The people in the hidden leaf village mourned for the death of the third hokage as they held a funeral for their hero who risked their life to defeat orochimaru after the events of the chunin exams. Naruto who had been apart of Hiruzens life felt depressed over the loss of a father figure who had been there for him when he was alone. Naruto knew he would have to be stronger and continue his training so he can definitely protect those he cared about so something like this wouldn't happen.

In the dimly lit meeting room, the council sat in tense silence. The heavy air of recent loss still weighed on everyone after the death of the Third Hokage. Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane exchanged concerned glances, while Danzo Shimura, seated at the far end, steepled his fingers thoughtfully.

Homura broke the silence, "We need to act swiftly in appointing the next Hokage. The village can't remain leaderless, especially after such an invasion."

Koharu nodded, her voice steady. "There are many candidates. The village needs strength, stability… someone with experience."

Danzo cleared his throat, capturing the attention of the room. His voice was low and deliberate. "Experience is important. But more than that, we need someone who understands the threats we face. And there is no greater threat than the Nine-Tails."

Homura raised an eyebrow. "You speak of Naruto Uzumaki?"

"Yes," Danzo continued, eyes narrowing. "My ANBU have reported that during the invasion, Naruto unleashed a portion of the Nine-Tails' power. Two tails' worth, to be precise. His presence is becoming a danger."

The room shifted uneasily. Koharu frowned. "Naruto was instrumental in stopping Gaara. Without him, the invasion could have been much worse. He showed remarkable skill, and that power was under control."

Danzo leaned forward, his tone sharp. "Under control for now. But how long before he loses it entirely? He is young and inexperienced, and the Nine-Tails is a ticking time bomb within him. If he continues to rely on its power, we risk another catastrophe."

Homura hesitated, "But we can't ignore what he did. He fought for the village, and many in the village view him as a hero now. How would it look if we turned against him?"

A voice from the side spoke up—one of the council elders. "Danzo may have a point. The Nine-Tails has always been a danger. Perhaps it's time we consider removing that threat entirely. It would send a strong message."

Koharu interjected, her tone firm. "We cannot simply discard him. Not after everything he's done for the village. Besides, there's the question of who will succeed as Hokage. The village needs stability."

Danzo's eyes gleamed with intent. "We need someone who understands the dangers, who is willing to make difficult decisions for the future of the village. Someone like myself. I have the experience and the foresight to deal with the threats we face, including Naruto."

Homura frowned. "But would the village accept you as Hokage? There are others who may be better suited. Jiraiya has been considered, though he refuses."

"The village will accept whoever is strongest and most capable of protecting it," Danzo replied coldly. "And I can protect it, in ways the Third was too soft to embrace. That boy, Naruto, is a risk we cannot afford to overlook."

The room fell into a murmur of debate, with half the council nodding in agreement while others remained uncertain. Danzo's ambition was clear, but not everyone was convinced.

One of the council members, a middle-aged man with sharp features, spoke up, interrupting the heated conversation. "Actually, Danzo, my sources indicate that Jiraiya has already taken Naruto on a mission. They've gone to find Tsunade, who is a viable candidate for Hokage."

The room fell silent for a moment as the name of the legendary Sannin settled into the conversation. Danzo's eye twitched in irritation. "Tsunade? She's not reliable," he scoffed. "Her reputation precedes her. She's weak and filled with sentimentality. She abandoned the village once, and she will again."

"But if she agrees?" Koharu asked cautiously.

Danzo leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "If she declines, then I will take the position of Hokage myself. We can't afford a leader who might hesitate in a moment of crisis."

There was a murmur of agreement from a few members, but others remained reserved, unwilling to speak out against the idea of Tsunade. Danzo, sensing their indecision, seized the opportunity. "Regardless of Tsunade's decision, there are actions we can and should take immediately. The situation in the village is unstable, and we need to secure our future."

Koharu narrowed her eyes. "What are you suggesting?"

"I'm suggesting we take steps now, without waiting for a Hokage's approval. The village is vulnerable, and we need to act swiftly. For one, Naruto Uzumaki is a growing problem. He is reckless, unpredictable, and carries the most dangerous weapon in existence inside him. I vote that we banish him from the village."

A collective gasp rippled through the council, but Danzo pressed on. "With the Nine-Tails in him, we face a potential catastrophe. He may have helped during the invasion, but at what cost? He unleashed two tails of the Nine-Tails' power, and that kind of unpredictability makes him a threat we can no longer ignore. We don't need him here."

Homura, looking conflicted, finally spoke up. "Naruto has been an annoyance to the village since his childhood. The danger he poses now only increases that burden. Perhaps banishment is for the best."

One by one, other council members began to nod. "He's caused trouble for years," one said. "His very presence disturbs the peace of the village," another added.

Danzo's voice grew quieter, more insidious. "We can remove this problem quietly. Send him away under the guise of protecting the village. We banish him, and we regain control."

Koharu hesitated but saw the wave of agreement sweeping across the room. "Is this really the best course of action?"

Danzo smirked slightly. "It is the only course of action if we want to ensure the village's safety."

