Here it is, the 155th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on schedule. Star's final act before her death has bought the heroes precious time in their war against All for One, Shigaraki, and their forces and they're all committed to making the most of that time as they prepare for the coming battle. However, will it be enough or will All for One still have a few cards to play that could negate Star's sacrifice? Only time will tell but as training resumes two of Class 1-A haven't been present and one of those two is still upset. Why? Well the other is determined to find that out but are the heroes ready for what is about to be revealed? Well, let's find out as that is all the administrative stuff that I have for you, however, and there are no guest reviews that can be responded to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 155th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 155: Traître

As soon as Izuku left the dorm, he hit the training area hard just like the rest of the class was. It was impressive to see as almost every member of Class 1-A was doing their best, pushing their limits, and working together to get as strong as they could for what they were all expecting to be the final battle.

Koda was working with the birds in U.A.'s forest. Sero was trying to catch Tokoyami with his tape while Tokoyami and Dark Shadow worked to counter it. Kirishima got hard and had Ojiro, Shoji, Sato, and Momo wail on him all while Momo had her Miraculous active and was using Creation at the same time to make several generators for Kaminari who was using them to train Electrification. Mineta was sending as many of his balls as possible at Mina and Jiro who defended against and destroyed them. Elsewhere Ochaco was floating rocks that Tsu would then grab with her tongue and throw at a running Ida to dodge.

While all of this was going on, Marinette rapidly cycling through bigger and bigger items before suddenly switching to small items to use her Quirk Cure on all the damage, something she repeated as each Quirk Cure used up the item she created. To add to all the training, most of the damage being cured had been caused by Adrien as he was making and controlling vast amounts of Cataclysm from his body and destroying anything he could with it, in reason. All of them were giving their all and so too was Izuku from the moment he joined them.

To start with Izuku went up against Kacchan in an aerial battle that he almost managed to win but he'd not expected Bakugo to use his own sweat in the air around Izuku to blow him up from a distance. That had been unexpected and when they took a break, Izuku's hair a black frizzy mess from Kacchan's explosion, he knew that he had to ask about.

"How'd you pull that off, Kacchan?" Izuku asked as he lay on the dirt where he'd fallen after Bakugo's attack. "I've never seen you use a move like that before."

"You wouldn't seeing as you've been away since Jaku." Bakugo replied looking down a smile on his face. "As for how, I simply stored up my power and then fired it off, it's something that Endeavor taught me. However, it's not just a single detonation that I can do, my improved cluster attack that you just saw comes from me flinging around beads of my sweat that build up as I move and then exploding them all together. That's just the begging of my upgrades, though, I'm leveling up all my moves so I've gotta start sweating a lot more, literally."

"Oh so that's why you're wearing your winter suit despite it being spring." Izuku said sitting up as it all clicked. "Between it, the weather, and all your movements you're going to sweat a ton which gives you even more to work with. It's just the kinda thing you'd do Kacchan."

"True but the drawback is that overheating like this eats up my stamina." Bakugo said looking at his hand. "So it's either more power for a shorter period of time or the usual improvements that I've made over the year."

"It's still a big improvement and it's not just you, everyone's improving." Izuku said sitting up and looking around and saw Todoroki just standing there with fire and ice coming from his shoulders and feet while he held his hands in front of him, fingers interlocked as he concentrated intensely on what he was doing. "I've never seen Todoroki doing that, that's different for sure."

"I think that I'm about to get the hang of this." Todoroki said though whether it was to himself or Izuku's comment as he was in earshot wasn't clear. "I can almost regulate my left side as well as I can regulate my right. When I achieve that then I'll know that this body can withstand Dabi's flames."

Izuku watched for a moment longer before it ended and Todoroki coughed a bit from it. Adrien had been keeping a side eye on Todoroki the moment that he'd started to really build up his new technique and shifted what he was doing with Cataclysm just in case he needed to use his Quirk to subdue either fire, ice, or both if Todoroki couldn't contain what he was doing.

However, it was clear that he didn't need to use it so Adrien went back to work only this time he wasn't creating a mass of the black energy that he could use wide scale destruction but manipulating and rather he molding streams of the black energy coming from his body into different shapes and forms. That caught Izuku's attention as well as he looked over and saw Agreste's deep concentration at what he was doing.

"A wall or mass of Cataclysm is useful and it can stop Decay but it's crude and blunt while taking a lot out of me to maintain." Adrien said simply as he saw Izuku looking and answered before he could ask anything, 6 tendrils burst from his back while two more came from his palms, the ones on his palms morphing into rough daggers while the ends of the tendrils began to form other weapons or in one case a shield. "And it won't just be Decay that I'll have to deal with so I need to up my precision and multi angled attacks with Cataclysm to protect myself. This also helps concentrate it more allowing it to spread faster into whatever it touches."

