Chapter 112: Lapras
Hello everyone, this chapter is going to be my own take on the Viva La Lapras episode from the anime. This is a short chapter, and I hope you all enjoy it!
The chapter begins two days after the last chapter ended. During the past two days it's been pretty relaxing for the group as they stopped at a few islands where Ash trained his Pokémon with Misty and Leaf being his training partners. Tracey continues to do his sketches on the different Pokémon they come across. Leaf also captured some new Pokémon consisting of a shiny Wingull, a shiny Barboach and a shiny Gigalith which made Ash a little jealous. Speaking of Gigalith, now that Ash has one, he's grown a lot stronger and is a great training partner for Ash's other rock type Pokémon. For Decidueye, after he evolved, he still has the same personality he had as a Rowlett/Dartrix like sleeping and eating a lot. He along with Ash's Sceptile and Feraligatr try to impress some of the female Pokémon at Oak's lab, but they all ignore them making the 3-mons sad while Gengar, Rillaboom, Blastoise, Garchomp and Skeledirge laugh at them which makes the 3-mons mad as they chase them. Also, even though Decidueye can be a goof ball he's very strong in battle and managed to take down Leaf's Poliwrath in a pretty intense training battle.
Back in Pallet Town Prof. Oak along with Daisy have finally begun their research on the GS Ball. So far, they haven't discovered anything yet, but they continue their research. Ash has also been trying to teach Primeape Raging Fist but didn't know how to teach it to him, so Gengar has mainly been helping Primeape with that. With the update out of the way we now go into present time and see the group still riding on Lapras's back as she continues to swim. On Lapras's back we see Ash looking at his Orange League trophy as Misty speaks.
"Ash it's been 30 minutes now just how long are you going to keep looking at it?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.
"Sorry but I'm just so happy that I won." Ash responds with the group nodding. Lapras then notices something as she quickly makes a sharp turn to the left which almost causes everyone to fall off her back. Ash then looks at Lapras and speaks.
"Lapras why'd you turn so suddenly?" Ash asks as Lapras doesn't respond and continues to swim forward making Ash along with the others confused. As Lapras continues to swim forward Leaf sees something up ahead and speaks.
"There's something over there." Leaf says making everyone else look as a few seconds later they see a herd of Lapras. The group have surprised looks on their faces as Misty speaks.
"It's a herd of Lapras" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"I've never seen a herd of Lapras before I got to make sure I sketch this." Tracey says as he begins to sketch the mons Leaf speaks.
"Hey, do you guys think that this is Lapras's family?" Leaf asks as Tracey speaks.
"That is possible." Tracey responds as Ash listens to them and then remembers their goal of finding Lapras's family. Ash gets a sad look on his face as Pikachu along with Misty notice and before they can say anything Ash smiles and speaks.
"Well let's go greet them full speed ahead Lapras!" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she begins to swim faster. As the group is getting closer to the herd Lapras begins to call to them causing the other Lapras to look. Once they do, they see Lapras along with the gang on her back who're waving. The Lapras herd then begin to swim away surprising the group as Ash speaks.
"Why are they swimming away?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.
"Maybe they thought we were something else?" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"Let's try again." Leaf says with the group nodding as Lapras begins to swim after them. As Lapras is swimming she continues to call to the Lapras herd but they ignore her and as Lapras continues to call one of them stops swimming and looks back at Lapras. Once the mon does it realizes that, that's her daughter. Then when the mon is about to swim forward another Lapras appears in front of her telling her not to get too close as it then fires a Hydro Pump at Lapras and the group. Lapras manages to dodge the attack and when she does suddenly a white mist appears obscuring everyone's vision. A couple seconds later the white mist goes away as Misty speaks.
"The Lapras are gone." Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"I wonder why they were running away and attacked us? We didn't do anything to them." Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"I don't get it either as Lapras are usually pretty docile." Tracey says with the group nodding. Ash then looks at Lapras and sees that she has a sad look on her face. Ash then looks towards his left, sees a nearby island and speaks.
"Let's go over to that Island and call Prof. Oak" Ash says with the group nodding as Lapras begins to swim towards the island. A few minutes later the group have made it to the island, Ash returns Lapras back to her Pokeball as the group begin heading over to the nearest Pokémon Center. When they make it, they head over to a video phone and call Prof. Oak. The phone rings 3 times until the old man appears on the screen. When he does, he looks at the group and speaks.
"Oh, Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Tracey I wasn't expecting a call from you all today." Oak says as in the background we see Ash's Greninja along with Hitmonlee, Hawlucha, Sirfetch'd, Sceptile, Ceruledge, Incineroar, Scyther, and Kingambit meditating. Noctowl's sleeping on one of the monitors with Dudunsparce and Skeledirge sleeping on the floor. Lucario along with Gengar, Muk, Lycanroc, Tinkaton, Raichu, Ninetales, Dragonite, Primeape, and Meowscarada are running around playing tag. We also see Daisy doing some research on the GS Ball as Clefable walks over to her and hands her some coffee with Daisy saying thank you. Ash then speaks.
"Looks like my Pokémon are having fun." Ash says with Oak nodding as he then speaks.
"So, Ash what can I do for you today? Are you calling to switch out your Pokémon?" Oak asks as Ash speaks.
"No not today but we do have a question for you" Ash says as Oak speaks.
"A question?" Oak asks with Ash nodding as he tells him about the herd of Lapras that ran away from them. Oak then thinks for a little bit and speaks.
"That's strange usually Lapras are friendly towards humans and wouldn't run away from them unless." Oak says as Misty speaks.
"Unless what?" Misty asks as Oak speaks.
"Unless they were attack by humans." Oak says as the group then hear a voice.
"Yes, you're right" The voice says causing the group to turn around as they see an Officer Jenny. Ash then speaks.
"Do you know why the Lapras ran away?" Ash asks with the woman nodding as she begins to speak.
"Yes, you see this area is a nature reserve for Pokémon to feel safe in but recently Pokémon poachers and have been attacking/stealing Pokémon in the area." Jenny says as Leaf speaks.
"So, that explains it." Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"I wonder what kind of poachers they are?" Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"You don't think it's Hunter J, do you?" Misty asks as Jenny speaks.
"No thankfully it's not her but these poachers are still dangerous." Jenny says as Ash speaks.
"What makes them dangerous?" Ash asks as Jenny speaks.
