A Phantom's Love and Courage

Chapter 31: Two Heroines, One Hero: A Fateful Decision

After her fun date with Danny, Minako had returned home.

"That went better than I imagined..."She thought, smiling as she recalled her date with Danny.

The blonde girl briefly greeted her parents after she walked inside and soon headed to her bedroom. Once in there, the Sailor guardian of love sighed as she sat down.

"On a scale of one to ten, I'd give that date a solid 9. If we had kissed, it would have been a perfect ten..."Minako thought, still somewhat disappointed but understanding why Danny wasn't comfortable with that yet.

Even so, she plopped onto her bed, looking up at the ceiling.

"I wonder how he felt about the whole date. I wonder how he felt about me..."She thought, feeling a little insecure right now.

That's when she heard someone clear their throat. A certain cat of hers, who was still in a cage she put him in earlier, who looked impatient and annoyed right now.

"Minako? Is that you? Let me out of here already, I think that I've been in here long enough!..."Artemis said, tired of being in the cage since Chibi-Usa dumped him here earlier before she went back home.

Minako said nothing as she freed him from the cage, while she had a blank look on her face. Artemis wanted to say something but noticed her expression and felt a little concerned for her.

"Minako? What's the matter? I thought you'd be on Cloud 9 after finally dating him?..." Artemis questioned with an eyebrow raised.

"I am... it's just...I'm kind of unsure on how he felt..." Minako answered with a nervous look on her face.

"What'd you do? Make him rice porridge?..." Artemis asked with a small laugh, as the guardian of love sent him an annoyed look.

"Hardy har har...And no. It's more like...I'm worried he might not like me as much I like him..."Minako said, admitting the cause of her insecurity.

"You kissed him without consent, are you surprised?..." Artemis asked, while the blonde girl felt a little embarrassed at being reminded that.

"I guess not. What if he decides he's too uncomfortable to be around me?..." Minako said glumly before falling facedown to her bed.

Artemis, despite his snark, approached her and planted a paw on her shoulder sympathetically.

"He didn't run away or anything, did he?..." He asked and his friend shook her head.

"No. We got to talk. I learned a lot about him, like his hobby of learning almost everything about alien visitation records in the books. He even somehow knows about what the people of Venus look like..." Minako says, as she raised her head and smiled a bit.

"Really?..." Artemis asked, and his friend nodded.

"Yeah. It's actually kind of cute, to be honest..."Minako admitted, with sincere fondness.

"Well, there you go. He wouldn't share anything like that if he wasn't remotely interested in you. And I think that the fact that he chose to spend the whole day with you without leaving early is a good sign..." Artemis said.

"Yeah..." Minako said as she stood back up and proudly smiled at the ceiling.

"He was truly charmed by Minako, the Goddess of Love! I have nothing to be worried about!..." She said in a very confident voice, while her cat rolled his eyes and sighed.

"And...she's back..." Artemis muttered with a bittersweet smile but was glad that Minako was feeling a little better now.

However, the blonde girl's mind recalled Danny and the look he sent Makoto the other day and her smile dropped slightly.

"I have nothing to worry about...right?..." She thought, feeling unsure again.

Her mind still not clear, she decided she wanted to get some air.

"Can I come with you? I can't stand being stuck here..." Artemis requested but was ignored.

The blonde girl soon made some excuse to her parents and then stepped out of her house, since she had a lot to think about right now.

A little later

Makoto had left Usagi's house a while back and was trying to keep herself busy.

She was currently walking through the park and fed some ducks from a nearby lake. She smiled as she watched the ducklings following their mother before she noticed that it was already passed sunset.

"It's getting late. I wonder if Danny is still with Minako right now..." Makoto thought, feeling a little conflicted right now.

She really wanted to be mature and respectful about this, but a part of her can't help but feel a little insecure and jealous right now.

"Why is it that the first time I find a guy who actually likes me and doesn't mind my strength, I've got to compete with my best friend over him? This is so typical..."She thought as she let out a frustrated sigh.

The sailor guardian of love and courage continued to walk through the park to get her mind off it. She noticed that it was late and was about to head home. However, she ended up running into a familiar face on her way out.

"Minako-chan?..."Makoto said, surprised to see her.

"Hi, Mako-chan. Why are you here?..."Minako asked, sounding a little flustered to be around her right now.

"Oh...just wanted to take a walk and clear my head..."Makoto said, not lying.

