184. Time's Arrow VII: The First Exchange

Warnings: Alright from here it's going to match the dialog now, as the rest of the story is finished from here. So this is going to cover the aftermath to Past And Present. And the following portion the end of Need. Only in Daniel's point of view, so here's the rest of the storyline now, from here. As this portion covers the opening of the beginning of the book, before they arrested the quartet and McKenzie and the next is on Need.

But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.

He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.

With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.

The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.

This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.

As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.

As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 184: New Futures And Fresh Starts VI: Time's Arrow and Recovery VII

"Yeah I say she had a total nervous breakdown here, in thinking your way of life, it's dangerous, look at what we do for a living, but the list of technologies. That once we find the treasure trove, we can pay for the growth enzyme, but with this power we can create it. In the technology to benefit the planet now." Parker said and he nodded. "Yeah that and she sees this as how could our job possibly be this boring, she came up with completely bogus cover story at the time."

"Before the mission to the Tok'ra's previous home planet." he said and they nodded sternly to the news. "Yes our job is more fulfilling here, peaceful, quiet, you had enough of the explosions to last a life time now, that why are they trying to convince you to go back. When the psychiatric department decided you're retired, and it's not up to them, the military now. Like Alicia with the Professor, Sarah chose the same thing with me now." Henderson said gently to him at this.

"You guys are my family, the team and my adoptive family, I'm retired, what I needed was rest and a stress free job now, home all the time now. This is where I belong, that when you decided to bring the guys and Karen, that triggered the finisher. In our relationship, I wanted to be with the team, my girlfriend and her parents, they're my immediate family. And you and the 10 are my adoptive family, and I'd rather stay here then go back." he said and he and Warren nodded.

"She thinks she is always right I'm always wrong, but I had it with her attitude here right now, after what you heard in the exchange. But quite honestly she never changed a bit, she's still the conceited little hotshot you remember B.J.. Chance after chance, after chance, nothing changed or will ever." he said and B.J. nodded sternly then. "Good thing's she's asleep right now, she had no idea what I'm about to tell you." he said and Barnes nodded in agreement p.

"Have a seat, Danny, Coffee?" he said and Daniel nodded. "Thank you." he said and Barnes refills his mug from a Thermos then as he gave him one. "How long have you known Captain Carter?" he asked and Daniel explained that to him as he crossed his arms then. "The last time I saw her, before the SGC was in Queens New York, her father. He was assigned there, at the same time of the accident, but growing up, I been moved."

"And from town to town till I spent the last 6 years with you guys." he said and Barnes nodded. "You and Cpt. Carter were pretty close." he said and Daniel sighed then. "We used to be, before she crossed the line at the time, but there was something. That I forgot to show you now, that you, Uncle Brandon and mom needed to see here. As it's connected to why I laid into her at the time." he said and he nodded sternly to that.

"Can you show me now." he said and Daniel nodded, as he tapped up the exchange. "This was during the incident on Cimmeria, and I had the tracker now. In leading us to the labyrinth." he said and Sam paled, realizing she screwed up, in pretending he was a civilian now, she saw that as she didn't see anything she was doing was wrong, but she was a captain. He was a borderline commander and outranked her by two ranks at the time, and still did now.

"Here's what happened now regarding that episode at the moment the full exchange right now." He said and they nodded."Gairwyn told me Thor built this centuries ago. It brings the water from the mountains." She said and he nodded, as he looked in the direction they came which was pointed back the way they came."He built it for us, to his people in the towns." she said and he smiled. "Thor is generous." He said and she smiled

"Yes: This means we are close." She said and he nodded as Kendra walks ahead. "Here it comes young lady you can't refrain from controlling that mouth of your's, can you." Barnes said sternly and she swallowed hard at his remark, realizing this was the next reason. That he turned on her, he had enough of her crap and realism now "Daniel, she said that hours ago. Now either she's lost and doesn't want to admit it, or.." she started to say and he cut in sternly.

"I don't think that she would mislead us." he said and Henderson nodded. "Indeed follow the lamb and it will lead you to the future you deserve, the one you are ready for." He said and she paled at that, realizing Kendra was the bell weather lamb, leading Daniel. And to the burning bush in a way, Daniel was a prophet now, only he could determine things. So he was following his lamb and she lead him in the direction to find the others now, as she said it then carefully.

"Maybe it's not on purpose, maybe it's not even conscious!" She said and he shook his head at her realism and as he jumped over a channel to stand in front of Sam and they stopped. "What she suffered on her world and while being a Goa'uld will translate anywhere as incredible abuse." She said and he crossed his arms, knowing Kendra was standing there waiting for debate to end. "You ever heard, follow the prophet." He said to her then sternly.

