Alex, Raph and Cub

It's late at night and both Alex and Raph were in an alleyway, being surrounded by members of the mob, who were all dressed in black, and the two had a young boy crouched behind them as they held their weapons out.

The various mobsters all had baseball bats, pipes or chains in their hands as they approached Alex and Raph.

"This is gonna be a long night. The first reason being that me and Raph have to deal with these wannabe tough guys, your standard mob thugs. Now, they usually aren't a problem."

"Hand him over!" One of the mobsters demanded, standing out from the rest as he was bald and wore a dark red suit with a rather ugly tie.

"But, of course, they connect with the second problem."

"Come and get me, creepo!" The boy dared, making Alex and Raph look down at him and then at each other, shaking their heads.

"This kid has been nothing but a nuisance and difficult to work with, which is hard since these losers want him so badly."

Eventually, the mobsters were close enough that they started attacking Alex and Raph, making the boy run for cover.

Raph blocked a pipe as Alex blocked a baseball bat. Raph kicked the mobster away, making them crash into another behind them and Alex elbowed the other in the stomach before punching his face and kicked him in the crotch, making him fall to his knees and curl up on the floor.

Four more thugs charged at the pair. One of them swung a fist at Raph, who caught it with ease, allowing Alex to spin kick the thug's face, throwing him back at the other three, making them crash into the floor.

The bald mobster gasped and pulled out a flashbang grenade out of his jacket, primed it, and threw it right at the boy, who was pressed up against a wall, gasping before covering his face with his arms.

Both Raph and Alex saw this and jumped in front of the boy just as the grenade exploded right in front of them, making a smokescreen.

"As I said, this is gonna be a long night."

In the lair, Donnie was working in his lab, which was now permanently moved into the wrecked subway car they moved into the lair while Alex, Leo, Mikey and April (currently wearing a black top and beige blazer with the sleeves rolled up) were looking at maps and papers as Raph took his frustrations out on a practice post.

It has been several days since the battle at Foot headquarters, where they seemed to have defeated Shredder, but also where Splinter had disappeared. They've been trying to find him and so far, nothing.

After Raph took a moment to catch his breath, he looked over to the others looking over the maps and a nerve was struck as he roared so much while spinning the practice post that they all looked at him.

"You okay, Raph?" Leo asked concerningly.

"Yeah, you've angrier than usual." Alex pointed out.

"How can you sit around talking when he's out there somewhere, maybe hurt bad?" Raph snapped at them as he stormed up to them.

"Because we can't just storm our way through the whole city, Raph. We have to organise the search!" Alex explained.

"Exactly, which includes everything we know." Leo added.

"But we don't know anything!" Raph snapped.

"Well, we do know that when we were fighting the Shredder, Master Splinter took a major hit for me." Mikey reminded him as Donnie walked out of his lab.

"And when we looked for him after the fight, he just wasn't there." He added as April turned back to the table.

"I've been scanning the police band for anything like a giant rat sighting. Nothing." She sighed in frustration.

"So we should be out there looking for him!" Raph barked, storming off.

"We have been, Raph, but Master Splinter could be anywhere." Leo pointed as he and Alex walked after him.

"And we can't just blindly search through the whole city!" Alex argued.

"Yes, we can. One block at a time." Raph argued against him as he pulled his sais out of the padding wrapped around one of the pillars.

"Raph, not a good time for the hothead thing." Mikey tried to talk him down as Donnie was now back in his lab, working on the engine for the Battle Shell.

"The Battle Shell's a couple hours away from being street ready after the beating it took. We could cover more ground." Donnie pointed out.

"It's okay. Go blow off some steam, Raph. Maybe you'll find something out there." Leo suggested.

"Count on it." Raph replied as he cracked his knuckles before leaving the lair.

"I'll go with him to make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble." Alex told Leo. "You know what he's like when he's on his own."

"Okay. Just be careful." Leo nodded as he watched Alex catch up to Raph.

Raph ran along some rooftops during the clear New York night with the full moon out, jumping from one to another.

"Sit around talking all night." He muttered bitterly before he jumped onto a rooftop and stopped to catch his breath.