"Beforehand it was just some poachers on a pirate ship attacking some nearby Pokémon but then about a week ago they were defeated by a group called the Hexagon Brothers." Jenny says surprising the group as they speak.
"The Hexagon Brothers?!" The group say as Jenny continues to speak.
"Once they took over the pirate's ship, they've been going around attacking not just wild Pokémon but people as well and taking their Pokémon. We tried our best to stop them but weren't a match for their Shadow Pokémon." Jenny says with the group nodding as Tracey speaks.
"So, the Hexagon Brothers are the ones behind this." Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"We need to stop them before they try to attack Lapras's family." Leaf says with the others nodding as Ash looks at Jenny and speaks.
"Officer Jenny let us help we've experience dealing with the Hexagon Brothers before and will defeat their Shadow Pokémon." Ash says while having a determined look on his face with the others having the same look. Jenny looks at them, smiles and speaks.
"Okay I'll leave it to you as for right now I'm waiting for members of the International Police to come so once I meet them, we'll join you." Jenny says with the group nodding as Ash then goes back over to Prof. Oak and speaks.
"Okay Prof. Oak we're going to end the call now." Ash says as Oak speaks.
"Okay and make sure you all stay safe." Oak says with the group nodding as Ash then ends the video call. When he does, he looks at the group and speaks.
"Okay guys let's go!" Ash says with the others nodding as they quickly run out of the center and head over to the beach. When they make it Ash sends out Lapras who allows for the group to get on her back as she then begins to swim forward. We now cut away from the group and head over to a pirate ship. On the ship we see the Hexagon Brothers Greesix is looking through a telescope as Browsix walks next to him and speaks.
"Have you found anything yet?" Browsix asks as Greesix speaks.
"Not yet" Greesix responds as then a couple seconds later he sees the Lapras herd that appeared earlier in the chapter, smiles and speaks.
"I see a herd of Lapras!" Greesix says as Yellosix speaks.
"I wonder if it's the same Lapras herd we attacked before?" Yellosix asks as Blusix speaks.
"It most likely is as so far they're the only Lapras we've seen in this area." Blusix says as Purpsix speaks.
"I can't wait to add them to our collection." Purpsix says while looking at a machine that has multiple Pokeball's with captured Pokémon inside it. The 5 brothers then look at Resix who's sitting in the captain's chair as he speaks.
"Let's attack them. Yellosix, Greesix send out the Tentacruel." Resix says with the two men nodding as they load the cannons and launch them. Out of the cannons appear multiple Pokeball's and what come out of the Pokeball's are Tentacruel. The mons land in the water and have serious looks on their faces as Resix speaks.
"Purpsix" Resix says with the man nodding as he pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Tentacruel come out!" Purpsix says as he throws the ball forward and sends out his Shadow Tentacruel that lands in the water. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Purpsix speaks.
"Tentacruel you along with the other ones go after the Lapras!" Purpsix says with the mon nodding as it commands the other Tentacruel to follow it. Over with the Lapras herd they continue to happily swim and as they continue the leader Lapras sees multiple Tentacruel's heading for them. The leader Lapras then commands the rest of the herd to swim faster as they then begin to swim away. Over with the Hexagon Brothers they see the Lapras swimming away as Greesix speaks.
"Looks like they're running away like last time." Greesix says as Blusix speaks.
"Well unfortunately for them they aren't going to escape" Blusix says as he pulls out a Pokeball and throws it forward. Out of the ball appears his Shadow Metagross who has a serious look on its face as Blusix speaks.
"Metagross stop the Lapras with Psychic!" Blusix calls with Metagross nodding as it quickly fires out a big wave of psychic energy that manages to connect with the Lapras herd. Once it does the Lapras try to move but are unable to as Resix speaks.
"Purpsix" Resix says with Purpsix nodding as he calls for a command.
"Tentacruel fire your Sludge Bombs!" Purpsix calls with his Tentacruel nodding as it along with the other Tentacruel's begin to fire out multiple bombs of sludge that make contact with the Lapras's making them all cry out in pain. Over with the Hexagon brothers Yellosix pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Manectric come out!" Yellosix says as he throws the ball forward, sends out his Shadow Manectric and calls for a command.
"Use Electro Web!" Yellosix calls as Manectric throws an electric ball forward that then becomes a big electric net that wraps up the entire herd and shocks them. Inside the net the Lapras herd all cry out in pain as Resix speaks.
"Blusix" Resix says with Blusix nodding as he speaks.
"Metagross pull them in with Psychic!" Blusix calls with Metagross nodding as it begins to slowly pull the Lapras herd to the ship. Over with the Hexagon Brothers they have smiles on their faces as we now cut back to the group who are currently riding on Lapras's back. As Lapras continues to swim Misty speaks.
"You know even if we do find the Lapras herd how will we be able to have them follow us?" Misty asks as Ash speaks.
"That's simple Misty we'll just use this." Ash says while having a smile on his face making the group confused as Leaf speaks.
"Um are you trying to show us something?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.
"My smile I'm using my smile because if we come to them with friendly and warm smiles they shouldn't need to run away." Ash responds with the group nodding as Tracey speaks.
"I guess we can give it a try." Tracey says with the group nodding as suddenly they hear something as Misty speaks.
"What was that?!" Misty asks as Leaf speaks.
"It came from over there!" Leaf says causing the others to look as they see a big pirate ship with the Hexagon Brothers on it as Tracey speaks.
"It's a Pirate Ship and the Hexagon Brothers are there!" Tracey says as Ash then looks forward and sees the Lapras herd caught in an Electro Web then speaks.
"They got Lapras's family trapped in a net!" Ash says as Misty speaks.
"We need to help them!" Misty says with the group nodding as Ash pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Decidueye, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball high in the air and sends out his Decidueye. Leaf along with Tracey pull out their Pokeball's too and speak.
"Come Out!" The two trainers say as Leaf sends out her shiny Talonflame and Flamigo while Tracey sends out his Venomoth and Scyther. Ash then looks at Decidueye and speaks.
"Decidueye you along with Talonflame, Flamigo, Venomoth, and Scyther go save the Lapras!" Ash says with the 5-mons nodding as they begin to fly forward Misty then looks at Togetic and speaks.
