Tigracho: Yeah, he's kind of like Superman if he didn't meet his parents on Earth. I guess. It's weird. All Narfi knew was his mission given to him by Shem-Ha. He was not a human. He was half Aesir half Custodian. Both of his parents are absent from his life. He learned as he went. And you know, now that I think about it it is pretty sad how he thought that if he did what he was tasked to do, they would come for him. But both of them were already dead by then. And yeah, lol. He pretty much went around having affairs everywhere, two of which were with Liang and Hyperion's predecessors. Yeah, you got that right. He became a hedonist because it pleased him. Temporary pleasure. No one could match him in combat. He was an alien, after all, and he fought mostly humans. So with nothing else in his life, he just ended it. He's kind of like the Diavolo infinite death loop. But his case is a little different. He keeps coming back to life, hoping to fulfill himself. To fight a fight that will finally satiate his hunger for something...anything he can get his hands on. That's why he got so excited when he fought Amy and Hajime. And why he loves the modern era since it has so many things to keep him entertained. But remember, he was out of commission for a while. No arms and no legs. Just sitting there, brooding. Well, it depends. Hajime only changed because of Hibiki. But yeah he wouldn't have become like Yomi. Sure, he'd keep seeking the next big high, but nothing as extreme. But you're right. Hajime probably has the lowest self-esteem in the story. Constant things and failures his experiences brought him to his lowest. He recuperated, yes. But he's not the happy boy he once was. I don't remember what chapter he said this, but it was recent. He said something about him not living for himself, but for those who love him and believe in him.
I think she was suicidal in G in this fic. Don't really remember. But the Kirika now is grown and more mature. Aside from Miku who had a panic attack, everyone else is pretty much persevering. They can't break down and cry. If they do, they know they won't be able to get up. And right now, Kirika wants to get justice for Hamaguchi. She lost a lot of her siblings, friends, and boyfriend, but she knows she can't fall yet. Not when his friends need it. The same goes for everyone else. They have moments of weakness, but none of them are giving up.
Right. Even if they don't mean it, Wei and Setsuna are already playing a big part in this whole mess. Hell, Setsuna activated Ragnarok. Also, no, all life on the planet is pretty much gone except for Japan. Hazuki wanted to save them for last to keep living their last days in fear and anxiety for defying him. You're not wrong on that. They did not act when Ragnarok kept destroying every country in the world. But this is because they were making preparations. Preparations which they need if they want to stand a chance. But yeah Hazuki would totally use that against Hajime. Honestly, I like Yumi. I wished I had done more with her, but I feel like she deserved some closure. Hajime telling her he killed Yomi and avenged her friends seemed like the right thing to do. And yeah, this is the typical subject of what would you do if the world was ending tomorrow. Do you want to die with regrets? So she told him, even though she knew his love was not for her. Hazuki is on a power high like everyone in his team. He thinks they're so above them that they wouldn't do something like that. And yeah, Tobias was the one who offered. That was;t in his calculations. It's the Mjolnir, but I was inspired by the Gleipnir. Oh, yeah. I can see Chris just going crazy on Despia and Despia just reacting to it. Maria probably wouldn't be as involved verbally, but when it comes to fighting, she's the first line of defense in their team. I want to save the Setsuna fight and not comment as much, but yeah, it's going to be harsh. Nightmare will probably be more action-based than emotional. But Yosuke does blame his weakness for not helping Hajime against Bragard back then. And then, Hazuki vs Hajime. I guess we don't have to comment much on this, huh? Honestly, right now, I don't have the guts to kill one of the Symphogear. Maybe that will change as I write! But I would feel bad. I love all of them. But Elsa...Damn, she made it pretty far, huh? She and Garie.

Lo esta pensando, pero me parecio un poco raro que mientras le este dando golpes empieza a nombrar a toditos los que mato Yomi. Estaria alli una hora. Si, Yomi pues es algo tragico en ese aspecto. No tenia motivos propios ni nada de eso. Solo tenia el poco placer que tenia de pelear y matar gente. Algo efimero. Y como dijo Hajime, eso nunca lo hiba a llenar su corazon. Nunca se abrio con nadie mas y nunca se molesto en intentar entender a los demas. Lo cual lo llevo a su muerte solitaria. Pense en cambiar el nomnbre a la forma pero la verdad no lo veo necesario. Es Oversurviva, solo que mejorada. Y claro, Odin ya demostrando que las Calamidades no le llegan a la suela de los zapatos. El plan nunca hiba a funcionar. Si crees que Hazuki y sus aliados son fuertes, imaginate al padre de todo en accion.

Lord RI Husbu King: Yeah they were in way over their heads with this. If Odin wanted he could have just killed Fenrir right there and then the plan goes to shit.

