Kagome's friends drag Kagome to a water park to try and cheer her up after a rough break up with her and her boyfriend. What happens when she accepts a water jet ride from a certain silver haired half dog demon?

A/N: I hope you enjoy this story. This story was inspired by the guy that takes people for rides using his water jet on tiktok (Only the water jetting was inspired by this guy! The rest of the story belongs to me.)

Kagome walked through the water park with her three best girlfriends: Eri, Yuka and Ayumi. She was just finishing up her ice cream cone that her and her friends had stopped at the ice cream kiosk to get. She tossed the napkin that she used to wipe the melted ice cream that had dripped on her hands as they passed one of many trash cans that littered the park. They had been there for about two hours now and had been on most of the rides; they had made a pact to go on every single one, their favorites more than once, before they left the water park. They'd been on the River Rapids ride, a steep water slide where you start out standing in an enclosed small round space then the floor drops out from under you, sending you down the water slide at a fast speed, water slides that you go down on a round floatie, they went on a boat ride, they went around in a lazy river - though Kagome didn't really care for the boat ride or the lazy river, they were too slow for her, she liked the faster, more thrilling rides - they also went on most of the water coasters.

They had about three or four rides left which, if they wanted to stick with the pact that they made, they needed to hurry because the park would be closing in about an hour and a half.

"Hey, look girls!" Eri squealed as she pointed at a face painting booth. "Let's get our faces painted!"

"Um, but wouldn't it just get washed off when we go on more rides?" Kagome asked with a tilt of her head, thinking that it was a little strange that a face painting booth would be set up in a water park.

"Nope, it says it's completely waterproof." Ayumi responded as she read the fine print.

"Yay!" Yuka and Eri cheered as they got in line.

Kagome sighed as she followed Ayumi to stand in line with the other two, she really wasn't in the mood to even be at the water theme park today. Today was a hard day for her, it would have been her and her boyfriend's three-year anniversary today, and even though she knew their breakup was for the best, it still hurt like hell.

She surmised that was the reason that her friends dragged her out of the house when all she wanted to do was watch sad movies while eating a gallon sized container of ice cream and crying her heart out. However, she was secretly happy that her friends did demand that she went out with them to have fun. It was better than wallowing in her sorrows at home.

Kagome picked out a cat design to be painted on her face, something simple and fast - she really didn't want to be sitting down for very long while the person painted a more detailed design. She had never been one that sat in one place for very long, always needing to busy herself with doing something. Whether that 'something' was cleaning, cooking, dancing or just being silly - like she was known to do very often - she was barely able to sit still long enough to watch a movie or anything that made it difficult for her to move around. This little detail about herself was something that her boyfriend, now ex-boyfriend, hated about her. He was more of a laid-back type of guy - which confused her friends as to why she even gave him the time of day to begin with. They loved her personality and hated her man trying to dim her light and kill her fun wild side into a more docile type like he was. They were all excited when her 'live life on the edge' lifestyle finally got on his last nerve, making him end their two year, too long, relationship. However, they did feel bad because Kagome did like him and took it hard when he ended it all. It was almost the straw that broke the camel's back and killed her crazy, risk-taking side. Her friends, though, wouldn't let her give up on that side that easily. They did everything they could, taking her everywhere that had high risks of danger just to make sure she didn't give up that part of her. It worked, she quickly fell back into what she loved and let die the thought of giving it all up for someone that tried to douse her fire.

It didn't make the breakup hurt any less though, and her friends knew that she was still hurting - and even though they were there for her, it wasn't enough to take the pain completely away. That would be something that she'd have to work through on her own, all they could do was be there for her, which they vowed to do until she got tired of them and told them to go away.

Eri got a tiger design, Yuka got a rainbow that started in the middle of her forehead and curved down her temple and ended just below her eye, it also had white stars that littered the rainbow, and Ayumi got a butterfly design.

Once all their faces were painted, they started walking along the path once again while they were chatting and laughing about something that had happened to Eri the other day. The other three girls didn't notice that Yuka had stopped and bumped right into her.

"Hey, what gives, Yuka?" Eri groaned, irritated that she would just stop for no apparent reason.

"Yeah, why'd you stop?" Ayumi asked, also slightly miffed, that Yuka had stopped.

Though Kagome also wanted to know what made Yuka stop in the middle of the walkway, she didn't say anything.

"Ooo!" Yuka awed, ignoring the girls' ire, as she looked at them with excitement swimming in her eyes. "We haven't done this ride yet! Let's do this one next!" She exclaimed with a wide smile on her face as she pointed towards the ride.

Kagome and the other girls had looked where Yuka was pointing and saw a man with long silver hair and a pair of red swimming trunks on a water jet that was attached to his feet as he jetted over the water. Due to them being so far away from the man that was currently using the water's power to fly through the air with a slim woman in his arms, the long silver hair, that was tied up in a bun on the top of his head, and red trunks were the only features that they could make out.

Kagome's heart dropped as she watched the man do flips, dips, spins and dives while taking the woman for her ride. Since she had recently been broken up with and wasn't for sure she was entirely ready to be held by another man yet, even though it wasn't in a sexual way.

"Um, I think I'm going to pass on this one, girls, you all go have fun." Kagome spoke with a small voice that had the other three knowing why she wanted to stand to the side for this particular ride, however, they weren't about to let it slide.

"Oh, come on Kags!" Ayumi exclaimed exasperated as she grabbed Kagome's arm and pulled her closer to the line to wait for their turn. "It'll be so much fun!"

"Yeah, Kagome!" Eri chimed in as she followed them to stand in line. "Your breakup was months ago, and we didn't like him anyway, it's time to move on!"

"And what better way than to be wrapped in an attractive, muscly guy's arms?" Yuka asked with a giggle as she placed her hands on Kagome's back to aid Ayumi in pushing Kagome to the back of the line.

"Tell me how you really feel." Kagome groaned under her breath though, knowing that nothing she said or did would derail them from forcing her on this ride, let the girls pull/push her to stand in line.

They waited in line for about twenty minutes before it was their turn. Kagome looked at a sign that was propped up at the deck of the ride. There were four options that they could choose from; option one: a five-minute ride at a gentle speed without many tricks during the ride that was twenty dollars. Option two: a five-minute ride that was rougher with more tricks during the ride that was thirty dollars. Option three: a ten-minute ride at a gentle speed without many tricks that was forty dollars. And finally, option four: a ten-minute ride that was rougher with many tricks thrown into the ride fifty dollars. She sighed as she figured that she would just get it over with as fast as possible and went with the five-minute one with the tricks during the ride. Might as well make it interesting and fun for her, she was never one to take things slow, she more liked to live her life fast, rough and on the edge. She made sure she was always safe about how she lived her life though, always made sure she wasn't at risk of seriously hurting herself. She's done it all; skydiving, air gliding, water skiing, snowboarding, skiing down the steepest snow slope, line zipping, mountain climbing, taking the riskier route while going hiking, everything you can think of - she did. However, she's never tried water jetting, it looked fun - and she couldn't lie, she was excited to be up in the air. She liked the feeling of being weightless, of feeling like she was flying - she wished she could always feel that feeling.

The lady that was ahead of Kagome had just finished her ride, prompting her to step closer towards the man. Seeing him up closer she could tell that he had bright expressive golden eyes, a boyish grin that was plastered on his lips, a nicely toned chest and stomach that had her wanting to run her fingers across all the glorious muscle and adorable dog ears - the same color as his hair - that sat on top of his head. She had to fist her hand to keep herself from either touching his mouth-watering abs or his adorable doggy ears. She shook her head when she realized that the man was waiting for her with a cocked eyebrow. She quickly stepped forward and handed an older woman, with gray hair that she kept up in a bun and brown eyes with one that was covered by an eye patch, thirty dollars. The old lady then handed her a yellow wristband that she guessed let the guy giving the rides know which ride they wanted. She then pressed a button, and Kagome saw the five minutes come up on the screen.

"Go ahead, child, it is your turn to have your ride." The old lady waved her on. "Just listen to Inuyasha's instructions and you'll be just fine."

There was a large black box on the deck that was about ten feet off the ground that had a timer on it to let the man giving the rides know when the ride ended.

"You ready?" The man asked before clearing his throat and shaking his head, flicking his eyes down to see what color her wristband was before bringing his eyes back up to hers. Kagome had to wonder exactly what he was thinking that made him shake his head that way but decided not to ask as she stepped forward.

