It was meant to stay at that castle, where no one would disturb it, but in 1981, Professor Raymond Knowby uncovered this book and brought it to a remote cabin in the Tennessee wilderness to translate its passages. Now, he must attend to the horrors he's unleashed through that book, the Evil Dead.

Years after the original Evil Dead, seven spring breakers decide to head into the Tennessee hills for a week away. When they stumble upon the Book of the Dead, in the rubble of a nearby cabin, they soon realize they should have left the book alone. The week of relaxation will turn into a night of terror as the teens try stay human and fight off the evil the book has summoned.

A novelization of Sam Raimi's Super 8 film that was used to raise money for the Evil Dead. It's very Similar.
