Tori sighed, glancing back at her sister one more time. The older girl had her Cuddle Me Cathy doll, along with a couple of other cherished childhood memories, and was forcing her to do yet another thing she really didn't want to do. 'Trina, do I have to?" She begged, again, only to be met with the stone cold stare of a woman on a mission.

'I'm gonna die, all because Trina wants to make sure Beck stays single.' The singer thought, eyes scanning for her impending doom. Jade wasn't there yet, but Tori knew it was only a mater of time. 'The thing's I do for my happy childhood memories, as well as my rare, impossible to replace bedtime buddy. Man, this totally sucks. No one else had a sister blackmailing them…'

Outside, around the same time, Cat was sitting next to her friend, watching the goth as the younger girl ranted. Threats that Cat knew were overblown, but still very real, poured from the blue eyed girls mouth. "Jade, this is for your own good. Just do as I've asked, and you'll get your precious scissors back." She leaned in, hand close to her mouth, and whispered "But I can't promise Sam will stay patient too long, so your other secret, it's only safe if you do this soon. Like maybe today, or even right now, if you see her. I mean, come on, this whole torturing Tori thing has to end, and we both know this is the best way to stop it."

"How'd you get those pictures anyways?" Jade demanded.

"Beck made me promise never to tell." Cat replied. "So it wasn't from him, even though he was with you when you posed for them. And I don't get it, you make an amazing Snow White, so why hide your Disney princess past?"

"Because it doesn't fit my image." Jade snapped. "Plus, the mouse house, they didn't think I was Disney princess material." She sounded hurt.

"So it has nothing to do with them not wanting to hire Beck as Prince Charming, cause they don't need that many guys walking around, and you'd have been stuck there, alone, all princessed up, with no Beck on your arm?" Cat wondered.

"They never…" Jade tried.

"Just because you're better suited to play death, or some nightmare type creature, doesn't mater, cause Disney doesn't have those characters." Cat jumped on her friends protest. "No, you were offered the roll, cause you look like a chizzing princess." The petite girl glanced around, almost panics. "Sorry about my language."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Beck set me up." She grumbled.

"Shouldn't you be keeping that to yourself?" Cat wondered.

"Not a secret." Jade growled. "So, I do this, I get my stuff back?"

"The scissors, yea." Cat agreed. "And I'll make sure Sam doesn't see any of the pictures you two took. But Beck insisted I hang on to my copies, cause, you know, just in case, cause your…" Cat stopped, looking for the word.

"Go on." Jade almost breathed in, and near by, a freshman felt intimidated, like someone had just tap danced on his grave.

"Sorry, had to find the right word." Cat said. "I think evil…? Just, not right, cause I've seen you do good. So, evil light? Evil like? Come on here, whats the right term to describe a semi-honorable super villain who doesn't wanna destroy the world, just make a few people suffer, cause she thinks it's funny."

"I don't have time for this." Jade grumbled, even as she stood up. "Lets get this over with."

"Yea, lets." Cat agreed, bouncing to her feet. "Just, it's not enough to ask. You have to do it, make an honest effort. And, as I said, the pictures, those stay with us, so you put in the work, make something of this."

"Just kill me." Jade complained to no one.

"And how would I get what I want if we do it that way?" Cat asked, and the goth worried her friend was honestly asking that question.

Inside, Tori had just returned form her fifth trip to the restroom, her escape from this creeping doom her sister had set her up for. 'Great, still not here. Man, I thought the worst part would be the doing, but the waiting its killing me. My nerves are gonna be so shot by the time I face her, and Trina, she doesn't seem to care. Man, how'd I wind up… Oh god, she's here.' Worry and panic flooded her veins, activating Adrenalin, fight or flight, even as she tried to calm down and face this moment. 'Cat's here, Maybe she won't wanna bloody up the hallway with her easily traumatized friend right there?'