"I was born ready." Kagome responded with a nod as she took another step closer to the man. She was extremely excited about this ride; she had been wanting to do this for a long while now but was never able to find the time to do it.

"Whatever you say, Kitten." The man replied with a chuckle, throwing Kagome off for a minute before she remembered that she had the cat design painted on her face.

Kagome took a deep breath as she held her arms out to the side in a way that looked like she was getting ready to give the man a hug.

"Turn around, Kitten." The man ordered gently, causing Kagome to arch an eyebrow at him but followed directions without any fight. He smirked once she had her back to him as he snaked an arm around her waist before swinging her body around where her bottom half was behind him while her top half was tucked against his side.

Kagome gasped as electricity sparked as he touched her bare belly with his arm and her heart pounded in her ribcage as he took them higher in the sky. She was wearing a dark green halter top, that showed off her nicely toned tummy, with dark blue jean shorts and a pair of white slip-on shoes that she had taken off and left on the deck before the ride had started. Her hands came to grip his arm that he had wrapped around her as her face tinged with pink. She couldn't explain what happened, something just clicked with her the moment he touched her, making her wish that this ride would never end. She mentally shook that thought away, she wasn't ready to be thinking like that, and plus - a guy as good looking as him couldn't possibly be single - could he?

He spun them around a few times, making Kagome's body fly out away from him causing her to let out a shrill giggle and all of the thoughts of electric touches left her mind. He felt pride swell in his chest and for some reason his ears strained forward, trying to catch every giggle that came out of her mouth. It sounded like the best kind of music to him, a sound that no symphony could ever hope to compare to. He felt a little stupid as his heart raced at the sound, he'd only just met the girl, and not only that - but he had also been through a pretty rough breakup about a year prior and wasn't even the slightest bit interested in starting another one at this time. And besides, there was no way that a girl as sexy as her could ever be single.

He sighed telling himself to stop thinking that way, she was just another girl that he was giving a ride on his water jet, and it wasn't like he could ever have her anyway. A little less than five-minutes later and she'd be gone out of his life forever. He couldn't explain the sharp pang of pain that struck his chest, but he chose to ignore it as he stopped spinning. He sighed, letting go of the thought of ever having this beautiful young woman that unexpectedly walked into his life. He was positive that she would be paying him a visit in his dreams for a long while, and he was strangely okay with that - he'd take anything he could get from her.

Kagome's feet landed between his, her body standing right in front of him now with her back pressed up against his chest as he started spinning once again, causing another round of laughter and screams to escape past her lips as her body flew into the air. After a few more spins, he stopped before bending down and swooping her up in a bridal style hold, doing two backflips in a row once he had a strong grip on her. Even more laughter chimed around him as he did a third backflip before setting her back on her feet so that she was facing him again. He flew them around for a few seconds, descending them towards the water's surface before shooting them back up into the air at a fast speed - he did this a few times before leaning down so his lips were directly by her ear. She gasped as she felt his breath fan across her skin before his smooth, husky voice sounded in her ear.

"I'm going to pick you up and you're going to wrap your legs around me, okay Kitten?" He ordered; he reveled in the way her breath hitched in her throat making it to where she couldn't speak so she just nodded her understanding. He picked her up and she did as she was told and wrapped her legs around his waist before wrapping her arms around his neck. He flipped them a few more times before telling her to take a deep breath and hold it, once she did, he dove into the water - coming up a second later, enjoying her laughter as it filled his ears. "Let go of my neck." He ordered again, loving the way she so easily listened to his commands, before spinning them around once again causing her upper body to swing away from him while her legs were still wrapped around his waist. She laughed and shrieked with delight as her arms swung above her head. A few seconds later, he stopped spinning, bringing her closer to him once again while holding her tight against him and telling her to hold her breath again. He dove back into the water before coming back up and lowered his lips back down next to her ear.

"Looks like our ride is over." The man informed and Kagome didn't miss the way his voice sounded so disappointed that they were no longer able to be close to one another, and she couldn't help but feel the same way as he lowered them back towards the deck.

She never regretted a decision so much before in all her life, she wished she could change her mind and do the ten-minute ride instead. She sighed as she went to step off the water jet and back on the deck, however, his strong arms around her didn't loosen. She looked up at him confused as he dipped his head down and placed his lips by her ear once again, reveling in the shiver that crawled up her spine. "Come back to see me okay, Kitten."

"O-okay." Kagome agreed dumbly as her face heated up while he released his hold on her with a chuckle and she stumbled forward onto the deck. She stepped to the side and watched as her friends all took their turns on the water jet ride. While standing there, she felt a little stupid that she let her feelings get the best of her. There was absolutely no way that she was the only one that he spoke to like that or gave a nickname too or told them to come back to see him. She huffed out an annoyed sigh as she berated, not really sure why she was so annoyed but too mad right now to be otherwise. She felt rather cheated, which she knew wasn't fair to him, she couldn't say why she felt the way she did - but she found that she hated the thought of him talking to other women the way he spoke to her.

She let out another annoyed huff and it was then that she decided that she was in fact not going to come back and see him - she was just going to go on the few remaining rides and then leave. She crossed her arms over her chest and gave a determined nod as Eri finished her ride and Yuka took hers.

Once all of Kagome's friends were done with their rides, the water park announced that they were closing in about an hour. The girls all decided that they'd go on one more ride before going to a food truck and grab dinner before they left.

They had gone on another water roller coaster ride, which they all loved, before going to a food truck that was very popular for their cheeseburgers. They all ordered and waited for their food before sitting down at the many picnic tables that the park offered for the park goers to eat their food comfortably.

They all could tell that something was bothering Kagome because she had been in a sour mood since the water jet ride. They all wanted to ask her about it, they were concerned for her, but didn't know what to say in order for her not to break down or snap at them. They knew today was extra hard for her, which is why they forced her to get out of her house, so they wondered if that was the reason for her sudden drop in mood.

However, Kagome was frustrated because all she could think about were eyes as bright as the sun, she feared she could get lost in them, if she weren't careful, ears that she wanted to spend all day rubbing, and a sinful smirk curling his mouth as he promised all dirty things he could do to her. A blush colored her cheeks as she shook her head clear of the thoughts before angrily snatching a fry out of her container, jamming it in her mouth.

"Are you okay, Kagome?" Eri asked, finally building up her courage to ask, as she looked at Kagome with concern, along with Yuka and Ayumi with matching looks on their faces.

"Huh?" Kagome mumbled as she looked up from her container of food to look at her friends. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

"Because you have an irritated look on your face and you're mumbling under your breath as you're angrily eating your food." Ayumi answered as she continued to look at her friend with concern deep in her eyes.

"Oh, it's nothing, really - I'm fine." Kagome reassured with a small smile on her face, though none of her friends believed her. "Hey, did that guy that did the water jet ride give any of you a nickname?"

"No, he didn't." Yuka answered with a shake of her head. "Why do you ask?"

"No reason. Just forget about it." Kagome responded with a small blush coloring her nose as she went back to eat her food. She wished that she could just stop thinking about this guy, she wasn't ever going to see him again anyway. Her frown deepened as a sharp pang hit her chest, she couldn't explain why her heart rejected the idea of never seeing the man ever again. She didn't even know his name for crying out loud, it wasn't like they had some deep-rooted connection from one stupid little water jet ride. Why was she acting like a lovesick little girl that had some secret crush on him? Why couldn't she get his damn eyes or his ears or his mouth-watering abs out of her mind? This wasn't fair!

She took an angry sip of her coke as her eyebrows dip together further.

"Hey, Kitten!" A male voice called from off in the distance causing Kagome to let out an embarrassed squeak before going in a coughing fit from choking on her coke as she hunched in over herself trying to become invisible as her face rivaled that of a tomato.

"Uh, Kagome, I think that the water jet guy is coming this way. And did he just call you Kitten?" Eri asked behind a giggle.

"Shut up! I don't know what you're talking about!" Kagome hissed as she shot daggers at Eri before looking back at the table. 'Why is he here!? Did he look for me when I didn't come back? No, there's no way that he'd track me down. Why is my heart pounding? Oh, God, kill me now.' She thought to herself with an internal groan, this was so mortifying.

