My idea of Bell entering Orario during the Dark times, it isn t a full Ero story, but there will be plenty of naughty stuff. Harem setting.

1. The Juggern(a)ut

Some things that happened were set in stone, no matter how the circumstances changed, these things would happen. Others weren´t and they would change when something was different. What was devastating for the fate of a certain, all female familia, could turn into something wonderful instead...at the same time become devastating for a certain ash haired magician with heterochromatic eyes.

But what and how would it happen? Time will tell.

Time...

Yes...

It was time...

What would happen if a certain someone was born a few years earlier? And when a certain tool used by an evil person was a bit older than it should be?

The time would tell.

"I promise to you, Aunty, I will become a fine man and the hero I want to be."

Bell Cranel got back up to his feet after he knelt in front of the small grave for a last time. He never really got to know his real mother, she died when he was still very young, then his grandfather took him in...Bell was quite surprised to find out later that his grandfather was actually the god Zeus.

Then, a few years ago, an unknown woman appeared at their door one evening. As it turned out, this woman was his aunt, the sister of his deceased mother. When she saw him, Alfia´s heart was taken. She only wanted to look at him once from up close, then return to Orario and help with the plan to bring Orario forward...but...Bell was just too cute...and the very image of Meteria, except for these cursed eyes.

Alfia decided to live with them, which made Bell insanely happy. Not only did he have the coolest of all grandfathers, he also finally had a mother figure. Zeus was fascinated to see how soft Alfia became over time, Bell let her become really motherly. To Zeus´ surprise, this "Mommy Energy" let Alfia live a few years more. After all the fighting she had done her entire life, she was able to live her last years peacefully.

She had no other choice but to accept Bell´s wish to become an adventurer and a hero, so she took it upon herself to train him after Zeus granted Bell his blessing. Over the years, Bell understood that Alfia was slowly dying, so he decided to enjoy the time with her as long as it lasted. She told him that it was already a miracle that she lived for so long and she was glad that she met him and could spend time with him.

Bell and Zeus were at her side when she finally passed away, while Bell couldn´t stop crying, Alfia had passed with a smile on her lips, telling Bell that she loved him and would watch over him from above.

What Bell couldn´t know, but Zeus guessed, Alfia´s soul was greeted by a familiar soul when she entered heaven, since she didn´t commit the sin she would have if Bell was born later. Alfia was finally able to hug her sister again, the god that took care of their souls, Hades, allowed them to watch over Bell for a while. A while in heaven meant years on the surface. Meteria´s husband wasn´t with them, Hades had imprisoned his soul for a while...for being too naughty for a soul.

The god of death called it, house arrest.

Alfia´s soul called it, the Horny Jail.

Bell waited one month after Alfia died, during this time, Zeus prepared the house, since he would travel around when Bell went to Orario.

Bell felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to his grandfather. Even with eighteen years of age now, he was still smaller than Zeus.

"Grandpa."

"It is as peacefull out here as it can be, Alfia will have her well earned rest here."

"Yeah, it is really beautiful out here."

They had followed Alfia´s wish and burried her ash on a small hill a bit away from the village, it was really quiet here, just like she liked it.

"Do you have everything packed?"

"I do."

"Then have a safe trip."

"You too, grandpa."

Both hugged each other before they parted ways.

His journey would finally begin.

And what a journey it would become.

It took Bell a while, but eventually he arrived at the gates of Orario. The city was bigger than he had imagined...and more glum than he thought. The guards eyed him when he came closer, wary of his every movement. Bell held his hands away from his two swords, that hang crosswise on his back. They were a gift from Alfia, as well as his armor...she really adored her cute nephew.

His armor was white, protected much of his body, but wasn´t a complete plate armor, Bell preferred a light fighting style.

Zeus told him that Orario was currently having a rough time, so the guards held their weapons ready. It wasn´t as bad as one and a half years ago, but still hard.

"Who are you?"

Bell smiled. "If that would put you more at ease, I am willing to put down my swords."

"Do that."

Bell carefully took off his travel cape, put it on the ground, then he placed the first sword in it´s scabbard on the cape, after that the second and then stepped away a few meters.

The guards relaxed a bit, but not too much, since it could be a trick. Bell saw smoke rising up in the city a bit away.

"To answer your question, my name is Bell Cranel, I want to become an adventurer and I don´t intend to do you any harm."

The guards looked a bit confused at each other, until a big, sturdy man with an impressive mask stepped out of the door, he came to visit the guards.

"Hashana, relax, the young man is speaking the truth."

"If you say so."

Bell smiled. "You must by Lord Ganesha."

He bowed slightly to show his respect.

"You know me, young man?"

"You are quite famous, even outside of Orario, Lord Ganesha."

The god grinned. "Mwahahaha! To be expected of me, Ganesha!"

At this point in time, Bell couldn´t know that he would hear the phrase "To be expected of me!" very often in the future, but not from Ganesha.

The god waved him closer and Bell followed the invitation, still keeping his hands away from his body to let the guards relax. Bell looked to the guards.

"Please, don´t touch my swords while I´m talking to Lord Ganesha, they are everything I have from my father and aunt."

Bell´s head jerked slightly forward after he spoke the last word, as if someone had hit the back of his head slightly.

"I mean my Aunty."

The guards nodded understanding, something like that was quite common.

Ganesha turned to Bell. "You said you wanted to become an adventurer?"

"Yes, it is my dream ever since I was a young boy, I´ve trained a lot for this."

"You are aware in what kind of state Orario is?"

Bell nodded with a serious face. "I heard about those that call themself Evilus."

"And you still want to come to Orario?"

"Yes, maybe I can do my part and help to make this city safe."

Ganesha smiled, he felt that everything Bell said was the truth.

"You said you trained a lot, but without a Falna that won´t do much."

Bell glanced to the guards.

"Lord Ganesha, may I talk in private to you for a moment? I swear I don´t have bad intentions and I don´t plan to bring any harm."

The god stepped a bit aside, then he listened to what Bell told him. Unseen by his followers, Ganesha´s eyes widened under his mask.

"The old man is still around and kicking?"

"Yes, he told me you´re a god that is trustworthy...will it be a problem?"

"Of course not."

Ganesha smiled. "Maybe it will help Orario to have the last captain of the Zeus familia here."

