A/N - Happy belated Halloween!
Izuku grimaced as he ran invisibly down the road. He would have flown, were his body not still recovering from quirk overload.
As things stood, Izuku could only manage a few quirks and not looking like a walking skeleton, and it was taking longer to recover as his body reached its limit.
At least he could still manage invisibility and the raw speed of One For All, even if it was a little slower than he wanted. He couldn't exactly use One For All to it's full potential while in his current state after all.
But that looped around to the real cause of concern for Izuku.
That being the setting sun, as he ran across the miles long school grounds.
"Damn it! If only I could go faster!" Izuku muttered in frustration. The longer he took, the more chances there were for things to go wrong, and he had already waisted enough time just recovering.
Plus the memory of Jiro nearly committing suicide kept playing in his head as the setting sun reminded him just how long everyone had been under the influence of his quirk. The only saving grace being that Izuku had already gotten to the girls closest to him, so the rest should hopefully not be as bad off.
Izuku shook his head free of his worry and rationalizations as he skidded to a halt.
"Why was she even out here?…" Izuku muttered as he gazed up the steps to the USJ.
He grimaced as he tried to figure out why 13 would be out here, especially when she had been operating around the main buildings so far.
Izuku shook his head with a sigh as he shelved that thought for later and quickly made his way up to the main doors but stopped short of opening them.
Izuku hummed as he sniffed the air and picked up a lot of unique scents. He then activated Augmented Vision and his eyes bugged out at all the movement he saw inside.
"WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GIRLS HERE!?" Izuku internally screamed before jumping up to the dome and working a maintenance hatch open while flashing a keycard Nezu gave him to deactivate the security for this entrance.
Once he was inside, up in the catwalks overlooking the interior, his eyes shot wide once again as he got a good look at what he was dealing with.
It would seem that 13 had lured a number of girls here and got them all caught in traps and areas of the USJ that they weren't suited for.
In hindsight it made sense. 13 knew the USJ better then any other part of the school and could easily get most of the students, save for a few of the hero corses, trapped in scenarios their quirks weren't suited for and they weren't trained to escape from. All she would need is a decoy of Izuku to lead the girls here, where she could monitor everything with ease and intervene if it looked like someone was about to break.
The only issue was that 13 was nowhere to be seen, and some of the girls were indeed getting desperate.
Izuku grimaced as he quickly used his Finger Jacks to plug into the building security cameras and scanned through them as fast as he could.
"There are too many girls about to loose it and no time to call for backup…" he muttered while continuing to scan.
The vestiges hadn't been joking when they said they had their hands full. The situation was quickly escalating beyond what them and Snipe could handle alone.
Izuku sighed as he retracted his fingers from the cables on the catwalk and deactivated the quirk.
"I might be able to handle this quirk at least…" he thought aloud before closing his eyes and concentrating. He then winced in pain as his body protested another quirk being activated so soon and with little time for his body to adjust.
When he opened his eyes next though, they were a bioluminescent green and similar green veins appeared along his neck and down his arms. His skin becoming a little pale as his hair took on a darker hue, with a texture similar to fungus and some bioluminescent highlights. He then exhaled a burst of spores before licking his lips.
"Ok… I can hold this for a little while…" Izuku wheezed out before taking a deep breath, puffing his cheeks out like a squirrel and then exhaling a massive cloud of spores over the entirety of the USJ.
Izuku waited a moment as he watched them settle to the ground. He was both proud and ashamed of this quirk.
Ashamed partly because he'd already come up with the idea for it before encountering Kinoko. The idea being inspired by Ectoplasm's quirk and a few old games suggested by the First.
The other part of his shame came when Izuku winced with sympathy as he heard a few of the girls in the USJ shrieking in horror at the hundreds of mushroom men that grew from the ground and began shambling towards them.
The appearance of the creatures varied. Some looking almost cartoony, like normal mushrooms on small and stubby mushroom legs and identical arms.
Others were more horrifying, with much more humanoid forms, appearing more like zombies or alien monsters.
"Sorry…" Izuku whispered with a wince at a particularly high pitched scream, but never the less, reconfirmed his psychic orders to his army before deactivating the quirk as his body began to really hurt from being forced to maintain it in his current condition.
Izuku flexed his fingers and rolled his shoulder as the discomfort faded and he set off down the catwalk while trying and failing to ignore the screams echoing out.
He quickly made his way to the control room for the USJ and, upon confirming no one was inside waiting to ambush him, he slipped in and locked the doors before moving to the controls.
Izuku quickly got to work scanning through all camera footage, trying to retrace 13's movements.
"There!" he muttered as he paused the recording on 13's last sighting.
Izuku grimaced as the grainy images didn't give him a good view of 13. The recording made worse by the fact she was last seen in a blackout zone. An area that simulated disasters in total darkness.
Izuku could already hear Tokoyami in his head, saying his usual mantra as he steeled himself for what was to come and made his way out of the building and back onto the catwalks.
Izuku did his best to ignore the moaning, shrieking and other inhuman sounds that were echoing through the USJ, followed by much more human and feminine shrieks of horror.