"One of the lyrics happens to focus on a prophet with my name, you ever listen more closely to the song here Carter, huh, Daniel was a prophet. He refused to sin, so the king threw Daniel.., in the lion's den, Angels calmed the lions, and the king soon saw. Daniel's pow'r was great, for he obeyed God's law.'." He said, singing the one focused on his name and she jerked in shock at declaration, realizing he was following a lamb to the bush.

"It's meant to say there is always a reason for everything, and you're refusing to see this as you're too narrow minded, you're not ready for the technology. Or the future that the lord holds here, but I am, my faith never faltered. But I kept to my religious roots, because my coach was a Jesuit priest now. Doesn't the fact that she interpreted those gusts of wind and thunder as signs mean something?" He said to her sternly.

As they watched, knowing she was refusing to admit she was wrong, but he was right, casting judgment on this fact, was the only way to prove his claims were crap. And Barnes shook his head at her atheist attitude, knowing this was going to be a massive religious debate later. "Part of her wants to face it all again and another part clearly doesn't, and it looks like the part that doesn't is winning, we're wasting valuable time." She said to that firmly.

And he said it sternly. "No you're wasting valuable time by arguing with the expert, me: 13 months, you: 6 months. I followed Sha're's mount and it lead me right to her father and Skaara now at the time last year. It's the lamb with the alert bell metaphor here, Moses was looking over his flock as a shepherd boy. And it lead him to the burning bush, this is the very same thing, we follow the lamb and it leads us to the bush."

"Okay, and Gairwyn also said that hunters found her, that hunters don't necessarily travel in a straight line, they follow game. Are you an experienced woodsman, spent a few years in the forest, learning to be. In truth, an adult, as sometimes there is unseen aspects you never see, I was learning to act like Native American. Spent a summer in the forest, to live alone for a season, learn to be a man, an adult here."

"That you should not act, or do magic that you can't understand here right now, they would not risk hunger just to get her back a day sooner." He said and Jordan nodded. "Here it comes, and this crossed the line right now, I could care less, about her reasoning, there is no excuse, just like the little bastard, it's just another slur against our family now." Gardener said and she jerked as Jack went white in fear at his remark, realizing they were screwed.

"Daniel, your belief that Kendra can somehow help bring Sha're back to you, it doesn't make it true." she said and he turned and stalked off. "Yeah now you pissed him off right now." Lou said sternly at the words. "And it certainly doesn't make her reliable!" she said and he turned and walked back to her, his eyes hard and stern. "Oh, does the remark of 'watch what you say ring any bells', after you put me in the hospital?" he asked and she froze.

"Don't remember, I was helping Kenny Woods, and you react like this, I missed my bus, got caught in the rain, during a New York pre Autumn. The gang went looking for me and this scared the life out of Christy so much she and Ted. Now nearly had a heart attack, it's not till I come in the door, they alert my gang. And I get swamped with the very same question Chris was after coming in at 2 in the morning, and I'm soaked."

"And praying that they can head off a relapse, it's already too late, the damage is done, as I wake up two days later, burning up now. As I came down with the flu, which turned into bacterial pneumonia now. Depressed to the point of suicide, I thought I found a new friend and that friend promptly stabbed me in the heart. And my family gang and psychiatrist refused to let you even near me." he asked to her then.

"Ted, I thought his name was Allen?" Vala asked and Henderson smiled in affection then. "His full name is Theodore Allen Turner, at times we called him Allen, others Ted here. But one too many kids, they were a foster care establishment, that was like the one my double ran. In a movie starring Danny Glover, and Christopher Lloyd, which was a baseball movie. And the junior stars, one of them was seeing angels at the games here, baby." his wife said and she nodded.

"She wasn't expecting to hear that, but the look on your face, after she introduced herself, said to me you knew this was the same girl from 26 years ago." Lou said and he nodded gently. "Yeah after I completed the research that was necessary to get the gate going again, before base camp got struck for the second in 13 months. Only this time you got it even worse then time, as we lost 3 members of Skaara's team." he said and Lou nodded sternly to that remark.

And her eyes widened in shock then. "Have no idea what I'm talking about here, well let me simplify it for you, Captain. The families involved in my recovery from my parents loss, said are you, the General. Mr. Greer and his wife, Lou himself and Hank Landry and his wife." he said and she paled at that remark then. "Continue bashing my job, and just when you really do need my information here, you never have it now, in truth."

"Think on that, before I'm not around to save you from your own stupidity, and I told this to Catherine, after I realized. That, that piece of junk came with the coverstone that murdered my parents." he said sternly and she swallowed hard at that remark. "But Kendra is there for me, her word is far more valuable then your's is here. After your cruel attitude, just 1 month after my parents deaths." he said and she started shaking.

