Having been under a lot of stress from the Goat Don Valentino's escape made Rayne too sick to come in too work...she layed in her futon feeling hot and uncomfortable
Kohina peeks in at her adopted mother "are you ok" she said only to hear a groan as a response "I feel like I'm dying" Rayne said rubbing her sore throat
Kokkuri walked in with some medicine "your not dying just overworked...it's your own fault for not listening to me" Kokkuri said with a sigh
Flashback...
Inugami was nuzzling against Rayne until he noticed her temperature "what are you doing" Rayne said swaying slightly "your really warm darling are you feeling ok" Inugami said
Kokkuri who just so happened to be passing by with a laundry basket heard this "what's going on" Kokkuri said looking inside
"I'm fine don't worry about it" Rayne said dismissively as she dressed into her coat "you don't look too good maybe you should skip work today" Kokkuri said trying to get her to stop
"I'm fi..." before Rayne could finish her sentence she fell backwards from slipping thankfully Inugami and Kokkuri were there to catch her from falling "your obviously not fine!" Kokkuri said
End of Flashback...
"I'm used to being this...I go to work even when I'm sick...I put a mask on over my face" Rayne said her voice strained and sore as she tried to get up from the futon
[Fennec- so even mama can get sick] Fennec whimpered [Triplets- poor mama] the triplets said in unison making Rayne sweatdrop
"Stay in that futon" Ember said sliding the door open as she walked in with medicine and other things "why are you here" Rayne coughed
"Because I brought the doctor in our family" Ember said as Rias walked in "hello Rayne" She said making Rayne spit out her saliva in shock
"Great Grandma what are you doing here!" Rayne said shocked as Sora Frost also walked in "how rude, I'm here too" Sora said and walked over
"You always overwhelm yourself over work this is starting to become a habit of yours" Sora said as she put down the medical tools on the floor next to her
"Even Aunt Esme is better than you two" Rayne said with a sigh "don't say such things" Esme said walking in "why are you all here!" Rayne said
"Ember said you were sick" Sora said pulling out her stethoscope "can the men please leave so we can do a check up" Rias said pushing both Kokkuri and Inugami out
Hiroshi slammed the front sliding door open "is Rayne here" Hiroshi said in a panicked tone "get that thing away from me" Rayne said with a hiss through the sliding door
"Our family doctors are currently handling the ordeal" Ember said making Hiroshi sweatdrop "did she stress over a case again" Hiroshi sighed
"Yes" Ember said with a nod "NOOOOO" Rayne whimpered loudly as Rias left the room "she's so finicky when it comes to needles" Rias said with a sigh
"Is she gonna live" Hiroshi said dramatically making both Ember and Rias sweatdropped at how dramatic he was being
Sora walked out of the room "She'll be fine...just needs to rest...it's just a cold, Rayne will feel better in no time" Sora said making Hiroshi, Kokkuri and Inugami sigh in unison
Esme opened the door next "as long as Rayne takes the medication we have been prescribing for weeks this won't be a problem" Esme said sounding put off
"I don't need it" Rayne whined like a child "your gonna take it even if I have to force the medicine down your throat" Esme growled in annoyance
"Darling...doesn't like medicine?" Inugami questions in confusion "she's hellbent on ignoring her daily checkups so she can handle work" Sora said with a sigh
Ember walked into Raynes room "Ember what are you doing?" Rayne said as Ember quickly took off the cap and forced the 2 pills down her throat washing it down with tea
Rayne was passed out from disgust of how the pills tasted "problem solved" Ember said with a thumbs up as everyone sweatdropped at her nonchalant attitude