"Togetic, you go too" Misty says with the mon nodding as he flies forward and joins the others while Lapras swims faster. Back to the Hexagon Brothers they see the captured Lapras herd getting close to their ship and have smiles on their faces as they then hear a voice.
"Use Air Slash!" The voices say as suddenly multiple slashes of wind appear that connect with the Electro Web and destroy it allowing for the Lapras to go free. The 6 brothers all have surprised looks on their faces as Greesix speaks.
"What happened?!" Greesix asks as Browsix looks at the sky and speaks.
"Look in the air!" Browsix says causing the brothers to look in the air as they see Decidueye, Talonflame, Flamigo, Togetic, Scyther, and Venomoth looking at them Yellosix then speaks.
"Where'd they come from?!" Yellosix asks as Resix looks towards his left and speaks.
"Who else" Resix says as he along with his brothers see the group riding on Lapras and heading towards them Blusix speaks.
"It's those kids again!" Blusix says as Purpsix speaks.
"So, they're here this is good as I've been wanting to get my revenge on that brat with the Pikachu." Purpsix says as a few seconds later once Lapras gets close to the ship she then stops as Ash speaks.
"Hexagon Brothers today's the day we stop you for good!" Ash says with his friends nodding as Resix speaks.
"Try as you might but you can't as We Are the Sextuplets!" Resix says as the brothers then get into formation and speak.
"We Are! We Are!" The other 5 say as Resix speaks.
"We strike terror throughout the land! For We Are! The Hexagon Brothers! Sound Off!" "Sound Off!" Resix along with his brothers say as they then do a pose with colorful explosions suddenly appearing behind them. Resix then speaks.
"Do you feel the terror now?" Resix asks while he along with his brothers have smiles on their faces. Over with the group they have bewildered looks on their faces as Misty speaks.
"That's right I forgot that they do that." Misty says with the group nodding as Ash then notices the Lapras herd swimming away with the Tentacruel going after them then speaks.
"The Lapras we need to help them!" Ash says with the group nodding as just when Lapras is about to swim forward Resix speaks.
"You're not going anywhere. Fire the cannons!" Resix says with Greesix and Yellosix nodding as they begin firing multiple cannons that shoot out cannon balls heading for the group as Ash speaks.
"Lapras look out!" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she begins to easily dodge the cannon balls Blusix speaks.
"Metagross hold them in place with Psychic!" Blusix calls with the mon nodding as it sends out a wave of psychic energy that connects with Lapras and holds her in place as Resix speaks.
"Now fire again!" Resix calls with Greesix and Yellosix nodding as they fire multiple cannons sending a lot of cannon balls at the group. Just when the cannon balls are about to make contact with them Decidueye uses Leaf Storm and Talonflame uses Fire Blast to knock the cannon balls away making the group happy as Yellosix speaks.
"Manectric use Thunder!" Yellosix calls as the mon fires the electric bolt that heads for the two mons as Ash and Leaf speak.
"Dodge!" Both trainers call allowing for them to easily dodge the Thunder as Misty and Tracey speak.
"Togetic use Moonblast!" "Scyther, Venomoth use Air Slash!" Both trainers' call. Togetic along with Scyther and Venomoth fire their attacks that head for Manectric as Blusix speaks.
"Metagross use Flash Cannon!" Blusix calls with Metagross nodding as it fires out a steel beam that collides with the attacks creating an explosion as Resix speaks.
"Fire the cannons!" Resix calls as Greesix and Yellosix fire the cannons Ash, Misty, and Leaf speak.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" "Vaporeon come out and use Hydro Pump!" "Flamigo use Air Slash!" The 3 trainers call as Misty sends out her Vaporeon and she along with Pikachu and Flamigo fire their attacks that collide with the cannon balls creating an explosion as Resix looks at Purpsix and speaks.
"Purpsix have the Tentacruel capture the Lapras!" Resix says with Purpsix nodding as he looks over at his Tentacruel and speaks.
"Tentacruel use Sludge Bomb on the Lapras!" Purpsix calls with the mon nodding as it along with the other Tentacruel begin to fire out multiple bombs of sludge that hit the Lapras doing damage to them as Leaf speaks.
"The Lapras are in trouble!" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"But as long as the Hexagon Brothers and their Cannon balls are in the way we can't get to them." Tracey says as Misty pulls out 5 Pokeball's and speaks.
"Golisopod, Palafin, Inteleon, Quaquaval, and Milotic come out!" Misty says as she throws the 5 balls forward and sends out her Pokémon who land in the water along with Vaporeon. Misty then gets on Milotic's back and speaks.
"My Pokémon and I will take care of the cannons you guys deal with the Hexagon Brothers and help the Lapras." Misty says with the group nodding they then pull out their Pokeball's and speak.
"Dracovish, I choose you!" "Go! Poliwrath!" "Azumarill come out!" Ash along with Leaf, and Tracey say as they throw the 3 balls forward and send out the mons. Once the 3 mons appear Ash looks at them and speaks.
"Help Misty and her Pokémon deal with the cannons!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as they join Misty along with her Pokémon who go to deal with the cannons as she speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls with the water types nodding as they all fire out their Hydro Pumps that go to deal with the cannons as Greesix speaks.
"They're going to take out the cannons!" Greesix says as Blusix speaks.
"Metagross use Psychic!" Blusix calls as Metagross quickly fires out the waves of psychic energy that connect with the Hydro Pumps and get rid of them. Once that happens Blusix speaks.
"I'll deal with her continue the mission!" Blusix says with his brothers nodding as Blusix calls for his next command.
"Use Psyshock!" Blusix calls. Metagross summons multiple psychic orbs around itself and sends them at Misty along with her Pokémon as she speaks.
"Golisopod use Pin Missile!" Misty calls. Golisopod roars and sends out multiple pin like missiles that connect with the psychic orbs and easily go through them as Blusix speaks.
"Use Meteor Mash!" Blusix calls. Metagross covers its body in steel energy and shoots forward. The mon easily goes through the Pin Missiles as Misty speaks.
"Dracovish counter with Dragon Rush and Inteleon, Quaquaval use Liquidation!" Misty calls as Dracovish along with Inteleon and Quaquaval jump out of the water and collide with Metagross creating an explosion. Out of the explosion the four mons appear as Dracovish, Inteleon, and Quaquaval land back in the water while Metagross floats back in the air. Misty along with Blusix look at each other as they call for their next commands and continue their battle. Back to the others they're about to go and try to help the Lapras's again as Yellosix speaks.