Eventually, a vote was taken, and one after another, hands were raised. The final tally was clear: the council had agreed. Naruto Uzumaki was to be banished from the Hidden Leaf Village, though Danzo knew he would wait for Naruto's return before making the move public. His goal however was simple, he wanted Naruto to be banished so he can claim the Nine Tails power for himself and use its power as it was meant to be. His grip on the village's future was tightening, and this was just the beginning.

Several days after their intense battle with Orochimaru, Naruto walked alongside Jiraiya through the familiar streets of the Hidden Leaf Village. The sun was beginning to set, casting a soft orange glow over the rooftops. Jiraiya, looking worn but satisfied, was carefully carrying Tsunade, who had passed out from exhaustion after their confrontation. Her decision to return as Hokage had come at a cost, both emotionally and physically, but she was back, and that was all that mattered.

Naruto glanced at them with a small smile. He was bruised and tired from the fight but proud of what they had accomplished. Tsunade was the new Hokage, and with her return, everything seemed like it would be okay for the village.

"Pervy Sage, we really did it, huh?" Naruto said, a grin spreading across his face. "Tsunade's gonna be the Hokage! Man, I can't wait to tell everyone."

Jiraiya chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah, don't get too ahead of yourself, kid. We've still got work to do, but this is a big win for the village. We need someone strong leading it after everything that's happened."

As they neared the hospital, Jiraiya stopped and shifted Tsunade's weight in his arms. He looked down at Naruto. "Why don't you head home and get some rest, Naruto? You've earned it. I'll take Tsunade to the hospital."

Naruto scratched the back of his head. "Alright, but make sure she's okay, yeah?"

Jiraiya nodded. "I will. Now go on. We'll need you at full strength soon enough."

With a wave, Naruto turned to head home. His thoughts were still buzzing from the excitement of everything that had happened, but his body was heavy with exhaustion. All he wanted now was to sleep for a week. But just as he was about to make his way down a quiet alley, a shadow flickered from the rooftops above.

"Uzumaki Naruto," came a cold, authoritative voice.

Naruto stopped in his tracks, his instincts immediately on edge. From the shadows, an ANBU operative wearing a porcelain mask with the symbol of a hawk dropped down in front of him. The presence of the ANBU usually meant something serious.

"What's up?" Naruto asked, crossing his arms, trying to seem nonchalant, though he felt a sense of unease building in his stomach.

The ANBU stood tall, his voice emotionless. "You are to report to the Hokage's office immediately. There is an urgent matter that requires your attention."

Naruto blinked, confusion setting in. "Uh, the Hokage? You mean Tsunade? But she's still unconscious after the fight with Orochimaru. Why would she want to see me?"

The ANBU's gaze didn't waver. "It is a direct order. You will come now."

Naruto's brow furrowed, but something in the ANBU's demeanor told him it wasn't a request he could refuse. "Alright, alright. Lead the way, then."

Without another word, the ANBU turned and began walking swiftly toward the Hokage's office, leaving Naruto to follow behind. The village streets seemed quieter than usual, and as Naruto approached the towering structure that housed the Hokage's office, he noticed a strange tension in the air. Something was wrong, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

As they reached the entrance, the ANBU stopped. "The council is waiting for you inside. Proceed," the masked figure said before disappearing back into the shadows.

Naruto hesitated. Why is the council waiting for me? And what do they want?

Naruto stepped into the Hokage's office, the large doors creaking slightly as he pushed them open. Inside, the atmosphere was cold and tense. Seated in a semicircle around a large table were the members of the village council, their faces stern and unwelcoming. Danzo stood at the center, his one visible eye focused intently on Naruto.

Naruto immediately felt something was wrong. There was no trace of Tsunade, and the way the council members stared at him made his skin crawl. He took a few cautious steps forward. "What's going on?" he asked, confusion written all over his face.

Danzo cleared his throat, stepping forward as if he had been waiting for this moment. His voice was calm but laced with cold authority. "Naruto Uzumaki, as of today, you are hereby banished from the Hidden Leaf Village."

Naruto's eyes widened in shock. "What?! Banish me? What are you talking about?"

Danzo's expression didn't change as he continued. "After reviewing the events during the recent invasion and the power you unleashed from the Nine-Tails, the council has deemed you a significant threat to the safety of this village. As such, it has been decided that you are to leave immediately. This is for the protection of everyone."

Naruto felt his heart sink, and anger began bubbling up inside him. "A threat? I helped stop Gaara and the invasion! How can you call me a threat after everything I did to protect this village?!"

Danzo remained unflinching. "Your actions have been reckless, and the power of the Nine-Tails is something that cannot be controlled. You unleashed two tails of its chakra—something no one here can overlook. This was not a decision made lightly. It was done with the village's safety in mind."

Naruto clenched his fists, his voice rising. "This is crazy! Tsunade is back now, and I know for a fact she would never approve something like this!"

Danzo's eye narrowed slightly. "Tsunade has only just returned and has not yet been fully briefed on the matter. The council made this decision to ensure the village remains secure. You are a risk we cannot afford."

