Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I welcome you to my Rwby/My Hero Academia Story.

But before you all begin, there are some things that I like to explain to all of you first.

The First thing on the list is that this is the first time I don't use an OC Character.

Second, I haven't watched RWBY or My Hero Acamedia for quite some time. But I do know the ins and outs of what's going down with the two.

Third, for those who might ask who's going to pair up with Neo. I don't have any plans on having her paired up with a character in the story. I do plan on having her form certain friendships with characters. Feel free to suggest who gets along with her.

And the last part of the list, She is not, I repeat NOT, going to become a villain in the story. I'm aware of Neo's nature as a Criminal in RWBY, but I've decided that she won't take this path in this universe. That is final

~Prologue~

After Neo amicably bids farewell to her former adversaries, she dives into the tree and undergoes ascension to move past her loss of her closest partner as well as the harsh treatment of her childhood.

Once Neo achieves ascension, the Blacksmith was quite amazed by what she wanted. A Fresh and Happier Start in Her Life without her past Remnant going alongside her.

Thus, they lead her to a portal and stated that it leads to a world where she may forget her past in Remnant and find the happiness she now sought for.

Neo agrees to the Blacksmith's words, politely thanks them with a bow, and disappears as she walks through the portal.

"May you find what you're searching for," The Blacksmith encouraged as the portal closes before them,

Next World

After being transmigrated through the portal, Neo was now a baby and carried in the arms of her new birth mother. As she opened her eyes, she noticed that her mother has brown hair and blue eyes.

As for Neo herself, she possesses brown hair and heterochromatic eyes. Particularly, her left eye is brown, and her right eye is pink. Something that the doctors deemed this condition to be quite rare, but the mother didn't mind her condition as she gently embraced her child and smiled.

The warmth of a mother's embrace puts Neo at ease as she closed her eyes and rests against her mother.

Then, she gave the perfect name for her beloved daughter, "Neo Valentina,"

Short Timeskip

Neo has grown to the young age of four and the doctors revealed yet another one of her medical conditions to her mother. They revealed that Neo was born mute, therefore she had undergone a few alternative lessons on communication.

Thus, Neo's mother understood every conversation she engaged with her daughter.

As for Neo, she adapted to her home rather well and often spends time with her mother or watching television. One channel in particular showcased what looked like a muscular man emerging from the flames laughing and on his back were several people that lost consciousness from the flames.

The people on the other end of the camera were cheering as they praised the Number 1 Hero, All Might, for his unwavering tenacity and heroism to those in need.

As the hero was showered with praises, Neo seemingly smiled while his mother walks in, "He's quite brave, don't you think? A great hero if you'll ever see one,"

Neo turns to her mother and noticed her sorrowful expression. For Neo's Father wasn't able to attend her due to a villain incident that cost him his life. He wasn't one of those registered heroes, but he did intervene with the villain long enough for other heroes to arrive at the scene and apprehend the villain before he caused any further casualties at his workplace.

In other words, he died a hero...

With that in mind, Neo goes off of the couch, rushes to her mother, and hugged her leg as a means to comfort her. She looks down and smiles before lifting her up and holding her close, "Let's go and eat already. We don't want to miss your first day in class, right?"

Neo nods and the two ate breakfast together...

Kindergarten

As they arrived, Neo's mother drops her off at her kindergarten teacher and went to work. The teachers were made aware of her condition and properly treated her in class.

Once she walked right in, the Teachers proceed with a simple introduction, "Good morning class! Today, we have a new special classmate attending our class. So why don't we all say hello to Neo Valentino,"

"Hello, Neo Valentino!" The Entire Class welcomed her, and Neo just waved her hand in response,

"Now that you them, why don't you sit over there," The Teacher said and Neo nods as she goes to her designated table,

The first half in kindergarten passed rather well, but due to her mutism and heterochromatic condition, her classmates don't interact with Neo as they considered her weird especially when they assumed that she has yet to manifest a quirk of her own.

At this age, Quirks would manifest within the individual and become special from that point on. Some of Neo's classmates received popularity after they've gain their own quirks. But wasn't going to give up hope just yet.

Then came recess and her class gets to play at the kindergarten playground.

Playground

Neo may not be sociable, but she did follow her classmates whenever recess comes. She would seek some shade from the sun and watch her classmates play all manners of fun.

If not for her mutism, she would have asked if she could join them. But when one of her classmates proposed to play hide and seek. Everyone goes with the idea and one of them decided to approach Neo, "Hey, do you want to play with us?"

Neo stares at her classmate for a moment, then nods as she joins in on the circle. With several players, two were selected as seekers while the rest became hiders.

As soon as they started counting, Neo would hide behind the tree where she usually goes for shade and stood there. But she wasn't the only one as another classmate of hers hides next to her before the seekers finished counting.

Once finished, the seekers began their search, and already a few of them were caught by them.

Neo was nervous, not because she would be easily found behind the tree but also the fact that this is the first time she played with her classmates. Hence, she made an effort to ensure that the seekers do not find her.

But due to her nervousness and efforts to not be found...

She uses her Quirk for the very first time...

Without her knowledge, she and her classmate suddenly camouflage themselves within the environment and looked like they disappeared into thin air.

When one of the seekers checked the back of the tree, he doesn't find anyone hiding behind the tree. As he left, the illusion dispels itself and revealed Neo, who seems relieved, and her classmate, who was dumbfounded by this discovery.

