Hey guys, what's up?

Well, I've been working on this fanfic idea of quite some time, so I tried it myself. So, let's see how you guys like it. Leave a review and let me know what you think.

-GameShop-

Yugi was finishing dressing while Yami was looking at the small mirror. The small teen walked over to Yami's side, "It looks good. Why the change?"

Yami turned to him, "Why not. Besides, the rope was starting to rip."

After defeating the Big 5 in the virtual game that Kaiba created, during the night, the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle mysteriously gained a body. While the former spirit was happy not to be sealed in the puzzle, he was getting used to having a body once again.

Yugi didn't know what to do so he ended up calling Kaiba for help. Since Kaiba did owe them for what they did, he created fake documents for the former spirit.

Now, Yami is Yugi's twin brother who returned from overseas.

Yugi's grandfather accepted him as another grandson. The elder Muto even told him to call him grandpa, but for Yami, it sounded informal, so he calls him grandfather instead.

Same with Yugi's mother, Kioko.

As he went to school with Solomon and Kioko to enroll him, the girls were looking at him with dreamy expressions and started to whisper. News started to spread and the whole school knew about Yugi's mysterious twin brother.

His first day of school was the same day when they learned another boy in another class just transferred yesterday. His name was Duke Devlin, the creator of DDM or Dungeon Dice Monsters.

Joey challenged him in a duel. That's when Duke adds a twist, if he wins, Joey will have to do whatever Duke says for a week. They dueled but Joey lost.

He had Joey wear a dog suite and had him get on his knees and bark like a dog. He did so, feeling humiliated but Yugi wasn't having it. He challenged Duke and if he wins, Joey becomes a free man. Duke accepted the challenge, but they'll be playing DDM.

At first, Yugi struggled a bit but after a few turns, he beat Duke in his own game. Joey was a free man and Duke apologized for all the trouble he has caused. In the end, Duke became a member of the Muto brothers' group of friends.

That's when they heard their grandfather shouting that Tea was here.

"Okay! We're going down!" Yugi shouted, picking up his backpack.

"Mm, why not wear some silver jewelry on your arms? You look too ordinary," suggested Yami, carrying his backpack by the handle.

"You know that won't look good on me, Yami," said Yugi.

Yami winked, "Don't you want Tea to notice you?"

Yugi blushed, "W-What are you talking about?"

The small teen opened the door, almost hitting their mother.

"Yugi! Be careful," said Kioko.

"Ah, sorry mom. We're going, Tea is waiting," said Yugi, dashing downstairs. Yami closed their bedroom door, before saying farewell to Kioko.

"Come on, Yugi. I can see that you like Tea," smirked Yami.

"What?! Stop teasing me!" Yugi snapped while Yami laughed.

Kioko shook her head, watching her son and the former spirit of the puzzle act like they were real brothers.

Once outside, they greeted Tea before leaving for school.

"Hey, are you guys free this Sunday?" Tea asked.

"Why?" Yugi asked while Yami mentally slapped his forehead.

"Nothing special, but if you guys are free, why don't we do something together?" Tea replied.

"Well, I know it's my turn to help grandfather in the shop this weekend. You and Yugi can go without me," said Yami.

"Oh, okay. Well, what do you say Yugi?" Tea asked before noticing the small teen was standing in front of a fortune teller. She and Yami went over to him, "What are you doing?"

"Mm, oh, he says he'll tell my fortune," Yugi replied.

Tea sighed, 'He's such a kid sometimes.'

The fortune teller looked up and saw the Millennium Puzzle around Yami's neck. "You, young man, you're wearing an impressive accessory."

Yami slightly glared at the fortune teller.

"May I see it?"

Yami frowned before turning around, "Sorry, let's go Yugi."

The small teen was about to protest when Tea dragged him by his jacket. Unknown to them, the fortune teller stared at them before disappearing into the alley.

"I swear you are easily distracted," said Tea after letting go of Yugi's jacket.

They were waiting to cross the road.

Yugi smiled sheepishly, "You can't blame me."

Yami chuckled a bit, "No, but that curiosity trait comes from grandfather."

The small teen pouted while Tea giggled. Suddenly smoke came out of nowhere, and no one around it could see.

