Return to New York - Part 3
The door to the lair opened itself in front of Alex, the Turtles, Splinter, April and Casey.
The Battle Shell then raced through the streets until it rammed through the boom gates of Foot headquarters.
Alex, the Turtles and Splinter all faced clones of the Shredder of different shapes and sizes.
"Deciding to finish off the Shredder upon returning to New York wasn't going to be easy. We all knew this."
Eventually, they got into an elevator and clung to the elevator's counter weight cable.
"HANG ON!" Leo shouted before cutting the cable with one of his katanas. Everyone yelped as they shot up the elevator shaft while the elevator itself fell with two of the clones on top. It then crashed and exploded.
The six then entered a room full of mist that had a shrine with five statues, which then came to life, each having control over a different element, surrounding the family of six.
"It would take everything we had, and then some."
The fire mystic formed a fireball, which he threw at Donnie, which he dodged, and then some more while Mikey faced the metal mystic, Raph getting trapped in a bubble of water by the water mystic and both Alex and Leo facing the wind mystic.
Splinter then wielded the Sword of Tengu with his bare hands, which were smoking, slashing waves of energy at the various mystics, defeating them.
They all then exited an elevator that led them directly to the top of Foot headquarters and found themselves facing against the Elite Guard, Hun standing behind the family of six, and Shredder appearing behind the Elite Guard.
Then, as Alex and the Turtles were in the middle of fighting the Elite Guard, the whole room started shaking and the floor cracked open with Stockman popping out in a large cyborg body with most of his arms being weapons of some kind.
"In the flesh." Stockman bragged as he stood in front of Shredder.
"However, we could never have foreseen that the egomaniac that is Baxter Stockman would pop up in an oversized cyborg body, probably because of his fragile ego. Either way, we came to fight to the finish and we will do just that."
In the chamber at the very top of the skyscraper acting as Foot headquarters, Baxter Stockman faced Alex, the Turtles, Splinter, Shredder, Hun, several Foot Ninjas, the Elite Guard and some Foot Tech Ninjas, laughing maniacally.
"Do you know the most beautiful thing about my brilliant plan? I used you, Shredder…" Stockman said, making Shredder's eyes widen. "...to transform me into this ultra cyborg you see before you! A truly superior work of genius! But all good things must come to an end. It's time to bid you adieu!"
He then aimed the triple missile launcher at everyone, priming up to fire.
"INCOMING!" Raph roared before he and his family all jumped out of the way.
Stockman fired free missiles, one of hitting a support beam that made some invisible Foot Tech Ninjas turn visible as they were thrown off and landed on their backs, knocked out.
Back in the lair, April frantically fiddled with her headset.
"Don! You guys okay?" She asked with fear, looking over at Casey, who was listening in. "I'm picking up multiple explosions. Guys! Guys, do you copy?"
Two of the Elite Guard stood on either side of Shredder while Alex, Leo and Raph all lay on one side of the large hole as Donnie stood on the other side with two Foot Ninjas and Mikey helped Splinter up.
"Can't talk right now, April." Donnie replied before he jumped out of the way of another missile, which struck the floor between the two Foot Ninjas, knocking them away. "Kind of busy staying alive!" He then saw a pillar about to fall on top of him. "Call you later!" He then jumped out of the way.
Stockman then approached the Elite Guard, who were all gathered together.
"Out of my way!" He snapped before firing free more missiles at the floor by the Elite Guard, forming a hole that they all fell through.
"Hmm." Stockman hummed as he looked down the hole before looking up, wondering where Shredder went.
Speaking of Shredder, he leapt up at Stockman from behind, nearly landing on his back, but Stockman turned and swatted him away like he was nothing, making him crash into the wall behind where'd he normally sat, ripping the banner hanging on it in half, before falling to the floor.
"Now where did Hun get to?" Stockman questioned before he turned and spotted him next to a torch and walked up to him. "There you are."
Hun grabbed the torch and hit Stockman with it, but it didn't even leave a mark as Stockman grabbed the torch, bending it, before grabbing a hold of Hun.