"I see, yes that could come in handy when dealing with projectile Quirks or something that you can't focus directly on." Izuku said thinking on what Adrien was saying and analyzing it. "I know you can coat your whole body with it but that's not really a shield, more a something that is useful for cleanup and rescue than battle so this is better in battle and more precise than a wall like you said."

"Precisely." Adrien said with a smile. "I knew you'd get it quick, Midoriya."

"Yours I get, how Cataclysm works and is applicable to battle is straightforward." Izuku said though the fact that it was once Agreste's power via his Miraculous and thus magic was still a bit beyond him. "Though I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish Todoroki."

"I'm working on getting my fire and ice in harmony." Todoroki said simply. "That should give me the edge I need. Part of what my father was looking for when he married my mother was a way to handle his flames as even he can't handle them at a point. The fact that Dabi got his Quirk only more powerful shows it though Dabi also got our mother's ability to handle cold which didn't help."

Izuku just thought on that for a moment though he didn't voice anything as he knew how sensitive a topic the nature of Todoroki's family was. As he did, Kaminari's voice reached him from where his friend was taking a break on a nearby bench and having some water while Mineta sat next to him constantly pulling a ball off his head and dropping it in a pile as they sat so that he was still training even though he was sitting down.

"I know that All Might said that this will be a total war and if so it's going to be worse than what we went through a little over a month ago but still…" Kaminari began as he lowered his bottle of water, his statement causing Mineta to pause and look at him with confusion. "The way it is right now, the two big bads are totally vulnerable at the moment, at least as I see it."

"Huh?" Mineta asked but Kaminari plowed on either not hearing or just ignoring Mineta's confusion.

"Then you've got the fact that Gigantomachia's taking a nice long prison nap in that structure they've built around where he fell in Jaku." Kaminari said as he continued to give voice to his thoughts. "So, I bet with all of that factored in we can take down All for One and the League down without much of an issue the moment that we find them. Especially with how Yao-Momo can put us right on top of them the moment we locate them so we can rush them en mass before they realize what's hit them."

"Moron, you've forgotten, or likely not realized, three things." Bakugo said walking over to them having heard what Kaminari was saying and deciding to put some realism into the idiot's head. "There's always more to a situation than what the big picture shows, you've gotta look at the fine details."

"Wait really?" Kaminari asked both surprised and worried as he looked at Bakugo. "Three?"

"Yes and the first one negates what Ponytail can now do with that magic horse thing of hers and that's the fact that we probably won't be able to find where All for One and Shigaraki have holed up, which will likely also include their top lieutenants." Bakugo said raising a finger to show that this was the first point though Adrien was just glad that Momo had her Miraculous active as Kaalki wouldn't take too kindly to being called a magic horse thing. "Just think about it for a moment and you'll realize that."

"I did think and we've found them before, haven't we?" Kaminari asked. "So we can do so again."

"Sure we've been able to locate the Nomu hanger, Shigaraki's hideout in Kamino, and the research lab but ever since All for One broke out of prison we've not been able to locate him." Bakugo said. "And even before then, none of what we found were his actual hideout just a storage facility, his successor's hideout, and where he had his Nomu's made but not him. We've only seen All for One when he wants us to see him, he's the best there is at going underground and living in the shadows the damned nut-sack face."

"That is a cursed mental image that I didn't need." Jiro said as she and Momo had come over as Bakugo was talking though as Momo hadn't yet used Voyage she wasn't going to drop the transformation, which given what he'd said about Kaalki was probably good as she'd likely get in his face for it the moment she'd had some food. "And now I can't stop thinking about it because it's true. Great, more nightmare fuel."

"Ignoring what Bakugo aid about Kaalki, she's called a kwami by the way not some magic horse thing." Momo said taking up the conversation. "And I don't use her, she's my partner who lends me her power."

"She's still magic!" Bakugo shouted glaring at her. "And looks like a horse because that's the zodiac sign she's created from or whatever I don't like Mage so I don't pay attention to what that bastard does."

"Kacchan, better not let him hear that." Izuku said raising his hands. "Remember la…"

"No I don't!" Bakugo shouted glaring at Izuku as Marinette made her way over as well having decided to take a few moments off while the stomach pump worked in some paste, which would also give her a sense for how fast this recharge system was. "And don't bring it up!"

"Ok I wonder what happened there but moving on." Momo said as she held up her left hand with two fingers up to indicate that she'd understood what the three problems that Bakugo had spoken of were and was going to mention the next one. "To pick up from the first problem, our second problem is that the last time we faced an incomplete Shigaraki and we barely managed to scrape out a draw against him. Even with Star destroying some of his Quirks at the end of their fight, his true power is currently an unknown quantity and to compound that we've lost about half our numbers since then. At this point, given all these factors, we may not be a match for him."

