The Search for Splinter - Part 2

"Let's recap what happened."

At the top of the burning Foot headquarters, Leo picked up his swords from the defeated body of the Shredder as his brothers all gathered by his side.

Then all of them, except Donnie, looked down at Splinter's walking stick with worry as Leo picked it up.

"After we defeated Shredder and his stupid Foot losers, we found that Master Splinter vanished, taken from us."

Raph drove his Shell Cycle through the streets as Mikey drove the Sewer Slider through the sewers, Alex looked through Central Park and Donnie flew on his hand glider over Queens.

"We searched throughout the whole city trying to find our sensei, but we didn't even find a clue. But then I realised something."

"The Guardians." Alex said as he and his brothers stood in the middle of a street.

"You're right." Donnie nodded. "Think about it, right after Splinter disappeared, they disappeared."

Both the blue haired man and the woman with the buzzcut ran into the ruined chamber at the top of Foot headquarters.

They then pointed their swords at Alex as his turtle brothers appeared around them.

"We lured two of the Guardians to talk to them, which I planned, of course."

"Our master's missing." Raph told the Guardians as he put his sais away. "We intend to find him."

"We all knew that they had answers, but they refused to talk, clearly hiding the fact they did have him."

Alex placed a tracker on one of their swords when they weren't looking.

"And so we placed a tracker on them."

The two Guardians then put their swords away and started walking away.

Donnie had his tracker out as he and his brothers followed the signal of the tracker, chasing after the Guardians, who dashed into an alleyway, which Alex and the Turtles turned to, now facing the TCRI building.

"We followed them to an ordinary looking office building and knew we had to have help if we wanted to get inside."

A guard sat behind a desk in the lobby, looking at four different monitors that showed footage from cameras on different parts of the roof.

Casey then entered wearing a trench coat and holding a toaster.

"We planned on Casey acting as a diversion with his usual craziness."

Casey placed the toaster on the desk and smashed it with his baseball bat.

"Now I wanna see the head geek or I'm gonna take this place apart!" Casey yelled as he stood on the desk, swinging his bat at the male guard and the female guard before he tackled them to the floor.

"In other words, he's perfect for the job."

He looked up at April, winking at her, which made her run through a door.

She soon entered the security room and a hologram showing the exterior of the TCRI building activated. The hologram showed the roof looking like it was made of glass until it turned to resemble what the roof actually looked like.

"This allowed April to sneak away into the security room and deactivate the alarm sensors so that we can get onto the building."

Alex and the Turtles scaled the side of the building via suction cups towards a particular window.

"She found that the only way in was an exhaust opening on the ninth floor."

"Must be some kind of hologram." Alex said as he placed his hand in front of the window, feeling air, meaning the window was in fact a hologram.

Casey stood on the desk when the female guard grabbed his bat and kicked the desk away with unnatural strength, making him fall to the floor on his chest.

"But of course, things don't go as planned."

The guard then snapped the bat in half as the male guard joined her side, looking down at Casey, irises glowing green.

"Mikey, wait!" Donnie called as Mikey stuck the top half of his body through the hologram.

"Whoa!" He yelped, finding himself upside down, looking down a hallway.

Then beams of energy formed, coming together and shooting towards Mikey.

"Uh-oh!" He gulped before pulling out, but the energy shot out and made him lose his balance.

"Mikey!" Donnie cried out before Mikey fell onto him and the two started falling towards the ground, yelling as they did so.

The pair continued yelling as they kept falling towards the ground.

"Donnie, kick off of me! Quick!" Mikey yelled.

Donnie pulled out his bo staff and spun before kickin off of Mikey towards the building, landing on his knees where the other two suction cups were that weren't on his hands. He leaned back and held his staff out as Mikey pulled out a nunchuck and wrapped it around the staff, allowing Donnie to pull him against the wall.

Mikey stuck to the wall with three of the four suction cups he had out, looking down to see he was a few feet away from the ground.

"Whoa. Got any clean underwear in that goodie bag of yours?" He asked.

"You goofball." Donnie grinned.

Meanwhile, Alex, Leo and Raph let out huge sighs of relief.

In the lobby, Casey got thrown at the metal sliding door that covered the front door, landing on the floor.

