Prologue

The era of the great heroes has passed, but the world still needs its protectors. The world has watched as icons like All Might and Endeavor made their mark on history, but now it is the younger generation's time to rise. Heroes may retire, but the need for justice never fades.

In the bustling city of Musutafu, U.A. High School stands as the beacon of hope for aspiring heroes, a place where the legacy of the past is passed on to the future. Here, in this hallowed institution, a new wave of young students fights to make their mark, each with their own dream, their own reasons for pursuing the life of a hero. And among them stands Attishiro Sato, a young man whose quiet intensity and unrelenting determination make him a rising star in the new generation.

Attishiro's journey began in a peaceful suburb, where his parents nurtured a love for justice and compassion. They encouraged him to dream big, to be a hero—just like the ones he admired. Life was simple, and Attishiro believed he could follow in the footsteps of his idols. But that world crumbled the day villains attacked Jaku City. In the chaos, his parents died protecting him, leaving Attishiro an orphan, scarred by both the destruction around him and the loss of his family. His parents' dreams had been shattered, and the boy who once believed in the bright future of a hero was left adrift, alone in a cruel world.

After the tragedy, Attishiro was placed in a government-run orphanage, his life marked by grief and survival. But even in the darkest corners of his heart, a spark of hope remained—the dream his parents had for him. When the renowned scientist Dr. Murasaki arrived with promises of a better future, Attishiro saw an opportunity to honor their memory. But Dr. Murasaki's kindness was a lie. Beneath his compassionate exterior, the doctor was obsessed with creating "perfect heroes," using Attishiro and others as lab subjects in his twisted experiments.

Years of torment followed, and Attishiro's body and mind were pushed to their limits. His siblings perished one by one, victims of Dr. Murasaki's cruel tests. Attishiro survived, bearing the weight of their loss and the horrors he endured. His quirk, once simple, was refined by the doctor's experiments, turning it into something far more powerful, but at a great personal cost. When the authorities finally raided Dr. Murasaki's lab, Attishiro was freed—but the world he reentered felt alien, and he was haunted by the ghosts of those who didn't make it.

Faced with the choice of a quiet life or the chance to pursue the dream his parents had for him, Attishiro chose U.A. High. Though scarred, he was determined to become the hero he had always dreamed of, to protect others from the pain he had experienced. Now a recommended student at U.A., Attishiro is known for his unwavering resolve and intense drive. His quirk is powerful, his heart is heavy with loss, but he has one goal: to become the symbol of hope his parents believed he could be.

In this new era, the world is watching as the next generation of heroes rises to take their place. Some, like Kaito Todoroki, the son of Shoto Todoroki, already command respect with their prodigious skills. Others, like Mika Midoriya, the daughter of Izuku Midoriya, bear the weight of their parents' legacy but push forward with their own unique vision of heroism. And then there is Attishiro—quiet, focused, and driven by the pain of his past. His scars may never fully fade, but he carries them with him, transforming them into a source of strength. He has chosen his path, and he will stop at nothing to see it through.

The legacy of the past may have faltered, but the future of heroism is alive in the hands of the next generation. And Attishiro Sato is determined to prove that even from the darkest of origins, a true hero can rise.

Chapter One: Sparks of the Future

The morning was crisp and clear as Attishiro stood at the gates of U.A. High School, heart pounding. This was the moment he had dreamed of for so long—the entrance exam that could set him on the path to becoming a hero. The towering, sleek buildings of U.A. loomed over him, and his mind buzzed with excitement and nerves. He took a deep breath, steadying himself as he scanned the crowds of hopeful students around him. They all wore the same look of anticipation, some nervously chattering in groups, others, like him, standing alone, deep in thought.

Lost in his own nerves, Attishiro didn't notice the figure approaching him until she was almost in front of him. A girl with short, wavy dark hair and a bright smile looked at him with curiosity.

"Hey there! First time here too?" she asked, extending a hand. "I'm Koyomi! Nice to meet you."

Attishiro blinked, a little taken aback by her friendliness. He shook her hand, offering a small smile. "Yeah, first time. I'm Attishiro."

"Nice! I mean, I guess that's obvious, huh?" Koyomi laughed, her voice full of excitement. "So, what kind of quirk do you have?"

Attishiro hesitated. He was used to keeping his abilities to himself—talking about his quirk always reminded him of the painful memories of his past. But Koyomi's openness was contagious, and he decided to give her a straightforward answer.

"Divine Thunder," he said, summoning a small, crackling spark in his palm. "It lets me generate and control lightning."

Koyomi's eyes widened, impressed. "Whoa, that's incredible! You're gonna be a tough one to beat out here. Mine's called Crystal Bloom—I can grow and control crystals."

She extended her hand, and shimmering crystals began to form across her knuckles, sparkling in the sunlight. They grew into intricate, flower-like patterns, delicate yet solid.

"Looks like we both pack a punch," Attishiro said, feeling a little more at ease. He was about to say something else when a loud announcement echoed across the courtyard, directing all exam participants to the testing area.

"Guess it's showtime," Koyomi said, her smile turning a bit more serious. "See you in there, Attishiro. Don't hold back!"