It didn't take long for Izuku to reach the second, much smaller dome inside the USJ. He was about to open the roof side maintenance hatch but thought better of it.
As much as he didn't like going into a pitch dark environment blind, he realized most of the girls, 13 trapped in here were ether disadvantaged by the dark or relied on light for their quirks, so opening the hatch from the top might not be a good idea.
Thankfully Izuku could still manage invisibility, so he was able to sneak down and through the main entrance.
Izuku gulped as he got a brief look at the pitch black streets of the mock city before the door sealed shut behind him. He could hear several of the girls in the darkness, desperately trying to find a way out and to Izuku.
Izuku whimpered a little before whispering an apology to the girls in the distance and then making more mushroom men. A few with bioluminescent bodies.
"EEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
Several screams soon followed as Izuku's minions went to work restraining the girls and making sure they didn't hurt themselves or each other.
Izuku groaned in discomfort and exhaustion as he released the quirk and let his body return to normal.
"I don't think I can make any more of those for a while" he muttered as he leaned on his knees.
"REEEEEEEEE!!!!"
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
Izuku winced as one of his minions gave a horrific sheik and a girl screamed in terror.
"And maybe that's for the best…" Izuku muttered in shame and horror at his own ability, especially given that he hadn't amped it with One For All.
He also felt a chill run up his spine as he remembered that his child would have the same power once they were born.
"What have I done…" he muttered with dread as he prayed this child in particular didn't turn out mischievous.
Meanwhile, back with Izuku's harem. Ryukyu felt oddly happy all of a sudden.
She felt as if a certain someone finally understood her pain.
The evil chuckle she gave off only serving to creep out the other girls who had grown used to her previous reaction to her pregnancy hormones.
Izuku shuddered as he heard his minions clicking and scratching in the dark. Occasionally even seeing the bioluminescent ones.
"WHY DID I MAKE THIS QUIRK!?" Izuku internally screamed. Had he been able to maintain the quirk on his side, he could have kept constant tabs on them and their locations, but as it was now, he was just as blind as the girls, with only his own weak night vision from Neko and the occasional burst of his own bioluminescent or fire based quirks allowing him to see anything.
Of corses that didn't help him find 13. That fell solely to the mercy of Search V2, and what little camera footage he could access before entering.
"EEEEEEEEE!!!"
Two girls screamed as they ran by Izuku when he came to an intersection with a flickering street amp. A mushroom man right behind them, causing Izuku to yelp as he jumped in place.
When questioned about this particular part of this whole disaster in the future, Izuku would vehemently deny that his yelp was feminine in any capacity, or the fact that the feminine tone prevented the girls in the area from realizing it was him.
But that was future Izuku.
Present Izuku was currently hyperventilating before slapping himself in the face.
"Get ahold of yourself damn it! You're a hero aren't you!? And they're not even after you!" Izuku muttered to himself before yelping again at a can falling to the ground somewhere.
Izuku shook himself out of his funk and quickly made his way down the street. His cat eyes reflecting silver in the few light sources that popped up, including the one girl with a weak fire quirk that had been running in his direction, only to scream as soon as she saw his eyes and immediately turned and ran down another random street before the rest of Izuku could become visible.
"Sorry" Izuku whimpered as he kept running. Eventually coming up on a small apartment in the middle of the dome.
Izuku furrowed his brows as he entered the building and Search V2 started pulling his attention downward.
Strait down…
Through the solid concrete floor…
Izuku was confused for a moment and began wandering if this area simulated the sewers too, but then snapped his fingers as he remembered.
"Oh, this is one of Nezu's secret tunnels. So that's how she got out here so fast" Izuku smacked himself in the head as it came to him. The tunnels even had a transport system to help move around as fast as possible.
It didn't take long for Izuku to find the secret entrance ether, now that Nezu had shown him what to look for. In this case a hidden switch next to a picture frame on the wall, causing part of the modular floor to suddenly open up under him.
…
…
Izuku just stared blankly ahead before realizing the elevator wasn't there and he was floating over a seemingly endless pit.
Izuku then blinked as he realized he instinctively activated Survival Instincts, allowing his brain to process everything before he dropped.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh!!!" Izuku's screams faded as he fell down the hole, which promptly shut after he was through.
Meanwhile, deep below the surface, in what could almost pass for a subway station, only with several first aid stations and surveillance equipment all over the place. Izuku's screams grew louder and louder as the elevator doors opened.
SPLAT!
Only to silence as green slime was suddenly splattered all over the floor.
…
"Uuuuhhhggg…" Izuku moaned as his head slowly formed from the slime and he gradually forced his body back into what was roughly it's proper shape.
"That sucked…" Izuku moaned as he let go of the quirk and returned to normal as he leaned against the door frame.
He was really starting to wish his body would fully recover already and let him access all of his quirks without issue again. He would have much preferred a flying quirk or a gravity one. Or even one that let him stick to the walls.
Izuku shook his head as as he straightened himself up and looked around.
"Huh?" he muttered as he saw sparks coming from the walls inside the elevator and found a crowbar jammed into the mechanism.
