Before we go to the chapter, I have to say on this one. Normally, Trigger got suspected and convicted of murder, that's for sure. But what if there is evidence that Trigger didn't do it? Man, things are not so doing very good. Brownie is dead, and the Kestrel II is sunk. Things are not go so well for us!
Clown: Agreed, Trigger. but by now the Osea High Command is already planning still to get to the Space Elevator.
Trigger: Let's hope that this one goes right!
Clown: I hope so, Trigger.
Meanwhile in the SN Sakamoto...
Maki: Hanayo, are you there? We have a briefing to do!
Hanayo: Coming now!
Hanayo is a pretty concerned about on this mission what the briefing officer has to say, but she gathers all of her courage.
Hanayo: Okay, time to do this!
Briefing begins
Satsuma Briefing Officer: By now, the Eruseans have strengthening their air defense network.
This is a very difficult obstacle for the Oseans and the IUN air units. However, someone is counting on them.
The hero of the Circum-Pacific War and the man who led the construction of the space elevator, Osea's former president Harling.
Harling was inspecting the elevator when the war broke out some days ago.
Osea declared his missing as classified since the elevator was taken over by the Erusean forces.
However, in the intel of Osean Federation Military, a military officer accompanying Mr. Harling hid him inside of the facility.
Both of them are waiting for a chance of rescue.
As we also know, the enemy anti-air radar network has been set up around the space elevator. It's likely a major squadron will be detected.
A single aircraft will go through the network, and send in a rescue team soon after.
However, we spotted several blindspots from our side to the south. This is our chance to go in.
The Eruseans might have focused on the Oseans, but not us.
We're ready to send a water-borne Satsuman black op strike teams to head to the space elevator.
On this mission, Hanayo, You, Maki and Emma will provide support for water-borne black op strike teams.
Hanayo, your first task is to get through the network, all on your own.
There are also a lot of rain clouds this time of year, very unusual on a summer day.
Flying through the clouds will enable you to stay hidden under the enemy's radar, but your jamming equipment on your Gripen NG will also make some difficult problems for them too.
Once you get through, destroy just the AA units south of the space elevator, 1st lieutenant You will assist you.
Maki and Emma will soon arrive with the water-borne units.
The Black Ops units will neutralize the enemy guards that are guarding the entrance and exfiltrate after they cleared the space elevator entrance.

According to Commander Miyafuji, AWACS Ryusuke has also been fitted with a video camera to see if the transport is shot down.
Hanayo, use your camera to snap a photo if you see a missile that is headed to the transport. Once you're made the photo, head back to the SN Sakamoto. Clear?

I'm still flying in my F-16C and my mission is to enter te area alone towards the space elevator.
Allied Commander: Entering operation area. Imposing radio silence.
We'll radio you, but are not permitted to make contact.
AWACS Sky Keeper: If you're spotted, the mission is over. Stay out of enemy radar. Use of weaponry is also strictly forbidden.
Okay, you're heading up the Harling rescue mission. The success of this mission depends on you. Good luck.
Trigger: Copy that, AWACS.
Meanwhile, several minutes earlier, on the School Idols side... On 17:50 PM.
Hanayo: Okay, I'll have to fly out of the range of the radar. Time to activate the jammer.
With a flick on a switch, the jammer on Hanayo's plane is activated and the range is long, it could even reach You's fighter plane, the F-35C.
You: Okay, I'm in Hanayo's jamming range. It has no effect on Hanayo's allies, like me.
AWACS Ryusuke: Okay Hanayo, you're already a third on their way to the rendezvous point. Good job, but stay focused.
Hanayo: Roger AWACS.
Hanayo continues flying over the radar net, with You in pursuit, following Hanayo's flight path.
Erusean Surveillance Unit: Situation normal. Nothing sighted.
AWACS Ryusuke: Hanayo, the jammer equipment will also jam the radar net, the enemy radar will not see you right now.
Hanayo: Okay, flying through now, the Erusean might never know what we are doing.
Hanayo flew straight through the radar, not even the Erusean radars could see what it was.
