"Well Naruto, you have passed the preliminaries. I will be training you for this month." Said a man with long spiky white hair. He is the legendary Sanin, Jiraiya.
Most think Jiraiya is the weakest of the 3 Sanin, but little do they know that the other 2 Sanin have revealed their aces previously which unintentionally made Jiraiya look weaker. But Jiraiya has something better, the sage arts. Sage arts multiplies his strength by many times, easily making him the strongest of the 3.
"Well pervy sage, what are you going to teach me?" Asked Naruto
"GRR! BRAT, I TOLD YOU TO NOT CALL ME THAT!" Shouted Jiraiya.
"I will stop calling you that if you stop peeping at the hot springs!" Naruto retorted.
Jiraiya just looked away and huffed.
"I will be teaching you your parent's prized jutsus. but before that we should do something important. You will be claiming you inheritance. This is the best time to change your official name to Naruto Namikaze-Uzumaki. Although a lot of your parent's money was swallowed up by the council, most of it such as his assets and vaults are still safe under my name. I have to transfer it all to you with some help from your father's friends." Said Jiraiya, answering his student question.
"Hmhm, I guess you will try to teach me the Hiraishin right? If I know that jutsu, I can defeat most shinobi in the world." Said Naruto.
"Yes brat. With the Hiraishin, you will be strong enough to even go toe to toe with me for a while. You will be strong enough to take on your father's enemies without much issue if you have the Hiraishin under your belt." Replied Jiraiya.
"If you are able to use the chakra chains, it will just be a bonus. you will be able to supress Shukaku if it got to that situation." Continued Jiraiya.
"This is why you prioritised my fuinjutsu for the past 2 years. You wanted me to go through the fuinjutsu notes from the Uzumaki so that I can be prepared to learn more advanced forms of sealing." Said Naruto, guessing why Jiraiya wanted to put more emphasis on training his fuinjutsu in the earlier years.
"Yes, your skills in Fuinjutsu is good as mine now. You can surpass me in this month in that subject, but it is not as important as you training for the invasion." Said Jiraiya, confirming that Naruto was right on his assumption.
Both of them made their way to the Hokage tower.
"Hello gramps! Long time no see!" Shouted Naruto enthusiastically
"We just met yesterday Naruto, but it has been a while since I spoke to you privately." Said the aging Hokage.
"Yea gramps! I am ready to sign everything!" Naruto shouted.
"Well, make sure to read everything before signing my child." Hiruzen said calmly.
"yes" Naruto replied.
Naruto signed all the papers he required and mailed it off to the Daimyo's office to make it fully official. Naruto is now easily one of the richest people alive in the world. Naruto owns a portion of many well known companies both inside and outside Konoha. Naruto was already quite rich after his mission from wave where he was able to over take Gato's many shell companies which held enormous amount of money, now with his parent's inheritance, he is about 4th most richest person in the Fire Nation.
"Well, we should get on with our training. We don't want Naruto to slack off now do we?" Said Jiraiya with some mirth in his voice.
"hahaha, I better not disturb your training now, both of you are dismissed" Said Hiruzen.
Naruto and Jiraiya made their way to their usual training ground, training ground 30.
It was quite far away from the village, so some people go there to enjoy with friends or go there to enjoy nature.
"Well Naruto, we will be going to mount Myoboku to train there. After the Hiraishin, you will be mostly training in how to use the Sage arts with me. Hiraishin is not that hard to master if you are good with sealing. I may be good, but space time is not my expertise unlike you, your father and the 2nd Hokage. You are better suited to the Hiraishin from the way you fight." Said Jiraiya.
Both of them with the help of a toad, were reverse summoned to mount Myoboku.
"Hello Jiraiya boy, Naruto Boy. It's been a while since you both have come here." Said Fukasaku.
"Hi toad gramps!" Greeted Naruto.
"Naruto will be training in how to use the Hiraishin and I will be training in the Sage arts this month pa." Said Jiraiya, getting straight to the point.
"Finally, you are ready to be a true sage! Took you long enough" Said Shima.
Jiraiya gave a sheepish look
"Well, I didn't have enough time to continue my training. Now I feel I have enough time to do it. I have sent many toads to keep tabs on the village. But my main priority is to get Naruto ready for what ever is to come against him." Said Jiraiya.
