Alice Montgomery grunted as she placed the last of her boxes down. Standing straight, she gives a happy hum at the sight of her new home. It was a small town home, with one bedroom and one bath, but it was perfect for her. The movers had come in the day before and set everything up; her having to pay extra for their help with the bed and her multiple bookshelves. She moves towards the box she wanted to open up first, the box full of the memories from her past. Tears slightly gather in her eyes as she pulls out the picture of her parents. Six months ago, her parents passed away in a car accident; and left her all alone. She didn't have any family, but she did have a home in her name that her parents passed onto her, along with everything else.
The strange thing, was the home; it was in Paris, not that she was complaining. She just didn't understand why Paris; especially when they all lived in America. So, she sold the home that had grown up in and made her way across the world. It was a sudden change, but one she really believed she needed. Two months ago, she turned eighteen and graduated with a full scholarship to whatever school she chose. Exactly a month ago, she managed to find the perfect college for her in Paris near her new home. She knew it was all moving fast, and she knew that the moment time finally slowed down; that she would break, but for now; she wanted to live.
Placing the photo on her bookshelf, she smiled and let out a small breath. "I'll be okay, I promise." She gives their picture a small two finger kiss, before moving to get to work on the rest of her boxes.

Night had fallen, Alice had mostly finished everything; with just a few more boxes to be unpacked in her room, but she was hungry. The problem was she had no idea where anything was, she had managed to transfer funds and gather money in Parisian currency, at the moment; it wasn't a lot, and she would have to wait another week before the rest transferred over. Something about it being too much to transfer all at once, whatever. They gave her back enough to live off for two weeks, giving them enough time to get everything going. She groans slightly, grabbing her bag and pulling her hair back into a ponytail. Turning back to her new home, she lets out a small breath and smiles. "I'm home." Pulling out her keys, she makes her way outside; the gentle wind blowing across her face and the night sky shined. The lights looking magical as she finishes locking her door and making her way down the street.
It doesn't take long before she sees a small restaurant, its sign reading 'Le Mary Celeste.' She smiles, crossing the road; and enters the small cafe. "Cute." She mutters, making her way to sit in the back. A woman walking up, shortly after she sits down. "Hi! How can I help you tonight?" Alice laughs, giving the woman a smile; her eyes scanning over the menu. It takes her a few minutes and a couple of questions from the waitress before she decides on the most simple one. She would get used to it, eventually; she hoped. Thirty minutes later, with a full stomach; Alice steps back out into the cold, her eyes scanning the area. A small frown pulling to her lips as her eyes take in the sight of someone hovering over another person. Without thinking, she makes her over; she could make out some shouting words, immediately taking note that one of the two people was a drunk. "Hey!" Her voice cut through the air and she holds up her phone. "I've got the cops on line one; you wanna stay and find out what they'll do to you?" She asks, shaking her phone causing the man to scoff and take off.
She pauses for a moment to make sure he was really gone, before slowly making her way towards the other person that sat in the ground. "Are you okay, sir?" She moves to quickly help the old man up, he groans slightly but nods. "Yes, thank you..." Alice smiles, a pause passing through them before her eyes widened. "Oh! Right! I'm Alice, sorry. Nice to meet you." She grabs the old man's hand and shakes it, "I'm Wang Fu, thank you again. The man bumped into me, but due to his drunken state; he blamed me." Alice nods, "I get that. Believe me, I've had my fair share of run ins." They both laugh together, "Anyway, you should be able to get home now; I'm gonna head out, it's getting late and I only have one more day to move in before my first day of college." The old man cocks his head, "You're new to Paris?" Alice nods, "Yeah, just moved in today."
"Well, I hope to see you around." They smiled at one another before they went their separate ways. The old man watching her for a moment with a cock of his head, "I think I've finally found you a holder, Fein. Time to be free, once more."

The next morning, Alice's eyes opened to the rays of light coming through her window. A low groan escapes her lips as she turns away from it, "Gonna need to get curtains." She grunts out, trying and failing to fall back to sleep. Another groan is let out as she slowly sits up, her eyes scanning over her room and a small sad smile makes its way onto her lips. "It's okay. I'll be okay." She could hear the bustle of Paris outside and moves to get out of bed, coming to a stop when she notices a box on her nightstand. "The hell?" She slowly reaches for it, and as her hand touches the box; a gasp escapes her lips. Images pass quickly over her minds eye and then it all stops as the box shoots open. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean for you to see that! I was only trying to look for a moment! I wanted to see if you were going to be a good holder or not!" The tiny floating thing ranted really fast as its wings fluttered behind it.
It stared at Alice and Alice stared back.
