Phase 11: Hidden Horrors Pt 3
Vale is walking towards the bridge to get word from Alisa and Sage about ONI's plans to use the Flood as a bioweapon against the Elite home world. "You got to be fucking kidding me. That's horrible, the war is over. We have an alliance with them and now they will ruin everything," Vale said.
"We need to take this to Lord Hood and the Arbiter to sort this shit out. I'm not too fond of this. Master Chief and Blue Team becoming traitors and now this garbage. We need to gain all the data here and get it to the right people," Alisa said.
"ONI has too many people in their pocket," Vale asked.
"Not all of them. Either they reform or be replaced. I will not tolerate this after all the shit the galaxy is through right now," Alisa feeling upset with this but focusing on the mission at hand.
"Truly monstrous. We need to nail this in the bud soon. Meet you at the bridge," Vale said holding onto her Mosa Carbine to link it via Smart Scope in her VISR in her HUD. She hears groans in the background.
"By the way, there are two more Juggernauts within the ship. Be careful," Sage said on her radio.
"Oh great," Vale said to hold onto the Carbine to see a wide area with Flood at the bottom. She uses her Grapple Shot to latch onto the ceiling to swing over the gap to use her thrusters to push herself onto the other side to avoid the vast numbers of Flood below.
Soon a swarm of Pods appears along with Seeders floating above them shooting barbs at them. "These things," she thought to get pounded with her Overshield flaring up. She tosses a Needle Grenade to see the pink spikes go in all directions to trigger multiple super combines to blow them to bits.
A Gaunt comes in to kick Vale into the pit with a ton of Flood who will easily kill her and consume her. She uses her Grapple Shot to latch onto the latch to raise her up and back onto solid ground to kick the monster into a wall. She fires several shots into the body of the Gaunt to kill it off to be close to the bridge.
Elsewhere Sela, Vala, and Vex along with the other Sangheili commandos managed to reach the inner hallways of the engine room. Biomass clings to the walls and ceiling with Sela holding her Storm Rifle. "This is bad," she said as they saw more Pure Forms coming their way along with Combat Forms and Pods backing them up to protect the Proto Gravemind.
"Burn these parasites to the depths of hell where they belong," Vex said as the Elites stormed inside the engine to fight off the groups of Flood.
He fires his Concussive Rifle to let the explosive plasma bolt blow apart incoming Flood units. He tosses a Needle Grenade to let out a barrage of crystals that strike several targets to trigger several super combines to scatter their broken bodies onto the floor.
Vala uses her Needle Rifle to nail Rangers on the walls to blast them apart while Sela uses her Fuel Rod Gun to blow away groups of enemies to vaporize the rotting walking corpses. They spot the large mass of biomass which is the budding Proto Gravemind.
"Focus your fire on the Proto Gravemind," Sela said as several Commandos used their Fuel Rod Guns and Plasma Launchers to destroy sections of the Keymind. Flood tries to stop them but they hold them off while their heavy arms are focused on the monstrous growth.
They keep pounding away until the Proto Gravemind has been destroyed to see the Flood seem to have slowed down. "Mission complete, we need to secure the hangers to get our Phantoms in positions. Don't let the Flood out of here," Vex said as they mow down the Flood units who have become sluggish trying to regain their combat capabilities through the two Juggernauts still onboard the ship.
Alisa is going through to detect something big is nearby. "Juggernaut, hide," Sage said as Six activated her suit's Active Camo to melt into the darkness to see a huge Flood Keymind looming around trying to take out the big target which is Six.
"Seems like Sela and the others managed to kill the Proto Gravemind. Which means the Flood will slow down," Alisa said.
"Yes, but the Juggernauts must be killed as well. Both dead will reduce them back to the Feral stage becoming wild animals," Sage said as she loaded up her Hydra to start firing mini rockets at the huge beasts.
The Juggernaut swings its two huge, long limbs with her rolling around to kick off the wall. She uses her thrusters to air dash to avoid the strikes. She uses her Energy Dagger to slice part of the tentacle to get behind the monster to fire the mini rockets to blow apart the biomass of the Juggernaut.
She runs off to bait the monster to chase after her by shooting explosive canisters along her path to let them explode near the monster to weaken it further. She sees a half-open gate to slide under it to slip on through.
The Juggernaut burst through the gate with Alisa tossing a Cyro grenade to freeze the monster in place making it a rotting ice statue. She unloads explosives at the frozen monster to soon enough scatter it to pieces.