"Precisely, there are factors to consider in our favor but numbers and strength are not on our side and that is a factor in any battle." Marinette said. "And the third thing is, providing that we can't overcome the first problem, or at least find a way around it, they're going to be the ones who decide when and were the final battle is going to take place."

"They will?" Kaminari asked.

"Yes, remember that All for One stole Ragdoll's Search Quirk before the fight in Kamino so he or Shigaraki, or possibly both after what that doctor could do, can see find us from basically anywhere. Marinette said with a nod. "Search has already stored our information because Ragdoll would have used it at the training camp before her Quirk was stolen so they'll know what to look for. Hopefully, it was one of the Quirks destroyed by New Order but even then we're still at a major disadvantage going into this fight."

"Trust you to pick up the third point, Dupain-Cheng." Bakugo said though with no hostility in his voice as Izuku and Adrien joined them as well. "But yeah, those are the three problems that we face so now do you get why we're tapping every possible hero and resource that we have available?"

"This is why the next move we make is vital." Izuku said seriously as Kaminari tried to process the problems that had been explained to him and seemed to fail based on the look on his face. "I have to force Shigaraki out into the open and fast. I have to hurry up and…"

"You do mean we not I, don't you?" Ida asked interrupting Izuku with a light chop to the top of his head that caused him to turn and look at Ida with a smile on his face. "After everything that we've been through, after we came to get you, we're in this together."

"Yeah seriously Midoriya!" Kirishima said and Izuku realized that almost all of the class were now standing around them smiling and showing their support. "We've got this, we'll all help you take Shigaraki down as soon as you force him out into the open."

"Some of us have the lieutenants to worry about, it is my duty to deal with my brother, but we're all here for you." Todoroki said. "This is something we're going as a class."

"We'll all play out part in the coming war." Adrien said. "Yes, you're the one who will have to take down Shigaraki in the end but some of us will be there with you, I for one have to be, while others will deal with All for One, Dabi, Toga, Spinner, and more so that you can focus solely on your own task."

"Of course, I'm sorry." Izuku said smiling and looked around at his friends before he finally voiced something as he looked at Ida. "By the way, I need your opinion on something. Is it cool for me to walk around right now? I won't have any issues with the evacuees?"

"Yes, that should be fine." Ida said before he looked over at Uraraka. "With Uraraka's speech still fresh on everyone's minds the Hero Course students and evacuees are getting along very well now. There won't be an issue if you want to walk around the campus."

"She really did move the crowd with her words." Marinette said with a smile as Ochaco went bright red at the praise, and of course the role her own personal feelings for Izuku played into her speech while Tsu looked at her intently understanding the same thing as Marinette as she too was fully aware of how deep Ochaco's feelings were. "Touched all of their hearts with her passion, you're fine Midoriya."

"Oh ok, that's good." Izuku said, he still needed to thank Uraraka for what she did for him but he wanted to do that in private when it was just the two of them. "Thanks."

"I get the problems that we're facing but even then it just doesn't seem fair." Kaminari said getting their attention as he looked at his water bottle. "It seems like every time we think we've got All for One on the ropes and are about to win he pulls something else out of his ass and gets the last laugh. It's hard to deal with."

"That may be but we're heroes, we're on the ropes as well but in the end we pull through and take the villains down no matter how many hits we take in the process." Marinette said seriously as she looked at Kaminari. "We all chose this path because we have the conviction to get back up and see the fight through to the end. This is coming to an end, both sides know it, and we will come out on top no matter the odds, we have too."

The others just nodded at that. Marinette was one of the class's leaders and inspirations, especially with the girls, and now that they all knew her past they were all aware of at least part of why she was so good. They also knew what she and Adrien had been through and they still got up and resumed being heroes despite losing everything that they'd known and ending up centuries in the future in a world totally different to the one that they'd been born into.

It was a source of inspiration and they all felt that they could get back up and continue the fight even if it wasn't fair, life never was, they could do this and with that they all resumed their training. The entire time none of them questioned why neither Hagakure nor Aoyama weren't present and hadn't been all day though Izuku at least was concerned for the latter and his planned walk in a bit would be to find Aoyama and make sure that he was ok.

Toru was deep in thought as she walked through the woods on U.A.'s grounds where she'd trained many times over the last year. However, this time she was not training, well not directly at least though she was being stealthy and silent which was technically training, but rather following a friend to see what was ailing him. Said friend was her classmate Yuga Aoyama and Toru was worried about him because every since the events at the Gunga Mountain Villa and in Jaku city he'd been mopey.