A pause, then a loud scream shot out of the young woman's mouth as she swatted at it and flung herself backwards off her bed. Landing quite perfectly, if I might add; "No! Please! I'm sorry!" Alice screamed again, rushing towards the bathroom and slamming the door in its face. The tiny being sighs, its arms dropping as it floats towards the door. "If closing the door makes you feel better, I'll stay on this side." She waits for a response and when she doesn't get one, she starts speaking again. "I'm Fein, I'm the Phoenix Kwami of Fate. I don't get let out much, so I don't know how much you know about superheroes or miraculous holders." She pauses again, waiting for Alice to show her a sign.
A smile lights up her face as the door slowly creaks open, "I read a lot, so I know stories, but I thought that's all you were. Stories." Alice speaks up, Fein slowly backing up as Alice moves along the wall towards one of her bookshelves. She glances between the books and the floating kwami, grabbing one and holding it open for the little creature to see. Placing it on the table, she moves back to sit on her bed; silently praying that this was all a dream. "I see, so we are told in history; well the past creation and destruction holders at least." The little kwami seems to deflate at something, before turning back to Alice.
"I know this is hard to take in, but it's been a long time since I've a had a holder and I hope we can become friends." Alice stares at the little thing for a few moments before sighing. "So, you said you're the kwami of fate? What does that even mean?" Alice asks, Fein perking up at the thought of getting to know her new holder. "Well, unlike Kitty and the others; I'm only ever taken out every few centuries, dude to certain aspects of my powers. I can heal, I can fly, and I can see people's fate. Usually, when I'm taken out, my powers turn my holders dark; very rarely are they good." A scoff escapes Alice's lips causing the kwami to flinch. "And what makes you think I won't go dark?" She asks, crossing her arms and raising a brow. Fein smiles, floating towards her; "Because, you're the first holder I've ever been able to fully see. Usually, I can only see parts of my holders fate, but you! You, I saw the end and it was wonderful." Fein exclaimed as she spins in the air, her body lighting up slightly as flames rose from her body.
"Easy, birdy. You'll burn my new home down."
"Sorry."
"Look, it's not that I don't believe you, but you're not exactly giving me much of anything. Now, I know the rules; I can't see my own fate, yada yada ya... But you saw my end? What's that supposed to mean?"
"Hmm, how should I put this, you die happy!"
"Wow, well said." Alice gave the kwami a dry look causing her to wince slightly, "Right, that wasn't helpful either. Okay, so how about this... you will meet someone who will become everything, who will take all the darkness, the damage underneath and make it all go away." Tears gather in Alice's eyes as she stares at the floating bird. "I guess, I can live with that." Alice breaths out, wiping her eyes and giving Fein a smile. "So, explain this superhero business to me... not something I imagined I would ever say." Alice mutters as she moves to sit at her desk, pulling out a pen and notebook. "Well, first things first; I recharge on anything spicy! I love spicy things!" Alice stares at the twirling bird before letting out a sigh, clicking the pen and writing that down. "Spicy, got it." She circles it a couple times as well.
"Okay, number one rule; you can only see someone else's fate once. If you choose to do so, you'll get sick for about a week and I'm not playing either. It's vomiting and sitting on the toilet for hours." Alice grimaces as she writes down what Fein says; "TMI, but okay...next?" Fein smiles at the woman, she knew that this one would most likely be her last; not that she was going to die, but Fein knew that she wouldn't be able to move on from the brown haired, green eyed girl once she had moved on. "Fein? Next one." Fein blinked, nodding. "Right! Two, you can heal yourself and others, but it will take a lot out of you. It won't make you sick, just really sleepy so remember that. Three, you can see in the dark and fly." Alice pauses for a moment, humming slightly as she pauses to think. "You said kitty earlier..." Alice didn't know how, but the Kwami actually got redder at the mention of the word.
"Yes, Kitty. Well, his name is Plagg; he's the cat miraculous and the Kwami of destruction. He's also my fated one." Fein rushed that last sentence out so fast, Alice almost didn't catch it. Almost. Alice slowly turns to the red bird with a smirk, "Ooh...So, even little superhero creatures have lovers." She teases causing the bird to squeak slightly and smack her on the hand. "Don't say it like that! It sounds wrong." Fein grumbles out, Alice laughs in response. "Fine, I'll tease you about it later. Next?" Fein huffs, "Three, you can use your wings as a shield, and I thinks that's about it. When you want or need to transform, you just say, 'Phoenix Wings Fly' and to de transform it's the same thing, but with Fall at the end." Alice nods along as she writes, her hand scribbling as fast as the kwami talked.
