Chapter 18

He sat rather contently to it all. Sukuna watched as the Toorus voile back and forth shouting at one another for what has happened, how they didn't know about it or the fact that the family is returning.

Chusi was next to him as she watched it all. "It reminds me of old times…" she said with a content sigh.

Sukuna snickered of course, he was young when he saw this for the first time and it is nothing out of the ordinary for this clan.

It was shortly after Mother Tooru's brother had returned, he was gone for some time getting supplies and establishing trade route. He was only supposed to be gone for a few weeks, but it became months.

When he did return, he wasn't alone. In fact, the group of ten who left, returned now as a group of fifty!

Mother Tooru confronted her brother until she noticed the faces. "Other members… you found other members of the family!?"

"That's why it took me so long!" he protested.

It broke out into a shouting match. Where have you been? Why have you not sent word to us? How can you keep yourselves hidden for so long and not find other members of the family? Who the hell are they? Why did you marry them? Are you serious right now?

Back and forth they went, they would yell at one another for a good half hour before emotions settled and the reunion could occur.

It has happened more than once, and they wouldn't be Toorus without this shouting banter at one another.

"YOU MARRIED A GOJO!?" Yua's father shouted.

"What's wrong with her marrying me?!" Six Eyes snapped back.

"I'm not talking to you!"

"I'm right freaking here!"

Suguru was trying to move himself away from the shouting, yet Kashimo… well… perhaps he will continue to call him that for the time being. Anyways, Kashimo was surging as he suddenly peered at Suguru. He was caught in his sight. "And you?" he demanded. "Who are YOU suppose to be? Who are you to Yua?" he demanded.

Suguru sighed in defeat. "Her second husband," he said gently.

"OH COME ON! NO FAIR!" Yua's brother shouted.

"What do you mean no fair?!" Yua snapped back. "Besides, these two had the hots for each other for a while, I'm the third wheel now!" she snapped back.

Her brother looked intrigued. "Go on…"

"No, and we are not talking about this right now!" she snapped.

"At the same time, Suguru is preggers so a threesome isn't in the cards." Six Eyes said bluntly.

The Toorus froze.

"NO FAIR!" The women shouted. "HOW?!"

"I'm a dragon…" Suguru said meekly.

Instantly, there was silence. Kashimo froze to this before he stared at Suguru once more. "You… you became a dragon?" he asked with great sincerity.

Suguru nodded, but peered at Chusi. "Thanks to her, she cleaned me up," he explained. "I wasn't worthy to stand next to Yua, until she made me so. And yes, I am the one having the children… there was an incident…"

He surged again. "We have been informed and rest assured, Pops has taken good care of our stitched up friend…"

"Really?! POPS?! You called him POPS…. I call my second dad Pops!" Rook said proudly.

"Okay, I got to know the story about him… but first…" the family began to take notice of Sukuna sitting and watching it all rather contently. "You… you knew where Yua was and yet… you knew we were looking for her? Did you also know…"

"That you were not permitted to approach her or tell her otherwise that the family was coming back because of another clause in the biding vow? Yes, I knew that the moment you laid eyes on my wife… I also know that look all too well. The look of hope and yet a taste of desperation… I know a lot of looks similar and greater than that." Sukuna said bluntly.

Kashimo froze to this as he peered back at Yua. "You were never a twin and yet… how do you have one now?" he asked of her. "She looks like you, she talks differently though, and yet…"

Chusi smiled. "I'm Chusi Tooru, I am in fact… your ancestor from over 1,000 years ago." She said and lowered her head respectfully. "I came back because of Yua and my husband who had a binding vow with lady Tiamat." She explained.

"Binding vow?" he asked curiously and peered to Sukuna oddly.

He smiled. "Yes, a binding vow. For you see, I was to have a Tooru for a wife many years ago… but… unfortunately it never came to pass due to an attack… I have never longed for another woman since and yet…" he trailed off.

"Okay then… the question remains…" Kashimo announced. "Yua… WHY THE HELL DID YOU MARRY GOJO WHEN I TOLD THEM THE LAST TIME TO BACK THE HELL OFF!?" He demanded of her.

Yua was taken aback as Six Eyes became pissed.

"WHY ARE YOU UPSET WITH ME BEING YOUR INLAW?! HE'S WORST!" Six Eyes stated as he bluntly pointed to Sukuna.

"He's not entirely wrong…" Sukuna said below his breath.

"I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THE HELL HE IS!" Kashimo shouted back. "YOU I know since you came to MY house with your… guardian at the time to try and convince us into selling Yua to your clan!"

"Wait, sell?!" Yua demanded.

"Not uncommon." Sukuna said bluntly. "If anything, it a reverse dowry. And I am willing to wager that they were not the only ones out there attempting to buy Yua from you. However, all others backed off, the moment the Gojo clan came since they had a prodigy on their hands."

"That's the nicest thing you have ever said about Gojo" came out of Suguru.

"Not going to lie, he's right," Six Eyes muttered.

Kashimo froze to this. He turned to Sukuna and asked. "You knew?"

Sukuna snorted a laugh. "All Tooru women go through this, especially with other clans considering how… unique the women are. The Gojos would have been no exception to that rule…" he said. But then paused. "Huh, just recently I found myself rather… bothered by incest and I never knew why, but now I remember…"

"Do we really need to talk about this now?" Yua asked with a defeated sigh.

"I suppose not, it would ruin the mood." Sukuna replied and shrugged his shoulders to it all.

"So… anyone going to explain him?" Kashimo demanded as he hooked his thumb at Sukuna.

Yua hesitated. "Uh… yes… but dad… please… keep an open mind… And don't freak out" Yua pleaded with him.

When Kashimo turned his back, Sukuna smirked as he began to reach for his mask…
