Chapter 8:

(Okay, this should go as a bit followed like in the original, just we have some sense of context for what happened. Is it weird that I thought once Matpat had everything down, I expected Security Breach's story to be a little more simple? Ik that's probably asking a lot, but I honestly thought Gregory's story just needed to be clear and concise, not overtly vague or complicated. Since we have some pieces, I'll try to pick them up. Enjoy the chapter!)

Freddy looked around for the boys in the Roxy Raceway. Gregory OR Sammy were not responding to his calls on the Fazwatch. "Please be okay, superstars." Freddy ran to the next floor, seeing if there was anything to find. "I pray that they are not harmed. I do not know how bad Bonnie could take Sammy being hurt." Meanwhile, his best friend was looking around where the elevator was back in the Faz-Corner. "Gregory? Are you there? Gregory? Sammy, can you hear me?" Freddy said, trying to message them. The robo-bear walked ahead, going to check the attractions on the third floor. He hoped Officer Vanessa didn't find them. Freddy tried to make his way toward the exit of the raceway, when it happened again. Freddy's vision started to blur, static began to cling, errors were happening. "I-I cannot see, what is…" Freddy didn't finish his sentence before another thing was said:

"Sounds like someone's not playing on the right team…" Freddy had heard a voice say from close yet non-visible distance. The voice sounded like a woman, in playful tone. Not before long, Freddy found himself pushed to the ground by brute force. "Wh-Who is there?! Where are you?!"

(Later)

Gregory groaned, awaking from…a nap? Did he…fall asleep? "Where…am I? Sammy?" Gregory looked for the boy, sleeping right next to him. "W-Was I…sleeping?" Sammy asked, "Gregory? Where are we?" Gregory looked around the room they were in.

"Look at all this stuff…How did we…" then, the memory hit the two of them like a train. "W-We got caught!" Sammy said, Gregory opened his Fazwatch, "Freddy? Freddy, are you there?!" Gregory called the bear, "W-We're trapped…" Gregory said. Sammy's heart started pounding and he was startled when the tv turned on. On the monitors displayed that security guard Vanessa. "I'll bet you think you're real clever, Gregory. And that kid, Sammy. Yeah, I know your names." The woman explained to them, "You're both in big trouble! This is NOT the night to be wasting my time." She sounded so abrasive, like someone who was sick of her job. "Gregory, what do we do?" Sammy asked.

"Listen, I'll be back in a few minutes. You two just wait right there in Lost & Found until I can call either your parents or the poli—." Vanessa said, before it got cut off.

In place of the security guard, showed someone else. They had a white bunny shaped mask with glowing red eyes. It was her, the rabbit lady. "Hi there. Do you want to play?" She asked, Gregory and Sammy shook, then they heard the door beyond Lost & Found's open. "W-We gotta get out of here!" Gregory and Sammy looked for a door, "There's nowhere to go!" Sammy said. Gregory then looked over and saw a vent. "Over here!"

(Meanwhile)

Bonnie ran back from the atrium, noting that he heard Vanessa say she was taking the boys to Lost & Found. "Can't the dumb elevator go any faster?!" Bonnie shouted, worried for the boys' safety. "Hang tight, guys! I'm almost there!" Bonnie said, the elevator door opening.

(Back with the boys)

"How do we get it off?!" Sammy said, Gregory looking in the desk for anything they could use. "There's two! Hurry and take that side off!" Gregory shouted, Sammy looked back at the door while he tried to unscrew the duct's cover. His heart was pounding even more, "Hurry, she's at the door!" Sammy shouted, the boys managed to unscrew the duct. "Pull!" The boys worked hard to pull the vent shaft. "Aww, are we playing hide-and-seek-tag? Sounds super fun~!" The rabbit lady said, "Go, go, go!" Gregory shouted, they would've been out of the duct, had there not been an outer cover to deal with, too. "We gotta kick it open!"

Sammy and Gregory did their best to kick the outer duct. "Heeheeheehee, are you having fun yet?" She said to them, "Sammy! Gregory!" They heard a voice call out, it was Bonnie. "Papa! Over here!" Bonnie heard his son's voice coming from that duct near the fountain. "Boys?! Hold on, I'll pull this thing off!" Bonnie grabbed the duct and ripped it off the wall, Gregory and Sammy crawling out of it, "Oh no, not now…!" Bonnie couldn't see in the moment, but didn't care, "We gotta get to the elevator!" Gregory said, grabbing Sammy and running to the elevator. "Friends? Where are you going? Please come back…" they could hear her still speaking.

