Legacies and Lightning: Chapter 18
(1 day) after arriving in Kumo; Raikage Tower: With A and Hiruzen
A and Hiruzen were both sitting alone in the Raikage's office discussing everything from the chunin exams to the attempt to arrange a marriage between Yuui and a suitable candidate from Konoha.
"I have no idea how this can turn out" A said to Hiruzen who sat across from him "so far out of all the clan heirs from Konoha, Yuui said that only the Akimichi seems like a viable candidate from what that blonde boy told her". "Is he serious or is just telling her lies?" A asked and Hiruzen sighed.
"I wish I could say they were lies… but Naruto is being honest" Hiruzen said to A "Sasuke is antisocial and narcissistic, Shikamaru is lazy and unmotivated, Neji harbors hatred to Kumo for… obvious reasons".
A groaned at this and rubbed his temples "that was my father doing not Kumo's" A said "besides Konoha and other villages have done the exact same thing; I mean you're from the Sarutobi clan, your father did some horrific shit during the warning clan era".
"Trust me… I know" Hiruzen said as he remembered how monstrous his father Sasuke Sarutobi was "the Uchiha clan forgave the Senju clan but the Sarutobi clan; that goes to show how horrific out crimes were". Hiruzen cleared his throat and continued "anyway back to the suitors" he said getting back on topic "Shino is stoic and not used to socializing, Kiba brash and arrogant, leaving Choji who's a nice boy with a good heart the only real candidate".
"Well she stills needs to at least try with the others" A said leaning back and crossing his arms "I just hope her date tonight isn't a total shit show".
Raikage manor: With Naruto and Koyoi
Naruto was sitting in the Raikage manor and he felt out of place in the giant house; there was 3 floors and dozens of rooms, there were butlers and maids walking around and everything looked either expensive or old.
'Shit… I knew Yuui's family was loaded but this is ridiculous' Naruto thought as he looked around 'oh yeah'; Naruto snapped back to what he was doing and picked up a 100 Ryo coin and threw it in the middle for the table along with a pile of other coins. "I raise" Naruto said to Koyoi who sat across from him.
Naruto and Koyoi being the only boys were playing poker as they waited for Yuui and the other women to get done; Yuui was going on a date tonight with Sasuke, despite her protest. Naruto felt bad for her as he could not imagine how this was going to go; nor could he imagine a girl going on a date Sasuke for any other reason than to get money and fame.
As they waited they decided to play poker to pass the time; in the middle there were 5 cards, an ace of hearts, 2 threes (a diamond and a club), a king of hearts, a queen of hearts and.
"Full house" Naruto said as he dropped his 2 cards showing a three of hearts and a queen of clubs.
"Royal Flush" Koyoi said as he showed he had a jack and a ten of hearts and smiled at "I win".
"Damn… my hands are dog shit" Naruto said as he picked up the cards and began to shuffle while Koyoi began to gather up his winnings.
Suddenly a door opened up stairs and both boys looked over and saw Kurenai who had a smile on her face "ok boys; time to see the new Yuui" she said as she motioned around a corner.
Yuui and the other women walked from around the corner and down the stairs and when she reached the bottom both Naruto and Koyoi looked at her wide eyed.
Yuui was wearing a beautiful red dress that fit her perfectly, but sadly that's where everything ended; Yuui's long hair was done into a intricate bun that look out of place on her, she wore dark blue eye shadow that looked to heavily, blush that was unnecessary and she wore red lipstick that stood out like it was glowing.
Uzui, Anko, Kurenai, Mayui and Yakumo all stood behind her with only Kurenai having a smile while the others looked uneasy; Yuui had a frown on her face as she looked at both Naruto and Koyoi.
"So…" Yuui said her anger rising up "what do you boys think?"
"Ummm…" Naruto said not trying to insult Yuui; Naruto frankly thought that Yuui looked better without the make up but didn't want to hurt her feelings "you look… different". Yuui's scowled harder and Naruto gulped 'aw crap'.
"You look like a circus clown" Koyoi said being blunt and making everyone's eyes snap to the feminine man "I mean, oh my gosh, blush with your skin tone; it's totally unnecessary".
"I knew it" Yuui said as she turned around "I knew this whore paint looked bad; I'm wiping this shit off"; Yuui ascended the stairs with heavy stomps. "I always hated make up" Yuui said as she walked into a restroom and slammed the door.