He then heard someone land behind him, making him turn to see Alex.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Tagging along." Alex replied. "And stop treating all of us like we're not worried about Master Splinter, because we are!"

"Then you should all be out here looking for him, not looking over maps!" Raph argued.

"And just storming up and down New York blindly is gonna help?" Alex argued back. "We can't let our emotions cloud our actions right now, because they'll just cause problems."

"How can you say that?" Raph questioned him.

"Because I can't let mine take over!" Alex barked at him. "Remember when I thought you and the others were all gone when we were underground? You saw what I was like!"

Raph's eyes widened and remembered very well. He saw just how full of rage Alex was when he first met that sole survivor. He might've actually killed him if he and the others didn't reveal themselves.

And that was when he thought he lost all his brothers. So he can't imagine what Alex is feeling knowing that Splinter's missing.

"You're right. I'm sorry." Raph apologised. "I'm just scared that Master Splinter's… you know…."

"I know, we all are. We just need to focus on the task at hand and search for him." Alex said, placing a hand on Raph's shoulder. "Come on, let's continue blowing off steam, I need it just as much as you."

"Okay." Raph nodded and they went off to run and jump across more rooftops.

At some point, they stopped on another rooftop to catch their breath once more when they heard a noise nearby.

"What the -?" Alex muttered quietly.

The pair ran over to the other side of the rooftop and looked down into an alleyway, where they saw some flashlights shining down it.

"Hello. What do we have here?" Raph questioned.

In the alleyway, several men in black suits held flashlights and seemed to be searching for something or someone, knocking over several boxes and crates, getting angry as they hadn't found what they were looking for.

"Hurry it up and find him!" A bald man with sunglasses, a dark red suit and ugly tie, as well as a red beard on his chin, said. "The boss needs this tied up tonight if he's gonna make his bid for the top. And when the boss moves up, we all move up."

Alex and Raph ran alongside the rooftop before jumping onto another one and then jumping down into the alley, where they hid behind some bins.

They watched as one of the men pulled out a piece of cardboard out of a dumpster before slamming its lid shut and walking off to join the rest.

Then the lid opened back up slightly and the pair gasped upon seeing a young boy hiding inside.

"Need I remind youse what'll happen if we fails to recapture our quarry? Find him!" The bald man snapped at the other men.

"He ain't here." One of them told him.

"Then try the next alley!" The bald man replied before they all headed off.

The boy, much to Alex and Raph's frustration, lifted the lid further to get out.

"No, no, stay hidden, you stupid, little -" Alex hissed quietly.

The boy peeked around the wall, looking at the men, unaware that a lamp behind him fell off the dumpster and smashed apart.

The boy gasped and shut the lid, hiding back in the dumpster as the men ran towards the sound.

"Come out, come out, wherever youse are." The bald man called out as he shined his flashlight on the dumpster.

The boy then lifted the lid up slightly, peeking out, which further frustrated Alex and Raph.

"No, kid, no. Stay down." Raph whispered as Alex's neck clenched so much the veins were visible.

"Time to stop playing hide and seek, kid." The bald man sneered.

Alex and Raph looked at each other, knowing they had to do something, so they pulled their weapons out and jumped on top of the dumpster and then in front of the men.

"You losers should be the ones hiding." Alex snarled as he twirled his katana.

"Whoa!" The boy gasped upon peeking out and seeing Alex and Raph.

"We'll give you three." Raph warned them as he twirled his sais. "One…."

"Whoa! Wrong time of the year for Halloween, freak." The bald man mocked Raph's appearance.

"Two…." Alex counted as Raph stopped twirling his sais.

"Okay, boys. Time to peel this guy out of his monster suit and teach this punk a thing or two." The bald man sneered as his goons closed in on Alex and Raph.

"Three!" Raph finished before he and Alex jumped in the air.

"Whoa." The boy gasped in amazement.

Alex and Raph leapt at a couple of goons, kicking them in the chest before they easily dodged a couple of punches and kicked a couple more goons away.