"Is that everything?" Alice asks after a moment, finishing up her writing as she looks it over once more. "Yeah, I think so...oh!...no, you have a special ability that you can use without getting tired or sick." Fein smiles at the woman, Alice stares back waiting for the tiny bird to explain. "Oh! Right, hehe. Sorry, it's been so long, I barely remember how to do this." Fein went to finish, but Alice held her hand up. "Are you sure you want to do this? With me, I mean. Shouldn't it be someone else, or maybe another time?" Fein shakes her head after Alice finishes her questions; "No, I was given you for a reason. You are my reason to be out, I don't have anyone else nor do I want anyone else. I've been waiting for you for as long as I can remember, I'm just a little rusty." Alice gives the tiny creature a small smile. "If you're sure."
"Most positively." Alice laughs, "We are definitely going to work on your words for this century." They both laugh together, for the first time in forever; the duo felt at home. Even the most lonely creatures need a friend. "So, that special power?" Fein moves to sit down on the desk as she finishes up her explanation. "You have a special ability that allows you to control/manipulate any and all fire at your will. Once you say, 'Flames Rise,' but there's a catch." Alice snorts slightly, "There usually always is...go on." Fein shakes her head, "You only have five minutes afterwards before you change back so I can recharge. So, make sure you keep something spicy on you at all times." Alice nods, writing it down; letting out a sigh once she's finished. She leans back and stretches, "Well, that's done and I'm pooped." Alice stands, grabbing the paper and making her way towards the bookshelf closest to her bed. Fein watches as she climbs on the bed, standing to pull down a book from the top shelf.
"What are you doing?" Fein asks, cocking her head to this side. "Keeping your secrets safe within the one book that everyone finds boring and would never look inside." She opens it and slips the paper within the pages, before closing it. It didn't even have a bump where the paper was, so it was the perfect hiding spot. "What book?" Fein asks, Alice spins to face her with a smirk. "The dictionary." She winks, jumping off her bed and moving towards the door. "Now, come on. I'm hungry." Fein follows after her new holder with excitement.
She couldn't wait to reconnect with the world and her kitty.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, after eating breakfast, she finished unpacking while listening to Fein explain everything about the other miraculous. She explained that the Cat and Bug would be finding their chosen holders soon, and that she they would be Alice's new partners in crime. Alice couldn't let them know her identity, and same with them. Fein also showed her the jewelry she least had to wear for Fein to be by her side. Not that she minded, the earrings were beautiful, but they both agreed that she couldn't sleep with them on; so Fein would have to get used to not having an attachment at night, which was a little bit more dangerous, but she trusted that Alice would be able to keep her safe. Just as she would with Alice, after all; this girl would be her holder for life.
Now, they sat together on the couch; watching the news and eating some spicy pasta that she made from scratch. "Alice..." Fein mutters, fidgeting with her feathers as she looks down. "Yeah, what's up?" Alice asks, looking away from the tv towards her kwami. Fein pauses for a moment, before letting out a sigh. "Look, I know I said no spoilers for your future, but I gotta look out for you. Do me a favor, would you?" Alice slowly nods at the Kwami's question, her eyebrows furrowed in slight worry. "Be careful with the new bug holder, and don't let her ever use me." Alice's eyes widened, before she slowly nodded in turn. "I promise." The little Kwami rushes forward and hugs the woman's face. "Thank you!" Alice chuckles and places a hand on top of her. "No problem, little one." As Fein pulls away, their attention is turned back to the tv, when the camera stops on a woman.
"In other news, famous model Adrien Agreste has decided to enroll in college, after being homeschooled his whole life; how will this affect him?!" Alice scoffs slightly as pictures of the model are shown on the screen. Sure, he was attractive alright, but he was probably a dick and he was going to be going to the same school as her. Fein, however, had a different look on her face as she stares at the screen. It was him! He would be the new cat holder, and Alice's... Fein blinked, her headed turning to and from the screen to Alice. Taking note of the woman's look of dislike on her face; this wouldn't do. No, she was going to work on Alice's attitude towards him. "So, you're starting college tomorrow, right?" Fein asks, looking towards Alice who throws her head back with a grunt. "Yeah, but I bet it's going to be crazy now that model boy will be there. I guess it's good though, cause people will be paying attention to him, not me." Fein nodded, looking back at the screen with a small smile.
"It'll be good, I promise." Alice hums lightly, her head turning towards Fein as another question pops up in her mind. "Hey, so how are the holders chosen?" Fein blinks for a moment, before speaking. "There is a guardian over all of the Kwami, and when he comes into contact with someone compatible with a certain Kwami, then he uses our magic to give us to them." Alice nods, humming once more. "So, like is it every era or century?" Fein shakes her head, "No, master sensed a dark energy manifesting and decided it would be best to bring us out now, give the holders a show around and then wait until the darkness comes." Alice scoffs, turning back towards the TV. It was kind of cowardly, she thought, why not just use the miraculous himself? Why did he throw other people in the way of danger?