"Oh thank god you said something" Uzui said letting out a breath "this is the first time she ever put on make up".
"And judging by how she looked… it's probably going to be the last time she wears any" Anko said with a chuckle "I told you Kurenai that make up was a bad idea".
"I thought she looked beautiful" Kurenai said "and make up for a woman is a requirement for a date".
"Usually it is" Mayui said "but you gotta understand that Yuui is basically a boy with tits and a vagina; she hates girlie crap, hell I'm surprised she's even wearing a dress". "I half expected her to go in jeans and a shirt" Mayui said.
"So she's essentially the exact opposite of Koyoi; who's basically a girl with a guys body" Naruto said and Koyoi looked at him.
"No, of course not" Koyoi said "I'm just a guy who likes to feel pretty; I like guys stuff too"; Koyoi got a smirk and spoke. "I happen to let you know that I have a membership at the local manga shop; I get ten percent off every purchase" Koyoi said and Naruto went wide eyed.
"Before I leave Kumo we need to go there; I wanna see what they have" Naruto said and Koyoi nodded.
A few minutes later Yuui came back down the stairs with her hair down and make up off "I feel so much better" Yuui said with a with a smile "alright, I'm meeting the Uchiha at noon which is in two hours". Yuui's smile vanished and she looked at Yakumo "is he really as bad as you guys say he is?" Yuui asked and Yakumo winced.
"Umm… maybe he's a better person than what we've seen?" Yakumo said unsure making Yuui feel dread.
"Oh god he's going to be a douche" Yuui groaned and making Naruto laugh.
"Well while you're out on a date with prince-not so-charming, I'm going to be hanging out with Koyoi here" Naruto said giving Koyoi a fist bump "we're having a guys day; I've spent nearly every day for the past four years with girls and I need some guy time". Yakumo opened her mouth but Naruto cut her off "and I don't mean training with Lee and Guys sensei" he said and Yakumo shut her mouth.
"Well lets get going then" Koyoi said as he hopped up and Naruto stood up as well "good luck Yuui; you're first date ever"; Koyoi pretended to shed a tear and wiped it away. "They grow up so fast" Koyoi said with a fake whimper; Yuui flipped him off and both he and Naruto laughed "not very lady like Yuui".
"Later guys; see you in a few hours" Naruto said as he and Koyoi began to walk away.
2 hours later at restaurant: With Yuui
Yuui was sitting in a kind of fancy restaurant waiting for Sasuke Uchiha to arrive for their date; Yuui was anxious as this was her first date ever and apparently the person she was suppose to meet was a total jerk according to what Naruto and the others told her.
'Ok Yuui, just be calm; just get through this date and go home' Yuui thought as she took a sip of her water.
"So are you the Raikage's daughter?" Said a voice to her side; Yuui turned and saw Sasuke standing there and immediately she knew this wasn't off to a good start. She was wearing a nice dress that was in tune with the atmosphere of the restaurant; meanwhile Sasuke was wearing his regular cloths as he didn't even bother dressing up.
Yuui looked at him and smiled "yes I am, my name is Yuui; you must be Sasuke right?" Yuui asked trying to be nice; Sasuke merely nodded and sat down across from her at the table. 'Ok Yuui, small talk, just like Kurenai and mom said' Yuui thought "so you're from the Konoha; hows your family doing back there?"
"My entire clan was murdered by my brother" Sasuke said with slight annoyance; Yuui mentally slapped herself as she completely forgot about that "but soon that'll be handled".
"Oh, how so?" Yuui asked trying to salvage the situation.
"One day I will kill my brother and restore the Uchiha clan" Sasuke said darkly and immediately Yuui got a bad feeling "and frankly this will help me exponentially". Yuui's eyes widened and Sasuke continued "if we were to marry I'd be able to get more training and jutsu to help me in my quest" he said "and afterwards I'd be able to restore my clan with you're help".
"Umm… my help?" Yuui asked not wanting to know what he was getting at.
"Making children of course" Sasuke said with a slight smirk "we're both from esteemed families and have powerful shinobi lineages; our bloodlines are in muddied and genetically superior to all the other plebeians in our villages".
"And what'll happen if I have kids; I'm a ninja of Kumo after all?" Yuui said as she felt her patience growing thin; Sasuke merely scoffed and spoke.
"You're going to have to raise the kids of course; I'm going to be busy with clan duties" Sasuke said like it was the most simplest thing in the world "besides once you come to Konoha you won't be a Kumo shinobi anymore; you'll have responsibilities for your new home". "Now what do you say we go to the Hokage and your father and-" Sasuke began until glass shattered.
