Chapter 1: A Butt Kicking New Beginning
Please Read and Review.
(Our Story opens on another Dark Night in a Mining Area populated by tons of Gabite who are busy with their task of mining the area. They were digging away using their strong claws to dig into the rocks around them. While down below them, other Gabite Miners were transporting the materials they already got their claws on through Mining Carts, moving down a cargo system. Once there, the working Gabite would transport them elsewhere. While Another group of Gabite would have the Materials pounded into gravel. It was extremely demanding and arduous work for all of them. One of the Working Gabite was pushing a Cart full of the Materials they were working with, before casually greeting one of its Co-Workers).
Gabite #2: Hey. (The Co-Worker greeted its Fellow Gabite responding with Telling him).
Gabite #1: Hey. (The First Gabite continues Pushing its cart when another Gabite greets him).
Gabite #3: Hey. (The Gabite receives a greeting back to him from the first one saying).
Gabite #1: Hey. (Then the Gabite greets another one of his Co-Workers saying to them). Hey.
Gabite #6: Hey.
(The First Gabite begins to push its Cart onto a platform as part of its job. The Gabite's Path had a row of Candles to light the way, but when it passed by a pair of them, they suddenly went out as the wind whistles, as it stopped moving. The Wind continues Whistling as more of the Candles lining the path for it began going out, one after another. Then the Gabite could not be sure, but it was sure that it could see something standing at the end of the path. But it was too dark for the Gabite to properly figure out who or what it was standing in distance. Then the Gabite heard a Growling coming from the thing it saw at the end of the Path, along with the sight of Glowing Red Eyes. This was enough to cause the Gabite to gasp in fear and horror before it lets out a piercing Scream that gets the attention of his fellow workers. Then the Gabite goes running away while screaming as it runs past his fellow workers who were confused as to what was going on, with one of them asking itself).
Gabite: Hmm?
(Then all the Gabite looked up to see that standing on a ledge that was overlooking the work area was the growling creature that caused the one Gabite to run away screaming in fear. What all the Gabite saw was an enormously powerful-looking Pokémon with a muscular build with long legs and long arms with large paws and claws. Its body and head have gray, black, and white fur, except for a yellow muzzle. The front of its pelt slightly resembles a traditional frog buttoned/braid buttoned hanging off ends on both front and back. The fur on its head is spikier and flares into a flowing white and black headband. The backs of the hands, its knuckles, and the tops of its feet are also white-colored. Finally, the fur on top of its head and on its legs flows up, while its headband flares upward and backward. Then the Creature announcing itself to all the onlooking Gabite present).
Creature: That is right. It is I, Urshifu, of the Single Strike Style. (One of the Gabite was in shock, as it said to himself, feeling fearful of the Unexpected Visitor).
Gabite: It cannot be. (Then Urshifu (Single Strike) growled before leaping into the air and landing on the ground where all the Gabite were. Before standing up and saying casually to them).
Urshifu (Single Strike): Now I have returned to take what is mine. Which is everything that is yours. (Then Urshifu (Single Strike) goes and grabs an empty mining cart before throwing it with complete ease at a nearby giant spinning wheel, damaging it severely enough to destroy it, while the Gabite there managed to avoid ending up caught in the Vicious attack. While all the other Gabite screamed in fear and horror as they gasped in fear of knowing just how dangerous Urshifu (Single Strike) truly was. Then Urshifu (Single Strike) grabbed a Flaming torch before dropping it into a Fire Pit, causing the flames to ignite even hotter than it already was, causing the flames to spread wildly, setting parts of their walkway on fire. All the Working Gabite scatter to avoid ending up caught in the flames while Urshifu (Single Strike) stands on top a ledge overlooking the work area and all the Gabite as he continued speaking to them). Let it be known from the highest mountain to the lowest valley that Urshifu lives, and no one will stand in his way. Not even the great Dragon Warrior.