"I've been so looking forward to this." Stockman admitted right into Hun's face. "It's payback time!"
"NO!" Hun yelled before he was slammed into a pillar, which caved in from his size and the pressure Stockman gave, Hun moaning in pain.
"Oh, that felt good." Stockman grinned before pulling Hun away from the pillar. "Now I'm going to take you apart piece by piece. A lovely irony, wouldn't you say?"
Stockman laughed as Hun struggled in the cyborg hand that wrapped around him.
He then looked up and gasped upon seeing Shredder leap at him, who then slashed at the faceplate with his two pronged gauntlet, making Stockman drop Hun as Shredder landed on the floor. He turned to see the slash marks vanishing.
"WHAT?" He gasped in shock and anger, his red eyes flaring.
"It's a self healing polymer acrylic. Just one of thirty nine patented items I developed using your resources." Stockman bragged, making Shredder snarl in regret. "You made it all possible, Shredder, and didn't suspect a thing, you pompous, overblown ignoramus! But the time has come for you to be reeducated in my brilliance!"
Stockman stretched out his metal hand and grabbed Shredder as Hun ran away. Stockman then slammed Shredder into a pillar, then up against a window before throwing him onto the floor in front of Alex, the Turtles and Splinter, laughing triumphantly.
"It took everything we had to beat the Shredder last time." Raph said as he and his family watched on in shock at what just happened.
"And robonut just took him out in four point five seconds. The Shredder and Hun!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Um, can we go home now?" Mikey asked.
"Not yet, Mikey." Alex replied as Stockman turned his attention to them.
"And now, the freaks and their brat!" He sneered. "It's most fortuitous that you're here, really. You're on my list of parties responsible for recent misfortunes in my life."
"You're the one responsible for all of that the moment you became a criminal and worked for Shredder, you idiot!" Alex spat.
"Be silent, child!" Stockman snapped at him, not wanting to hear his words. "The charges are ruining my genius work, interfering with my brilliant schemes, and hampering my destiny as the world's foremost criminal and scientific prodigy!"
Stockman then fired his flamethrower at the family, who all jumped away in many directions to not get burned.
Both Mikey and Donnie landed near Shredder's table, now crushed apart. They gasped upon seeing Stockman aim his gatling gun at them before firing a barrage of bullets, making Mikey jump aside and Donnie to flip behind the stand the table was on.
Stockman turned to Splinter and fired missiles at as he flipped past a pillar and landed next to a window. He turned and gasped as the pillar, now on fire, fell right in front of him.
Stockman approached him as he cackled, ready to strike him down, but Splinter jumped onto Stockman, whacking his faceplate with his walking stick, but got grabbed by Stockman's normal hand and dropped onto the ground by Stockman's feet.
"Master Splinter!" Donnie cried out as he and Mikey stood and as Stockman lifted Splinter in his hand, upside down.
"NO!" Alex and Leo yelled as they and Raph leapt at Stockman.
Raph kicked Stockman at the same time Alex and Leo slashed their katanas at him, making him drop Splinter.
Raph led Splinter away while Alex and Leo kept slashing at Stockman until they were punched in the faces, knocked onto the floor as Donnie and Mikey struck their weapons at Stockman, but they got knocked away by Stockman's arms.
"Is that all you've got?" Stockman mocked just before he fired more missiles at Alex and Leo, who jumped away in time as the missiles struck the floor.
Then both Donnie and Mikey threw grappling hooks attached to rope, which wrapped around Stockman's legs.
"Rope? You try to stop me with rope? How positively primitive!" Stockman sneered once more.
"I got your primitive right here!" Raph roared as he leapt at Stockman, kicking his face faceplate so hard he got dizzy and tripped from having his legs wrapped up, falling down the hole he climbed out of, screaming as he did so, crashing at the bottom of the hole that reached down several floors.
Alex, the Turtles and Shredder all looked down the hole.
"That's one minor annoyance disposed of." Shredder snarled before he looked at Alex and the Turtles. "Now to finish you fools!"
