Ch 7: Three Parts Of A Whole

Spadix woke up, stretching her aching shoulder and her worn out body, sitting up from Jin's arms, eyes roaming around for her clothes. During their affections last night, Jin had dominated her in a steamy slow sexual encounter, coaxing the flushed faunus to tell her everything she and Scarlet did while she was away as she teased and stroked every inch of Spadix's form and took her deeply, the pleasure she was put through was mentally intense and her body didn't fare much better. The dragon beside her rumbled, pulling her back down sleepily, "Not yet… a bit longer…"

She grinned, brushing talons along Jin's scalp enjoying the way she purred in response. She racked her eyes across the bare form of solid muscle clinging to her and shivered, leaning in and kissing along Jin's jaw, "Jin… I'm incredibly sore and you have once again left my skin… grimy. I desperately need a hot shower."

Jin just chuckled and nodded, getting up with a stretch. She pulled Spadix with her into the shower and helped the owl through some exercises for her shoulder and arm, staying well behaved for the sake of Spadix's body now worn out and in desperate need of a break from the horny alphas around her. It was taking a lot more getting used to than she thought after years of nothing to suddenly not one but two very confident and proud alphas interested in her small form. The hot water felt amazing on her sore body as Jin held her under it, eyes closing and face buried into Jin's body, letting out a soft content sigh as Jin massaged her shoulders and back, kissing along her hair and face sweetly.

She could sit in this moment forever really, absorbed in the calm sweet bliss of just being with Jin. Sure, the intimacy was nice, better than nice really, and very missed especially now that she was much older and more comfortable with the idea but she would always adore these moments the most. Moments where she was just loved with nothing else expected or desired. Still, these moments made Jin the most desirable to her but right now she just wanted a break and to forget the stress around herself she was trying to adjust to. It wasn't just that she was letting Scarlet in that was hard on her but also going from living alone for so long now to now living in a home with a somewhat broken yet still head strong, now two head strong, lovers and what could affectionately be called a live in man servant though he was as Jin said more like family than anything else even if he was quiet and kept to himself mostly.

Indi would probably be really happy for her. The woman had grown rather worried since Orion's passing about all the time Spadix spent alone, constantly trying to coax the bird to find friends or a life or even a new love life if possible. Though Spadix was convinced Indi would be rolling in her brain and screaming if she knew exactly what Spadix had found herself tangled in now. She let out a light chuckle thinking about it, picturing her close friend going pale with surprise and panicking at the situation, probably calling up Scarlet even to harass the fox for answers. It gained a hum from Jin who moved to glance down at her, Spadix just shaking her head amused, "It's nothing. I'm fine."

She wasn't about to ruin this moment by bringing up one of Jin's least favorite people in Spadix's life. Eventually, they would have to sit down and work through this as they all worked for the woman and she was still one of Spadix's closest friends but for now Spadix wasn't too worried about it. It had been a long time since she had the time to really spare to hang out with Indi outside of work anyway so there was plenty of time to work on that issue later and she was certain if she flexed her energy at Jin over it the dragon would easily cave. Even if Jin had an overwhelming beast, the woman seemed to have a weakness for her mates, clearly having some deep seated pleasure in bending to them.

It reminded Spadix of times when they were younger and Jin could find release just in pleasing her. Maybe the two things were tied together really, like some sort of pleasure in being a service dominant or something. She'd heard of such things but had never looked into it, too embarrassed even in her current years to learn much about things she wasn't indulging in. She could feel the water beginning to grow cooler on her skin as they stood, Jin nuzzling down into the mark on her body, whispering to the dragon softly, "We should get out before I freeze."

The groan of dissatisfaction could be heard but the water was turned off and the two climbed out, drying off. Anytime Jin had to let go she seemed displeased which only made Spadix's beast beam happily inside and her heart swell with love. She led Jin from the room down the hall, both stopping at the sight of Scarlet still asleep on the couch, shivering slightly in the chill of the winter morning air as the blanket barely gave much warmth, arm still draped over her eyes. Jin embraced Spadix tightly from behind, kissing her mark before moving around her silently, Spadix just watching her and leaning into the archway as Jin crept over to the slumbering fox.