Naruto took a step back, shaking his head in disbelief. "This is wrong! Tsunade is the Hokage now. If she didn't approve this, it's not a real order!"

He turned on his heel, ready to storm out of the room and find Tsunade. But just as he reached the door, two ANBU operatives appeared from the shadows, blocking his exit. One of them placed a firm hand on Naruto's shoulder.

"Let go of me!" Naruto shouted, shrugging off the hand, but the ANBU stood their ground.

Danzo's voice rang out once more, calm but final. "You will not leave this room until you comply. You will be escorted to your apartment to gather your belongings, and then you will depart the village. Failure to follow these orders will result in immediate and more severe consequences."

Naruto's heart raced as he looked around the room. He had never felt more cornered in his life. "I'm not leaving! I won't let you do this to me!"

Danzo met his gaze, his expression unwavering. "You will, Naruto. For the sake of the village, you will leave. And you will do so now."

The ANBU operatives stepped closer, silently waiting for Naruto to comply. Naruto could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on him. He was angry, confused, and above all, betrayed. But at this moment, surrounded by the council and Danzo's ever-watchful eye, there was little he could do.

He glanced around, hoping to see someone who would stand up for him, but the cold faces of the council offered no support. Gritting his teeth, he muttered under his breath, "This isn't over."

Danzo didn't respond. He simply gestured to the ANBU. "Escort him. Ensure he leaves immediately."

Naruto, chest heavy with frustration, followed the ANBU out of the room. His mind raced as he thought about what he could do next. There was no way he was leaving the village without a fight—not without speaking to Tsunade first. But for now, he had to play along, at least until he could figure out his next move.

Moments later, Naruto stood in his small, humble apartment, staring blankly at his belongings. The weight of the situation pressed down on him like never before. His bed, a few clothes, and his treasured headband—all of it felt meaningless now. He grabbed his backpack, stuffing it with the essentials, but his mind raced with ways to escape the situation.

I can't just leave like this. I've got to find a way to talk to Tsunade, to stop this.

He tightened the strap of his bag and glanced out the window. He could see the ANBU keeping a close watch on the street below. He clenched his fists, anger bubbling to the surface. His hands began to form the signs for a Shadow Clone. If he could just create a distraction and slip away—

Before he could complete the jutsu, he felt cold steel against the side of his neck. A sharp whisper came from behind him. "Don't even think about it. You try anything, and you'll die here."

Naruto froze, his breath catching in his throat. One of Danzo's ANBU had appeared in a flash, faster than Naruto could react. The blade hovered dangerously close to his skin, and Naruto felt a chill crawl up his spine.

Slowly lowering his hands, Naruto spoke through gritted teeth, "I wasn't gonna do anything…"

The ANBU didn't respond, simply pressing the blade slightly closer as a warning. Naruto sighed, shoulders slumping in defeat. This isn't the time. I'll have to play along—for now.

The ANBU finally stepped back, sheathing his blade, but his cold, watchful eyes remained fixed on Naruto as they headed toward the village gates. With every step, Naruto felt the weight of his impending banishment sinking deeper into his chest.

As they approached the gates, Naruto saw a crowd waiting for him. His heart sank further. Standing there, in front of the gate, was Danzo, flanked by his ANBU operatives. But what hit Naruto the hardest were the other figures gathered there—all the jonin senseis, including Kakashi, stood witnessing the moment. None of them said a word. Their eyes, filled with sorrow and regret, watched as Naruto approached.

Danzo stepped forward, his cold expression unreadable. "Naruto Uzumaki, as of this moment, you are officially banished from the Hidden Leaf Village. For the safety and security of this village, you will leave, and you will not return."

Naruto's fists trembled at his sides, his entire body shaking with a whirlwind of emotions. He couldn't believe what was happening. The village he had sworn to protect, the people he had saved, were now casting him aside. The weight of it all became too much to bear.

Suddenly, Naruto screamed, his voice raw with pain. "Maybe it's a good thing I leave! Maybe I should just die out there—because that's what you all wanted, right?! You all just wanted me gone since the day I was born!"

His voice echoed through the silence, and his tears streamed down his face uncontrollably. He looked at the jonin, his heart breaking as he saw the pain in their eyes, but none of them said anything to stop this. No one was stepping forward to defend him.

"I gave everything to this village," Naruto cried out, his voice cracking. "I tried so hard to prove myself, to protect everyone! And this is how it ends?! You just want me gone!"

The silence was deafening.

Danzo, unfazed by Naruto's outburst, raised his hand, signaling to his ANBU. "Enough. Naruto Uzumaki, your banishment stands. Leave this village and never return. Your existence has caused enough harm."

Naruto's heart shattered at those words. He turned toward the gates, running quickly, his head hanging low as tears continued to fall. The gates opened, and as he stepped through, he could feel the eyes of the village on him. The place he had called home his entire life now felt like the coldest, most distant place in the world.

As the gates closed behind him, Naruto's world felt like it had crumbled. This was his destiny to die as a monster. No love, no friends, and no one to support him in the end.