"Same..."Minako said.

The two girls felt a little awkward around each other right now, given the circumstances and whom they both had feelings for. It took a few seconds before one of them spoke.

"So, I can assume you just had your date with Danny-kun?..."Makoto asked, despite the awkwardness.

Minako nodded.

"Yes, I did. It was really fun..."She said, being sincere.

"I see..."Makoto said, not sure what else to say now given the fact that they technically were rivals right now over a guy of all things.

"Yeah..." Minako said with a nervous smile.

"So... can we talk?..." Makoto asked.

"Sure..." Minako responded.

The two girls decided to go sit on a nearby bench and talk about what they went through.

"So, how was your date?..."Makoto asked, trying to avoid looking jealous.

"We went to the amusement park, did karaoke, and grabbed a bite together. And we got attacked by a ghost and a yokai, but we managed to defeat both...and we saw how compatible we were with fighting bad guys..." Minako said, smiling as she said this.

"I see. I'm...glad you guys had a good time..." Makoto said, trying not to be territorial.

"And...how was your date? Did you two also have fun?..."Minako asked, since she figured it was only fair.

"It was wonderful. We talked about his school life, ran into a ghost enemy of his too, and we worked well together. He admires my strength..."Makoto said, smiling sincerely as she recalled those events.

Minako saw that smile and sighed.

"I see. I can definitely see Danny doing that. I bet if I lifted weights more, he'd fawn that hard over me too..."She said, earning a laugh from Makoto.

The two girls continued to talk about more details of their dates and both Minako and Makoto were having fun while they continued talking, even if it was about the boy that they have both taken a fancy to.

"Did you know Danny-kun wants to become an astronaut and he is really good at bowling?..." Makoto asked, and her friend nodded.

"Did you know he's kind of a nerd for aliens and knows a lot about a few alleged encounters with them?..." Minako asked.

"That so?..." Makoto asked. "I don't reca-..."She said, but was cut off by Minako was the blonde girl remembered something.

"He got curious and asked if we looked like this in our past lives. Then he said it's not really something he shared with most people. I guess...he just brought it up because...something about aliens from Venus look like humans. Or something..." Minako said, interrupting her.

"Huh...you learn something new about a person every day..." Makoto said.

"Yeah..." Minako said.

For a moment, there was peace, but they knew it would only be temporary as there was still a certain elephant in the room. Then Makoto spoke again, looking frustrated as they knew they can't ignore it forever.

"This is a lot harder than I thought it would be..."Makoto said, and Minako knew what she meant.

"Yeah, on paper it sounded like a good idea but...now that we had our dates...all we can do is wait and... see who he likes more..." Minako said, scratching the side of her head.

The two of them really liked Danny and the more time they spent with him, the more they hoped he picked them over the other. Even so, the dates are over now and...now they had to wait for Danny to make his choice now.

"All we can do is wait..." Makoto said, before they both sighed in frustration.

"Waiting stinks..."The blonde girl mumbled, hating this part.

Her friend sent her a serious look. It was too late to have second thoughts about this arrangement and honestly, they both were nervous about what the result would be because regardless of what Danny's choice will be, one of them will be upset by it. Which is something both girls were afraid of.

"Okay... what do we do about this?..." Makoto thought, worried for her friend right now.

Despite technically being rivals over a guy right now, they were still friends and overall, they didn't want their friendship and teamwork to the affected by this, regardless of what Danny's choice would end up being. The tallest of the girls, having an earnest look on her face, turned to who she viewed as one of her closest friends and spoke in a firm yet gentle voice.

"Minako-chan, let's make a promise..." Makoto said, getting her attention.

"What's that?..." Minako asked, curious.

"No matter who Danny-kun picks, we won't let it affect our friendship. It'll seriously mess up our teamwork if we do and he wouldn't want that either. Not to mention that no matter what, I still want to be friends with you...even if Danny chooses you over me or if it's the other way around..." Makoto said, with a sincere look on her face.

"That's pretty wise of you...and I feel the same way. I'd never want our friendship to be affected all over a guy like that..." Minako said, as she raised a pinky finger while her friend did the same and preformed a pinky promise.

"So, no matter what, we promise that whoever Danny chooses, we'll still be friends, and we will respect his choice..." Makoto said, and her friend nodded.