Inuyasha had just finished giving out his last ride of the day and was lowering himself and the lady he had given the ride to back down to the deck before his best friend and co-worker, Miroku, turned off the power to the jet. He landed in the water and swam to the deck before hoisting himself up out of the water, with Miroku's help, and onto the deck. He mumbled under his breath as he unhooked his feet from the water jet. He was just a bit irritated because that last woman was extra grabby, and he had to put up, dodging the best he could, with it for ten fucking minutes which put him in an extremely sour mood and had to banish the idea of 'accidentally' dropping her into the water several times during the ride. To top it off, his Kitten hadn't come back to see him like she said she would and that hadn't helped his mood improve whatsoever.

He wanted to know why she didn't show up. He also wanted to know why it bothered him so much that she didn't. It made no sense to him why he should care so much that she didn't keep to her word and come back to see him. He growled quietly as he worked to free his feet while he tried desperately to rid his mind of a certain sexy gray eyed Kitten. It didn't matter now; she was most likely already gone, and he'd never see her again.

"Another successful day, my friend." Miroku, a man with short black hair, deep violet eyes and three gold hops pierced into his ears - one in one ear and two in the other, who rode a jet boat around the water while Inuyasha did the ride just in case something went wrong, said - not realizing that he interrupted Inuyasha's thoughts - as he went to tie up his water jet for the night before returning next to Inuyasha's side and watched as he put his water jet away.

"Yeah." Inuyasha grunted as he fully freed his feet from the water jet before standing up and placing it in its case before walking towards the old woman that had been in his life since the day he was born. "How did we do, Grandma Kaede?" He asked as he leaned his hip against the table that Kaede used during the day.

"We did well today." Kaede answered with a smile as she handed Inuyasha a small lock box that she placed all the money in. "We made well over what we normally do."

"That's good." Inuyasha replied with a nod as he unlocked the box and took out a large bundle of money before handing it to Kaede. "Here, your earnings for today."

"Oh, Inuyasha," Kaede mumbled with wide eyes as she pushed Inuyasha's hand back, "this is far too much. I couldn't possibly accept that."

"Keh," Inuyasha scoffed gently as he took Kaede's hand and placed the money into it before curling her fingers around the bundle, "course you can. Do you think that it'll be enough for your husband's operation? If not, I can give you some more."

"No, no," Kaede replied with a wide smile on her face, "this is plenty. Thank you, Inuyasha, so much."

"You're welcome." Inuyasha responded with a fond smile as he watched her gather her things. "See you tomorrow?" He asked as he watched her walking away.

"See you tomorrow, dear." Kaede replied while turning around with a fond smile and a wave before turning back around and leaving the water park.

Inuyasha sighed, he was still a little upset over the fact that his Kitten didn't come back. He grumbled as he and Miroku made their walk to leave the park, however, as they were walking towards the exit, they passed by a food truck that had outside seating that people could sit at while they ate their meal. He did a double take as he walked by, there she was - sitting at one of the tables - his Kitten. His heart did stupid little palpitations causing him to lift a hand up and rub his chest over his heart while he made his way over to her. "Hey, Kitten!"

Miroku watched as Inuyasha walked towards a food truck, that was owned by a woman that he secretly had a crush on - though everyone that worked in the water park knew he had a crush on her - for a few seconds before shrugging and following after him so he could chat with the young woman that served food for a living.

Not receiving an answer, but not really caring, Inuyasha sat down next to Kagome before stealing one of her fries and popped it into his mouth. "You never came back to see me, Kitten." He accused as he looked at her from the corner of his eye.

Kagome sighed as she mentally rolled her eyes. "My name is Kagome, and I didn't come back to see you because I figured that you had plenty of choices of women to pick from." Kagome replied before taking a bite of her cheeseburger. She weirdly felt really jealous at the thought of him saying what he said to her to other women, or the thought of him taking anyone but her to his bed, even though she knew she shouldn't be. She had just met the guy, and most likely would never see him again. She shouldn't care whether he talked to other girls or not or how many women he took to his bed. But strangely, she couldn't get the jealousy to leave her, the more she tried, the more she felt it. She knew she had zero right to feel these feelings, it wasn't fair for her or for him to put a claim on him - and she didn't want a new relationship anyway. But she couldn't help it, she couldn't stop herself from feeling the way she was, and didn't that just piss her off?

"Jealous, are we?" Inuyasha asked with an arched eyebrow and a half-smile curling his lips as he looked into her in her stormy gray eyes. Damn, this woman just did things to him, he wasn't sure what it was - whether it was her spitfire attitude or her stormy gray eyes that he just knew he'd get lost in if he weren't careful. He wondered if she really was jealous because he knew that if any man were around her then he'd be full of jealousy. He wondered why that was, it was a little alarming how fast he was growing attached to her. Their interaction had been five minutes during the ride and then a few minutes here and he already felt as if he wouldn't be able to breathe right if she wasn't by his side. He guessed that should have scared him how fast she was becoming a permanent fixture in his life, but all he felt was excitement at the idea that she could be his and he could be hers.

"No!" Kagome shouted as she shot daggers at the man who just laughed at her antics, her face rivaling that of a tomato. "It's just, why would I wanna come back when I know that you probably already took most of the women here back to your bed?"

"And what the hell is that supposed to mean?" Inuyasha asked as a low growl started to rumble in his chest as he stared down at her through narrowed eyes. He felt insulted that she was insinuating that he was some sort of a man whore. He knew that it wasn't entirely fair for him to be irritated at her, it was just that his ex and he used to have many fights with her throwing indications that he was cheating on her with the women he gave rides to.

"It means," Kagome said, cutting Inuyasha's thoughts off and regaining his attention, once she swallowed her bite of cheeseburger, "that's why I didn't come back to see you. I know that all the things you said to me you've said to hundreds, if not thousands, of other girls. Let me ask you, have those lines ever actually worked in getting women in your bed?"

Inuyasha snorted as he moved his face closer to hers with a smirk curling his lips, unknowingly making Kagome's heart do stupid little flip-flops. He banished thoughts of his ex from his mind, it wasn't fair to automatically assume that she would be anything like his ex. After all, what she said was valid, even though it was further from the truth, he could see why she would say something like that. She just met him and didn't know him from Adam, for all she knew he had a different woman in his bed every night. He'd just have to make her see how far from the truth those thoughts were from his mind. "Couldn't tell ya, Kitten. Look, I hate to disappoint ya, but ever since I started this gig, you're the first person that I've called by something other than their name or asked them to come back to see me." He admitted before moving away while stealing another fry and threw it in his mouth. "Believe it or not, I'm not taking anyone home with me. There hasn't been anyone in my bed besides me for a little over a year now."

That caught Kagome off guard and had only one question running through her mind. "Why me?" She asked out loud as she munched on a salty fry.

That was a good question, and it stopped Inuyasha in his tracks as he thought, why did he have such an intense reaction towards her, why did he feel such a strong need to be around her at all times? "Dunno," Inuyasha mumbled with a shrug as he pilfered yet another fry out of Kagome's food container, "your eyes maybe? I never seen eyes like yours before, they drew me in, I guess." Inuyasha replied remembering how his heart skipped a beat at the color of her eyes - gray - he had never seen another person with that shade of color. His breath hitched in his throat as the sun shone in her eyes changing the color from gray to sparkling silver. He remembered taking a discreet sniff in her direction to determine whether she was human or demon - human - that surprised Inuyasha. He had never met a human with such a demon-like eye color. She also had raven black hair that flowed down to her mid back, he found himself having to force himself to not run his fingers through her locks. Her skin, flawless and deliciously tanned, told him that she spent the majority of her time outside. He liked that, he didn't like spending his time inside, he much preferred to be outside and wanted a woman by his side that felt the same about being outside that he did. "And once I touched your skin, I felt a shock zap through my body. You felt it too, didn't you?"

'My eyes?' Kagome thought to herself a little surprised, she knew her eye color was incredibly rare to have, however, no one has really ever pointed them out like he had just done. She felt her face heat up as she looked back down at her food container before giving a slight nod, admitting that she felt the electric shock as well. "Would you quit stealing my fries!?" She yelled as she jerked her head up to glare at him while she moved her food container away from him.

"What?" Inuyasha asked with fake innocence as he looked down at her. "Oh, come on, Kitten, I'm hungry!" He begged as he tried to reach for the container holding the delicious food, but Kagome held it out of his reach.

"Then go get your own!" Kagome demanded as she leaned further away from the man while trying to save her food from getting stolen. "And my name is Kagome! Ka-go-me!"

