My arm cannon was ready as two Space Pirates beamed into the room. I was surprised that there were only the two, until I saw their grenade launchers. These were, without a doubt, Pirate Grenadiers. An extremely dangerous foe from range, but I knew they were weak in close quarters.
The Grenadiers went down without much trouble, for which I was grateful. As I looked around the chamber I saw the dark mass that the earlier Pirate squad had used as a portal to go to Dark Aether. Equipping my Dark Beam I fired a shot and energized the portal, stepping into it to head to that clone world…