Dragstorm rider: This is it. They have to win and don't have the luxury to fail again. Right. Odin is still on a whole other level. The Calamities didn't stand a chance. We think Hazuki is scary now. But Odin is still waiting for his turn.
TheEmeraldMage: Yeah, about 5 chapters, including this one. But these are the final fights, so we gotta make them count. Honestly, I just gave Yumi some time for closure. She was pretty involved with the whole Yomi incident. And now, Hajime tells her that she can finally be at ease. And well, I like Yumi. I wished I did more with her, but this works just fine. Yeah, Hajime and Akira are close nowadays. You wouldn't think that if you read their first interaction in GX. But Hajime was pretty mentally unstable back then with the whole Bragard thing going on.
Ryugen: Honestly, I didn't plan this at all. I won't lie. But I'm happy it worked out. Red Dragon Emperor...I like it. Honestly, I like these cards better than the other ones. I'll use them, thank you. That's an awesome line. But you're right. This is it. The battle to reject the false reality.
Chapter 161
Duel on a Vanishing Planet - The Ultimate Fear
Fenrir slowly got back on his feet after being knocked out of the sky by Elsa, gritting his teeth."A surprise attack...I should have known better." He glanced up at the sky, glaring daggers at the pink-haired woman."How dare you lay a hand on me, mortal?!"
"Wei-kun!"
Wei shifted his attention to Shirabe and Kirika, both of them wielding their Amalgam forms.'Do they have a sufficient amount of phonic gain? I see. So the remaining humans must be the cause the Symphogear can use their powers so efficiently still. The power of songs.'
"Wei-kun...Please..." Shirabe stepped in front. Kirika let her talk but clenched her scythe in anticipation. Elsa landed on top of a building, analyzing the situation, lighting sparking through her claws."Please...Just stop."
"Stop? Stop?" Fenrir scoffed in indignation."Are YOU seriously asking me to stop?"
"Yes! Please, I don't want you to keep doing this! You...You...You helped in committing global genocide...separated countless families...killed countless people...Please...it's enough." Shirabe started to tear up, taking careful steps toward him. Fenrir flinched, taking a step back.
"There is nothing to go back to." He stood his ground, forcing Shirabe to stop advancing."I already decided. Nothing is stopping me from achieving peace."
"You're not like this, Wei...You're a sweet boy who cares about those around him. You love your video games...and I love to play them with you." Shirabe started to cry openly, letting her tears free."I know you're hurting...You're hurting so much, and you think the world boxes you in, leaving you no room to escape. But...I wanted to break you out of your shell and heal all of your wounds. The time we spent together...and the things we had in common...as well as your virtues and your personality...They draw me closer to you. We're similar...at one point, we both felt lost, as if we didn't belong anywhere. But just how I found a place to belong...I want you to feel that way as well."
Wei listened intently, as Shirabe slowly began to approach him again, extending her hand."You're not alone, Wei...Please, let me help you. I'll carry your sins with you and wait all I have to. Please...please...Let's go back together..."
"Why are you willing to go so far for me?" Fenrir finally asked."You see the state of the world, do you not? I helped create this. And despite that, you're here, trying to talk me out of this? Why?"
"Because I love you, Wei." Shirabe smiled despite her tears."Why would I not do this? Like I said, I'll help you atone for your sins...I know that deep down, you didn't want to do this, right? The same happened to my big brother. That darkness in your heart...it's what makes you do this. We can help you. Please, Wei...Please don't make me fight you...I don't want to see you get hurt."
Fenrir pondered on her words a moment before removing his helmet, heaving a long sigh.
"Look...It's not like I don't understand what you're saying. I do. I really do. I understand everything you're trying to say, Shirabe. Your feelings and thoughts. Your emotions. But...I feel nothing. It sparks no emotion within me. In fact...I honestly hate you for even suggesting I stop when I'm so close to reaching the perfect world I want."
Shirabe gasped, covering her mouth.
"How can you say that?! She loves you, dummy!" Kirika shouted, but Fenrir remained unperturbed.
"A God has no need for bonds. Nor does he need to follow the flock filled with ignorance. I already made my decision. You talk about how you're the "good guys" and how we're bad because we're destroying the world. But what about my family? What about my world? I lost everything that dark when I saw Bragard kill them all. Ever since I made my decision."
"What decision is that...?"
Fenrir put his helmet back on, huffing."To live without fear. I've known fear, ever since Bragard first slaughtered our family all those years ago. We feared living every day, thinking that we were going to be next. The day I lost what I had left, I had to run for my life with Xiangling in my arms. I stared death in the face more times than I care to count. Fear is all I've known. Well, no more."
The black Rider splayed his arms."I've taken a step forward in changing who I am. To leave behind my weaker self and become something more. Something...divine."
"What...?" Shirabe shook her head."But that's..."
"I discarded my weakness and finally became something. Long gone is the boy who was constantly glued to his video games. I am now much more than any being on this planet could ever hope to be. You wouldn't understand. After all, you, like the rest of your friends, are just human. If you wanted to avoid this, you should have done your damn job! How many times has the planet been in danger, huh? Around 5 or so. And it will keep going like this because you guys don't have a permanent solution. But we do. And thanks to us, the world will finally know peace. No more people will need to be afraid. No one else will have to hide because they're being persecuted. It all ends today."
"And your solution is to make others fear you...?" Shirabe scowled.
"If it works, it works." Fenrir narrowed his eyes, reaching for his Deck."That's why...if you insist on standing in my way...I will cut you down!"
Out of nowhere, a lightning bolt was shot from the sky, forcing Wei to leap into the air.
"I got you!" Elsa cried out, sporting a new attachment to her connector. This attachment was three chains with the heads of bloodhounds, lunging toward Fenrir and gracing his legs and arms.
Tail Armament: Gleipnir
Fenrir stumbled backward, leaping back to gain some distance, feeling his legs like jelly. He gritted his teeth, glaring at Elsa then back to Shirabe."I don't know what you're playing at. But this ends...NOW!"
Fenrir growled as he slowly began to morph into his giant form, only to revert to normal. He blinked, looking at his hands and noticing how he hadn't transformed. He shook his head."I SAID THIS ENDS...NOW!"
Once more, as soon as Fenrir started to grow, he shrunk back to normal size."What?! How?! Come on! What's going on?!"
He snarled, focusing her attention on Shirabe before jumping in the air, avoiding a kick from Elsa.."Oho! You think you're very clever, don't you?! Well, then let's see who has the last laugh! Strike Vent!"
Strike Vent: Murasame Smashers
Two metallic boots appeared around Fenrir's, serving as a second layer of armor. He raised his leg over his head, showing his incredible flexibility. He brought his leg down, firing a black slash from his leg that grew in size.
Elsa quickly changed attachments, now forming two domes and closing them around herself.
Tail Armament: Impact Bulldog
However, the slash pushed Elsa away, crashing into the ground.
'That woman...If I'm not mistaken, that's Allister's bitch. But since he's dead, we can kill her. I don't know how but she can weaken my powers but as long as I don't get touched by her weapons she's not a real threat. I should kill these two first, then-"
Kirika ignited her thrusts, immediately flying toward Fenrir as she twirled her psyche, lashing out a slash of green energy. Fenrir quickly kicked the air, canceling her attack with a slash of his own before dashing toward her, catching her off guard due to his speed. Fenrir, blocked the edge of her scythe with his forearm, quickly sliding between her legs by using her weapon to propel himself, appearing behind her. Before Kirika could turn around, he kneed her in the back of her head, almost knocking her out.
She went to raise her weapon, but he responded with another kick, this time, sending her stumbling forward. He then appeared in front of her, kicking her in the chin and sending her flying into the upper floors of a building.
"Kiri-chan!" Shirabe screamed, trying to rush in her help.
"Where do you think you're going?!" Fenrir skated over to her, activating 4 wheels that appeared underneath his shoes. Shirabe swung her yo-yo shield, but Fenrir easily batted it away with a kick and rocketed toward her, kicking her in her chest and causing her to spit blood. The girl crashed through several cars until she crashed against a pole, knocking it down.
A volley of lighting bolts came from the skies, but Fenrir easily dodged them by leaping away. He shifted his gaze to the left, noticing two jaw-like tail attachments from Elsa, sparking with electricity and shooting lightning bolts from their teeth. He used a building as footing to propel himself toward her, kicking the attachments away and kicking her in the face, sending her flying out of Tokyo and crashing into the Qliphoth Tree. As she bounced off of it, she received a knee to the stomach, earning a silent gasp before he slammed his elbow against the back of her head, sending her crashing to the docks. He morphed into his giant wolf form, shooting a barrage of energy beams from his mouth at her, creating an explosion.
'Seems that whatever she did to me has worn off. Interesting.' The God chuckled to himself."With my God-given power, I'll become the most powerful warrior this world has ever seen. And every living creature will come to know the name Wei Liang as their ruler. While Hazuki will rule in the shadows, I will be the representative, inspiring fear in others. From this point on, nothing can stop me. Not even your precious Lingyun."
"Divine Armament, Burst!"
Fenrir scowled, noticing a beam of lighting from below. Shirabe's armor was now silver with pink highlights and was brandishing two shield yo-yos in her hands. She also sported a lightning halo above her head and had two beautiful pairs of wings behind her alongside two lightning horns in the shapes of drills.
True Valkyrie Mode - Imperer
'What is this power all of a sudden...?' Wei couldn't believe his eyes, slowly descending back to the ground.
"Wei-kun...I will stop you. Even if you hate me. Even if you detest me...I will love you unconditionally. And I will save you from your darkness!"
"Strong bravado." Fenrir returned to his Rider form."But it's not going to be enough to stop a God!"
He sent several kicks toward the ground, but Shirabe responded by swinging her shields, creating a net of lightning to block the attacks and bounce them back.
Ultimate Ultra Style: Hollow Cage
"What?!" Fenrir began to breakdance in the air, sending a plethora of slashes toward Shirabe. Shirabe lashed out her shield yo-yos maneuvering them around gracefully and blocking the attacks not only with the shields themselves but also with the strings. Once they closed in on Fenrir, he blocked them with his legs. However, he felt his boots beginning to break, sending him flying back.
'That hurt! Could it be...The Godslayer power?!' Fenrir leaped back but Shirabe pressed forward, not allowing him a moment to rest. She used her new armored twin tails to create an extra pair of lighting wings, shooting a volley of lighting feathers at him.
Ultimate Ultra Style: Needle Shower
Fenrir started to breakdance one more, creating a small tornado and deflecting all feathers. However, the feathers had trapped him in a cage, becoming small drills before they started shooting lighting strikes toward him, creating an explosion.
'Wei-kun has no combat experience. He has God-like powers, but we have more experience than him. We can use that to our advantage."
From the smoke, a giant tail appeared, smacking Shirabe down to the ground before she could react. Fenrir partially transformed his body, morphing it back to normal before lunging at Shirabe, preparing to kick her at full speed. Shirabe created a spear of lightning, attaching her shield yo-yos to the side before jumping in the air, clashing with Fenrir. Fenrir started to continuously kick at her weapon, but with each kick, his boots started to break more and more. Once they shattered to pieces, Shirabe smacked him with the side of her spear, launching Fenrir skidding across the street.
"Impossible! How did that happen?!" Fenrir sat up, growling."You...You'll pay dearly for this, human!"
In the blink of an eye, Wei had disappeared, and before SHirabe knew it, she was kicked across the face, crashing face-first against the ground. He kicked her in the stomach, launching her toward a construction site and unleashing a volley of energy balls in her direction, watching them detonate in the distance.
"When are you going to get it? I can't be beat." He scoffed, slowly levitating into the air."Though if all of you have that kind of power and a way to attack Godly beings, then it's no surprise you all managed to defeat Yomi."
He heard a noise on his right, shifting his attention to Elsa as she floated over to a building next to him.
"Well, well. If it isn't my sister's replacement. Though I suppose I should have expected you to survive that kind of attack. After all, you are the Mjolnir Symphogear, no? Then again, if they got a thug like you to be a Symphogear, it's nothing but an insult toward the Liang family."
"You're wrong about two things." Elsa said with an expressionless face."I did not replace your sister. I am just a placeholder and an extra pair of helping hands to stop this madness. I don't know much about her. But what I do know is that she would be disappointed if she saw you right-"
"Spare me the lecture. You know nothing of Chao." Fenrir scoffed, crossing his arms."And? What was the other thing I was supposedly wrong about?"
"We did not beat Yomi Kugisaki together." A condescending smile appeared on her lips."Hajime Adachi did. By himself."
"What?! Lingyun did?!" Fenrir seemed visibly shaken."No...That can't be. He couldn't even defeat Hazuki before. Even with a similar power like Shirabe's...You're bluffing."
"It's not really up to me to deceive you or not." Elsa brandished her two tail claws and her gauntlets sparked with electricity."All I have to do is stop you. Plain and simple!"
Wolf Tail
Elsa created a slash of lightning with her claws, kicking it toward Fenrir as it exploded into several slashes.