Kagome's friends were watching the two's antics with amused grins on their faces, they were happy that Kagome was seemingly actually having some fun. They hadn't seen her have this much spunk in months, it made them really happy. However, the moment was shattered once a sharp smack echoed through the air making everyone turn their heads to witness the guy that rode the jet boat around the water while the rides were given, on his ass on the ground as he rubbed his cheek. There was a woman, with long brown hair that she kept up in a high ponytail with deep brown eyes, standing over him with murder in her eyes.

"Sango, my dear, you know my hand is cursed! I can't control it!" The man moped as he continued to rub his sore cheek while he held up the offending hand as some kind of lame proof that it really was cursed.

"It's your personality that's cursed, not your hand, pervert!" The woman accused before stomping off to finish closing her food truck down for the night.

"Ouch, my love, you wound my heart." Miroku spoke dramatically as he placed both hands over his wounded heart.

"Keh, lecher." The man that was sitting beside Kagome scoffed before sneaking another fry out of Kagome's container while she was distracted.

"Hey!" Kagome yelled, glaring at Inuyasha as he munched away on his stolen goods.

"So, Kagome, was it?" Inuyasha asked, ignoring the fire of irritation that was burning in her eyes, as he chewed on the golden, goodness stick of fried potato.

"Yes, my name is Kagome." She replied with a nod, hoping that he was finally going to start using her actual name, as she moved her box of food away from the man in hopes no more of her food would be taken.

"Hn," He hummed as he looked at her from the corner of his eye with a sinful smirk on his face, "I think I like Kitten better. Yeah, I'm going to continue calling you Kitten." He decided with a nod as he looked down at the food that his Kitten was trying desperately to keep out of his reach.

Kagome groaned and rolled her eyes but otherwise let it go as he tried to reach out to steal some more fries, however, she was successful at thwarting his attempt. "So, what's your name, Puppy?"

Inuyasha snorted as he stole her drink and took a sip, smirking when she sent him a deadly glare. "Puppy?" He asked with a laugh, taking another sip of her Coke. "I ain't no puppy, I promise you that. Anyway, name's Inuyasha, but my friends call me Yash. However, you're welcome to come up with your own nickname for me as long as it's not 'puppy'."

Kagome was really enjoying his sure attitude; it was like he walked around knowing that he was a hot shit and for some reason that really turned Kagome on. "Hmm, I think I'll call you Inu. But no one else is allowed to call you that, that's my nickname for you, so I'm the only one that's allowed to call you that."

Inuyasha snorted again while Miroku sat down at the table with a dejected look as he still held a hand to his reddened cheek mumbling how he's so misunderstood.

"Staking claims, are we?" Inuyasha asked with a proud smirk on his face while his heart raced in his chest. He couldn't explain it but for some reason he was drawn to this woman and he wanted her to be his more than anything.

"What? No!" Kagome shouted with a deep blush across her cheekbones as her heart pounded in her chest, why had she said that? She didn't know and wanted the ground to open up and swallow her whole to save her from this embarrassment.

"That's okay, Kitten, I feel the same way." Inuyasha admitted with a shrug. He felt possessive over her and would most likely kill him if they ever touched her or dared to call her Kitten. However, even though he felt this possessiveness over her, he'd never try to keep her locked up or from being able to go out and hang out with her friends just as long as she was in his bed at the end of the day. 'Woah, where the hell did that come from? Slow down there, buddy, I don't even know if she likes me in that way.' He thought to himself as his own blush lightly dusted his cheeks.

"Whatever." Kagome mumbled while her own blush darkened on her face as she picked up her cheeseburger to take a bite. Strangely, though, she didn't want anyone but him to give her a pet name - even her ex hadn't called her by anything other than her name. Having Inuyasha call her Kitten was new and strange for her, however, she liked it and knew that it would feel like a crime if he called her anything other than Kitten.

"Attention, park goers," a voice sounded on the intercom, "the park is closing in ten minutes - please make your way towards the exit. Thank you so much for your business and we hope to see you again real soon, goodbye!"

Kagome finished off her cheeseburger as she, begrudgingly, pushed her fries towards Inuyasha with a roll of her eyes - there would be no way she'd be able to finish them in time.

Inuyasha did a victory whoop before digging into his newly acquired salty goodness.

"Well, I guess I best get going, thank you girls for today - I really needed it." Kagome spoke with a sigh as she stood up before gathering everything up.

"Wait!" Inuyasha shouted as he stood up to face her. "Can I see you again?" He asked her and Kagome's heart skipped a beat at the absolute hope that she saw deep in his eyes. His heart pounded as he waited for her to answer, he could feel the sweat start to bead on his forehead as he looked down at her.

"Sure, I guess that's okay, when would you like to meet up?" Kagome asked as she brought her hand up over her heart to rub the skin that covered it.

Inuyasha tracked the movement of her hand as he let out a sigh of relief while he licked his lips before bringing his eyes to look into hers again. "How about tonight?" He asked, feeling the overwhelming need to see her as soon as possible.

"That'll work, I don't have anything else going on tonight. Where are we meeting and what time?" Kagome asked, tilting her head. She couldn't deny that she felt excited to see him, she didn't want to waste any time, feeling the need to see him as soon as possible for as long as possible. She couldn't explain why she felt like that, and she supposed that the notion should have scared her, however, the only feeling that she felt was excitement to see where this could take them. She wanted to give whatever this was a try, wanted to see how far they would go.

"We can meet here in the parking lot at eight o'clock, if that works for you?" Inuyasha suggested as he looked at Kagome while rubbing the back of his neck. He wasn't sure why all of a sudden he was nervous, but he was worried that he was moving too fast and would scare her away. However, he wasn't one to move slow, and come to think of it, he really didn't know how to move slowly. He guessed he should probably work on that but for now, he just needed to be as close to her as he could for as long as she would allow him too.

"Sure, see you then, Inu." Kagome agreed, cutting Inuyasha's thoughts off as he looked at her with surprise, with a wave of her hand as she turned to leave the park with her friends following after her.

"See you then, Kitten." Inuyasha mumbled as he watched as Kagome walked towards the exit before calling out to the woman who had slapped Miroku, her name was Sango.

"Hey, I need a favor from you and Miroku." Inuyasha informed when Sango made her way over to see what he wanted.

"What is it that you need?" Sango, Miroku and Inuyasha had started working here at the same time about two years ago and had formed a friendship over time, she'd do anything for them, and she knew without a doubt that they'd do anything for her.

Kagome showed up in the practically empty, save for one other truck that she assumed belonged to Inuyasha, parking lot at seven-fifty and parked her car next to his truck. She turned her car off before stepping out and walked towards the entrance. She wore a black lacy camisole that was opaque where her breasts were but see-through with a flowery design on her midriff. She paired the shirt with a pair of dark blue jean booty shorts and her white slip-on shoes. As she approached the entrance, she saw Inuyasha leaning up against the gate as he waited for her.

"Hi!" Kagome chirped with a smile as she stopped in front of Inuyasha. She couldn't lie to herself; she was super excited for tonight. She figured that her friends were right, it had been long enough, and she decided that she was ready to start putting herself out there and go on dates again. Inuyasha had lit a fire within her that she was afraid had been forever blown out, it made her feel alive, and she never wanted to lose that feeling ever again.

"Hey." Inuyasha responded with a half smirk before pushing off the gate and turned around to unlock the gate to grant them entrance.

"Inu, what are you doing?" Kagome asked in a panic as she gripped Inuyasha's sleeve before jerking him back. She might have lived her life on the edge with many things, however, breaking and entry wasn't one of them.

"Relax, Kitten." Inuyasha mumbled as he pushed the gate open and gestured for her to go inside ahead of him, however, she just took a step back. "Come on, I promise, we won't get into any trouble by being here." He swore as he held his hand out to her.

"And how do you know that?" Kagome asked as she stared at his hand while biting her lower lip in thought.

"My mom and pop own the park." Inuyasha responded as he jerked his head towards the park in question. "I told them what I was planning on doing tonight and they've given me the green light to do it."