"Agreed. Even if Danny doesn't want to be my boyfriend, he'd still make a great ally for us and you are a very precious friend to me, Makoto-chan. Love shouldn't hurt friendship..."Minako said in a sincere way.

"That's true..."Makoto said, happy that they were on the same page.

"Yeah. After all, the sea has so many fish in it and like that saying goes...a friend is as sweat for your heart as oil and perfume..." Minako said, attempting to sound wise, but doesn't realize how random she seemed to be, even by her standards.

"...I'm 98% sure that's not how either saying goes...but sure..." Makoto gave a bemused smile.

The two girls then shared a quick hug, both feeling a weight being lifted from their shoulders before they let go and smiled at each other.

"And let's also not brag about it either and avoid provoking each other like Rei-chan does with Usagi-chan..." Minako adds, knowing how bad those fights between them tend to get.

"Yeah...let's be thankful Ami-chan avoids the squabbling we're almost always a part of..." Makoto said with a small laugh.

The two girls began to laugh together, feeling at least most of the tension and worry they felt leave. While they did want Danny to choose one of them, they also didn't want to risk anything affecting their friendship and teamwork.

Thankfully, it seems they no longer had to worry about that now.

"It is getting late. We should probably head back home soon..." Makoto commented.

"Wanna grab a snack before we do? I saw a convenience store near here and I can go for a rice ball to be honest..." Minako suggested.

"Sure. I wouldn't mind some to be honest..." Makoto said, happy to see that there were no hard feelings between them anymore.

The two girls then left the park together, talking as they went to get their snacks and then head for home, unaware that a certain time master was still watching them.

With Clockwork

The time master and his guest saw the interaction between the two girls.

One of them had what could be described as a proud look on their face while the other seemed impressed by the young girl's sincerity and dedication towards their friendship, knowing they meant every word they said.

"Way to go, you two..."A female voice said, sounding proud of them.

"They may be young, but those two have more wisdom and selflessness that some people twice their ages..."Clockwork said, smiling.

"Yeah. Many people tend to underestimate them but both Jupiter and Venus have good hearts and know that no matter what, they will always make the right choice..."His guest said, smiling as she spoke of the sailor guardians.

She knew that no matter what, all of the sailor guardians will always be there for each other for the best and worst of time, just like sisters.

The ghostly time master nodded in agreement, yet still had that emotionless expression on his face that made it so hard to tell what he was thinking or even feeling. That was until he smiled slightly before he spoke again.

"Glad you think that, now neither of these Juliets will suffer tragedy..." Clockwork said.

"Speaking of which, let's see how our little Romeo is doing..."The female said, and Clockwork nodded.

Clockwork pressed a button on his staff and soon the images changed to show Danny, who had just finished his date and returned to his hideout.

With Danny

Danny had just returned to his temporary residence, making sure not to be caught by anyone. Once he was sure he was safe, he sat down on the bed and let out a sigh.

"Well, that was it..."He said as he still could not believe it was over.

He did it.

He actually did it.

He had gone a date with BOTH Makoto Kino and Minako Aino.

He got to go out on a date with not one, but TWO totally amazing girls who also happened to be totally amazing superheroes too. He was still marveling over it to be honest.

"Wow. I still can't believe it…"Danny mused as he sat on the bed, still unable to believe it.

This week in Japan was arguable one of the craziest in his life, and that's a lot given that he fights ghosts practically every day. It was also one of the best times of his life too.

He managed to help protect Juban, team up with amazing heroes and make new friends...and grew close to two girls who sincerely like him and who don't seem to think he's a dork. It was like some insane story that actually favored his chances with girls normally out of his league. If he hadn't just lived through all of it, even he wouldn't believe it, yet he had lived through it, and it was still felt like a dream to him.

"First time in my life, I actually got noticed by more than one girl who I actually like, and it's when I'm far away from home. Typical..."He thought with an ironic chuckle, still finding this whole experience surreal but in a good way.

The ghost boy was now looking at the ceiling, almost feeling lost and unsure what to do now.

"Now what?..."He asked himself, wondering what to do now.

He did know what he had to do now. After the dates, he was supposed to figure out who he liked more and then choose between Makoto and Minako and then...date one of them.

Danny began to get serious as he tried to sum up everything that's happened so far. That he was sent to Japan by Clockwork to apparently stop some crazy locci monsters and it somehow ended in an anticlimactic fashion. All while he was in the middle of a love triangle with two girls who were both out of his league. Girls who, under different circumstances, he would have easily fallen for if he had just known one or the other at a slower pace, and he knew that.