"So can it already, I'm not doing this again with you, I thought I'd give you a second chance, but your realistic views are why your father. And my gang never let it go, afraid to leave you alone with me and even Greer. The General, had never been so ashamed of you, you need to think before you say anything, Captain. I maybe a civilian to you, but I grew up in the armed forces, Dillon just alerted Hammond."

"To my identity, which is why he's gone father with me ever since, but I couldn't care less about your opinion, my orders come from the Generals. If there is anyway to find that labyrinth, it's following a tour guide of the area right now. She's a tracker, so I'm following her lead now as for your remark, haven't you ever had a feeling. That made absolutely no logical sense, and it turned out to be right?" he said and she swallowed.

Before they heard Kendra call out to them. "This way!" she said and he looked at her in disgust at the mere memory as he shook his head and promptly turned around. And went to join Kendra then, as they heard him humming the song and Thomas chuckled and nodded in understanding. "Uh huh, yeah live like a prophet, and you're right at the moment but then why not, you're a 20th century prophecy, for us, in the Catholic Church now." Lou said with a chuckle at the song.

"Uh huh, yeah and after hearing what Brandon had to tell us on that, we also never been so disgusted right now about that news." Patterson said sternly and Henderson crossed his arms then. "Hey Derek, Brand, Jack's unit is on the rotation this week, I got the run at the moment, so you're on hold for now." Commander, Dr. Jason Valentine said, coming to the door and he nodded. "Yeah okay got it, Jason." Henderson said to him then and he nodded and left gently.

"Another of the Naval M.D.'s?" she asked and Barnes nodded with a smile. "Like the new upcoming protocols here, is each team had their own doctor, Derek is our's. Jason is doing Dallas's unit in truth here." Levy said and she and Teal'C nodded, smiling. "And these are things we need to know, before we have blow back with 375,000 people running loose. When in the districts at the moment, with it being a Saturday and we're the lab." Cam said to that gently.

"Wise guy, and don't push it you maybe my son's baby brother, but I'm still a member of the team family here, that getting smart with me results in a blow back here." she said smiling and he looked down, he was young man growing into his 30's true, but to their parents. He was still half that, as he got to know the French kingdom in that same way then. "Yeah bro, best not get smart with my mother and uncle here, or you're in trouble." Daniel said with a chuckle then.

"Key word there was were, we've fallen out of touch over the years, and since being reposted I stopped to talking to her after Uncle Brandon said. Just to heal emotionally from that betrayal, is cut all contact, stick to my own kind now, why?"he said and he nodded, in understanding, knowing this helped, he had no reason to hide anything from him. "I'll be honest, just to be seen, she started getting rude." he said and Barnes nodded.

"I may have forgiven her for her attitude during Kenny, but it was during Hathor, I was considering letting go and starting over. As our relationship started getting stronger, I left for a few months looking for that back payoff. Only the woman I thought loved me, was lying to me now, saying she had no idea. What Jolinar left in her head, till I got the news, she knew where Sha're was and never told me now."

"Needless to say this destroyed her relationship with me, last year after we stopped 2 system lords and they walked into another contaminated area. Her first act, as a newly activated Major, was to agree to keep going after throwing me. And right to the wolves, as the primary reason is with me on Earth, they were safe. And from walking back in there." he said and Barnes nodded in understanding then, as she went white then.

Realizing he was spilling his guts to the man, that was this hard on her, and the older man was like a loving uncle to him, while Henderson was everything he needed in recovery. "Like I said, I think I know enough to not get killed down here, is she most qualified in her field. Just what exactly are her qualification, why is she here exactly." he said and Daniel nodded. "Tell me about right now." he said and then said then, as he pulled out a bottle.

"Acting without thinking, if I didn't know any better, because the bastard is a grunt, she wants to be seen by the jarheads, the men and as a result here. She's not using her brain here, but and you're going to love this, I found this. In her bag, when we were on La Rochelle." he said, pulling out the bottle and he read the name. "Nembutal, you got to be kidding, she's taking this stuff?" he said and Daniel nodded gently to him then.

"The bottle was missing 1/3 of it, when I checked it and then I remembered what Pyrus said, the elixir once bound to the genes. That inflicts beyond fast healing, making it so any attempts at suicide, are not there. So attempted suicide and she's been on suicide watch ever since after I told this to Hancock." he said and Barnes nodded. "Thank god, he sent us his notes on her and with that." he said gently to him.

"My recommendation is just keep an eye on her." he said and he nodded, as he planned to do that. "Agreed, but what I understand is that an exotic-gas environment a thousand feet underwater. And with no link to the surface is just about the most dangerous place on the planet. If there's a problem, I need to know about it right now, with us stuck down here for the next month." he said and Daniel nodded as he answered him.

"I know she's not been this deep underwater before, but we just watch her, any indication she's starting to crack, pull it." he said and Barnes nodded. "Agreed, I'll tell that to Brandon right now, gets better, we had some sort of static. Said coming off the computer a bit ago, before I called you in here." he said and he nodded. "Well it got even better now, Eric's awake right now, and based on Karen's notation, those jellies."