"O-okay." Kagome mumbled as she placed her hand in Inuyasha's still waiting hand and gasped as the same electrical spark zapped through her body as he folded his hand around hers. They walked through the park for a few minutes before coming up to his ride's deck. The trail there was beautifully lit up with thousands of white lights that wrapped around the trees and hung from the branches. It was absolutely beautiful and had her breath getting lodged in her throat at the thought of him going through all this trouble of making things pretty for her. She could even hear soft music playing in the background, everything was just perfect and had her heart melting. They came upon a large red and white checkered picnic blanket that didn't have anything on it like Kagome expected it would. However, before she could ask about it, he led her towards the food truck she and her friends had ordered from earlier that day.

They looked at the menu as they tried to decide what they wanted. Kagome ended up ordering a slice of pizza with a bread stick and marinara sauce with a coke to drink while Inuyasha ordered some ramen with a Dr. Pepper to drink.

Once they had their food, they both sat down on the blanket and Kagome stared out at the water and smiled. It looked so beautiful with the full moon shining brightly on the water. "It's so beautiful." She whispered just as a gentle breeze caught her hair and blew it around for a bit.

"Yes, beautiful." Inuyasha mumbled under his breath, however, he wasn't looking at the water - he was looking at Kagome.

Kagome turned her head to face Inuyasha, her breath hitching in her throat at the absolute adoration swimming in his golden eyes. "Inu." She whispered out as he raised his hand to gently tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

"Kitten," Inuyasha sighed as he cupped his hand over her cheek, "I don't know what you're doing to me. Before you came here today, I was dead set on not being with anyone anytime soon, if ever again, but when I saw you standing on my deck waiting for your turn - something just clicked in my heart, and it welcomed you in with open arms without a second thought." He admitted with a soft chuckle as he ran the pad of his thumb gently back and forth on her cheekbone. "I don't know anything about you, except for your first name, but I am willing to spend however long it takes to learn everything that makes you, you."

"Inu." Kagome whispered again, lacking the thought process of thinking of anything else to say at the moment, as she brought her hand up to cover over his on her cheek while she leaned her hand further into his hand.

"Tell me about yourself, Kitten. Please, I-I need to know about you." Inuyasha whispered as he did one more swipe of his thumb over her cheekbone before sighing quietly and dropping his hand to grab his chopsticks to swirl some of his noodles onto his chopsticks and take a bite.

"Oh, jeez." Kagome mumbled with a slight blush on her cheeks. "Um, what do you want to know?" She asked as she grabbed her pizza and took a bite, chewing it thoughtfully.

"Everything, Kitten, I want to know what makes you, you." Inuyasha admitted. "What makes you laugh? What makes you cry? What makes you tick? Everything, tell me everything, please. Start from the very beginning. I wanna know about your past, present and future."

"O-okay." Kagome mumbled, her blush growing darker and her heart racing at the passion in Inuyasha's voice. The raw truth that he really wanted to know about her life had her stomach erupting in butterflies. "My name is Kagome Marie Higurashi, I was born April 30th, I'm twenty-three and in college to become a nurse where I'm top of my class and can't wait till I graduate and find a job in the city's hospital. I always had the same 'grab the bull by the horns' lifestyle since I was a child - I used to give my mother a heart attack every second of every day, probably still do, to this day." She snickered, making Inuyasha chuckle softly. "When I was six, we moved here from Hiroshima to basically start a new life. My father's boss transferred my dad from there to here and we've been here ever since then." Kagome mumbled with a shrug. "When I turned thirteen, I kind of got mixed up with the wrong crowd. I had a period of time when I was big into the party scene. I got pretty bad, I was drinking every night, stealing, skipping school, having sex a lot. I ended up dropping out of school when I found out that I'd have to repeat the tenth grade. I started drinking a lot more, starting earlier and earlier in the day, however, that all changed when I turned sixteen. I overdid it while drinking that night while celebrating my sweet sixteen with who I thought were my friends. I woke up a few days later handcuffed to a hospital bed, they said that I had extreme alcohol poisoning, and my heart had stopped twice." She admitted with a sigh while looking down at the red and white checkered blanket that they were sitting on. "They also told me that I was under arrest for stealing the alcohol that had almost taken my life that night." She let out a humorless laugh. "They informed me that my 'friends' left me there, in the front yard of the abandoned house that we were partying in, to die. Luckily, the neighbor came out to walk his dog and saw me lying there and called the police."

"What happened then?" Inuyasha asked, soaking in everything that she was telling him. He adored her so much right now for opening up to him and letting him know everything about her, the good and the bad. He fucking loved her crazy, risk-taking side, however, he wanted to kill her 'friends' for allowing her to almost die. He wanted to kill every man who dared lay a finger on what was his, though he'd never hold that against his Kitten - they weren't together at that moment, plus it wasn't like he was a virgin either. He too had multiple sex partners in his lifetime, so, no, he'd never blame her for losing her virginity before they met. There was no way of knowing either one of them would find each other and simultaneously falling hard for one another.

"I went to court when I got released from the hospital." Kagome continued with a sigh. "Since it was my first offense that they knew of, I basically got a slap on the hand and two years of probation with the promise the offense being wiped off my record as long as I didn't get into any more trouble while on probation. I also had to attend AA meetings as well as to sign myself into a rehab center, where I stayed there for a few months just to make sure I was mentally good enough to not ever do something as stupid like that ever again. I finished my two-year timeout without getting into any trouble. I dumped those friends of mine knowing that I'd only get into more trouble - or worse - if I were to stay around them. I haven't had anything to drink since then and have been doing great." She smiled at Inuyasha before continuing. "I got my GED and got accepted into the nursing program at University of Tokyo where I met my new best friends; Eri, Ayumi and Yuka - they're great. I also met my ex-boyfriend at college as well, we dated for two years before he broke up with me because he was mad that he couldn't stomp out my wild side. It hurt, I'm not gonna lie, because I thought that maybe he'd just let it go - y'know? It almost crushed my will to live life on the edge, I wanted to squash that part of me out in hopes that I could get him back. I was stupid, but my friends wouldn't let me do that anyway, they repeatedly signed us up for any extreme taking activities and I quickly let die the idea of ever stopping that part of myself again. I've completely moved on from him and his 'spend the whole day on the couch watching TV' idealism."

"Damn, Kitten." Inuyasha mumbled with a low whistle of sympathy, though he wanted to find her piece of shit ex-boyfriend and beat the shit out of him for trying to force his Kitten to change anything about her life. However, no matter how mad he may be, he was also extremely happy that her ex was a stupid moron and did that because if he wasn't then he'd never have a chance to be with her like he was now. "That's tough."

"I have no one else to blame but myself." Kagome murmured with a sigh and a shrug. "All I can do is learn from my mistakes." She looked at him with a small smile. "What else would you like to know about me?"

"I want to know everything." Inuyasha responded with a nod as he scooted closer to her.

Kagome's smile widened before she continued. "I have a brother that's about four years younger than me, named Sota, a mom, dad, a grandfather and a fat cat named Buyo. My favorite colors are green and orange, I hate imitation food, I prefer real food over anything fake."

"Imitation food?" Inuyasha asked confusedly as he cocked his head slightly to the side.

Kagome couldn't help but think he was absolutely adorable when he was confused. She let out a small giggle before explaining herself. "Yeah, you know, like tofu, soy, any milk that's not whole milk, imitation crab - things like that.

Inuyasha's ears twitched energetically trying to catch every word that she spoke, not wanting to miss even the smallest things. "I can't stand food like that!" He exclaimed as he scrunched his nose in disgust. "It should be illegal with how flavorless it is!"

"Right!?" Kagome exclaimed as she threw her hands up over her head in excitement that someone actually understood where she was coming from. Her friends, though they did eat meat, they also ate meat replacements if meat is not available at a certain place. They never really fully understood why Kagome was so against eating tofu, soy and imitation meat products thinking that they tasted alright to them. However, they knew why she was so against it but still, they always told her that it wasn't so bad though, they never degraded her or tried to force her to eat what she didn't want to. "Finally, someone gets it!"`

After they shared a laugh together, Kagome sighed with a wide smile as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before continuing. "What makes me happy is feeling free, free to do as I please. I love cooking, dancing, singing, and taking at least one risk a day. The weightless feeling that comes with being up in the air or swimming and feeling free, free to do as I please, whether that'd be taking risks or choosing what I eat. My ex tried to force me to quit eating meat, we've had several fights over it whenever I would order something with real meat in it. I hate when people try to change me, my mom tried to stomp out my wild side for a while but stopped when she found out that I wouldn't change. I was blinded at the fact that my ex was trying to do the same thing, I mean I was aware that he was, but I ignored it. As for the future I want to stay in the city, graduate from college, be accepted at the hospital, I want to get married and have a big family, at least four or five kids."