Yuui was looking at him with a death glare and everyone in the restaurant was looking at them; Yuui who was holding her water glass crushed it out of anger and spoke.
"Give up being a shinobi, give up Kumo, become a baby factory for you?" Yuui said with barely controlled anger "We've only talked for three minutes and you want me to give up everything?"; Yuui stood up knocking over her chair and spoke in a loud voice. "There is no FUCKING way I'd agree to that" Yuui said as she began to storm out "This date is over; there's no way I'd marry a prick like you". Yuui reached the door and shouted "Naruto was right about you; you pompous asshole!" Yuui said before walking out the door.
Sasuke sat there insulted and fuming when a waiter walked over and spoke "sir" he said and Sasuke looked at him.
"What?" Sasuke said with barely controlled anger.
"That was Lady Yuui; the daughter of Kumo" the waiter said to him in a serious voice "get the fuck out of our restaurant; you're no longer welcome here".
……
Yuui was walking down the street with an angry look on her face as she weaved her way through the crowd 'fucking prick, he didn't even ask me a question about me; he just wants me to be a baby factory' she thought 'and take Kumo's jutsu, hell no; I'll tell daddy about this, there's no way he'd agree to that'. As the turned a corner she continued marching back to her house as her first date was a disaster from the start 'I hope Naruto is having fun, because I sure as shit am not having any' she thought.
Meanwhile: With Naruto and Koyoi
Naruto and Koyoi were both laying face down on massage tables getting full body massages by 2 masseuses; Naruto had a busty blonde haired woman while Koyoi had a large dark skinned muscular man. Naruto was completely naked with a towel only covering his lower half while Koyoi was also naked but had bandages covering his arms and upper chest
"Oh Kami this feels good" Naruto said in a relaxed voice as the woman massaged his shoulders "how can you afford this place; this looks expensive as hell?"
"My family owns it" Koyoi said with an equally relaxed voice "mother and father both own the majority of nail salons, hair salons and massage parlors in Kumo; I'm the first person in my family to be a ninja". "Although it was mostly due to my 'condition'" Koyoi said and Naruto turned his head and looked at him.
"Condition; is that why you have those bandages?" Naruto asked and Koyoi turned to look at him and nodded "what is it?"
Koyoi merely chuckled and spoke "you'll see soon enough" he said.
"Alright you two; you're massage is done" the woman said "now it's time for haircuts, a manscaping secession, dead skin removal and a exfoliating mud bath".
"Sounds awesome" Naruto said not knowing what any of that meant as he and Koyoi got up "I gotta say I was a little hesitant to do this because it seemed kinda girlie; but I have to say I'm enjoying this kind of thing".
Koyoi looked at him and smiled as they both put on robes "just because we're men doesn't mean we can't look our best" Koyoi said "a real man always should look clean and respectable for any occasion".
Both Naruto and Koyoi got up as they continued their 'boys day out'.
2 hours later: With Yuui, Anko, Kurenai, Yakumo and Mayui
Yuui was walking with the rest of the girls towards Koyoi's house as she and the others were looking for Naruto and Koyoi; Yuui was now wearing her regular cloths and was still fuming from her 'date' with Sasuke.
"Oh my god, he was such a prick; can you believe that shit?" Yuui said and Mayui spoke up.
"Yeah we can believe it because you've been saying the same thing for TWO damn hours" Mayui said and Yuui sighed.
"I'm sorry it's just… ughhhh" Yuui said groaning as she continued to walk; as they turned a corner they all saw a massive mansion that was even bigger than the Raikage manor "Koyoi and Naruto better be home by now".
Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo all went wide eyed "wait he lives here?" Anko said in shock and both Yuui and Koyoi nodded "what the hell does his family do for a living?"
"They own half of the beauty stuff in the village" Yuui said "I've been to their salon once to get my hair done; but I mostly just have my mom do it, that place was expensive as hell".
Mayui looked to Anko and the others and whispered "Koyoi's family makes Yuui's family look poor by comparison; trust me when I say that Koyoi is so rich he literally donates his mission money" she said.
"Donate to what?" Yakumo asked curious.
"I don't know… save the whales, homeless shelters, puppy and kitten shelters; he never told us" Mayui said "trust me when I say this; if it wasn't for his special ability he wouldn't even be a shinobi".