Jin knelt down by Scarlet's head, leaning over her and rumbling as she brushed loose curls off her forehead and nuzzled the skin, her body heat very welcome to the cold fox, causing Scarlet to stir and whine softly, reaching out for her with her other arm absentmindedly. It was the first time Spadix truly got to see them together. It both hurt but also felt comforting. In a way, she was very glad someone kept Jin from drowning all this time and that someone had been able to give something to the tortured soul inside Scarlet. During their time together, Scarlet had hinted about some things in her youth that had led to her closed off heart and none of it sounded like anything anyone should ever go through, especially a teenager. IT had given Spadix a whole new outlook on Scarlet.

nimble fingers laced into blonde wild locks as the arm over her eyes shifted, body stretching out, pulling Jin close with a smirk, "mmm well good morning Beautiful. God you're so warm… it's so nice."

Jin just smiled, moving her hands to slide them along Scarlet's body down to her lower torso and hold her, nuzzling more of her face. The groan she let out was not a sexual one but to Spadix's surprise it was one of contentment. It was still hard to swallow to an extent but it melted her beast some, listening to the sounds of actual happiness inside a pain worn fox's soul and knowing she had helped bring this back to her by accepting her. She was however glad she couldn't see when her alphas' lips met due to the back of the couch. She wasn't quite ready to watch that yet, her beast bristled with a bit of jealousy at the sound though she resisted the urge to interfere, making her inner beast learn to adjust.

Jin's lips met Scarlet's happily, the fox holding her face close by the back of her scalp, a war of rumbling wagging back and forth between them until Jin relented and gave space to Scarlet's immoveable alpha energy, whining against her soft lips as a tremble raced down her spine at the sound and feel of Scarlet's flex towards her. The fox rolled to her stomach, watching Jin a moment before smirking, "You know, you owe me right? You left me here to care for someone who wouldn't even touch me. There's only so much satisfaction my own hand can bring me."

Jin groaned at the implication but shook her mind and beast from the temptation, "Later. Why don't you get up for now and we can all eat and figure out how to make everything work yea?"

Scarlet twirled a curl in her fingers watching Jin with taunting gleam in her eyes before shrugging, "Fine. But you can at least warm me up after breakfast right?"

As her finger moved to trace along Jin's jawline and neck slowly, Jin practically purred, causing Spadix to twitch and finally approach, unable to sit back any longer. Training her beast was a process after all. Jin just pulled away from the smirking faunus though difficult and once everyone ate they all found themselves back in the living room on the couch. Scarlet was seated to one side of Jin, draped in the blanket for now but her legs were dangling over the laps of the two others, Spadix curled up in Jin's body, brushing her hands along the smooth slender tan legs of the fox in both adoration of the supple skin but also in an attempt to help her warm up.

At first, everyone was just trying to set down some boundaries. They took time to discuss things they were ok with and things they weren't, Jin being sure to give Scarlet just as much inclusion in the conversation which actually made both her mates pleased for different reasons she was sure. The conversation seemed hardest on Spadix, who wasn't used to discussing such things to begin with yet along discussing them like this. It became clear that unless someone was working, no one wanted to be left out anymore in physical endeavors. It was clearly painful on Spadix and Scarlet equally and Jin was fine with figuring out how to balance that for them, excited at the new venture really even if it made Spadix turn crimson and fidget. This didn't include things like embraces or kisses or any of those affections. The two were happy to figure out sharing and even continuing to explore such things with each other. This more seemed to be strictly about sexual intimacy and bed at night, Scarlet not liking how much it actually hurt to just be left out on the couch like she was some sort of substitute rather than a loved one.

Hearing Scarlet admit that made Spadix swift a bit, sliding into the space between the two larger faunus and taking Scarlet's hand while leaning into Jin's warmth, eyes averted shyly. The attempt to comfort her didn't go unnoticed by Scarlet and her thumb caressed across the knuckles and talons sweetly with a smile. The two's time together had really helped immensely to bring them on a better level with one another, especially for Spadix and her beast, feeling way less threatened by the fox and more or less possessive as well now of her. Scarlet didn't mind for now. Spadix was the kind of shy yet spicy that easily tickled her fancy enough to happily allow such behavior.