"Match the ones on the movie." Henderson said and they both nodded. "Well our SGC arrival evidently never expected who they considered dangerous. To find Goodman's report, and once again the MIS are trying to down play it for us. Thinking this is impertinent at the moment, but once again that's not their call to make. And it's because you better check the dosage, Brand." Barnes said and he sat down at the table.

And did the number. "These's 80 pills in this bottle, with these being gelcaps, and 27 are missing and…, no, she didn't, did she?" he asked him then and Daniel nodded gently. "She did, and evidently the over dose never worked, because anything created. And by a sarcophagus, in drugs it takes the sarcophagus undo it, and I revealed this. And to Uncle Jake and Hancock." he said to him then gently, and he crossed his arms then sternly.

"Two attempted suicides, and we caught O'neill after he attempted that, so him it's slitting his wrist, her's is she tried a drug over dose, and both times. The elixir prevented that, there is no cure for this, albeit one, and they refuse it. And till her father had to go to drastic measures, by forcefully putting her in that thing. Well sedation is necessary, but she starts seeing or hearing things, I'm calling it now."

"Once the best astrophysicist in the country, now reduced to a certifiable whackjob with a death wish right now, if she's so afraid of water, why even come here exactly?" he asked and he nodded. "I think we all know the answer to that question." Daniel said and they nodded. "Agreed, we know alright, she's trying to convince you to come back, but the answer is still no, and I'm not letting him undo all my hard work again."

"Not after I just got you fully healthy again right now, you're at the correct weight for a man your size, you're still getting there emotionally. So we're very close, but the concept of going back still makes you sick to your stomach. We all know that, there is no way in hell I'm ever allowing them to destroy your progress." he said and she went white at that, realizing Jack's training him beyond sick, he couldn't control his PTSD since.

"Look at you, strong, happy and healthy again, you look like you did after I came back into your life when you were 13. And again after we came to get you, you come so far from the broken hearted young man we remember seeing. When we came to get you 11 months ago now." he said and Daniel nodded. "What's the orders exactly from Haden?" he asked and Henderson nodded as he answered him gently to that question.

"Anyone going into the sphere is being kept in quarantine, till they have their new powers under control, fortunately I been working with you and Eric for 11 months. For you this is easy, so just be careful, of we're all going in there, one by one." he said and they nodded gently. "Just wait till she finds the fax, and then confronts you, as she's the reason we missed our bus here." he said to that gently and they nodded in agreement then.

"Agreed here, but then we're not making the same mistakes the trio had, but she's Halperin in every sense of the word, but I'm a psychiatrist. And this is normal to us, you never changed, you just grew up now." he said and Daniel nodded, smiling. "I'm next, and he's already done himself, I'm taking this shift off, before we crack the code." he said and they both nodded. "First Eric and then you, me and Karen." he said to him then.

"And again your powers are not a plaything, so that's enough practical jokes with your powers." he said and he nodded, as Barnes chuckled at that. "Hey guys, Queenie's gone topside right now, one down and 3 to go." Alexander said and they nodded. "Eric woke up starving, so fast lunch, but otherwise the team is intact right now." he said and they nodded. "Our guest is code 5150, under watch." Daniel said and Alexander nodded then.

"Fair enough, but don't piss you off right now, before that destroys the propane tank in the kitchen." he said sternly and Henderson nodded. "I been trying to get the damn system purged of the numbering system. Coming across the screen, Brandon, still nothing right now, everything we try nothing works. Teeny and I have tried 10 times to purge it, keeps coming back." he added and they all nodded in understanding then.

"Well it's definitely not Eric, he'd never attack a team mate, it's following the code on the movie, one letter got exchanged for another." Daniel said and he nodded gently. "So instead of Jerry, is Harry, on the movie, you're expecting an attempted repeat. And of the movie, in she read that book right now, then clearly she's trying to. Now, scare me out of here now, only the problem they have, is like the idiot grunts, she's not here."

"And, in truth, a Crichton fan, not to realize, I remembered this 1, and 2) and more importantly here, trying to hide herself. Is that it results in the same confrontation Goodman had with Harry's alter ego over the computer. Thinking because she has that power, she can do anything she wants and get away with it. But it's like Anise's science project, get a taste of power, it's intoxicating." he said and they smiled sternly.

"Yeah good point there, so long as the science experiment continues, and the team can't resume their job as SG-1, just the way it is. And once the medical department gets the blood tests back and it's time to put a hold on the experiment. But I agree with your father, if there is one thing I learned in my time here. With your results, is there is nothing wrong and with a little prudence here in all truth at the moment."