Author's Note: Fun fact, Kana Ichinose is actually Elsa's Japanese voice actress. At first, I put the song here for Elsa to sing because I like it. But then I found out her voice actress made a cover for it! It's really good.)
Fenrir smirked, avoiding them with ease and blocking Elsa's claw with his arms. He saw the tail claws coming from the sides, immediately flying down to avoid them, grabbing her leg and slamming her against the rooftop of a building."Sword Vent!"
Sword Vent: Murasame Blade
"And next, another Sword Vent!" Fenrir unsheathed his black blade and it immediately became a rainbow.
Sword Vent: Retsu - Lightning
He slashed at the building, descending down and cutting it completely in half alongside the ground. A giant gash appeared on the outskirts of Tokyo. Fenrir turned around, parrying Elsa's claws with his blade. She began to rapidly swing her arms, but the Calamity Rider blocked all of her strikes with her. He saw her attachments had changed to jaw tails and were charging two lightning bolts. He quickly slashed them to pieces, going for a roundhouse, but Elsa managed to block at the last second.
Twirling his blade, Fenrir sent several rainbow slashes in her direction, forcing her to activate her dome attachments and cover herself before attempting to ram into her. Fenrir grew into his giant form, opening his jaws to eat her. However, Elsa quickly swapped to her new attachments, three chains with the heads of bloodhounds biting on Fenrir, making him howl in pain. He shrunk back in size, thrusting his sword forward. Elsa moved her head out of the way, but the blade managed to cut her cheek open before he headbutted her and kicked her away.
"What was that...?! Again!" Fenrir tried transforming once more, but was unable to."She's...weakening me even more..."
"I guess you don't know this..." Elsa coughed in pain, still holding a smirk."I indeed wield the Mjolnir. But I also have a special power specifically created to stop you. I'm sure you can feel it, being Fenrir's vessel, right?"
"Wait...You mean...How?! How do you...Wait, that's it...Thor!"
"That's right. He helped us forge them again. Gleipnir. The chains that bounded the giant wolf Fenrir. The power that can seal your power, albeit temporarily. I am your Achille's heel."
"You shouldn't have told me that. Because now I'm going to kill you!" He dived in, kicking Elsa in the chest and shooting her through several buildings. The girl continued her song, enlarging her claws with lightning and clashing attacks with Fenrir."You're the most important piece of this little operation, aren't you?! Then once I cut you down..."
Fenrir kicked Elsa away, raising his sword in the air and creating an explosion of colors as several beams of light erupted from his sword."Everyone will crumble as well!"
Elsa flew around the attacks, watching them destroy the area around them in an explosion of colors. She raised her hand in the air, creating a javelin of lightning and hurling it toward him. He easily parried the attack with his blade, sending a slash of rainbow in her direction.
She created a new attachment, two sharp blades in the shape of scythes, and connected them to her back. She started to spin around rapidly, forming a small tornado of lighting and cutting through the attacks while closing in on Fenrir.
Fenrir grinned, blasting himself toward her and stopping the twister with his blade. He slowed down her momentum until she completely stopped, flabbergasted and exposed."Nasty Vent!"
Nasty Vent: Beast Growl
Fenrir unleashed a powerful roar, causing Elsa's ears to start bleeding, and was sent crashing out of control toward the ground. For good measure, Fenrir flew down and landed on her stomach, earning a scream of pain as she vomited blood. She quickly lashed out her Gleipnir, grazing Fenrir and locking his power, but he laughed as he flew into the air again.

