They were only a few white lies...

To some Lila Rossi had it all; a career as the top female teen model in Paris and a wealth influential family. Her mother was the ambassador of Italy and her father had run a fashion company. Her mother had been doing the duty of running her husband's company after his disappearance.

Well to some; Lila would have no reason to make up lies to extend her fame and popularity. But 'some' wouldn't understand what Lila was feeling... The fear that she would be a flavour of the month and her star would drop when the next big thing hit. She wanted to make herself more popular and famous; that she had known all these people...

That no one would stop talking about her!

She sure accomplished that...

Speaking away on live interviews and giving posts about stories with some big famous people that she didn't know. Disregarding anything her personal PR team were telling her.

Saying she was the secret girlfriend of a teen idol; he would be found on a private date with his girlfriend and people would end up harassing the girl over trying to put the moves on the guy. Driving the poor girl to tears and causing the idol to want for blood and angrily denounce Lila.

Her saying that she was responsible for moves and lyrics for various dancers and singers; her fans going towards them and calling them 'hacks' for taking credit for her work when they claim that that they came up with their work themselves.

Saying she was close to rock stars and certain rock stars were furious to be getting certain rumours and calls for investigations.

Slander lawsuits coming her way and then a video made viral; her at school being filmed without her knowledge. Another girl at the school being driven to tears as Lila was cruelly mocking her as said girl was the idol's girlfriend.

She was shrinking in her seat as she was being berated by her mother with the family lawyer in the room; being pulled from her school and being told what to say in very public retractions on a live interview and all of her posts. Setting the record straight and then making full public apologies as her mother was paying damages to people affected by her stories.

It wasn't her fault; it was her fame that corrupted her. If she wasn't so famous then she wouldn't have to lie to keep her star up...

Lila found the schoolwork dreadful especially as she was stuck with Chloe; no one to help do her schoolwork for her and trying to copy Chloe's work would be a waste of time. Lila doubted that Chloe had ever done any school work on her own in her entire time and that was plainfully obvious by how Chloe was struggling to do the assignment.

Lunch came and it seemed like a blessing; another chance to insert herself into the world of the school and her class. Hopefully to make up for the less than stellar second first impression.

Adrien and Marinette had seated themselves at a table with Alya sitting down; she made a show of coming up and flashed a smile asking "do you mind if I sit here..."

"Yes." Adrien said rather bluntly that took Lila by surprise. Marinette frowned but Lila gave him a smile.

"Yes... What?" Lila asked as Adrien gave him a flat look.

"Yes; I do mind if you sit here. I want nothing to do with you and I am sure that everyone else here agrees." Adrien said as they and the classmates coming to sit down then nodded and Lila was at a lost as they weren't even giving her a chance.

"Sorry Lila but... I have seen the video... You made the girl cry with that smile on her face..." Marinette forced herself to admit as Lila was speechless; what girl? What could have happened to make her so infamous before even coming here?

Wait... Her mother was really strict as if she was warning her not to stir up trouble... Again...

Lila went to another table and sat down; deciding to get some answers; she got out her phone to search her name up.

For the first time ever she regretted doing so...

Chloe was watching and found amusement in this; she remembered the scene from earlier in the classroom but she figured that Adrien would end up relenting to her. He always did; they were as close as close can be in the old universe and they would get along better him with Dupain-Cheng. Here they were both poorer off course Dupain-Cheng would be high and mighty and look down upon her poor Adrikins.

"Honestly... I took pity on Rossi by saying we could be friends earlier... How about we start anew Adrikins and I sit with you..." Chloe asked flashing Adrien her signature smile given to him. The ones at the table looked her as if she had lost it and then Adrien...

Started laughing.

After a few seconds he asked "oh wait... You're serious? Let me laugh even harder..."

Adrien did indeed laugh much harder and it looked like he would have fallen out of his chair if Marinette hadn't caught him. Chloe was at a lost; this stranger with his name and voice plus similar looks acted nothing like her Adrikins! How did the wish ruin him so badly?

"Chloe please; for your benefit leave us alone..." Marinette said sounding like she was pleading as Chloe was affronted by her daring to be like that with her! When she takes her down a peg...

"No Marinette... Let her... It would be the best start of a semester ever to see her being led out of the school by the police for breaking her probation." Adrien said looking rather cold at Chloe that had her lost for words.

Probation?

Her...

Never...

She never got a detention before in her life! She never done anything to warrant some sort of probation... What did Dupain-Cheng do with her resources to set her up or turn the school system against her for that?

"Just go Chloe... My parents were clear; you get no other chances after this one... All the fines that you caused your dad... Just let this end..." Marinette almost shouted out to Chloe that left her surprised and she then left and got to the table where there was Lila.

Like her 'friend' she looked up herself on her 'might as well be an antique' phone and...Public incidents with her being called a troublemaker and suspensions on her records. One of which was caused by her pulling the fire alarm during a presentation to their class Marinette's father and his own father to show their baking skills.

Looks like she tried to save their class even earlier... Caught by school's security cameras; since when did the school have those? Then a recent incident put her on strict probation.

This was a travesty and Lila looked miserable at finding the news like her; "Okay... This might be ridiculous; utterly ridiculous But we just have to bare through it and wait until the Akuma comes... Then we have our Miraculouses given to us and we can change our fortunes around..." Chloe whispered to Lila as that seemed to cheer her up.

"Okay... So who was the first one?" Lila asked as Chloe frowned at the question; besides being taken damsel by the brute for no good reason... She couldn't remember as she thinks it was one of the extras in her class...

Still all they had to do was wait...