They all got ready to fight each other when Stockman flew out of the large hole via a jetpack on his back.
"You insufferable nitwits!" He spat at Alex and the Turtles. "Dr. Baxter Stockman is not so easily dismissed! Kiss your shells and ass goodbye, you brats!"
He then fired his flamethrower at them, making them all jump out of the way.
Leo, now with only one katana, leapt at Stockman, who noticed and fired his gatling gun at him, missing him however, and Leo ended up slicing the gun off the arm, landing as it did near him.
"My robotic arm! NO!" Stockman cried out before he fired three missiles, all exploding in front of Leo, who got thrown at a window, knocked out.
"LEO!" Alex cried out before he turned to Stockman with an animalistic growl.
"It's nothing. Just a momentary nuisance." Stockman tried reassuring himself. "My backup systems -"
Shredder charged in and sliced off Stockman's right leg.
"Oh!" Stockman gasped as he now started limping on his left leg.
Alex, Raph, Donnie and Mikey all charged and yelled before they all leapt in the air and kicked Stockman's faceplate, knocking him back and making him crash through a window, falling down the side of the skyscraper.
"This is just a minor setback!" He yelled as Alex and all his turtle brothers watched him fall towards the streets below until he crashed.
"I'm gonna miss that guy. Not!" Mikey remarked as he, his brothers and Splinter all turned to face Shredder, weapons out.
"Alright, Shredder! Let's finish this!" Leo declared, pointing one of his katanas at Shredder.
"I intend to!" Shredder swore, readying his two pronged gauntlet.
But yet again, before anyone could make a move, a window burst open and everyone was knocked back, watching Stockman hover in from the window with his jetpack, laughing smugly and maniacally.
"My internal jet packer ray." Stockman bragged as he looked down at Shredder. "I spared no expense. And why should I? After all, you were footing the bill, Shredder!"
Then he fired three missiles yet again, trying to hit everyone, who were all knocked away from the explosions.
Mikey ended up crashing into a pillar upside down with one of his nunchucks knocked out of his hand.
"Man, can somebody please shut down that giant flying toaster oven?" He begged what pretty much everyone wanted: to put Stockman down permanently.
Donnie got up and turned to see that Stockman fired three missiles at him. He managed to whack two of them away with his staff while the third exploded behind him.
"Maybe we can pull his plug." Donnie suggested. "Alex, Leo, his exosuit's power supply! Those radio power cells on his back!"
"Got it!" Alex acknowledged before he and Leo and charged towards Stockman.
"You peons stand no chance…" Stockman scoffed as he fired missiles to stop Alex and Leo, who kept dodging as they charged at him. "...against my vastly superior intellect.."
The pair then jumped.
"I, Dr. Baxter Stockman, shall -"
"JUST SHUT UP!" Alex roared as he and Leo got behind Stockman and sliced the wires connecting Stockman to his power cells and landed on the floor, Leo putting his katanas away while Stockman fell face first to the floor.
"Finally! Shut him down and shut him up!" Mikey said with relief.
But that relief was short lived as Stockman lifted himself up, sparks forming all over his cyborg body, which was cracked and ruined.
"FOR GOODNESS SAKE! WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO PUT HIM DOWN PERMANENTLY?" Alex roared in absolute annoyance, so sick and tired as he and Leo held their weapons ready.
"I have asked myself that question many times." Shredder admitted as he walked through some smoke.
"That ploy might have worked against a lesser mechanoid…" Stockman bragged as he stood on his left leg. "...but as always, I'm one step ahead in my design work! In addition to the central power nodules, each component of my cyborg armour has its own internal backup power source! HA!"
Alex looked over at the gatling gun and slid over to it.
"Then this should be fully functional! Thank you for telling us, you overconfident cockroach!" He sneered as he lifted the arm and aimed it at Stockman, who turned and looked with horror.
"Oh, no." He gasped before limping away.
"Say goodbye, you idiotic scientist!" Alex roared while Donnie, Raph and Mikey jumped away before Alex fired a missile out of the gatling gun, hitting Stockman and sending him flying out of the skyscraper.