"Naruto boy, you have started your sage training, but left in the middle as well. Now we believe that you have enough chakra to pull of sage mode." Said Fukasaku.
"Ok pa! But I can only send a few shadow clones for it. I have to concentrate on the Hiraishin more since it will make me strong enough to take on my dad's enemies" Replied Naruto
"Fine," Fukasaku relented.
In the Fire Capital,
"Some one just seized most of the Namikaze assets! most of the land we occupied under our names just went to some brat!" Shouted a merchant.
"This is unacceptable! The third Hokage hid the Namikaze heir for so long, does he not know that it can cause a huge economic disaster?!" Shouted another merchant.
"We need to put this case down against the brat and the Hokage!" Shouted another merchant.
"We can't. The Daimyo has already approved of this. This means that they might have a plan for this. The reason why they hid the brat is mostly because it might cause a war if his status is declared." Replied the man in the head of the table.
"Why would they reveal it now of all time then?" Asked another merchant.
"Well Raido, this means that the Namikaze is strong enough to take on his father's enemies. We must get him to our side as soon as possible. The Daimyo's power is barely more than ours, just tipping him to our favour can make us powerful enough to overthrow him." Said The head of the Merchant guild, Kenji Hiku.
"And how are we supposed to do that? We took his lands for 12 years and ran his assets without his permission for the same length of time!" Said another merchant.
"It's because the Daimyo's wive's family ran a lot of the Namikaze fortunes as well, they were about to swallow up the entire fortune up within a few years and the Namikaze heir would be able to do nothing about it." Said Kenji.
"We are just the better option for him in short" He continued.
"How do you want to ally with him then? We need to offer him compensation and add something to solidify the alliance." Said Raido.
"If he marries my daughter, then my family will be able to overthrow the Daimyo and once again the Hiku family can rule the Fire Nation once again!" Kenji said.
Everyone chorused with agreement.
In the Daimyo's meeting room,
"What is the meaning of this!" Shouted an elderly man.
"I had no choice. Konoha and it's citizens will revolt if they got to know we denied the boy's inheritance. If we had refused, most of the companies owned by the Namikaze might sue with him just to overthrow me. The power balance is very delicate now. My hands are currently tied now in shinobi matters, this is why I am going to betroth Ayumu to the Hyuuga clan. With their support in shinobi affairs, we can have a strong leeway in Konoha." Said the Daimyo, Haruto from the Kaze family.
The old man who he was speaking to was his father in-law, Asahi Musako. The Musako family, who used to help Minato's family fortune wanted to swallow up the entire Namikaze fortune up.
"We need to some how supress the Merchant council. They have too much power this time. Your family and the Hiku family have been going back and forth with regards to being the ruling family. We can't let that happen again." Said Asahi.
Their meeting went on for many hours.
2 weeks later,
In mount Myoboku,
"I finally mastered the Hiraishin! This was quite easy to use!" Shouted Naruto enthusiastically.
"don't get your hops up brat, you were able to master the hiraishin because it is simply your field of expertise, your father's 3 guards took 1 whole year to use the Hiraishin, but that too together since they didn't have enough chakra and the affinity towards it. You in the other hand have all of it. Now that you have mastered the Hiraishin, you will be continuing your sage training since you have more than enough chakra for it." Said Jiraiya,
"Alright!" Shouted Naruto enthusiastically.
In Konoha,
"Most of my assets are transferred to Naruto!" Shouted Ren.
"YES! My assets were transferred to him as well!" Shouted another councilor.
"Looks like the brat change his name to Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki. Now that I think of it, he does look similar to the Yondaime." Said Arata.
"Even if he is his son, he is most likely just a bastard!" Shouted a civilian councilor.
"The
"We should go to court over this! This is injustice! There are multiple villages residing in those lands he took over. And I don't want to pay rent to a brat!" Said another councilor who is visibly angry.
"We have no other choice. If the village gets to know that the brat is Minato's son, they would do a complete 180 and go against us. Hiruzen probably has some kind of proof for this to deter anything we do to manipulate the populous." Said Arata.
Suddenly the doors were opened, and in came Prime Minister. Everyone stood up to show respect to him.
"What brings you here Prime Minister?" Asked Arata.