"I am not the captain..."

"You are the last member, that makes you the captain."

"If you say it like that."

"So you want to become an adventurer."

"And have a fateful encounter! In the best case in the dungeon! With a beautiful girl! While I rescue her!"

Ganesha started to laugh. "Ahahahaha! You really are one of Zeus´ boys!"

Bell wasn´t ashamed of his dream.

Ganesha leaned closer again. "But since you have his blessing on your back, you shouldn´t go to Loki or Freya, I would welcome you in my familia, but my children don´t have a dungeon party."

"Who would be the next strongest familia that goes into the dungeon?"

"Well..."

Bell slowly walked through the streets of Orario, the mood wasn´t really what he would call happy. Ganesha told him it was way worse in the past, but he should be careful since Evilus still wasn´t defeated.

The god told him also the perfect familia to go into the dungeon and help the city.

But...there was a small problem.

This familia normally didn´t recruit men.

What do I do now? Which familia should I ask?

Bell didn´t notice many of the gazes that were pointed at him while he walked towards the giant tower of Babel. Alfia had told him he was quite handsome, but she was his aunt, a mother figure, so there would be no surprise when she said that. Zeus had also told him he had the same handsome charm just as his grandfather had.

Many women on the streets noticed that. Bell indeed was a pretty handsome, young man. Since he was excited to register at the guild, he had a slight smirk on his lips, this only increased his natural charm.

In combination with his armor, the swords and the cape, Bell made a pretty heroic figure.

It was also this equipment that drew in many gazes. No one had ever seen this young man in Orario, yet his equipment made it obvious that he wasn´t some rooky adventurer.

Well as an adventurer he would be a rooky, but Alfia had trained him thoroughly and made sure he was strong.

I think the best thing would be to register first.

He couldn´t stop being amazed as he came closer to Babel.

It´s much bigger than I thought.

"Time to go in."

Bell went through one of the entrances into the enormous tower. It really was fascinating. But...something was missing.

"Eh?"

He looked around, there was no one from the guild here, no stalls or something like that.

"Eh? Shouldn´t it be here."

"Are you looking for something, young man?"

Bell turned around and his jaw dropped.

A woman was standing in front of him...but not just any woman. In Bell´s eyes, Alfia had been a true beauty, he had seen other beautiful women on his way to Babel, even a few elves, these were extreme beauties!

But...compared to this woman...they all looked dull.

Whatever her age was, the woman in front of him was at the absolute height of her feminine beauty, her face had even finer features than that of any elf he had seen. She had long, walnut-brown hair, which fell openly over her back. Bell never had seen such beautiful eyes, they had the indigo blue of the deep sea.

She wore a long, white dress of a kind that Bell had never seen. Her shoulders and upper part of her back were naked, as well as a good part of her breasts. The arms were covered in wide, white sleeves, which were frilly at the end. Her chest was covered to around sixty percent, a golden ornament sat in the middle of her breasts, with slight openings in the middle.

To his shame, Bell rememberred a word that Zeus told him, it was a kind of the famous "boob window"...but it didn´t look slutty or naughty at all!

Around her waist was a leather belt with golden borders, the cloth around her waist was blue, the rest white.

She looked very much like a virtuous noblewoman.

Never in his life had Bell seen a goddess with his own eyes, but the faint aura of divinity made it clear in the first moment.

The woman was definetely a goddess.

"Wow..."

"Young man?"

"So beautiful..."

"Hm?" She tilted her head slightly in a very cute way and smiled gently.

Bell snapped out of his state and rememberred his manners.

He bowed down. "I´m sorry! I was too fascinated for a moment by your beauty!"

The goddess giggled. "Ehe, it isn´t a problem."

She felt that he spoke the truth, which was pretty charming.

"It looks like you´re looking for something, may I help you find it?"

"Oh, y-yes! Thank you! I wanted to register to become an adventurer, I thought it would be done here at Babel."

The woman shook her head.

"No, you have to take the North-West-Main, this is where the guild is. Having guild employees here would make this place too crowded."

"Oh, that makes sense, I guess. Thank you so much, Mylady."

"Mylady?" She blinked surprised when Bell made a perfect bow in front of her.

"Was that wrong, Lady Goddess?"

"Oh? You can tell that I am a goddess?"

"I think so? You are so beautiful and feel so special, that I just thought "She is a goddess in any way!"."

The goddess chuckled and blushed slightly. "You certainly don´t hold back with your praises, young man."

"My Grandfather told me, the best way to make a woman happy is to praise her until she smiles. I have no other choice than to stick to his teachings."

"Then I hope he taught you well."

Bell smiled. "I think so."

He noticed that two female figures approached the goddess from each side. The first woman wore leather boots, black stockings, a third of her thighs were bare, then came a grey body, skin tight bodysuit. Around her waist started a blue cape, that went down to her feet. She also had a light blue jacket, which looked more like a west with long sleeves.

The young woman also wore a hood that covered her eyes, Bell could only see her nose and the mouth, at her hip hang a sword.

She positioned left to the goddess, it was obvious that they knew each other, maybe a member of her familia?

The other wore long leather boots, also short pants, a white shirt, long leather gloves that went over her ellbows and a long, green cape, she had her hood down, revealing one of the most beautiful women that Bell ever saw. She had long, blond hair, pointy ears and blue eyes, carrying a long, wooden sword on her back...truly a beauty.

Bell secretely had a thing for elves...especially female ones.

And thighs in general...

And...both women were quite well endowed.

Or with the words of Bell´s grandfather, both were a ten out of ten, with bombshell bodies. The chest of the goddess was bigger, but their bodies were just perfect in Bell´s eyes.

"So you´re new in Orario?"

"Yes, I just arrived today."

"You are aware that the city isn´t that safe?"

"I am aware thank you, but this is one of the reasons I came here. If there are people in trouble, maybe I can help."

"Do you already have a familia?"

"No, I will start to look after I went to the guild. The familia that would interest me the most doesn´t recruit men as it seems."

The companions of the goddess exchanged a short glance with each other.

"Do you mean the Artemis familia?"

"No, Mylady. The Astrea familia."

Now all three exchanged a glance with each other.

The goddess smiled. "Why are you interested in that familia? Is it because there are only women there?"