The bald man was pressed against the wall in shock as the pair then sliced through pipes and chains that some of the goons used and took them down within a second.

"Who's next?" Alex asked as he and Raph stared down the remaining goons and the bald man.

"Yeah, boys, don't be shy. There's plenty for everybody." Raph then said with an eager grin.

"What are you?" The bald man asked Raph.

"I am Green Vengeance." Raph bragged, which made Alex cringe and facepalm.

"Now that's just lame, even by Mikey's standards." He groaned.

"Yeah, what's up with that?" The bald man actually agreed with Alex.

"Alright, never mind." Raph said, now moving on. "Don't like green, huh? How about black and blue?" He started twirling his sais.

"Much better." Alex said, twirling his katana.

"Get them!" The bald man ordered the goons.

The boy watched as the pair took care of the goons with ease, including slamming a door right into their face and Raph knocking down a neon sign with his sais, falling down on three goons, who jumped out of the way.

Alex and Raph fist bumped each other before Raph went to grab his sais.

"Oh, no! Let's book!" One of the goons said as he got up and they all ran away.

"Really? We were just getting started, you losers." Alex moaned playfully as the goons ran away scared.

Nearby, in the shadows, the bald man watched on as he pulled a phone out and made a call to his boss.

"Boss, uh, we got us a problem." He said.

Within a dimly lit office, ripped right out of a classic gangster movie, which included a punching bag, boxing trunks, a belt and a boxing poster, his boss sat at his desk.

"Just tell me you got the kid." His boss replied.

But then the bald man explained how his men got their asses kicked.

"WHAT?" His boss roared furiously. "How many of them were there?"

The bald man replied that it was only two people.

"TWO?" His boss roared again before slamming his fist on his desk and stood to walk over to the window. "Hey, you listen, Weasel, and listen good. You get an army if you have to, but bring me that kid. There's a gang war coming now that the Shredder's out of the picture, and nothing's gonna stand in my way. Nothing!"

Back with Alex and Raph, they went back to the dumpster the boy was hiding in.

"Kid, it's okay. We won't bite." Raph called out to him. "We're the good guys, honest."

The boy lifted the lid up and glared at the pair.

"Come on, let's get you out of there. Don't be scared." Raph then said before the boy got out of the dumpster on his own, glaring at them with his arms folded.

"What's your name?" Alex asked, only to get no response.

"Well?" Raph asked as he leaned in on the boy's face.

Then, much to his and Alex's surprise, the boy punched Raph in the face.

"OW!" Raph yelped, rubbing his nose. "Cute."

"Great, he's one of those kids." Alex muttered as he rolled his eyes, seeing that this boy was one that tried to act tough.

"Now just calm down." Raph told the boy, only to get punched in the face again. "OW!"

"Will you stop that? It's getting old real quick!" Alex snapped at the boy.

"Yeah, especially since we're now past the scared part." Raph said before he got punched in the face again. "AAH!"

The boy was about to punch Raph again, but Alex grabbed his forearm and glared at him.

"You listen here, keep that up and you'll get the asswhooping of the century." He warned him.

"What are your names?" The boy asked him and Raph.

"Alexander." Alex replied as he folded his arms.

"Raphael." Raph replied as he held the boy's shoulders. "So, kid, what'd you do to tick off those goons?"

"Don't call me kid!" The boy snapped as he shoved Raph's hands off. "I'm Tyler. And I can handle this myself!"

"No, you won't, you're just gonna get yourself hurt or killed with that attitude." Alex scolded him.

"But if you don't want to tell us, fine." Raph shrugged as he and Alex turned around. "We'll just get you someplace safe, and then we're out of here."

Tyler ran off as soon as he could.

"The little brat just ran off." Alex told Raph, his ears picking up the sound of his rapid footsteps.

"Great." Raph muttered.

Tyler kept running down the alley, briefly looking behind him, only to run right into Raph's plastron, knocking him onto his butt. He looked up to see him leaning against the wall as he twirled one of his sais and Alex stood with his hands on his hips.

"You can never sneak away from ninjas, kid." Alex told him.

"Leave me alone!" Tyler shouted angrily.