"And when dealing with alien technology." Barnes said to him then and the quartet paled, realizing he was right. "Great, after they had that argument, she charges into the sphere, and Eric jumps in after her, and you guys, Beth and I have to go in after them." Walker said and Daniel nodded gently to him. "Lunch is on the table guys, back to a full team again, just one of us went topside." Parker said, coming to join them and they all nodded.

"The report just shot back, anyone going in, we're quarantined till we get it under control here, you three and again. Is nobody is doing disappearing act with the powers, your powers are not a play thing, so that's enough of that already." Henderson said and Addison started laughing at that. "What 11 months results in, this is too easy, we knew your and Eric's powers, and the ability to manifest things just came forward."

"So creation of technology that can be just as beneficial as the stuff you traded for right now in all truth." Parker said smiling and Daniel nodded. "Yep, and there's a case of being responsible with the powers, but she loses it during that trip. Just proves she's just not ready for the power, and neither are they now. Our minds after 11 months of this together, that we understand this, advanced technology, like cognitive powers."

"But knowing she joined the state department, before the president disbanded them right now, is that our powers like the technology you collected are not a play thing. But as I said, as Addams now, that if the trip, the team, involves an archeologist, marine biologist, mathematician, astrophysicist and a psychiatrist. Just why is she here exactly, when we already have a astrophysicist?" Walker said and Barnes nodded.

"Well my position was the safety inspector here, it's my job to make sure everything is working correctly and we're safe from danger, Brand's the team leader. But yeah that's good, that's real good right now, just wait for them to create it. In stand alone stories, of your time with our unit, before this episode hexalogy." he said and they nodded in agreement at that. "Agreed." they heard with a meow and chuckled gently then.

"Yeah, just 14 trapped in my adult body, and pick up where we left off." he said and the quartet nodded smiling then. "Queenie, you better clone yourself then go topside." Daniel said and she nodded, as she did it as the next day Sam woke up finally, as things kept up till two days later then. "I'm taking this out to the mini-sub." Fletcher said and Barnes nodded, as he, Alexander and Renfro are writing down the code that appeared on the monitor then.

"Are you up on the duty roster?" he asked and her clone nodded. "Yes, sir." she said and he nodded then. "All right." he said and Sam said it gently then. "Where's she going?" she asked and he said it firmly, as he looked at her then, as Alexander and Renfro working working on the computer then. "It's procedure, everything in the habitat is videoed, every 12 hours we take the video storage to the mini-sub and press the reset button."

"The idea is if something happens to us and we don't reset it the sub goes to the surface automatically. So if we're all dead, they at least have a partial record of what went wrong, cheerful thought, huh?" he said and then said it to Alexander. "Mind the store a minute, I'm going to the head."he said and Alexander nodded then. "Where's the Colonel?" she asked and he said it. "He's helping Eric to control it." he said to her then.

"Jump the attack and we go to our exchange after Queen's death here, as I do the autopsy." Parker said and they nodded, as they went to it. "Side effects to the job, they can handle killing people, their bodies ripped apart, and they get queasy at the side of an autopsy. Go figure, they call explosions and bloodshed excitement, we call it cold blooded murder." Barnes said and Sam swallowed hard, realizing he quit because what they saw as excitement was murder to him.

"Strange, I never seen a jellyfish like this before, I mean jellyfish like this are unheard, I haven't a clue what this one is. But the Antarctic Jellies are see through with orange undersides, not pinkish with white tentacles. And less then 120 sightings have been made, they never climb up this high either. That whoever went in there, replicated it off the movie." Parker said firmly and he, Daniel and Barnes nodded sternly.

"What's next: Belcher sea-snakes." Coyote said and she nodded. "That or duplicating an adult in goa'uld symbiotes, but since I left, it's been less seeing this things for real. And more looking at real animals right now in total truth here, but a symbiote lives in a temperate climate, not in water minus 35°' Fahrenheit around here." Daniel and they nodded. "That bad?" Alexander asked him and he nodded. "Worse." he said to him then.

"Your guess is as good as mine, Dave, trying to scare Danny up top, but nice try, we're finding species down here you never normally see here." She said and they nodded sternly. "Stop playing with that thing already and by that I mean the sphere, let's keep a straight mind. In truth here that whoever attempts an aggressive attack. And as we all know Eric hates octopi, but another squid attack, a certain someone here now."

"Said is trying to scare him back to CMC right now, not falling for it, she's desperate to protect herself, and tries to claim deepsea diving is just not for him, he should be back with the flyboys, but no, he's a seal and happily on the water here." Henderson said and she and Alexander nodded. "Yep and squid never climb passed their 1,000 meters, and we're 850ft and there's too much light up here to try that. But I wouldn't in truth."