They all felt bad afterwards given what had happened, what Midoriya did leaving them, and all the revelations about Marinette and Adrien's past, though admittedly Toru already knew that part, but Aoyama had taken things extra hard since then. While they'd both been the only two in the class to not say something to Midoriya during his retrieval, Toru had wanted to she'd just been unable to due to being unable to really help stopping him and as such was on coordination duty with Aoyama regarding the arrest of Dictator.

However, Aoyama seemed to be unwilling to talk and after a month or so of being mopey following the Paranormal Liberation War, Toru had realized that it was serious because Aoyama had stopped smiling. She'd hoped that when Midoriya came back to them he'd come out of it because Midoriya was a good friend of his but even then Aoyama had still been sad.

In fact, it had seemed that he was somehow even more upset than he was before and had gone out of his way to avoid everyone since then. As such, Toru had decided to follow Aoyama this morning when he slipped out of the dorm before All Might came to give them the news about Star's final act and the slight reprieve that it had bought them to see what Aoyama was up too.

What he was up too wasn't training as Toru had expected given that he'd left in his hero costume, she'd also been in her hero costume but as it was just gloves and shoes it wasn't hard to just slip out in it. Besides, she needed her maximum stealth as she wanted to find out what was upsetting Aoyama without him knowing so that she could help him as it was clear that he wasn't going to share it with them. Well, it turned out that he had slipped out to meet up with his parents in a secluded spot in the woods and Toru had followed them to the spot and was currently hiding behind a tree spying on them.

It was clearly a personal family matter so she didn't reveal herself but she wanted to be there to find out what the issue was and then she'd come in afterwards to help, and apologize for spying but right now she had to do this so that she could help. Toru was glad that she'd held back as soon as she was in earshot and heard Aoyama's mother speaking to him.

"You have no choice, Yuga, you know zat as much as we do." Aoyama's mother said to him, her voice low and while she was speaking Japanese there was a heavy French accent to it that made Toru glad that she'd spent the last year with a French girl as a good friend because thanks to Marinette's own French accented Japanese she didn't have an issue with it. "He's just given us new, explicit, instructions on what he wants you to do. Don't worry my son, ze messages were in code so no one will realize zat zey were anything bad. Plus, out here in this wood the surveillance cameras won't pick us up so you don't have to be scared."

Toru's hands were clenched at what she was hearing from Aoyama's mother, who resembled her son a lot other than being older and a woman, it was clear that Aoyama got a lot of his looks from her, because of the implications of her words. Implications that were confirmed a second later.

"All for One is out of prison now and zat means zat things will now go exactly as he wants zem to, zey always do when he's involved." Aoyama's mother continued confirming something that Toru had never thought possible of one of her classmates though a traitor at the school had been suspected by the staff after the summer training camp only to be dropped following a lack of activity in the wake of All for One's capture in Kamino. "You know what will happen if we don't follow his orders to the letter, he'll murder the three of us!"

It took a lot of willpower for Toru to not gasp at that as she watched Aoyama standing there, lip quivering and tears streaming down his face, his mother in a fancy purple dress before him her hands on his shoulders while his father stood just to the side in an equally fancy double breasted black jacket over a stripped button down shirt. They really were as fancy as their son when it came to style, clearly they came from money, but Toru didn't have time to really pay attention to that as she watched what was going on.

"Please Yuga!" Aoyama's mother was pleading now. "You've done exactly what All for One wanted you to do in ze past, told him all ze information zat he wanted to know about U.A., so you have to keep doing it now. No one will know zat it was you; zey don't know you leaked the location of ze training camp when he asked and so zey won't know now. Just do this, please."

At that Toru turned away, her back to the tree she and hands to her chest as she thought back on all that they'd been through over the last year and change. The villains had somehow known that they'd be at the USJ back at the start of the year and then later they'd also known the location of the woods where they were having their training camp with the Wild, Wild, Pussycats and ambushed them there despite the fact that that location was supposed to be a top secret location. It would seem that the reason for that was, well, Toru didn't want to think about it but the evidence was clear as day.

"We don't want to cause harm to anyone, especially not your friends, but at zis point we're in too deep to stop or defy him, he's shown us what will happen if we do so we know he'll kill us if we don't do as he says." Aoyama's mother said oblivious to Toru's presence there. "Oh my darling boy, zere is no other option now zat he's out of prison, you have no choice!"

"Mama, papa." Aoyama said speaking for the first time since Toru had gotten there. "I, I don't want to do zis, I can't do zis anymore."