"Neo, that was," Before he could say, he stops when he saw Neo putting her finger onto her lips and understood that he needed to keep quiet in order to not get caught,

Thanks to her newfound quirk, Neo would camouflage her classmate and herself whenever one of the two seekers try to search around the tree. As soon as recess had ended, the two seekers gave up and asked to be revealed.

When Neo and her classmate appeared, everyone was shocked as they were hiding behind the tree all along. The ones who were shocked the most were the seekers as they approached them, "Hey, how did you behind that tree for so long? There's no way you could have hide there without us knowing,"

Neo gives one particular response, and that was her putting a finger onto her lips and one of her eyes closes. Clarifying that it was a secret much to her classmates' newfound curiosity.

As soon as a teacher came to call them all, everyone followed Neo as they wanted to know how she hid so well. They even tried to ask the boy who hide with her, but he told them that it was a secret and asked Neo for it instead.

By the end of the day, The Children were picked up by their respective parents and Neo's mother soon learned that her daughter has been treated well as her classmates said their goodbyes to her.

As they walked home, Neo's mother converses with her daughter, "How did it go?"

Neo gives a smile, and her mother giggled since she was pleased by her daughter's experience in kindergarten.

The Following Day

Neo's Mother went to the kitchen area and prepared today's breakfast. Unbeknownst to her, Neo snuck up behind her and tugged on her skirt. Which gave her a fright as she came out of nowhere, "Neo! you startled me,"

"Sorry," Neo signed,

"It's alright," Neo's Mother said, "Why don't you sit, I'm almost done cooking breakfast today,"

Neo nods and subsequently disappears into several particles, this causes her mother to widen her eyes at the revelation that her daughter now possesses a quirk.

When she turns to the table, she soon witnessed Neo appear out of thin air and patiently waited for the food to be served. In just a few seconds, she goes back to her cooking and served her daughter with today's breakfast.

While Neo ate her breakfast, her mother bewilderedly stared at her daughter. For she had never dreamed of her daughter would receive such a gift for these years. It also reminded her of her husband's words during her pregnancy.

'No matter what child we bring upon this world. I know that they'll be inspired to do great things in life! Beyond anything the world will see!'

The very words her husband said repeated themselves while Neo enjoyed her breakfast. But after she finished, only then she realized her mother who shed tears on the table.

Concerned, Neo jumps off of her chair, went to her mother's side, and tugged on her sleeve a few times. The latter snaps out of her trance and faces her daughter with teary eyes, but after she wiped them off she gives a reassuring smile, "It's alright, Neo-chan. I'm just... happy to have such a wonderful child,"

Neo was a bit dumbfounded by this praise but was touched nonetheless. She then hops onto her chair and hugged her teary mother. The latter hugs her back and continues to shed tears of joy over her special daughter.

Kindergarten

It was another day at the Kindergarten, but during recess, she and her new friend decided to play a little trick on their friends by portraying Neo as a great magician.

First off, she picked up what looked like a large piece of cloth and spread it onto her friend's head. Second, she grabbed a piece of paper and rolled it up to look a lot like a magician's wand.

Not only were her classmates watching, but also her teachers as Neo performs her magic trick.

Since she couldn't talk, Neo raised three fingers and counted down before waving her paper wand and lightly tapping on the blanket. Then she grabs a hold of the blanket and unveils her trick, which results in her friend's sudden disappearance.

Her classmates were in awe of her trick and the same goes for the teachers as they all clapped for Neo's magic trick.

"Wait, where did he go?" A Classmate questioned, and the rest followed suit with these questions

Neo giggled, grabbed the right corners of the blanket, and nudged her head towards the left side of the blanket. Which meant that she needed an assistant, and her classmates seemed thrilled about it.

The teachers controlled the ever-ecstatic class and deliberately assigned Neo's assistant much to the others' disappointment. Once all four corners were held, Neo demonstrates the instructions by pulling all corners and raising it above their heads.

Then she lowers it down on the exact same area where her friend disappeared. Normally, the blanket would have been placed over her friend's head and revealed the trick.

But Neo's Newfound Quirk kept the trick hidden as they saw the center of the blanket fall on the floor. Once it reached the floor, Neo clears her throat to get her assistant's attention and nudge her head three times as her countdown.

The two slowly lifted the blanket and everyone started gasping as they saw her friend's feet appearing, then his waist, then his shoulders, and finally his head. Everyone went wild as they clapped their hands at the Neo's magic trick.

With that, she soon became a popular student in Kindergarten and they wouldn't stop asking her on how she did it. To which Neo responds with a finger against her lip and winked her right eye much to their dissatisfaction.

Those years were pleasant as she befriended the entire class with her 'magic' tricks and her participation in playgrounds.

But after her years in kindergarten had ended, she would soon enter the next phase of her life.

~End of Prologue~

I'll be ending the prologue here. but before you all go, I would like to let you all know that this story is just experimental.

I'll listen to every suggestion, criticism, and opinion from you and try to make it better when I've decided to update the story further.

Up next, the name for Neo's Mother is something I haven't thought of just yet. Let me know what kind of suggestions you all have in mind.

And lastly, the Neo Valentino is something I've thought of from the get-go. Don't worry about the name, Neopolitan, not appearing in the story. For I still plan on using that name in the future.