Bell shook his head. "No, my reason to be interested in them isn´t that. My Grandfather knows a bit about Orario and told me about various familias. For personal reasons I won´t go to the Loki or Freya familia to ask. I heard the Astrea familia goes into the dungeon, they are brave, strong and defend the city, that they represent justice."

"All that is true, young man. And the fact that there are so many young, pretty women in that familia leaves you cold?"

"I...would lie if I said it would leave me cold. B-But it isn´t my reason to wish to talk to this familia. Not that they would recruit me anyway."

The goddess chuckled.

"May I ask another question?"

"Of course."

"You said you want to become an adventurer, but your equipment looks rather fine and expensive for someone new."

"My swords are mementos from my father and my young aunty. The armor is something similar."

"Ah, heirlooms?"

"Yes, my aunty let me train hard for years to earn them."

The goddess looked up and down at Bell for a moment.

"You are quite trained, are you?"

"I...am...I reached level three before I started my journey to Orario."

All three looked shocked when he said that.

"You are level three? And you never went into the dungeon before?"

Bell smiled wryly. "My training was harsh."

"Hah."

Their friendly chat got interrupted when another young woman came from the stairs that led to the dungeon, she was a tanned werewolf, that waved towards them while she jogged.

"We´re baaaack!"

The goddess smiled towards Bell. "I must excuse myself now, young man. My familia returns from the dungeon. What you´re looking for is the guild building, use the west main street, you will find it fast."

Bell bowed down deep. "I thank you again, Mylady Goddess!"

The goddess chuckled. "Would you kindly tell me your name?"

"Bell. Bell Cranel."

"Bell Cranel, a good name."

She giggled slightly when Bell got red. "Th-Thank you. Th-Then I´m off, thank you again!"

The goddess watched with her two followers how Bell left Babel.

"An interesting young man."

The young woman on the right followed her eyes. "Level three without going into the dungeon, impressive."

The young woman on the left nodded. "He must´ve trained very hard."

"Indeed. Ryu, Ardee, come, let us greet the others."

""Yes, Lady Astrea.""

The three went towards the stairs, as a goddess Astrea wasn´t allowed to go further, but her familia came up now anyway. When they turned around, the hood of Ardee moved a bit, so she grabbed it to pull it down. Just for a tiny second it became visible that her right eye had a white color and there was a burn mark on her forehead and side of the nearly blind eye. Despite the old wound, Ardee always had a smile on her lips.

"Lady Astreaaaa! Ardee! Lion! We´re back!"

The red haired captain of the familia jogged happily towards them, followed by the familia.

"Here is your form, you have to fill out where the small stars are, everything else is optional."

"Thank you, Miss."

Bell was really fascinated by the young woman that worked at the guild stall, she was a werewolf with red hair.

He started to write down everything, the level was required, the former familia not...which was a good thing.

After he was done, the woman took up the form and looked at it.

"Level three? And I shall believe that?"

"I can´t force you to believe it, but I won´t show you my back."

"Do whatever you want, if it turns out to be false, a new familia that will take you in will punish you and kick you out anyway."

"I will keep it in mind. Am I allowed to go into the dungeon without having found a new familia? So that I can earn money?"

"The blessing of your old familia is still active?"

"It is."

"Which god makes a blessing so that you can change your familia at will?"

"I won´t answer that question too, Mylady."

"Mylady? Are you trying to flirt with me?"

"I don´t."

"Good. Relationships between guild members and adventurers aren´t allowed."

"But why?"

"You go to the dungeon and can die quickly. It could affect the work of an guild employee."

"Makes...sense, I guess."

"Do you need a dungeon adviser?"

"No, thank you. I know everything that there is to know down to the 28th floor. I hope I will find a familia soon, to go with them into the dungeon."

"Everything down to the 28th floor? Hard to believe, but it is your grave." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Ahm...why are you talking like that? I don´t intend to die."

"Experience. Many young adventurers run into the dungeon and think it is a nice place to play adventurer and become famous. They die all pretty fast."

"Then I will be different."

"Uhu, if you say so. By the way."

"Yes?"

"It would be nice if you could stop staring at my ears and tail."

"S-Sorry!"

"Never seen a werewolf before?"

"Not before today."

"Then burn that into your mind, it is extremely rude to stare at the ears and tails of beast people. If you would go further and try to touch them, I would chop your hands off."

"I would never do that!"

"Good. Anyway back to the point. You don´t want an adviser, fine. As long as your blessing is there, you can go into the dungeon, but try to find a familia soon, or else you won´t be able to update your status. Also, you will be banned from the dungeon if you don´t manage to do that within a week."

"What? Why?!"

"Because we need to know where you are, which familia you belong to."

"Oh."

"If we´re done here, get going, I have a lot to do."

"Alright...thank you, I guess."

"Mpf."

When Bell turned around to leave, he heard whispers behind him.

"Rose, you don´t need to be so harsh."

"Better be harsh and scare him away from the dungeon, than see another corpse getting carried out."

"Heh, so you do care for adventurers."

"Be quiet."

Two weeks went by...Bell couldn´t find a familia that was fitting his taste. And just as Rose said, he was banned from the dungeon now. Rose had explained it further to him, the guild had to keep an eye on the adventurers and that wasn´t possible when he wasn´t bound to a familia. Because of that, Bell stayed at an inn close to the guild hall. Because of that, he saw Rose every day on the street, but most of the time he moved around Orario. He had seen some awesome and interesting people. A red haired beauty with green eyes, she yelled out something about justice while she fought against ten robed people alone, Bell tried to come and help her, but she was done before he even got close.

A day later he saw a pink haired prum and a far eastern beauty, fighting against other people that looked like that, again they were done before he could come and help.

He also saw that goddess again from afar, she helped a few people that got wounded during an incident, while the two young women were with her again.

Bell slowly got a bit desparate, there were gods that saw him and even tried to recruit him, but somehow...he never had the right feeling.

He didn´t spend much money, but since he didn´t have a source of income anymore, it would run out at some point. Also, since he didn´t belong to a familia, smiths charged him more money to take care of his equipment, there was just a bit that Bell could do alone.