Even a he spoke and Toru listened she still struggling to accept that it was true, that the whole time that they'd been in class together, in the dorms together, that Aoyama was doing this behind their backs. It meant that all that they'd been through at the USJ and the summer training camp was his fault, that he'd…

"All we've ever wanted was what was best for you, Yuga." Aoyama's mother continued as Toru grappled with what was going on while still listening to the Aoyamas talk. "We wanted you to be free to live a happy life. We know zat you wanted to be like everyone else, you didn't want to be different because you were born without a Quirk. I remember how scared you were back zen. When we found out zat you were Quirkless we didn't want you to feel excluded by your classmates and friend or be seen as less than because you didn't have what zey did. You deserved ze chance to follow your dreams as well and so we did what we could to make zings better for you."

"Alas if we had known what kind of deal we were making and what was in store for us by reaching out to him to give you a Quirk we wouldn't have sought that devil out, I swear it." Aoyama's father said speaking for the first time, and if Toru had been paying attention she'd have realized that his French accent was significantly lighter than his wife's was. "We never would have let All for One give you Navel Laser. That put us in his debt forever and we can't stop paying it no matter how much we give him."

"Yes, it's too late for zat now." Aoyama's mother said removing her hands from his shoulders. "We're All for One's pawns now, nothing more. We either do everything zat he asks of us and provide him the information zat he desires or we are dead. We know he means it; we have to do zis for him."

As Aoyama's crying intensified, Toru knew what she had to do. Even though this was hard to accept, the truth was clear as day given that Aoyama and his parents had just confessed it, and so she had to get a teacher, or anyone who could help for that matter, right away and inform them of the situation going on and what she'd learned. They couldn't let the Aoyamas leak anymore information to All for One, not when they were so close to the final battle.

At that Toru turned and hurried away so she didn't hear Aoyama talking about how he hid what he'd done because if they knew the guilt of his betrayal would crush him or the fact that he thought that after Kamino and All for One's arrest that he could be free from the villain and thus be like everyone else but he couldn't be now that All for One was free again. Aoyama didn't want to do this but at the same time he also didn't want his parents to be killed by All for One. They understood and hated that he was paying for their mistakes but that Yuga knew what he had to do to.

Thankfully for Toru, that was all that she missed as she didn't have to go far to find someone. She'd only gone a short way through the forest as she made her way back to the dorms and campus before she ran into Midoriya.

Similar to why Toru had followed Aoyama, Izuku had been walking through the woods trying to see if Aoyama was around in them. He was looking for his friend because Izuku had noticed that Aoyama wasn't with them earlier, neither was Hagakure for that matter but with her skill set she could have been there for all he knew and if not she was likely doing stealth training anyway so he wasn't worried about her.

Besides, Aoyama had looked upset so Izuku was looking for him specifically, it was why he'd asked Ida if he could wander around after returning, and not concerned about Hagakure like he was with Aoyama. Of course it was as Izuku was thinking this that Hagakure ran into him, literally.

"Hagakure?" Izuku asked as the invisible girl slammed into him and staggered him back a step from the surprise, which also helped avoid him realizing that Hagakure had ran into him chest first which given her costume meant that she wasn't wearing anything so he'd been hit by her bare breasts. "What are you doing out here? Stealth…"

"Not now Midoriya!" Toru said her tone a hushed whisper and worry in her voice as she grabbed his biceps glad to have run into someone so soon and one of the people she knew could handle this situation with ease. "I just learned that there's a traitor at U.A., one who gave All for One and Shigaraki the information about the USJ and training camp. It's Aoyama!"

"Come again?" Izuku asked confused as he was currently looking for Aoyama. "Aoyama betrayed us? Are you sure about it?"

"Yes, I just heard him and his parents confirm it." Toru said turning and pointing off in the direction of where the Aoyamas were. "Apparently they had All for One give Aoyama a Quirk because apparently he was born Quirkless and now they're permanently in his debt. He's been using that debt to spy on us! Please, they're over there, we need to prevent them from contacting All for One."

"Ok, I'll check it out, go and find the teachers." Izuku said still trying to process what Hagakure was saying but deciding to trust her and go investigate. "They need to be informed about this."

Toru just nodded but she knew that with Midoriya now on the scene Aoyama would likely confess to him and if there was a fight he'd handle it. That said, Midoriya could hesitate because Aoyama was his friend and Midoriya was, well, Midoriya and it would be hard for him to attack Aoyama first so Toru doubled back as he headed off to investigate just in case she was needed because she was pretty sure that if it came to it she could handle Navel Laser.

Meanwhile, and unbeknownst to the other two, Marinette was up in a tree branch overlooking Toru and Midoriya's conversation her eyes wide. The reason for why she was up in the trees was simple, it helped train her enhanced constitution even more while the unstable and varying branches help make her lighter, more agile, and nimbler on her feet, which could prove essential in battle.

