Yes, I am not dead. Lots has happened in the years since I last posted. I've changed as a person since then, but I never forgot about this story or about you all. So, I come to you all with very good news! I have in fact finished this story, and several others that take place in this universe. That being said, however, I believe that the best thing for me to do is to post this story anew and finish it that way.