And since the inn didn´t have a bath, he could only wipe himself down in the courtyard. Bell always got red when he heard whistles from nearby houses. By chance, Rose too saw him one time while he only wore short pants, she got quite red and turned away. She didn´t get red because she liked him or was about to fall for him, but even with her twenty-three years, Rose was still a pure maiden without a boyfriend, she didn´t see nearly naked men often...especially such handsome, muscular ones.

"I need to find a familia soon..."

Again he went into the city, not noticing the shadowy figure that followed him in a distance, eyeing his every step. The figure was female, work dark clothes and a long katana on her back.

And on this day, something would be different.

Bell was close to the market place, the people here were quite nervous. While it wasn´t as bad as in the past, gathering many people in such a place was dangerous.

While he looked around for something to eat at dinner today, the air around him felt a bit weird. A few of the people on the market place acted...strange. They looked around like everyone else, but more like they were waiting for something.

An adventurers senses and perception were much sharper than that of a normal person, so Bell heard the sizzling sound before anyone else could.

There was no time to wait or think, his body reacted on his own.

In one moment he stood at a stall, in the next he exploded into an incredible fast movement, faster than a level three should be able to do.

He heard these sizzling sounds in the city before and knew what they meant.

The man that put down the enormous basket noticed that Bell dashed towards him, but he didn´t have time to react. Bell saw it in his eyes, the man was shocked...but only that he got found out too soon.

"GET DOWN!"

Bell´s fist collided with the man´s face, while he got thrown backwards, Bell grabbed the basket, screamed loud and threw it up into the air as high as he could, which was pretty high, because of his status.

Not risking anything, Bell aimed his hand up.

"FIREBOLT!"

The people already threw themself to the ground, his magic attack hit the basket and a big explosion occured. Those who still stood got thrown to the ground, except for him.

Even when the people didn´t know Bell´s magic, it was unlikely that it produced such an explosion.

Which could mean only one thing.

There was a bomb inside the basket.

Which meant...

"Eviluuuuus!"

Most people screamed in terror, but a few jumped up and drew weapons, charging at Bell or nearby people.

Bell´s hands flew to the hilts of his swords, then he became a white shade.

Not one member of Evilus stood a chance against Bell, but it wasn´t their goal to beat him, only to kill people and bring terror. So instead of deflecting every attack, Bell took a few blows while he went to defend the people.

A shadowy figure dashed down from one of the rooftops, drew a katana and attacked the Evilus members. Bell punched them down, the figure cut them down.

Soon, adventurers with masks on their faces and the emblem of Ganesha arrived, charged at the Evilus members.

It was a one sided battle, Bell only received a few shallow cuts.

"You didn´t kill any of them, only knocked them out."

Bell turned his face to the voice, it was a woman in a very skin tight ninja suit, she had long, black hair but her face was covered, he only saw purple eyes and her bloody katana.

"I have to admit, I am not used to kill people. Also, maybe someone wants to question them, it was more important for me to protect the people."

"That I saw, but you´re not against it that they get punished? I heard far more than one bone breaking from your punches."

"They deserve everything that will happen to them, they tried to kill the people here."

"And they would´ve done it if you didn´t react so fast."

The woman slashed with her katana through the air to get it free from blood. Then she slowly started to walk around Bell, she way she walked and swung her hips on purpose had something of a cat.

"I saw it more than enough times the last two weeks since I came to Orario."

He noticed that she eyed him from head to toe.

"You are a strong warrior, which familia do you belong to?"

"I am still looking for a familia."

"Oho~~~ Interesting."

With swinging hips, she stopped in front of him and sheathed her katana.

More people came running towards the market.

"Kaguya!"

"I´m here, captain."

Bell turned to the voice, it was the red haired woman he saw last week. Three women followed her, two humans and a dwarf, all of them armed, maybe they had patrolled the city?

"Maryuu, Ardee, go help the wounded."

""Understood!""

"Asta go with them, keep the eyes open."

The women nodded and went to work, they mixed soon with the members of the Ganesha familia.

Smiling bright, the red haired woman looked at the ninja, who now took her mask and hood off, revealing the far eastern beauty that Bell saw before.

"Good work, Kaguya. Report."

Kaguya shrugged her shoulders. "Wasn´t really me, captain. It was him. He spotted the bomb, detonated it to save the people, then attacked Evilus before I even got a chance to react. I just came down to help and clean up, then the Ganesha familia appeared already."

"They were closer to the market then we were, it was good that nothing happend."

"Lady Astrea?"

"With Lion. They are on their way."

One of the woman waved to the red haired one. "Captain, we´re done, no serious injuries."

"Phew...thank goodness."

Kaguya shook her head. "Not goodness, thank the delicious cutie pie here."

"Huh?" Bell blinked perplexed.

The red haired woman held a hand towards Bell. "I want to thank you for stepping in and protecting the people."

Bell took her hand and shook it, her eyes glew slightly when she felt a good, strong hand.

"It was the right thing to do."

She grinned. "We call it Justice. Name´s Alise Lovell by the way."

"Bell Cranel."

"Nice to meet you, Bell."

He smiled. "Since you just said Lady Astrea and your name is Alise Lovell, then I assume you are t-"

"The one and only, Astrea familia! With me, Alise Lovell, as their just, beautiful, humble and nice captain!"

"Aha..."

Kaguya smirked. "Don´t be surprised, Alise is just like that. My name is Gojouno Kaguya, vice captain."

Before Bell could answer, the incredible beautiful goddess that he had seen before appeared, accompanied by the elf.

"Lady Astrea, everything is okay. No one got hurt badly."

Astrea smiled. "That is good."

Alise put her arm around Bell´s shoulders as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Thanks to him. He spotted the bomb and did most of the work."

The goddess smiled to Bell, his heart jumped when she did that. "Then I really have to thank you, Bell Cranel."

"It was the right thing to do, I didn´t do it so that people thank me. It´s enough for me that they´re safe."

"You´re quite humble."

"Maybe, my young aunty raised me that way."

"Is that so?" She smiled.

Kaguya stepped towards her goddess. "Lady Astrea, I´m done with my report."

"And?"

She grinned. "He is everything that you hoped he would be and more. As you wished I followed him for the last week."

"Is he worthy?"

"Absolutely worthy of Justice."

Bell looked confused. "Worthy of Justice?"