"Yugi… Yugi, are you and Tea alright?" Yami asked through their mind link.

"Yea, but where are you? I can't see you," said Yugi.

Yami was about to reply when he felt someone placed their hand over his mouth. He was about to speak to Yugi through their link when he felt his body getting heavy.

"Yu… Yugi," said Yami before going unconscious.

The older Muto slowly opened his eyes and noticed he was in an unfamiliar place. He rubbed his head before noticing he was chained.

Suddenly, the lights turned on, revealing he was in a duel ring in the middle of an unknown warehouse.

Yami looked around to see on the other side of the ring was the same fortune teller his brother was talking to. He gritted his teeth, "Who are you? And what do you want?"

"I don't have to answer your questions, boy. Now, you have one of two choices. You either duel against me or you don't. What's your answer?"

Yami glared at him, "Why do I have to duel against you?"

The fortune teller stayed silent.

Yami gritted his teeth, "Fine! But if I win, you better unchained me!"

The fortune teller nodded his head.

"Let's begin the duel."

That's when the life points counter went up to 2000 on each side.

Yami: 2000 vs Fortune Teller: 2000

"You go first."

Yami drew his card, "I summon Celtic Guardian (1400/1200) in attack mode. I end my turn."

The fortune teller drew his card, "I place a monster in defense mode. I end my turn."

'That voice… where have I heard it before?' Yami thought. He drew his card, "Celtic Guardian attack his defense monster!"

The fortune teller smirked, "Cyber Jar's effect activates."

"Not good," murmured Yami.

"When this card flips over, all monsters on the field are destroyed."

Both Celtic Guardian and Cyber Jar were gone from the field.

"Then we both reveal the top five cards in our decks. Any level 4 or below monster cards among them are placed on the field in any battle mode you like."

Yami placed one monster in defense mode while the fortune teller placed two machine monsters in attack mode.

'Wait! Mechanicalchaser, Ground Attacker Bugroth and Cyber Jar… his deck is a machine deck,' thought Yami. He gritted his teeth, "Are you Bandit Keith?"

The fortune teller removed his hood, revealing the machine duelist.

"It is you!" Yami widened his eyes, 'He looks like a different person, but there's no mistaking his bandana. Joey defeated him in Duelist Kingdom, and Pegasus banished him.'

"Why are you here?" Yami asked.

"It's true that this man used to be called Bandit Keith."

'This man?' Yami thought.

"Keith was thrown into the ocean."

'Why is he talking about himself in the third person?' Yami thought.

"Of course, he hates your… friend. If it wasn't for him, he could've once again had wealth and fame as America's number one duelist."

For a moment, Keith gave Yami a hateful glare.

"My turn. I summon Machine King (2200/2000) in attack mode. Machine King gains 100 attack points for every face-up machine type monster on the field."

Machine King (2200 to 2500)

The tall machine monster attack Yami's defense monster.

"I end my turn."

Yami glared at him before drawing a card, "I place a monster in defense mode. Then I set one card, and I end my turn."

Keith chuckled, "What? Are you afraid of my machine army?" He drew a card, "Then I'll scare you even more with Megasonic Eye (1500) in attack mode!"

"Machine King's effect raises its attack points by 100. Now, my machine, attack his defending monster!"

"I don't think so. I activate Negate Attack!" Yami said.

A barrier formed and the machine monster's attack was stopped.

"Not bad," murmured Keith. However, inside of the machine duelist's mind, someone was watching through his eyes.

"Yugi Muto's brother… by looks, that small boy couldn't defeat Pegasus… but this boy, is another story. And why does he wield the Millennium Puzzle?"

Meanwhile at school, Tea and Yugi informed Joey and Tristan what happened to Yami. They were about to leave when a teacher stopped in front of them.

"And where do you think you're going? Class is about to begin!"

The four didn't know what to say until Joey lied that Yami wasn't feeling well and was sent to the hospital. At first the teacher didn't believe them until Tea begged him to allow them to go as they don't know if he's going to be alright.

Then she started to cry.

The teacher started to tear up and allowed them to leave the school grounds.

"That was easy," said Joey.

"But he'll be furious if he finds out the truth," said Tea.