"That power is useless. Even if you restrain my power, I am still leagues above you." Fenrir raised his blade."You're not even worthy of standing before my eyes, scum."
"Y-you know...It's really sad to see this...A friend of mine, Angelo, often said how a man's dream is to have a wonderful girl by his side who loves him unconditionally. You have that...and despite that, you're not satisfied...Shirabe came here to tell you her feelings and save you-de-arimasu...Why can't you see that...?"
"If you want to blame anyone, blame her." He said, scowling."She and her friends failed time and time again to properly protect this planet. This planet doesn't need the foolish notion of friendship and hope. It needs a monster who is willing to bring terror to others to maintain peace. The world has been through enough for me to realize that I have the perfect solution. I can save the world. And all I have to do is kill you all...and become a monster."
"A monster...?" Elsa grimaced. She was all too familiar with that word."Why...?"
"You should know. A monster stands atop of humanity. A monster is a being with power that can strike fear in others, creating peace by making them submit. I learned that when Xiangling and I almost died to Bragard. That's all I thought about when I was taking her to a safe place while Lingyun went berserk. I realized that a simple human being could not hold a candle to pure, overwhelming power. That's why I have no remorse for turning my back on Shirabe. I already lost everything. What else is there to lose? In fact, I have everything to gain. Once I enter the dream world, I will create the world that I want. And soon enough, all of you will. And it starts with you."
"Then you'll have to forgive me, but I am just a support in all of this." Elsa chuckled.
"What do you mean?"
"The real stars...are about to take the stage." Elsa pointed behind him
Fenrir gasped as two silver pillars erupted from the ground.
"Divine Armament, Burst!"
The black Rider turned around, noticing Shirabe was accompanied by Kirika, who had entered a similar transformation to hers. However, she had two fins on her arms, and a shark tail, and her new Armed Gear was a chainsaw scythe.

"Interesting. But even with your combined powers, you won't even scratch me."
"We'll show you our real power!" Kirika grinned."Ready, Shirabe?!"
"On your mark, Kiri-chan!"

Fenrir slashed at the air, sending a rainbow slash, but the girls quickly avoided it and headed toward him.'Coming straight at me in a line? Now that's unfortunate. For you that is.'
However, Kirika swung her scythe, creating a wall of water that served as a smokescreen.
'What?!'
From the waster, several drills of energy shot through, heading for Fenrir, forcing him to focus on them and parry. Kirika and Shirabe came from the sides, Fenrir quickly got on the defensive, but the girls vanished before reaching him. He was confused, but then noticed them circling him from all directions."What's happening?! I can't even follow their movements!"
"Check out my speed now!" Kirika grinned, accelerating.
"Just watch this!" Shirabe smiled, their combined unison boosting each other's powers higher and higher.
Kirika saw an opening, and immediately went for a spiral kick, striking Fenrir on his arm and sending him flying away. Shirabe followed up by combining both her shield yo-yos and making them bigger, smacking Fenrir on the back and launching him toward the sky. Kirika flew past him, making a second copy of her Armed Gear as the chainsaws revved to life.
Chainsaw Massacre: The 13th Day
She swung the first scythe, but Fenrir parried with his blade. He saw the second scythe coming in his direction, but he stopped Kirika's arm by holding it down with his foot. However, Shirabe kicked him on his side, sending him flying away. She pulled on the cord of her shield yo-yos, shooting a volley of smaller lightning buzzsaws.

A second copy of Fenrir's double-edged weapon appeared in his free hand, as well as a new pair of boots with cannons at the bottom. He did a backflip, shooting a round of energy bullets at Kirika and shooting her down.
Shirabe landed on the rooftop, skating over to Fenrir and swinging her shield-yoyo's. He quickly ducked, kicking her in the chin and shooting a round of bullets in her belly with his other leg.
(He's going Sanji mode over here.)
Kirika's armed gear morphed into two giant chainsaws, hurling them toward Fenrir from afar.
"This again?" Fenrir easily avoided them, but noticing the lightning cable attached to them."Oh, I see-"
"No, you don't!" Kirika folded her arms as the strings closed in, tying Fenrir up and causing him to drop his blades. The chainsaws circled around, heading back toward him.
"A nice attempt, mortal!" Fenrir took advantage of his arms being closed to his body, drawing a card from his Deck."Sword Vent!"
Sword Vent: Ray Blade
Like Tsubasa, Fenrir now had blades located at his ankles. He quickly flipped upside down, spinning around and deflecting Kirika's attacks as the blades unfolded. With a roar, he powered up more, pushing Shirabe away as she was trying to sneak up on him. His bindings disappeared and he picked up his swords.
"He still had this much power...?" Shirabe muttered in disbelief.
'I can't fight them together.' Fenrir clicked his tongue.' Their unison gets my concentration out of wack. There's no need to keep playing around with them...'
Kirka and Shirabe suddenly appeared in front of him, attacking in unison. Fenrir had to block their combined attacks with all edges of his weapons, spinning around and flipping upside down every now and then to attempt to throw them off their game. However, when he pushed one of them away, the other one retaliated just as fiercely. Shirabe used her flexibility to maneuver around one of Fenrir's blades and jumped on top of his shoulders, grappling him with her things. Before he could respond, she bent back, flipping him upside down and slamming him against the ground. He grabbed her by the hair, pulled her in front of him, and went to stab her.
"I don't think so!" Kirika stabbed Fenrir's arm with her chainsaw blades, revving them up as he screamed in agony, tearing through his flesh. He instinctively turned giant against them, blowing them away with his breath before flying away.
"No more games! I'm going to show you the true power of a God, you damn swine!" Fenrir bellowed, shifting back to Rider size as his wound began to heal.
"Kiri-chan, he's getting serious."
"Good. Just as we planned!"
Kirika and Shirabe headed toward Fenrir, as he began to swing his blades, shooting circles of rainbow that cut through several buildings and the ground around them, leveling the city. Kirika and Shirabe flew around the giant colorful slashes, closing in on Fenrir. Once his arm healed, he gripped his weapons harder, flying to meet them in the middle.
However, as soon as he went for a strike, both of them turned left, heading toward the building next to them.
"I won't let you gain your momentum back!" Fenrir immediately chased after them, twirling both of his double-edged weapons in anticipation. To his shock, Kirika and Shirabe seemingly entered the mirror as he crashed into the glasses, landing on the upper floor of a business office, breaking through several desks and computers."What?!"
From behind him, Shirabe emerged from a glass door, kicking him on the back of the head and knocking him to the ground.
"Damn you!" He quickly fired an energy beam toward her, breaking the mirror as she entered it."Fuck! They're entering the mirrors...wait, the Mirror World?!"
"That's right!" Kirika lunged at him, her scythe transforming into a much larger three-bladed scythe with the blades arranged parallel like a claw.
Final Oppression: Neverland
Kirika flew toward him, tearing through the building around her as he jumped back, only to see Shirabe coming from behind with her monowheel.

