CHAPTER ZERO

THE NEW SAIYANS

We all know the story of the Saiyan Race, a race of Warriors with Incredible power and potential to become even more powerful both during and after battles. Growing stronger and stronger, eventually their power would interest the God of Destruction of Universe 7. Lord Beerus, The Destroyer. Who would order his then subject, Frieza, the current galactic tyrant and strongest mortal warrior of his time. Frieza himself having become wary of the Legend of the Super Saiyan, a Warrior of Untold Power and Might rising up from the depths to defeat him, and was already planning on destroying said world, and now with Beerus on his side for this.

A massive grin as the Evil Empire knew what he was to do next.

But what if Frieza wasn't as thorough in his eradication of the Saiyans as he thought?

What If more survived and were simply. Waiting.

39YRS AGO.

ONE MONTH BEFORE THE END OF PLANET VEGETA

The Saiyan Warriors had been ordered to return from all missions by direct orders from Lord Frieza, as King Vegeta waited in his throne room as to why their business leader had ordered their return to their home world, his son was ordered off world as well as his entire squad of that low class trash, and Nappa. The Saiyan King sat on his throne surrounded by his guards, one guard in particular, a Female Saiyan of remarkable power, being one of the strongest in his ranks, she had the honor of being one of his personal guard.

CHINI. ELITE SAIYAN WARRIOR OF KING VEGETA

This Saiyan Warrior, Chini, Saiyan Elite, sat in a cafeteria eating massive amounts of food like any Saiyan Warrior would, while eating though, she looks at a tablet in her hand, measuring planets that are in Frieza's empire, watching on she thinks to herself about what her Younger Brother said.

Said Younger Brother, The Low Class Warrior, Bardock.

Chini thought in what he said, that Frieza would come to destroy their planet in some time, she wasn't sure on whether or not to believe him or not.

THAT NIGHT

Chini returned to her home, a lavished place of living for an Elite Saiyan,

"Daikon!" she yelled out into her home.

A young Saiyan Boy appeared from the next room

DAIKON/CHILD OF THE SAIYAN ELITE

Daikon was happy to see his mother, they had never been able to see each other since he started going on missions to conquer planets for the Frieza Empire, the young boy was about 12yrs of age, and incredible power for a boy his age.

Power Level: 680

But something worried Daikon, the look on his mother mother's face was troubling. Maybe it was something her Brother Bardock said, that lord Frieza was going to destroy their entire race and that he was going to get his son off the planet before that, to just try and if turned out to be nothing, he could retrieve him later.

Chini herself had been feeling off as well, maybe it was nothing, but if not, it would do her much good knowing that her son was at least safe somewhere out there in the Universe.

With a look of displeasure in her eyes, she knew what had to be done, and it had to be done soon.

THREE DAYS LATER.

At Night, far away from any forms of civilization, Daikon was there with his young Saiyan Squadron, four other Saiyans were there with him. Chini wasn't like most Saiyans of her time, on top of working in the Castle, she was also what some would take in as a caretaker, to not just her son, but to a Squad of Orphan Saiyans, Saiyans whose parents had gone on missions and never been seen again or those whose parents had been accused of Treason against their king and their race and thus, Executed.

This a job that only a handful of Saiyans actually partook in, seeing how they were warriors, having no one to take care of them would mean that it would make them stronger. But Chini had decided to take care of these young ones, becoming their mother figure of sorts. Until they were old enough to survive of their own without her.

She had ordered all the children in her care to be in this field late in the dead of night. It was fine because this was her own private training field, and if anyone had a problem with this, then it meant they would have to take it up with her.

"M-Mother, what is going on?"

Her son's voice rang through the air as she prepared the numerous space pods around her. 6 Pods lined up in total, she smiled when she saw him and behind him, his Brother.

"Turles"

TURLES. ADOPTED SON OF CHINI

"Why did you call us out here Chini?" her voice had much more stern.

Chini was actually surprised the first day she met Turles, the young boy having a very big resemblance to her own new born nephew Kakarot, she even believed this could maybe be the young Saiyan was already ready to be sent out on a mission or something. Yet it only turned out to be a young orphan boy, one who was actually a fan of her brother Bardock.