"Now call this a lover's spat, but that she's crazy jealous, and desperate to the point of a class 5 threat here, that repeated attacks by tropical water animals, we know it." she said and the duo nodded sternly. "Well…., in that case, you know it's not me, because I never would attack a team mate that way." Walker said and they sighed in relief. "I'm glad to see you're awake Eric, where's the girls exactly?" Barnes asked and he smiled.

"Teeny just reported in, she saw Carter in the radio room, talking to someone, possibly O'neill." he said sternly and they all nodded sternly then. "Just in case of emergencies, I sent a clone to run that drop, before the blizzard struck." Barnes said and he nodded. "That's not Queenie, but a clone, well that's a big relief, the team is still intact right now, but that looks replicated off the movie, she never read my record."

"To know, not squid, but octopi here, or we don't get either one coming up to this level for god's sakes." he said and she and Barnes nodded. "I've seen worse, but nobody read it." he said to him then. "Yeah no kidding, but new species, we studied everything worth to study, who did this exactly, a new species to sink her teeth…, into." he said and they all lifted their heads, and Daniel smiled. "Well that helps right now." she said and he nodded.

"Uh huh, yeah, a way to keep ourselves entertained, we all read or watched everything. Here in the habitat, a few hundred times, this passed year right now, since Daniel joined in. So imagination, and we come up with new entertainment here." Alexander said and Daniel nodded with a smile then gently. "Yeah that and we're not getting paranoid enough to start attacking each other, but she's clearly trying to scare him."

"And back to Colorado Springs, but if this doesn't work, it's a squid attack next and if we don't get extra medical supplies, so heads up. It's an injury waiting to happen next, right now, so stick together, don't make one target." Walker said sternly and he nodded. "He told us what you and Karen decided, if you said Teeny heard her on the radio with that little bastard, at the moment." Levy said and Walker nodded gently then.

"Yeah I know, but if it means protecting him from those sick bastards, I'm doing whatever it takes, we are doing what it takes. And just to get her readmitted back to Hancock." he said and she, Henderson and Barnes all nodded then. "And I'm going to put up rotary door on the wetpool, double locks, so no coming in that way right now. But if she did what I think right now, keep an eye on her, if she's desperate enough."

"Just to attack the habitat, via the movie right now here." Barnes said sternly and the trio nodded. "And to say it now, who in here exactly is the one screwing around with the hose in the showers, guys." Henderson said and they smiled, as they ended it at that. "Guys we're not teenagers anymore, be careful, before you break something here." Walker said with a bemused smile and the trio nodded then, as we're discussing this at that.

After a fast discussion then between Daniel Henderson and himself then, it was that Renfro came up from the floor below. "Commander Barnes would like to see you, Ted." she said and he looked at her then. "Why?" he asked and she said it then. "Something's wrong with the computer, looks like whatever it was that killed Queenie, came back online." she said and he nodded as he went to the A/V room to check on it at that as he got to work.

As he tried to figure it out, but 45 minutes later he was stumped, as he sat there with a pencil in his hand. "Try purging it." Barnes said and he sighed at that. "I tried, it just keeps coming back." he said and Barnes thought it over. "Discharge from the buffer memory?" he asked and he shook his head. "No, I ruled that out, but we been using helium for years, the helium is getting to the chips, it's probably a saturation effect." he said and he sighed.

"If that's the case, then what are our options, then?" he asked and he explained it. "You have to change all the chips." he said and Daniel exchanged looks with Barnes at that news. "Going to be a long week if we have to change the environmental ones." he said and Barnes nodded in agreement. "Run this place on manual: It's going to be a long four days." he said as Walker came in gently at that remark. "Hey, boss." he said to him then.

"Eric." he said and Walker got straight to work. "Ted, you figured that out yet?" he said and he nodded. "It's a saturation effect." he said and he looked at it and then said it bemused. "I don't think so, if it's a saturation effect, it would be random, yeah Brandon, I think the effects kicked in, finally. Being as someone here in between us just had their inner desires trying to send us a message now." he said and Henderson straightened at that.

"What do you mean?" Alexander asked and he nodded. "Well, this has a pattern." he said as he typed in a command, as the single remark finally appeared, as they saw it was being repeated then. "See? It's like a code." he said and Barnes nodded. "Yeah, but a code from where exactly?" he asked, before Alexander shook his head bemused. "How'd you do that?" he said, knowing his best friend was beyond good then to spot it, as Barnes finished it then.

"How'd you see that?" he added and Walker said it to him then. "Try binary." he said and Daniel crossed his arms. "Better yet, check the back up lord, last time this happened we were picking up static interference from the beta gate. After realizing the NID were using it to steal technology from multiple planets 2 year ago." he said and Walker and Alexander both nodded as he did it. "Ah. See? Letter breaks." he said and they nodded then.