Furthermore, several buzzsaws, drills, chainsaws, and slashes came from the mirrors around them and the neighboring buildings.
'So that's why they merged the Mirror World with reality and Helheim...They can bounce around the mirrors and bring things from the mirror world into existence!'
Fenrir touched the ground, shooting a massive energy beam, causing the building to start breaking apart. The ground beneath him shattered as he fell, avoiding the attacks.
The glass around them began to break, but Kirika and Shirabe simply opted to go toward the two buildings next to the one they were in. Kirika came from the left, her weapon changing back to her chainsaw scythes. But this time, Fenrir parried them with his blades, kneeing her in the stomach and kicking her up. He raised his legs, shooting a round of bullets toward Shirabe, forcing her to block with her shields. Fenrir flew around her, pulling her by the hair and kicking her back, sending her toward the sky.
In a flash of light, all three of them bounced from building to building, clashing against each other. Kirika kicked Fenrir's legs, causing him to lose his footing as Shirabe smacked him in the face with one of her shields yo-yos only to twirl around and strike him with the other one in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. Kirika followed up by uppercutting him and slashing his chest with her scythe. Both girls kicked him in the chest in unison, launching him through several buildings.
"Kiri-chan!"
"Yeah!"
Shirabe's Armed Gear grew in size, becoming a giant robot while Kirika's Armed Gear surrounded her, becoming a large scythe, with the mecha wielded.
Forsaken Night of Requiem
The mecha flew above Fenrir before descending at full speed, twirling its scythe. Both girls, who were located in the cockpit of the mecha, roared in unison, their powers bursting.
"I've had enough."

Suddenly, Fenrir moved at insane speeds past the mecha, appearing above it before slamming down against it with his blades, cutting its back, and morphing into his giant wold form to kick it to the ground. Fenrir's true power unleashed, now going from 15 meters to 30 meters in height as he descended toward the mecha, curling up in a ball as he started to spin around at insane speeds.
"Kirika! Shirabe!"
A robot silver wolf dashed toward the mecha. It was Elsa, who had all of her attachments to make a mecha of her own like she did in the past.
Hound of the Underworld: Cerberus
The mecha landed on top of the silver wolf and it started to run away before Fenrir crashed into the ground, chasing after them.
"Elsa-chan!" Shirabe shouted after noticing Fenrir closing in on them.
Cerberus made a quick turn, avoiding being squashed as Fenrir circled toward them again. Elsa lunged from building to building, as the mecha slashed the giant scythe, sending slashes of energy toward Fenrir. The attacks did not faze the giant wolf as he continued chasing after his prey.
Elsa entered the devastated district that Yomi left behind months ago, jumping from rock to rock to try to get more speed. All they could do was run.
"Enough running! Final Vent!" Fenrir started to spin even faster, charging up his attack.
Final Vent: Godsbane Fang
"Oh, no! We can't dodge that!" Kirika cried out.
"There! Elsa-chan!" Shirabe pointed with her mecha. A few meters away, was the giant crater where the remains of the Chateau were.
"Got it!" Elsa ran at full speed, her silver wolf's legs shining brightly and cracking the ground with every step.
"Sky Slicer!" Fenrir kicked his back legs forward, shooting a giant slash that cut through everything in its path.
"NOW!"
The wolf quickly jumped inside the hole just as the slash narrowly missed them, cutting the Chateau in half and causing it to collapse on itself.
"Damn it...I won't let you run!" Fenrir leaped in the air, charging a sphere of energy in his mouth before spewing a powerful beam from it. To his shock, the mecha had leaped into the air, the scythe transformed into a three-bladed scythe with the blades arranged parallel like a claw. Furthermore, Elsa attached two claws from the sides, hurling the combined weapon in the air. To Fenrir's surprise, the attack started to tear through his attack.
"The Godslayer and Messiah!" He bellowed, preparing another sphere of energy. However, three heads of hounds bit onto Fenrir. To his shock, Elsa had exited her silver wolf and used her Gleipnir once more while Fenrir was distracted. He started to shrink back in size, and his attack was overpowered by the girls'."Guard Vent!"
Guard Vent: Gaian Shield
Fenrir was covered by an energy barrier as the attack struck him. He was pushed into the sky as the attack created a huge explosion. From within the smoke, Fenrir was free falling from the sky, cracks around his armor.
"We can do it! We can win!" Kirika exclaimed.
"I'm exhausted...We've performed a lot of attacks together, and our unison is powering us up, but...I can't believe he's this powerful..."
"But that attack had to do something..." Elsa landed on the ground on all fours, panting.
Suddenly, they heard whistling.
Fenrir was whistling, half of his helmet breaking and revealing the left side of his face.
"To think mere mortals could do this much damage to me..." Fenrir muttered as he continued calling.
"Please, Wei-kun...Come back to me..." Shirabe begged.
"I'm so close...So close to seeing my family again. That fancy is finally within my grasp...Time to end this farce. Accel Vent..." Fenrir drew a card from his Deck, placing his feet against a wall as he slid down.
'Wait a second...He's using his legs...that posture...' Shirabe's eyes widened as Fenrir sheathed his Murasame Blade, bending his left leg and stretching out his right leg.
Accel Vent: Accel Speed
In the blink of an eye, Fenrir rocketed over to Shirabe. The girl was unable to respond properly, but Kirika was a step ahead. She had noticed Wei gazing at her sister with murderous eyes, and she instinctively pushed Shirabe as soon as Wei made a move. The Rider unsheathed his blade in an instant, blood splattering on the ground. Kirika fell to her knees, the right side of her neck having been sliced open as blood began to pool around her.
"KIRI-CHAN!"
Fenrir skidded a few meters away, glancing over his shoulder."I won't miss next time."
"Kiri-chan! Kiri-chan!" Shirabe was stopped by Elsa, who forced Kirika on her knees and faced the ground.
"I'll help her, Shirabe. Keep him distracted!"
"O-okay...!" Shirabe nodded, her eyes still glued to the blonde.
"Shirabe, listen to me. He was about to take your head just now. He's...in a whole other league than we anticipated. Without your unison, we'll die. I'll help Kirika as much as I can. Luckily, the blade missed a vital area in her neck. The cut is not too deep."
"Okay...Okay, I'll do it!" Shirabe quickly turned around, flying over to Fenrir.'Kiri-chan was about to sacrifice herself for me...I...I...'
"Okay, Kirika. Breathe calmly and keep that posture. If the blood goes inside, you'll choke to death. I'll stop the bleeding, but I need you to keep calm and breathe, alright?"
Kirika nodded shakily, breathing as calmly as she could, wincing in pain.
"How could you do that to Kiri-chan, Wei-kun?!" Shirabe unleashed a barrage of buzzsaws, but Fenrir avoided them with ease. He parried her shield-yoyo with his blade, grabbing her free hand and forcing her face close to his.
"You never stood a chance. Your reasons are nothing compared to mine!" He kicked her in the stomach before shoving her away."I'm the key to ending all of this! The key in finally bringing the peace you guys never managed to achieve!"
"A peace filled with blood is nothing but a nightmare! A horrible delusion!" Shirabe aimed her horns at him, charging a lighting drill toward him. He flew to the left, immediately appearing in front of Shirabe and blasting her away with an energy sphere.
She clapped her hands, conjuring hundreds of purple buzzsaws in the shape of rings and sending them to him.