Erusean Surveillance Unit 3: Hey, what's a red moving dot doing on our radar?
Erusean Surveillance Unit 4: I don't know, it flew very fast. Maybe it crashed?
Erusean Surveillance Unit 5: I don't know it yet. It can't crash here!
AWACS Ryusuke: Hanayo, you're making a nice process. We are very close to the space elevator.
Look, I'm not gonna lie. It's just going to be you and your radar out there. Just know that you girls have a lot of friends pulling for ya.

Harling is still the president on some of the Oseans and us.
He ended the war along with a squadron on which he led, built the space elevator, and launched a spaceship from it.
Despite his success, he remained a humble hero.
The Oseans do their best to save him.
And after reaching the area…
AWACS Ryusuke: You made it through the radar! All enemy radar systems in our area are shutting down. Let's send the waterborne black ops team there and land on the west side!
Hanayo: We made it through before the Osean air units arrive!
You and Emma: Great work, Hanayo-chan!
Hanayo: Thank you girls!
Maki: Look at the size of this building! It's huge!
You: You could say that again! Can this tower reach space?
AWACS Ryusuke: That remains to be seen, You.
On the water, by the waterborne strike force...
SASF operative 1: Eyes on the space elevator… It's huge!
Satsuman Army Commander Kaga: All right! Those SAMs on the west are our targets. Ryus 1 and 2. Land close. Let's invite ourselves in.
SASF Operative 6: SAMs and Anti-air weapons close in.
Kaga: Copy, prep for our assault. Stay on comms.
If the defected Erusean officers told us the truth, we board, set up the explosives on the Erusean anti-air, clear the entrance and get the heck out of here.
Kaga's deputy, Koshiro: And if they are lying?!
Kaga: Don't worry, Miyafuji will deal with him once we get home.
Ayumi: May the Emperor's soul help us all.
Koshiro: Be ready for anything, this could be a trap…
After arriving on the beach… Several Eruseans had no idea that they were gonna be taken out by the Satsuman Special units.
Kaga just eliminated an enemy sentry fast.
Kaga: Ota, you got 3 Erusean sentries internal.
Ota: Making entry.
Erusean Sentry 1: That stupid thing. It's not working as planned.
Erusean Sentry 2: Keep trying, Rabault is waiting for our word.
Erusean Sentry 1: It's the rain that keeps us wet.
Erusean Sentry: Wha!
The Erusean sentries are eliminated by the SASF soldiers under Ota.
Ota: All right, we're in position. Setting the explosives now.
And a few seconds later…
Ota: Explosives set! This will bring up a serious distraction.
Kaga: That's the idea. Now, how is it going with Hokuto's team?
Hokuto: Explosive charges are set. We also took out some sentries.
Koshiro: Good work. We also set up charges on the anti-air emplacements.

All SASF members: Got it! Returning to our RHIB's now!
As the SASF units run back to the RHIB's, AWACS Ryusuke sees the Erusean troops move to the eastern area of the space elevator.
Emma: I see some troops heading to the eastern emplacements, AWACS.
AWACS Ryusuke: Let the Osean Air units take care of them.
Maki: It seems that they don't know it yet what we are doing.
You: Let's hope that the SASF members escape fast.
15 minutes later...
After the SASF members made their escape, the RHIB with Kaga waits for the signal with the detonator.
Kaga: The Osean Air units will come any minute now.
And just 3 minutes later, a Osean F-16C approaches.
Trigger's P.O.V
AWACS Sky Keeper: Radio silence is now lifted. The auxiliary craft will be arriving shortly.
Trigger: Got it.
AWACS Sky Keeper: Destroy the anti-air around the space elevator.
We're securing Sea Goblin's landing zone.
Trigger: Got it, AWACS.
I opened fire on the AA-guns immediately, and one AA gun is destroyed.
Meanwhile by Kaga...
Kaga: 3, 2, 1. Detonate!
By activating the detonator, several SAM's and AA emplacements explode one after another.
Kaga: Great job, mission success!
