I think I've found the perfect episode to replace the whole "Pegasus Incident" episode, hope everyone enjoys it.

The Brother Of Hercules

Chapter 37

Maelstrom & The Spartan Experience

Prometheus Academy

Turns out everyone was having a normal day, though Hercules was having problems with Pegasus, due to the flying horse wanting attention, but this caused Hercules to "blow up" in frustration towards the horse, causing said horse to fly away, which then caused Hercules to go after Pegasus in order to apologies for his thoughtlessness.

While that was happening Mael was relaxing and hanging out with his friends, until Helen came up to them asking if they've seen Adonis, cos while she's no longer going out with the man-child, she feels at least "some" responsibility considering both are part of royalty, but obviously she was the better royal when it comes to being popular.

Suddenly a delivery was dropped off to Maelstrom, where one of Adonis's servants had popped out of the box, where he read the scroll for Adonis, ""To my bosom-buddy, Maelstrom, Just a note to remind you how much I value your friendship,""

This causes pretty much everyone to roll their eyes at the letter, "Isn't funny how everytime he needs something, he gets all chumy(!)" Mael couldn't help but point out in so much sarcasm that even Icarus got it.

The servant continued, ""You're probably wondering what I want this time, it's like this, HELP! YOU MUST RUSH TO MY AID! Oh but brave Maelstrom, you must listen, I've been captured by the Spartan Office Training Corps, the brutes are torturing me, you're my only hope.""

After hearing this, though Mael didn't really want to go and help Adonis, since Mael did do his research about Sparta, along with their SOTC training style, "(Sigh!) Guess I've no choice but to go and see what's happening, but knowing Adonis, he's blowing this whole thing out of proportions."

Since while he obviously didn't want to rush to save Adonis, he'll at least check it out to find out what was going on, where Helen gives him a kiss on the cheek for venturing towards such a dangerous country, not really bothered about Adonis being apart of the SOTC, with Icarus joining him, while at least wanting one of the girls to give him a kiss on his cheek for luck, but they just pushed him away.

Pretty soon, both Mael and Icarus were walking the streets of Sparta, where both teens managed to sneak into the the SOTC without being spotted, where they quickly slip on a couple of uniforms, though Icarus ended up getting TOO into his "character" of a Spartan Trainee, meaning that Mael was kinda regretting bringing Icarus with him, but it was better than having him hang out with the girls, otherwise there wouldn't be anything left of him.

Though once the pair had found Adonis, it was obvious that the big baby was, well, being a baby about being there, then the duo soon found out that Adonis was sent to the SOTC by order of his father, as a big family tradition, which obviously Adonis was a big pansy about the whole thing, proving how much of a spoilt brat that he was.

But once the duo had heard of this mandatory tradition, they decided to leave, that is until the sargent made his appearance while yelling out orders, with Icarus falling into his Spartan character, which the sargent was pleased about, though once the man left, Adonis began begging the both of them to help him escape.

At this point, Maelstrom was rubbing his forehead in exhaustion at being dragged into one of Adonis's troublesome affairs, "Alright look, I'll help you out by giving you the training in order to pass the Sparta Basic Training, and if you start to complain, me and Icarus are out of here, with me promising you right now, that when you return to Athens, I'm gonna make Kurama's pranks look like a wet willy compared to what I will do to you."

Already having a quick recap of Mael's prank against the Trojans, Adonis quickly decided that he'll listen to Mael's instructions.

Soon the group were at an assembly, where Ares made his appearance and started talking about how he tamed everything for Sparta, along with a song being sung in the background, though the song had traveled up to where Boreas, The North Wind, was, where he hated the song due to it being a reminder of his defeat against Ares, and quote/unquote, "being kicked in the bum," as the song goes.

Pretty soon, everyone was running laps, due to Adonis not singing the song, but instead of 10 laps they had to run 20 laps due to Icarus pretty much getting lost in his character, though Adonis was trying to "lag behind" meaning paying off others to help him out, Maelstrom quickly put a stop to it by forcing, namely giving Adonis a look that practically screams, 'If you don't do it yourself, YOU'LL BE IN FOR A WORLD OF HUMILIATING PAIN!' Which pretty much knocked the prince off his high-horse and quickly continues the training himself.

