. "Mmoorreee hhuummannsss??!! Cccooouullllddd tthhiiss ddaaayyy gggeeettt aaannyyy mmoorrree wwoorrssee???"

"WHAT THE?!", Says Carmine.

Drayton laughed about the Mimikyu's voice. "Hahahha!! I get it! Because it's a Ghost Type, and it's talking like a ghost!!!"

"Hi... Mi-Mimikyu...", says Kieran who is shy and a bit frightened of the Pokémon.

Carmine looks at what Mimikyu has. It appears to be Liko's pendant. "The sweet angle's pendant! Give that back, you tiny gremlin!!"

"Nnnooo cccaaannn ddoooo! Ffffiiiindddeerrss keeepperrss looosseerrr weeeppppeeerrsss!"

"HEY!", Liko shouted.

"There it is!!", Roy shouted.

"Get em", Dot yelled!

Carmine grinned at Mimikyu. "Your in big trouble now."

Mimikyu had no choice. It decides if it can't have the pendant. No one can. It goes after Liko and attacks her. "NNOOTT IFFF I CCANN HEELLP IITT!!"

"WOAH! Hey!!"

Carmine gasped in terror and freaked out. "LIKO! Are you alright, hun??!!"

Liko got up. held her head as she fell down the ground. "Yeah. I'm good." Roy and Dot help her up. "What's wrong with you, dude?!", Dot asked the Mimikyu in concerned.

"Yoouuu aarreee gooiinggg tttoo pppaayyy, childreenn!"

"You wouldn't", Liko said with a annoyed stare.

"Paaayyy!"

Liko looks closely at Mimikyu's chest. At has a letter R written on its chest in black marker. "Hold up."

"PPAAAYYY!!!"

Liko had an idea of who was behind all of this. "Terapagos, come on out and use Tri-Attack!"

"Terapa!!"

Terapagos gets sent out of his Lure Ball and attack Mimikyu with Tri-Attack. The pendant falls off of Mimikyu. Liko quickly grabs it and puts it around her neck.

"NNOOO! YOU FFFIIGGURREEDD OOUUTT MMMMYYY SEECCRREEETTT IIDDEENNTTIIITTYY!!!", Mimikyu exclaimed.

"That's right I did! Now it's time I sent you flying! Terapagos, use Tera Starstorm!"

"Pagoo! Pagos!!"

Terapagos hits Mimikyu witb star particles of Tera Starstorm and Mimikyu is blasting off in the sky.

"IIMMM BBLASSSTTIINNGGG OOFF!!!"

"Excellent work, Terapagos."

"Pagoh"

"Now return." Liko recalls Terapagos. She then sees Team Rocket out of nowhere, they saw the whole thing and had no clue what to say. "I think we should be taking a shower right now.", said Meowth. Team Rocket sneaks off as if they want Liko and the others to pretend they didn't see them.

"Who are those strangers?" Roy asked.

"Team Rocket. They're a bunch of evil organization idiots who like to, quote on quote, steal people's Pokémon. I'm starting to get real sick of those weirdos. But man it's good to be back with my pendant!"

"And I'm glad.", said Carmine. "You're pendant is so beautiful. I love it!"

"Thanks."

"Too bad I might not see you with it for a while.", Carmine said as she gets saddened a bit. "Me and Kieran are going back home to Kitikami for summer vacation. And our friends from Blueberry Academy included."

"Oh... that sucks.", Liko said, frowning a bit.

"Don't worry! You actually one of the first people I look up to who looks very cool to be around! You should visit Kitikami someday!"

"Really?", Liko says with eyes that get stary for a second.

"Of course! And it's because you have been an awesome friend to me! AND ITS NOT LIKE I LIKE YOU OR ANYTHING, BAKA!", Carmine covered her mouth with her hands a blushed when she said that.

Liko was a bit confused and made an awkward face. "What does baka mean?" She didn't quite understand the word baka.

Carmine laughs nervously. "Don't worry about that!! Uhm..!! Hey, I hope you stay safe. I know your probably brave and all, but still. Something tells me I worry about you."

"Eh. I'll be fine." Liko looks at Roy and Dot. "I got friends. Roy and Dot. They help me throughout my adventures."

Carmine was relieved that Liko has more friends around her. "That's good. Oh and another thing, I'm glad I met you, and this isn't goodbye forever, okay?" Carmine gives Liko a kiss on the cheek before leaving the place. Liko blushed a bit. "Oh. Uh..." She had a tiny blush. She held her cheek. "Why did you do that?"