As she walked off, Attishiro felt a surge of determination. Meeting someone as friendly and powerful as Koyomi made him even more motivated to give it his all.

The testing area was massive, filled with mechanical obstacles and the intimidating sight of various "villain" robots—the obstacles they'd need to defeat to pass the exam. Attishiro joined the other applicants in the arena, looking around as he tried to spot Koyomi again. But before he could locate her, another student caught his eye.

A boy with jet-black hair and a reserved demeanor was stretching in preparation for the test, his sharp gaze analyzing the surroundings. Attishiro approached, curiosity getting the best of him.

"Hey, are you ready for this?" Attishiro asked, trying to break the ice.

The boy turned, his face calm and unreadable. "Yeah. My name's Hiroto. I'm not really here to make friends, but good luck."

Attishiro raised an eyebrow, taken aback by Hiroto's bluntness. But he respected his focus. "Good luck to you too, Hiroto. I'm Attishiro."

Hiroto gave a short nod and turned back to the testing field, apparently done with small talk. Attishiro figured that maybe Hiroto just needed some time to warm up. He looked around once more, noticing a few other potential classmates.

Not too far off, he spotted a girl with flowing pink hair, bouncing on her toes with boundless energy. She looked like she was more excited than nervous, practically radiating confidence. Attishiro caught her eye, and she grinned, waving enthusiastically.

"Hi! I'm Mizuki! Do you think we'll have to face any villains in there? I mean, I'd love to try, but I think robots are the only challenge today!" She laughed, a sound that was both cheerful and slightly unsettling, like she was genuinely looking forward to the chaos ahead.

Attishiro laughed along, feeling the tension in his shoulders ease a little. "I think just robots. Guess they don't want us all in recovery rooms on day one."

"Well, that's a bit of a letdown," Mizuki joked, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Anyway, see you out there! I hope you're fast, or I'll be stealing all the points!"

With a final grin, she bounded off, leaving Attishiro standing there, his spirits lifted by her energy.

As the entrance exam began, Attishiro felt a surge of adrenaline. The arena was suddenly filled with the sounds of battle as students unleashed their quirks against the villain robots, aiming to score points by disabling as many as possible.

Attishiro quickly spotted a group of robots nearby and unleashed his Divine Thunder, sending a burst of lightning into the midst of them. The blue lightning crackled and arced, tearing through the robots as they shuddered and collapsed. He grinned, feeling the rush of power as he moved forward, looking for his next target.

Just as he was about to launch another attack, he saw a flash of crystals forming across the ground, wrapping around a nearby robot and crushing it. Koyomi was at his side, her face set in concentration as she manipulated her quirk with precision.

"Looks like we're working together!" she called, her voice full of excitement. "Think you can keep up?"

"Try me," he shot back, grinning as they moved in sync. The two of them tore through the robots with ease, their quirks complementing each other in a way that made them an unstoppable team. Koyomi's crystals provided barriers and traps, while Attishiro's lightning cut through any robot that got too close.

In the midst of the chaos, he caught sight of Hiroto, who was using his Gravity Well quirk to manipulate the field, drawing robots into dense clusters and crushing them under increased gravity. Despite his quiet demeanor, Hiroto fought with remarkable skill and focus, taking down robots with efficient, calculated moves.

Mizuki was off to one side, her Mist Form quirk allowing her to slip between the robots undetected before solidifying to launch a surprise attack. She moved with an almost playful ease, her laughter ringing out as she dismantled the machines.

Attishiro couldn't help but feel a surge of pride and excitement. These people—his potential classmates—were already proving to be incredible fighters. He felt a kinship with them, even if he'd only just met them.

The test wore on, with each of them pushing themselves to their limits. Attishiro felt the strain of his quirk as he continued to discharge lightning, each blast leaving him a bit more drained. But he wasn't going to stop. Not until he'd given everything he had.

Just as he and Koyomi finished off another wave, a loud siren blared, signaling the arrival of the massive, high-point robot—the final obstacle of the exam.

The students around them froze, watching as the towering machine lumbered into view. It was far larger than any of the other robots, with thick armor and a powerful build that seemed almost indestructible.

Attishiro felt a moment of hesitation, but then he saw Koyomi at his side, her face set with determination. "We've got this, Attishiro. Together."

He nodded, steeling himself. "Yeah. Let's show them what we're made of."

With Koyomi at his side, Attishiro gathered every ounce of energy he had left. He would prove himself today—not just to the pro heroes watching, but to his new friends, his future classmates.

Of course! Let's continue the story as Attishiro and his new friends face the final challenge of the entrance exam.

The massive, high-point robot loomed over the arena, its shadow casting a long stretch across the battlefield. Around it, students either braced themselves to fight or, intimidated, took a few steps back, unsure how to handle such a massive opponent. Attishiro glanced at Koyomi, who was already taking a ready stance, and he could feel the electric anticipation in the air.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked her, noticing her hands trembling slightly. But her eyes stayed sharp.

"Of course! We can't give up now," Koyomi replied with a fierce grin. "If we take this thing down, we'll definitely pass!"

Attishiro nodded, feeling his own confidence solidify. This was the moment they had to prove themselves.