"Use Thunder!" Yellosix calls as his Manectric fires out a big electric bolt that heads for the group as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu counter with your Thunder!" Ash calls with Pikachu nodding as he fires out his own Thunder that collides with Manectric's creating an explosion. When the explosion clears the group looks at the ship and see a Shadow Ursaring charging up a Hyper Beam as Browsix speaks.
"Use Hyper Beam!" Browsix calls with Ursaring roaring as it fires out a big orange beam Leaf speaks.
"Talonflame use Fire Blast!" Leaf calls. Talonflame fires out a big blast of fire from its mouth that collides with the Hyper Beam creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Tracey speaks.
"If we continue to battle them, they're going to take the Lapras!" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"We need to get on that ship!" Leaf says as Ash then looks at Lapras and speaks.
"Lapras are you okay with saving your family by yourself?" Ash asks as Lapras looks at Ash and nods while having a determined look on her face with Ash nodding too as Ash speaks.
"Okay Lapras get us on that ship!" Ash says with Lapras nodding as she lets out a roar and begins to swim forward as Browsix speaks.
"Ursaring use Hyper Beam!" "Manectric Thunder!" Browsix along with Yellosix call as the two mons fire out their moves that go to hit Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunder!" "Talonflame use Fire Blast!" Both trainers' call. Pikachu along with Talonflame fire their attacks that connect with the Hyper Beam and Thunder creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Lapras who begins swimming over to the Lapras herd as Yellosix speaks.
"You're not going anywhere! Manectric use-" Just when Yellosix's about to call for a command they then here a voice.
"Pikachu use Thunder!" The voice calls as suddenly a large electric bolt comes from the sky and hits Manectric creating an explosion. Yellosix has a surprised look on his face as Greesix speaks.
"Where'd that come from?!" Greesix asks as Resix then looks up in the air and sees Ash along with Tracey and Pikachu being carried by Decidueye's legs while Leaf is holding onto Talonflame's leg. The two mons then safely place the 3 trainers on the ship as Ash speaks.
"Thanks guys" Ash says with the two-mons nodding as Yellosix speaks.
"But how?" Yellosix asks as Resix speaks.
"It's simple after that explosion it gave them enough cover for their flying types to grab them and when Lapras came out first it allowed for them to do a surprise attack." Resix says as Ash speaks.
"That's right and now that we're here we'll make sure that you won't get in Lapras's way!" Ash says with Leaf and Tracey agreeing with him as Resix smiles and speaks.
"Do you honestly think you can beat us when we have you outnumbered?" Resix asks as Yellosix, Browsix, and Greesix appear while looking at the group as Ash speaks.
"Actually, if anyone's outnumbered it's you guys" Ash says as he along with Leaf and Tracey throw their Pokeball's in the air sending out their next Pokémon. Leaf sends out her Venusaur, Shiny Ditto, and shiny Arctozolt. Tracey sends out Smeargle and Ash brings out Melmetal, Pignite, and Rhyperior. The mons stand alongside their trainers and are ready to battle as Resix speaks.
"Your Pokémon line up is indeed impressive but it's nothing compared to us!" Resix says as he throws a ball forward and sends out his Shadow Camerupt while Greesix sends out his Shadow Breloom. The two mons stand next to Ursaring and Manectric and look at the groups Pokémon with the mons looking at them. They all continue to look at each other as Ash speaks.
"Let's Go guys!" Ash says as Resix speaks.
"Attack!" Resix says as the mons on both sides charge forward and collide beginning their battle. Over with Purpsix he's a little annoyed that he's not battling Ash but then recomposes himself and focuses on the task at hand with the Lapras herd and speaks.
"Tentacruel surround the Lapras!" Purpsix calls with it along with the other Tentacruel surrounding the Lapras herd. The mons look around and have worried looks on their faces as Purpsix speaks.
"Use Screech!" Purpsix calls with his Tentacruel along with the other ones nodding as they all fire out a loud screeching sound that hurts the ears of the Lapras making them groan in pain as Purpsix speaks.
"Yes, that's it now use Gunk Shot!" Purpsix calls with his Tentacruel nodding as when it goes to throw the trash can it then gets hit by Ash's Lapras who's using Waterfall. Purpsix's Tentacruel is sent sliding back a few feet away as Purpsix speaks.
"What?!" Purpsix says as he looks at sees that Ash's Lapras was the one that hit Tentacruel and has a serious look on her face. Purpsix is a little surprised but then smiles and speaks.
"Well now isn't this great. If I manage to steal this Lapras then that boy will have to give up." Purpsix says to himself as he calls for a command.
"Tentacruel use Sludge Bomb!" Purpsix calls with his Tentacruel nodding as it fires out multiple bombs of sludge at Lapras. Lapras manages to easily evade the poison bombs of sludge then fires out a big Blizzard as Purpsix speaks.
"Dodge!" Purpsix calls with his Tentacruel nodding as it easily avoids the Blizzard Purpsix speaks.
"Hah you missed!" Purpsix says but then sees the Blizzard hit the other Tentacruel's and freezes them. Purpsix has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"So, that was your plan." Purpsix says as Lapras smiles then begins to swim away making Purpsix angry as he speaks.
"You're not going anywhere! Tentacruel go after it!" Purpsix calls with his Tentacruel nodding as it along with the other Tentacruel's begin going after Ash's Lapras. Over with the Lapras herd they see Ash's Lapras having the Tentacruel's go after her and see the gang fighting the Hexagon Brothers. We now go back to the ship and see Ash along with Leaf, and Tracey battling. Leaf is taking on Greesix, Tracey's battling Yellosix while Ash is battling Resix and Browsix. We zoom in on Leaf's battle with Greesix as he speaks.
"Breloom use Sludge Bomb!" Greesix calls as Breloom fires out multiple poison bombs from its mouth Leaf speaks.
"Venusaur counter with your Sludge Bomb!" Leaf calls. Venusaur nods and fires out its own Sludge Bombs that collide with Breloom's creating an explosion. Out of the smoke appears Leaf's Talonflame and Flamigo who're flying forward as Leaf speaks.
"Talonflame use Flame Charge and Flamigo use Aerial Ace!" Leaf calls with the two-mons nodding as Talonflame covers its body in fire while Flamigo speeds up. The two mons are heading for Breloom as Greesix speaks.