Carmine looked back at Liko and winked at her, obviously resulting in flirting with Liko. "You'll find out when you come over to Kitikami some time." She continues walking.

"Bye, guys! Come visit Blueberry Academy sometime!", said Drayton.

"Hehehe... yeah! Bye!", says Kieran.

Liko still had questions about what Carmine just did. "Uhm guys?! How much do you want to guess Carmine juts gave me a friendship kiss?"

Roy grinned at this. "Nah! I think she likes you!"

"As if!", said Dot.

"I never dated!!! What the heck, Roy?!", Liko said in agitation.

"Sorry! I didn't know...!"

Liko was actually okay with it however.

Whatever lt was, it was still so sweet of her to do.

Liko shakes her head to get her mind off of it for a while. She clears her throat. "Ahem! Anyway, why don't we go find some Legendaries and Mythicals around this region?! We should find some here!"

"I'm in", said Roy.

"Me too!", Dot added.

They all take a walk away from the battle arena.

Outside of the entrance of Naranja Academy. It looks like Arven and Penny were finished giving Ash a tour.

"And that's Naranja Academy for you.", said Arven.

"Awesome!!! I can't wait to see more of this region!"

"You definitely will"

"Yeah, just don't figure out about Team Star...", said Penny nervously.

"Team who now...?!", Arven asks in concern.

"UHM! NO ONE IMPORTANT, NOW BYE!!!" Penny rushes back inside Naranja Academy.

"Okay... anyway, by the way, Ash, you should join me in some Titan Pokémon adventures! You see, I have some Herba Mystica hunting I have to do. And I need your help. Along with discovering Pokémon for my research, that is. Oh, which reminds me, you might need a Tera Orb to Terastralize your Pokémon on the battles you endure."

Ash was excited about all of this information. "I will totally help you with those things! Whenever you need me, I'll be ready!" Ash gives a thumbs up afterwards.

Arven laughs and claps his hands. "Excellent!"

Nemona comes over to see what Arven and Ash we're talking about. "What's this I hear about going on Titan Pokémon adventures!", asked Nemona.

Arven was getting tired of Nemona eavesdropping. "For your information, it's a me and Ash thing."

Nemona didn't like how grouchy Arven gets. "Oh come on! I was just wondering, no need to attack me!"

"I was not—!" Arven huffed and puffed afterwards.

Liko, Roy, and Dot showed up.

"Hey! Is that Liko?!", asked Ash.

Liko looked at Ash. "What the heck?!"

"I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, I've heard about you!"

Roy and Dot didn't expect to see someone so optimistic.

Arven and Nemona walk up to Liko and her friends. "What are you all up too, now?!", asked Arven.

"None of your business, Arven. We got some Legendary and Mythical hunting to do.", says Liko.

"LIKO! Whatever you and your friends are going through, just let the past go!! We can help you!!!", Arven screamed.

"Yeah, we don't think so", Roy said. "Liko is our leader! Our friend! She is the help! And we're helping her!"

Liko felt way too flattered about being called a leader so she toned it down a bit. "I wouldn't say leader, more like, working together as a team."

"Your team is interfering with things that are dangerous! Legendary and Mythicals aren't something to catch without purifying they're behavior first! This could destroy Paldea!", Nemona explained.

"Not if my pendant has anything to say about that", say Liko, showing off her pendant.

Arven and Nemona's eyes widened. "You got your pendant back...?! Liko, the pendant is making you act like this! Your not well!", said Nemona.

"Hey! She is well! You guys are just salty!", Roy insulted.

"Liko! What happens when you keep winning battles with legendaries anyway?! It's cheating and it's not fair!"

Liko was getting serious about this. It seems Arven doesn't understand what Liko is dealing with in her life. So she gives himna reality check. She walks closer to Arven. "You know what else isn't fair? Life isn't fair!!! Me, Roy and Dor have suffered people messing with us far enough! And you know what?! They need to learn some manners. We're done with the bullies who teased us. And we're taking away their freedom, once and for all. Besides, didn't your parents ever teack anything of what's fair or not?"

Arven was stunned when Liko brought up his parents. "My-my parents? Liko I—"

Ash didn't like the way Liko was talking to Arven, so he intervenes. "Hey! Stop talking to my friends like that! What is your problem??!!"

"Shut it Ash.", Liko said as she looked away. "Come on guys. We don't need this."

"Right behind you.", said Dot.