The discussion of heats came up at a certain point, Spadix a bit worried due to Scarlet's anatomy but Jin brushed through the fluffy feathery hair and smiled, "I think you'll be alright. You don't want it but I will have a hard time resisting. She will have plenty to keep her occupied."

When Spadix frowned and Scarlet felt her beast flaring, the fox kissed her fingers, "Don't worry we will make sure no one ignores you."

It made Spadix's brain buzz a bit, overwhelmed with all the thoughts suddenly, quickly changing the subject. She was too sore for this conversation to get too hot under her collar with these two who could probably easily run circles around her with stamina and durability. It was unanimous that everyone wanted Scarlet to move back in. The last few things were sorted out before Scarlet headed out to grab her belongings. While the fox went to get her things, Spadix and Jin were standing in their room, Spadix organizing the massive room around easily to make space for the fox.

Jin glanced at her often enough for Spadix to glare, "What?"

"You really ok?" Jin asked as they moved a few things, splitting up how the room was set up to help make space for the fox though Scarlet didn't own much to begin with.

Spadix reached and pulled Jin's face to her own, kissing her gently before pressing her forehead into the dragon's, nuzzling across the scars, "I don't do things I don't want to. I never have. You of all people should know this. After all the years she has spent loving you when you probably didn't deserve it all the time, taking all the abuse from her family and her people, and all the pain she had been through before you, she deserves this. I want to see her happy. I can't really explain it, maybe it's because of you, maybe it's because in a way I can understand her, but I want her here, I want her happy, and I want her to be loved. She has more than earned it. Time has decided she belongs here too. I'm ok with it even if my beast isn't yet. For now, it can stay quiet and deal until it gets used to it."

She let go of Jin and tucked away some clothes, "Now can you stop asking and tip toeing around it? What have I told you about treating me like I'm fragile?"

Jin smirked, lightly chuckling as she folded her arms. When Scarlet got back, the two helped her settle in, making the fox melt a bit at their welcome to her. It was thankful Jin's bed was massive and would easily accommodate them all. When Scarlet moved to the room that used to belong to just her, she stopped in the doorway, staring at the bed, memories of years ago playing in her mind. Jin asking for her love, making her admit it outloud, a vulnerable set of hearts after a painful choice. She didn;'t even notice her grip on the frame until she felt Spadix tuck under her arm and gently brush against her side, looking up at her. Jin was watching from across the hall carefully.

The dragon knew why Scarlet was frozen there and she didn't really know what to say. That was the night she had marked Scarlet and things changed forever. It was the real beginning of a lot of struggling for the fox and hatred she had to endure in town, lectures from her family, angry glares from Jin's mom making her feel unwelcome, never able to tell Blake Scarlet had actually moved in and lived here with her. The start of poor choices she had to clean up after and stress she didn't deserve but took on anyway because her heart couldn't let go of the dragon who was selfishly keeping her tethered along by a scar on her skin.

Spadix didn't know all the details. It was something they didn't get to fully discuss while Jin was away as it was a bit much for either of them to unpack together yet but she could tell by the mood in the two that this place held some solemn significance. Scarlet felt the owl pressing close, "Scarlet… this room means something to you doesn't it?"

The fox sighed and gave a nod, closing her eyes to try to regain herself. Jin was looking at the floor, not willing to look up. She knew this was mostly her fault even if it wasn't quite that simple. Spadix rested her head into Scarlet, staring at the simple room. It was fairly plain, only a few pieces of clothing, a smaller bed, and some older gear in the room that Scarlet had long since upgraded from. The bed wasn't made but the sheets were clean. The closed curtains only added to the hanging negative feel in the air. She turned to glance up at the ache in those green eyes, distant, like it was old pain still being tended to, making her decision as she reached out, pulling the hand from the frame to drape it around herself and holding Scarlet's hand in her own.

She wanted to heal this pain like Scarlet had helped heal hers by motivating her to come back to Jin. Wanted to soothe that ache deep inside her that she knew Jin couldn't fix for the fox but maybe she could offer something beautiful and new that would spring life back into this dark corner of the two alphas' history as her forehead nestled into Scarlet, thumb careful across Scarlet's tense fingers, "I want to make our baby here… make it a nursery for it… if that's ok with you."