Two crossbows mounted on Fenrir's arms immediately began shooting energy arrows, shooting the buzzsaws down."Accel Vent!"

Fenrir twirled around, getting closer to the wall of a building to attack. Shirabe paid close attention to his footing. Once he landed and got in position, she immediately arched her back, narrowly missing being split in two.
"What?!" Wei couldn't believe his eyes, skidding down on the ground."How...How did you dodge that?!"
"I anticipated your moves." Shirabe responded."Remember? You're the one who taught me the importance of footing. I saw where your feet were pointing at, and calculated your trajectory. Wei-kun...it was back when we were practicing for the ice skating competition...'
Shirabe fell on her rear once more, groaning in pain.
"That was a nice attempt." Wei skated over to her, offering his hand.
She sighed, accepting his hand as he pulled her up."Thanks. But it wasn't good enough. It's different from skating on ice than when I'm using my Gear. Twice as painful too..." The girl rubbed her aching rear."I'm scared I won't be ready for the competition..."
"We still got a time. Don't worry." The last remaining pure Liang said."You were doing good. You had great speed. You just need to control your footing more."
"How can I do that?"
"Well..." Wei squatted down, examining her thighs.
"W-Wei-kun?!" Shirabe blushed profusely, embarrassed to have him stare at her legs that close.
"Oh! Sorry!" Wei blushed as well, scratching his cheek."I was just examining your leg muscles. And from what I saw, you should be able to do it as well. The way I take sharp turns is by releasing an explosive power from my legs."
"What do you mean?" She tilted her head.
"When you turn..." He started to ice skate slowly before abruptly stomping the ground and quickly changing directions."...you use your leg muscles to stomp the ground. This allows your body to shift your weight in the direction that you desire. You can do a whole bunch of things with your footing. Your footing determines where your weight shifts. I've heard that soccer players can read each other's movements based on that."
"I see...Let me try." Shirabe started to ice skate at moderate speed then suddenly mimicked his movements, stomping the ground and abruptly changing her direction. She accidentally tripped, but Wei caught her in his arms before she could fall."Did I do it...?"
"You did!" He grinned."A little more practice and you will be an expert."
"Thank you so much, Wei-kun!" Shirabe wrapped her arms around his neck, much to his embarrassment."Thank you."
"Of course." He chuckled, rubbing her back."Let's do our best, together, okay?"
"...I did say that." Fenrir averted his gaze to the side."So what?"
"You remembered!" Shirabe smiled."Then you're still there, Wei-kun! Please, fight it! Don't let it control-"
He flew toward Shirabe, kicking her in the chest and crashing into a building with her. The blade of Zababa groaned in pain, grabbing at his foot, even trying to electrocute him, to no avail. He kept pressing down hard, earning a moan of pain.
"You still don't get it? You can't beat me. I'm beyond your understanding. Even the Gods themselves stood no chance against us."
"You're...wrong..."
"Huh?" Fenrir frowned.
"You're...Wei Liang...A broken boy...who I failed to save...Just like I failed to save Teru-onii-chan...I couldn't save neither of you from falling into the pits of despair..." She grabbed his foot, looking at him in the eyes."But despite that...I still want to save you...I still love you...Please, stop it already...Before you do something you can't take back..."
"Then, if you want to stop me..." Fenrir leaned closer, their faces inches from each other."You will have to kill me. There is no other way. You know that already...don't you?"
"Wei-kun..." Shirabe pleaded again."Please..."
"It's too late, Shirabe. It's far too late." Fenrir shook his head."I chose to live without fear. To never have to suffer what I suffered before. Compare to that day...you are nothing."
Fenrir kicked Shirabe once more, this one launching her through the building. He appeared above her, kicking her down and sending her crashing to the street. He aimed his hands down at her before unleashing a volley of energy blasts from his hand. The area around them was painted in a purple glow as the Calamity Rider continued blasting at the ground, destroying everything in his path.
Once he was satisfied, he closed his hands, descending to where Shirabe was. She had lost her transformation and her jacket was shredded, revealing part of her bra. The God studied her unconscious expression, clenching his fists.
"Just sleep. Once you wake up, you will have everything you've ever wanted." He raised his leg above his head, aiming at the girl's head."May you find peace in the next world!"
Suddenly, the three hound heads bit onto him before Elsa slammed her lightning-infused claw against his face, flinging Fenrir away. Elsa quickly scooped Shirabe up in her arms, flying away to a safe location. After flying for a few seconds, she reached a gas station where Kirika was, unconscious as well. She had lost consciousness due to the blood loss. Fortunately, Elsa had basic medical knowledge due to her reading up on ways to keep her late friends safe and heal their wounds. So she was able to keep Kirika from dying from blood loss and bandaged her throat with shreds of her jacket. For now, she was breathing just fine. But she would need medical attention.
'Shirabe isn't doing much better either...' Elsa frowned upon seeing the burns around her body.'And her heart...I can't imagine how she must feel right now.'
Elsa shook her head, exiting the gas station and taking off into the sky.'I have to get him away from them. This is a lost cause, but I can't let them die here. I promised their brother I would protect them with my life. I have the power of the Mjolnir and the Gleipnir. I have to weaken him as much as I can!'
"So, you're the only one left. After you die, then all of this will be over."
Elsa was punched on her back, sending her flying back to the ground. Fenrir landed on top of a lamp, crossing his arms.
"It's very unfortunate." Fenrir chuckled."Seriously. You guys never had a chance to win. Mortals can't beat Gods. The Qliphoth tree isn't just sucking the nutrients of this ball of dirt and water. It's also absorbing the energy used by everyone in their battles."
"What...?!"
"And once the fruits grow and mature, we will consume them, gaining unimaginable power. Nothing in this universe will be able to stop us. And the new era of peace will begin!"
Fenrir rocketed forward, kicking Elsa's domes as she tried to protect herself. She flew around her, pulling her hair and elbowing her back, earning a scream of pain. She hissed, grabbed at his head, and attempted to electrocute him. However, he grabbed her arms before abruptly flying down and smashing her against a building. He slammed Elsa against another one, landing on the rooftop and slamming his foot against her face. He took a step back, bombarding her with energy spheres against her, making her howl in agony as the building collapsed.
"This is so thrilling! Crushing the weak is an awesome feeling! I'm so pumped with adrenaline I could explode! Hahaha!" Wei cackled madly.
Suddenly, the silver three-headed wolf lunged from the ground, but Fenrir moved away in an instant, appearing a few meters away and morphing into his giant wolf form. Fenrir lunged at Cerberus, opening his mouth to devour Elsa whole. However, Cerberus used Elsa's claws to grab at the edges of Fenrir's mouth, sitting on top of his tongue and preventing him from closing his mouth. Elsa roared, shooting several lightning bolts down Fenrir's throat, inflating his mouth and creating an explosion that launched Cerberus crashing into the ground. Elsa's attachments fell from her connector, completely exhausted from using her remaining strength in her final assault.
Accel Vent: Accel Speed
Suddenly, Fenrir emerged from the smoke in his Rider form and sliced off Elsa's left hand. Elsa howled in utter agony, blood splattering on the ground from her wound, but Fenrir grabbed her head and slammed her on the ground, keeping her pinned by placing his foot on her chest. His armor was in tatters, and had sustained internal damage due to Elsa's attack, causing him to breathe heavily.
"You...I'm so sick of all of you playing these childish games and attempting your useless tricks on me! You got one hand less, do you not?" Fenrir raised his blade above his head."All you're missing is the legs. I'm going to make this as painful as possible!"
He froze. He took a closer look at Elsa's missing arm, and memories of his sister flooded his head.
"Chao...your arm..."He had cried after his sister had woken up at the hospital post Bragard's attack.
"It's just an arm. Nothing more." Chao-Xing smiled at him, beckoning him to come closer. He did so, and she immediately brought her other arm around him, hugging him."I'm just glad you and Daddy are safe...I'm so glad..."
"Chao..." He sobbed silently, his sister gently brushing his hair.
"It's okay. I won't let this wound stop me from protecting you. I'll keep you safe with my life. I'll keep my little brother safe with all of my heart..."
Fenrir shook his head, snapping from his thought."And where did that get you? Killed! I won't make the same mistake! I AM NOT WEAK! I AM NOT!"
Two pillars of light emerged from the ground, stopping Fenrir. He turned around, puzzled. Shirabe and Kirika were flying toward the sky, their eyes glowing intensely as they sang.
"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal..."
"Emustolronzen Finé el balal zizzl..."
"That's..." Fenrir narrowed his eyes.
"They're using...their Swan Songs..." Elsa muttered weakly, a small smile gracing her features before she passed out.