"NO!" He screamed at the top of his lungs as he was launched up into the sky until his cyborg body exploded.
Shredder walked among some of the fire that formed from the fight against Stockman.
"Now, where were we?" He asked, looking at Mikey while Raph and Donnie came up behind the armoured individual. "Oh, yes."
He yelled as he kicked Donnie in the stomach and then Raph at his side, knocking them away before jumping towards Mikey, who noticed and gasped as he curled up, waiting for the inevitable blow.
"MICHELANGELO! NO!" Splinter yelled as he charged towards his son and then jumped up and landed on Mikey's shell, kicking him away as he jumped off, Shredder missing Mikey.
Splinter snarled as he stared down Shredder, who then charged at Splinter, kicking him so hard he got through through the window behind him.
"MASTER SPLINTER!" Mikey cried out.
"NO!" Donnie cried out as well as Alex fell to his knees in horror.
Splinter screamed as he fell down the side of Foot headquarters.
But Leo grabbed a grappling hook, threw it at a pipe that was exposed through a hole, courtesy of Stockman, and held onto the rope as he jumped out after Splinter, diving headfirst until he managed to grab hold of his hand.
He swung across to a nearby building, kicked off of it and swung all the way back up onto Foot headquarters, holding Splinter in his arms and put him against a nearby wall, seeing that he was injured from that kick.
"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT, YOU BASTARD!" Alex raged as he and Donnie charged at Shredder and kicked him through a window and landed in the middle of the outdoor courtyard at the top of the building.
He got to his feet as Alex, Donnie, Mikey and Raph jumped through the window and landed in front of him, staring him down.
"You're gonna be okay, Master Splinter." Leo said as he crouched next to Splinter, holding his walking stick. "We'll get help. I'll get the others."
"No, Leonardo. Worry not. This is no longer about me." Splinter shook his head weakly.
"Master Splinter, I -"
"You must return to the battle. Protect your brothers. Defeat the Shredder. I will be there with you in spirit." Splinter explained weakly, cutting Leo off. "Now go, leave me."
"No, Master Splinter!" Leo argued, not wanting to leave his father's side.
"I know you will lead your brothers well, my son." Splinter assured him as he started getting too tired and in pain to stay awake. "My son, oh…."
Leo sighed before he put his father's walking stick in his hand.
"It's going to be alright." He promised as he stood. "We'll be back for you, I promise. Just hang on."
Splinter looked up at Leo before he finally closed his eyes.
Leo sobbed for a moment, wiping his tears away, before he growled and charged to join the fight to end the Shredder for good.
Raph yelled as he charged at Shredder, jumping at him, only to get kicked in the shell when Shredder stepped aside.
Then both Mikey and Donnie leapt at him as he did to them, the latter kicking and punching them away.
Alex snarled before he charged at Shredder, barely able to dodge a kick by sliding on the ground on his knees, slicing at Shredder's leg, making him roar while Alex turned around and charged at him again, slicing his katana downwards, which Shredder dodged and then tried to punch him, but Alex ducked and sliced at his arm, making Shredder roar again before he ended up kicking Alex in the chest, launching him at a tree.
Meanwhile, Leo put the metal gauntlet on to wield the Sword of Tengu, which he pulled out with its blade glowing bright.
Shredder was about to strike Alex down when he noticed Leo.
"GET AWAY FROM MY BROTHERS, SHREDDER!" Leo yelled as he held the sword over his head, its energy swirling around him.
"The Sword of Tengu!" Shredder gasped in shock.
Alex got out of the way as Leo yelled and pointed the sword at Shredder, shooting out a beam of energy, which struck Shredder, making him crash through a wooden bridge over a pond.
"This cannot be happening." He said with fear as he climbed out. "I cannot lose!"
And so, like the sore loser he is, he approached a small stone column with horns and pressed a button within it.
This caused a section of the skyscraper to open up and several Foot Ninjas flew out on high tech flyers towards the roof.
Back in the lair, April looked at the monitor and saw numerous blips in the air, heading right for the very top of Foot headquarters.