"You know, you never asked."
"Asked what?"
"To transform."
"Hm, I didn't even think about it. Strangely, it didn't cross my mind. Would you like me too?" Alice asked Fein who gave the woman a small smile and nod. Alice grunts as she stands, stretching her arms up and popping her back; before turning to Fein. "Okay, Fein Wings Rise!" Closing her eyes, she feels a wave of magic rush over her as her clothes change and come heavy appears on her back. Opening her eyes, she quickly rushes to a mirror and takes in the sight. Her eyes widen; her normally tied up hair is now running down her back with two small braids on either side. Her body is covered in a skin tight orange suit with orange feathers on her back. Shifting slightly, they raise up, causing her to laugh in awe. She has an orange and white mask on, her hands were covered with two sets of gloves and she wore knee high boots to finish it up.
She shifts slightly, causing her hair to move back and reveal the earrings which go perfectly with her suit. She looked badass. As her eyes scanned over everything, she took note of the two poles sitting crisscross behind her back, just between her wings. She shifts, lifting her hands to pull the out. "Now, this is what I'm talking about." She twirls the twin batons together, and then slams them together on instinct. She gapes when they connect, seeming to have burned together to create a staff. Alice, moves away from the mirror to a more open location in her living room and starts to twirl it, getting the hang of it.
Only to groan when she smacks herself in the face with it.
"Gonna need to work on that, Fein Wings Fall." Another shine of light, and everything is gone with Fein back in front of her. "I gotta say, I looked totally badass." Fein and Alice laugh together as they move back towards the couch to watch tv once more. "Gotta get up early tomorrow for school." Alice mutters out to Fein who makes herself comfortable on Alice's shoulder.

Everything hurt, it hurt to move, to breathe. Sounds of someone crying filled her ears, "Please, don't leave me." His voice broke as a sob tore from his throat. Alice couldn't see him, but she felt him. "You can't, I won't be able to do this without you, Mon oiseau de fue." A cough ripped from her throat, drawing blood into her mouth; dripping out the corners. The arms wrapped around her, tightening as she whimpered in pain. Another cry rang out, this time from her as she tried to speak; white lights shining around them as her transformation ended. "It's ok, I'll be just fine." She finally managed to utter out, his own transformation ending. "I love you." She could finally see his eyes; a beautiful green that shined against the red dusty background. "I love you too, A..." Everything stopped, her hand falling as her body went limp within his arms. Another heartbreaking scream tore from his throat as he pulled her limp body against his and began to rock them both back and forth.
This wasn't supposed to happen, it was her fate; and yet, all because of her, he just lost the woman he loved in the most horrific way possible.

"Alice...Alice." Alice grunts slightly, gently swatting at the tiny Kwami that was pushing on her face. "You need to get up for school." Alice's eyes opened and she shot up at the Kwami's words. "School? School!" She shouts in horror, jumping off the couch and face planting the ground. Fein winced at the sound she made when she hit, "Ow, damnit." Alice grunts once more, before getting up and rushing to her room to get ready for her first day.
It doesn't take her long, but once she's done; she makes her way into the kitchen to grab a small bag of spicy candy for Fein. "Come on, little one. We've got a long day ahead of us." Fein excitedly flying to take shelter in her thick brown hair, settling on her neck. She lets out a small giggle at the feeling, but keeps moving towards the door. Pausing, she checks to make sure she has everything, before she makes her way out the door; locking it behind her. The weather was nice, sun shining; taking a deep breath, she gives herself a nod and then starts towards her new school.
It was about a ten minute walk, which wasn't bad; the people she passed were nice and the sights were beautiful. It was when she arrived that made her hesitant, it was a giant college, larger than anyone she had seen; students stood in various spots. Many reuniting and others greeting each other for the first time. She took notice of a blonde female yelling at an orange haired on with glasses. "Great, hope I don't have to deal with that." Alice mutters lowly, Fein letting out a small giggle from behind her hair. Her eyes moving towards another pair of girls, one with blue hair and the other with auburn; brown highlights running through it. They seemed to be meeting each other for the first time, the bell snaps her out of her daze. "Shit." She murmurs, making her way up the steps; following the other students inside.