"So that's why the elevator didn't come up" he thought aloud before looking to the control panel next to the door and seeing that the safeties had been overridden.
Izuku felt a chill run down his spine as he realized whoever sabotaged the elevator was still down here and knew he would be coming.
With that thought, Izuku quickly spun around, scanning for threats.
He found no one in the dim light of the station but kept his guard up.
"Come on… where are you 13?…" Izuku muttered as he used Search V2 really quickly before his body protested with a powerful headache and he got a quick ping to his left, from inside a surveillance room designed for monitoring the surface in case the school was attacked.
Izuku slowly made his way over and winced as the door squeaked open. He then slowly slipped into the dark room, illuminated only by red lights and a single lamp at the end of the room…
With 13 on the floor under it, slumped against the wall.
Izuku stood there for a moment in silence as he stared ahead at the unresponsive 13.
…
"This is a trap…" Izuku deadpanned with equally dead eyes. It couldn't have been more obvious.
Unfortunately, 13 was still potentially hurt or worse, so Izuku, idealistic hero that he was, still inched his way into the room, but not without keeping an eye on every dark corner or unusual sound.
Izuku's muscles tensed as he prepared to fight or run at the first sign of trouble. All the while cursing his aching body and inability to control his urges, for his current inability to use a better quirk for this situation.
"13?" Izuku called out hesitantly as he approached. He picked up one of the folding chairs as he went and used it to poke at 13's helmet.
…
Nothing happened…
"Huh?… I guess it was too obvious to be a trap…" he thought aloud after checking the floor and ceiling for anything.
With nothing happening Izuku reached out and put a hand on 13's shoulder…
Only for it to deflate under his touch and shift to the side, letting a bunch of medical bags fall out of the front of the suit. Its seam apparently only having been pulled closed and not zipped up.
It also allowed Izuku to stare in horror at one of Lady Nagant's hair bullets, lodged halfway into the face of 13's helmet.
"Shit!" Izuku caused before yelping as the lights suddenly went out and alarms blared as he heard emergency doors slamming shut.
"Double shit!" Izuku yelled with dread as realization hit him.
It had indeed been too obvious to be a trap. That's why it wasn't rigged as a trap.
It had been a diversion.
And now he was trapped in here as the wind suddenly picked up around him.
…
Wait… the wind?…
Izuku yelled as he was suddenly caught in the pulled of 13's quirk and yanked off of his feet.
Izuku screamed as he was pulled through the door and just barely managed to grab the frame.
Izuku's mind raced as he held on for dear life. Literally in this case.
"Just how desperate is she!? I'll die if I get too close with her quirk active!" Izuku thought before suddenly blinking in confusion.
"Actually, why am I not turning to dust already? I should be dead at this range" Izuku pondered as he continued to hold on. His strength from training One For All so impressive that he actually didn't notice the pull of 13's quirk after a the initial shock wore off, allowing him to get lost in thought.
That changed quickly though, as the pull from 13's quirk got stronger and Izuku's lips peeled back from the force of the wind.
Izuku's eyes then shot wide.
"Don't tell me she had quirk awakening from all the stress!" Izuku yelled in realization as he briefly tapped Survival Instincts to try and find a solution.
CRACK!
It would prove pointless though, as the metal doorframe began to give under the force and in the end failed to match Izuku's Insane strength.
"No, no, noooooooooo!!!!" Izuku screamed as the part of the frame he was holding onto, finally broke off and Izuku went flying backwards. Even as he rapidly drew closer to 13 though, he still didn't turned to dust, and at the last second she turned off her quirk, letting him sail past her into the upright mattress from the medical station, which fell back on its feet as Izuku hit it.
"Ugh…" Izuku grunted as flipped over onto his back and just lay there in shock, only to then yelp as a petite and very naked body suddenly jumped on his.
Izuku gulped as he looked up at the silhouette of 13 in the dim light. Her breathing guttural and desperate.
"Finally…" she muttered with a crazed tone as Izuku lay there under her, sweating bullets.
"Oh… not one of my teachers too…" Izuku groaned internally as he realized there was only one way out of this.
Q/L -
——————- Kinoko - 18
Carrion Lord
"Partial Mutation/Emitter quirk. This quirk grants the use the ability the exhale fungal spores of their design. These spores can be used to grow any kind of fungus the use can imagine. From structures that themselves can produce spores if desired, to simi-independent and mobile forms, or even pathogenic forms of fungus. These forms can be self sufficient if desired or short lived. The size, shape and function of these forms is limited only by the user's imagination, though a few basic and temporary forms can be instinctively produced with little effort or practice. All fungi produced by this quirk are psychically linked to and controlled by the user, though the scope of this link is dependent on the complexity and design of the fungus. The quirk also grants the user enhanced durability and limited regeneration. Unfortunately it also gives the user an increasingly desiccated appearance the more they exhale spores without replenishing their calorie and fluid intake and they always speak with a breathy, wheezing voice"

A/N - This quirk was heavily inspired by the Zurg swarm from StarCraft. I originally wanted one of Mina's kids to have something similar but it just fit better here.