"Counter with Shadow Rush!" Greesix calls. Breloom covers its body in shadow energy and shoots forward colliding with the two birds. They begin to push each other back and forth but then a few seconds later they all bounce away from each other as Leaf speaks.
"Arctozolt use Ice Beam!" Leaf calls with the mon nodding as it fires out an icy beam that heads for Breloom as Greesix speaks.
"Use Dynamic Punch!" Greesix calls. Breloom's right fist glows and punches the icy beam easily destroying it. When that happens Leaf's shiny Ditto appears in front of Breloom as Leaf speaks.
"Ditto transform into Talonflame and use Acrobatics!" Leaf calls with Ditto nodding as it transforms into Leaf's shiny Talonflame, glows in blue flying energy, and shoots forward hitting Breloom repeatedly. Ditto then hits Breloom one more time making the mon slide back a few feet away as Leaf speaks.
"Arctozolt use Ice Beam!" Leaf calls. Arctozolt fires out the icy beam that goes to hit Breloom as Greesix speaks.
"Dodge Breloom!" Greesix calls as Breloom quickly jumps in the air avoiding the icy beam. Once it does, Leaf's Flamigo appears in front of it as Leaf speaks.
"Kick it back down with High Jump Kick!" Leaf calls with Flamigo nodding as it slams its left leg hard onto Breloom's head and sends the mon crashing back down on the ground as Leaf speaks.
"Okay let's finish it off! Venusaur use Sludge Bomb and Talonflame, Ditto use Fire Blast!" Leaf calls with the 3-mons nodding as they fire their attacks that combine into one and hit Breloom creating an explosion as Greesix speaks.
"Breloom!" Greesix calls in worry as when the smoke clears Breloom's lying on its stomach knocked out. Greesix has a surprised look on his face as Leaf speaks.
"We won!" Leaf says happily with her Pokémon cheering too. We now come over to Tracey who's battling Yellosix as he calls for a command.
"Manectric use Thunder!" Yellosix calls as the mon fires out a big electric bolt that heads for Tracey's Pokémon as Tracey speaks.
"Dodge and Smeargle use Sketch!" Tracey calls with the 3-mons nodding as they easily avoid the attack. Smeargle then sketches the Thunder and fires out his own as Yellosix speaks.
"Use Thunder Fang!" Yellosix calls. Manectric covers its teeth in electricity and bites down on the electric bolt creating an explosion as Tracey speaks.
"Scyther use Fury Cutter!" Tracey calls. Out of the smoke appears Tracey's Scyther who has his scythes covered in red bug energy and slashes Manectric causing damage to the mon. Yellosix then speaks.
"Use Thunder Fang!" "Scyther dodge and Venomoth use Psychic!" Both trainers' call. Manectric covers its teeth in electricity and goes to bite Scyther, but the mantis manages to dodge the attack. Up in the air Venomoth fires out a wave of psychic energy that connects with Manectric and begins causing damage to it as Yellosix speaks.
"Break out of there with Crunch!" Yellosix calls. Manectric covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on the psychic easily destroying it. When that happens, Smeargle ready's himself as Tracey speaks.
"Smeargle use Giga Impact!" Tracey calls. Smeargle covers his body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward heading for Manectric as Yellosix speaks.
"Blow it away with Thunder!" Yellosix calls. Manectric roars as it fires out a big electric bolt that connects with Smeargle and begins to slowly push the mon back as Tracey speaks.
"Smeargle don't give up!" Tracey calls with Smeargle nodding as he increases his power allowing for him to go through the Thunder and hit Manectric sending the mon flying. Manectric crashes into a wall behind Yellosix and lays on the ground knocked out. Yellosix has a surprised look on his face as Tracey speaks.
"Yes!" Tracey says as his Pokémon let out a cheer. We now go over to Ash's battle with Resix and Browsix. We see an explosion and out of it appears Ash's Pignite and Pikachu along with Resix's Camerupt and Browsix's Ursaring. Ash sees that Leaf along with Tracey have won their battles then speaks.
"Looks like my friends took out two of your teammates." Ash says as Resix speaks.
"That's fine because as long as Blusix and Purpsix are still active we aren't worried." Resix says with Browsix agreeing with him as Resix speaks.
"Now Camerupt use Fire Blast!" "Ursaring use Hyper Beam" Resix along with Browsix call as their mons fire out their attacks that head for Ash's Pokémon. Ash then speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt, Pignite use Flamethrower and Melmetal use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls with the 3-mons nodding as they fire their attacks. The Thunderbolt along with the Flamethrower collide with the Fire Blast while the Flash Cannon collides with the Hyper Beam creating an explosion. Ash then calls for his next command.
"Rhyperior use Drill Run on Camerupt!" Ash calls. Rhyperior nods as she turns into a drill and shoots forward heading for Camerupt as Browsix speaks.
"Ursaring intercept with Shadow Rush!" Browsix calls. Ursaring lets out a roar as it covers its body in shadow energy, shoots forward and collides with Rhyperior. When that happens, this forces Rhyperior to come out of her drill state as she along with Ursaring then get into a grapple. As they're grappling Rhyperior's easily overpowering Ursaring as Browsix speaks.
"Ursaring use Hammer Arm!" "Rhyperior dodge and Decidueye use Spirit Shackle!" Both trainers' call. Ursaring manages to get out of the grapple then covers its left arm in white energy and goes to hit Rhyperior. Rhyperior manages to back away in time causing Ursaring to miss as Decidueye fires an arrow. The arrow connects with Ursaring's shadow but doesn't do anything to the mon as Browsix speaks.
"Did you forget that ghost type moves don't have effect on Normal types?" Browsix asks as Ash speaks.
"No, I was just using it as a distraction." Ash responds, making Browsix confused as Ash calls for a command.
"Melmetal use Dynamic Punch!" Ash calls. Melmetal's right fist glows and extends it forward going to hit Ursaring as Browsix speaks.
"Ursaring dodge!" Browsix calls but unfortunately for him Ursaring can't dodge in time as Melmetal's fist hits the mon and sends it flying. Ursaring goes past Browsix and crashes into the wall behind him as Browsix speaks.