The ghost boy then pressed his hands into his forehead, unable to decide who to pick.

When he first arrived at Japan, he never would have imagined that he would be in a situation like this. That he, Danny Fenton, one of the least popular guys at Casper High and son of local ghost hunters, would be in a situation where he literally had to choose between two amazing girls who wanted to be his girlfriend.

Two incredible girls who are beautiful, smart, kind, fun, funny, strong, brave and both are amazing superheroes too.

Sure, Minako and Makoto had their different traits and their own flaws, but they were still amazing in their own ways and Danny sincerely became fond of the both of them...and they both wanted to date him, and Danny has come to care for each of them in his own way.

He likes them both a lot, but how was he going to choose between them?

"So...who am I going to choose?..." He asked himself, suddenly finding that question harder to answer than it would have been days ago.

A few days ago, he was sure that he had a crush on Makoto, and he really wanted to become closer to her, but Minako is really into him, and he knew she was a good girl, and he honestly thought she could be good girlfriend material if she was given a chance.

"Makoto or Minako?..."Danny considered again as he thought about them.

Two unique and amazing young women who wanted to date him...but who does he want?

Danny tried to think about both girls and what he likes about them and if he could be happy with them if they became a steady couple or something.

He tried to compare both girls and see who he had the best chemistry with. And he had been surprised to see that he got along well with both of them and sincerely admired the two of them, which made making a choice between them even harder.

"Okay..." Danny held up his right hand. "Option one... Makoto Kino, aka Sailor Jupiter. She's tall, brave, tough, loving, can cook, and clearly likes me..." He held up his left hand. "Option two... Minako Aino, aka Sailor Venus. She's energetic, passionate, dedicated, affectionate, can sing and clearly likes me... And they both look good in their sailor uniforms too..."

After a good two seconds, his hands dropped.

"I am so not doing a good job at this..."He thought as he tried to consider his options.

Right now, he tried to think of possible ways to make this decision easier for him.

"Maybe I can call Usagi and her friends...maybe see what they think..."Danny considered as he pulled out his phone.

Only to stop once he realized what he was doing and knew he didn't even know what to ask them.

"And what the heck am I supposed to ask them? If I should choose Minako or Makoto? I'd basically be asking them to pick one friend over the other. That's not fair..." Danny thought, discarding that idea all together since he knew he can't put them in a situation like that as it wouldn't be fair to them, or Makoto and Minako.

He placed his phone down and sighed. He had to think of a gentle way to let down the girl he didn't choose in a soft enough way that there will be no bad blood between anyone, even after he does make his choice. However, he slapped both sides of his head to keep himself from losing focus.

"Come on Fenton, stop procrastinating. You just...got to pick one of those two amazing girls to devote yourself into a romantic relationship with. It's not like you're saving the world here..."He thought, knowing he can't keep messing around like this.

He laid down with his hands behind his head.

One thing is that regardless of who he chooses, he might be looking at a long distant relationship, but he didn't want to worry about that right now. Right now, he tried to be honest with himself and figure out who he wanted to risk a long-distance relationship with to begin with.

He already talked about all the pros, maybe he should consider something else.

"Okay... cons. Umm... Minako is clingy and Makoto is a bit too territorial?..." He considered in his mind, before rolling his eyes as he recalled the times, they both had played tug a war with him in the middle.

"Suddenly, I miss when girls thought I was invisible..."He thought, recalling how his arms ached after their last "game".

Even so, those so-called "cons" weren't really a deal-breaker for him since he did already talk with them about it. Minako eased up a bit and he knew that Makoto didn't mean any harm and both enjoyed his presence. Pretty soon those cons he was thinking over became cute little quirks in his mind about the two amazing girls that he still had trouble choosing between.

"Geez. This isn't as easy as I thought it be. And why did I ever think it would be easy?..."The ghost boy thought, before yawning and feeling tired right now but tried to focus.

He got off the bed and pondered.

"Okay...maybe if I thought back to what happened on or even before the date...that'd help me decide who I like more?..." He thought, as he tried to think about those times.

His mind went to a certain female friend/admirer that he got to know quite well since he first showed up to Japan.

Makoto Kino, AKA Sailor Jupiter.