"Guys, can you hear me?" She asked, having not heard from them for a while as Casey looked at the monitor with a drink in his hand. "I've got a dozen or so unidentified flying objects headed your way!"
Back on the skyscraper, Alex and the Turtles looked up at the flyers.
"We see them, April." Donnie replied through his headset. "Problem is, they see us, too."
"SCATTER!" Alex shouted and they all ran as the Foot Ninjas on the flyers started firing at them, all running in different directions.
While the battle kept going, on the rooftop of a nearby building, the blue haired man and the woman with the buzzcut showed up, seeing what was going on.
"They're alive! My son and the Turtles are alive!" The woman cried with tears of joy, seeing that her worst nightmare hadn't come true at all.
The blue haired man activated a hologram to inform the council.
"My Lords, it's Alexander and the Turtles. They're alive. They have engaged the Shredder in the heart of his lair, and they've brought the Sword of Tengu with them." He explained.
"The Sword of Tengu?" The chubby man inquired.
"This could -" The elderly man started.
" - prove disastrous." The woman finished.
"With respect, the Sword of Tengu could be their salvation." The blue haired man argued.
"Or our destruction." The chubby man pointed out.
"Ready your men, Guardian, including the pair." The elderly man ordered.
"See that Alexander and the Turtles are victorious." The woman stressed.
"As you command." The blue haired man replied with a grin, which he shared with the woman next to him before shutting the hologram off.
Back on top of the skyscraper, a Foot Ninja fired a missile from their flyer at Leo, who ran until it struck the ground behind him, launching him in the air and knocking the Sword of Tengu and the metal gauntlet out of his hands, the sword embedded among some stones.
Raph ran towards the edge of the building and leapt at one of the flyers, kicking the Foot Ninja riding it off as he took over.
"Come to papa." He muttered as he chased down one of the other ninjas on a flyer through nearby buildings.
He fired a shot at them, destroying the flyer.
"Yee-haw! I'm starting to get the hang of this!" Raph grinned as the Foot Ninja floated towards the ground with a parachute.
Eventually, Raph found himself being chased as a flyer fired some shots at him from behind, making him turn a corner.
Then the flyer shot a missile, making Raph jump off his flyer, which exploded and he kicked another ninja off their flyer, landing on a rooftop, and took over.
Back at Foot headquarters, Shredder spotted the Sword of Tengu and approached it, only for both Alex and Leo to block him, their weapons out.
"Ah, Alexander and Leonardo. It is unfortunate that you both did not join me when I offered you the chance." Shredder pondered. "You could have served me well."
"We'd rather fall in battle with honour than serve you!" Leo spat.
"And you deserve to rot in hell for all that you have done!" Alex snarled.
"So be it!" Shredder snarled back as he took a step backwards. "Elite ninja to me!"
He stepped aside as smoke formed behind him before all five Elite Guard appeared, all in fighting poses with their weapons.
"Finish this!" Shredder ordered with his arms folded, so sure they'd beat Alex and Leo with ease.
Both Alex and Leo growled as the Elite Guard all jumped towards the pair, surrounding them.
Alex and Leo were back to shell and blocked three of the Guards each with their katanas before shoving them back.
Leo ducked the battle axe while Alex did the same with the nagamaki, blocking their weapons right after.
Back with Raph, he was now chased by three Foot Ninjas on flyers, all firing shots at him, one of them managing to hit his flyer, making him grit his teeth.
But then a missile hit one of the flyers, destroying it and making the ninja jump off and grab onto a flagpole on the side of a building.
Raph turned to the other two, being joined by a third.
A second missile, coming from Stockman's gatling gun, fired and struck one of the flyers, knocking the other two off course.
"Huh?" Raph muttered before he looked to see that the missiles were courtesy of Donnie. "Yo, Donnie!" He gave him a thumbs up.
"Don't thank me. Thank Stockman." Donnie shrugged as he waved back.
Leo blocked both the Guards with the double bladed sword and the spear as Alex blocked the one with the nagamaki before Leo kneed the one with the sword in the face, knocking him away before Alex jumped and kicked the nagamaki's Guard away with both feet, crashing into the pond.