"Ursaring!" Browsix calls as when the smoke clears Ursaring's leaning against the wall and is knocked out. Browsix has a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Alright! Great job Melmetal!" Ash says with Melmetal nodding as it flexes its muscles Resix speaks.
"Why you! Camerupt use Fire Blast on Melmetal!" Resix calls. Camerupt roars and fires out a big blast of fire that heads for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Rhyperior get rid of it then use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Rhyperior nods as she appears in front of the blast of fire and swings out her left arm easily knocking it away. Rhyperior then summons a large sharp stone and sends it at Camerupt as Resix speaks.
"Camerupt use Protect!" Resix calls. Camerupt summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack as Ash speaks.
"Decidueye use Leaf Storm!" Ash calls. Decidueye summons a storm of leaves and sends it at Camerupt as Resix speaks.
"Camerupt burn through them with Fire Blast!" Resix calls. Camerupt lets out a roar and sends out a big blast of fire that easily burns through the storm of leaves and heads for Decidueye, but the green owl avoids the attack. Resix then looks forward and sees Pignite on Melmetal's right hand as Ash speaks.
"Melmetal throw Pignite forward and Pignite use Double Edge!" Ash calls with both mons nodding as Melmetal throws Pignite forward making him go at a fast speed. Pignite's body glows, points his left shoulder forward and hits Camerupt hard in the face causing damage to the mon. Camerupt groans in pain as Resix speaks.
"That's it I've had enough! Camerupt use Eruption!" "Pignite back away!" Both trainers' call. Pignite quickly jumps back as Camerupt's volcano humps heat up then lets out a mighty roar shooting out large chunks of magma that heads for Ash's Pokémon as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu blow it away with Surf!" Ash calls. Pikachu gains a blue outline and lets out a loud "Pika!" summoning a large wave of water that collides with the Eruption and easily gets rid of it. The Surf now heads for Camerupt as Resix speaks.
"Use Protect!" "Decidueye use Shadow Sneak!" Both trainers' call. When Camerupt's about to use Protect Decidueye quickly sends out a shadowy figure that appears in front of Camerupt and slaps it across the face stopping the mon from using Protect. The Surf then comes crashing down on Camerupt and is causing super effective damage to the mon. Once the Surf is gone Camerupt's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Now Melmetal use Flash Cannon and Rhyperior use Scorching Sands!" Ash calls. Melmetal along with Rhyperior fire their attacks that combine into one and head for Camerupt as Resix speaks.
"Use Protect!" Resix calls. Camerupt quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the combined attack creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Camerupt looks up in the air and sees Pignite falling towards it as Ash speaks.
"Pignite use Heat Crash!" Ash calls. Pignite incases his body in a fire sphere and begins falling towards Camerupt as Resix speaks.
"Camerupt dodge!" "Decidueye use Spirit Shackle!" Both trainers' call. As Camerupt goes to dodge Decidueye fires an arrow that sticks onto Camerupt's shadow and also does some damage to Camerupt. Camerupt groans in pain and when it tries to go away it can't move. Camerupt then sees Pignite getting closer to it as Resix speaks.
"Camerupt use Eruption!" "Do it Pignite!" Both trainers' call. Camerupt's unable to use Eruption in time as Pignite crashes onto Camerupt creating an explosion. When the explosion clears it showcases Pignite standing while looking at an unconscious Camerupt who's laying on its stomach and is knocked out. Resix has a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.
"Alright!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon as Browsix looks at Resix and speaks.
"We need to get out of here." Browsix says with Resix, Greesix, and Yellosix agreeing with him. They return their Pokémon back to their Pokeball's and begin running away as Tracey speaks.
"They're getting away!" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"Venusaur use Vine Whip!" Leaf calls with Venusaur nodding as it shoots out 4 vines that reach the four brothers and wraps them tightly. The 4 brothers groan in pain as they look over at Ash, Leaf, and Tracey as Ash speaks.
"You're not going anywhere." Ash says with Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon agreeing with him making the 4 brothers angry. We now come over to Misty's battle against Blusix as he speaks.
"Metagross use Flash Cannon!" Blusix calls. Metagross fires out a big steel beam that heads for Misty and the water types as she speaks.
"Quaquaval kick it away and Inteleon, Vaporeon, Palafin use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls. Quaquaval quickly jumps out of the water and kicks the steel beam away with his left leg. After that Inteleon along with Vaporeon, Palafin, Leaf's Poliwrath and Tracey's Azumarill fire out a combined Hydro Pump that heads for Metagross as Blusix speaks.
"Use Psychic to send it back!" Blusix calls. Metagross fires out a big wave of psychic energy that connects with the combined Hydro Pump and sends it back towards Misty and the Pokémon as Misty speaks.
"Dracovish use Fishious Rend and Golisopod use Liquidation!" Misty calls. Dracovish along with Golisopod head for the Hydro Pump and bite/cut it respectively easily getting rid of it as Blusix speaks.
"Now Metagross use Meteor Mash!" Blusix calls. Metagross covers its body in steel energy and heads for the two mons as Misty speaks.
"Golisopod block it!" Misty calls. Golisopod quickly gets in front of Dracovish brings up his arms and blocks Metagross's attack. Golisopod along with Dracovish are knocked back into the water as Blusix speaks.
"Now Metagross fire the cannons with Psychic!" Blusix calls. Metagross nods as it uses its psychic powers to load the cannons and fire them. Multiple cannon balls are now heading for Misty along with the Pokémon as Misty speaks.
"Dodge!" Misty calls with the mons nodding as they begin to easily evade the cannon balls Blusix speaks.
"Metagross use Steel Beam!" Blusix calls. Metagross's body glows in steel energy and fires out a big steel beam that heads for Misty's Palafin, Inteleon, Quaquaval, Vaporeon and Golisopod. As the beam is about to hit them Misty speaks.
"Milotic use Mirror Coat!" Misty calls. Milotic quickly appears in front of the beam and takes the hit as there's a big explosion Blusix speaks.
"Hah! That should've taken care of you" Blusix says while having a smile on his face as when the smoke clears it reveals Milotic still being active and groaning in pain. Blusix's a little surprised that Milotic survived the Steel Beam as Milotic then summons a mirror and out of it comes a large beam that heads for Metagross as Blusix speaks.
"Metagross dodge!" Blusix calls. Metagross easily dodges the attack as Blusix speaks.
