[LOG FILE 050: TORVUS BOG, AETHER]

The elevator trip from Agon Wastes to Torvus Bog was surprisingly shorter than anticipated. Once the platform came to a halt I took a moment to examine where I had entered the sector. As luck would have it, the shortcut landed me right near the submerged portion of the bog that I had tried to explore previously. Now that I had an expanded arsenal, it was time to check go diving into the waters once again.

I made my way back to the shorter elevator that led to the depths of the Torvus Bog, jumping into the deep water with no hesitation upon arrival. As I made my way down, something caught my eye: a power panel that I had not noticed before. This one was stationed on a ledge that I could jump to, even with the water hindering my movement. After scanning the panel a long arm that seemed to be part of a locking mechanism raised up, and a bridge extended from one of the higher ledges.

I wasn't able to reach the new path from my lower elevation, so I took the Kinetic Orb Cannon in the center platform to get back above the water line. My descent this time landed me on the new bridge, with a door guarded by a purple blast shield. My Seeker Launcher made short work of the nodes, and with the door unobstructed I proceeded further down the path before me. The tunnel led up an incline, and it ended up only being half-submerged.

As I stepped out of the water onto dry metal, I suddenly got an ominous sense of foreboding. There were small blue particles floating in the air. Or was I just imagining it? I shook my head to clear my thoughts, pressing on to the next room…