"Special ability?" Kurenai asked and both Yuui and Mayui looked at the group.
"Trust us when we say this… Koyoi is the 'muscle' of the group" Yuui said cryptically; Anko and the others became confused as Koyoi was the short and scrawny even compared to Yakumo who was not that physically well built.
As the group walked up to the mansion door Yuui rang the door bell; after a few minuted the door opened and a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed woman wearing a expensive pink silk kimono opened the door.
"OMG Yuui, Mayui, you stopped by for a visit; I wish I knew you'd be coming, I'd spruce the place up a bit" said the blonde woman as she reached out and hugged both girls "Koyoi and Naruto just came home and we're having lunch; please, come join us".
"Hello Mr. Hosoi" Yuui said giving Hosoi a hug back before turning around and speaking to the others "guys, this is Hosoi; Koyoi's father". Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo all had their jaws drop at how beautiful Hosoi was.
"What is up with all the pretty boys?" Anko said rubbing her temples.
"Why thank you honey" Hosoi said in a very feminine voice "and if I may say if I wasn't married I'd slap a ring on you right away". "Hehehehe… I'm just kidding; come in everyone" Hosoi said opening the door "we're having a fish hot pot with oysters and lobster tails".
"Oh boy food" Yuui said walking in excitedly "man… I was so pissed I forgot I was hungry"; Yuui and the others walked in and followed Hosoi to a large dining room where Naruto, Koyoi and a brunette woman sat at a table.
"Hey honey, you brought visitors" the woman said as she got up and walked over to them; the brunette kissed Hosoi before bowing for Yuui and Mayui "Yuui, ever so nice to see you; you too Mayui, always a pleasure. The woman then looked at Anko the others "hello there my name is Harui; nice to meet you all". Harui was a beautiful brown haired, green eyed woman wearing a purple silk Kimono much like her husband.
Anko and Kurenai were about to speak but Yakumo spoke up first "Umm… are you a woman or a man; at this point I have to ask to be sure?" Yakumo asked trying to not sound rude but Harui just laughed.
"I'm a woman dear" Harui said making Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo breath a sigh of relief "I know it's strange with both my husband and my son looking very flamboyant but believe me; we get looks of confusion… and also envy".
Hosoi chuckled and spoke "I had to break a lot of boys hearts when I told them the truth" he said making the others sweat drop "never mind that, please come in; I'll have the chef make some more tea for you all".
As Hosoi walked away Yuui and the others all sat down at the table with Yuui across form Naruto "hey Naruto how's- oh what the hell" Yuui said as she all the girls looked at Naruto wide eyed.
Naruto's wild and spiky hair was now neatly trimmed on the sides and he had his hair slicked back a little but still had some spikiness; his skin looked smooth and had a healthy shine to it and he frankly looked a lot better than he did this morning.
"Hey guys; look at me, a day out with Koyoi here and I'm a new man" Naruto said with a smile "who knew a day of manscaping and pampering could feel so good; now I know why Kurenai goes to those parlors and stuff".
"You went to the spa" Anko said wide eyed "you… Naruto… a boy… at a spa?"; Anko could not believe what she just heard and Kurenai secretly made a hand sign to see if she was in a genjutsu.
"Nothing wrong with a boy caring about his looks Ms. Anko" Koyoi said as he took a bite of his food and swallowing it "doesn't he look more presentable".
All the girls looking at him were speechless until Mayui spoke up "I'd totally bang him" Mayui said before Yuui, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo all looked at her with a death glare "I'm kidding… jeez; don't be so up tight".
"Well nice to hear you had a nice day" Yuui said as she grabbed a plate and chop sticks and reached into the pot taking out a small squid "my date was absolute dog shit".
"I'd told you" Naruto said as he took a bite of his food too "but hey, the next one can't be as bad as the one you just had".
The next day (at dusk); in the streets: With Naruto, Mayui, Anko and Koyoi
Naruto, Anko Mayui and Koyoi were all walking back to the Raikage manor wearing paint covered overalls after a day of fun hosted by Mayui.
"Wow, I never played paint ball before" Naruto said as he held up the slingshot he used for playing "that was so much fun; I wanna do that again before I leave".
"Yeah that was fun as hell" Anko said as she walked beside them "man I really wish they had a place like that back in Konoha".
"What can I say; I like out doors stuff" Mayui said as she walked with the group back to the Raikage manor "Yuui got me into it years ago; it sucks she wasn't able to come with us".