"You think this is coming from the sphere?" he said to him then and he sighed. "Don't know." he said and Barnes said it gently to him, in reminder, knowing what was being said was about to result in a case of safety prevention. "This mission is ultra top-secret: What you translate is for my eyes only." he said and he nodded, knowing 'my', meant 'we', in the case of him, Henderson, Sanderson and Haden then gently, as he answered him then gently then.

"If you were it, how would you know our alphabet, same way it's configured on a keyboard." he said and Alexander completed the remark, his mind going at breakneck speed to crack it then, as he remembered their discussion after Daniel threw it Sam's face, that they could get the solution in 20 minutes there at that remark. "Then starting at the center key, G, number the letters that spiraling out." he said and Daniel nodded. "Advanced math codes, how stupid does she think we are, I already uploaded that program after they were arguing with the brass about keeping Daniel at the SGC." He added sternly and Barnes nodded, realizing this was part of a fast program upload and Walker smiled at the remark. "Ted, you the man!" he said and he smiled then in pride.

"Still got it, I still got it, Eric, I still got the juice." he said smiling and Daniel wrote it down himself. "Numbers to letters that advanced math course, that is at the duo's school, numbers to letters." Daniel said and Renfro smiled. "Yeah alright take it easy guys, as this is like Hayden and his friend, in their working out how to reprogram the system." he said and Parker started laughing at that. "So Keyboard." Henderson said to this then

"All right, Ted, all we got to do now is plug in the numbers." Walker said and they nodded, before a message came across the screen then and they froze in shock as the sentence. Then appeared at this, 'Hello, how are you, I am fine, what is your name, my name is Cam.', as Walker said it carefully to that. "Friends, in the 8000 years of recorded history, this is a first, you're now online with an alien intelligence." he said and Daniel nodded.

"I was expecting a more alien name, Lya, Brenna, Thera or something along those lines, but Cam in girl form is short Carmen or Camryn." he said and Henderson nodded as Barnes answered him. "You got to be kidding, you must've messed up the translation." he said and Walker shook his head. "No I don't think so." he said and he said it then. "Hold on, just where do you wish to be exactly." Daniel asked it then, as he typed it out then.

And a gentle tone came across the screen. "I wish to be with my mate, it's been 3 years, I want to return to Gascony and be with my mate. But for the longest time, since the break up with Jonas, I been put on pause, and the drink unlocked the door. I want to find love and have a life, now that the remote lost control completely of me.' Parker read and they nodded. "Gascony, that's Aramis." Daniel said and Henderson nodded in shock.

"If this is right, this alien sounds like an idiot." Barnes said and then quickly said it to keep from offending the person on the opposite end. "And no offense here to you Mam, but seems to me, now that your host body entered the sphere, you just came out yourself. Then this is easy to tell, because your host is desperate in Daniel's case." he said and knew she nodded to that, as Parker looked up at him with a bemused smile then gently.

"That's something to consider: A stupid alien." She said and he looked at her as she completed the remark. "They must have them." she said and Walker nodded, as he said it to Barnes. "I'll admit that the message is childlike, but actually it's quite perfect: it's short, to the point. Non-threatening, kind of the way you talk to a small child, cat or a dog." he said and their cat meowed in response then. "Yeah cat." he said and they chuckled.

"And Goldie, stay off the keyboard, what are you doing down here, you're supposed to be with Omega right now." Barnes asked and he meowed a second time. "Alright you can stay, just stay off the keyboard please, mental cat is coming us. After screen started acting up at the moment." he said to him then and he meowed a third time, as he sat in Parker's lap in response and she stroked his back fur then, as another message appeared then.

"Look at this." Alexander said and he nodded. "She's making a speech." he said to him then in response, as they saw another one appear. 'I am pleased to be in contact with your entities, I am enjoying this much.'." he read and Barnes nodded as he chuckled, as he went to forward approach then. "Ask her for her last name." he said to him then. "What?" he said and he nodded. "Getting the full name here." Parker said and he nodded in agreement.

"I want a full name for my report, I'm not putting in my report I lost a crew member on a deep-sat expedition to find an alien named Cam, please, 'Cam'." he said and Alexander stepped into the conversation. "Eric, we ought to tell her, that we're enjoying it too." he said and Henderson said it to him then, as a message wrote itself out then. "My last name is Retrac." Parker read out and Daniel nodded as he crossed his arms at the news.

"Retrac is Carter spelled backwards, and Peter said there is no Camryn Carter in the family, that clearly she's arrogant enough to think I would never notice that." he said and she sighed, knowing now, she never had him fooled, he knew her too well not to know this. As Henderson crossed his arms. "Ask her where she's from." he said and Walker nodded as he said it, as he wrote it out. "Where are you from?" he asked her and a new one appeared.