Makoto was the first girl he met when he showed up in Japan and she even defended him against all those thugs and treated him with so much kindness and didn't judge him or ignore him like most girls back home. He also got to know her better as a person and found they had some things in common and he really liked her as a person. He also really admired how strong and brave she is as Sailor Jupiter. She's really beautiful, brave and kind-hearted and there were a lot of things about her that he really admires, and he really wanted to get to know her better. He still does.

"Makoto really is an amazing girl..."Danny thought, smiling as he thought about her before sighing.

Then his mind went on his other female friend/admirer who he also got to know better these last couple of days.

Minako Aino, AKA Sailor Venus.

He met Minako after Makoto and while she was a bit bold and he often felt a bit overwhelmed by her flirting, she is beautiful too, even prettier than Paulina and much kinder to boot. He knew that he was fond of her. She might be excitable and can say the wrong sayings at time, but that was just a quirk he found kind of charming to be honest. She also tends to be a bit too bold at times, but she did understand when he voiced what he felt and afterwards, he found himself more relaxed around her. She was very kind and is also a brave hero when she is Sailor Venus too. She is a very unique and fascinating person, and it was pretty hard not to become fond of her. He was sure he might become even more fond of her if they got to know each other better, and not just because of hormones.

But the question remains, does he like her more than Makoto or not as much? Or does he like Makoto more than Minako?

"Minako...Makoto..." Danny thought with a sigh, as he found it even harder to make a decision right now.

"I can't just not decide. I can't string them a long either. They don't deserve that, and I don't want to be that kind of guy. I got to choose..."He thought, feeling frustrated as he found this harder than he expected.

Moments like this were the worst. At least with high school and ghosts, there was some linear direction.

"I almost wish Tucker or even dad was here...anyone...so I can get some advice. I'd even deal with dad being embarrassing about this or him babbling on about ghosts if it means having a better idea...on second thought, maybe not. Knowing him, he'd probably somehow think they're ghosts because of how rare it is for girls to like me..." He thought to himself, taking back that last part.

He did not want to mix love with ectoplasm. How that would be done was scarier than anything right now. Danny signed, stating at the ceiling.

"I guess I should…follow my heart? I mean, what's the worst that can happen?…"He wondered, having seen many romance films that encouraged that.

For once, the half ghost boy felt as though he did not jinx the universe or enticed it to sucker punch him. That did nothing to soothe his dilemma, but it did grant him some piece of mind.

The decision echoed in Danny's mind for what felt like hours. He did not know when, but soon he yawned and felt really tired again, falling asleep in minutes.

"I...I guess...I can...decide...t-tomorrow..." Danny said as he found himself falling asleep, the last few days finally caught up to him.

And unknown to him, he was about to have a dream that would, no doubt, be helpful.

In Danny's Dream

Danny was dressed in a tuxedo and had a large bouquet of roses in his hands as he spotted a candlelit table on a scenic cliff side that had a beautiful view of the ocean.

The ghost boy smiled as he saw a beautiful girl waiting for him. Danny smiled and a visible blush on his face as he felt his heart skip a beat as he saw the girl whom he hoped will return his feelings.

Danny smiled as he walked over there, holding the bouquet and making sure the flowers were alright, as well as his breath. Once he was sure, he went to go join the girl whom he would be on a date with today.

The ghost boy was now in front of the lovely sailor guardian whom he would be out with today. She smiled when she saw him and invited him to join her. The two began to talk and enjoy their meal together, both feeling happy and greatly enjoying each other's company. The two smitten teenagers continued to talk and gradually grow closer to one another. And after a while, Danny finally found the courage to ask her what he really wanted to ask her.

"I think you're an amazing girl. I know we haven't known each other all that long...and there was that whole love triangle thing...but I have to be honest when I say that I really like you a lot and I admire you a lot. I think that we really have something together and I do want to get to know you better and I'm hoping that one day you might feel the same about me..."Danny confessed, still feeling shy but wanting to honest about his feelings.

His date seemed happy to hear him say that.

"Thank you, Danny-kun. I feel so happy that you feel that way about me..."The lovely girl said in a voice that made Danny's heart all a flutter.

The ghost boy continued to pour out his heart and confess his feelings, hoping that she would accept them and not reject him. He then pulled out a present that he had picked up a while back, a class ring that he had purchased earlier today and used his powers to engrave her name on it.