Scarlet let out a shuddered exhale, glancing down at the small faunus curled into her side, watching that thumb on her fingers. Jin was also looking at Spadix now. The two seemed to almost grasp at the chance to bring something sweet back to that bitter place in their past. Scarlet smiled, nodding with a glance back at Jin before leaning in to kiss the white hair, "I'd like that very much."

Everyone felt a sweep of calm now, relaxing. It made Spadix brim with a bit of pride that she could help these two heal from whatever was plaguing them here. She hoped to get them to explain one day but for now she just wanted all of them to heal. As they moved the few things to the right places and finished lunch, the three got settled with the small box, Spadix sitting on the coffee table in front of the two others on the couch watching her carefully as she explained it all to them. When she finished, she was squirming in her skin, nibbling on a talon nervously before looking up at them both.

Scarlet was watching with a grin and curiosity in her eyes while Jin seemed to be running over the information, both having already gotten the short version at least once from Spadix separately prior to now. Jin leaned back into the couch, feeling both pairs of eyes watching her as Scarlet's tail swayed inquisitively. No matter how clever the fox was, Jin had learned to read her through her curious tail and knew she was thinking deeply right now by the way it was flicking and swishing about in calculated, slow wafts back and forth. Scarlet leaned in, hands bracing on either side of Jin's hips as she grinned, lips close to her ear. Spadix strained to hear, expecting something profane to leave the fox the way she was smiling but blushed instead as Scarlet's words, watching Jin shiver and let out a deep breath, "I love you. Will this be ok this time?"

The little owl was sure that wasn't meant for her ears but hearing it all the same made her watch Jin more closely as the dragon reached up with a hand, grasping gently along Scarlet's cheek before sliding it along into her hair, Scarlet's eyes closing, a brief whisper returning, "I'm sorry I couldn't do it back then. But I promise I can now."

Spadix felt her inner beast screaming to separate them or butt in but she refused, instead busying herself with the box, averting her eyes from a moment the two clearly needed. Scarlet had told her all about what had happened before and Jin had already told her the harsh feelings she had endured. She swallowed down the jealousy and irritation deep inside her beast and forced it to behave as she calmed herself, glad to give them this peace personally though she still listened carefully, if anything to know when it was clear to reconnect with them.

Scarlet pressed in closer, closing her eyes as her face rested into the side of Jin's, beast rumbling softly, "It was always your choice. I'm not worried about what I want. I just can't watch you go through all that again. Especially not because of me."

Spadix bit down on her talon, closing her eyes tightly. Jin noticed her mate across from them briefly before nodding, humming softly and turning her head to press her forehead into Scarlet's, taking in a deep breath and smiling, "I'll be fine. Thanks for never giving up on me even when I was a mess."

The fox just smirked and nipped her before Jin nodded at Spadix and both of them grinned, each reaching a hand over and pulling the small faunus over, causing her eyes to fly open and a yelp to leave her. Her small body fell tightly between them as arms from both wrapped her into warmth and love, Jin nuzzling into her face as Scarlet tucked her under her chin, both rumbling. The soothing calm from Scarlet mixing with the impressive presence of Jin was intoxicating and wonderful to her, their scents a pleasant mixture from summer to fall the way the world smelled right at the cusp of when it shifted and she whined, tearing up and clung tightly to her only hopes, the box pressed into her chest in her embrace as she let them soothe her aching heart at what she could never truly have.

The two could tell she was still struggling with that, Jin could even feel her beast crying and grasping for hers, desperate and broken at the loss of something it wanted dearly. She placed sweet loving kisses across Spadix's face as Scarlet ran fingers through her hair, the silence so comfortable Spadix was weak, trembling and finally just falling into pieces, the room filling with her deep sobs as the small faunus balled up in the safety of the two, the most at home she had ever felt in her life, finally feeling safe enough to let it all go.

Not just the tears, but the deep seated pain and anguish and hatred and misery and betrayal and everything else it made her and her inner beast feel. Neither let her go, finding ways to help her the best they could as they gave her all the love and support they could, pain in both of them at her heart wrenching cries. They would stay with her as long as it took to help her start to heal. In a way, she had already given all of them everything needed to start over and find joy. Now they wanted her to have that too.