Astrea smiled. "I´m sorry if I forgot to mention my name at our first meeting. Young Bell, you are still without a familia in Orario, correct?"

"That is correct."

The goddess chuckled, it was music in his ears. "Then...I would like to formally invite you to join my familia."

The young elf next to Astrea looked a bit shocked when she heard that.

Bell blinked perplexed. "Eh? I...I mean...I thought...you only invite...women?"

Kaguya snorted. "Lady?"

"My children spotted you a few times after we met by chance at Babel, you always wanted to help but was too late, a few other times they saw you helping people. Then I decided to let Kaguya have a look at you, to see if you are what I hoped for."

"Or to see if I am a threat?"

Astrea shook her head. "No, I know you wouldn´t be one. As a goddess I can tell when people are lying and you were completely honest. So...what do you say?"

Alise squeezed his shoulders slightly and grinned, showing him a thumbs up.

"Would it really be okay for me to join you?"

"Why wouldn´t it? You have an upright, honest, fine character."

Kaguya grinned. "And a hot body."

Ryu shouted. "Kaguya!"

"What? It is true. I saw him half naked, quite delicious."

"Kaguya!" Ryu got extremely flustered now.

"Mmh..." Bell got equally red.

Astrea looked a bit unhappy at Kaguya. "Kaguya, that isn´t nice."

"Sorry, sorry."

Kaguya´s smirk said she didn´t feel bad at all.

Astrea sighed. "I´m sorry, Bell. Kaguya is just like that. So...what do you say?"

"I would have to tell you something important first."

"And what would that be?"

"May we talk in private for a moment?"

The goddess smiled gently. "Of course. Girls, I will talk with him for a moment, no eavesdropping."

They nodded and left Bell and Astrea alone.

When they were far away enough to not hear them, Alise and the others waited, looking at their goddess.

"I wonder what he is telling her."

"Who knows."

"Alise, we shouldn´t speculate, if it will be something for us to know, he will tell us later."

Kaguya grinned. "Bet he´s telling her how big he is."

"Kaguya! That´s filthy!"

"I was talking about his body height. What did you think I was talking about, you naughty elf?"

Alise shrugged her shoulders. "Whatever it is, to think we would get the first guy into the familia."

They saw that Astrea looked a bit shocked, while Bell waited for a further reaction.

"Hm...now I really wonder what he told her."

"Yeah, yeah."

Astrea smiled and said something to Bell, he smiled relieved.

Then both walked towards the others.

"So, Bell, what do you say now?"

"If you really are okay with me joining."

"I wouldn´t ask you if that weren´t the case."

Bell slowly got down to one knee and knelt like that in front of Astrea, the goddess blushed surprised.

"Then I will accept your invitation, Mylady. And swear my loyalty to you and the members of the familia."

Astrea was very touched by the gesture. She raised her hand to put it on Bells head, but he misunderstood. Bell took her hand before she could touch his head, then he kissed the back of her hand.

"NAH!" Ryu jerked up when she saw that.

"Oh my!" Astrea blushed even stronger.

""Woah!"" Alise and Kaguya whistled.

"My loyalty is yours, Mylady."

A few screams came from the market when the members of the Astrea familia saw what Bell did to their...now very red...goddess.

The patrol through the city continued for the biggest part of the day, receiving Astrea´s blessing had to wait until evening came.

Bell accompanied Astrea for most of the day, together with Ryu and Ardee, so he got to know both a bit. When they were close to the guild, Astrea told them to follow her.

Even when he didn´t have her blessing right now, they could still register him as her follower, since it would happen this evening anyway.

Bell had to admit...how Rose´s expression slipped was cute.

"HAH?! You´re joining the Astrea familia?! A man?!"

"Ahm...yes?"

"Hah..."

Astrea giggled. "I know it seems a bit...unusual. But I want to register him as one of my followers now."

"Guess it´s your choice, Lady Astrea."

"I would welcome you too, Rose. If you ever want to become an adventurer."

"Pass. But thank you."

Rose filled out the form. "With that, your ban from the dungeon is gone."

"Thank you for everything so far, Lady Fannett."

She sighed. "I told you to drop it with Lady, Miss is enough."

"Understood, Miss Fannett."

"Finally..."

Astrea giggled. "So you already became friends with Rose? Is she your adviser?"

Rose shrugged her shoulders. "We aren´t friends and this young man here is sooo mighty and strong that he doesn´t want an adviser."

Astrea shook her head. "Bell, this isn´t good. Even when we´re an experienced familia and will show you most of the things, you should take an adviser."

"Alright, if you say so. Miss Fannett, could I take you?"

"Could you not phrase it like that?"

"Huh?"

"Nothing. Well I guess I won´t have much work with you, so why not."

Bell smiled brightly. "Thank you so much, Lady Fannett."

"I told you to drop it with the "Lady"!"

Astrea chuckled, as did Ardee, even Ryu´s lips twitched slightly.

And just like that, Rose sealed her fate without knowing it. Over time she would have a very good relationship with Bell, he would still often let her sigh, be worried, sometimes chuckle and laugh...and much later...sometimes...moan.

When the early evening came, Bell arrived at the home of his new familia, together with Astrea, Ardee and Ryu.

"Ryu, Ardee, can you two go inside and gather everyone in the living room?"

""Yes.""

When both got inside, Astrea turned to Bell.

"So, I think it is the best to expect that things will get a bit loud now, not all of them know that you will join us, you have seen only half of the familia so far."

"Could one of them be against it?"

"I doubt it. They´re all good girls. But there is something that you have to be aware of."

"And that would be?"

"They don´t have much contact with men, except when we fight together with another familia. Not one of them has a boyfriend or something similar. So it could be that some of them behave a bit weird sometimes, okay?"

"I will keep it in mind."

"Good, then let us go."

"Welcome back, Lady Astrea."

"Did everything go well, Lady Astrea?"

"Would you like to eat something?"

"Or would you like a bath first?"

Bell waited outside of the living room, where the others couldn´t see him, Astrea had asked him to wait for a moment. The house looked really nice, with the large garden around it, there were many white flowers in various places.

Oh, I get now why she called it Stardust Garden.

It wasn´t unusual for Astrea that her followers were all over her and offered her help or things to relax, all of them really adored their goddess.

