Harry looked himself over, and very promptly let out a snort.

He'd introduced Pansy to Muggle culture in Sixth Year, when they're started dating. Initially, she'd been very resistant to the idea of any and all things that didn't come from the Wizarding world. Even on their first few outings, she'd acted the part of a Pureblood Princess, snootily looking down at anything and everything Muggle.

Then he'd taken her to that old, classic restaurant along the sea and had her fed fish and chips done right. Salty, fresh and crisp; served on brown paper with a little packet of malt vinegar.

He reckoned it was then she'd fallen in love with him and taken a true liking to the Muggles.

He's been quite happy to let her continue in that vein. It was amusing watching her get so excited over new foods, and seeing her look so confused at the concept of using a microwave for the first time, or a remote for the television.

"Harry! You're not dressed yet? Granger and the others will soon be over!"

Harry looks up from his contemplation of his reflection in the mirror, and his mouth immediately goes dry.

Pansy was dressed as a vampire, with her teeth transfigured to show sharp fangs and a pair of black, bat-like wings attached to her back. Her hair had been pulled up and tied with a dark red bow. Her clothes were simple and consisted only of a pair of black high heels, a blood-red skirt, a tight-fitting black top with a large V-cut at the chest, and a short white jacket.

"You're to be the Werewolf to my Vampire, like that film portrayed." She cocked her hips to one side and summoned forth the outfit that'd been laid out on the bed. "I can help you dress if you want?"

The offer is accompanied by a very seductive grin, and Harry finds snickering. "Already getting into the part? Should I expect a bite tonight?"

Pansy laughs. "Not until after everybody's gone home. Now get your clothes on."

Harry snickered as he dressed. The pants were black, with a white shirt, and a black and brown suit-jacket. Pansy was quick to help him get his tie in order, and had the finishing touch of a small, fake, grey nose-cone, which she used to transform his face along with bits of hair that she had sprout from the cuffs of his shirt and the ends of his pants.

"There," Pansy gave a smile. "Now you look the part — wait." She gave him a wave, and his hair went up far as it could to form dog ears.

"Really? Dog ears?" Harry snorted.

"It's how they're supposed to look, and, it's cute." She tapped his nose and twirled, letting her skirt lift up a little to show off her thighs; she certainly seemed pale as a Vampire, and was probably using a bit of glamour to make her skin paler than it usually was. "Come on, I think I heard the Floo."

She danced away, all the grace and poise of a ballerina, and Harry was forced to shake his head.

Then he thudded on after her with heavy steps.

He had a vampire to hunt.

Hermione had arrived with Ron, the former equally as excited — and enforcing — about this Muggle-style costume party as Pansy had been, first. Only some few seconds later, Greengrass arrived with Tracey, the pair dressed in roughly matching outfits.

Greengrass was wearing a long, flowing dress and was going for the stereotypical image of a ghost, with a magic cast over her body to give herself the illusion of being transparent.

Tracey was going as a ghoul, with sharp teeth, red eyes and claws, her dress a little torn to show off her legs and arms. She'd even applied a few red stains on her skin, which Hermione had told him was the blood of her last meal.

He'd had to admit then, it was plain to see that all of them had certainly gotten very interested in the Muggle world and the culture surrounding it. Well, at least the Halloween party.

"Aww!" Tracey gushed as soon as she saw him and Pansy together, with a hand over her mouth. "Enemies to lovers. That's the best theme!"

Daphne seemed to float over to them, literally, and looked them over with a smile. "Harry, Pansy, thanks for inviting us. We brought candy from that Muggle shop — we didn't try and use Galleons this time."

Tracey giggled at the mention, and Hermione was snickering as well.

"Drinks? Food? There's plenty to eat and drink," Pansy announced since the bulk of their closest friends had arrived; she was the perfect hostess.

More than once she'd reminded him that she was 'born' to do this sort of thing.

Ron immediately made to get away from them, and when 'Mione sent him a look, he shrugged. "Drinks."

She sighed, and then followed.

Daphne, for her part, floated atop a seat and sent a look at the couple. "While they're drinking and we're waiting for Milly, why don't you tell us about that movie you saw?"

Harry grinned at the recollection; Pansy had wanted to see a proper scary film to get into the season, so he'd taken her to 'House on the Haunted Hill'... or something close to that. Merlin, it'd been hilarious watching her jump at the scares, and he'd gotten more than a few jolts out of the film himself.

But before he could say so much as a word, Pansy sent him the sweetest, most innocent smile, and Harry's brain promptly shut down. Beautiful and angelic as she might look, he knew trouble when he saw it.

Millicent had arrived with a Flint boy, her date that none had known about 'til their appearance nearly half an hour after the casual drinks and snacks had been taken to.

Neville and Hannah had come not long thereafter; Luna had been invited too, but she was out with her father on a venture in Scandinavia.

As soon as everybody was in attendance, Pansy had the faint music in the modified dining room — which was now a dance floor — come forth from the enchanted decorations. It was, as she described 'a Gothic tune meant to inspire fear and romance'. Really, it just sounded like some darker classical music.