Marinette knew that she'd never be on Adrien's level, the cat aspect of his constitution ensured that, but Marinette could at least improve as much as possible so she did training like this whenever she could. Well that and she'd already pushed Lucky Charm and the Quirk Cure well past her limits that morning so she needed to give it a few hours to recover, and eat some actual food, before going at it again in the afternoon and keep pushing the duration, control, and range even further.

Of course that was only part of the training that Marinette had to go through. As such, rather than do weight training, that would be for after her afternoon post Quirk workout, she'd opted to do a little precision and finesse training in the woods.

To add too her training, Marinette had decided to follow Midoriya via the trees above him, leaping from branch to branch as silently and as stealthily as possible thus adding the personal challenge of not getting noticed by him to the whole training session thus increasing her focus on being light on her feet and smart with her movements. Admittedly, Marinette was also following Midoriya to make sure nothing bad happened to him because even with Ochaco's plea, Midoriya might not be able to walk around the campus in peace so this way she could try to ensure it.

Turned out that that had been a good idea given what Midoriya, and by extension Marinette, had just stumbled upon thanks to Toru. It also explained where Toru and Aoyama had been as Marinette had presumed that they were training elsewhere and had started earlier than the rest of them but apparently not, well technically Toru was training in a way as she'd used her stealth skills to spy on Aoyama, and as a result they'd learned of the latter's betrayal.

From there Marinette made sure to keep following Midoriya as he walked through the trees and to where Aoyama was with his two parents. She idly noted that they were as fancy in their styles as Aoyama was but right now that wasn't the issue as Midoriya stepped in a thick clump of grass that made a noticeable rustle and got the Aoyamas attention with the parents turning to look at him and Aoyama himself lowering his hands from his face which he'd been covering after his recent outburst. Despite this, they'd heard the last little bit of what Mrs. Aoyama had said regarding what Aoyama had to do.

"I, um, I just ran into Hagakure." Izuku said looking at the Aoyamas as Marinette crouched in on a sturdy branch above him all attention on Izuku at the moment. "She said that there's a traitor in our midst and that it's…"

"What are you talking about? How absurd to think such a thing!" Aoyama's mother said quickly taking a step towards Izuku while Marinette activated Lucky Charm so that she had a capture item that could take care of the Aoyamas ready to go in an instant, creating it behind her back so that the sparkles weren't noticed though as all the focus was on Izuku no one was looking at the tree tops. "The girl must have misheard us; my Japanese may be fluent but it is not my first language so my French accent no doubt caused issues with what I was saying."

"No, that can't be the case." Izuku said shaking his head, thanks to knowing Dupain-Cheng he had no issue understanding heavily French accented, fluent, Japanese. "Your accent is fine; I can understand clearly and if I can then Hagakure certainly can."

"Of course it would be you Midoriya." Aoyama said. "I…"

Aoyama couldn't say anything more as his voice caught in his throat. The other day when they'd all called out to Midoriya to help him and tried to bring him back to U.A., he'd been the only one who'd not done so, or wanted to do so at least. All Aoyama had done was watch desperately as they reached out to Midoriya, pleading with him, and telling him how much he meant to them but he'd stayed silent. How could he say anything after all he'd done especially now that All for One free once more and making another request of them.

"Aoyama, whatever's going on, let's talk." Izuku said taking a step forward. "We can work this out, I know it. Just t…"

"Stop it!" Aoyama said forcefully causing Izuku to stop as his own tortured thoughts plagued him. "Don't come closer!"

"No, listen to me!" Izuku said cutting Aoyama from his thoughts about wanting to be equal to his amazing classmates from day one. "It's no accident that I'm here right now. I came here to look for you because I could tell that you were upset about something so I wanted to see what it was so that I can help you. You were the only one in the class who looked sad after everything. Let's talk, please."

That got to Aoyama, Midoriya had noticed that he alone looked sad after they'd retrieved Midoriya and brought him back to U.A. and now Midoriya had come looking for him. It stirred up a lot in him and he had to ask.

"The USJ and the training camp?" Aoyama asked as the wind blew through the trees. "You want to know about them, right?"

"Yuga don't!" Aoyama's mother exclaimed before switching to French, which unbeknownst to her a fellow native speaker was in a nearby tree so understood her words perfectly. "Please my son, we can't get caught or found out. If we are caught then we're as good as dead! All of us! You know what All for One will do to us! He can't be crossed or defied!"

"I led them to us on both occasions." Aoyama said sticking with Japanese and ignoring his mother's pleas. "What Hagakure said is true, I am nothing more than a revolting villain who's no better than the villains that we've been facing all year."

"No Yuga!" Aoyama's mother said as she and her husband moved in to grab their son and turn him around.