(But then, one of the watching Gabite noticed that for a couple of seconds Urshifu (Single Strike)'s eyes turned Blue before going back to their normal Black Colored eyes. But the Gabite knew that they had more pressing issues than that. Such as how Urshifu (Single Strike), Snorlax's first enemy and his Evil Counterpart has returned from the dead and is now rampaging like the Lightning Bruiser who was known for being big and muscular while also being incredibly agile. And the one who let nothing gets in his way. Not armies, not arrows, not ballista bolts, not falling stalactites, not five of the greatest Kung-Fu warriors, not his own Master, and father. And even when he meets obstacles that should have permanently ended him, but then he keeps finding off-the-cuff solutions to overcome them and roar back into the fight with his Juggernaut Levels of Strength. The very same Urshifu (Single Strike) who was Master Urshifu (Rapid Strike)'s former pupil and a talented Kung Fu fighter who trained since his early age as a Kubfu left on the doorstep as an orphan. His Adoptive Father, Urshifu (Rapid Strike) recognized his natural talent for kung fu and told him he was destined for greatness as his greatest pupil. He trained all his life, building up his pride, with the expectation of becoming The Dragon warrior, this caused to grow up feeling that the only way anything he did mattered was if it made Urshifu (Rapid Strike) proud of him, all of which gave him a huge Inferiority Superiority Complex. He also felt that he no sense of his own worth, and that he believed everyone (from his birth family to Urshifu (Rapid Strike) and Zacian) had turned on him or abandoned him, that he felt everything he had learned and done had been for nothing, and that he ended up almost killing the one he had loved so much. But Master Zacian did not agree knowing that despite him being a resolute student who had Mastered the thousand scrolls of kung fu, he had no understanding of the spiritual and self-improving side of it, leading to him rebelling against the experts, and even injured his adoptive father when he tried to stop him from reaching the scroll in an act of a Chosen Wannabe, and then getting imprisoned for his troubles after Zacian paralyzed him. Urshifu was even willing to kill his adoptive father and mentor if it meant getting the Xenotome, the One who Used to Be a Sweet Kid had become a power-hungry monster. Twenty years later, Snorlax became The Dragon warrior and managed to defeat him, by sending him to the Spirit Realm while also being immune to his signature nerve strike attack to his layers of fat. With him having gone from an adorable cub, who unfortunately grew up egotistical and smug before turning evil, which was partly thanks to Urshifu (Rapid Strike) neglecting to teach him humility. Causing him to look down on everyone in his delusions of invincibility, refusing to accept blame for his wrongdoings, and eventually rejecting his mentor's heartfelt apology. But worse yet, even after Urshifu managed to read the Legendary Xenotome believing it can teach him "limitless power", he could not understand its message due to learning that the scroll is just a symbolic mirror, making everything he had been doing a Meaningless Villain Victory. And while he did not have an army or artillery like Lord Genesect, or mystical powers like Marshadow, him being a talented kung fu Master, made him singlehandedly pose a massive threat to the Valley, and be able to easily defeat all but anything in his way, simply using his own skills and strength. Suffice it to say, he was pure nightmare Fuel for all those who feared him, as the dreaded rogue kung fu Master that was so scary that an entire prison ends up built specifically to hold him. And once he broke free of his prison restraints, none of the S.P.D Space Control Delta Command Prison's defenses could stop him. And all he needed to escape it? A FEATHER. And once he escaped his acupuncture-tortoise-shell-straitjacket thing that sticks a couple dozen acupuncture needles into his body to keep him paralyzed, with a pair of ballistae trained on him at all times in case he so much as twitches, the Tailor-Made Prison carved out of a mountain that goes down for miles, proves to be utterly inadequate as he also managed to demolish the Prison's 1,000-strong army of heavily armed guards as a One-Man Army despite previously being chained down to a pair of massive boulders on a platform above a vast drop, and restrained for about twenty years effectively immobile. Not only that, but he also managed to defeat the entire Animarium Wild Force, Blaziken, Corviknight, Buzzwole, Dragonair, and Infernape, all by himself, even after they destroyed the bridge to the Valley, leaving Urshifu (Single Strike) bound in the bridge's rope on the other side before he came back again, all in the span of thirty seconds; and despite the Five giving him a couple serious blows, the Ace that he was not looking or sounding no worse for wear. And now, Urshifu (Single Strike) has returned! And he was going to make sure that no one who stop him this time!).