"That's some life you've had there, Kitten." Inuyasha mumbled, however, Kagome could tell it was in a nonjudgmental way.

"Yeah." Kagome sighed before looking at him with a small smile. "What about you? I wanna know all about you as well."

"Hmm," Inuyasha hummed as he leaned back, supporting his weight on his hands, before stretching out his legs and crossing his ankles. "Let's see, well, my name is Inuyasha Takahashi, I'm twenty-eight, my birthday is April first, and my favorite color is red. I also love being up in the air, I was obsessed with it growing up. For my thirteenth birthday, I got my very first water jet and worked to learn how to ride it every day after school and on the weekends. Crashing several times while I learned how to ride it properly, it took me years to learn how to effectively control it."

Kagome envisioned a young Inuyasha crashing into the water over and over again and couldn't help but laugh at what her mind made up.

"Oi, what are you laughing at?" Inuyasha asked in mock anger.

"I'm... I'm sorry! I... just pictured... you crashing... into the water... and it was... really... funny!" Kagome spoke between laughs.

"Keh," Inuyasha scoffed with a half-smile, proud that he was able to make her laugh, he loved her laugh, he was addicted to the sound and always wanted to hear it, "cheeky, Kitten, real cheeky."

Kagome stuck her tongue out at him playfully, making Inuyasha chuckle while silently wondering what her tongue tasted like.

"I really only had one good friend growing up and he's still my friend to this day," Inuyasha went on with a shake of his head, banishing the thought of her tongue in his mouth, "his name is Miroku and works with me, riding his jet boat around the water while I am giving rides just to make sure nothing goes wrong. I have a mom, dad and an older half-brother named Sesshomaru, we weren't really the closest growing up - more or less just tolerating each other while we lived in the same house. He lives on the other side of town now with a wife and kids, we only see each other two or three times out of each year for holidays but other than that we rarely ever see each other which I'm just fine with - he's an asshole."

Kagome snorted at that, she knew how it was having family members like that, and it wasn't really pleasant, she tried her hardest to always stay away from them. "I know how that is. I have an aunt and cousin who think they're better than everyone else in the family because they have more money than everyone else. It's really irritating trying not to scream and physically harm them when we have a family get together."

It was Inuyasha's turn to snort at what Kagome said. "Agreed." He mumbled with a laugh before continuing. "Anyway, I was once set to be married about a year ago but that ended when I found her in my bed with my cousin. Turns out that they had been sleeping with each other for the last three years of our five-year relationship."

"Ouch, that's harsh." Kagome mumbled with a wince, though she couldn't help but silently thank that nameless girl for being such an idiot and betraying the hottest man that she had ever laid eyes on.

"Yeah, I was pissed, especially since all she did was throw that I was cheating on her in my face when I wasn't and threw them both out of my house. I was in a dark place for a while after that, missed a lot of work, cut off connection with everyone. Miroku and my parents came by after about a month of not seeing me or hearing from me and basically demanded that I get my ass out of bed, forced me to come back to work and to move on from what happened - I am forever grateful to them for doing that." Inuyasha sighed with a small smile ghosting on his lips, he couldn't ever thank his parents and Miroku enough for that day, without them he didn't know what would've happened to him.

She felt incredibly guilty for accusing him of sleeping with every girl that came to the park, even before knowing that his ex accused him of the same thing, she was wanting to apologize to him about that. Knowing that his ex threw that in his face whenever she could only to cheat on him made her want to apologize even more.

"Inu, I'm sorry that I accused you of sleeping with most of the girls at the park, that wasn't right of me to say that." Kagome mumbled as she looked down at the picnic blanket.

Inuyasha hooked a finger under Kagome's chin, lifting her face so he could look into her eyes. "Keh," he scoffed gently with a small smile curling his lips, "'s fine, I know you didn't actually mean what you said - it's just a sore spot with a shitty memory attached to it." He whispered as he shifted his hand to cup her cheek so he could run his thumb along her cheekbone once again.

"I enjoy my job with my whole heart - however - it irritates me when women are extra grabby." He put that last part in on purpose just to see what Kagome's response would be, he smirked when her face turned from curiosity to a glower. "Don't worry, Kitten, I don't reciprocate the touches, in fact, they piss me off to the point I want to 'accidentally' drop them into the water."

Kagome snorted out a laugh, immediately losing her ire at the handsy women since their touches weren't reciprocated and were unwanted.

Taking a deep breath and taking a huge risk of making a huge fool of himself, Inuyasha raised his hand up to brush his fingertips lightly across her cheekbone - secretly reveling in her quiet gasp. "However, if it were you that was touching me during the ride, I wouldn't mind so much."

"Hmm, is that so?" Kagome replied with a coy smirk.

"Yeah." Inuyasha mumbled as their faces started to get closer to each other, however, just barely remembering that they weren't the only people there, he cleared his throat before leaning away from her with a blush across his nose causing her face to rival that of a tomato as she looked away from him. "Anyway, um, I also enjoy living life on the edge and going on adventures, camping, taking a daily run through the woods in my backyard, I enjoy extreme sports as well as collecting katanas and practicing with them at least three or four times a week. I also don't want to leave the city, there's too much going on for me here to want to leave. I would like to settle down and get married as well as have kids, eventually, and just be around the people that I deeply care about." He went on, smiling slightly when Kagome turned back to face him with interest painted on her face.

"And would I be one of those people that you keep around you?" Kagome asked bravely, though her blush was still in place, as she moved closer to Inuyasha.

"Hell, yeah." Inuyash mumbled with a smirk as he too moved to sit even closer to Kagome before looking up at the sky, Kagome looking up at the sky with him. "I also don't like fake food, or anything overly spicy-"

"What?" Kagome asked, interrupting Inuyasha with an incredulous look. "Spicy food is the best."

"How can you stand to eat anything so hot that it burns your tongue!?" Inuyasha exclaimed as he tossed his arms up over his head in mock frustration.

Kagome snorted at his antics. "You just don't know what's good."

"Keh, sure Kitten." Inuyasha scoffed before standing up and offering his hand to her, smirking when she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Come on, that's enough talking for tonight." He mumbled, still holding his hand out to her. "Let me take you on a ride."

Kagome's smile widened across her face as she nodded her approval while she placed her hand in his so he could hoist her up and lead her to the deck. She noticed that the guy that drove the jet boat and the girl that ran the food truck were in the jet boat getting everything ready for them. Inuyasha got busy securing the water jet to his feet before nodding towards Miroku to turn it on. Once on, he did a few tricks and a couple laps around the water to make sure everything was working properly and was connected right before lowering back down to the deck and reaching a hand towards her with a half-smile on his face.

Kagome immediately took his hand, letting him pull her on the water jet with him before he promptly picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. He placed an arm around her waist while the opposite hand gripped the back of her neck, securing her tight against his body while she laid her head on his shoulder.

Inuyasha started the ride by circling around the water while changing their altitude. He'd dip them down close to the water's surface before shooting them back up at a fast speed, loving the way she laughed as she tightened her grip on him. He did this several times, as Miroku and Sango were driving in the jet boat while they did their ride just in case something went wrong, before he did three backflips. He instructed her to let go of his neck and when she did, he spun them around making Kagome fall back with her legs still wrapped around his waist and her arms spread out above her head. After several spins, he stopped spinning and brought her body up against his again before telling her to hold her breath and dived into the water a couple of times then shot them up into the air with Kagome's shrill laughter in his ear. He shifted his hold on her to a bridal style hold before spinning several times, doing a couple more backflips and a few more dives. He placed her back on her feet before wrapping her arms around his waist and one of his arms secured around her, spinning around several more times causing her bottom half to fly out away from his body - her laughter was music to his ears. He stopped spinning and just floated in the air while looking deep in her eyes. He brought a hand up to gently brush her hair out of her face before lightly tracing her jaw line down to gently grip her chin. Kagome's breath hitched in her throat as her heart soared at his words. "Inu." She whispered as she brought her hands up to cup his cheeks before bringing him down for a hot searing kiss that spoke of all the emotions that she was scared to say out loud.