"Be nice Turles" said the voice of a girl.

LEILANI/ SAIYAN HYBRID

Leilani was a Saiyan born during her father, a Low class Saiyan who was ordered to subjugate a world for the Frieza force, but after slaying the king of that world and conquering it, he would procreate with the Princess of that world, spawning a Half Saiyan child. Her father was executed for such an act and the child, she would have been sent off to a distant world to die, if not for Chini choosing to take the child in as her own.

"Quite Half-Breed" Turles yells at her

"I see Turles is in one of his moods tonight. Bullying Leilani again?" another female voice came up to the elder Saiyan and the Saiyan child.

SARIEL. SAIYAN ELITE. POWER LEVEL: 6300

Sariel was the eldest of the group, being of a Saiyan Elite herself, she took well to training and care of her mother figure. It was also good because she was one whom actually got Turles of all the group to listen to her as well as getting him to do things. She was respected as one of the strongest of the lower Elites, with a power level of 6300.

"Ooh~ Turles made Sariel mad again"

Coming into the frame, were two more Saiyan children

KENJI. LOW CLASS SAIYAN. POWER LEVEL OF 100

ZORAK. LOW CLASS SAIYAN. POWER LEVEL: 500

The Six Young Saiyans were gathered into this field. Their adopted mother standing before them, with Six Space Pods in front of them

"Mistress Chini, what is happening?" Leilani asked her adopted mother

Chini stared at the Orange haired Half-Breed Saiyan, she was always mistreated by all those around her, seeing her as nothing more than an impure mutant abomination, Chini knew that she wasn't her child, but she still loved her, seeing her potential being greatest amongst all of the children.

"Don't worry Leilani, this is an order of your king" Chini lied to them

Turles was the first to question this, closing his eyes and walking away with his cape into one of the Space Pods. The others were all apprehensive at this, especially Zorak, the young Saiyans keeping quiet about the whole ordeal, Kenji flew over to his brother Turles, entering into the Space Pod next to his own.

Kenji looked up at her

"What is this for?" the boy questioned

Chini knew this would happen, Kenji was excellent at spotting deception in a fight, it would make sense that he would be able to do it here as well, so lying would only make the others be apprehensive of her even more

"My brother has been spreading a rumor about Frieza, he says he might be planning to get rid of the Saiyans, now I don't believe that this will be true in the end, but if it might be, in anyway, well I want my kids to be safe"

"Mother" Sariel spoke, but she was cut off my Leilani holding her hand "And if this rumor turns out to be false"

She sighs "Then I will contact you all, and if I don't, well it means that Bardock was right"

Relenting this, all Six Saiyans would enter into the Pods in the Dead of Night. And launching all of them, the Six Pods are sent out into space, in the direction of a planet that isn't in the Frieza force Database and as much as she knows it had to be done, part of her didn't want to just caste off her children like that.

The Six Pods were sent off in the direction of a planet that supposedly wasn't in Frieza's Database, Months would pass for the children and during that time, Bardock's prediction would prove fruitions and the evil emperor of the Frieza Force would destroy Planet Vegeta out of fear for the rise of the Super Saiyan defeating him.

PLANET ILORI

As Time went on, the Sextuple of Saiyans would arrive on a world that wasn't brought under Frieza's empire, and was far out into Galactic Space to ever catch the Space Tyrants vengeful gaze. Planet Ilori was home to a race of human like beings, they possessed all the same features as a regular human, albeit they possessed their own distinguishing features such as Crimson Red Skin, White Hair and Green Eyes, elf like eyes, similar to that of a Kaioshin. The Ilorians were more of a technological species, advancing their science and not their warriors.

As the Group crashed on this planet, awakening from Hyper-Sleep, Sariel stepped out of the Pod first, the planet was so bright, even making her shade her eyes from the brightness, she looked up at the Planet Skies, clear Blue Skies with Red Clouds, shifting her attention to their surrounding area, she discovered that they had landed just outside of a densely populated area, some kind of City perhaps. The others Pods began to open soon after hers did, allowing all the Saiyan Children to exit and take in the world around them.

"So this is Planet Ilori, doesn't look like much" Turles was the first to speak "Why did Chini send us to this back water dump anyways?"