They opened the elevator door and managed to get inside, "Okay, we're safe." Bonnie said, "Where's—" Before Gregory could finish that sentence, a voice from his Fazwatch spoke. "Gr-rr—regory…Sammy-y-y-y…" it was Freddy's voice, stuttering and glitching out. "Freddy! The rabbit lady's found us, where are you?" Gregory was worried when he heard Freddy's voice. "If you get this me-e-e-essage, come to the Roxy Raceway-way entrance on the second fl-o-o-o-or. I pi-i-i-led some boxes so you hop over the construction fence and fine me-e-e. Something is-s-s jamming my communications signal. Come to the Roxy Raceway." Freddy had explained, his voice changing in tone as he spoke. "I can hear you! We're on our way!" Gregory said, Bonnie stood in front of the door, "Let me go out first, but stay close, rascals." Bonnie said, looking around.

The three of them kept their heads on a swivel, the boys trying to stay out of sight as best they could manage. "Okay, the Raceway entrance is this way, so we shouldn't have too much trouble." Bonnie said, Sammy looking around. He could hear the elevator being used, "Papa, she's following us!" Sammy said, "O-Oh no, let's get out of here before she sees us!" Gregory said, the boys running ahead of toward the entrance of Roxy Raceway.

They unknowingly triggered an alarm by one of the security bots before they made it through the construction area. Sammy and Gregory turned on their flashlights.

They could see posters of Freddy wearing a hard hat, and another character Sammy didn't recognize—Papa called him "Helpy" he thinks—saying that this attraction was closed. "Weird, when I was around, Roxy's attraction was finished." Bonnie said, "Hmm? Maybe it's under renovations? I did hear there was a huge sinkhole around here somewhere." Gregory suggested towards the robo-rabbit, "A sinkhole?" Sammy asked, Gregory nodded. "Here's hoping no one was hurt if there was a sinkhole incident."

Bonnie said, folding his arms. "There are the doors!" Sammy said, immediately running to open them! "Wh-Hey! Rascal!" Bonnie said, Sammy ran and looked for the lift and looked at the door's signs, "It says it's out of order." Sammy said, "Okay, let's find another way in, we have to make it to Freddy."

The three of them tried to find another way into the Roxy Raceway, "Keep searching. They can't hide forever." They could hear Roxy's voice nearby, "Is she coming this way? What do we do?" Sammy asked. Bonnie pointed toward the photo booths.

"Hide in the photo booths. I'll distract Roxy." Bonnie said, "Right, come on!" Gregory grabbed Sammy and hid behind the curtain of a Photo Booth.

"Where are y—" Roxy looked over and saw the last person she ever expected to see again. "B-Bonnie…?" Roxy asked. "H-Haha, heya, Roxy! There's no need to ask when I'm—" Bonnie was stunned when Roxy ran to hug him intensely tight. Bonnie felt ashamed that he tried to crack a joke when he knew this would happen. "S-Sorry…"

"Rrrggh! I should throw you into the trash compactor right now for leaving me!" Roxy said, punching Bonnie in the chest. "O-Okay, I probably deserve that…" Bonnie said, Roxy then went from her clear grieving anger to tears. She immediately settled back into crying over her shoulder. "I've missed you so much, Bon. We all did…" Roxy said, Bonnie hugged Roxy back, "I missed you guys, too."

Sammy peaked in to see what was happening before Gregory tapped him to shut the curtain quietly. "H-How are you even here right now? I thought you were decommissioned!" Roxy asked, "It's a…long story." Bonnie's ears drooped, mechanically.

Roxy looked to her side, "Look, we'll talk about it, later. I need to find two brats who stayed behind and…" when Roxy said that, the lights in her eyes lit up a bright purple. Bonnie had never seen that before, and then the next moment. "Bonnie. Go back to my room and stay out of sight. Nice coat, by the way." Roxy said, walking off to go find the boys.

"Oh. Haha, thanks. Gotta say, you're looking just as pretty as the last time I saw ya, hot-shot." Bonnie flirted and joked, Roxy punched him in the chest again. Bonnie pushed back, acting like he was in pain. "I thought we agreed that you NEVER use that nickname ever again."

"Y-Yes ma'am…" Bonnie then said, waiting for Roxy to walk off. "I'm gonna pretend like I didn't hear that last part." Gregory whispered, Sammy just giggling a little. "You two are super weird, Papa." Sammy said.

"Hey, I'm not weird, rascal! Now let's go help Freddy." They all said, deciding to keep watch out for the others. "Her eyes…what WAS that?" Bonnie thought to himself, worried about when Roxy's eyes flashed that color.

(Meanwhile)

Sun was picking up the remaining few drawings and toys left up by the boys and girls who didn't pick up their things. He was also kinda hoping to see the boys again to know that they were okay, doubly so because Sammy promised they'd play together. "Sun! Mind openin' up?" Sun could hear his best friend's voice coming from the door. "Monty!" Sun was bouncing and beaming with excitement.