We better get out of here. Maki and Emma, escort us back to the SN Sakamoto!
Maki and Emma: Understood!
On the Erusean side...
Erusean Ground Unit 2: What was that explosion just now?! An incident?!
Erusean Ground Unit 4: Somebody took out our SAM's!
Erusean Ground Unit 6: Who did that, the Oseans?
Erusean Ground Unit 7: It took out several of our sentries!
Erusean Ground Unit 8: Where did they come from?
Meanwhile by Trigger...
Trigger: All anti-air units eliminated, some are destroyed by unknown infantry!
Gargoyle Squadron: The anti-air weapons are already gone. Which squadron did this?
Sky Keeper: Just one until you showed up.
Gargoyle Squadron: Impossible!
Clown and Golem squadron arrive a few moments later...
Clown: Trigger, sorry 'bout the wait. Cavalry's here.
Knocker: Golem Squadron, Trigger jumped through the fire. Now it's our turn.
Footpad: Understood.
Gargoyle Squadron: Gargoyle Squadron, stay focused. You all know our jobs.
Sky Keeper: The landing zone is secured. Sea Goblin, you are cleared to land.
Sea Goblin Team: Understood. Rendezvouz point is in sight. We are almost there.
And as I collect my breath, Sky Keeper spots something.
Sky Keeper: Multiple bandits over Selatapura Harbor! They're container launched UAVs.
Trigger: Here we go again, more drones!
Sea Goblin Team: Sea Goblin here. Going up to meet our two VIPs.
Sea Goblin in a CH-47 land immediately and send the troops.
Sea Goblin: The rescue craft's tagged on. Initiate.
AWACS Sky Keeper: Mission update, The rescue craft on the ground is defenseless. Golem and Mage, destroy all hostiles.
Clown: Wilco. All right, Trigger. Let's do this thing.
Sky Keeper: Gargoyle will stand by near the space elevator!
Trigger: I see a lot of container boxes loaded with drones. Better neutralize them!
Sea Goblin Team: This is Sea Goblin! Heading over to the ex-prez's location now, but I see that the Erusean guards in the space elevator entrance are taken out!
They gave us a free entrance!
Run to the container!
Sierra 1: Sierra 1! Moving!
Knocker: Golem 2, hang in there!
Trigger fired a missile on a MQ-99 and destroyed it.
Trigger: One enemy drone eliminated, now let's destroy those container boxes.
As Trigger destroys the container boxes, Sea Goblin continues to move.
Sky Keeper: Wasp down!
Gargoyle: We'll pass out from exhaustion before the enemy wears out.
Heavy gunfire is now on the Sea Goblin team.
Sea Goblin Team: Ambush!
Fire from the far shore!
They're targeting us! Get behind the chopper!
As gunfire intensifies on both sides, Trigger continues to shoot down the enemy containers.
Sierra 1: Return fire! Sierra 2, hold position!
Sierra 2: We're cut off!
Sky Keeper: UAVs approaching the space elevator! Stop them!
Eliminate all enemy UAVs. Don't let up.
Sierra 4: Taking fire! We're pinned down!
Sierra 2: Shoot back!
Sea Goblin Team: Ex-prez identified! Behind that gantry crane!
Sierra 1: Mr. Harling! Stay right there!
The gunfire continues to intensify on all of the area's where Sierra and Sea Goblin teams are positioned.
Sea Goblin Team: Jacob's been hit!
Sierra 3: Incoming rocket!
An RPG soldier managed to hit the Sea Goblin Team and the chopper. The contact with the rescue team is lost.
Sky Keeper: Sea Goblin! All survivors, respond! Is Mr. Harling alive?
There is no response.
Gargoyle Squadron: Strap in! We're fighting against machines.
Meanwhile by Trigger…
Sky Keeper: That's 'bout half. Mop up the rest.
As gunfire resumes, the Sea Goblin team struggles to beat the Erusean guards.
Sea Goblin Team: They got the chopper and Sierra 2!
Sierra 1: Damn! That was thermobaric!
While the gunfire continued until…
Sierra 1: Watch out! Rocket!