Tori started to move towards her target, only to realize Jade was heading towards her. 'In the middle of the hallway? Maybe this is a good thing, cause so many witnesses. So many people to watch me die…'

Jade strode up, moving like a jungle cat, all sleek and dangerous, until she stood only inches from the Latina. Her mouth opened, but for some reason, she forgot how to make words. Of course, that freaked Tori out even more, and the singer glanced back at her sister, hoping for some form of reprieve. But she only met with Trina's grim, unforgiving glare, as well as the promise that Jade was gonna hear this, one way or another. This way, she'd at least get her doll back. "You wanna hang some time?" Tori asked.

"What now?" Jade asked back, her eyes widening, as if she'd been so caught up in her own thoughts she hadn't heard.

"Clearer." Trina said.

"I was thinking, maybe, since your all single right now, maybe you'd like to, I don't know, maybe go on a date with me, if that's all right." Tori gave her best smile, hoping her end would be swift and relatively painless. 'Bet they put it on the slap, and people will watch my final moments for years to come.'

Jade stared at her, hard enough to burn holes through the far wall as shock and surprise danced on the pale face. "You asked me out?' She was starting to sound offended. "You can't just ask me out..."

"Jade, it's okay." Cat said, shouting just a bit. "It still counts." The short girl bounced. "That is, it counts if you say yes."

Tori stopped. "Wait, since when does Cat tell you what to do?"

"Since she has some blackmail on me." Jade whispered, not wanting to upset Beck, who she knew had to be someplace around there. "Wait, why was Trina pushing you?"

"Beck hinted that if you were dating someone, and I was acceptable, he might be interested in a date or two with her." Tori admitted. "So, you're being blackmailed too?"

"I just said that." Jade groaned. "This sucks."

"No, it's great." Tori felt light now. "It means you weren't planning on just killing me in the hallway. Hell, you're going on a date with me, cause Beck's indirectly blackmailing us both. That means, yea, I'll see you Friday, on our date… Or later today, cause you're in several of my classes, but…." She ran in place, way to excited. "I HAVE A DATE WITH JADE!"

Jade glared across at where Beck was sitting, a huge smile on his face, as he mouthed "Your welcome." Then, with the sound of the three toned bell, they headed off to class.

'Not even sure how to get even." Jade griped to herself as she shuffled to class, dark thoughts mixing with a different conflict. 'So, what to wear? And does this mean I have to stop teasing her?'

Beck had been expecting the visits, ever since that morning when his agents had completed their parts of the his plot. The big variable was going to be who showed up first. So imagine his absolute surprise when the first one to show up turned out to be someone not involved in the plot.

"Why?" Rex demanded, oddly speaking for Robbie instead of against him.

"Why what?" Beck asked calmly, even as he began to suspect what the nerdy boy wanted.

"Why'd you use them like that?" Robbie asked.

"No, why blackmail those two into dating?" Rex corrected. "Not that I have any hatred for the ladies loving, cause hot. Only, if you were done with hot and scary, why not hand her off to a man who could handle her?"

"First, I did." Beck told the manikin. "I gave Jade to the only person I knew, possibly the only person I could hope to have found, who can handle her. And I mean, not just love her, but guide her to any level of success. See, when you love someone, sometimes you have to put their needs ahead of your own. Besides, we were done, and I figured, easier to have her owe me then want revenge. Jade, as you know, really big on revenge. This way, her hurt gets a positive outlet, and I get to sleep tonight knowing that the next time I go to bed, Bruno won't get shoved into my trailer." He chuckled. "My dog, the one Jade gave me, he has a thing about tight, unfamiliar spaces. Did you know my dad goes jogging with him every day? Considering how they met, they get along famously."

"I could handle her." Rex insisted.

Beck smiled. "As to why, I think I just explained that." Beck finished.

"No, why put Cat in danger like that?" Robbie repeated.