It didn't take her long to find her classroom and take a seat towards the back row. More students begin piling in as the second bell rings, a woman makes her way inside with a smile as she scans over the students. Alice slumps slightly behind a bigger male, making sure to keep out of sight with the teacher. The last thing she wanted was to gain attention on the first day. "Nino, why don't you sit up front this year." Alice jumped slightly as the male across from her groans and makes his way up front. The teacher continues to resit students as she goes along, "Ah! Miss Alice Montgomery, there you are." Alice winces, before slowly standing up and shifting in her spot. Everyone was now looking at her, a few girls off to the side started speaking in lowered tones. "I like her outfit." It wasn't much, but it gave Alice a little boost of confidence as the teacher points to the chair behind the boy, Nino.
A blonde scoffs, slamming her hand down on the desk, Alice had just moved too. "That's my seat." She hissed towards the green eyed girl, "I'm sorry, I don't see your name on it; and I'm pretty sure the teacher just made this my seat." Alice snipped back, glaring right back at the girl. It was a stare down between the two, before the teacher sighs. "Chloe, find another place. There are plenty available." She huffs back a snarl, before turning to the girl across the row. "Move it, loser." The girl jumps up without hesitation causing Alice to scoff in disbelief. So, she was gonna be the queen bitch; Alice's eyes scanned over the other students, taking in the two girls from earlier sitting in front of the blonde and her orange haired friend.
"Now, then, everyone settled? For those of you who don't yet know me, I'm Miss. Bustier, I'll be your home teacher this year; while most of you have other classes on the roster such as fencing or art; I will be your main. So, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask." She gives the class a smile, Alice scoffs lightly under her breath. She didn't do much against the bullying, "Uh! Something is wrong!" Everyone turns to Chloe, who had her hands on the desk as she stared wide eyed at the teacher. "What is it?" The woman asks, cocking her head to the side. "Adrien is here! He's supposed to be here!" Everyone begins muttering under their breath at the girls words, the teacher just moving on with the class.
The rest of the first day passes by slowly, Alice taking various notes throughout the day; and getting to know her fellow classmates. She really bonded with Juleka, and her purple highlights. Class ends, everyone leaving as quick as they can; some students making their way towards their afternoon classes while others headed home. Alice's attention is turned toward two boys who are fighting, the bigger one taking ahold of the other's shirt, lifting him slightly off the ground. "Ivan!" Alice's eyes turn towards the teacher who had exited the classroom after her, her arms crossed and a glare on her face. "Go to the office, now!" Multiple people were watching now, some giggling at the expense of the teenage boy. He glares and balls up the note he held, shooting the other boy a dark look, he storms away.
Alice watches, feeling bad for the boy and worried about the sudden shift in negative emotions. A shiver runs down her spine as she makes her way towards her next class, stopping by her new locker to switch her books out. "Fein?" Alice mutters lowly, "Yes?" The Kwami asks, popping her little head out; but staying within her hair to keep hidden. "He's going to attract attention, isn't he?" Alice asks, shouting the locker and turning towards the office that now held the angry boy and the principle. "I'm afraid so, there's been a shift in energy and it's not going to be good." Alice sighs, turning away; making her way towards her class. "Guess, today will be my first day as a superhero, huh?" They both smile at each other, it would be ok; they had each other's back. "Have the other two been chosen?" She asks out loud as she enters the empty classroom. "Yes, they have and I can't wait to meet the new cat holder!" Fein exclaims as she flies out and does a spin in the air. Alice lets out a small laugh, "Careful, Fein. Don't get too excited, guys don't find that attractive." Alice gently mocks the bird who sticks her tongue out in response. "Please, I always play hard to get when Plagg is involved." Alice snorts, "Poor thing." She coos, taking a seat in the back as the bell rings once more. Fein expertly flies back into the thick locks of her hair as the students come wondering in.
It was more or less the same ones as in her first lesson; with a few gone off to other places, the exception being Ivan. Alice sighs once more, this was going to be a pain; school and superhero duties, a grunt escaping her lips. A loud boom breaks her out of her trance, students start shouting and running as the footsteps grow closer. "Kim!" Alice stands, her eyes wide in shock at the sight of the giant stone monster that just created a hole where the door should be. It didn't take a genius to figure out who Kim was; Alice backs up, the stone being not caring about the others rushing past him. He only wanted one thing, and that was revenge. When he doesn't see the boy, he takes off towards the window, creating another large whole and causing more panic. "That's gonna cost a fortune." Alice mumbles, Fein snorts in her hair; "What going on? That was Ivan's voice!"
She turns to see the blue haired girl and her friend standing beside her, when the hell did they get here? Alice watched as the auburn haired girl pulls out her phone with an excited look. "It's as if he's been transformed into a real life supervillain!" She utters out excitedly. "Um, that's not a good thing." Both girls turn towards Alice, "Of course it is! Where there is a supervillain, there'll be a superhero! GPS, Check; Battery, Check! I am so out of here." She moves to take off, the blue haired woman yelping in shock. "Hey, where are you going?"