"Hah! You missed!" Blusix says as Misty speaks.
"Actually, we didn't as you weren't our target." Misty responds, making Blusix confused as he looks at the beam connecting with the ship and begins destroying all of the cannons. Blusix has a surprised look on his face as all of the cannons are destroyed Misty speaks.
"It worked!" Misty cheers along with the Pokémon making Blusix mad as he speaks.
"Why You! Metagross use Psychic!" Blusix calls. As when Metagross goes to fire the move Misty speaks.
"Togetic use Moonblast!" Misty calls. Suddenly a pink orb of fairy energy hits Metagross causing damage to the mon and making it stop using its attack as Misty speaks.
"Golisopod use Bug Buzz!" Misty calls. Golisopod roars and sends out a wave of green bug energy that connects with Metagross causing super effective damage to the mon and lowering its special defense. Metagross groans in pain as Misty speaks.
"Now use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls. Her Vaporeon, Palafin, Inteleon, Quaquaval and Milotic fire the move with Ash's Dracovish, Leaf's Poliwrath, and Tracey's Azumarill firing the attack as well. The Hydro Pump's combine into one big stream of water and head for Metagross as Blusix speaks.
"Metagross dodge!" Blusix calls but was too late as the combined Hydro Pump hits Metagross causing damage to the mon. When the Hydro Pump goes away Metagross along with Blusix fall into the water then resurface. Blusix coughs up some water and can see that Metagross is unable to battle. Blusix has a surprised look on his face as he then looks forward and sees Misty along with the Pokémon surrounding him. Blusix can see that he has nowhere to go, as he returns Metagross back to its Pokeball and gives up making Misty smile as she pulls out a rope and ties him up. Blusix looks at Misty as she speaks.
"Now stay put." Misty says making Blusix angry as he turns his face away. Back on the ship Leaf looks down at the water and speaks.
"Looks like Misty won her battle." Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"And now we have one more." Ash says as he along with Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon look over at Purpsix. Purpsix turns around and sees that all of his brothers have been defeated as Ash speaks.
"This is the end give up!" Ash says making Purpsix angry as he speaks.
"No, I won't give up and your attention shouldn't be on me." Purpsix says making Ash along with the others confused as they then see Ash's Lapras being chased by Purpsix's Tentacruel and the other Tentacruel. Ash along with the others have surprised looks on their faces as Purpsix speaks.
"Instead of focusing on me you should try to save your Lapras." Purpsix says as he calls for a command.
"Tentacruel use Sludge Bomb!" Purpsix calls. His Tentacruel along with the other ones begin firing out multiple bombs of sludge that head for Ash's Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras dodge!" Ash calls with Lapras nodding as she begins to easily evade the poison bombs Purpsix speaks.
"Tentacruel use Shadow Rush!" Purpsix calls. As Lapras continues to dodge the Sludge Bombs, Purpsix's Tentacruel covers its body in shadow energy, swims faster and hits Lapras causing damage to her. This also allows a few of the Sludge Bombs to hit her too creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Lapras!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears, we see Lapras groaning in pain but can still battle. Lapras then looks around and sees that the Tentacruel have her surrounded. The mons look at Lapras having serious looks on their faces as Purpsix speaks.
"Now use Sludge Wave!" Purpsix calls. His Tentacruel along with the other ones let out a roar summoning a big wave of poison that heads for Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras use Icicle Crash!" Ash calls. Lapras lets out a roar and summons multiple large icicles from the sky that come crashing down on the Sludge Wave and easily gets rid of it. Once Lapras does that Purpsix speaks.
"Now use Screech!" Purpsix calls. His Tentacruel along with the other ones let out a loud screech that hurts Lapras's ears making her cry out in pain as she can feel her physical defense power decreasing. Ash then speaks.
"Lapras dive in the water!" "Tentacruel use Poison Jab and keep using Screech!" Both trainers' call. When Lapras goes to dive in the water Purpsix's Tentacruel shoots out multiple tentacles covered in poison and hits Lapras causing damage to her. Purpsix's Tentacruel along with the other ones then keep using Screech on Lapras and are hurting her ears more making her cry out in pain as Purpsix speaks.
"Now it's time to end it! Tentacruel use Gunk Shot!" "Lapras look out!" Both trainers' call. Purpsix's Tentacruel along with the other one summon trash cans and get ready to throw them at Lapras. Just when Ash along with his friends are about to go and help Lapras everyone sees multiple Ice Beams appear that freezes some of the Tentacruel. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as they see the herd of Lapras appear. Ash along with his friends have smiles on their faces as Leaf speaks.
"It's the Lapras herd from before!" "They've come to help!" Leaf along with Tracey say making Purpsix angry as he speaks.
"Tentacruel get rid of those Lapras!" Purpsix calls. When the other Tentacruel go to attack the Lapras herd the mons fire out a combined Blizzard that connects with the Tentacruel instantly freezing them. Ash along with his friend's cheer as Purpsix speaks.
"Those other Tentacruel were useless anyway. Tentacruel use Shadow Rush!" Purpsix calls. His Tentacruel covers its body in shadow energy and shoots forward going to hit Ash's Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras counter with Waterfall!" Ash calls. Lapras covers her body in water, swims forward and collides with Tentacruel. The two mons go back and forth for a little while until Tentacruel manages to win the exchange and push Lapras back a couple feet away. Back on the ship Tracey speaks.
"Looks like Tentacruel's still too strong physically for Lapras." Tracey says as Purpsix smiles and speaks.
"Of course, and now it's time to end this! Tentacruel use Gunk Shot!" Purpsix calls. Tentacruel summons a poisoned covered trash can and throws it at Lapras as Ash speaks.
"Lapras use Blizzard!" Ash calls. Lapras lets out a mighty roar summoning a big Blizzard that connects with the trash can as Purpsix speaks.
"If you thought that weak Blizzard was going to help then you thought wrong!" Purpsix says as Ash speaks.
"Lapras don't give up!" Ash says with his Pokémon, Misty, Leaf, Tracey, their Pokémon and the Lapras herd cheering as well. Lapras can hear their cheers and nods as she continues to roar. As Lapras is roaring suddenly, her Blizzard begins to change as it's now turning into ice. Back on the ship Tracey speaks.