She seemed surprised and Danny explained that his father once told him that a girl wasn't officially a girlfriend until she was given a class ring. He explained his feelings again in an earnest manner as he asked her to be his girlfriend, and she accepted, making the ghost boy feel so many wonderful things right now as he locked eyes with the sailor guardian who found a special place in his heart.

It didn't take too long with the half ghost boy and the sailor guardian to share their first kiss as an official couple. One that made the ghost boy feel like he was the luckiest guy in the world.

They continued to dine together on the lovely cliffside and then spend the rest of the day on what would be the first of many dates between them. One that ended with a kiss that would reaffirm their feelings for each other, and they would spend the rest of his "vacation" in Japan together going on dates and fighting bad guys together like a real superhero couple would.

Not long after that, Danny would have to go back home, but not before they promised to have a long-distance relationship and promised they would see each other again in person soon.

The two would then spend the next few months together exchanging letters, emails and phone calls together, to strengthen their newfound bond and closeness with each other, despite the long distance between them. While the two of them would miss each other, they still felt like their bond was strong enough to survive.

After months have passed, she would visit him in America and the two of them would happily reunite. This time it would be Danny's turn to show his girlfriend some of the highlights of his hometown, while also coming across a few ghosts and fighting together as the superhero couple both teens secretly are. They both fought against ghosts and villains that would antagonize Danny and his superheroine girlfriend from time to time and cause trouble. But even that didn't stop the superpowered teens from having such a wonderful time with each other until they had to depart from each other again, when Danny's girlfriend had to return home to Japan, but both lovebirds promised to meet each in person again real soon. Before saying goodbye for now and sharing one more kiss before the long flight back to Japan.

They would continue to have visits like these for a few more years until it was time to graduate high school and go to college, and they both would go to the same one, and they no longer had to deal with the difficulties and struggles of a long-distance relationship that only made their love for each other grow evermore stronger.

They would finally get to enjoy just being together in long term and no longer having to worry about time or distance anymore. It was truly like a dream.

After graduating college, Danny would then purchase a special diamond ring and ask her a very important question on what would have been their anniversary, one that his love would happily say yes too and it would lead to a happy life together between them as they would get married, buy their own house, eventually had kids and one day grow old together.

Then, one day, fifty years after that fateful day, an old Danny and his wife would one day return to the cliffside where he asked her out on what would have been their anniversary and would have a lovely dinner together there, just as they did all those years ago.

The elderly Danny could only smile as he knew he had a long, happy life with the special woman who always had a special place in his heart. The one who was his true love, whom he chose on that fateful day and then went on to have a wonderful life together.

It really was a dream come true, wasn't it?

End of the dream

Back in the real world

Danny stirred awake as he found himself returning to the world of consciousness. He yawned and stretched his arms, having just woken up.

He did notice he had a smile on his face even now, as he recalled the wonderful dream he just had. The ghost boy recalled the dream of a wonderful, happy relationship and life with a wonderful girl...and he recalled WHO that girl was too.

The ghost boy was speechless for a moment as he recalled that dream in vivid detail and how it all made him feel...especially the girl who he dreamed of being with. The half ghost teen superhero then had a determined look on his face as he now knew what to do next.

"It really is her, isn't it?..."He thought, as he felt his heartbeat faster now and he was sure with his decision.

He was ready to make his choice.

He grabbed his cell phone and quickly dialed a number he knew all too well now. After several moments of waiting, he finally got a response.

"Hello..."A pretty voice was heard, one that made Danny's heart skip a beat again.

"Hi...it's me. Listen...do you think we can meet up later today?..." Danny requested, as he told her where and when he wanted to meet her.

The girl agreed and they made plans to meet later tonight at sundown since Danny needed time to prepare. He then hung up, feeling a bit nervous but hopeful too.

"Okay...got to get ready..."The ghost boy thought, not wanting to mess this up.

Danny soon got up, tidied himself up, got dressed and went to get ready, using his powers to leave his temporary hideout before anyone spotted him.

He knew what he had to do, and he didn't want to waste any more time. He has a lot to do today if he wants to get ready.

"Okay. I've got to go, no more worrying about regrets. I've got to tell her how I feel..."Danny thought, as he went to go pick up some things and make sure everything is set up.

He knew that later today, he would meet up with her again and that after today, there was no turning back. But this time, Danny didn't seem afraid of what might happen in the near future...if anything he looked excited to see through it.

He just hoped that it would all go well.