Their glow intensified, and the power brimming from them created a powerful shockwave.
"Hmph! You actually thought you could defeat me? By transforming into a monster?!" Both of them bellowed in perfect unison.
"What is going on...? Their power is skyrocketing all of a sudden!"
"There's only thing left to do! Ready go!"
Their bodies got closer to each other, the pink and green aura mixing and forming a multicolored vortex that reached the heavens. Fenrir covered his face to protect himself from the intense glow, feeling himself slowly being pushed back.
"What is this?!"
The vortex became smaller and smaller until it became two swords. One emerald and another one ruby in color. Instead of two girls, there was one. She looked like a grown-up version of Kirika, her long blonde her reaching her waist but with Shirabe's dark hair in the form of highlights in some areas. She was wearing a green and pink leotard, a pink skirt, and a green witch with two armored twin tails. She opened her eyes, revealing her heterochromatic green and pink eyes.
"What...? Who are you?! Are you Shirabe or Kirika?!" Fenrir demanded, feeling a cold sweat dripping down his cheek.
"Emerald blade, sever. Ruby blade, bind." The woman said, two voices speaking in perfect unison."All the evils will be sealed and destruction shall be stymied. Lower your blades, subject of Ragnarok! For the divine defender of Kish descends! And her name is...Zababa!"
"Commander!" Aoi cried out, but Genjuro was already looking at the screen. Kirika and Shirabe's Aufwachen waveforms had become one.
"This is...something beyond unison. The blades of Zababa have become one...A miracle born from the darkness of despair..."
"But how?" Sakuya was too stunned to speak any louder than a whisper.
"It may be thanks to Thor's power in them," Aoi said though she was unsure herself. All they could do was stare at the screen in amazement.
"Take a good rest, Elsa-chan." Zababa glanced at the unconscious woman on the floor."We'll take it from here. However, we do not have long. We can already feel our power separating. 3 minutes is all we have before our Phonic Gain is reduced to zero."
"Don't make me laugh. So what if you fused?" Fenrir brandished his blade."I am God. Nothing that you try will matter in the face of-"
Out of nowhere, Zababa was in front of Fenrir, kicking him in the face and shattering what remained of his helmet, sending him crashing into a building.
"Let's not waste any time!"

Zababa was engulfed in a multicolored aura as she raced behind the building, watching Fenrir crash out of it before kicking him in the air, sending him spiraling without control.
"I'm fed up! I've had it up to here with you! Sword Vent!"

The other end of Fenrir's blade became a lightsaber and rushed at Zababa. However, the woman merely parried it with one hand, holding him still before grabbing him by the wrist and tossing him away.
"All attachments! Activated! Sword Vents!" Fenrir screamed, drawing several cards from his Deck and activating them all.