Inuyasha heard them loud and clear as his heart skipped a beat as he poured his own emotion into the kiss while he moved his hand to cup the side of her neck. God, he felt like the luckiest bastard alive right now. He pulled away before coming back in for a longer, hotter kiss and pulling away once again and rubbed his nose against hers. "Kitten, what the hell are you doing to me?" He asked with affection deep in his voice.

Kagome couldn't answer him because she wasn't sure what was happening either, whatever it was, she didn't want it to end.

Inuyasha sighed as he moved away from her so he could grab his shampoo bottle and squeezed some onto his hand to rub gently in her hair. She moaned and closed her eyes while he worked his magic fingers as he massaged the shampoo into her hair. Once the shampoo was lathered into her hair, he gently pushed her under the shower head to rinse her hair. He then repeated the process with his conditioner before grabbing his puffy and putting his body wash onto it and washing her body. Once her body was lathered up with body wash, he led her back under the shower spray to rinse her off.

Kagome repaid the favor by washing Inuyasha's hair and body for him in return.

Once their shower was done and they were dried, they walked out of the bathroom. Kagome bent down to grab Inuyasha's shirt before putting it on, it reached her midthigh, so she didn't bother putting anything else on. She heard Inuyasha growl in approval from behind her, making her giggle as she skipped out of the room.

Inuyasha quietly chuckled to himself as he walked to his closet to put on a pair of boxers and sweatpants before quickly leaving the room to see where his Kitten had skipped off to. He walked through the living room, and not seeing her in there, he ventured into the kitchen and leaned against the door jamb as he watched her make herself acquainted with his kitchen. He watched as she opened the refrigerator, bringing out his eggs and a can of biscuits and laid them on the counter before opening up the freezer and taking out some bacon and placed it beside the eggs and biscuits. She then went about looking in cabinets for a frying pan, letting out an 'ah-ha' as she held up a frying pan in one hand and a cookie sheet in the other in victory before placing the pan on a burner on the stove and turning it on as she placed a dab of olive oil in it, moving it around and waited for it to heat up as she popped open the can of biscuits before putting them on the cookie sheet and placing them in the already pre-heated oven.

'Hmm, I could get used to this.' Inuyasha thought to himself as he pushed his body away from the door jamb before making his way over to where she stood and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. He watched as she placed the strips of bacon into the hot frying pan and watched as they started to shrivel up before he turned his head and started to place open mouthed kisses on her neck.

Kagome sighed in happiness as she leaned further back against Inuyasha's body as she flipped the bacon over so the other side could cook. Once the bacon was done cooking, she placed a paper towel on a plate before putting the bacon on top of it. She then went about cracking a couple of eggs, cooked them and placed them on a plate. She then checked the biscuits before taking them out of the oven and placing the hot cookie sheet on a hand towel that he had on the handle of the oven door.

Having his arms still wrapped around her, Inuyasha nibbled on Kagome's neck before turning her around to face him, picking her up and placing her on the counter as he wiggled in between her spread knees.

"Inu." Kagome mumbled as she placed her hands on his shoulders as he ran his nose up and down her jawline while squeezing her hips with his hands.

The food was cold like Kagome knew it would be, however, she couldn't bring herself to be mad about it as she looked up with a small smile watching him eat like a starving man before digging into her own food. She couldn't lie, cold food never tasted so good.

"What have you got going on today?" Inuyasha asked as he took a drink of his coffee.

"Mmm." Kagome mumbled around a bite of eggs as she chewed before swallowing and answering. "I have to leave here soon." She informed him as she looked at the time on her phone. "I have to go home and get ready for some classes I have today. I have to foreshadow some nurses for a while starting tomorrow. If I do well with this type of training, then I can graduate in little over a year, and they'll have a job open for me once I get my diploma."

"That's great!" Inuyasha exclaimed with a proud smile curling his lips. He was legitimately happy for her and how well she was doing in her life after all the shit that's happened in her life.

Kagome beamed at Inuyasha's obvious praise over her accomplishments as her heart soared with emotions that she wasn't quite ready to admit to or even to be feeling. She ate her last piece of bacon before looking back at him with her smile still in place. "What are you doing today?"

"I have to go to work today." Inuyasha answered as he finished up his coffee before standing up with his dishes and grabbed her dishes before placing them in the sink to be done later. "Do you have anything going on after class?"

"Mmm, not at the moment I don't." Kagome answered as she stood up and walked over to stand in front of Inuyasha with her hip leaning up against the counter. "Do you have anything going on tonight?"

"Nope." Inuyasha responded with a shake of his head. "Ain't got nothing going on. Why don't we do something together?"

Kagome beamed him with a truly dazzling smile that just about blinded him. "Sure. You wanna drive me to my car so I can go home and get ready for class?"

"Only if you give me your number so I can call you after I get off, Kitten." Inuyasha replied with a smirk.

"Deal." Kagome nodded as her smile widened as they traded phones to put their numbers in before handing them back.

Inuyasha then drove her to her car, however, before she could get out, he grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and pulled her in for a hot, searing kiss that left her absolutely breathless and pulled away a few seconds later with a sinful smirk curling his lips. "See you tonight, Kitten."

"O-okay, see you later, Inu." Kagome replied as she placed a shaky hand on the door handle before opening the door and getting out.

Inuyasha watched as Kagome drove away with a soft look, not knowing how he got so fucking lucky to have her walk into his life the way she did. He didn't know what he did to deserve her but damn, he was going to make sure he'd never ruin his chance with her. He sighed as he stepped out of his car and walked towards the park, setting out to start his workday, praying that it didn't drag on - wanting it time to move as fast as possible so he could be with his Kitten again.

Pulling into the college's parking lot about an hour later, Kagome sighed before pulling the sun visor down to look into the mirror that was affixed to the inside. Sighing again as she tried to her best to cover Inuyasha's marks that he left on her skin as much as possible but giving up soon after, knowing that it would be impossible to cover the ones on her throat and clavicle. She sighed a third time as she exited her car, knowing that she was about to face a whole lot of questions from her friends as well as a whole lot of stares and whispers from the people she didn't talk to. She honestly didn't care, she loved every minute of Inuyasha putting these marks on her and she would wear them with pride and face all the scrutiny that the people that didn't really know her all that well would throw at her.

A small smile curled her lips as she started her way towards the doors that would allow her entry to the cafeteria where she saw her friends sitting at a table and looked to be sharing their homework with each other as they finished up with the last finishing touches of the assignments that were due today.

"Hey girls, how are you doing this morning?" Kagome chirped as she placed her messenger bag on the table before sitting down and taking out her homework. She had it finished, she just wanted to go over it once again to make sure all the answers were satisfactory before turning it into the teachers.

Eri, Yuka and Ayumi all looked up with smiles on their faces, they were all curious as to how her date went with the water jet guy. They were so happy that she seemed to be moving on and getting herself back into the dating pool.

"Hey, Kags, how did your date go last night?" Yuka asked, she was too excited for small talk and wanted to know everything that happened the previous night.

"Oh, I think I can tell how it went." Eri replied with a knowing smirk on her face as she eyed the marks that littered Kagome's skin.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ayumi asked, not yet noticing the love bites on Kagome's neck.

Kagome blushed as she tried but failed to move her hair to cover the marks, however, even though she was embarrassed, she smiled a small smile as she looked at the girls. "My night went perfectly, he made me feel a way that I've never felt before. He made me feel so alive and reignited a spark within me that I thought was forever burnt out. He's everything that I didn't know I needed in my life, it kinda scares me how fast this is moving but I don't think I'd be able to stay away from him for very long. I'm not sure what he's doing to me but I'm willing to wait forever to figure it out."

The three girls that were sitting in front of Kagome all looked at each other wearing matching knowing smiles, they were all so happy that she finally moved on to someone seemingly a thousand percent better than her crappy ex.

"Would we be able to formally meet him soon?" Eri asked with a smile pointed at Kagome. She wanted to get to know the guy that was able to steal one of her best friend's heart overnight.

"Sure, I don't see why not." Kagome responded with a smile and a nod. She would love to have her three best friends and the guy that she was quickly falling for meet and form a friendship between them. "Hey, Ayumi, I am not confident in my answer on question three for chemistry, what did you get?" Ayumi was the smartest out of the group and got all the best grades, so whenever one of them had a question on a homework assignment they always went to Ayumi for help.

The four girls spent the rest of the breakfast hour trading answers and notes that some of them didn't jot down fast enough before the whiteboard was erased.