"So that you'd get yourself into trouble with those mob goons because you're too irresponsible and reckless to seek help?" Alex raised an accusatory eyebrow.

"Exactly. You're just a kid You're gonna get hurt." Raph further pointed out.

"I told you, don't call me kid!" Tyler snapped. "And you're not the boss of me!"

"Well, guess what, you little brat, we're older and more responsible than you, therefore, we can boss you around!" Alex snapped back, his face right in Tyler's.

A bit later, Alex and Raph, the latter carrying Tyler under his arm, walked down an alley that led to a street where the police station was on the other side of the road.

"Now, there's the police station. For obvious reasons, we can't go in there." Alex told Tyler, who was put down by Raph, who crouched in front of him.

"Just tell 'em where you live, and they'll get you home." Raph then told the boy.

"But -"

"Get going!" Raph cut him off.

"And no funny business, because we'll be watching to make sure you do go in there." Alex warned him.

Tyler turned around and started walking across the street and stopped right in front of the doors to the police station, where he turned to look at Alex and Raph, both of whom waved him on. He then opened the door and entered.

"Ah, kids." Raph sighed before he and Alex turned to walk away.

"I thought you hated kids." Alex pointed out.

"You're right, I do." Raph replied, making Alex snort.

But then Tyler opened the door and ran out of the station, down the road and into an alleyway until he was grabbed by the shirt by Raph.

"Hey!" He whined until he was lifted up and both Alex and Raph glared at him.

"Why can't you do as you're told? Because if you don't we'll keep this up all night, and we have the time to do so, you know." Alex said as they turned around to head back to the police station.

"And we'll get more honked off every time!" Raph snarled.

"Alright. Alright. Okay." Tyler finally caved in and Raph put him down, he and Alex crouching down to his eye level.

"It started today after school." Tyler started off.

He was in the living room of his home, playing with a toy bus and watched an entry in the Lone Wolf and Cub film series.

"I got my homework done, so my sitter let me watch my favourite movie of all time."

A woman wearing glasses then entered through a door and Tyler ran to her, being lifted up and the two hugged each other.

"Then my mom came home. She was real happy. She's a reporter, and she got a tape recording of a bad guy that was gonna put him in jail, and she was gonna be famous."

Later, Tyler was asleep in his bedroom, but was startled awake when he heard a door slamming and something shattering.

"But I guess the bad guys found out about the tape."

A door got kicked in and several mobsters, including Weasel, entered.

"And they wanted it real bad."

Tyler's mother ran to her son's room and opened the door to enter and got grabbed by the arm by one of the mobsters.

"But mom knew they'd get rid of us if she gave it to 'em, so she didn't."

Later, the mobsters took Tyler and his mother to a warehouse in a car, the two of them sitting in the back between Weasel and another mobster.

"She told me I had to be brave."

His mother turned to him and handed him the tape.

"She gave me the tape and told me to run."

"Mom, I'll be back for you, I promise." Tyler swore just as the car stopped.

The mobster that sat next to his mother got out and pulled her out by the arm while Weasel did the same with Tyler.

"Come on, you little - AH!" Weasel shrieked in pain when Tyler kicked him in the knee and ran off.

"Hey, after him!" Weasel ordered as Tyler ran down an alleyway. "Somebody grab that little brat!"

"And that's pretty much when you two showed up." Tyler finished his story.

"You're being serious when you say these mobsters took your mother?" Alex asked as he and Raph stood back up.

"Yeah, and I'm going back and kick all their butts!" Tyler swore.

"Bad idea." Raph said sternly with a finger pointed at him. "Look, kid - " Tyler's face scrunched up. "Uh, Tyler, look, if your story is true, me and Alex will promise to get your mom out. But first, we gotta get you to a safe place."

"No way! You're not dumping me!" Tyler snapped at him.

"But we can't have you face those mobsters on your own! It's too dangerous for someone your age! It's like you have a death wish, or something!" Alex groaned, making Tyler start crying.

Alex and Raph sighed, both realising that Tyler had to be acting like this because he was just worried for his mother, just like how they're worried about Splinter.