"I hope her date went well today; yesterday sounded like a nightmare" Koyoi said and the others nodded.
The group walked for another few minutes until reaching the Raikage manor; Mayui used her spare key to enter and upon entering they all walked to the living room to see if anyone was home.
Entering the living room they all saw Yuui wearing her regular clothes with Uzui, A, Kurenai, Anko and Yakumo by her side.
"Hey, you're back" Naruto said to Yuui who looked at him "how was the date?"
Yuui sat up and spoke "the bastard didn't even show up; I waited for two hours" Yuui said and Naruto and the others went wide eyed.
"No shit, he stood you up?" Anko said "who?"
"That lazy ass Nara, Naruto told me about" Yuui said "daddy told the Hokage to let him know so I can meet him; but he never came".
A looked at the group "what is it with your heirs in Konoha?" A said "two dates in two days and my precious baby girl had horrible experiences; first one was an asshole and now the second one flaked on her".
Naruto groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose "Shikamaru you idiot" Naruto said "I hope he gets a good chewing out for this".
"Can we go out for a little bit?" Yuui asked her friends "I want to forget the last two days of crap that fell on me".
"Sure thing Yuui" Koyoi said "how about we wash up and go for ice cream?"
"That sounds good" Yuui said "I'll show Naruto and Anko where the shower are at"; Yuui got up and led Naruto and the others away and A spoke.
"The Hokage better handle that boy; no one bails on my precious angel" A said and Kurenai spoke up.
"I'm sure lord Hokage is lecturing him right now" Kurenai said.
Meanwhile; in a hotel: With Shikamaru
Shikamaru was sleeping soundly in his bed not even waking up all day as the sun began to set; as he slept a puff of smoke erupted in the room and he fell out of bed.
"What the-" Shikamaru shouted before the smoke cleared and he felt his heart begin to race.
Yoshino Nara, his mother was standing there with an angry look on her face "you flaked on your arranged date; you stood up the Raikage's daughter?" Yoshino shouted.
"Mom, how did you get here; were in Kumo and-" Shikamaru began until Yoshino took off her sandal and slapped Shikamaru across the face with it.
"I was reverse summoned here by the Hokage to beat some sense into you" Yoshino shouted as she began hitting her son with her sandal.
This was the sight that Asuma and Choji walked in on and promptly backed up and closed the door.
"We should stay out of this" Asuma said to Choji as the sounds of Shikamaru's screams bled through the door "she's a very scary lady".
"Yeah… we should go" Choji said as they both jogged down the hall.
11 days later; Raikage Manor: With Yuui and Mayui
Both Yuui and Mayui were sitting on her bedroom playing a co-op video game on console as they tried to kill the time; over the past few days Yuui has been on more dates and most have ended in disaster.
Her date with Shino went nowhere since he hardly talked during their dinner; he was very awkward and quiet and Yuui felt uncomfortable around him.
The date with Neji was even worse as he was very vocal about his displeasure about the possibility of marriage to a Kumo Kunoichi; Yuui thought he was being an asshole but remembered that Kumo was responsible for killing his father.
Kiba on the other hand was constantly bragging about his strength and trying to be the 'alpha male'; the boiling point was when he suggested he and Yuui go back to his hotel room. Which ended horribly for him.
Flashback 5 days ago
Kiba and Yuui were both sitting at a table inside a crowded restaurant and Yuui was waiting for the date to end; not to her surprise anymore Naruto's summary of Kiba was spot on as he was acting like and an asshole.
"So Yuui" Kiba said looking at her with a smile "what do you say we leave this place and go back to my hotel and get to 'know each other' a little better"; Kiba gave her a wink and a smirk and Yuu finally reached her breaking point.
Yuui got a smile on her face and walked over to Kiba and leaned down to his ear.
"Fuck no you prick" Yuui whispered as she grabbed Kiba by the shirt and flung him across the room; Kiba shouted as he flew through the air until he crashed through a window and landed in the street out side "asshole".
Yuui reached into her pocket and pulled out a large wad of money and took out several large bills "here's for the window" she said as she placed the money down on the table and walked out with everyone looking at her surprised she just threw a boy through a window.
Flashback end
"Grrr…." Yuui growled out as she played with Mayui "out of all the dates I've been on only one wasn't horrible; and it was with that Akimichi boy". "Can you believe that crap?" Yuui said as she continued to play.