Another RPG rocket took out Sierra and the Sea Goblin team.
Sky Keeper: Damn…
Trigger: AWACS, what happened to the rescue team?
Sky Keeper: Sorry Trigger, they got wiped out.
Trigger: I knew this mission wasn't going to plan! What now?
Then someone called up.
Col. Johnson: Hello? Can you hear me? This is Colonel Johnson. I'm acting alongside former President Harling.
The rescue unit has been wiped out. Along with the guy who had this radio.
Mr. Harling is safe, but I'd like to get him out of here fast.
Sky Keeper: Sky Keeper. Understood. Colonel Johnson, are you all right?
Colonel Johnson: That doesn't matter right now.
We found a Erusean transport craft. Its engines are on.
Sky Keeper: I heard you were in the Air Force, Colonel. Can you fly?
Colonel Johnson: Better than Mr. Harling.
Sky Keeper: It'll do.
Trigger: I'll hope for the best.
Sky Kreper: All squadrons, be advised.
The call sign is Mother Goose One. I've sent the information via the data link.
Trigger: I see it now.
Col. Johnson: Mother Goose One? That's the best name you come up with?
Sky Keeper: Maybe.
While Trigger took out all the container boxes loaded with drones, Sky Keeper calls up.
Sky Keeper: All UAVs have been splashed!
All aircraft, former President Harling's transport is ready to take off.
Mother Goose One, take off!
Col. Johnson: All right, Mother Goose One taking off!
Mr. Harling wants to extend his thanks to you beforehand.
AWACS Sky Keeper: Let's wait till we're home safe.
Mage Squadron, Mother Goose One is heading south. Provide support.
Mission Update: 5 minutes remaining.
Trigger: Understood! Hold on, I think I see 2 aircraft approaching, are they Osean or Erusean?
AWACS Sky Keeper: Unknown. They are not from the country we have seen before.
Trigger: Hmmm…
Meanwhile…
Knocker: Sky Keeper, bogeys on my radar!

Sky Keeper: Sighting confirmed as MQ-101, forerunner for the Arsenal Bird!
Clown: The big bird is comin', huh?
Trigger: It looks like it! Guess I have to question these pilots will have to wait!
Sky Keeper: Mage, protect Mother Goose One! Shoot down any UAVs!
Trigger: Great. More of them!
Sky Keeper: Golem, intercept these UAVs.
Knocker: Golem 1, wilco. That last battle taught me a lot about those UAVs.
Sure was a mighty expensive lesson though.

Trigger: There are too many of them!
At the same time by You and Hanayo.

You: All right, prep the camera. We'll let the courts of Osea know this. If they can trust us.

Back to Trigger…
Trigger: Got one! A lot of 'em to go!
Sky Keeper: Vogel destroyed.
Arsenal Bird Controller: Roger. Sending UAVs at the transport.
Orders are to fire warnings.
While the UAVs are heading for the transport, Trigger receives a call from the unknown pilot.
???: Trigger, Trigger. Alexandra Hailstone. Do you read us?
Trigger: Who is this? How do you know my name?!
???: Let's just say that, we are gonna get you out of this mess. We have the evidence to get you not accused of this mistake.
For now, we'll get 1 picture of you not firing the transport and one for that drone who took the shot.
Just focus on your mission, Alexandra. We see you in Oured.
The call was off.
Trigger: Copy that. I think…
AWACS Sky Keeper: Mother Goose 1, UAV on your tail! Take evasive action!
Col. Johnson: I hear you, but this isn't exactly a fighter.
Trigger fired on the UAV and destroyed it.
Sky Keeper: Enemy UAV down. Great job, Trigger.
Trigger: Thank you, but we are not out of the woods yet!
Arsenal Bird Controller: Understood. An Arsenal Bird is on its way.
Strategic AI chose Liberty over Justice. Courses have already changed.
Trigger shot another MQ-101 down.
Gargoyle Squadron: Gargoyle 1, where's the signal?
Gargoyle 1: Gargoyle Squadron, stand by for my order.