About thirty minutes later, the bell that indicated that classes were about to start sounded and the students that were in the cafeteria started to walk to their assigned class.

Kagome and the girls hurriedly put their books and papers away in their bags before starting their journey to their first class, they were all in the same major, so they shared all the same classes. However, as they were about to walk out of the cafeteria, the college mean girls walked behind Kagome and her group of friends.

"Oh, look, it looks like someone went whoring last night." The lead mean girl snickered, making her two lackeys laugh as well. She was pretty enough with long straight black hair that reached her waist, pale skin and cold black eyes that gave Kagome and her friends a chill of trepidation if they looked in her eyes. They couldn't explain it, there was just something that was off about the girl.

"Shove it, Kikyo!" Eri shouted as they turned around to face the mean girls. "You don't have any idea what you're talking about so butt out!"

"Yeah," Yuka added as she took a step further, "Kagome has found someone special to her and they shared something last night that is completely normal for people that are in love!"

"Yeah, that's right!" Ayumi nodded in agreement.

Kagome listened to what her friends said with a bright red face as her heart pounded in her chest. 'Love? Is it even possible? There's no way that the feeling I've been feeling is love, we've just met yesterday! But, how else could I explain this feeling I'm feeling?' She thought to herself and decided that she'd put that thought to the side for later review, right now she had to focus on what was happening right now.

Kikyo scoffed with a roll of her eyes. "Whatever, at least I don't go and fuck every man that I see." She snickered again as she walked away with her two followers laughing behind her.

Yuka scoffed as she watched the mean girls walk away before turning back to face Kagome. "Don't listen to her, Kagome."

"Yeah, she doesn't know what she's talking about." Eri added with Ayumi nodding her agreement.

"Huh?" Kagome mumbled with a blush still on her face. "Oh, yeah, let's just get to class before we're late." She replied, dropping the subject as she started walking towards their class again.

After their three morning classes went by without any more major things happening, just some stares and whispers like she knew would happen. Thing was, she couldn't bring herself to care or regret the reason why they were there, and if she had it her way, she'd forever wear his marks for everyone to see. The bell rang indicating the end of the third class and the beginning of their lunch hour, they gathered up their things before venturing back to the cafeteria for lunch. As they all sat down with their lunches, Kagome's phone chimed to inform her that she had a message. Not thinking much of it, she fished it out of her pocket before unlocking the screen. A blush colored her cheeks when she saw that the message was from Inuyasha. She pressed on the notification and her heart skipped a beat at the picture that he sent her. He was topless with his red trunks in place on his hips and water dripped off his bangs and down his skin as he wore a sinful half-smile on his face, his eyes sparkled with mischief and dark promises that awaited her for that night. Her mouth watered, thinking how badly she wanted to lick the water droplets off his skin. She almost didn't notice the follow up message that read:

'How's your day going, Kitten?'

Kagome blushed as she saved the photo for, erm, later use before typing her reply that she was having a great day and asked him how his day was before sending it and shutting her screen off as she placed it back in her pocket.

"Why are you blushing Kagome?" Ayumi asked as she cocked an eyebrow at Kagome.'

"Ooo, did the water jet guy send you something?" Eri asked with a wide smile as she walked closer to Kagome's side. "I wanna see!"

"Yeah, I do too!" Yuka and Ayumi chimed in at the same time.

"His name is Inuyasha, and no you don't get to see!" Kagome replied as her blush darkened on her face. The picture he sent her would be hers and hers alone, no one was allowed to see it but her. She couldn't understand why really, but she felt very territorial when it came to Inuyasha. Maybe it was unhealthy to be this transfixed on someone, but she couldn't help it. She was very much so wrapped around his finger from the very first ride he gave her. She sighed mentally as she thought that maybe she should ask someone if she was getting too involved too quickly.

"Awe, why not?" Yuka whined as her shoulders dropped in disappointment.

"Because it's for me." Kagome quipped as she raised her chin up in finality. "Do I ask to see pictures of your boyfriend? No? Then don't ask to see pictures of mine."

"Ooo, so he's your boyfriend now?" Ayumi asked with a wide smile on her face.

Kagome stopped dead in her tracks with wide eyes. 'Is he my boyfriend?' She asked herself, she didn't know what title to give herself when it came to him. Sure, she would love to be his girlfriend, but it wasn't right or fair to him to automatically assume that's what he wanted. For all she knew, all he wanted was to mess around with her, and she couldn't lie to herself - that thought hurt like hell. She wanted so much more than that, she wanted them to belong to each other in a way that nobody would be able to come between them. She'd have to ask him later if that's what he wanted, God, she hoped that he did because that's what she wanted and if he didn't want the same thing, she didn't know what she'd do. Right now, as she went about her day, she already felt like she couldn't breathe right and that something was missing. Did she read his signs wrong? Was he only looking for a fuck buddy? Or did he want something more than that like she did? Ugh, this was all so frustrating! She shook her head to clear the thoughts and hard questions out of her head before starting to walk again, not answering Ayumi's question because she really didn't know the answer herself.

Right before entering her class, her phone vibrated with a new message. 'My day is going okay, would be better if you were here though.'

Kagome smiled as she read the message, all the thoughts of stupid classmates flew out of her head as she began writing out her reply. However, before she could press send, a new message came in that read:

'What, I don't get a picture in return?' Inuyasha asked with a sad face emoji.

Kagome snorted as she added some to her text before pressing send and pocketing her phone as she walked into the classroom as she bit her lip in slight worry.

'I wish I was there too. And I'm in my last class, I'll send you a pic when I get home. Hey, Inu, what are we? Would it be okay to call each other boyfriend and girlfriend?'

Kagome sat down with her blush still in place as she got out the things she needed for that specific class.

As she was writing down notes and listening to the lecture being given, her phone vibrated in her pocket once again. She peeked up at the teacher to make sure he wasn't paying attention before she brought her phone out of her pocket and unlocked the screen. What she saw on it made her heart pound in her chest as she felt her face heat up even more than before.

'I'll be waiting for the picture, Kitten, and if you don't think you're my girlfriend then you're crazy. You're mine, Kitten, and if anyone wants to take you away from me then they'd have to kill me first.'

It took everything in her power to not make an inappropriate sound right then as she read the words that were on her screen. Making it to the park in record time, Kagome quickly turned the car off before getting out and slammed her door shut as she ran as fast as she could to the entrance. She stopped at the booth that was placed right outside of the gate and paid the entry fee before running through the gate to where she knew Inuyasha's ride was located. Once she made it to the location, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the line was only two people long. She needed to be close to him as soon as possible for as long as possible. She ran to where the table that you pay at was and paid for a ten-minute ride before getting in line and impatiently waiting her turn.

She saw Inuyasha lower himself down to the dock to deposit the woman that he had given the ride to before picking the next woman up, starting her ride. He hadn't noticed her yet and she was practically bouncing with impatience where she stood. She watched as Inuyasha dipped, flipped, dived and spun the woman around with practiced ease. Well, she'll see just how practiced he was once it was her turn for her ride. She was feeling giddy, her heart pounded in her chest as she watched him doing his tricks.

A few minutes had passed when the ride he was giving finished, Kagome watched as he lowered them back to the deck so she could step off. He still hadn't noticed her, it was like he was on pilot mode, not really paying attention to his surroundings. He was just doing his job, getting paid and going home.

Ten minutes later, it was now Kagome's turn. She watched it in his face as he dropped the woman back off on the deck, looked up to see who was next, she watched as his eyes widened in slight surprise before a knowing smirk curled his lips and he curled his finger in a come-hither motion.

Kagome smiled wide as she ran to him before jumping onto him, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist and crashing her lips against his in a kiss that was so full of passion that Inuyasha almost forgot how to breathe. He wasn't doing much with his water jetting, just going around the water, doing some dips and a few lazy spins while being more focused on the woman in his arms.

Damn he wanted her to continue, fuck he needed it more than ever; however, he was sure he would have to kill anyone that saw his woman naked. Her body was for his hands to touch and for his eyes only to see. "If you don't want to be fucked right here on my deck for everyone to see, then I suggest you stop while you're ahead, Kitten."

Kagome's heart beat hard inside her chest as Inuyasha led her into a locker room before closing the door and locking it behind them. Her breath came out in pants as he slammed her against the wall before pushing his body tight up against hers as his nose traced her jawline.
