Chapter 30: Dino Powers

7750 BC - Morphing Grid

"The Sporix have landed on Earth and the Knights of Rafkon have followed" the Blue Emissary said to the Morphing Masters

"We will send the Knights aid" the Green Morphing Master said "we have been working on a new set of Powers"

"But the Sporix were created by the Rafkonians" the Red Emissary said "let them solve their own problem"

"They were not able to stop the Sporix from destroying Rafkon" the Green Morphing Master said "should we let Earth fall because of an another planet's foolishness?"

"The Emissaries do have a point" the Red Morphing Master said "we must be careful in using our Powers and giving such Power to those that have already proved that they can't use it"

"But that was primarily Rafkon's leaders that were foolish enough to create the Sporix, not the Knights" the Green Morphing Master countered

"Zayto knew and went along with it" the Red Emissary said

"We should also take into account that Zordon's tube is on Earth and not far from the landing site of the Sporix" the Blue Emissary said "I was told it was by luck that the Edenoites and Alpha 2 were able to find him as quickly as they did. If the Command Center is lost we may not find him again"

"That… is true" the Red Morphing Master said "we will create a new set of Powers for the Knights of Rafkon, to… protect Zordon if for no other reason"

"Would you like us to deliver the Powers?" the Yellow Emissary asked

"No" the Red Morphing Master said "this time, that is something we must do ourselves"

North America - Earth - Land Without Magic

The Knights of Rafkon run as a Sporix grows giant. All of a sudden, a portal directly from the Morphing Grid appears and the Morphing Masters step out. The Morphing Master send a blast of their staffs at each of the Knights of Rafkon, turning them into Power Rangers.

"You are the Dino Fury Power Rangers" the Red Morphing Master said "you must defend the Earth against these evil Sporix"

"But how?" the Red Ranger asked "these Sporix beasts are gigantic?"

"Then we will make you mighty weapons" the Red Morphing Master said, and the Morphing Masters forge Zords for them

7710 BC - Land of Dinosaurs

A villain is tired of losing to the Order of Meledon and their Rangers. He needs something to counter them… how about a Ranger of his own. He doesn't know how to build a Morpher, but he does know that their needs to be something for the Morphing Grid to connect to… and he can create that, along with a couple of giant robots, he can't make them Zords yet, but he can at least start somewhere. As he learns more from the Rangers, perhaps one day he will be able to create a proper Morpher and Zords… but for now he will do what he can

And so Ivan Ooze poors all of his energy into creating the Dark Energem and two Ectomorphicon Titans

Morphing Grid

"Ivan Ooze has created something he's referring to as the Dark Energem" the Blue Emissary said "he doesn't seem to know how to create a Morpher, but his Dark Energem does seem to have a connection to the Morphing Grid"

"That… is not good" the Gold Morphing Master said

"We must create good Energems to counter it" the Green Morphing Master said

"Agreed" the Red Morphing Master said and they forge the Energems "Emissaries, please give these to someone to distribute them when the time comes" and all of a sudden a portal opens and the Pink Emissary steps out

"I know exactly who can keep them for us" the Pink Emissary said

7705 BC - North America - Earth - Land Without Magic

The Dino Fury Rangers in the Primal Ultrazord battle the last Sporix Beast

"Primal Extreme Blast!" the Red Ranger said and the Primal Ultrazord sends several blasts of energy at the Sporix Beast, returning it to its Sporix form. However, Power surges through the cockpit, harming the Rangers

"The formation is too unstable" the Gold Ranger said

"Eject!" the Red Ranger said and the Red and Gold Rangers eject, but the other Rangers don't make it out in time. The Primal Ultrazord falls apart back into its individual Zords.

Later, the Red and Gold Rangers, named Zayto and Aiyon mourn their fallen friends

"I will take the last Sporix with me to the base under Dino Henge and put it with the others" Zayto said "I will take the others' Morphers and seal myself, our Powers, and myself in the base. I will then put myself in hypostasis until a time that I'm needed again… which will hopefully never come. Will you join me?"

"No" Aiyon said "if all of our Powers and the Sporix are in one place, things will go very wrong, very quickly, if you're discovered by the wrong people, could you imagine the damage someone could do with the might of the Sporix and our Powers? I will place myself under hypostasis elsewhere. Until next time, old friend"

"Until next time" Zayto said
