I don't own Aqua Teen Hunger Force or any of its characters.

The wind was blowing my hair all over the place as I stood in front of my best friend. I had talked Andy into picking her up on our way home. She stared at me with huge eyes as I explained to her about my day and last night. I honestly wasn't sure if she believed me, but I could tell she was hanging on my every word, and she gasped when I told her that I had to go to the principal's office.

"Candace getting into trouble?" she teased as she playfully stuck her tongue out. "I'm shocked!" Her voice showed that she was thinking about the times when I told her that I skipped class; she always told me I was going to get caught. "It's about time they found out about that," she went on. "You know you shouldn't miss class. You won't learn anything." She leaned forward. "What are they gonna do to you?"

I rolled my eyes, about to explain that Frylock had managed to talk the principal into letting me go when suddenly I heard Meatwad calling to me.

Turning around, I saw the meatball rolling to me. He and his friends had gone off as soon as we got back, and I was left here with Allyson, telling her about them. Now she was about to meet them herself. Then she will definitely believe me.

Meatwad stopped in front of me, looking up. "Frylock wants you." That's all he told me before he turned around and started going toward the fence. I didn't realize that the Aqua Teens weren't in my yard. I must have been too distracted talking to Allyson.

"Come on," I told her as I grabbed onto her hand. "They want us."

She started to follow me as I let go of her hand. "They?" she questioned.

"I already told you that you were gonna meet the Aqua Teens," I reminded her.

"Oh right," she murmured as she rolled her eyes.

We both fell silent as Meatwad led the way down the road. I started to wonder where he was taking us. I glanced from house to house, wondering if anyone found it weird for two girls to be walking down the street. Sometimes we'd go on walks when we hung out, but I never saw anyone, and I could imagine people hiding in the shadows, watching us as we walked.

Thinking about this now, I could feel someone watching me. I wondered, once again, who it could be. Were they someone from Aqua Teen Hunger Force? If so, who could it be? I began to think about the other characters, trying to figure out who could be in my world, watching the three of us walk down the street.

I was about to ask Allyson if she could feel someone watching her, too, when suddenly Meatwad came to a halt at the end of the street and announced," Here we are."

It was then that I saw that we were in front of the field, and I noticed Frylock and Shake in it, talking to each other, but when Frylock saw us, he floated over and smiled a little.

"Does she know we are here?" He pointed to Allyson.

I glanced at my friend. "The Aqua Teens are here," I told her, and she just looked at me blankly. "There's Frylock," I went on, pointing to him. Then I told her where the other two were.

"I don't see anything." There was an annoyed look on her face as she crossed her arms.

I turned back to Frylock. "Can you just do that little trick you did on the principal?" I asked.

"Who are you talking to?" Allyson questioned just as Frylock took out the remote and pressed the button. My friend's eyes flew open when the three food people started glowing and then stopped. She just stared at them, clearly speechless.

I couldn't help but smirk. "See?" I gestured to the three of them. "I told you I saw them."

She seemed to have collected herself for she crossed her arms again and rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she murmured.

"Come over here," Frylock told us before he turned around and went back to Shake, who wasn't looking at me I noticed, but I didn't bother worrying about the milkshake. I found it very amusing every time Allyson looked at the cartoons with huge eyes like she thought she was only seeing stuff.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me, Meatwad right behind us. We stopped in front of Frylock, who seemed to be thinking about something.

"Well, I already told you that our world is in trouble," Frylock finally said. Then he glanced at Allyson. "Did you tell her that?

I nodded. "Yes."

There was a confused look on her face. "I don't watch your show," she started," but Candace has told me enough about it to know that every episode there is something going on that would normally threaten people. Why can't you handle this problem?"

Leave it to Allyson to ask such a question, but I, too, was curious to know this answer.

The three friends exchanged glances, before turning back to us. However, Frylock didn't answer Allyson. Instead he locked his gaze with mine. "We need your help to save our world," he told me unexpectedly.

"What?" I gasped. "Why do you need my help?"