Leilani looked at her adoptive brother "To keep us safe Turles, you heard what she said, Frieza was planning to destroy us all, she was rescuing us" the hybrid stated. Kenji glanced at the Hybrid, feeling she shouldn't even be talking about the Mistress the way she is, a damn hybrid like her shouldn't even be classified as a Saiyan, but looking at her again, he did notice something had changed with her, her hair, it…. It had grown out a bit.

"What?" Leilani asked her brother. He glared at her, no desire to speak to the Mongrel Hybrid. Leilani, as if able to hear his thoughts, glares back at him. Turles, Leilani and Kenji all glared at each other, but the loud voice of Sariel snaps them out of it "Hey, would you three Stop it!" she screams at them. Zorak and Daikon just stared at their siblings, then at each other, then the city that they had crashed nearby on.

The Group needed to know what to do for now, they had no idea about what had happened to their home, if Frieza had truly destroyed it or not, Zorak then remembers what their mother had said to them before she sent them off. Rushing to Sariel's pod, he reaches into it and finds a Scouter

"What're you doing with that?" Daikon asked his brother. He then notices a red beeping on the device. "Hey what's that?" he asks, Zorak looks down at the piece of Frieza Force tech, placing it on his face and playing back the message

{Kids! It's as Bardock said, it's Frieza, he's come to Planet Vegeta, I think…I think Bardock is trying to fight him right now, he's leading a rebellion against him. I've never said this to all of you, but stay safe, stay together and get stronger} the message cuts away in a bright yellow flash, the Six Saiyan children all had expressions of shock on their faces, their home was gone, their people were gone and their mother…

Sariel took the scouter from Zorak, the entire group stared at her, she was their leader and the strongest, and despite all that they had against each other, they were now probably all that remained of the once great Saiyan Race. She looked around at all of them, before crushing the device in her hand, this act actually shocked them

"We no longer belong to the Frieza force" Sariel said to the group, determination in her voice and eyes

Daikon, Zorak, Kenji, Leilani, and Turles all stared at their elder sister. Whatever they were going to do now, they were going to do it together. And for Months, the Saiyan Children had been ordered by Sariel to stay in the forest, killing animals in order to survive and not starve. This was their lifestyle for the first year and a half on this mysterious world, until finally they decided to go into the city. Low and Behold, that this was the Capital City of Planet Ilori, Crimson City.

Strolling through the city, Sariel, Daikon, Kenji, Turles, Leilani and Zorak were all blown away by the technological marvels that this city had, Flying Vehicles, Jetpacks, and so much food. There were also places for the children to play at, such as Massive Fares Wheels and the lot. Zorak was very enamored with their technology, it astonished him. He was the son of a Brilliant Saiyan Scientist after all, as well as the Engineer of the Team. Even the robotic security stationed around the city amazed him.

Turles himself, he found himself more so drawn to the nature reserves on this planet, even when they were living in the forests, he had taken some time to actually tend to the trees and nature around him.

Leilani, being only half Saiyan didn't fully enjoy battle and she was actually into Science and Technology as well, just like Zorak, it was the reason that the two of them go along best amongst all their siblings. She and Zorak were both swooning over the technology of this world. Kenji folded his arms, refusing to allow this world to distract him like it had with those two, but that would immediately be broken by the art. That was something that caught his interest, Art, Painting.

Sariel and Daikon both sighed in unison, they face palmed hard, watching their siblings run around and be enamored by all of these trinkets. But something stoked their warrior instincts, especially Sariel's, hers were sharper than her baby brother's, there was a reason she was an Elite Saiyan. A man dressed in teal blue armor approached them, in his arm was a Massive Weapon, he stood before her with a glare, a hard one

"Saiyan woman, I am Char-Ger, I am an emissary of the Queen of this planet and you six have been summoned to her highness palace."