"Ash your Lapras just learned Sheer Cold" Tracey says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Good job Lapras now finish it!" Tentacruel dodge!" Both trainers' call. Lapras continues to roar making the Sheer Cold go faster as it freezes the poisoned trash can and also freezes Tentacruel. A couple seconds later Tentacruel appears out of the ice and is knocked out. Purpsix has a surprised look on his face as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Yeah!" Ash along with the others let out a big cheer. The Lapras herd swim over to Lapras and congratulate her making the mon happy. Lapras also gets to reunite with her mom as well. Back on the ship Purpsix returns Tentacruel back to its Pokeball and is about to run away as Leaf speaks.
"Venusaur Vine Whip!" Leaf calls. Venusaur fires out a vine that wraps around Purpsix and restrains him. Purpsix tries to break free but can't as Leaf speaks.
"You're not going anywhere either." Leaf says making Purpsix look at her as he then gives up. After that a few minutes go by with the group tying the 6 brothers in ropes and placing them together. Misty looks at the Tentacruel and speaks.
"You don't have to listen to them anymore Tentacruel you're free to go." Misty says with the mons nodding as they jump back in the water and begin to swim away. Once the Tentacruel leave Tracey sees something in the distance and speaks.
"Look it's officer Jenny!" Tracey says making the others look too as they see the woman heading towards them while riding in a speed boat and there are 3 people inside the boat with her which consists of a male, female, and a small person all having hoods over their faces. When Jenny, along with the 3 people, make it they walk up the ship and reach the group as Jenny speaks.
"You kids really did manage to beat them thank you." Jenny says while bowing to the group with them smiling as Leaf then looks over at the 3 people behind and speaks.
"Who're they?" Leaf asks and just when Jenny is about to speak one of the 3 people speaks first.
"You want to know who we are?" The male asks as the female speaks.
"Then let us tell you" The woman says as the male speaks.
"To prevent the world of evil" The male says as the woman speaks.
"To protect everyone from every nation." The woman says as the male speaks.
"To denounce the evils that attack truth and love" The male says as the woman speaks.
"To expand our reach to the stars above" The woman says as both the male and female begin to speak in unison.
"We of the International Police are here to protect everyone and make everything great!" The two say as they take off their hoods revealing themselves to be Jessie and James as the small person speaks.
"Meowth that's right!" Meowth says as he takes off his disguise too, Wobbuffet then appears from Jessie's Pokeball and speaks.
"Wobbuffet" The mon says as he along with the other 3 do a pose. Jenny, along with the group and their Pokémon, look at them having unamused looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Of course it's them." Ash says as over with the Hexagon Brothers Resix speaks.
"They have style." Resix says with his brothers agreeing with him. After that Jessie, James, and Meowth take the Hexagon Brothers into custody and begin heading back to International Police headquarters. They also take the machine containing the Pokémon that the Hexagon Brothers stole with them too so that they can return them to the wild and reunite them with their trainers. Once they're gone Jenny looks at the group and speaks.
"Thank you again for protecting the Lapras and defeating the Hexagon Brothers." Jenny says with the group nodding as Leaf speaks.
"Speaking of Lapras, Ash where's yours?" Leaf asks as Ash looks to his left and sees his Lapras happily interacting with her friends/family. Ash has a smile on his face then speaks.
"Lapras come over here" Ash says with the mon nodding as she swims over to Ash. Once she gets close to him Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Lapras it's great that you were able to reunite with your family again I'm happy for you." Ash says with Lapras nodding as Ash then gets a sad look on his face but then smiles and speaks.
"And now that you've reunited with them, I think it's time for you to go back with them." Ash says surprising Lapras along with his friends as Leaf speaks.
"Ash, do you know what you're saying?" Leaf asks as Tracey speaks.
"You're actually going to release Lapras?" Tracey asks as Ash looks at them and speaks.
"Yes, as you guys remember that our original goal was to find Lapras's family and give her back to them." Ash responds as Leaf speaks.
"That's true but we've been with Lapras for a long time now." Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"I know and that's why I'm giving Lapras a choice." Ash says as he looks back at Lapras and speaks.
"Lapras you've been a great help to us throughout our journey in the Orange Islands and I thank you for that but it's time for you to go back to your family as I'm sure you miss them. Of course, if you decide to stay, I'd be okay with that too, but the choice is yours." Ash says with Lapras nodding as she looks over at her family. It's true that Lapras has missed being with them and has finally reunited with them again after all of this time. But at the same time, she doesn't want to leave Ash along with the others behind as she loves them too and begins remembering her time with them. Lapras continues to think on what she should do and after thinking for a few seconds she decides to go back with her family. Ash looks at her as he smiles and speaks.
"I understand Lapras and don't worry this won't be the last time we see each other as I'm sure we'll meet again in the future." Ash says with Lapras nodding as she points her head forward, allowing for Ash to pet her one more time. After that Misty along with Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon along with Ash's come over to Lapras and give her one more hug too. Once they're done Lapras swims back to her family, once she reaches them Lapras looks over at Ash along with the others one more time and smiles with the group smiling too. After that Lapras along with her family begin to swim forward with the group saying goodbye to them until they can't see them anymore. Once they're gone Ash has a sad look on his face as Misty walks over to him and speaks.
"Ash are you okay?" Misty asks as Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Yeah, it's painful that I'm releasing Lapras but just like with Butterfree I know that I'll see her again." Ash says with Misty nodding as Leaf speaks.
"Hey so I hate to interrupt this sad moment but now that Lapras is gone how are we going to get to Hamlin Island now? Since Lapras was our main transport." Leaf asks surprising the group as Jenny speaks.
"Oh, I can give you all a ride." Jenny says making the group look at her as Tracey speaks.
"Really?" Tracey asks with Jenny nodding as she speaks.
"Yes, it's only right for me to help you after you all helped me." Jenny responds with the group nodding as they look at her and speak.
"Thank you!" The group say with Jenny nodding as after that they all return their Pokemon back to their Pokeball's (other than Pikachu and Togetic) and get into Jenny's boat as she begins taking them to Hamlin island the chapter comes to an end.

Just like with the anime Ash releases Lapras but don't worry as this won't be the last time, we see Lapras as she will appear in the next arc but not for a while.
Next chapter will come out next week with the group finally arriving back in Pallet Town where they reunite with their friends, family and Pokémon. Next week's chapter will also be the final one for the Orange Islands Arc and I hope you all look forward to it.