WELCOME TO: "MASTER FIGHTER BATTLES 4"!
(Meanwhile, at Watchog's restaurant, Watchog was looking extremely nervous and anxious for whatever reason. The Very Same Restaurant that he owns by family inheritance, which was when one of his ancestors won a bet on a game of mahjong. Watchog had inherited the Restaurant from his father, who had inherited it from his father, who had won it from a friend in a game of mahjong. And it was thanks to Snorlax's success that inspired him to pursue his own dream of serving Tofu in his own restaurant after Snorlax stopped Urshifu (Single Strike). But he was not alone as Snorlax's biological father, Ursaluna was with him. There were sounds of Laughing Children filling the air. But then Watchog cannot take it anymore as he asks aloud as he and Ursaluna stood in front of the Entrance to his Restaurant).
Watchog: Oh, where is Snorlax? He was supposed to be here hours ago. (Ursaluna goes to calm Watchog telling him).
Ursaluna: Watchog, will you please just relax? (But then Watchog tells him while sounding stressed...).
Watchog: But I am feeling... (But then he screams towards Ursaluna) relaxed! (Despite Watchog yelling at him just now, Ursaluna tries to reassure him that Snorlax is fine).
Ursaluna: Okay, I am sure Snorlax is fine. (But this does not seem to calm Watchog down one bit as he yells while running back and forth pacing all around the place).
Watchog: But what if he is sick? What if he ends up hurt? (Watchog then picks up and shakes a Bunnelby kid). What if he is hungry? (Ursaluna then comes over and gently takes the Bunnelby kid from Watchog's hands and gently sets him back on the ground).
Ursaluna: Do not get your noodles in a twist. If I knew our son, he surely is without a doubt just kicking back and catching a couple of rays.
(Watchog knew that deep down, Snorlax could keep him safe due to knowing Kung Fu. But Snorlax never would have become the Hero of Michina Town if he had not given Snorlax the Pep Talk to Snorlax about "secret noodle soup" which ended up giving Snorlax exactly the wisdom he needs to understand the scroll and the courage to face Urshifu (Single Strike) to save Urshifu (Rapid Strike). Or that his adoption of Snorlax ended up cementing that Michina Town would be safe from Urshifu (Single Strike), and that in doing so, he also unknowingly saved the survivor of brutal genocide, ensuring that Snorlax would be alive to face the perpetrator decades later. So, because of Watchog's virtues he was a hero in his own right. Watchog has always genuinely loved Snorlax as his own son and did not think twice about adopting him after no one showed up to claim him. Snorlax has the same amount of love and respect for his dad, Watchog and the two share an incredibly strong bond. Even though before he majorly hated Ursaluna at first, because he was worried that he would steal Snorlax from him. But when he found out that Ursaluna lied to Snorlax about knowing how to Master Chi to stop Marshadow, he comforts him when he had his Heroic BSoD Moment, telling him that they both lied to Snorlax about something (Watchog lied to Snorlax about him being his real father) and ceases his hostility towards Ursaluna ever since, no longer being Green-Eyed Monster towards him. Watchog could also remember when he was a well-meaning but ignorant dad who believed noodles are both his and Snorlax's lively hood. But When Snorlax admits to him his real love is kung fu, he felt saddened when Snorlax initially failed at seeing The Dragon Warrior choosing ceremony. And he then apologized to Snorlax since his dreams did not work out the way he hoped for when Snorlax was disappointed over the clear meaningless nature of the Xenotome. But then he Showed Snorlax that despite being just a humble noodle chef, his personal philosophies include at least two pieces of ultimate kung fu wisdom, the secret of the Xenotome and the path to inner peace, and he just developed them during his life while cooking food. And that he did not either need formal kung-fu training nor a common ancestry with anyone who does to do that. As he had always cared about Snorlax's happiness while he never once stopped believing in him, and that it is just that his noodle shop is all he really knows about because it was a multi-generation business. But Once Snorlax defeated Urshifu (Single Strike), he become incredibly supportive of Snorlax's real passions, and it stayed that way ever since. He just hoped that wherever his son was now, he was okay).