"I am here to discuss about the chunin exams and about the Namikaze boy," Said the Prime minister.
He assessed the condition of council's reaction and understood what happened.
"Looks like he caused quite the commotion in Konoha as well." Said the prime minister, Haruki Mitsue.
"Yes he did. He owns a large portion of multiple businesses which are very successful in the village. He owns from hotels to entire residential areas. He owns most luxury condos which we are residing in." Replied a councilor.
"Well I can't do much about it. It was under the Namikaze clan and anyone can have it if they have the blood of a Namikaze, more preferred if it were a direct descendent of Minato." Said the prime minister.
"The boy is too young and naive. He was the dead last of the academy and has no knowledge. We can't let him take over so much power!" Said another councilor.
"Even if you press charges on him, it won't help but waste both yours and his time. You won't win the cases since the laws completely support him." Said the Prime minister.
Some just huffed and sat down.
They discussed about various other topics like the Chunin exams and many more.
The meeting lasted for 6 hours.
In Mt. Myoboku,
"OUCH!" a heavily bruised Naruto shouted.
"Well, you did remarkably well. You were able to gather sage chakra at a very rapid pace. Now all you need to do is control it well enough to maintain it for long periods of time." Said Fukasaku.
"It's dinner time!" Shouted Shima
'I want to go back to Konoha and eat Ramen!' thought Naruto.
"Well brat, you have gotten very far with your sage training. You only need to train for a week on it and bam! you will be a proper sage!" Said Jiraiya.
"YES!" Shouted Naruto.
Both of them ate and slept early.
In a secret section of Konoha,
"Lord Danzo, From what we gathered, the Daimyo has signed an agreement with the Hyuuga clan. This is most likely a marriage contract to ensure both the parties have a foot hold in Konoha and the Fire Capital" Said a kneeling ninja with a mask with the kanji for "Root".
"Hmm, this complicates things. Only Naruto has that much power, but now, the Daimyo is close for it such power as well," Said Danzo.
"It seems so," the anbu replied.
"Keep tabs on them still. You are dismissed," Said Danzo.
Danzo made his way to the Hokage tower.
"Hello Hiruzen, please request your anbu to leave," said Danzo.
Hiruzen dismissed the anbu and placed a security seal.
"The Hyuuga are going to be puppets of the Daimyo. They have made a contract a few weeks back. This might be the reason that the Daimyo is arriving here early. We should try making the Hyuuga clan into to the new police force to keep them in check," Said Danzo.
"We can't do that now. Most already know that we kept the Uchiha in a leash through that tactic," replied Hiruzen.
"Then we should stat pouring more investments into businesses outside Konoha. We need ninjas or ex ninjas from the leaf to tun is so they can have some power in the Capital," said Danzo.
"We don't have enough resources for that yet. And only a few individuals have enough resources for it. A few being Jiraiya, Naruto, Kakashi and Gai. All four of them have earned quite the fortune through high ranking missions," Said Hiruzen.
"Yes, I do have a solution for this predicament. We can tell Naruto to make some of Konoha's anbu the puppet head of a few of his companies and make them hold some power in the capital. This can make sure that we have puppets in the Fire Nation's council ," Said Danzo.
"That does sound good," Replied Hiruzen.
"I will tell him about our plans to him after he comes back," Hiruzen continued.
"Fine, I will get going now. See you later Hiruzen." Danzo said while leaving.
Hiruzen waved him good bye.
In Mount Myoboku a day later,
Naruto and Jiraiya yawned in perfect synchronization.
"Well it's time that we start our training brat," Said Jiraiya.
"We have to put of our sage training for a while, you need to learn how to counter the Goken effectively. This will make sure that you win quick and effectively against your opponent Lee. From what I heard, he has about 200 pounds of weight in each limb. You may be faster and stronger, but he will cause quite the damage to you, which will make you less effective during the invasion," Said Jiraiya.
"Yes pervy sage," Naruto replied
Both Naruto and Jiraiya created a few clones and started to train them to counter the Goken.
In Konoha, training ground 7,
"Sasuke, you should know something. It's about the exams," Said Kakashi.
"What is it sensei?" Question Sasuke
"You should give up when I give you a signal. This is vital since there is something big going to happen. You should conserve your strength for a mission I will assign to you. This mission will decide if you will become a chunin or not," answered Kakashi
"Yes sensei, what will be the signal?" Asked Sasuke.