"No way, I'm missing this!"
Alice and the bluenette slowly turn to face her with shocked looks on their faces; a moment of silence passes over them. "If she wants to get killed, that's on her." Alice speaks up, shrugging her shoulders as she turns to pack up her bag and leave the room. "Guess the first day of school is canceled. See ya." She gives the girl a back wave, making her way out of the room and the school.
However, the moment her feet hit the concrete; she took off in the same direction. "You're actually doing it?!" Fein asks, flying along side the running girl. "Of course, I am. I'm probably dumb as fuck for doing it, but that's why I was chosen, right?" She comes to a stop inside an alleyway. Fein nodding with her, "Good, now let's get this party started. Fein Flames Rise!"

By the time, Alice had made it to the scene; Stone Ivan had grown even bigger. "Son of a..." Her curse was interrupted, "Easy, belle. Such words shouldn't leave those gorgeous lips." Alice turns, her face flushing brightly at the sight of the hot blonde haired male in a skintight black cat suit. "Holy..." Her words are muffled against his finger as he gives her a wink. "I know, you don't have to gawk at me." She rolls her eyes as pushes the male's finger away from her lips. "Cute." She speaks dryly, the male licking his lips with a hum as he looks her up and down. "Come on, we've got a city to save." As her words leave her mouth, her body rotates and falls off the building they were currently on. His eyes widening in horror, "Wait!" His words are cut off when she flies up and floats in the air with a smirk; the breeze running through her hair, making her even more beautiful to him.
"What? Cat, got your tongue?"
"Haha." He replies dryly as she takes off, pulling out his baton and using it to follow after her. The baton, stretching out to long lengths; "I didn't even get your name, belle." He shouts after her, she spins back; floating beside him with a smile. "Cause, I didn't throw it." She winks again, their flirting broken by the sound of a scream. Alice's eyes widen as she swiftly moves to the side; out of the way of the flying bug woman, and right into the cat man. She winces slightly as they end up tangled together, hanging upside down. "Oof, that looked like it hurt." She slowly floats down towards the pair, "Sorry, kitten. I thought you would move." She moves down to help them untangle them from each other, "It's okay, belle." The moment he is out of the wire, he turns to her and grabs her hand; leaning down to kiss the back of it. "I'm Cat Noir." He smirks, his green eyes sending shivers down her spine and leaving her lower half in a puddle.
She was probably as red as her powers, "Phoenix." She utters out, and he pulls away; a cocky look on his face for flustering the beautiful woman. They both turn towards the other female, dressed in red with black spots; her eyes never leaving the Cat's face. Her cheeks as red as her suit as well, she waited, as if she was expecting him to do the same thing to her. "What's your name, bug?" He asks, a small smile on his lips; his attitude doing a complete 180, what can he say; he was a one woman kinda man. The woman he wanted, wasn't the red bug; but the gorgeous phoenix standing beside him.
"I'm...I...I'm madly clumsy." She laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck. Cat nods, "Well, clumsy; we have a supervillain to defeat." Cat replies; using his staff to bounce up into the sky to take off after the stone monster. Alice quickly follows behind him, leaving the red and black dressed female behind. The trio quickly make their way towards the monster, screams of people surrounding them. They all come to a stop, gapping in shock as the beast buries its fist into a building, causing it to shake and then crumble to the ground.
"Holy shit!" Alice exclaims in shock, Cat snorts slightly as the Bug scoffs at her words. "So, what's the plan?" Cat asks, his eyes training on Alice; failing to notice the monster move on. "For now, follow the giant rock monster." She replies, her wings flapping behind her as she pushes off the ground and follows. The other two hero's follow after her; the rock monster making its final stop at the top of the local soccer field. "Kim!" Alice winces at his should, "Who's the wimp, now?!" There are shouts of horror coming from inside the stadium. Ivan jumps down, quickly moving to try and catch Kim, who does a typical horror movie fall.
The only thing that stops Ivan from grabbing Kim was Cat's long baton as he lands between them. "Hey, it's not nice to pick on people smaller than you." Alice lands next to him, placing her arm on his shoulder as Kim runs away. "Kitty's got a point, two wrongs don't make a right." The stone man huffs and cocks his head, "I guess you're talking about yourselves." He snarls, swinging his arm back to get a hit in; Phoenix and Cat jumping out of the way. "I got this, belle." Cat winks towards Phoenix, jumping up to swing at the big man. "Wait, don't!" It was too late, he had already hit the monster; jumping over it and landing on his feet. As he turns, his eyes widen at the sight of Stoneheart growing even bigger.
"Oh."
"Yeah."