Gargoyle 2: But without the lighthouse–I mean the harbor–they won't be able to get home!
IUN-PKF HQ: That ship isn't one of ours.
Gargoyle 3: Where's the signal?
IUN-PKF HQ: Gargoyle, change radio frequency.
Col. Johnson: Mother Goose One here. We're about to leave the airspace. Keep your fingers crossed!
IUN-PKF HQ: Gargoyle, it's time.
Gargoyle 1: Attention, Gargoyle Squadron: Babel! Babel! Babel!
Gargoyle 3 to Babel.

Gargoyle 2 fired a missile and hit a drone.
The next missile is fired.
All Gargoyle members launched their missiles on the target.
And they managed to hit several UAVs. Gargoyle Squadron leaves the area.
Knocker: Sky Keeper, what was that?
Sky Keeper: Gargoyle did their job.
Knocker: I figured, why weren't we informed?
Clown: The IUN can't coordinate between branches, as usual.
Trigger: It looks like the command is in a mess!
IUN-PKF HQ: Gargoyle Squadron, report!
Gargoyle 1: HQ, one hit was scored. The rest were intercepted by UAVs.
The elevator's windbreak took a scratch, nothing more. Not enough to shut down an Arsenal Bird.
IUN-PKF HQ: Roger, Continue to maintain air superiority.
Clown: Mother Goose One got hit!
Trigger: What? When did that happen?!
Sky Keeper: Mother Goose One got hit! Colonel Johnson, respond!
Mage Squadron, assess the situation.
Clown: This is Mage 1. I have Mother Goose One in sight. Cabin's fine, but the cockpit's not looking so good.
Sky Keeper: Colonel Johnson, are you okay?
Trigger: I don't hear a response.
Col. Johnson: Don't worry about that… Just send help this way… I'm sorry. Get Mr. Harling… Please…
Trigger: It doesn't look good, AWACS.
Sky Keeper: Mother Goose One, please respond.
Mother Goose One!
Clown: Sky Keeper. Should we continue providing cover for Mother Goose One?
Sky Keeper: Of course!
Trigger: I have a bad feeling about this…
As Trigger shoots another drone down, Then suddenly…
Sky Keeper: Mother Goose One is turning, what's going on? They're heading towards the space elevator.
Trigger: I don't know, but I got a bad feeling about this.
Clown: Me too, Trigger.
It's flying at a steady altitude, Who's at control?
Sky Keeper: It's not the colonel. Mr. Harling is the only one on board.
Trigger: Are you kidding me? Call him AWACS!
Sky Keeper: Mother Goose One, respond! Mr. Harling, please respond!
Clown: We can't protect our objective if it sticks around here!
Knocker: Now's not the time to freak out, fellas. We've still got a job to do, so let's do it! Keep your mind focused!
Trigger: I know, but the transport is in a terrible state!
Sky Keeper: Mr. Harling, we are not giving up on you!
The UAVs are approaching Mother Goose One!
Trigger: Oh no you don't!
Sky Keeper: Take 'em down now, Mage Squadron!
She flies immediately close to Mother Goose One.
Trigger: This doesn't look good, AWACS.
Sky Keeper: Mother Goose One, turn 180 degrees and exit combat airspace!
Trigger: No response.
Sky Keeper: Mother Goose One! Mr. Harling! Are you piloting that plane?
Trigger: Still no response! The transport is not in a good shape!
Arsenal Bird Controller: Arsenal Bird Liberty, passing waypoint 2.
Sky Keeper: The UAVs continuing their attack!
Clown: They're obsessed with that transport.
Arsenal Bird Controller: UAVs launched from Arsenal Bird Liberty headed toward the AO. Let's start by tricking Mage 2! For our Belkan friends!
Gargoyle 1: Is the former president still alive?
Sky Keeper: Mage, destroy the UAVs and keep Mother Goose One safe!
Trigger: We'll do what we can, but there are too many of them!
Trigger fired her guns on the UAVs, close to Mother Goose One, but little did she know, that an UAV managed to fire a missile, straight at Mother Goose One.