Sariel didn't know whether to trust the man, she didn't have a scouter so she couldn't tell what this man's power level was, but she could tell, he was strong. She took a fighting stance, but Daikon stopped her by stepping up

"We, ugh, we will come with you, Sir" this baffled Sariel, just doing what a stranger says without a fight, not very Saiyan of him. And Turles agreed, he was about ready to punch his brother in the face, Saiyans didn't turn and do whatever they were told, but then Leilani reminded him that that was basically all they had done for Frieza their entire lives, what had changed now. He growled and glared at her for so much as speaking to him, the Half-Breed trying to tell a pure blooded Saiyan what to do.

Kenji was with Turles on this one, why should they just go with him like that, but Zorak held him back from attacking him, Zorak was best at gauging someone's power, from the way they stand, to the way they stood in a fight, how they breathed and now they composed themselves, all of Char-Ger said that he may be able to tell that, he was probably even stronger than Sariel. So the group swallowed their pride and followed the man to the castle. It was a very bid deep Castle, the architects of this species having built the castle underground, and by Kenji's sight, was immaculately done.

"This Castle was built in a way that the Queen would be able to feel all of the world around her, protecting her Kingdom and People, it allows her to know all and she sent me to bring you to her if you ever stepped out of the forest" Char-Ger explained

"Why didn't you come down sooner?" Zorak asked him

"The Queen hadn't dubbed you six as a threat yet and also, she had heard of what had happened to your world"

All of them lowered their heads and closed their eyes, a moment of silence for their fallen Saiyan brothers and sisters. When they finally reach down, they continue to follow their guide, walking down a flight of stairs next.

The gang finally make it to a massive door dwarfing all of them, Char-Ger pushes the door open and the group are met by… by a Young Girl? She was dressed in quite a long gown, with silver and platinum ores adoring the dress.

Daikon asked first "Is this the Queen?" the question was too Char-Ger. Whom looked back at the young boy, opening his mouth, but being met with a sounding but gentle "No" they all look back at the girl, she curtsied to the group

"I am First Princess Pitch" she said

Pitch looked quite different than the rest of her people, so far, most of the people they'd seen had red, at least amber skin with white and some black hair, but she possessed Teal Blue Skin, the matching color to Char-Ger's armor, as well as long Grey Hair. She appeared to be the same age as Leilani, she even glanced at the young girl, and her eyes widened a bit, a blush on her face. "I am here to direct you further past this point to the Queen, my mother, Empress Liotrix" she bowed to them.

Turles liked that a Princess was bowing before his Saiyan Might, as did Kenji, while Zorak and Leilani bowed back, showing respect, and then Sariel and Daikon were just frozen, unsure of how to act around Royalty. Were they to show respect or respond in kind. So they just shut up.

At this point Char-Ger stopped, Kenji stopped as well, looking back at the man, he asked him "Are you coming?" and the Royal Guard responded with "No. I am a Crown Guard, meaning that I stand Guard for the Royal Family" he resumes his post. Kenji stared up at the man, then, he stood at the opposite side of him "What're you doing?" he asked "Well if you aren't going, then you might need a strong Saiyan warrior to keep you company" "I do not, leave" "Nope, you aren't going, so I am staying to keep you company" It was obvious to the Royal Guardsman that this boy was not going to leave anytime soon.

While for the remaining Five Saiyans, they followed the Princess forward to the Queen's Chambers, these doors even dwarfing the ones that they had seen just to enter the palace, Pitch pushed the doors, and the group is revealed.

The Ilorian Queen.

The Queen had the same Teal Skin as her daughter, but instead, she possessed four arms. "Ah, the Saiyans" the five Saiyans stood before the Matriarch of this Planet. Sitting on her throne, the Queen of this planet stood up from her throne, looking at the five warriors of the now destroyed Saiyan Empire. Turles stared at the queen, not taking her seriously, he was a great Saiyan warrior, greatest warriors in all the Universe. As if reading his mind, she looks at Turles, smiling as she bowed at him, this caught Turles by surprise, unfolding his hands to look glare at her.

"I would like to know what you six are doing here?" Queen Ilori asked them

The group of them all stare at the woman, then at Sariel, the rest were all children so speaking to a queen was something that only two of them were able to do, with those being Sariel and Daikon, with one being a Saiyan Elite and the other being the child of one, the two of them had been in the presence of King Vegeta and Queen Casava. Sariel bows down to the queen,

"We… we are here because we have lost our home" Sariel admits to the queen "We have nowhere to go and our mother, she… she sent us here to save us"

Queen Ilori looks at the five Saiyans in the room, the five orphans in her throne room "Then what are you here for?" she questions the group. "But what are you doing here, I know that the Saiyans were bloodthirsty monsters, who destroyed whatever world Frieza ordered them too, them being destroyed and then sold off. Why should I help you?"