"We'll explain that when we get there," Frylock told me, seeming uncomfortable talking about this. "We need to go right away," he went on.

"Okay!" I said, smiling.

"You mean, you don't mind coming with us?" Meatwad asked, sounding confused and surprised.

"Not at all," I told him. But then I added," As long as she gets to come with me." I pointed to Allyson, and my friend glanced at me. I expected her to be happy about that; this was our chance to escape all our problems and this world! We always talked about this, but now there was a worried look on her face.

She looked closely at me. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Candace?" she asked me.

I instantly nodded. "Don't you want to leave?"

"Well yeah," she answered, but then she added quietly," But should we go to their world? Don't lots of people die every episode?"

"Not every episode," I muttered, but I understood what she meant, and fear started to make me rethink this. But there was still a part of me that wanted to go. I wanted Allyson by my side when we really leave this world that has screwed us over so many times, so I had to convince her. I offered her a gentle smile. "Don't worry. I'll protect you, and I'll make sure nothing will happen to you."

For a second she looked like she was about to agree, but suddenly anger flashed in her eyes. "I can protect myself," she pointed out. "I will come, but only to prove that I can take care of myself." I was worried I offended her, but I felt relieved when she gave me a teasing smile.

When we were done talking, Frylock started to float away, calling as he went," The portal is in your closet."

We followed him, and I was aware that Shake and Meatwad was right behind me. "It is?" I replied to Frylock as I caught up to him. "Is that how you three got here?"

"Yup," the fries answered, not stopping. I noticed that he was going back to my house.

Suddenly I felt eyes watching my every movement. I came to a halt and said under my breath," That's it! I can't take it anymore!" I looked all around, trying to detect where the people were. I tried to think who it could be, but I couldn't think straight. It was driving me crazy!

I hardly noticed that the Aqua Teens and Allyson had stopped next to me.

"What's wrong?" Meatwad asked, blinking a few times and looking around. I found amusement in the way he was looking around like a blood-thirsty dog could jump out of nowhere at any moment.

"I feel like someone is watching us." I still looked around, and then I called out," Hello? Is anyone there?"

I noticed that Allyson rolled her eyes. "You're just imagining things," she told me.

Frylock floated around a bit, looking behind stuff. Then he floated back to the rest of us. "She's right. I don't see anyone."

The cartoon was interrupted by someone saying," Looking for us?"

We all turned around and widened our eyes when we saw the Mooninites and the Plutonians. I was surprised to see all of them together. On the show the moon people hated the spike aliens.

I started to wonder what they were doing here. I could see that Frylock was mad to see the aliens here in my world, but I wasn't sure how to feel about them being here. I had a hate love relationship with the Mooninites. They were funny, but I hated the way they treated Meatwad.

"What the hell are you four doing here?" Frylock demanded, sounding pissed. I stepped away from the fries, knowing just how much he hated the Mooninites, but I wasn't sure how he felt about the Plutonians. I guess he found the spiked aliens annoying and stupid.

But when I stepped away from Frylock, I ran into Shake, who stepped back once and glared at me, though I saw a tiny spark of amusement in his eyes, which annoyed me.

I rolled my eyes and moved closer to my best friend, who glanced at me with curiosity, but I didn't feel like explaining to her that Shake's been acting weird ever since I met him, especially in front of everyone.

Ignignokt stepped forward. "We heard that you were coming to a different world." His almost expressionless tone was so familiar to me, and I found myself getting more excited when I heard him yet I could feel annoyance rising in me as well. I didn't understand how the leader could make me happy and mad at the same time. I tried not to think too much into it as the two-dimensional alien went on. "And we saw what she has done to your planet. At first we didn't care, since she didn't touched the moon, until—"

"That fucking she-devil messed with the moon!" Err interrupted his leader. The little Mooninite sounded really mad, but I didn't blame him. I would be mad if someone messed with my home.

I didn't understand what they were talking about though. Who was this "she" they were talking about? Was she ever shown on any episode? Every once and a while, they would show girls on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but the main characters and a lot of the characters, if not all, that people knew their names were boys.