"Yeah you really don't have a wide pond to fish from" Mayui said as she continued playing "so are you picking Choji then?"
"I really don't have a choice; I mean he's the only candidate" Yuui said "but I don't like him; I mean he's a nice guy but… there's no spark there". Yuui paused the game and put down her controller and brought her knees to her chest and hugged them "this isn't what I thought I wanted" she said.
Mayui put down her controller and went over to her friend and wrapped her arm around her "well you don't have to do it if you don't want to; the Hokage and your dad will understand" she said and Yuui nodded. "I mean they both offered you a chance to back out if you want too… why do you keep doing it?" Mayui asked.
"I just don't want another conflict between us and Konoha" Yuui said "we've been at war three times in less that sixty years; I remember seeing all the ninja come back from the last war missing arms and legs or coming back in body bags". "Daddy tried to keep me away; but how can you when you see funerals every day" Yuui said "I just don't want it to happen again". "To be a shinobi is to sacrifice for your village; and I wish to be the Raikage one day" Yuui said "and the best way to serve my village is to bring peace; even if it comes at the cost of my happiness".
Mayui hearing this pursed her lips as she knew what Yuui meant; even through they were 6 or 7 at the time they still remembered the war between Konoha and Kumo.
Trying to change the subject Mayui spoke up "so what kind of guy do you want?" Mayui asked "like give me details".
Yuui brightened up slightly and spoke "I want him to be strong, brave, handsome of course and loving as hell" Yuui said and Mayui chuckled "I know it's stupid, I'm basically describing a fairytale prince". "No way Prince Charming is coming in riding a white horse to princess carry me to safety" Yuui said with a chuckle and Mayui chuckled as well.
"Yeah, there's no way that can happen; no one is that strong" Mayui said making Yuui look at her "I mean you weigh as much as Tonoi sensei; no way someone can princess carry your fat ass". Yuui pulled away and slapped her on the arm playfully.
"You jerk" Yuui said and Mayui began to laugh; Yuui began to laugh as well before getting up and turning off her console "come on, the exams are starting tomorrow; lets get some sleep".
Mayui nodded and both girls began to change into their pajamas "well hey, at least you got to see Naruto again after all these years" Mayui said and Yuui smiled at this "I guess best friends really are forever".
Yuui looked down at the friendship bracelet Naruto made her and smiled "they are" she said "no matter the time or distance, me and Naruto will always be friends". Yuui and Mayui both finished changing and began to get ready for bed.
Meanwhile; at a hotel: with Naruto
Naruto was in his lonely hotel room as he looked up at the ceiling as the moonlight entered through the open window.
'Tomorrow is the big day' Naruto thought as he got a smile on his face 'I finally get to show my stuff and prove how far I've come'. 'Me, Yuui, Yakumo, Mayui and Koyoi are all going to be competing together' Naruto smiled even wider at the thought as he'll be with his two old friends Yuui and Yakumo and his two new friends Koyoi and Mayui.
'No matter what, I'll make sure we all reach the end of the chunin exams together' Naruto thought as he turned to his side and closed his eyes 'better get some rest; got a big day tomorrow'.
The next morning (chunin exam start day); at the Raikage Manor: With Naruto, Anko, Kurenai and Yakumo
Naruto and his team were all waiting for Yuui and her team to come out so they can all head to the exams together; they didn't not have to wait long as the doors to the manor opened up and Yuui, Mayui, Koyoi and Tonoi all walked out of the mansion and walked down to Naruto and his team.
"'Sup Naruto" Yuui said giving him a fist bump "you ready to kick ass and take names?"
Naruto smiled and nodded "damn straight; I've been waiting for this" he said before looking at Yakumo "you excited to Yakumo?"
Yakumo nodded and spoke with vigor "I'm ready to win" Yakumo said and Kurenai smiled.
"I know you'll do well" Kurenai said patting her shoulder.
"I know you kiddies will do well in these exams" Tonoi said in his deep and stern voice "I have total faith in you all; go in there and beat those other teams so bad they have to go home in with their tails between their legs".
"Fuck yeah; beat them bitches into the ground" Anko cheered making everyone smile.
"Well what are we waiting for?" Naruto said as he turned around towards the village "lets go and win this thing!"
"To the Kumo academy we go" Yuui cheered as she began to lead Naruto, Yakumo, Koyoi and and Mayui towards the Kumo academy where the first stage of the chunin exams was about to take place.