"Good riddance," she said to reload her Hydra to approach the Bridge to see Vale waiting there. "Seems like you were busy," Alisa said to see a bunch of dead Combat Forms on the floor.
"Yeah, they are sluggish. The Elites managed to do their jobs. Now we will do our job," Vale said as Alisa nodded her head. She transfers Sage within the systems of the bridges to gather all the data they need to prove ONI was involved in this and their terrible plan with the Sangheili.
"Goodness, it's even worse than I imagined. Not just Sanghelios but all of Sangheili's controlled space will be hit with Flood. This is madness," Vale said as Sage gathered all the data they needed.
"Okay, time to get out of here," Sage said to come back into Alisa's suit for the two female Spartans to rush out of there.
"Okay Sela, we got the data, and it's far worse than we can imagine," Alisa said on the radio to share the details of ONI's grand plan to use the Flood as a super weapon to destroy the Sangheili worlds.
"Damn it, ONI needs to answer for this," Sela said.
"Indeed, we will meet you at the hangar here," Alisa said to mark a location within the Xion.
"Okay, we will have the Phantom waiting for you both. Hurry up," Sela said as the two women saw the last Juggernaut coming in trying to stop them.
"Damn it, not now," Vela said as the two use their thrusters to boost away from the powerful limbs of the large Flood. Six locks on and fires rapid shots from her Hydra to blow apart flesh from its body summoning a bunch of Pure Forms like Shadows and Gaunts trying to protect it.
"Great," Vela said as she used her Plasma Rifle to pepper targets with blue bolts while Alisa used mini rockets to lock on and take out enemies. Alisa tosses her Cyro grenades to freeze the legs of the Juggernaut to blow it to pieces to knock it down.
Shadows were using Carbines and Plasma Rifles trying to ward them off with Gaunts trying to knock them off balance. They even noticed they were much slower and sluggish making them easier to deal with.
They unload their weapons to wipe them out and then use her Cyro Grenade to weaken the monster to blow it to rotting pieces knocking out the Flood's super intelligence and making them nothing but mindless beasts.
"All the Keyminds are gone. They will be much easier to deal with," Sage said as they cut down the dumbed-down monsters to head for the hanger.
"Guys, the last Juggernaut is dead. We are heading for the hanger," Alisa said.
"Good, they will be easier to deal with. Good work," Sela said as the Phantom opened fire on the hordes of Flood Forms without planning and thinking, just rushing in headfirst with brute force.
Sela uses her Fuel Rod Gun to vaporize groups of enemies while Vala is dual-wielding two Plasma Rifles to burn through groupings of Flood. Vex is blasting enemies apart with his Concussive Rifle holding the line.
A Big Elite Commando is wielding a Plasma Light Cannon which is like a Sangheili machine gun to begin mowing down hordes of Flood to drop them in the hundreds. A powerful blue plasma bolts rip and tear into the enemies with many Flood collapsing onto the ground.
"Burn Parasites, the pits of hell are waiting for you," the Elite commando roared in a battle cry with the long gun feeling hot from the constant barrage cutting into the monsters.
"Keep going, Rew. The Spartans will be coming too," Sela said.
"Too bad, I was just enjoying this," Rew bellowed to let his heavy weapon kill off over 500 Flood Combat Forms to pile them up on the floor.
"We are here," Alisa and Vale show up the Phantom picking them all up to leave the doomed ship.
"I managed to overwrite the reactor of Xion. We need to slip space out of here before it explodes," Sage said to go into the stealth Corvette to jump out of there. Soon enough the Xion overloads and triggers a giant nuclear explosion killing everything on the Xion and wiping out the Flood.
"We did it, the Parasite was destroyed and it was a damn good fight it was. Didn't have one like that in a long time," Rew said patting the female humans on the shoulder. "Good work out there. You were fine warriors," Rew said to give them praise.
"Thanks, just doing our jobs," Alisa said as they arrived at the bridge of the Corvette to see the Shipmaster.
"Mission complete, do you have the data?" he asked as Sage transferred the data to the ship's mainframe. "Goodness, ONI are so vile. The Arbiter needs to know about this," Shipmaster said.
"Indeed, I am doing this to give us leverage. ONI will try to cover this up but the Swords will have all their plans for the Flood used as a bioweapon in Sangheili-controlled space. I know the right person to get this data to," Alisa said thinking about Lord Hood who can be trusted.
"That was quite the ride," Sage said.
"Yes, we make a pretty good team," Alisa said
"Indeed we did. You were very capable. Your name Noble Six matches the hype behind you," Sage said.