"It can't be helped. It's an emergency," said Tristan.

"I just hope Yami is okay," said Yugi.

Back at the warehouse…

Yami drew his card and flipped over his defense monster which was Curse of Dragon (2000/1500) in attack mode.

"Next, I summoned Gaia the Fierce Knight (2300/2100), and I use Polymerization to fusion summon, Gaia the Dragon Champion (2600/2100). Gaia attack Ground Attacker Bugroth!"

The flying knight stabbed Keith's monster and destroyed it.

Keith: 2000 to 900

With one less machine monster, Machine King loses 100 attack points.

"My turn," said Keith. "I change Mechanicalchaser and Megasonic Eye into defense mode. Next, I activate the magic card, Machine Conversion Factory… machine type monsters gain 300 attack and defense points."

Machine King (2500 to 2800)

Mechanicalchaser (800 to 1100)

Megasonic Eye (1000 to 1300)

Yami gritted his teeth, 'His Machine King has enough attack points to destroy Gaia.'

"Go, Machine King! Attack Gaia the Dragon Champion!" Keith said. The tall machine attacked Gaia and destroyed him.

Yami: 2000 to 1800

At that moment, Yami felt pain going through his body. It didn't last long but the older Muto almost collapsed to his knees and looked over at the machine duelist.

"Wha… What did you do?"

Keith chuckled, "Isn't it obvious, boy? If you lose life points, you feel the pain… a shocking pain. Now, it's your turn."

Yami took a few deep breaths before drawing his card. He looked at his hand, "I activate Makiu, the Magical Mist!"

The arena became foggy.

"What's this mist?" Keith asked as his machine monsters turned to rust.

"Machines are quite weak against water," said Yami. "I summon Summoned Skull (2500/1200) in attack mode. And thanks to my magic card my monster's electric attack powers up."

Summoned Skull (2500 to 3250)

"Go, Summoned Skull – Magic Lightning!" Yami said. His monster's lightning attacked and destroyed Machine King.

Keith: 900 to 150

"What?" Keith said. Through his mind and eyes, the unknown person was impressed.

"Just as I suspect it. I was only going to watch but now… I will show no mercy."

Meanwhile, back with the gang, Tea and Yugi took Joey and Tristan to where they first spotted the mysterious fortune teller.

"Are you positive it was that strange fortune teller that took Yami?" Tea asked.

Yugi nodded, "Positive. Even though the alley was dark, I could see he was wearing the same cloak as the fortune teller."

That's when Joey spotted something on the wall. He walked to it, "Hey, it's an arrow. You think this might lead to Yami's location?"

"But who would put it up?" Tea asked. "Yami was taken by the light, not here."

"Maybe that weirdo planned on grabbing Yami here," said Tristan.

Yugi frowned a bit, "The fortune teller did want to see the Millennium Puzzle, but Yami didn't allow him."

"Hey guys, look," said Tristan.

On the walls there were arrow signs pointing to a certain location.

"I think Tristan might be right," said Joey.

"Then let's follow where the arrows signs lead to," said Tristan.

Yugi nodded and the gang followed the arrows signs in hope that it would lead to Yami.

Meanwhile back to the duel…

Once Yami's turn ended, the mist effect expired and Summoned Skull's attack points went back to normal. It was Keith's turn.

Keith drew his card, "The magic card, Graceful Charity allows me to draw three cards from my deck. Then I discard two cards from my hand."

Unknown to Yami, Keith secretly pulled out two cards from his sleeve, making believe he drew them from his deck.

"Next, I activate the magic card, Zera Ritual!"

Yami widened his eyes, "Wait! There are only three copies. How did you get that?"

Keith didn't answer, "I tribute Megasonic Eye and Mechanicalchaser to summon Zera the Mant (2800/2300)!"

His two monsters disappeared, and a dark blue monster appeared.

"Even Summoned Skull can't destroy Zera! Devil's Claw!"

Keith's monster slashed Summoned Skull's arms, destroying it.

Yami: 1800 to 1500

"I must uncover the identity of this boy. If he's who I think he is…"

Yami screamed from the electricity. He holds onto the railing once the electricity stopped. He winced a bit, thinking about how he was going to beat such a rare card