"I will place this seal on your shoulder, when this activates, you will be slightly zapped. If you get zapped, you should immediately come to me for further instructions," Said Kakashi.
"Yes sensei," Answered Sasuke back.
Sasuke has been more subdued since he knows when to ask and when not to. Kakashi's serious attitude deterred him from asking anything.
In mount Myoboku a few hours later,
"I have made you learn these counters against the Goken, I will make you practice this right before the exams starts so you are prepared," Said Jiraiya.
"Now we still have a few hours, I will teach a few water and earth jutsus for defence," Continued Jiraiya.
"Finally you are teaching some good jutsus," Replied Naruto sneakily.
"BRAT! You learnt the Hiraishin and the Rasengan from me, don't act like I taught you nothing!" Replied Jiraiya angrily,
Both of them bickered and started to train after a few minutes.
In the Hyuuga clan compound,
Hinata was sparing against her father,
"You are doing quite well. You need to increase your speed to get to 128 palms. If you get to that point, then you will have mastered the technique to an adequate level," Said Hiashi.
"We will get a small rest and continue once more," He continued.
"Yes father," Hinata replied with no emotion.
Hiroshi looked at his granddaughter with pride, because he thinks he molded her into what he wanted her to be, a perfect puppet to control Hiashi's actions.
"The Daimyo has sent word, he will be coming in a few days to meet us." Said Hiroshi.
"I have heard father," replied Hiashi
Hibachi just scoffed after seeing them. He continued
Ever since Hizashi's death, the side branch have grown their hatred towards the main branch, especially Hibachi, Hiashi's uncle. Hibachi took care of Hizashi like he was his own son since Hiroshi looked down on Hizashi for being born just a minute after Hiashi. Hiashi didn't like that the main branch house looked down at Hizashi, but with Hibachi manipulating Hizashi, but after Hizashi's death, he targeted Neji and poisoned his mind and made him hate the main branch house.
"We have to be ready with our demands, the daimyo's power can bring immense power and wealth to our clan," Said Hiroshi.
In training ground 9,
"MY YOUTHFUL STUDENTS! AS A WARM DOWN FOR TONIGHT, I WANT YOU TO RUN 20 ROUNDS AROUND THE VILLAGE AND 100 SETS OF EACH STRETCHING I THOUGHT YOU!" Shouted Gai.
"YES SENSEI! I WILL NEVER LET MY FLAME OF YOUTH GET EXTINGUISHED! I WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND BECOME A CHUNIN, IF NOT I WILL RUN 500 ROUNDS AROUND THE VILLAGE!" Shouted LEE.
Neji just scoffed.
Tenten wasn't amused by this scene anymore since she has seen it many times now.
"Before we start our warm up, we will discuss the information we have on your opponents," Said Gai, stopping Neji and Lee from starting their warm down.
"Well first, since Lee's match is first we will talk about his match up Naruto," Said Gai.
"I heard he was the dead last," Said Tenten with a smirk.
"Neji, what were his chakra levels?" Asked Gai,
"He has about as much as chakra as the Hokage," Said Neji, who was impressed at someone having that much chakra at the age of 13.
"WHAT? How is that possible?" Questioned Tenten.
"I observed that when Lee fought the Kumo ninja during the prelims, he was able to keep track of lee's movements without much difficulty. This means Naruto might be as fast as you, Lee." Said Gai.
"It still doesn't matter. Fate has decided that he will loose in the first round," Exclaimed Neji.
Gai just frowned at Neji's attitude.
"As for Neji's opponent being Hinata, it won't be an easy match from what I observed. You are still superior to her, but if she does a number on you, you won't be able to fight well in the next round, this means we have to make you as fast as possible so you won't be hit easily," Said Gai.
"Yes, you need learn how to dodge fast strikes and kunai, I will help you out with it," Said Tenten.
"As for the one I am worried the most, the red headed Suna ninja. When 3 were healing from your previous, he mercilessly killed a Konoha ninja without even batting an eye. We didn't think he would go for the kill, but by the time we knew what he was doing, it was quite late." Said Gai, scaring Tenten.