Stoneheart swings back towards Phoenix who jumps back, doing a backflip in the process. Cat Noir watches in awe, only to yelp slightly when the monster man picks up on of the goals and chunks it in his direction. "Where's our other friend?!" Cat Noir shouts towards Phoenix who points upwards. "Having second thoughts, it looks like." She responded, both hero's ending up right down the middle of the field; and in the line of fire. "Watch out!" Cat shouts, throwing himself against Phoenix to push her out of the way. They both roll out of the way as the ground trembles from the firsthand beating it was getting. "Hi." Cat Noir purrs out, a smirk falling back onto his lips as Phoenix takes in their position. She was currently laying on top of the black leather wrapped cat and it didn't help with the way he looked up at her. "Kitty, another time." Using her wings, she flies off him, a pout pulling onto his lips before he perks up as he fully takes in her words.
"Really?!" The heroes don't get to finish their conversation when they are both grabbed by the giant monster. Now, they were stuck, pressed together in his clenched fist. "If we get out of this, I'm going to kick you." Alice grumbles to the Cat, hissing slightly at the feeling of her wings being crushed. "Awe." He murmurs lowly, but he didn't blame her. He wasn't paying attention and distracted her in the process, "What are you waiting for, red bug lady?! The world is watching and your partners are in danger!" The duo turn their heads towards the auburn haired girl from before, "You've got to be kidding me." Alice mutters out, "You know her?" Cat asks, raising a brow in confusion. "Hardly, she's in my college class."
Her eyes widen at the accidental slip up with her other identity, Cat raising a brow; making sure to keep that information in the back of his mind for later.
He doesn't get a chance to respond, because the bug jumps off the roof; using her yo yo to wrap it around stone's legs. "Animal cruelty, how shameful." She pulls and the two heroes go flying. Phoenix makes quick work and spreads her wings, grabbing onto Cat's hand to keep him from landing on his ass or face. "Gotcha, kitty." He looks up at her with a smile, "Thought you were gonna kick my ass?" He shouts up at her, she raised a brow; and pauses in the air. "Do you want me to drop you?" His eyes widened, quickly shaking his head in horror. Phoenix laughs, before gently setting him down next to bug; landing herself down beside in as well. "So, what's the plan?" Phoenix asks, Bug ignores her question and turns to the Cat with a red face. "Sorry, it took so long Cat Noir."
"I guess I'm chopped liver."
"It's no worries, wonderbug. Mon oiseau de fue and I are going to go kick his rocky ass."
He moves to take off once more, but Phoenix pulls him back by his tail. He lets himself hang for a moment, before slowly turning to face her. He grabs his tail back, and starts to pet it gently; as if it really hurt him. "Incase, you didn't notice, he gets bigger and stronger with every physical attack, we have to try something different." Bug speaks up, placing her hands on her hips. "Kitty, what all did your kwami tell you?" Phoenix asks, raising a brow towards him. "Oh! I have a really cool one! Cataclysm!" He shouts, a flash of white passing over him, revealing his hand that practically vibrated with a dark energy. "Cool." Phoenix mutters, leaning in closer to see it better; but Cat pulls his hand back in horror. "No!" As he shouts the word, his hand touches the soccer goal and disintegrates the whole thing.
"Holy..." Phoenix breaths out in awe as Cat turns back to her with a small wince. "Yeah, whatever I touch is destroyed. Cat of destruction, sorry belle, didn't want you to get hurt." Phoenix's heart sores slightly at his words and the saddened look he had; instinctively she moves forward, placing her hand on his cheek. "It's okay, Kitty. I shouldn't have done that, thank you." She gives him a smile, he smiles back; leaning further into her hand causing a purr to rumble out of his chest. A throat is cleared behind them, "Great, now he only has five minutes before he transforms back. Thanks, Phoenix." Bug glares at the other female, crossing her arms with a frown. Phoenix rolls her eyes in response, "So, let's kick his ass before then." She returns, giving the bug a glare in response.
Stoneheart lets out another roar as he finally stands to his feet, "Took you long enough." Phoenix grumbles causing Cat to snort at her words. "Guess it's up to me, Lucky Charm!" Bug shouts, another white light shines and a wet suit drops into her hands causing her to gap at it with distaste. "Nice, power." Cat grumbles out, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Bug sighs, taking a quick look around; her eyes widening, before she turns to Phoenix. "Phoenix, I need that hose." Even if the girls don't like one another, both had a bigger responsibility as heroes; so Phoenix immediately nods. "Got it." Using her flight, she takes off towards the woman from earlier and the water hose. Landing, she grabs the end and begins unwrapping it. "Here, when we say so; turn it on." She demands to the woman, who nods in response.