I exchanged a glance with Allyson, and I noticed that she was confused as well which made sense because she never really watched the show so she didn't know a whole lot about it.

"And," Oglethorpe added as he walked to Ignignokt's side," she took over our spaceship."

"And kicked us out," Emory said, coming to stand beside his leader. He stared calmly at Frylock, who didn't seem to care what these aliens were saying.

I started to wonder if this "she" was who Frylock wanted help with. If so, what could I do to help? There was nothing special about me. Suddenly I didn't want to leave this world after all if they expect me to fight a cartoon who would most likely kill me. But when I looked at Allyson, I saw that her eyes were huge as she listened to everything the aliens were saying; I thought I saw determination on her face as if she was ready to go up against anything. I knew I couldn't back down after I agreed to help them.

"Well, soon she won't be a problem anymore," he said as he turned around and began to float away. Allyson and I followed him while everyone else was left to follow us.

Ignignokt ran to catch up to Frylock. "What do you mean by that?" Again, his voice gave away no hints of what he could be feeling right now. I wondered if he ever felt anything. I know when he gets scared or upset that his voice grows to a high-pitch sound, but other than that, there were no other hints to give away what he was feeling. But now, his voice sounded completely expressionless.

"She's going to help us." Frylock pointed to me, and the Mooninite leader turned to look at me.

It seemed like this was the first time he noticed me; the other aliens turned to me also, and I saw fear in the Plutonians' eyes, and Err hid behind his leader. I didn't understand what was wrong with them. I glanced at Allyson before turning to Frylock, and I thought I saw worry in his eyes.

But instead of saying anything, Frylock started floating away, calling over his shoulder as he went," Come on. Let's get back to our world."

"But she looks—" Emory tried to say something, but Frylock stopped and went back to him, covering his mouth with his fry-hand. They looked at each other, and then Frylock whispered something to him. The alien replied in a quiet voice as if they didn't want me to hear..

I didn't understand what was going on. I glanced at Allyson, noticing that she was confused, too, but nobody bothered to explain it to us.

We all began to walk back to my house. When we got there, I noticed that my mom was gone. I knew my dad and oldest brother were at work. Now if only my older brother went with my mom…

I sighed with relief when I saw that Andy wasn't inside. I noticed that the four aliens were staying as far away from me as they could as we entered the house.

"I'm trying to decide if it's a good thing that they are afraid of me," I whispered to Allyson.

She glanced over her shoulders at the aliens before turning back to me. "I say enjoy it while it lasts," she told me, and I laughed, nodding in agreement.

But as the two of us and the Aqua Teens went into my room, the Mooninites and the Plutonians stayed outside, although they were talking in low voices, so I couldn't hear them.

Frylock floated to my closet. He was lucky not to have legs, since the pathway to the closet door was like an ocean of junk.

"You should clean your room," Allyson said as she stumbled over a few books.

I smirked at her. "I could, but we are about to go to another world." I knew it was going to be a lot of fun there since Allyson was coming with me, even if there is a dangerous girl over there. I knew that if I was able to save their world, that Allyson and I could have a good time there.

When we finally got to Frylock, I saw that he had opened the door and was looking into the closet. Inside was no better than on the floor in front of the door. It actually looked worse, the pile of papers and folders and tons of other stuff going all the way up to the hanging clothes.

I looked at him. "How are we going to get in there?" I asked.

He didn't answer me. He floated to the back of the closet, pushing aside lots of stuff. I saw that he kept going farther and farther back, until he disappeared. I widened my eyes when I saw him vanish.

I glanced at Allyson before taking a deep breath and I followed him into the portal.

It was hard to get through all my stuff, and every once in a while, I would hit something and pain would shoot through me. I didn't know my closet was this big. I wasn't even sure how long it had been since I entered my closet until finally I stumbled out of another closet onto sand. I stood up and knocked off the sand. Then I noticed that I was in Meatwad's room.

I'm in a different world now!