Alise moved to the side of her goddess. "Everyone, gather. Lady Astrea has something to tell us."

Most of the members did as Alise told them, only one walked further into the house to get two members that weren´t in the living room at the moment. It was good that the living room was so big, since twelf people were part of Astrea´s Familia...actually thirteen now.

When all sat down, Alise remained standing as it was her right as the captain. It wasn´t exactly about standing, but like this she was the closest to her goddess.

"So everyone, thank you for your warm welcome back. I´m happy to see that you are all uninjured from the patrols. Kaguya, I´m proud of you and thankfull, for fulfilling your job without even the tiniest mistake."

"You flatter me, Lady Astrea."

The goddess shook her head. "Mhmh, praise where credit is du, and I´m really proud of my Vice Captain."

It took a moment to greet them all, she always took her time with that.

"So, my girls. There is something I want to announce to you."

They were all ears, when Astrea called them "my girls" there were always interesting news, mostly about new members.

"This evening, I want to welcome a new member for our Familia."

"A new member? How exciting!"

"Hey Lion, now you won´t be our little one anymore!"

"I told you to not call me that!"

"Heh, a new member? I wonder who that is."

"Which girl catched your eye this time, Lady Astrea."

Astrea giggled over the excitement of her followers. "Alise already met him and approved too."

"Oh in that cas-...him!?"

"Him?!"

"What?!"

The goddess turned slightly to the side. "Would you please come in?"

"E-Excuse me."

Bell walked a bit nervous into the living room. In front of him sat eleven pretty, young women, Alise stood on the side. It was hard to say who was more surprised.

"Eeeeeh!? A man?"

"What?! A man?"

"Lady Astrea!?"

"Oh my, can´t get enough how handsome he is."

"Phew, quite the looker."

"A M-M-Man?!"

Bell´s eyes wandered around a bit. the one who had called him handsome was..of course...Kaguya

The next one was a pallum with pink hair and a cheeky grin on her lips. Next to her sat a wolf woman with brownisch skin and white hair. Next came an amazoness, with for them usual black hair and quite an interesting choice of clothes.
Then came two human girls, one looked like a sword fighter, the other maybe like a healer.

The next was a sturdy dwarf, it was Bell´s first time seeing a female dwarf, her face was round and friendly, yet she looked strong enough to snap his spine with just her hands. The next one was a human again, wearing a robe like a mage would.
Next to her were a green haired elf and one human.

"So, Bell. Let me introduce you to everyone."

Astrea moved her hand in the way that Bell had moved his eyes, pointing at every one of her followers.

"From left to right. These are Kaguya, Lyra, Neze, Iska, Maryuu, Noin, Asta, Ryana, Celty, Ryu, Ardee and of course Alise."

He bowed slightly. "N-Nice to meet you."

"So, my girls. This is Bell Cranel and I invited him today to join our Familia."

Lyra slightly raised her hand.

"Not that I want to discuss your decision, Lady Astrea. May I just ask why a man? I thought you only wanted to invite women."

Astrea showed the pallum the smile that all of her followers loved.

"Because he is worthy of justice, my dear."

And that was all they needed to hear, Astrea had invited all of them personally and while some of the girls quarreled from time to time, they never had a fight with each other. All knew that Astrea had a good eye for people.

Bell didn´t know where to look at, so he looked from one woman to the other. The elf with the green hair, Celty, looked a bit uneasy, she wasn´t used to men.

"I know it will take some time since we are all used to the new situation, but please treat Bell like you would any other member, he is new in Orario."

Lyra the pallum smirked. "You must have something impressive on you, Belli, or you wouldn´t have caught lady Astrea´s eyes."

"B-Belli?"

The amazon, Iska, smiled. "Oooh I like that! It fits his cute face!"

"C-Cute?"

Some seemed to be more surprised than taken aback, the elves were a bit shy that a man was allowed to "invade" this female household, but some seemed to be really interested in him.

Neze, the werewolf looked at Bell. "Say, Bell. These swords there are your weapons?"

"Oh yes." Bell looked down to his bagpack with his swords.

"They are mementos from my father and my aunty."

Neze whistled slightly. "Wow, looks expensive."

"My aunty said she wanted me to be safe."

Kaguya looked interested. "And can you use them well?"

"Ahm, I guess. I trained a lot before I came to Orario"

Alise smirked suddenly. "Lady Astrea, it should be time for "that"."

"Oh right, "that"."

Bell looked confused. "That?"

The others looked excited. "That! Yes, do it now!"

The two elves of the Familia suddenly looked really abashed and averted their eyes.

Astrea smiled gently to Bell. "It is a tradition of this Familia that I give you my Falna in front of everyone, so that they can welcome you."

"Oh, okay. No problem."

Alise grinned and winked. "Don´t worry, we have all been through that, you can cover your chest with a towel if you want. And if you are too shy to show your skin, say a word and we will all turn around, it was like that for our elves. Even with being a tradition, lady Astrea isn´t cruel. In fact she is the most gentle, nice and beautiful goddess there is!"

"Hehe, you flatter me, Alise."

"Because you deserve it!"

Bell just got slightly red. "I don´t mind if you look."

He took off his brown jacket and after that his shirt. It turned out that the girls had more problems as he had doing that. Bell had indeed trained a lot with his aunty before coming to Orario and his body was in good shape.

"Oh my..."

"Wow."

"Handsome."

"*Gulp* Six pack..."

The elves especially had problems to look at Bell. Celty hid her face behind her hands, just parted her fingers enough to glance at him. Ryu´s eyes were drawn to Bell´s abs, before she looked hastily away.

"R-Ryana, d-don´t stare like that."

"*Gulp* Right back at you...Maryuu."

Ardee´s cheeks darkened a bit, before she looked hastily away. She and Ryu held hands because they were so embarrassed and needed someone to hold them, they only glanced shortly at Bell.

Alise nodded approving, Bell was quite the looker. She smirked slightly when she noticed that even Astrea got flustered by this sight. She gently poked her goddess in the side.

"Lady Astrea, your job."

"Oh, eh, r-right."

Bell sat down on a chair, his back facing Astrea. Even the sight of his bare back got some girls excited. Alise handed Astrea a short knife, it was a very small version of the sword of justice that belonged to the goddess in heaven. The goddess gently poked her finger and let divine blood fall on Bell´s back, runes appeared immediatelly.