"Dance with me." Pansy smiled as she stepped up to Harry; he swore he saw her eyes flash, and for a moment, he deeply desired to kiss her as a scent wafted into his nose.

One he recognised. "Enchanted perfume?" He snickered and leaned in closer, the scent surrounding him. "I don't think Vampires went to the Weasleys for help in seduction."

Pansy rolled her eyes and closed what remained of the distance between them, alternating between giving him pecks along his neck or nibbles, the two points of her fangs pricking his skin, but never truly biting. When she finally spoke, it was with a knowing, near-bratty tone of voice. "I know you're immune to the imperious. Whatever they might hope to make will do naught to y—"

He cut her off by letting the wolf she'd insisted he play, come out. With a growl, he grabbed her arms, pulled her in and kissed her; she let out a soft whimper, but quickly returned the kiss with a hungry fervour.

It only lasted for a fleeting few seconds, but it was enough to have the both of them pull back panting, their eyes taking in the other's features.

"You do want to stay at the party, right?" He whispered, his voice low.

Pansy arched a brow at him, the haughtiness doing little given how flushed her face was. "You think you could catch me? A vampire has greater speed, you know."

Harry chuckled and tightened his hold around her waist. "Maybe, but already got you, don't I?"

Pansy rolled her eyes, and turned, bringing his hands to her hips as the dance turned decidedly slower. "Only because I'm letting you."

"Is that so? Letting me, eh?"

He didn't get a chance to tease her more, as the song came to an end, and another took its place, one that had him blinking at the sound.

"Muggle rock music? Really, Pans?"

Pansy laughed, and turned in his arms, facing him once more. "I liked the beat — I imagine you wish the slower song could've lasted longer."

He saw Ron and 'Mione move to a table when it started, tucking themselves away in the darkness as they giggled and whispered.

Tracey and Daphne, on the other side, were grilling Milly while her boyfriend spoke with Neville and Hannah; he seemed better than any other Flint they'd met thus far.

Pansy seemed to catch on to what he desired, and he saw a smirk come forth.

Not so much as one word was said between them as Pansy shot forth with surprising speed, and Harry followed, chasing after her.

He was on the hunt.

They ran throughout the house, laughing and giggling, their friends long since left behind in the portion of their manor where the party was meant to take place.

Pansy was the first to run into a wall and stumble, her legs catching in the hem of her skirt, and Harry was fast to seize his opportunity.

"I've got you, vampire." He growled, grabbing her about the waist and lifting her into the air.

"Let me go, beast!" She snapped, though her voice was laced with giggles and laughter.

"Never," he said, spinning her around and bringing her against a wall, her legs dangling over the floor.

Pansy glared at him... 'til she struck, pressing a searing, hot kiss onto his lips, her own parted and inviting him to do what he wished.

They spent several minutes kissing, with hands running along sides and up backs. Harry broke the kiss with a hiss as a pair of fangs sunk into his bottom lip, and he drew back, only for Pansy to let out a whimper.

"That was mean." He licked his bottom lip, tasting the hint of copper on the tip of his tongue.

Pansy, on the other hand, gave him a very unapologetic grin and wiggled, trying to get down, or pull him closer; the latter was her goal, as Harry felt her legs wrap about his waist. "Harry~" Her voice was like a siren's song, and it had him leaning in close to her.

Only to press a teasing kiss to the edge of her jaw.

"No fair!" She whined, pouting.

Harry chuckled and shifted his head, pressing his lips against the base of her neck, feeling the soft and delicate skin there. Then he let out a breath, and pressed his lips closer, feeling the thrum of her pulse underneath his lips.

She let out a soft sigh and ran her hands up his sides. "Don't leave a mark, not until they leave. Tracey will tease me mercilessly, and Milly will never let it go. I can already hear the crass jokes they'll tell."

Slowly, and with a good deal of self-control, he pulled back and made to drop her; Pansy's legs tightened around his waist.

"I said don't leave a mark, not let me go. You're warm, and soft, an—" She squeaked. "Those hairy cuffs tickle."

"Whose fault is that?" He smirked and leaned back against the wall.

She pouted and crossed her arms, but otherwise, she said nothing and relaxed her hold on him.

He could still hear the faint thrum of the music playing in the other room, but now, it was of little importance.

He'd caught his prey, his vampire.

Pansy.

"You know, you are rather handsome as a werewolf. Very fitting. I like it a lot, a lot. Maybe we can do this again for your birthday?" She was as cheeky-sounding as ever.

Harry gave her hip a squeeze. "Let's get back to the others — biting later, remember?"

She gave him a wide grin and a slow, deliberate lick of her lips.

Princess or Vampire, she knew how to entice him.

And Harry… Well, just this time, he'd let the beast in him win out.

So with her legs wrapped around his waist and that look on her face, he moved further into the darkness of their house 'til the music and the noise of the party was far behind them.