"Run!" Aoyama's father said.

They turned with him, both grabbing one of his arms and dragging him with them as they tried to run away even though it would be futile against someone like Midoriya. As they did Aoyama thought back on how their lives had led them to this very moment.

It had all started with how dismayed his parents had been when he was born without a Quirk. His parents came from wealth, both of them, and as children they had known nothing but love and happiness so it was possible that they were more worried about him being different then he was, at least at first. That was why, when his future looked uncertain, they did something desperate for his sake and to ensure that he was happy.

What they did was search out to see if the rumors about the man who could give people Quirks was true. They were and eventually they found All for One who came to them and gave Aoyama Navel Laser. Alas the man hadn't cared about compatibility and had cruelly given Aoyama a Quirk that wasn't a good fit for his body and caused issues. However, his parents got him a belt to stabilize it so that he wasn't suffering anymore.

They had gone through so much to give him a better life all because he feared being different from everyone else because he was Quirkless. At first his dream was born out of a desire to confirm but it morphed into him wanting to do what his parents had done for him, he wanted to help others and to bring joy to other people's lives just as his parents had brought joy to his. That was how Aoyama wanted to give back to the world.

Alas that had been when the debt that his parents owed had come due as All for One had learned that All Might would be a teacher at U.A. so he made sure that his parents saw to it that Aoyama attended the school. Once there All for One had wanted to know when the class would be unsupervised such as when they'd be at the USJ. Then, after that had failed, he wanted to know more about the summer training camp. Now he wanted to know if Izuku Midoriya returned to U.A., and if so then Aoyama was to get him alone and lure him out into the open for All for One.

On top of all this there had been Midoriya's letter. When Aoyama had read it and found out that Midoriya was just like him, that they had both been born Quirkless making them the same, well…

"I couldn't stand it!" Aoyama shouted, speaking his thoughts aloud as he pulled himself free of his parents and turned to Midoriya, his hands over the back of his head and his actions triggering Izuku's Danger Sense Quirk as he ran after Aoyama while Marinette tensed in the tree ready to leap and capture all three as she wasn't sure that Midoriya would be able to react fast enough to stop a friend in need. "I was filled with despair!"

"Aoyama!" Izuku shouted at the same time as Aoyama shouted at him. "Don't do this! You…"

Before Izuku could finish, and as he was activating One for All, Aoyama fired off his Navel Laser right at Izuku. Aoyama had the drop on Izuku in that moment Navel Laser would reach first and Izuku was getting ready to try and block it when Hagakure, who had moved to his side earlier but he'd not noticed as he was focused on Aoyama, suddenly leapt in the way of Aoyama's Quirk taking the laser to her chest and then refracting it to the side and out of her body.

"Did you forget that my body refracts light?" Toru said as she landed on the ground, her body smoking, gloves scorched, and blue twinkles around it as for the first time ever her physical body was actually visible though still see through but they could now see the exact shape of her and all her curves. "Aoyama, we all could have died at the USJ and the training camp, several of us including myself were hospitalized at the latter while Midoriya was hospitalized at both! The entire country is falling apart around and through all through all of this you just sat in class like you weren't involved in what was going on?"

As she spoke her body reacted to warping Navel Laser, which clearly worked differently the how normal light worked, and slowly Toru's face became visible, her pale skin clear, her shoulder length chartreuse hair fluttering and tears streaming from her big round eyes, her teal and yellow pupils clear as day for Aoyama to see. However, all that wasn't really relevant at the moment because she was in full rant as she shouted at Aoyama as he continued to fall back from his classmates.

"How could you sleep at night in the same dorm as us and be under the same roof after how you almost got us killed, twice?" Toru asked as she shouted while Aoyama yelled his own guilt and despair overwhelming him. "How could you look any of us in the eye after what you did? Well? Answer me Aoyama!"

"You don't get…" Aoyama's father began as he rushed over to his son.

"He's not…" His mother said at the same time next to her husband.

However, before they finish two odd sounding shots rang out from above and behind Midoriya and Toru and slammed into Aoyama's parents' chests knocking them back and onto the grass. Then, before anyone could process the distinctive ladybug pattern to the capture putty that had expanded on impact to cover their arms as well and was now hard and pinning the Aoyamas to the ground where they couldn't move, there was the sound a branch snapping and suddenly a yo-yo with the same pattern shot down and wrapped around Aoyama's arms all while Blackwhip was manifesting from Izuku.

Marinette had of course chosen that time to act by firing the capture gun that Luck Charm had created for her and capturing the senior Aoyamas before leaping out of the tree with enough force to break the branch off and send it crashing to the ground while she used her yo-yo to ensnare Aoyama. Then she yanked him up into the air and off his feet as he let out a yell while pulling herself to him at the same tome so that a split second later her knee slammed into his chest with enough force to crack his chest plate and ring out with a boom.