"If Lee advances to the next round, he would most likely have to fight that ninja. That red head is you call a jinchuriki. He posses one of the 9 tailed beasts. Lee if you face him, it's best if you forfeit. You simply can't defeat him with Taijutsu. Their regeneration ability and the massive amount of chakra can't be taken lightly. If he goes full Biju mode, only a few in the village can defeat him, and I am unfortunately not one of them." Said Gai with a serious attitude. He isn't spouting about Youth for this very reason. Gai could defeat Gaara, but if the one tails is released, Gai can't do anything, since it would just reform a few seconds after his attacks, even in Gai is in the 8th gate.
"But sensei! It's not youthful to give up!" Lee tried to resist, but with a stern look from Gai, he just quieted down.
after 1 week,
"Well brat, you have surpassed me in terms of being a sage..." Said Jiraiya with a shocked expression.
Naruto has maintained the perfect sage mode for 3 minutes. This made Naruto strong enough to go toe to toe with Jiraiya's imperfect sage mode.
"Well, let's go back to Konoha, Danzo wishes to train you for a few days, but before that we will have to talk with sensei," Said Jiraiya.
"Finally! I can have some ramen after such a long time!" Exclaimed Naruto.
"Yea yea, now let's get back," Said Jiraiya.
Both of them were summoned back to Konoha after send the signal to the toad which was responsible for summoning them.
"Ahhh I am finally back here!" shouted Naruto excitedly.
"Calm down brat, we will get something to eat and go to Sensei's office. I have sent a toad to inform us about our return," Said Jiraiya.
Both of them made their way to Ichiraku's to have some ramen.
"Finally, I miss you soo much!" Shouted Naruto whilst gulfing down ramen by the bowls.
"Brat chill out. it's time to meet sensei so stop eating." said Jiraiya
"Keep this on my tab," He told to Teuchi.
"Come back soon Naruto!" Teuchi yelled.
Naruto and Jiraiya quickly made their way to the Hokage's office.
"Yo old man!" Said Naruto with excitement.
"Hello Naruto-kun," Said Hiruzen.
"Oh, hello grampa Danzo!" Greeted Naruto.
"Good afternoon Naruto," Danzo greeted back.
"Well, let's get our meeting started with," Hiruzen said after sealing the room with security seals.
"What do you want to talk about?" Asked Naruto curiously.
"Well, we found out that your class mate, Hinata is getting betrothed to the Daimyo's 2nd son," Stated Hiruzen.
"Ah, poor fellow. She was a stick in the mud anyways, why does it concern us?" Asked Naruto
"Well it concerns us because the Hyuuga clan doesn't need to be always submissive to us for funding. Not to mention they will have power in the capital which can endanger Konoha's position in the Fire Nation. And with a major clan having backing from the Daimyo, they will probably help with the Daimyo's goals in shinobi matters," Said Danzo.
"That's... somewhat bad I guess?" Said Naruto.
"Well brat, this means Konoha's demands won't be easily met. Nothing short of another full scale war would make the Fire capital give us proper funding since they have loyal powerful ninjas under their control," Jiraiya told.
"Oh I get it. I am here because my dad's assets around the Fire Nation can help Konoha have leeway in the Capital!" Guessed Naruto.
"That's right my boy. I know a few of your anbu under you have experience in the financial system since they had to work as accountants in big companies for infiltration. They can help you run your father's companies and make their way to be part of the council in the capital," Said Hiruzen.
"This is probably the closest for a ninja to challenge the power held by the Daimyo while not being a Kage," Stated Danzo.
"Hmm, I will inform this to my anbu squad. I will assign this mission to them right after the invasion," Said Naruto.
"That's fine by me Naruto," Said Hiruzen.
"So, how strong are you Naruto?" Asked Hiruzen.
"If I and Jiraiya sensei went on a full scale battle, he would win because of his experience, but I am as strong as him at my current level." Stated Naruto.
Both Danzo and Hiruzen were shocked. A 12 year old boy is strong as Jiraya was unbelievable. Both knew that Jiraya could defeat him if they went against eachother with full force since Jiraiya's sage mode will make it very strong.
"How come!" Asked a shocked Hiruzen.
"Well, I managed to master both the Hiraishin and sage mode. I can teleport at least a few hundred times in a row and use sage mode for 3 minutes." Answered Naruto.