Though it would seem that the pipe tunnel course was giving Adonis more trouble than even Maelstrom's glare couldn't cure, but everything else, Maelstrom's glare worked, which along with Mael and Icarus being the top of the classes, though Icarus was taking his Sparta role too seriously, but in the end not even a group of trainees, or Mael's godly strength would budge Adonis into the pipe tunnel course, so until he completes that part, right now they were stuck.

Where it turns out, if one of them fails the final test, then they all fail, meaning that Adonis needed to pass the final test, meaning he needed to get through the pipe tunnel course, but due to how scared he was, he tried to make his escape, until the other trainees, and Icarus, stopped him, making Mael raise and eyebrow towards Icarus's change in personality.

But the next morning, Adonis was missing and so was Icarus's wings, meaning Adonis had pretty much "flown the coop" as the saying goes, quite literally if you think about it, with both Mael and Icarus trying to look for him, until he came falling from the sky, where he'd quickly explained that Boreas was planning to blow, where at first he wanted the god of the North Wind to destroy Sparta, until it turns out that if Sparta was destroyed then Adonis wouldn't pass basic training, meaning he wouldn't be prince, so with that Adonis JUMPED at the chance to have Mael rescue Sparta.

Though the problem was that the sergeant didn't believe the boys at all, thinking that they were making excuses in order to get out of the final test, but just as the test was starting, Boreas had made his appearance, blowing everything away, even Mael, Icarus and Adonis.

Where Mael quickly went to work in rescuing people, though a couple had tried to criticise him, until he gave an intimidating look, making the two quickly clam up, then he asks Adonis why Boreas wanted to destroy Sparta, with the prince explaining that the North Wind hated to song, that's when Mael had a sudden idea, along with asking Icarus if he remembers the song, which he did, along with making their way towards the pipe tunnel course.

Where Mael then got the other two to sing the song, though as they enter the tunnel/pipe, Adonis lagged behind for a bit, but he soon got into singing the song, showing how much he loves the sound of his voice, but soon Boreas heard the singing, wanting it to stop once and for all, where Maelstrom quickly made Adonis charge into the pipe by stating that his throne was on the other side, but there was a commoner sitting on it, which made the man baby practically jump into the pipe, followed by the trio singing the song from inside it, which made it echo and sound louder, causing Boreas to get even more angry.

Due to the North Wind's anger, he quickly entered the pipe as well, but the trio quickly exits the pipe, allowing Mael to seal the exit with his godly strength, where he then quickly made his way to the other end and sealed that part as well, pretty much trapping the North Wind in the pipe, Mael then picked the pipe up and rolled it into a ball.

Where they then stood before Ares, who was impressed that some new recruits had beat Boreas, he couldn't contain his laughter, along with knocking on the pipe that the North Wind was trapped in, where after Mael had tossed Boreas away, Ares went to give medals to the three, though when Ares had recognised Mael as an Athenian, he took the medals away, though Icarus had begged the god to let him keep his medal, but the god wasn't having any of it, though due to Adonis being from a different country that was on friendly terms with Sparta, he got to keep his medal.

With Icarus being upset about not getting a medal of his own, Mael decided to get Icarus a meal when they get back to cheer the boy up, which helped.

As for Hercules, he explained that he had apologised to Pegasus, and how they BOTH were gonna stick together, even in detention, making Mael chuckle a little and state, "Well, that should at least teach Pegasus that we need to study and not play all the time, right boy." With the horse quickly agreeing, though Kurama was snickering at the horses misfortune, he quickly sneaked off, wanting to plan Adonis's "welcome home" party as soon as possible, with Rachnee helping him.

The End.

There you have it, I switched Mael to take Hercules's place while Hercules goes to apologies to Pegasus, since that episode would be a Hercules and Pegasus moment.

I hope everyone enjoyed this chapter, since I couldn't think of a filler for it, so I switched it around for another episode. lol

Also, just to point out, Mael couldn't take his sword Ingrid with him due to it being a stealth mission and it would look strange for a cadet to have an enchanted sword with him at the time.

I Do Not Own Naruto Or Hercules.