Aoyama let out a gasp as the air was driven from his lungs before he and Marinette crashed back to the ground. Aoyama landed hard on his back, gasping again as he was pinned there under Marinette's left knee, her right foot on the ground so that she was effectively crouching on him and the string of her yo-yo taught in her right hand as she held it up keeping him pinned. She glared down at Aoyama, tears in her bluebell eyes at his betrayal as she leant forward while he stared up at her, eye wide and his own tears still flowing.

"Traître." Marinette whispered so that only Aoyama could hear, the single French word harsh and filled with all her emotions that she'd been holding in check ever since learning about his betrayal and then hearing him confirm it.

"Yuga, ne dis rien d'autre!" Aoyama's mother shouted out unable to see him but telling her son in French to not say anything else before sticking to their native tongue so that only he would understand, at least she thought but she wasn't thinking straight at the moment. "Tu n'es pas mauvais, c'est notre faute, on peut trouver une solution. Reste en Français, ils ne peuvent pas…"

"Ne t'en fais pas!" Marinette spat out telling Mrs. Aoyama to not bother sticking with French as she switched back to her native tongue and looked up from her position, though didn't get up from it, and at Aoyama's mother as she lifted her head, eyes wide, and stared at Marinette who continued in French. "Ton fils ne t'a-t-il pas dit qu'il avait deux camarades de classe de Paris?"

"Oui, Yuga t'a mentionné." Aoyama's mother said confirming that Aoyama had told them about two French classmates. "Il était…"

"Bien." Marinette said cutting Mrs. Aoyama off with the single word before she let out a rapid string of French at Aoyama's parents the way only a native speaker could, her accent telling the Aoyamas that she was from Paris. "Alors tu sais que tu ne peux pas planifier avec moi ici. J'ai entendu ce que tu as dit, que vous êtes tous aussi bons que morts, que All for One vous tuerait, mais pensais-tu que peut-être nous laisserions pas cela arriver? Nous sommes des héros, nous trouverons un moyen de t'aider, que tu le veuilles ou non."

"Mais…" Aoyama's mother began.

"Faire taire!" Marinette shouted glaring at Aoyama's mother as she told the older woman to shut up, which she did, and Marinette nodded at that before she turned her head and looked at Midoriya and Toru who were standing there staring at her wide eyed at her arrival, Toru still just about visible and switching back to Japanese, her French accent noticeable but not as thick as Aoyama's mother's was. "Oh, Toru, for some reason I can see your face now. It has to be from warping Navel Laser, you're really cute by the way, you know that?"

"Huh?" Toru asked but before she could say anymore or process what Marinette had said Izuku stepped forward and looked down at Aoyama tears in his own eyes.

"Aoyama, it's over, Hagakure has freed you." Izuku said as Marinette turned back to glare at Aoyama but any harshness was gone now that it was over. "Do you see that? You don't have to hurt anyone else from now on. It's done, you can't get away so please, stand down and let us help. I don't know what Dupain-Cheng said to your mother but I'm sure it was something similar."

"It was kinda that, I basically told them that we're heroes and that we'll find a way help the whether they want it or not." Marinette said paraphrasing what she'd said before adding. "They're not bound to All for One while we're here to help them."

"You're right they're not." Izuku said knowing that Dupain-cheng would get it as tears flowed over his eyes. "So Aoyama, please, just stop fighting. We're going to bring you and your parents in and then we'll work this out, I know it."

That was it, Aoyama was still crying but the fight had left him, not that he could put up much of fight anymore, especially against two of the strongest in his class, and he surrendered along with his parents. They'd found the traitor, caught him, and prevented him from doing what All for One wanted him to do and now it was time to sort this out.

Naturally, that meant getting the teachers and police present at U.A., and getting all the details about their betrayal from the Aoyamas. This was a mess but little did they know that this single discovery would, despite the pain it cause, be the catalysts that would spark the final plan as Aoyama and his parents were hauled up and formally taken into custody.

I think that that's a good place to end this chapter on, don't you? The U.A. traitor has been unearthed and captured but with some changes now that Marinette was part of it. For those wondering, a rough translation of what the long French spiel that Marinette gave is: "Then you know that you can't plan with me here. I heard what you said, that you all are as good as dead, that All for One would kill you, but did you think that maybe we wouldn't let that happen? We're heroes, we'll find a way to help you whether you want it or not." Anyway, there's not much more to say on this chapter, we all know what it would entail and now it's time to deal with the aftermath of Aoyama's betrayal. That's all that I have for this chapter so I'll leave it off here.