Using every blade at his disposal, he began to spin around wildly, trying to strike at the Goddess in front of him. But Zababa was not perturbed in the least. She parried all of his attacks with her twin blades, moving gracefully and evading every single attack. She blocked his rainbow blades with ease, kneeing him in the stomach and causing him to reel in pain.
"Our turn," Zababa said, immediately slashing at Fenrir's body, breaking his armor to pieces. He was powerless to stop her. He couldn't move in time to block any attacks or fast enough to avoid them. All he could do was stare at her as she performed a bicycle kick on his head, launching him to the ground.
Fenrir turned giant once more, firing several energy balls at Zababa, who easily deflected them with her blades. She flew toward him, kicking the giant wolf on his chin, and flipping him upside down. He started to run away but Zababa was close behind, chasing him down. Fenrir leaped into the air, firing an energy beam from his mouth. Zababa twirled her blades, cutting through the attack and kicking the wolf in the face before slicing off his tail.
"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I REFUSE!" Fenrir screamed, morphing back to human form, swinging his twin multicolored blades alongside the blades at his ankles to attack. No matter how hard he tried, Zababa blocked every attack as if she was reading him like a book."I REFUSE! I REFUSE! I REFUSE! I AM A GOD! I CAN'T BE OVERPOWERED LIKE THIS! I REFUSE TO ACCEPT-"
Zababa did not let him finish his insane rant. He elbowed him in the chin, facing his face to look upward before delivering a roundhouse kick to his stomach, making him vomit blood before kicking him in the head, and flinging him away.
"I'm going to lose..."
Fenrir growled, becoming large once more before starting to spin rapidly."Final Vent! Let's see if you're strong enough to stop this!"
Final Vent: Godsbane Fang
Zababa frowned, igniting her thrusts as lightning covered her body and blades.
"MAXIMUM RADIUS! SKY SLICER!"
Fenrir unleashed his full power in his attack, sending a gigantic slash toward her. Zababa twirled her blades once more, her aura forming a giant blade as it crashed into the slash. Zababa grimaced, feeling herself being pushed back due to the power being used against her.
"JUST DIE ALREADY!" Fenrir roared, frustrated. However, the heads of Cerberus bit onto him, starting to drain his power and forcing him to his normal size."What?!"
"GO!" Elsa yelled from the sidelines, leaning against a wall and a trail of blood behind her. Using her shirt, she did a makeshift tourniquet and stopped the bleeding."END THIS!"
Zababa advanced forward, taking advantage of Fenrir's distracted state to turn his attack into pieces with her blades, destroying it at a molecular level.
"Impossible...This is impossible..." Fenrir shook his head, jumping back and firing several energy blasts with his hand while wielding his Murasame blade with the other."STAY AWAY FROM ME!"

"Time to end this!" Zababa rushed toward him at full speed. Unfortunately, Zababa split back into Shirabe and Kirika, but the blonde ignited her thrusts and pushed Shirabe forward.
"SHIRABE! GO!"
"Yeah!" Shirabe skated at full speed toward Fenrir and manifested her buzzsaw rings to deflect his attacks. She got closer and closer. Until finally, she was within reach of Fenrir, both of them staring at each other's eyes."I finally reached you..."
Fenrir raised his blade, going for a thrust which Shirabe dodged by arching her back, and swinging one of her buzzsaws upward. And that's when it happened. Fenrir's arm was severed from his body, blood splattering everywhere.
'Please, stop. It's over.' Shirabe begged in her mind. Fenrir twirled around, grabbing his severed hand, which was still holding onto his blade, and went for a second strike. Shirabe quickly swung her other buzzsaw, slicing it off his body, leaving him armless.'I'm begging you, don't make me do this...'
In a desperate attempt, refusing to lose, Fenrir grabbed his blade with his teeth, raising his left leg to get momentum as he descended, aiming to stab Shirabe's chest.
'PLEASE STOP!'
Shirabe screamed in anguish as she brought down her buzzsaw in an X-pattern across Fenrir's chest before his blade could pierce her chest. Fenrir's jaw opened in shock and pain, causing his sword to fall to the ground as he took shaky steps back.
Shirabe wheezed, out of breath, and covered in his blood.
Fenrir looked down at his wound as his armor shattered into pieces."Y-you...You...you..."
He raised his head slowly, his eyes widened in disbelief."You...you insignificant...piece of..."
Taking one more step back caused his body to crumble into pieces, flesh and blood falling on the ground as he let out a whispered."...shit..."
Shirabe could only gawk, not saying a single word.
"It's over..." Kirika breathed in relief, falling on her back.
The pink blade of Zababa looked at her hands, shaking her head as she let out a blood-curdling scream."WEI-KUN!"
She rushed to his side, hyperventilating as she laid his head on her lap."WEI-KUN! I'M SO SORRY! I'M SO SO SORRY! I...I DIDN'T MEAN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN! I'M SORRY!"
Wei was no longer listening, his eyes closed, and his expression was peaceful, despite the way he died and his body being cut into pieces. His body started to break into particles until there was nothing left of him.
Elsa approached Shirabe, looking at the portal in the sky and noticing it get smaller than before as well as a good chunk of demons being absorbed back into it. She knelt next to Shirabe, rubbing her back."He was going to kill us, Shirabe..."
"I love him...And I killed him..." Shirabe was inconsolable, tears endlessly streaming down her cheeks."I'm so sick and tired of losing people I love...I can't keep going like this...My heart can't take it anymore, Elsa-chan...It hurts so much...All of my siblings...my friends...and now the boy I love...When will it all end...? When will we stop losing everything we hold dear...? When will our pain and misery just end...?"
"Look over there..." Elsa gently pointed at the sky."The portal is smaller now. We're another step forward to finally ending this. Thanks to our effort, the people of Japan will be safer."
She sat down next to her, letting her rest her head on her shoulder."I understand your pain. I saw my friends die one by one. Until I was the only one left. But I have things to fight for. For Allister's memory. My daughter. And for my friends. We're still here. And we're still fighting. Because it's worth it. If we give up now, whatever is left of the world will feel the same way. It's up to us to stop that."
"I know..." She took a deep breath."I know..."
"You know...I felt during your fight with him. I felt like...It felt like he wanted you to kill him."
"Huh?"
"I'm sure that some part of him wanted a new world. To get his family back. He lost it all as well. But like it happened to my Allister, his heart was corrupted by the darkness of his heart. Some part of him...I'm sure he never stopped loving you. He could have killed you a few times and didn't. I believe he was fighting with himself. Or at least, that's what I want to believe." Elsa smiled warmly at her."So...at least we should be happy he can finally rest. And he will see his family again."
Shirabe nodded.
"Let's go see how Kirika is...okay?"
"Okay..." Shirabe nodded once more."But your arm..."
"We'll worry about it later." Elsa grabbed her hand, pulling her along."At least, we're alive."
The older girl guided Shirabe back to where Kirika was, already fast asleep due to her exhaustion.
'Wei-kun...I'm sorry I couldn't save you from yourself...'