He then kicked the Guard with the spear in the head as he was trying to kick Leo's shell before he blocked the Guard with the trident, even jumping over a kick for his feet, flipping and kicking the top of his head.
Soon, he and Leo got surrounded by the five Elite Guards again.
Nearby, Shredder was about to reach for the Sword of Tengu.
"GERONIMO!" Raph cried out from above, jumping off his flyer, which crashed into another flyer, making the Foot Ninja riding it float down with a parachute.
Shredder gasped before jumping away as the destroyed flyers crashed directly on top of the Sword of Tengu.
Raph landed alongside Alex and Leo with his sais wielded.
"Hey, save some for me, you two." He said as Leo ducked to avoid the Guard with the battle axe and Alex blocked the Guard with the double bladed sword.
"We can finish this, Raph!" Leo snapped at Raph, who blocked the Guard with the spear.
"I know, but where's the fun in that, bro?" Raph argued as he kept blocking the Guard with the spear until Donnie came in, kicking the Guard away and joined his side.
"We're family!" Donnie noted as Mikey soon joined his brothers.
"We shall finish this together!" He finished. "Besides, the cable's out of the lair anyway!"
He jumped at the Guard with the battle axe, blocking a swing with one of his nunchucks, twisting it around the axe before kicking the Guard in the stomach.
Leo ducked from the Guard with the trident before he ended up slicing both ends up and kicked the Guard away in the chest.
Alex faced the Guard with the nagamaki yet again, their weapons clashing before the Guard shoved Alex back and swung his weapon down, only to hit the ground when Alex stepped aside, who then kicked the Guard's chest and struck the back of his head with the pommel of his katana really hard, knocking him out onto the Guard with the trident.
Raph blocked the Guard with the double bladed sword with his sais before pulling it down as Donnie blocked the Guard with the spear before he kicked him in the face, knocking him away into the Guard Raph faced, who he kicked away, making them crash into each other and get knocked out and fall on top of the Guards Alex and Leo took down.
Leo jumped above a swipe from the Guard with the battle axe and swung one of his katanas down on him, crashing him into the other Guards, who Alex and the Turtles gathered around.
Shredder, so desperate to wield the Sword of Tengu, searched through the wreckage of the two flyers and the fire.
"The sword! I must have it!" He shouted as Alex and the Turtles approached.
"It's over, Shredder!" Leo snarled, making Shredder turn towards them and laugh.
"What's so funny, you sore cheesegrater?" Alex sneered.
"You are fools!" Shredder sneered back. "This is my fortress, my stronghold! Did you believe you could defeat me here?"
He then turned a stone orb on a dragon statue next to him, which made a part of the ground open up and a platform rose up with a legion of fresh and ready Foot Ninjas while Shredder stood behind them like a coward.
"Of course he'd pull a trick like this the moment it seems like he's lost." Alex spat with contempt, considering that he and the Turtles are all starting to get really tired from all the fighting they went through all night.
"Nobody said it was gonna be easy." Raph pointed out as he held his sais up, ready for another round of fighting.
He and his brothers all got ready just as the blue haired Guardian landed in front of them.
"Easy? No. But perhaps we can offer you a little assistance." He told them all, most being confused about who he was, though Alex and Leo already knew him.
"We?" Raph repeated in confusion.
That was when many more Guardians appeared, including the woman with the buzzcut. And amongst them, much to the brothers' shock, were a couple of mutants, both of whom looked to be their age.
One of them was a tall and muscular male Bengal tiger that wielded a ninja machete and wore a cyan t-shirt with a brown vest over it, an azure scarf and brown trousers.
And the other was a rather fit and curvaceous female arctic fox with dark pink face paint over her eyes in the shape of a butterfly, wielding a pair of kamas and wore dark wrappings that went up to her upper arms, a dark sleeveless shirt that had a hood with a breastplate across her chest and dark trousers.