"Look, Tyler, we know how you feel." Alex said softly.

"Yeah, our dad's missing. Us two and our brothers are trying to find him and then we both found you." Raph further said.

"Really?" Tyler asked, surprised to hear this.

"Really." Alex and Raph repeated.

"Aww. This is truly touching!" They heard a voice and turned to see that Weasel and his goons have found them. "The poor little freak and brat are missing their daddy."

Both Alex and Raph turned around and saw that both ends of the alleyway were blocked by mobster goons, all with weapons like pipes, baseball bats and chains.

The pair pulled out their weapons, ready to fight, as Tyler stood behind them with the goons closing in on them.

"Hand him over, now!" Weasel demanded.

"Come and get me, creepo!" Tyler dared before got out from behind Alex and Raph. "I'll kick their butts!"

Raph flipped one of his sais to lift Tyler off his feet using the handle under his shirt and put him down beside him and Alex.

The pair then blocked a couple of goons with a pipe and baseball bat before kicking them away, knocking them into a couple more goons before Alex elbowed another in the stomach before punching him in the face and then kick him in the crotch, making him fall to the floor, curling up in pain.

Four more charged at them, swinging a fist, which Raph caught, allowing Alex to spin kick the goon in the face, making him crash into the other three.

Seeing that his men were getting wrecked, Weasel pulled out a flashbang grenade from his suit, pressed a button to set it off, and threw it directly at Tyler, who gasped as he pressed up against a wall.

Both Alex and Raph gasped upon seeing this and jumped in front of Tyler to cover him, but they didn't have enough time to cover their eyes as the grenade exploded right in their faces, making a smokescreen.

The two coughed as they fell to their knees, realising another problem: they couldn't see a thing.

"Oh, no. We're blind!" Alex said with slight distress as he and Raph stood. Alex was so glad he had special training from Splinter to rely on his other senses if he ever ended up in a situation like this after he started reading Daredevil comics.

Tyler gasped as Weasel, now with a knife out, and his goons closed in on the three of them.

"Kid, where are you?" Raph asked. "I'm dizzy and we can't see a thing!"

"Right behind you!" Tyler replied.

"We gotta get you outta here." Raph said, reaching out for Tyler and carrying him under an arm as he and Alex pulled out their weapons.

"If you two run straight, there's a skinny guy dead ahead." Tyler told them.

Both Alex and Raph charged ahead, making the goons all step out of the way.

"Whoa! Watch out! Turn that way!" Tyler told them.

"Which way? Left or right? We're blind, remember?" Alex snapped at Tyler.

"Right!" Tyler replied and the pair made a sharp right turn, barely missing the wall in front of them and started getting chased by the goons.

As they were being chased down the alleyway, Tyler saw a fire escape.

"Alexander, get behind Raphael! Raphael, put your left hand up!" He told the pair.

"Why?" Raph asked as he and Alex put their weapons away and the latter got behind Raph.

"Just do it!" Tyler insisted.

Raph did as he was told and his hand touched the ladder of the fire escape.

"Got it!" Raph said and Alex jumped off his shell and started climbing up wordlessly as Tyler shouted "Climb!"

"Hang on, kid!" Raph told Tyler as he jumped onto Raph's shell as he started climbing up the fire escape as well.

The goons then started climbing after them, dropping their weapons to do so.

Weasel started laughing, thinking they'll grab Tyler soon enough.

"Tyler, where's the fire escape bolted to the wall?" Alex asked.

"Here." Tyler said, grabbing Alex's hand and placing it on the bolt on the wall next to the side railing.

"Raph, I need one of your sais." Alex said, reaching for Raph and grabbed a sai. "Climb up to the roof. I'll handle this."

"Got it." Raph nodded and both he and Tyler climbed onto the rooftop while Alex put the sai against the bolt as he grabbed onto the ladder.

He then used the sai like a crowbar to force the bolt out, making the goons below gasp.

Alex finally managed to pull the bolt out and when he held onto the ladder with both hands, he kicked the fire escape before climbing up, making the whole thing fall onto the ground with the goons on it, all hurt badly.