"How did you master sage jutsu that quickly?" Asked Danzo.
"I used shadow clones. Although I wasn't able to use much since the nature of the training is vastly different, but just by having a lot of chakra can let one use it very effectively." Stated Naruto.
"Well this only helps our case in revealing your heritage," stated Danzo.
"I heard you wanted to teach me gramps," said Naruto looking at Danzo.
"Ah yes, I will be teaching you in a few wind exercises and a bit on politics. I want you to be ready when you take your father's place in the council." Said Danzo.
"yes gramps," Naruto said.
Hiruzen released the seals and dismissed them.
Naruto and Danzo left on their way to the headquarters of Root for Naruto's training.
"I need you to start by making 30 clones for studying the detailed history of Konoha and the Fire Nation that Root has been able to get, another 30 for reading in sealing arts related to bijuu suppression and lastly 40 clones in wind jutsu training. Make them as strong as possible so that they can last for a few days," Said Danzo.
"What will I be doing?" Asked Naruto.
"You will have to up your weight by twice and fight against 5 anbu black ops in the forest of death, But you will be restricted to only taijutsu whilst they can only use the basic 3 jutsus and kenjutsu," said Danzo.
"WHAT! I won't be able to survive!" Said Naruto.
"You can draw upon the 9 tails chakra, but only enough to heal your injuries and to reconstruct you bone and muscle tissues to make them adapted to your new speed," Said Danzo.
"Fine," Naruto replied.
Naruto had to fight of the 5 root anbu for 6 hours straight where he was severely bruised and scratched. The root operatives where given instruction to aim for non vital areas since they wanted a properly functioning Naruto during the Chunin exams.
"Ugh, they did quite the number on me," grumbled Naruto.
"Lord Naruto, please don't move. We are healing your wounds. I expect that you can be ready by tomorrow morning for your next session," Said the Root doctor.
Naruto was given time to rest until 10 AM tomorrow, where he just slept for 12 hours straight.
After that he was just good as new, as if he didn't even receive a scratch.
Konoha, training ground 17.
"Haruno san, you should now try decreasing your hand signs to 4 this time. It can save you a lot of time in midst of the battle." Said Ebisu.
"Yes," huffed out Sakura.
"Your opponent uses sound based attacks, your somewhat strong sensory ability can detect your opponent molding his chakra which you can use to create a preemptive earth wall which can help you save a lot of pain. You should also learn how to close of your ears' sensory output which can mostly nullify your opponent's jutsu," Said Ebisu.
"You have quite the talent for chakra control, after the exams you should consider learning medical jutsu, genjutsu or both," he continued
"Yes sensei," Sakura huffed out.
She found him helpful, but his snarky remarks does get her a bit riled up.
'I wonder how both of them are doing' She wondered.
'No matter, I will catch up to both of them and not stay behind them during every fight' she thought to herself with resolve.
'She is about low chunin level if I had to say so, but she is mainly carried by her chakra control. She only has about high genin reserves and low chunin level of taijutsu. She most likely won't win, but if she shows enough, she might get promoted.' thought Ebisu.
In training ground 7,
"Well, your limit is about 4 Chidori. I guess now we will start to practice and get you on par in terms of speed, we only got a week so this is the best we can do," Said Kakashi lazily.
"Yes sensei," Sasuke Huffed out.
'He has about as much chakra as an elite chunin does. I won't be surprised if he becomes a chunin by the end of the exams' thought Kakashi.

I made a lot of changes, for the Hyuuga clan, Hinata never meets Naruto and she gets a lot colder after realising no one will help her but herself. But she does care about Hanabi, her younger sister. She wants to protect her from the elders.
Naruto get trained from the age of 3 after Danzo convinced Hiruzen to let him train Naruto, but Hiruzen also trained him making sure Naruto won't be Danzo's puppet. Naruto changed Danzo's heart slowly but surely.
The Uchiha clan was slaughtered, but a few of the kids survived, with Sasuke being the eldest.
Naruto helped Sasuke to be stronger and change his path of hatred like he did in the beginning, the only reason why canon Naruto failed was because Orochimaru played as a factor in ther relation.
Sakura is not as useless as canon since she changed her views after the Land of Waves mission.
I also added many political aspects to the story to make it more interesting to me and a few other who enjoy these kinds of story.