(Snorlax, meanwhile, was perfectly fine since he was doing what he does best. But he was not just catching Rays as Ursaluna predicted, but he was also... Kicking Butt! As he was running across the Dock, towards the edge when suddenly bursting from the water was a Whiscash. The Whiscash lunged for Snorlax to hit him with a Zen Headbutt attack. But Snorlax countered giving him a Powerful Mega Kick while shouting).
Snorlax: Kung fu! (The Mega Kick overpowered Whiscash's Zen Headbutt attack, sending it flying away as Snorlax landed back on the Dock). Whoa! (But then he went wide eyed when he saw the Whiscash come close to hitting him with its Double Edge Attack, having missed and instead hit the part of the Docks in front of him). That is bad. (Snorlax could see the Whiscash moving underneath the Waters below them. Before suddenly leaping and flying somehow through the air). Whoa! (Then Snorlax saw the Whiscash coming for him). Getting worse. (Whiscash came for Snorlax again with another Zen Headbutt attack. But Snorlax managed to dodge it in time, jumping onto a Pier to avoid having Whiscash's attack hit him). Whoa! (But Snorlax stumbled to keep his balance on the poles. Before managing to dodge another one of Whiscash's Zen Headbutt attacks). Ah. (Whiscash was not making it easy for Snorlax to avoid his attacks, as his onslaught of attacks had now left Snorlax with only pier left to use for Surviving). Come on! (Snorlax could see that Whiscash was once again moving beneath the waters as a Group of onlookers watched their Dragon Warrior in action. Suddenly, Whiscash jumped out of the water once again, as Snorlax watches on before seeing it come for him. Then Snorlax goes and confidently smiles as he uses the last remaining pier, he is on to launch himself towards the Whiscash head on with his Fist out, ready to strike in their bout of Midair Combat. With Snorlax hitting Whiscash first with a Mega Punch attack. The Whiscash tries to strike Snorlax with its Aqua Tail attack Multiple times, only for him to dodge every one of its attacks, before giving him a couple of powerful Brick Break attacks of its own. Then Snorlax goes and grabs onto the Whiscash's tail, before saying to it). Ha-ha! Okay, big guy. We really gonna need to wrap this up. (Then Snorlax began to show the Whiscash why it should Beware the Nice Ones, and even though it had lured him onto a dock so it would have both air and water supremacy as a Giant Flyer. Snorlax held on as the Whiscash continued gliding through the air, trying to throw Snorlax off its Tail, which looked to Backfire as Snorlax used its Tail to wrap around Whiscash like a rope. Causing its eyes to pop out the top of its head. Once Snorlax tied Whiscash up in its tail, he had then begin plummeting towards a still intact part of the Dock before they went sliding across the dock before finally coming to a stop. Then Snorlax gave Whiscash a Small Body Slam to force it to regurgitate a Kid it had eaten, sending it flying towards its Parent who catches while screaming happily).
Kid #1: Whee! (But then suddenly another kid went flying out of the Whiscash into the parent's arms).
Kid #2: Wahoo. (And then yet another Kid came out).
Kid #3: Booya. (As all three of them had been the Whiscash's stomach during the entirety of its fight with Snorlax (with no visible bulge on the outside), carrying them into the sky, underwater, and being skidded across a wooden dock, and yet they emerge at the end no worse for wear and consider the experience to have been rather fun. Then they along with everyone else began cheering happily for Snorlax).
Kid #1: Again, again!
Kid #2: That was fun.
Kid #3: Let us do that again. (Snorlax then chuckles as he says to the Silent Antagonist, Whiscash who Eats Babies and was the Starter Villain he ended up fighting on this day.
Snorlax: And next time, keep your surf off their turf. (The Kids keep cheering for their Dragon Warrior Hero. Indeed, Snorlax was very much enjoying his title of Dragon Warrior, and had no plans of giving it up any time soon).