"Ah! Losers! Find another way up!" Weasel snapped at them. "They're getting away!"

After Alex handed Raph's sai back, they, with Tyler being carried by Raph, started making their way across rooftops.

"Okay, keep going straight. There's a step coming up." Tyler told them.

After a while, Tyler ended up escorting both Alex and Raph towards the edge of a rooftop near a warehouse that had a couple of goons standing outside, like guards.

"Hey, Tyler, where you taking us, kid?" Raph asked impatiently.

"Just a little further." Tyler replied.

Soon, both Alex and Raph sat against the wall on the edge of the rooftop while Tyler looked down at the warehouse.

"This is it. This is the place where they got my mom." Tyler informed them.

"Tell us what you see, then." Alex requested.

Tyler looked and noticed the two goons that were acting as guards.

"I see a couple of goons whose butts I'm gonna kick!" He said and turned to run off, but Raph grabbed him.

"Whoa, there, quick draw!" He told the boy. "You better take a breath and think before you act. You can't just go storming off like a hothead."

"Doesn't that ring a bell, Raph?" Alex asked with a raised eyebrow, making Raph's eyes widen before he slapped his forehead.

"Yeah. Listen to me. Hothead." He muttered.

"What?" Tyler muttered.

"Nah, just something my brothers were trying to tell me." Raph replied as Tyler looked back down at the warehouse, when he spotted something: his mother tied up to a chair through a window with three bars.

"Guys, look!" He said.

"We're blind, remember?" Alex reminded him. "What do you see?"

"There she is! It's mom." Tyler replied before he turned and ran. "I gotta get down there."

"Ty, wait up here! We'll -"

"I'm not waiting here!" Tyler shot Raph down. "I can't! I promised her! I promised I'd come back for her! I promised."

"Your stubbornness is gonna get you hurt one day." Alex muttered as he shook his head while Raph sighed.

"Okay. But we do this together. You're gonna have to be my eyes. Alex is our resident Daredevil. And no steering us into walls this time, right?" Raph told Tyler.

"Yeah, right." Tyler said understandingly.

"First thing to do is get signals straight. So here's what we do." Alex explained.

Within the warehouse, while a goon walked past some large wooden crates, Alex and Raph, with Tyler wrapping his arms around his shoulders, opened a window and entered the warehouse, jumping down and landing on all fours.

They both sniffed the air, which was thick of aftershave, knowing where the various goons were.

"Why would these losers wear that much aftershave?" Alex whispered as he, Raph and Tyler crept towards a few boxes.

Alex and Raph then stepped out and faced the goons.

"Our advice, give up now." Raph said to get their attention. "Save yourselves a world of hurt."

But the goons all laughed as they stepped back as more of them showed up, including Weasel, who stepped forward.

"Hey, I should thank you two for making things so easy. We just had to wait and you brought the kid right to us." Weasel said before he turned his head. "We got him, boss!"

Tyler turned to Alex and Raph as Weasel's boss showed up, a large brute of a man with short dark red hair, a pastel pink shirt and a yellow tie, taking off his jacket as he approached Alex and Raph.

"So this is the costumed freak and the brat who caused me so much trouble." He spat. "Do you know what I do to people who cause me trouble? I make 'em pay personally."

He punched an open palm as he stepped closer to Alex and Raph, the former using his hearing to know that he was a few feet in front of them and that he was tall.

"Talk to me, kid. Where is he?" Raph asked Tyler, revealing to Weasel's boss that he's blind.

"You're blind as a bat." He sneered before he threw punches at Alex and Raph, the former ducking in time, but Raph got hit in the face and was knocked onto his shell in front of Tyler.

"Still can hear, though." Alex replied before he hand sprung and kicked the larger man in the jaw, knocking him back slightly. "I think it's best if I handle this oversized ape, Raph."

"I agree." Raph moaned as Tyler helped him up.

"You'll regret that, punk." Weasel's boss said after he spat a bit of blood from his mouth.

"Not really." Alex shrugged as he still paid attention to even the smallest sound.