The Queen lets out a monstrous Power, they didn't have scouters, but they could all feel the intensity of her power, it was insane, like nothing they had ever encountered before, even the young one outside could feel the might of the Queen. "W-what is that?" Kenji asks his wants to be friend "That, young one, would be The Queen's power, she was truly a powerhouse, isn't she?" Char-Ger states to the Saiyan child. In the Throne Room, the queen's power begins to push back against the Saiyans, but then, Sariel releases a massive power of her own, and then, her power manages to push back the queen's.

And then, Zorak steps up "We can help you!" the group all stare at their brother, the soft hearted Saiyan spoke up to the Queen. Pitch looked at the young Saiyan "You can help me! How?!" she screamed at the boy. Her power nearly pushing him back to the ground

Zorak looks up at the Queen, bowing to this power.

LATER

Char-Ger stood still, ignoring the child Saiyan in front of him. But the power they had felt from the Queen, it had disappeared. Then, the gates start to open, walking out of the throne room were the Five Saiyans, Sariel, Zorak, Turles, Leilani and Daikon. All five of them walk towards their brother and the Royal Guard, and now they open

"The Queen said we can live here" Leilani notes to her brother.

This surprises Kenji, earlier he had also felt the Queen's power, feeling the sheer intensity of that might was astonishing and almost terrifying. But with them now being able to live alongside the Ilorians, but what are they meant to even do right now, train or just live their lives. Char-Ger was ordered into the throne room by Princess Pitch. He bowed to her and went into the throne room, while the Saiyans waited outside for the Queen to give them a place to live or would they be living in the Palace. But while they wait, Pitch calls to Leilani, the Half-Breed Saiyan and The Princess go together

"Princess?"

Pitch stands at the edge of the room, Leilani meets with her there, smiling at the future ruler of this planet.

"Princess Pitch?"

"Ugh, I never got you name before" she said rubbing the back of her head "I'm sorry"

Leilani stands there for a second before answering with "Leilani" giving an honest answer to her name. The Saiyan and Ilorian stare at each other for a brief moment, before Pitch makes a comment about her hair and eyes, having never heard of a Saiyan with Orange Hair, to which Leilani actually seems to find as a bit of a touchy subject, not answering the Princess's question as to why it was like that, hiding the fact that she was only part Saiyan.

LATER

The Saiyans were all escorted by Char-Ger to a room where they would all be staying by orders of the queen, their situation still unknown by Kenji, but he looked back at Char-Ger, giving a thumbs up to the royal guard, the man closes the door, not even giving the boy a second glance. Turles and Zorak were first to climb aboard their beds, it was much softer than what they had been sleeping on for months in the forest, although Turles did enjoy the forests and the trees. Zorak and Kenji were fans of the technology, Daikon liked the art of this world.

Leilani, the half Saiyan seemed to be staring at something from in the courtyard. Sariel went to her sister, looking down to what she was staring at. What she was staring at turned out to be Princess Pitch, the teal skinned woman smiling as she took a stroll down the courtyard.

Sariel would order for her siblings to get some sleep, by what they knew, they were the last of the Saiyan race, so it was their job to make sure that none of them were killed, as that would implore the doom and end to the Legends in which they must carry. But that word of the Legend, sparks an Interest for all the young Saiyans in one Legend in particular, 'The Legendary Super Saiyan' and each of them wanted this Legend to be achieved by them, all except for Leilani, believing a half breed would never be able to achieve such a power for herself. And with that, the Saiyans would rest for the night, tomorrow awaiting their Judgement at the hands of the Queen.

I like Dragon Ball and would actually like something like this to happen where they would reveal something like a small squadron of Saiyans were able to avoid Planet Vegeta's destruction and have just been living out their lives on some advanced society that would be able to allow them to gain massive amounts of strength while there.