Taking the hose, she flies it back to her partners, "Thanks, the akuma is in his right hand, he's kept it closed this whole time." Her two partners nod in agreement at her words as she begins to tie the hose to the suit; connecting the end to the inside. She takes her yo yo, turns to Cat with a smile. "Don't resist, trust me." He didn't get a chance to decide before she wraps it around his ankles, spinning him in a circle and throwing him towards the stone monster. "Cat! Hey, you can't just throw him around like that!" Phoenix yells after the bug as she jumps towards the stone.
"Catch me if you can." Phoenix's eyes widen at her plan, before she takes off as well. The stone being pausing in horror, he wouldn't be able to hold them all in one hand. So, he does exactly what she predicts; dropping the ball of paper to catch the bug. Phoenix lands right in front of it, "Alya, the tap!" Bug shouts towards the girl, Phoenix pauses, cocking her head slightly at the information.
Bug knew her, personally.
The hose is turned on, pushing Bug out of his hands; as she gets loose, she jumps off him and pulls Cat with her. Phoenix smiles as he does a backflip in the air, landing next to her. "Nice landing." She smiles, "Thanks, beautiful." He smirks back, the trio finally stand together as the stone monster roars one last time. "Easy, big guy. It's time for you to take a nap." Phoenix speaks, taking her boot and slamming it down on the hardened ball of paper.
Just like magic, the akuma flies out and the stone being goes back to who he was to begin with, Ivan. "What's going on, what am I doing here?" Cat turns to face Phoenix with a smile, only for it to fall when he takes in the woman's look. "Look, bug girl, wonderbug, or whatever you want to be called. Don't use Cat as bait, we are all partners, he's not your toy to swing around and play with; if you can't deal with that, then give your miraculous to someone who won't mistreat their partners." Phoenix snarls towards the girl, before throwing her wings out and taking off. Cat stares up at her retreating figure with a red face and awe in his eyes, "Oh, yeah. She's the love of my life." He gives bug a salute and then follows after her, leaving the red and black heroine gapping in shock and anger.
"Seriously, who does she think she is?!" Completely ignoring Alya who was running up to her, she too takes off back home.
This was so not how she expected things to go today. She thought that when Cat appeared, he would be flustered and all over her; but then Phoenix went and stole her thunder. Her kwami had said that the Cat holder and Bug holder always ended up together; that they were usually destined and this time should be no different.
She was clearly wrong.

Phoenix lands softly, "Wings Fall." She utters out, a flash of light shines and Fein flies in front of her with an excited look. "Did you see the new Cat holder! He already seems to like you, Plagg chose well." Alice laughs gently as she exits the alley, making sure she isn't being followed and heads back towards her home. The sun was already setting in the background, "Alice." Fein starts off, the brunette turning towards her with a raised brow. "Yeah? What's wrong?" She asks, the duo coming to a stop in front of her home. Pulling out her keys, she unlocks the door; making her way inside. "I don't think this fight is over, apparently Tikki didn't tell her holder everything." Alice groans at her words as she throws her keys on the counter and makes her way towards the fridge. "Let me guess, she has to purify the negative energy." Alice states, Fein nods back in approval.
"Ugh, guess it won't be long then." Alice utters, finishing off her glass of juice, then heads to her bedroom to take a nap.
"It's been a long day."
Fein watches her holder go upstairs to her bedroom, she waits for a moment, before following after her. When she enters the room, her little eyes widen at the sight of a small homemade bed next to hers on the dresser. "I figured you wouldn't want to sleep in the box, but if you want to sleep on one of the pillows, that's okay too." Alice shrugs slightly with a small blush, Fein giggles, rushing forward to hug her face. "Thank you." Fein pulls away and makes her way to her little bed, getting comfortable; the two females settle in for the night. Alice turns off the light after they get comfortable, she would deal with everything tomorrow.
"Night, Fein."
"Goodnight, Alice."

Alrighty guys, this is chapter one, I mostly wrote this all on my own and I can't believe how long I made it.
I hope you guys enjoyed, and get the concept within this chapter. They are all older, which means more flirting, more cussing, less childish bullshit; but definitely more drama.
I also wanted to give them a day to get to know their kwami's and their powers unlike in the show. I also wanted Phoenix to nip the fact that Ladybug uses Cat Noir as a punching bag in the bud, but it won't last long.
I also know that the first episode ends different, but I will add the extra stuff that's at the end of this episode to the script in the next one.
This one was already really long.
Also, the first episode is technically set on September 1st, but I'm gonna push it back a little to August 28th so I can set up Stormy Weather on September 1st, and the Bubbler will be on September 4th; which is Adrien's birthday in the show.
Oof.
Anyway, thank you all for the support!!