"Bell, is it okay if I tell the others about your first blessing?"

"I trust you, Mylady."

Mmmh!

Astrea didn´t understood why she got red from that sentence of Bell.

"Girls, there is something very important that I have to tell you. This information isn´t allowed to leave this room. You aren´t allowed to talk to anyone about that, except when you are alone with the others."

They looked confused, but nodded.

"Ardee, you don´t have my blessing, but you are like my own child for me, you can talk to Ganesha and Shakti about this, Ganesha already knows it anyway."

"Understood."

"Alright, this information will most likely shock you. Bell belongs to the Zeus familia. His father was in that familia before he fell against the black dragon, his mother was part of the Hera familia, but not an adventurer. He was trained by his aunt, you probably heard the name "Silence" before. She was the one to train him, before she passed away one and a half months ago."

Silence answered her, not even Alise was able to say a word.

"Girls, Girls...calm down. I know it is very much to take in. And yes it is the truth. Bell told me everything, so that I know it and can decide if I still want him or not. You are aware now why this information is delicate. Bell is the only living member of the Zeus familia."

Lyra raised her hand. "But why is God Zeus willing to let you go, Belli?"

"Grandpa only granted me his ble-"

He smiled abashed. "He raised me as my grandfather. I only learned later that he is a god, when my Aunty had a slip of the tongue."

"And what is your plan in Orario? Does God Zeus plan to come back?"

Bell shook his head. "Grandpa only gave me his blessing after I begged him and Aunty to let me train before I go to Orario. I want to become an adventurer, there is nothing more to it."

He didn´t say the whole truth, Astrea knew about everything, but it was too embarrassing to say that about a fateful encounter and saving a damsel in distress in front of everyone.

While they talked, Astrea started to work and give Bell her blessing. Zeus really made it possible for Bell to change his familia.

The others continued to bombard Bell with questions, until Ryu cleared her throat.

"We shouldn´t ask Mr. Cranel everything and see him as he is, not as a now former member of the Zeus familia."

Astrea smiled without looking up from her work. "You´re right, Ryu."

After she was done, Kaguya handed her one of the special papers. Astrea waited a bit after she was done.

"Ahm, Bell...what is this?"

"Hm?"

"You said you trained before...but what...is this?..."

Ardee smiled when she heard about Bell´s skill. "Truly remarkable."

Bell noticed that Ardee still wore her hood, to cover her face. She also wore long clothes to cover as much skin as possible.

"Girls, I know it i-Kya!"

Astrea slipped when she got up behind Bell and fell forward. Before she could catch herself, she bumped against Bell...with her breasts against the back of his head.

Alise looked shocked. "This must be his luck skill! Even I never got a boob pillow!"

Astrea hastily got up, she and Bell blushed heavily. "Aliseee!"

"Sorry, Lady Astrea. But I´m envious of Belli."

"Please don´t call me Belli..."

"Mr. Cranel?"

"Lady Lyon?"

"L-Lady?!" Ryu blinked and her cheeks got slightly pink.

"Belli, her name is Lion."

"It´s not, Alise!"

Lyra nodded. "Yes it is."

"No it´s not!"

Kaguya shook her head. "Give up already, Lion. And change your name."

"I won´t!"

Ryu coughed a few times to calm herself down. "Mr. Cranel, did you went past 999 on every level?"

He nodded. "I did, my Aunty said I probably inherited her monstrous talent, my Grandpa said it is because of my dream."

Ryu looked a bit concerned. "Lady Astrea, everyone, we have to prevent this information from getting out as well."

The goddess nodded. "I absolutely agree."

Ardee raised her hand. "Bell?"

"Ms. Ardee?"

"Say, about your summoning skill."

"Yes?"

"Do you like hero stories?"

He smiled. "I do."

"What about Argonaut?"

"I love the story, it inspired me to use two swords."

He showed her the book that was at his hip, it was quite big and connected to his belt with a chain.

"Reading in this book, opening a certain chapter helps me to use my magic."

Ardee´s face lit up under her hood, but she still kept it on. Bell would later learn why. "What can you summon?"

"Weapons for example, but also the nemean lion in small, it will fight at my side for a while. Or the heads of the hydra and other things, like the heavenly chains tha-"

"So, everyone else, it is time for dinner, you all worked hard and deserve something good to eat."

The Astrea familia members split up, some went to the kitchen, some started to prepare the table, Bell followed Ardee.

"We change every few days who has cooking duty, who cleans the house and so on."

"I hope I will fit in well."

"Can you cook?"

"My Aunty taught me thoroughly, she said everything below perfection wouldn´t be tolerated."

"Hehe, that´s good."

"I hope this isn´t too personal, but Lady Astrea said you aren´t part of the familia?"

"Nope, I officially belong to the Ganesha familia, my big sister is the captain there."

"You´re the younger sister of Shakti Varma, the Ankusha?"

She turned around, Bell saw a smile on her lips, Ardee curtsied slightly. "Ardee Varma, also known as Vyasa. Seventeen years old, in a few months eighteen. I specialize in healing magic and debuffing the opponent."

He smiled. "Bell Cranel, I don´t have an alias, eighteen years old."

Ardee sighed. "Another one who is older than me...so I´m still the young one."

"Well but not for long, hm? How come you're here and not at your familia´s home, with your sister?"

"There was an incident about one and a half years ago, an attack of Evilus. I almost died there when a bomb detonated. Lion sat every day at my bed, as did Shakti, Ganesha as often as he could. They say when you face death, you see or feel the things really important to you. I talked with Ganesha and Shakti, as well as Lion and Lady Astrea. While I keep his blessing, I am now more or less part of the Astrea familia. I just get along better with all the girls here and fit better, compared to my huge familia. Yet I don´t want to leave Ganesha and Shakti, both understand me."

"Then thank the gods that you survived that explosion."

"Mhm.."

He noticed that Ardee pulled her hood down on the right side a bit more.

"So, this is your room, my room is right here, so if you have questions, just knock."

She playfully wagged her index finger at him. "But no walking in just like that, I´m a young woman."

"I would never do that."

"Hehe, good."