Weasel's boss charged at Alex, who heard him raise his arm up to swing a punch at him, but he spun low to the ground and stuck his leg out, trapping him to fall on his chest and Alex then did an axe kick on his back, making him yell in pain.

"Why you -" Weasel's boss snarled as he stood up and yelled as he charged at Alex, who grinned, before flipping over him and kicking the back of his head so hard he fell on his face, breaking his nose.

He yelled in pain while his goons all looked worried as their boss was getting his ass kicked.

He stumbled as he got to his knees, groaning in pain, which allowed Alex to flip over and land in front of him, punching and kicking his face and chest repeatedly until he stopped and Weasel's boss moaned before he fell forward, completely knocked out.

"YES!" Tyler cheered and Raph grinned while everyone else was in stunned silence. Their boss had lost to a blind teen. But soon, Weasel snapped out of it.

"Don't just stand there! Get him!" He ordered the goons.

Tyler grabbed Raph's hand and ran over to Alex, grabbing his hand and they ran in time to avoid the goons, who all crashed into each other.

He led the pair towards some crates and boxes that were piled up.

"Push these over!" He told them, and they grabbed onto one of the boxes at the bottom, pushing it and made the whole pile fall over as the goons charged at them, blocking their path.

Tyler then led Alex and Raph towards a barred door, which had his mother on the other side.

"I think they've got my mom in here, but there's a big lock on the door we have to break." He said, placing Raph's hand on the lock. "Then we can -"

"Tyler, wait." Alex stopped him as he and Raph crouched down in front of him. "I don't think your mother would react well to seeing a walking talking turtle with her son."

"Alex is right. Besides, you promised you'd come back for her." Raph added. "Now go ahead and get her, pal."

"But what about you two?" Tyler asked, sounding unsure.

"We'll follow you out. But remember, head straight for the police station." Raph explained.

"Got it." Tyler nodded.

"You know, for a hothead, you did well, Tyler. Just as well as Raph, I'd say." Alex grinned, making Tyler grin as well.

Meanwhile, the goons were all busy moving the boxes and crates to continue going after the trio.

"Come on! Hurry it up, you stupid dopes!" Weasel snapped at them.

Raph used one of his sais to pick the lock, which opened right within a second, and both he and Alex hid in the shadows while Tyler ran in towards his mother.

"Mom!" He called to her, drawing her attention.

"Tyler." She gasped just as he reached her and hugged her. "But how did you -?"
"Later, mom." Tyler said, starting to get her untied.

Once he did, he grabbed her hand and led her out of the room.

"Come on, let's go!" He told her as they headed off elsewhere to exit the warehouse.

Raph then closed the door and he and Alex exited the shadows.

They then rubbed their eyes and found that they had their eyesight back just as the goons finally moved enough boxes and crates out of the way to climb their way through.

"Let's have some fun." Alex smirked at Raph, who chuckled with delight as they walked off.

Weasel watched his goons climb over the boxes and crates before he felt tapping on his shoulders, making him turn to see Alex and Raph.

"Well, if it ain't the Blind Ugly Stupid Duo." He mocked, thinking they were still blind.

"Really? You're calling us ugly and stupid, considering that tie you're wearing?" Alex mocked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, what kind of fashion sense is that?" Raph asked.

"What? You can see?" Weasel gasped in shock.

"We can see." Raph grinned before he and Alex grabbed Weasel by the collar.

"Though we do miss being blind around you, wannabe tough guy." Alex added before he and Raph launched Weasel into the boxes and crates, making them topple over some more and cause his goons to fall over.

Their moans and groans among the kicked up dust made Alex and Raph laugh as they high fived/threed.

Later, Tyler led his mother to the doors to the police station, handing her the tape she gave him before he ran away from the mobsters and they smiled at each other.

Tyler then looked up to the roof of a building opposite to the police station, seeing Alex and Raph, who gave him the thumbs up.

Tyler's mother looked up in confusion, only to see nothing, before her son led her into the building.

Alex and Raph looked down and smiled before they headed off, jumping onto another rooftop, and then jumping off it, continuing to go on their search for Splinter.