The three Rising Volt Tackler kids leave.

"Are you okay?", Ash asked Arven. "Did she get into your head or something?"

Arven brushed off the fact that Liko mentioned his parents. "I'm fine, it's just that... Liko, made a bit of a good point. I don't know. Will deal with Liko and those other two later. But come on, let's prepare you for a Tera Orb."

"Okay", Ash responded.

Ash, Nemona, and Arven walk into Terastrial Power Headquarters. Once there, there is a room where Ash will receive his Tera Orb.

"This is the place my father created.", said Arven. "My mother designed the machines that creates Tera Orbs afterwards."

"Wow! This place is marvelous.", says Nemona.

A monitor on screen turns on. It was Professor Turo and Sada, Arven's parents, on a commercial footage.

Turo: Hello. I am Professor Turo.

Sada: And I'm Professor Sada.

Turo: Congratulations. Let it be known you have a Tera Orb in your possession. We have studied other Pokémon Powers from other regions.

Sada: Those being, Dynamax and Gigantimax in Galar, Mega Evolution in Kalos, and Z-Moves in Alola. That's why in Paldea, we represent to you, Terastrialization.

Turo: This has been recently discovered by the Legendary Pokémon, Terapagos. It's extraordinary to say the least.

Sada: Use your Tera Orb wisely. It can only be used once im every battle. However, a Pokémon Center or a friend or rival in need can help recover your Tera Orb.

Turo: Goodluck using it on your Pokémon Battles ahead. And be careful with how you use it.

Both Sada and Turo: Terastrial Power Headquarters.

Turo: We're battles are epic, thanks to Terapagos.

The commercial footage ends. The Tera Orb emerges from a futuristic-looking container. Arven takes it out of the container gently and hands it over to Ash. "So, what do you think?! Impressive, isn't it?!"

Ash takes the Tera Orb. "It is! It actually is! Your parents are so amazing at making these!"

Arven blushed out of being flattered by Ash's supportive feedback. "Aaaww shucks! They're scientists! It's the least they can do!"

Ash carefully puts it in his pocket. "Now I'm totally ready to go on adventures!"

"Excellent!", Nemona says.

"It's time we figured out what happened to Arven's parents, stop Liko, go on adventures, on possibly find out what Penny knows about this, Team Star...", Ash stated.

"Your right, Ash. You have a huge adventure with your Pokémon on your hands. And the fate of what threats are hiding in the shadows of Paldea rests within your hands too.", says Arven.

"Then let's do this! For Paldea!"

"Woohoo! Yeah!"

"Alright!"

Ash, Nemona And Arven give each other high fives.

Outside of a huge gate that leads to a town where Naranja Academy also is, Liko , Roy, and Dot start planning what Legendary and or Mythical Pokémon they should hunt for.

"If we're going to find these things to become Pokémon Masters, we need to find out where a legendary and mythical usually hides.", said Dot.

"That'll be tricky, but we can try!", said Roy, being confident. "But also, how do we stop Ash and those goons from getting in our way?"

"I have an idea", Liko thought. "We're going to need Tera Orbs."

"And we're do we find those at? We already know people have them, so we're are they getting them from", asked Dot.

Liko made a mischievous grin. "We're going to Terastrial Power Headquarters." Liko, Roy, and Dot evily smirked and nodded their heads. "Lead the way, Liko", says Roy.

Liko, Roy, and Dot head to Terstrial Power Headquarters while Dot is using a map of Paldea to get there.

It looks like Paldea is in for a war. Will Ash stop the enemies from succeeding? When will this nightmare end? Find out next time, as the journey continues.

Chapter 4 now! So about the Mimikyu, the grammar may be weird but I wanted Mimikyu to sound and talk like a ghost. So apologies if it looks difficult to read. Just tell me if you think it's hilarious or for me to just stop it and do some editing to fix it. But all and all I hope you enjoyed Liko's litte backstory. I need to rewatch people play the Scarlet and Violet game or look up the locations on my Nintendo Switch to make sure I know what adventures Ash needs to take a direction in.

But also, it's going to be exciting folks. One more thing I need to tell you all. I do not have any clue who Ash should be shipped with. I don't know if I should add Serena and ship her with him or ship him with Nemona, but understand that under any circumstances, Ash and Liko will NOT be shipped. In my opinion, according to their anime's, they look like as if they're polar opposites meaning they don't really have that much in common. So if anything, they would act and or treat each other like more of siblings, but they'd still be friends if anything.
