The final battle with Hawk Moth against Ladybug and Chat Noir; Chloe Bourgeois and Lila Rossi were helping Hawk Moth using the stolen Bee and Fox Miraculouses. The heroes managed to use their teamwork to their advantage as they knew that Chloe and Lila hated eachother and were only allies because of convenience and knew them well enough to set them against eachother so they were taken out of the fight and got their Miraculouses taken away.
It was a harder fight against Hawk Moth who managed to take the Miraculouses from Ladybug and Chat Noir; stunned reactions from the villains to see the true identities: Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrian Agreste. Hawk Moth began to the heroes' protests using the Miraculouses to summon Gummi the Kwami of Reality.
However Marinette and Adrien both managed to muster up the strength to use the reclaimed Miraculouses to tackle Hawk Moth before he could make the wish. However the defeated Chloe and Lila rushed to the Kwami and began arguing over who got to make the wish.
Lila thought of Adrien the stupid cat who was so judgemental of her and didn't know of the life that he was wasting; plus being a terrible excuse for a son to Gabriel and she acted more like a child to him than he ever could. She wanted his life and wanted him to suffer as a nobody like her who had to claw her way to the top.
Marinette thought of the self righteous brat Marinette who didn't know her place and always criticised her as if she could know how hard Chloe's life was. But she was the one who their class and many celebrities loved; the school sweetheart! It was infuriating! She wanted them to swap lives so that she could see how Marinette would abuse her connections more than anyone claims that she should.
They were continuing arguing as Gummi impatiently waited for the single wish to be made as they were both wishing over themselves. However they both then realised that the heroes had removed the Miraculous from Hawk Moth and were coming towards them.
Knowing that defeat was inevitable unless they did something; "I wish that we both get what we wished for and we get what we deserve and what that naïve Marinette gets what she deserves as well!"
Chloe was onboard for that as it turned out that goody two shoes Marinette as Ladybug was the one that they both hated the most... So the wish was made...
Marinette Dupain-Cheng straightened herself up as she overlooked her appearance; her favourite Jagged Stone shirt and she would blend right in. Hopefully she won't be noticed and if she did; then she won't make a scene as she had to make the best example as someone in her position.
She was waiting in line to get into the concert hall for the Jagged Stone concert being held there; she then looked behind her and sighed as she had to drag her best friend by the wrist who was too busy making rock and roll poses. The boy had his own rock and roll shirt and was going for a messy punk rock look with his hair.
"Now remember Adrien; don't make a scene... I don't think that your parents would be happy to have to bail you out..." Marinette said to her friend Adrien Grassette who waved her off.
"Come on... Do you really think that I would make a scene or spectacle of myself?" Adrien asked as Marinette shot him an 'are you serious?' look with her arms folded. "Still on about the pool party... As I have said before it was Kim's idea and I tried to not have it go out of hand..." Adrien then muttered as Marinette then noticed the line going down.
"It ended up on the news and you are lucky that my dad was willing to let you both do some work at the hotel instead of your families being fined." Marinette told him as she then got to the fornt of the line in front of the door and showed her ticket to be let in.
"Along with Kim being banned from the premises of the pool." Adrien said showing his own ticket and they then went in.
"That was more because of what he pulled during his work..." Marinette said looking behidn in in the dark loud concert hall and ended up bumping into a taller boy. "Oh sorry..." Marinette said jumping at the boy who smiled down at her.
"No worry... I can feel your song singing to me from your soul..." the boy the said with a smile that had Marinette in awe.
"Wow; smooth move guy... Like your style of flirting... Adrien Grassette..." Adrien said putting out a hand and Luka then smiled as he gave a hand.
"Pleasure to meet you; I'm Luka Couffaine... Are you friends?" Luka decided to ask as Marinette glared at Adrien.
"Soon to be ex-best friends if he keeps up..." Marinette said as her eyes widened. "Wait... Couffaine? Any relation to Juleka?" Marinette asked as Luka smiled.
"You know my sister? Are you the Marinette in her class... The one who helped her out of her shell and encouraged her hopes of being a model?" Luka asked as Marinette's eyes widened.
"So you're her brother... She speaks a lot of you... Plus it's no big deal; just wanting to be a good friend..." Marinette said with a smile as Adrien grinned. "Whatever you are thinking Grassette... Forget about it; right this instant!" Marinette warned him.
"If you're Marinette... You're the mayor's daughter? Plus your dad owns that hotel?" Luka asked as Marinette sighed.
"Please keep it down... I wanted to just be here as a Jagged Stone fan and not cause a scene... Don't like the attention when I just want to enjoy myself and I have to set an example..." Marinette whispered as Luka nodded understanding.
"I will leave you lovebirds to get to know eachother; I am going to the tables to see what i can find there..." Adrien said giving Marinette a wink as she groaned.
"Been stuck with him since I can remember... His dad is a family friend; the head pastry chef and runs his own independent fashion business... Helps me hone my own designs and... Adrien can be a lot... But still... He is always there in my corner to help me out... Always the first to my defence with..." Marinette explained to him as Luka frowned.
"Chloe... The girl who hates you and bullies those in your and Juleka's class... Including you two..." Luka asked as Marinette sighed.
"I feel kind of sorry for her as her mother wants to focus on her family with her husband while she is there with her dad... But still she never wants to take responsibility and just likes being mean... Still with what happened at the end of last semester... I hope that's the wake up call that she badly needed..." Marinette said as Luka continued frowning. "Let's not going into this and just enjoy the concert..." Marinette said as Luka smiled and nodded.
I am a huge fan of the Lament series by ChaoticNeutral/Nobodyfamousposts (AO3 and Tumblr pennames) and fics inspired by it. I have tried the Alya Lament but for this decided to combine Lila and Chloe's lament into one.
The title comes from the Violet song of the UK stage production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which I saw last year at the Edinburgh Playhouse with my brother and I loved the show. I also loved this song sequence (one of my favourites in the entire show and the serious competition to the song for the top spot for me is Don'cha Pinch Me Charlie) and why doesn't it have an official version?