"I am to please," she said in cold confidence.
"I have served my purpose to look over the experiments on the Xion," Sage said.
"Well, you just got a new one. Being my AI partner," Alisa said.
"Oh really?" Sage asked feeling happy to hear this.
"Yes, having a sweet girl like you would make missions less lonely," Alisa said as this comment made Sage blush in the face.
"Oh okay, I would love to work with you. Partner," Sage said.
"So adorable," Alisa teased her.
"I am a hyper Smart AI, I am not adorable," she said with a pout with Alisa trying to hold back a coo.
"Yep, so cute," she thought as their mission was complete to take the data to the right people.
Within a few hours, Cortez is waiting for his girlfriend to come back to one of Eternity's hangars to see a Phantom dropping them off with Alisa going to hug Cortez. "Thank goodness, you are okay. Vale told me what you were doing." Cortez said.
"Yeah sorry for not telling you. I didn't need ONI to know what I was doing and went with the Elites on a certain mission. I gave the data to Lord Hood and the Arbiter. They can sort the rest out with the big wigs in ONI," Six said.
"Greetings Cortez, Alisa told me all about you on the flight back here," Sage said as she appeared in the palm of Six's hand looking like a cute girl in robes.
"Looks like Six got herself a little sister on her side quest," Cortez said.
"Well, my ship is destroyed and now I am reassigned to her. I am her AI partner now," Sage said.
"Well, we got another Chief and Cortana on our hands," Cortez hyped up with this.
"I don't know about that but we will both do our best," Alisa said.
"Indeed I will too," Sage said as they went to the armor room where Alisa could get her armor pieces off to only be in her tech suit fitting her body pretty well.
"That new tech suit is insane. Has a nice gloss to it," Cortez said.
"Well, it's based on Elite combat bodysuits. It feels very comfortable," she said to spread out her long limbs with Cortez's eyes glued onto her curves especially her wide hips and thick thighs.
"Very formfitting too," Cortez enjoying the view of this tall warrior goddess with Alisa hiding a blush.
"Well yeah, needs to be. Don't need to be caught on anything," she said as he went up to her. Holding her trim waist to kiss her on the lips.
"It suits you," he said.
"Hmm, I am being processed," Sage said to cut their cute little moment.
"Oh right, when I am not on duty. You will be registered and integrated into the Eternity's main systems. The ship has a Main Smart AI running it but you will be able to serve as backup," Alisa said.
"Okay, see you later Alisa," Sage said to wave to her cutely to make her hologram disappear.
Later that day, Alisa gets a call from Lord Hood about the data she passed along to head for the terminal to have a private meeting with him. "Morning Lieutenant Alisa-B312," Hood said.
"Morning sir, good to see you," she gives him a proper salute to his hologram.
"At ease Spartan, you did a good job seeking this out. I shared the intel with the UEG president and she is not pleased with ONI's handling of the situation. Heads are going to start rolling," Hood said.
"Of course, it's madness trying to control them. Let alone trying to kill our allies," Alisa said.
"Indeed. Their reckless action helped make the Storm Covenant what it is as well as led to the Didact being released," Hood said.
"Speaking of which, what about Doctor Hasley?" Alisa asked.
"Don't know, she is still with the Storm. Aiding them in finding Forerunner artifacts. She is still labeled a war criminal and must be recovered from their hold," Hood said as after the events of Requiem Harley went with the Storm to gain more knowledge.
"Relating to that. What about Chief and Blue Team?" Alisa asked.
"Sadly with ONI in panic mode. The Kill order is not lifted, they will be sending Spartan teams to capture or kill them sadly," Hood said lamenting this.
"That is insane, you know sir. Master Chief will never betray UNSC," Alisa said as Hood sighed from ONI making a mess of things.
"I know Lieutenant. I have seen that man do the impossible without batting an eye. He has proven his loyalty through his actions alone but the damage is already done despite the Arbiter sorting out the issue with the Sangheili diplomats. The Infinity asked him to come back but Chief is onto something," Hood said.
"Must be the Didact, he is still out there," Alisa said.
"Yes. We need to be prepared for this rouge Forerunner. Master Chief will be hellbent on finding a way to beat him for good for Earth's safety," Hood said as Didact was very close to composing the entire planet. "Keep up the good work Lieutenant. Despite Sage being an ONI-based Smart AI, you can keep her since she is useful for your missions," he said.
"Thank you, sir," she said as Hood saluted her to cut off the hologram. "Things are getting interesting," she thought to head back to her quarters to rest up.
