"Please state your name for the record." The head interviewer said, watching as the pale, tallish girl took her seat.

"Jade Augustus West." The girl sat, nervous about this interview. 'Yea, it's a decent opportunity, but at what price?' Her eyes scanned across the three interviewers, the man in the center, old and distinguished, as well as the two younger people flanking him.

"Can I start?" The attractive Latina asked.

"Please." The man running the interview said.

"Okay, Miss West, I'd like to start by establishing a bit about your character." The brown eyed girl started. "So, tell me, about how many times have you let your lover top you?"

"Really?" Jade groaned, narrowing her eyes at the Latina, her girlfriend of two years, Tori Vega. "You're gonna start with that question?"

"Are you refusing to answer, or need to limit the question?" Tori pushed. "Lets say, in the last year, how many times have you been topped by your girlfriend?"

"Dozens of time." Jade told the panel, now sure her girlfriend was putting everything on the table.

"Please be specific." Tori instructed.

"I don't have specifics." The goth snapped.

"I see your temper is gonna be a problem." Tori noted.

"Does anyone else have a question?" Jade asked the room.

The man on the other side of the chief interviewer spoke up. "Um, I had a few about your experience in production, but honestly, I'm more interested in knowing if you can work here, with her, and not loose your shit?"

"You mean, working for my girlfriend?" Jade wondered.

"Yes, that's a part of it." The head interviewer said. "Those of us who know you want to be sure that you'll be able to get past whatever issues we may have in order to get the job done." He adjusted, face stern, and waited a second for the room to catch up. "Will this be a problem?"

"You have a problem with me dating her?" Jade asked back, eyes gesturing towards Tori.

"She's proven to have a decent judge of talent." The man replied, a smugness she'd known her entire life showing through his cold features. "Which is why she trusts me to run the business side of this organization. You, miss West, we need to be sure you can run the production side of this organization, despite only having been in film school for two years…."

"Would have been four if someone would have just admitted I was paying for everything myself, in time for me to have gotten a few scholarships." Jade shot back.

The third person on the interview side felt awkward, a stranger to this whole dynamic that sat around him. "So, if you'll just give us a straight answer, maybe we can judge if you're the best fit for the position."

"Yes, I'm the best fudging person." jade growled.

"Language." Tori warned.

"I SAID…!" The blue eyed girl stopped herself from falling into that pit. "Whats wrong with fudging?"

"We're all adults here." Her father clarified. "We're in the entertainment business. My god, we're finally in a position where vulgar language is acceptable, and you're still swearing like you're on children's television."

"It's okay." Tori said, calming her CEO. "Cat doesn't like the bad words. Jade would have to work with her if she takes over our production department."

"You said I'd be making movies." Jade growled at Tori, before turning on the older man. "And you! You left me to fend for myself, and not only did I find my way to getting my education, to pay for it, I even managed to partially catch up. Only one year behind cause I took loads of overload classes, WHILE building a relationship AND working. I've more then proven that I can handle the job."

Mister West, CEO of Bouncy Latina Entertainment, scribbled notes down on his pad. "Okay, we do accept your work ethic is acceptable." He muttered. "But you've yet to answer the question."

"I didn't count who was on top when." Jade huffed out. "I just, I'm young, living in the moment, enjoying what I can of my youth. And yes, this is a huge opportunity, being in charge of production, making movies and videos and whatever. Directing and producing and creating, all the things I've wanted to do from before my fucking two year stint in the Navy, where things did fucking happen I don't wanna talk about, thank you very much. But I did what I had to in order to have my shot at making movies, so if I have to put up with a less then discreet girlfriend who is trying to hint that she wants to fucking top me, and working for my dad, my dad, who my girlfriend hired cause I don't have a fucking clue why…."

"I hired him because I needed a business man, who I kinda knew, and he just, he was the obvious choice." Tori said.

"He hates the entertainment business." Jade snapped.

The third interviewer spoke. "Which is why he runs the business aspects of the… Business. No other word, really trapped myself there." He chuckled. "But he runs the business side, and you'll help miss Tori run the creative side."

"You running the music side?" Jade asked her girlfriend.

"Actually, I tried, but not my strong suit." Tori admitted. "I got help from Mason, cause this is a sub-label to Neutronium, but in the end…" She blushed. "I want you running that too."

"And why then am I being interviewed abut my love life, by my father of all people, when you want me running that part of the operation?" Jade seemed more then confused.

Her father answered. "There will be power struggles." He explained. "We needed to be sure your relationship could handle the strain of running this large of an operation. And yes, it is small, now, but we're doing practically everything entertainment related. Plus, thanks to miss Vega's success in music, we have backers with very deep pockets. Everything you wanna do, movies and videos and music, we'll be making them all, and that can be a load of work." He narrowed his eyes at her. "Are you up for it?"

"She wants to fuck me in the office." Jade said back.

"Reasonable, given your existing relationship." Her dad said, calm and controlled. "As long as you can maintain the professional relationship while the doors are open."

"Gods help me." Jade groaned.

"I think we're done here." Mister West said. "We'll let you know."

"You have the job." Tori added. "But we do have to go through channels. So, see you in maybe a week?" She offered a big smile. "At work that is. Home, can you pick me up around sixish? Maybe later, cause we're hiring half your staff, for before you start, so you can hit the ground running."

"And I don't get a say?" Jade felt betrayed, hard to do considering the farce she'd just been through.

"That's why we're only hiring half." Her father said. "Now, please, we have a full scheduled for today, so if you can show yourself out, miss West…"

The tall brunet stood up, barely holding onto what little dignity she had, and walked as controlled a pace as she could out to where she could scream, before she went to her car and broke down. Tears flowed as memories of the things that she'd went through in the worst part of her military service mixed with her frustration at finding work, the fact that her father, of all people, had taken a job where he'd be around her all the time, and she was working for Tori Vega. "It's okay." She breathed, letting her body shake as she found some way back to herself. 'God, Tori's gonna apologize, as soon a she realizes how much this hurt me.' Seconds passed as she processed. 'God, she's gonna try and fix things, just because it's what she does. Man, what have I got myself into….?'