"Hello, handsome." The arctic fox greeted Alex with a wink and a wag of her fluffy tail, which left Alex blushing and stunned.
"Now isn't the time, sis." The tiger reminded her as they all stood. All the Guardians pulled out their swords, which all glowed up.
"You must hurry. We can't allow Shredder to wield the Sword of Tengu." The woman with the buzzcut told Alex and Leo.
"Just leave him to us." Alex told her before he and Leo charged ahead towards Shredder, who went back to search for the sword.
"Guardians, go!" The blue haired man told his fellow guardians and both the arctic fox and tiger, who all leapt in amongst the ninjas, making short work of them, both the arctic fox and tiger working together like a well oiled machine as they took down several Foot Ninjas.
Both Alex and Leo watched as Shredder desperately dug through the wreckage for the Sword of Tengu.
"The sword! The sword!" He yelled, throwing a couple of bits of wreckage away while the rest of the brothers joined Alex and Leo.
Soon, Shredder came across the handle of the Sword of Tengu, which he pulled out, glowing as he held it up, sending its energy throughout his body.
"Ah, the power!" He said with glee. "I had almost forgotten the Sword of Tengu. The sword with which I laid villages to waste, brought castles to ground, vanquished armies! The sword I used to conquer Japan and give power to the Tokugawa Clan! It is mine once more!"
He then fired a beam at Alex and the Turtles, which sent them flying in all directions.
Both Alex and Leo crashed under the broken window that the latter and Donnie kicked Shredder through, Raph landed by the large doors to the large chamber, Mikey rolled towards a wooden pillar and Donnie landed near the wreckage of the flyers and the metal gauntlet for the Sword of Tengu, which he noticed and grabbed as he gritted his teeth.
The female Guardian spin kicked a couple of Foot Ninjas away before she looked over to see Shredder walking up the steps towards Raph, who groaned as he looked up to see him point the Sword of Tengu at him, ready to fire a beam directly into his face.
"NO!" Alex and Leo cried out as they deflected the sword upwards, making the beam shoot up into the sky.
Shredder started pressing down the Sword of Tengu on the pair, who struggled to keep it away, though Alex had a surge of adrenaline that allowed him to shove the sword up and allow him to kick Shredder back as Raph got up with his sais and kicked Shredder back as well, giving his katana wielding brothers a moment to collect themselves.
Then all the brothers gathered together and ducked when Shredder swiped the Sword of Tengu at them.
"Get in close, guys! That's the way!" Alex told his brothers before flipping away from a beam of energy Shredder shot at him and stood with his brothers who got back on their feet.
They unleashed a battle cry before charging at Shredder, jumping or rolling away from another swipe from Shredder, both Alex and Leo kicking Shredder in the chest and head, which made him stumble back before shooting another beam at the brothers, who all jumped out of its way.
Alex leapt in and pinned the Sword of Tengu down with his katana, allowing Raph to slot the sword between the points of one of his sais and throw it up in the air out of Shredder's grip.
Donnie then placed his staff behind one of Shredder's legs and Mikey launched himself at Shredder's chest, making him trip over Donnie's staff and crash into the wreckage of the two flyers.
Leo looked up at the Sword of Tengu as it spun in the air and dug his katanas into the ground and boosted himself up to grab it.
"Leo, catch!" Donnie shouted, throwing the gauntlet to him.
Leo caught it and put it on before grabbing the Sword of Tengu.
Shredder stood as he saw Leo now dive right for him, jumping away in time, making Leo stab into the ground.
Alex jumped to Leo's side while Shredder landed by Leo's katanas, pulling them out and wielding them.
He stared down Alex and Leo, who stared back at him, their eyes narrowing in anger.
Alex and Leo clenched their weapons tighter as Shredder did with Leo's katanas.
Then they jumped at each other and once they were close enough, they sliced their weapons at one another before landing back on the ground, Shredder standing and both Alex and Leo crouching.
They turned their heads and watched as Shredder's head and arms fell off, the former rolling towards the debris of the flyers and the latter's hands letting go of Leo's katanas. Then the body fell to its knees and onto its chest, Shredder now seemingly dead.