"Cat wasn't in any danger." Beck said. "At least, no real danger. I mean, sure, we all know what a loose cannon Jade can be. But consider this, even when she shaved Cat's head, it wasn't real. Just a little prosthetics, and some red hair she got from this kid in her fourth period. Guy used to have long, red hair, sucks for him. But I guess, when she recommended that shade to him, he should have known, sooner or later…"

"Why not just ask them?" Robbie shifted. "I mean, sure, Jade can be intimidating, so I could see why Tori would hesitate, but…"

"Jade's stubborn." Beck breathed out. "I realized she'd never accept just being handed off like this. No, she'd want to prove herself, which means her holding on when it's just killing her. And I get it, her dad left her mom, and she was left feeling devastated. But that doesn't mean she only has one potential love, cause lets be honest…." He flashed his smile. "It's one thing to put in the work, quite another to never let go when things aren't working. No, better to hand her off to Tori. Plus, if Trina's right, and I doubt she is, but assuming she is, then Tori and Jade are closer to end game then anything out of a fairy tail." He laughed. "You never knew Jade was such a closet romantic, did you?"

"Kinda obvious." Robbie noted.

"Wait, what?" Rex asked, plastic eyes turning to his partner. "How could it be anything like honest? Hmm? I mean, I personally…"

"Who does Jade think about more then anyone else?" Beck asked. "Think. She always knows what Tori's up to, no mater what. Jade's obsessed with her, and just didn't understand why. But the girl wanted Tori for the longest time, and sadly, not understanding, cause her belief in fairy tales hurt her. Jade held onto the first prince that came her way, ignoring the princess that waltzed into her world, rubbing her boyfriend the very first day. I mean, think about it. Really think. Jade's been obsessed ever since, and then Tori goes and changes the rules on her, and Jade's been playing catch up ever since. The hard part was Tori's feelings, and Trina assured me that dating Jade was well withing Tori's interests."

"Sounds like you did your research." Robbie agreed.

"But Blackmail?" Andre jumped in, letting them know he'd arrived.

"Sometimes, you have to use what leverage you have." Beck said with a shrug.

"Which is why you're still walking." Jade said, and smirked as two grown boys hid behind the third. "Really? You think Robbie would slow me for more then a second?"

"I thought you weren't afraid of anything." Dre said to Beck.

"Yea, but Jade, she bends the rules." Beck told his friend.

"I'm more surprised Robbie stood up to her." Tori noted, and the two boys realized they were surrounded. Beck, predictably, didn't move, while Andre jumped.

"I have less to fear from her then they do." Rob said with a shrug. "In that, I haven't done anything to upset her, and I knew she wasn't that wazzed. I mean, think, it's lunch, and no one's had to chain her to the table to keep her from ripping someone apart."

"It's the beginning of lunch." Jade said, walking calmly up to the boy. "But you're right, I'm calm now. See, I realized, I have so many options for my revenge, and so many targets. I just have to remember to act from the same caring place that I was blackmailed from."

"I still have the pictures." Beck warned her.

"So, it's not like I'm planning anything violent. Just, you know, acting in your best interest." Jade chuckled. "Starting with the agents in this conspiracy. Rob, ask Cat out again. I'll make sure she goes out with you. Just, best behavior, kay?"

"See, not so bad." Robbie agreed.

"Wait for it." Rex warned.

"No hidden surprises, at least not for Rob there." Jade said. "I just don't feel that Cat can afford to make her own decisions on who to date right now, cause she often lets their looks speak the loudest. A good man," She hesitated, "or in this case, boy, they're hard to find…"

"Can't ague with that." Rex said.

"Beck, I'm thinking you need some more singles time." Jade told him.

"Sorry, Dre, but you need a good woman, and while you may be a touch scared of her, that's a positive in this instance." Tori whispered in the musicians ear.

"You're asking Trina out." Robbie interpreted.

"I got that." Andre said. Then, to Tori, "Girl, why you gotta play me like that?"

"So Trina learns not to take my stuff." Tori said. "This is a good thing. No way Beck could appreciate the special that is my sister. But you, you can. Besides, you so owe my family, so…"

Just then an announcement rang out over the school intercom. "Attention Hollywood Arts. Beck Oliver is to remain single and celibate for the next couple of months. This is for your own protection. Please refer to Jade West for details. Thanks you for your cooperation."

"Yea, that stung." Beck said as Jade smirked at him. 'I've had worse…' he thought, but knew better then to ever say it out loud.

Yet another way of getting them together. Had this for a bit, cause I had to let it breath before I served it.

Thoughts.