Just then, a voice called out from nearby. "Hey! Need a little extra firepower?"

Attishiro turned to see Hiroto approaching them, his expression still as serious as ever but with a glint of determination in his eyes. Behind him, Mizuki bounded forward, a wide grin on her face as she spun in a little circle, already excited by the challenge.

"Glad to see you all here!" Mizuki said, cracking her knuckles as her body began to shift into a misty form. "Let's see if this tin can is ready for us."

The four of them exchanged nods, forming an unspoken pact. Together, they could take this thing down.

They quickly strategized. Koyomi would use her crystal structures to immobilize the robot's legs, preventing it from moving too freely. Hiroto's gravity manipulation would help slow down its arms, making it harder for the robot to strike back. Mizuki would keep it distracted with her Mist Form, darting around and confusing its targeting systems. And Attishiro, with his Divine Thunder, would deliver the heavy hits they needed to wear it down.

"Alright, let's do this!" Attishiro shouted, his hands crackling with blue lightning as he focused his energy.

Koyomi acted first, summoning crystals from the ground that wrapped around the robot's legs, anchoring it in place. The robot struggled, the gears in its legs grinding against the solid crystal restraints, but Koyomi held strong, her face scrunched in concentration.

Meanwhile, Hiroto focused his quirk on the robot's upper body, creating a gravitational pull that weighed down its arms and slowed its movements. The robot's arms strained against the invisible force, making its attempts to strike slower and less accurate.

"Alright, Mizuki, go!" Attishiro called out.

Mizuki dashed forward, her body shifting into a smoky mist that danced around the robot's sensors, keeping its focus scattered. The robot swung wildly, trying to catch her, but she was too quick, reforming just out of reach before turning back into mist and zipping away again.

With the robot's attention divided, Attishiro seized his moment. Channeling his quirk, he summoned a powerful surge of lightning, aiming directly at the robot's core. Blue arcs of electricity shot out from his hands, hitting the machine with a blast that lit up the entire arena.

The robot staggered, sparks flying as the lightning short-circuited its systems. Attishiro gritted his teeth, pouring every ounce of power he had into the attack. He could feel his energy draining, his body protesting against the strain, but he kept pushing, refusing to back down.

But even with all their efforts, the robot wasn't defeated yet. It let out a mechanical roar, raising one of its arms despite Hiroto's gravity field, and brought it down toward Koyomi with terrifying speed.

"Koyomi, look out!" Attishiro shouted.

Koyomi gasped, her focus breaking just as the robot's arm came crashing down. But before it could make contact, Hiroto threw himself forward, expanding his gravitational field to pull Koyomi out of harm's way. She stumbled back, safe, and looked at Hiroto with a mixture of shock and gratitude.

"Thanks, Hiroto," she whispered, her face pale but determined.

"Don't mention it," he replied, his usual stoicism faltering for a moment with a small smile.

Realizing they still had one more shot, Mizuki darted up to Attishiro, her eyes wide with excitement. "Give it one more blast, lightning boy! We've got your back!"

Attishiro nodded, gathering every last bit of energy he had left. His whole body pulsed with blue lightning, the power surging through him almost overwhelming. With a fierce shout, he unleashed a massive bolt directly at the robot's core, pushing his quirk to its absolute limit.

The lightning struck the robot head-on, the force so intense that the entire arena lit up. The high-point robot let out a final, shuddering roar as the electricity tore through its circuits. Then, with a resounding crash, it toppled to the ground, defeated.

As the dust settled, Attishiro stood there, breathing heavily but feeling an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. His whole body ached, but he couldn't help the grin that spread across his face. They'd done it—together.

When the dust settled and the exam was officially over, Attishiro and his new friends made their way to the waiting area, each of them exhausted but exhilarated. They sat together, catching their breath, and exchanged proud smiles.

"That was incredible," Koyomi said, her eyes shining. "I don't think I could've done it without you guys."

"Same here," Attishiro replied, glancing around at each of them. "We really made a great team."

Mizuki leaned back, folding her arms behind her head as she grinned. "I don't know about you all, but I'm definitely getting in after that."

Hiroto nodded, his usual stoicism replaced by a rare smile. "You all did well. If this is what it's like to work with you, then… I think we're going to make a strong class."

As they laughed and congratulated each other, the announcement came on, calling the students to gather for the results. Attishiro's heart raced as they walked together toward the results board, the future suddenly feeling brighter than ever.

The crowd buzzed with excitement and nerves as the students gathered around the results board. Attishiro held his breath, scanning the list, and then—a spark of recognition. His name was on the board. He'd passed.

Beside him, Koyomi let out a cheer, her voice filled with joy as she spotted her own name. Mizuki whooped loudly, slinging an arm around Hiroto, who looked both pleased and slightly embarrassed.

Attishiro felt a surge of pride as he looked around at his new friends. He hadn't just passed the entrance exam—he'd gained a team, a group of people he felt connected to, each of them driven by the same dream. As they walked out of U.A. that day, laughing and celebrating, he knew that this was only the beginning.

And whatever challenges lay ahead, he was ready. With friends like these, he knew they could face anything together