Maybe it was really Bell´s luck skill at work, but when Ardee wanted to turn around, she slipped slightly and fell towards Bell.

"Kya!"

"Ardee!"

Ardee would´ve been able to catch herself, but Bell reacted faster and catched her in his arms. During that movement, his left hand brushed against the hood and pulled it off, because he tried to protect the back of her head out of instinct.

And then Bell saw why Ardee wore her hood all the time.

Bell saw that Ardee´s eyes had a cerulean color, but the right one was almost white. The reason for that was the burn mark at the side of her head, part of her forehead and cheek. Bell got quickly that this probably came from the explosion.

Her eyes widened, at first in surprise, then in horror. Bell noticed that small tears gathered in the corner of Ardee´s eyes, she was probably ashamed of the scar.

The words came out of Bell´s mouth before he could think straight.

"Beautiful..."

"Huh?"

"You´re...so beautiful..."

Ardee blinked a few times. "Wha-?!"

"I mean it...your eyes...your face...you´re so beautiful."

She now got aware that Bell´s left hand touched her right cheek, his fingers slightly the scar. Bell didn´t try to flirt with Ardee, he acted on instinct and praised her, but he really thought that she was very beautiful.

She got deep red and moved away from Bell instantly.

"Wh-Wh-What are you saying?!"

"Ah, I´m sorry! I didn´t mean to touch you, I´m sorry!"

Bell bowed down two times, Ardee turned slightly away, hiding her scar out of reflex.

"Why would you say something like that..."

"Because you´re really beautiful, Ms. Ardee."

She got even more red. "M-Mouh! Don´t make fun of me!"

"I am not, I really think so."

"Mmhh..." She pulled her hood up and hid most of her face, this time out of embarrassment.

Ardee glanced to him. "Why would you say that?"

"Because it is true, I think you´re really beautiful."

"Mmmh!"

Ardee fled into her room and closed the door.

"Oh man...that wasn´t the best start..."

But...Bell wasn´t the only one surprised when Alise knocked at his door and told him that dinner was ready. When he went to the dining room, Ardee sat next to Ryu, without her hood. All of the others looked at him when he entered the room, some looked for a short moment at Ardee, then Bell again.

As the new member, he was supposed to sit on Astrea´s left side, her right side was Alise´s regular place.

When he sat down, Astrea leaned slightly towards Bell and whispered into his ear. "You did well with Ardee, she has problems with her scar."

"Lady Astrea?"

"Alise?"

"To celebrate this day, is it okay when we open a bottle of wine or two?"

The goddess nodded. "But nothing too strong and not too much."

"Yeah, you´re the best."

"You say that every day."

"Then not often enough!"

The goddess chuckled. "Bell, do you drink?"

"Not very much and I don´t like sweet things."

"Oh? Like no sweets at all?"

"No."

Alise raised her hand. "Then I claim the ownership of Belli´s dessert!"

"Alise, you had two desserts yesterday."

"Meh..."

"Ahm..I would like to give my dessert to Ms. Ardee, as an apology for earlier."

"Thank you.."

Kaguya and Lyra smirked.

"Looks like our young one is already going ahead of all the others."

"Mhm, she surely doesn´t lose time."

Astrea knocked on the table. "Kaguya, Lyra, behave."

""Hay, Haay.""

When dinner was served, Astrea raised her glass.

"Tonight we celebrate our new member, be very welcome, Bell."

He smiled happily. "Thank you all very much. I will do my best to do my part in the familia."

"I´m sure you will fit in perfectly, Bell."

The food was the best he had ever since he came to Orario, it came close to the food that Alfia made in the past. And Bell said that.

"This tastes amazing! The best food I had in a very long time!"

Astrea smiled. "You like it?"

"Very much! Whoever made this is an amazing cook!"

Ryana and Maryuu smiled a bit flustered, they were used to get praises by the others, but never from a man. To have a man inside their home was something new for all of them.

To have dinner with such a big familia was really nice, Bell was sure that his grandfather would be really proud of him to have found such a nice familia.

A certain soul in heaven was not so happy and had to get comforted by the soul of her sister, who was happy that her son found a nice familia.

After the dinner, Astrea told Bell to take a shower first, she showed him the bathroom. Apparently it took a while when her girls used the big bathroom, they tended to chat for a while when they bathed or showered, including the goddess.

And...there wasn´t really a way how Bell could join them...

Not that he intended to.

Since he was exhausted, Bell went to bed early after the shower.

The next days would be exciting!

Bell soon got used to live in a house with so many women, there wasn´t one familia member that didn´t like him.

And they were really amazed by his strength.

Life was good.

And so...a few months passed.

It was only two weeks now before the fateful day would come...when the Astrea familia would go into the dungeon to hunt down the Rudra familia...

Bell yawned while he sat up in his bed, it had been a late night, patroling the city again. Things got better and better in Orario, they drove Evilus further and further back.

And he did his part, which wasn´t a small part. Due to Bell´s skill "Heroic Desire", he went up to level four and his status already grew by a good amount in the last months. Even Alise was "only" level four, but her skill and magic let her defeat Bell every single time when they trained with each other. She was more than "just" a goddess, Astrea was an angel.

There were many gods, but when someone would ask Bell what would be the first and only image that came to his mind when he thought about a goddess, it would be Astrea.

It was to be expected, since she was his goddess, but even then he saw her as a true goddess. He got to know a few goddesses, most of them were curious of him because he was the only man in the Astrea familia.

Ardee smiled when Bell sat down at the table.

"I finished the first book last night."

"Did you like it?"

Ardee had recently turned eighteen and they had a big party because of that, Bell gave her three special books as a gift. Old heroic story books that his grandfather gave him, they had much more details than other books of this kind. One of them was the tale of Argonaut, Ardee´s favorite story. Alise put her hand on his chin, then she pressed her lips onto his cheek. His eyes shot open in surprise, looking deep into the green ones of his captain.

As usual, more than a few of the others reacted shocked when Alise did that so openly and so early in the morning.

When she separated her lips from Bell´s cheek, she grinned.

Yes...Bell Cranel loved his familia...and they loved him...and that slowly turned into a huge problem! The women didn´t fight with each other, they lived together as one big, happy familia, all of them adored and loved Bell, not one of them tried to take him for themself.