"I make a journey, you make a journey, we make a journey together." he read out and they nodded. "And that doesn't even remotely sound like an alien, more of someone between us, their consciousness is now making moving jokes." Daniel said and they nodded. "Well I think Cam's channeling Deepak Chopra then at the moment, but this is getting ridiculous at the moment." Parker said in response and Walker nodded with a smile.

"A journey from where?" he read out and his eyes narrowed, as the next message came up then, and he froze up then. "From where?" he asked and the next one appeared then. 'I am happy.' they saw and Alexander nodded. "She's happy." he said and Henderson crossed his arms, knowing whoever was doing this, was trying to be deceitful then. "She's crafty." he said to that, knowing soon enough her attitude would start turning dangerous, as it went blank.

"What happened?" Alexander said quickly then. "Damn, I think we lost her." Walker said and Alexander said it carefully. "We're not alone, we are definitely not alone, it's trying to make contact with us." Alexander said to this and he nodded, as his eyes narrowed sternly. "Well whatever it is, it was inside that sphere, now it's out, free to act." he said in finality then. "What do you mean by that?" Alexander asked him, and he explained that.

"Free to take over our computers, free to call us on the phone, free to come over and knock on the door if it wants to." Walker said to him and he nodded. "A physical presence." Alexander said and seeing the look on Henderson's face, Barnes said it concerned. "What are you thinking about, Brand?" Barnes asked and he said it carefully. "That last part where she said, 'I am happy.'." he said and Walker looked at him at that response.

And as he was standing to his left then. "Yeah that's something I'd be worried about, and to complete the sentence here, is she's happy, she can actually force the connection. And drag Carter back to Gascony and she's refusing to do that, as she starts manifesting images. And of Aramis in the bedroom, as we heard the scream and know she finally had a psychotic break. And from reality after being cooped up down there this long." Parker said and he nodded then.

"Don't you want Cam to be happy?" Walker said to him then. "Honestly?" He asked him and he and Barnes nodded. "What's on your mind?" Barnes asked him and he nodded as he explained this. "I would be happy if Cam had no emotions whatsoever, as once you go down that road now." He said and broke it down in why, knowing as a psychiatrist, the I.D. had been without romantic contact so long here, she was about to start turning dangerous.

"Because the thing of it is, here's Cam: an emotional being, cooped up for 5 years with no one to talk to none of the socialization. The emotional growth that comes from contact with other emotional beings..." He said and Barnes nodded as Walker said it for all of them. "So?" Walker said and he nodded as he said it in finality. "What happens if Cam gets mad?" he said carefully, and they exchanged worried looks at the consideration then.

"When she break up with that lunatic?" Daniel asked and Lou crossed his arms. "The week you guys were on Abydos, I just got the news back from the generals and dad. The wedding was called off and we all knew there was part of the catch, one thing. Now, causes guys like this, to snap, one thing, and he breaking off the wedding was it, as next time we see him here, he crossed the line between crazy and megalomania now." Lam said and he nodded sternly then.

"With you 8 years younger here now, I met your parents not long after my parents death, but they, the Ferrettis, Carters and Hammonds. So walking into Lou at Creek Mountain of all places was a shock to system as he and I explained things to Charlie, Catherine, Barbara and Gary." he said and she nodded in understanding then. "So that little boy with the trio was you?" She said and he nodded. "Yeah, like Bart, I was the same way, as I healed." he said and she smiled then.

"And that's a good reason to be worried, you're not fooled by her, and we're all starting to realize here, that the power is going straight to her head. And after she supposedly murdered two members of the team and I went topside again. Leaving the 5 of you left, although the cat decided, for safety sake, he's not leaving Daniel, in being an emotional therapy kitty." Levy said and they nodded, as the cat meowed in agreement, knowing he was staying put then here.

"I take it you realized she couldn't understand how he loved this more then being in the SGC, in going into the cartouche, and saw this job as boring. But when we look at it, boring means safe here and the safer the better, because we're on that invulnerability serum. That prevents being killed, as does the cloning machines, and Daniel was taking on the responsibilities. Of being a full time security officer, with Will at his side." Walker said and Henderson nodded to him then.

"That's exactly what I was thinking, as she was realizing he loved the thrill of free climbing and scuba diving that deep. And she sees that, how could he possibly love this more then going into the cartouche, on the fact that he's remarried. And an expecting father, in only 11 months he turned the corner, and he's back to being himself again. And she's feeling lonely, he doesn't see the SGC the same way anymore, also the bond between you and him." he said and he nodded.

"Well you better see this now, because thanks to their being hung up on my transfer, and dad decided it was a combined party, but my birthday and transfer combined. And bringing along my friends and the quartet, Teal'C and a the quartet, knowing Kevin's here. And Kevin told his father, he's looking after Jason, while he transferred under me and Landry now. But they're hung up on their own safety, completely forgetting the date." he said and Parker crossed her arms.