Sun opened the door to see his best friend. "What brings my bestest buddy to the Superstar Daycare today?" Sun said, Monty chuckling a little. "Heheh, ain't nothin' much. You see two little guys runnin' on in through here?" Monty asked. Sunny knew Monty was talking about Gregory and Sammy. The cheerful jester couldn't help but wonder why could sense Monty seemed…off. "I…I don't think I've seen anything." Sunny said, trying his best to lie. "Okay, then. Mind if I ask our Man on the Moon?" Monty asked, "Oh—Oh! No, that won't be necessary, I'm sure Moon hasn't seen anyone here, I mean why would he…"

"Hit the brakes, Sunny. If he dunno, he dunno, I get it." Monty was starting to get a little annoyed, and turned around. "Thanks, anyways. I'll get outta yer hair." He said, when Sunny looked into his eyes, behind his star-shaped sunglasses, they shone a bright purple. But Monty's eyes were red, if you didn't count his eyelids. Sunny looked on, "Sure! N-No problem, bestest buddy!" Sunny said, shutting the door to the Daycare.

Sunny figured it out, THIS is what Sammy meant when he mentioned an "emergency." "Oh, please be okay, starlights." Sunny said, praying that no one had caught them.

(Back with the main group)

The other way to Roxy Raceway was conveniently next to where the whole exchange Bonnie had with Roxy. Gregory looked around for the boxes Freddy had set up.

Sammy looked around, it was hardly the big race car track that his papa told him about. It was cramped down to walls, fences, and tons of wood and boxes everywhere, with only one security bot searching around. "These must be it."

Gregory said, "Come on, Sammy." Gregory lifted Sammy up over the boxes. "Be careful, rascals. I'll see if I can find another way around." Bonnie said, making sure the boys end up on the other side of hey the fence okay.

The boys made it to the other side and search, when they saw under a nearby work light. Freddy was there, his shell-casing slightly cracked and dirtied. "Freddy!" Gregory shouted quietly, "Uncle Freddy!" Sammy shouted, "A-Are you okay?"

"There you ar-r-r-r-e. I was so-o-o worried. I waited and waited for y-y-you all. I missed the hourly cha-a-a-rge…Someon-n-ne had a-a-attacked me…" Freddy explained, Gregory looked angry, "Who was it? Chica? Monty? Roxy?"

"I-I-I could no-o-o-t see…The-their voice s-s-sounde-e-e-d female…"Sammy and Gregory looked back at each other, "That scary rabbit lady." Sammy said. "Something-g-g-g is wrong. I-I-I need to get dow-ow-own to Parts and Service-s-s-s.." Freddy said, "What do you mean? Is there anything we can do?" Gregory asked.

"He-Help me get to Parts and Service-s-s-s…" Freddy's body twitched uncontrollably. "Of course I will. U-Uh, I meant we will. How do we get there?" Gregory stuttered, unsure about why he only included himself to helping out Freddy. "It is d-ow-own under the main sta-a-age. Normally, the lift takes me d-ow-ow-own there after every co-o-oncert. That is really the only way I know ho-o-o-o-ow." Freddy explained, advising the boys use the door behind them to get to the rehearsal room on the other side of the building. "Lo-o-ok for a Backsta-a-ge Pass, then find a way to turn on the lift."

Gregory nodded, Freddy wanted to pat Gregory and Sammy's heads. "Good luck, superstars-ars-ars. Entering Rest Mode." Freddy said, now shut down and fallen asleep. Sammy started crying and put on his mask, "H-Hey, don't worry. Freddy's gonna be okay." Gregory assured Sammy, "Come on, let's go do our best."

Sammy nodded, putting his mask to the side and wiping his tears. "Why would she hurt Uncle Freddy? He didn't do anything to her…" Sammy didn't understand what reason the creepy lady in the rabbit costume had to attack his uncle. "I-I'm not sure." Gregory said deciding not to explain really bad people or anything related to that sort to a seven year old.

Meanwhile)

Asher could feel his eyelids closing while he was driving, but he needed to get back to the Pizzaplex as quickly as he could. He stopped at a traffic light turned red. "God, I'm asking that I won't be too late. Those boys are just children." He thought to himself, quietly praying that Gregory and Sammy are safe. "While I'm there…I might have another chance. I need to save the princess, too."

(Okay, we're at the end! I hope u guys enjoyed this chapter. I high-key kinda didn't know how or where to end it, so I figured I'd give us what Asher is doing and oh my gosh, there's character in FNAF named Asher already. I wish I knew that before I decided the name. Anyways, I hope I handled Vanny well as writing a villain, cuz we all know she got shafted and stuck saying "Are you having fun yet?" The minimal time she got. Finally, there's a REASON Freddy was so damaged and started glitching, when it felt like there wasn't really anything like that in the base game. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