Leo put the Sword of Tengu away as he and Alex walked up to Shredder's amputated and decapitated body, Leo grabbing his katanas, and their brothers joined their side.
The Guardians, arctic fox and tiger stood over the Foot Ninja they all defeated, all moaning and groaning in pain, before putting their weapons away and saw what had happened to Shredder.
"They've done it!" The blue haired man said in disbelief. "They've defeated the Shredder! Incredible."
"Truly." The arctic fox grinned as she eyed up Alex before all of them bowed to Alex and the Turtles and disappeared into the night.
In the lair, April and Casey had learned of what had just happened.
"They did it! Yes! They did it!" She cheered, standing up and hugging Casey, which surprised him.
"Whoo-hoo!" He cheered as well, hugging her back.
Back at Foot headquarters, Donnie looked through the wires of Stockman's gatling gun, his brothers approaching him as he did so.
"Just one thing left to do." Leo said, now holding the Sword of Tengu.
"Making sure the Foot can't use this building again." Alex agreed with him as Donnie realised something.
"Stockman's radium power cells…" He started before running towards a shrine where a power generator was placed. "...coupled with the power of the Sword of Tengu should fry most of the tech in this building."
He connected a couple of wires to the generator, which formed sparks.
"Let her rip, Leo!" He then said, giving a thumbs up.
Leo powered up the Sword of Tengu before he stabbed it into the gatling gun.
It formed a light so bright that Alex and his brothers backed away.
The power of the sword travelled through the wires and into the generator, shooting bolts of lightning into the sky and then course through the skyscraper.
The Control Room lit up like a Christmas tree before everything inside powered down, the armoury had jolts of electricity travelling throughout, shutting everything down, including the weapons and the genetics lab lit up as it powered down as well.
Eventually, the power surge was just too much for the Sword of Tengu and it shattered into many pieces, causing the lightning and electricity to stop, leaving the top of the building burning in flames.
The five brothers all looked down at the gatling gun, surrounded by the flames.
"Let's get Master Splinter and go home." Leo told his brothers.
But when they walked over to where Leo put Splinter, all they came across was his walking stick.
"Hey, wait a minute! I don't understand." Leo said in shock as he crouched down at the walking stick. "I left him right here. He was in no shape to move."
"How can he be gone?" Mikey questioned in confusion.
Meanwhile, the sound of sirens rang in the city air.
Donnie ran to the edge of the building and looked down to see police cars, a fire truck and an ambulance directly below.
"Guys, we can't stay here." He informed his brothers. "We have to go."
"I guess it's a good thing we're next to a helicopter." Alex said, pointing at said helicopter next to them.
Donnie ran towards it as Leo grabbed Splinter's walking stick.
After having hotwired the helicopter, Donnie flew it with his brothers piled in, heading as far away from Foot headquarters as possible.
"We did it, Leo." Raph said. "We defeated Shredder."
"But the price was too high." Leo pointed out sadly, fearing the worst for their father.
"You don't think Master Splinter is…?" Mikey asked, not finishing his sentence.
"He can't be, Mikey. He just can't be." Alex coolly shook his head, refusing to believe that Splinter had passed on. He had to be alive. He had to be.
Donnie continued piloting the helicopter into the night.
Back at Foot headquarters, as the fires kept burning at the top of the building, Shredder's arms somehow reconnected back to its body, which then rose up onto its feet and picked up its head before walking through the fire.
It would seem that the fight of Alex and the Turtles vs the Shredder isn't over. In fact, this truly felt like the true beginning for even more battles to come.
SURPRISE! ALOPEX AND TIGER CLAW ARE IN THE HOUSE! And as you can guess, based on their interactions, Alex will end up with Alopex.
In terms of who I'll have as the voices of Alopex and Tiger Claw, they'll be Zendaya and Christopher Sabat (his Piccolo voice). Remember, Tiger Claw is also a teenager, he just has a deeper voice.
Also, I apologise for not having uploaded for several days. I just needed a break from writing this story non-stop since late August.