By You and Hanayo…
Hanayo managed to take the photo where the UAV was behind Trigger and Mother Goose One.
You: Do you have the photo, Hanayo?
Hanayo: I got it, You-chan!
You: Ryusuke, did you hear what the Eruseans say?
AWACS Ryusuke: We heard it clearly, You. They say that the Belkan friends of Erusea are going to trick Trigger!
And as the School Idols seen this coming, because meanwhile when Mother Goose One got hit…
Mage 2!
The UAV flew away while Mother Goose One received an another hit.
It lost altitude slowly, spewing smoke along inside the transport.
And later, it exploded from the sky.
Sky Keeper: Oh my God! Mother Goose One has been shot down!
Osean Fighter 3: Where'd that missile come from?!
Gargoyle 2: Mage 2 fired that!
Trigger: Impossible! I was firing my guns instead of my missiles!
Osean Fighter 4: It was Osean! A friendly missile hit' em!
Sky Keeper: Verifying the situation. Stop speculating.
Osean Fighter 5: Friendly fire! I saw it!
Knocker: Mother Goose One exploded in the air. No one could have survived…
Osean Fighter 7: Looked like it tried to protect the elevator.
Osean Fighter 8: Erusean bastards, they killed a hero!
Knocker: Mage 1… was it Trigger?
Knocker: …Trigger was the closest.
Clown: UAVs were crawling all over our objective.
Knocker: I told you to keep an eye on that hatchling!
Clown: …It must have been a mistake.
Sky Keeper: Arsenal Bird is entering! All aircraft, withdraw immediately!
All Osean aircraft are retreating.
IUN-PKF HQ: Trigger, you can't fly for a while. You understand why.
Trigger: I just can't believe it. Now I'm totally hurt from what you told me. You guys think that I killed Harling?
IUN-PKF HQ: We might think that, but you will soon be on a court-martial.
Trigger: Now that you guys have me suspected of killing Harling, I think that I'll soon cross the river Styx and soon going to the hell of the abyss.
As the Osean fighters leave the combat airspace… Meanwhile by the Eruseans.
Erusean Arsenal Bird Controller: Ha! Our plan worked! With their president Harling dead, and that Osean pilot framed. Thanks to our Belkan friends that they wanted revenge, we have delivered a huge blow for the Osean Military. We shall laugh at that pilot, she will suffer for this, hahahaha!
Little did they know that Ryusuke had heard their conversation.
Meanwhile by the School Idols…
You: Did you see that, Hanayo-chan?
Hanayo: I saw it pretty well, and we know that Trigger didn't do this!
Ryusuke: And it seems that the Eruseans have said that the Belkans got their revenge.
You: Did you have the recordings, Ryusuke?
Ryusuke: I have all the recordings, You-san.
You: Perfect, we better get out of here. Let's return to the SN Sakamoto for now.
The School Idols and AWACS Ryusuke withdrew from the space elevator area, and just in time. The Eruseans tried to find out who they are, but they are long gone.
And a few hours later...
Aircraft Carrier Controller: Aqours 3, you are cleared to land. Ryusuke is already landed.
Several minutes earlier, Maki and Emma landed and the Satsuma Special Black ops team has returned to the hybrid aircraft carrier.
After some maneuvers, You managed to land.
Muse 5, you are ready to land.
And with the manuvers, Hanayo landed.
Hanayo: Time to switch off the jammer.
The jammer on Hanayo's fighter plane is shut off with a switch.
Carrier Tower Controller: Perfect landing, Hanayo!
Do you have all the photos and recordings?
You and Hanayo: Yes!
Carrier Tower: Good work, now let's head for Oured! Stand by for your next sortie.
Debriefng:
You and Hanayo, great work for getting all recordings and photos. We shall look on these photos and bring them to Yu.
We all know now that former president Harling is killed and Trigger got suspected for this act.
We shall prevent the court that Trigger is responsible and get an immediate inquiry.
For now, get some good rest, School Idols. We shall reach Oured in a matter of days.
