Kanto Gets Loud

(Pokemon X Loud House Story)

Hey guys, sorcererofthecosmos here, and here's my take on Silver_Nugget's Pokemon Loud Version: Kanto Story. This version will follow some key elements of the original story, but I've added my own touch to it, to make it different from the original.

Some key elements that are staying the same are that the story takes place during No Such Luck, Lincoln, Brock and Misty's teams being more or less the same (with some alterations), Lincoln's first three Badges, etc. Some things that are going to be different includes a plethora of characters that are non-canon from either series, whether they be OCs, or from other shows, such as Ed, Edd n Eddy, The Owl House, Amphibia, etc.

If you have any suggestions as to what you want to see in future chapters, such as what badges Lincoln earns (be them canon or fanon), or what kinds of Pokemon or events they encounter, then let me know in the comments. And much like how Silver_Nugget poses trivia questions for certain events, I will pose a question of my own at the end of some chapters.

With that all out of the way, enjoy!

Prologue To Adventure

It was a day like any other in the peaceful town of Royal Woods. People were out and about, going about their normal business, whether it was running errands or kids hanging out, everyone was having a great day. Everyone, that is, except for one boy, who sat grumpily on the front steps of his house, still dressed in his pajamas. This was Lincoln Loud, and the reason he was in such a foul mood was his family. You see, a few days ago, Lincoln was blamed for his sister, Lynn's loss at a softball game, one that she threatened him to go to. After the game, Lynn, labeled Lincoln as bad luck. That was when Lincoln concocted the stupidest idea he had ever thought: He carried on the lie of being bad luck to get some free time from the rest of his sister's activities. Things were going fairly well, until his family began to take things a bit too far. Lincoln was soon forbidden to be in the same room as his family, banned from participating in activities he would've liked to be a part of, such as going to the movies, and even having his room sealed off and being forced to sleep outside like an animal. It got so bad, that not even the pets wanted anything to do with him. Lincoln had tried to come clean, but his family just brushed it off, thinking he was just making an excuse to get back inside.

"I really hope Lynn wins her stupid game. I wish I never carried that stupid lie about Lynn's stupid bad luck," Lincoln grumbled, unaware that soon, his life would forever be changed for the better.

Meanwhile, down at the softball field,

"And there you have it folks, the Badgers win 7 to 3. The Squirrels have been on some kind of a bad losing streak for weeks, wouldn't you say, Pep?" the announcer asked.

"I really couldn't care less. The Squirrels' star player, Lynn Loud Jr. has never really struck me as being a good athlete. Just lucky," the announcer's bored co-commentator replied, sounding like he was struggling to stay awake. Down on the field, Lynn was fuming at the loss her team was handed. Everything that could possibly go wrong did. Margo's bat slipped out of her hand, Lynn threw several pitches that resulted in a home-run with all bases loaded, her teammates colliding with one another, as well as many other things. What Lynn couldn't fathom was how they lost. She did all of her good luck rituals correctly, and in the right order, but they still lost. Margo, along with the rest of the team looked on at their captain, stomping around in anger.

"Come on, Loud, just let it go! We can't be expected to win every game. We'll just practice more for next year," the coach said, trying to reign in the star athlete's anger. This action seemed to have the exact opposite effect.

"'Let it go'? 'LET IT GO'?! WE SHOULDN'T HAVE LOST! I did all the lucky rituals correctly, so there's no way we could've lost! There has to be a rational explanation!" Lynn yelled, causing the coach and her teammates to reel back. However, the coach stood her ground.

"Enough, Loud! Maybe if you spent more time practicing the game instead of those idiotic lucky rituals, then maybe we would've done better. Now, get over it, or I'm putting you on the outfield for the first few games next season," the coach warned. Lynn was still seething in anger, as she left the field, when it dawned on her. The reasons she believed was the cause of her team's loss; Luck. She then gnashed her teeth in pure rage.

"Stinkcoln, that good for nothing jinx! It's bad enough he broke my team's winning streak, now he has to ruin the championship too!? Oh, he's so going to get it when I get my hands on him!" she growled, as she stormed towards the car. Her teammates looked on in concern.