"Oh." He moaned before seeing the female guard charge at him with her electric pole. "Uh-oh."

Just as she reached him, he jumped out of the way and she hit the metal door instead.

Casey rolled until he landed on his chest and found that he landed in front of the male guard, who lifted him up off his feet by the collar of his trench coat, glaring his glowing irises at him.

"You know, you really gotta work on your customer relations." Casey scoffed before he slid out of the coat and jumped away when both guards tried to hit him, ending up hitting each other in the process with their electric poles, shocking one another and making them grit their teeth in pain.

Casey chuckled until the shock wore off.

"Uh…." He muttered until he saw the poles on the floor, which he picked up. "A-ha!"

Casey started twirling them as the guards charged at him until he held out one of them, making the pair back away slightly.

But then it stopped working.

"Ah, crud." Casey muttered.

The two guards charged at Casey again as he backed away before remembering he had another pole, holding it out in front of him, making them back away.

"A-ha!" He grinned.

"GOONGALA!" He then yelled as a battle cry, charging at the guards.

Elsewhere, a worker with a green lab coat rode on what seemed to be a hover sled turning right, down the hallway with the door to the security room, which he noticed was opened slightly, so he parked the sled and approached the door to investigate.

Inside the security room, April continued pacing around the hologram that showed the exterior of the building.

"Say that again?" April asked through her earpiece, a bit taken aback from what Alex just told her.

"The hologram for the exhaust port is booby trapped, which is currently active and it's the only way inside the building. Can you shut it down?" Alex replied.

"Uh, standby." April replied. "Deactivate ninth floor exhaust port."

The hologram turned around and the exhaust port on the ninth floor started flashing in yellow.

"Plasma exhaust system deactivated." The computer voice said.

Outside, the hologram vanished, showing a circular hole that Mikey had stuck the top half of his body through and all five brothers climbed towards it.

"Let's move." Leo told his brothers when they all entered through the exhaust port.

"We're in, April." Donnie informed through his headset.

"That's great, guys." April replied.

Suddenly, the hologram deactivated, leaving her on edge until she gasped when the door behind her opened up, the man with the green lab coat walking in.

Upon seeing her, the man glared at her with glowing green irises and stormed up to her.

But before he could do anything else, he got shocked from behind, making him yell in pain before being flung onto the floor by Casey, crashing into the wall next to April.

"I take it things got a little out of hand?" She asked concerningly.

"These people mean business." Casey replied, twirling the electric pole in his hand. "Let's book!"

The two of them ran out into the hallway, April closing the door behind her.

"Huh. This baby's better than my baseball bat." Casey said of the pole, only for it to shut off. "Agh!"

"Let's get out of here." April insisted and ran to the door leading to the lobby.

"Uh, hang on." Casey said, following her and reached the door before she did and jammed the door by putting the pole between the door handles. "You don't wanna go on in there, believe me."

On the other side, the two guards Casey fought against were banging against the door to open them, which April and Casey noticed as the door was bent.

"Back this way." Casey said and they ran back down the hallway only to be blocked off by a male guard and a female African American guard.

The pair looked behind to see that another male guard appeared and even Mortu showed up, wearing a black suit and glasses and had light purple hair and a light purple beard.

"There they are, Mr. Mortu." The guard accompanying said, pointing at April and Casey, who saw they were cornered as the two pairs closed in on them.

"Think we can take 'em?" April asked Casey.

"Nope. We don't stand a chance. But at least we can go down fighting." Casey replied, cracking his knuckles. "GOONGALA!"

Mortu and the guards stopped running and now approached the pair at a walking pace, with one of the guards now wielding an electric pole. And all four of them had their irises glowing green.

"Bring it on, you corporate goons." Casey chuckled, trying to egg them on.

"What? No!" April said in disbelief. "No one's bringing anything on."

Casey growled as the door he jammed shut is still being pounded on.

"We're getting out of here." April insisted before noticing the hover sled next to the security door.

As the two guards kept pounding on the door, it suddenly splintered apart as April and Casey rode on the hover sled, entering the lobby and knocking the two guards aside.

"WHOO!" Casey cheered and laughed as he and April turned to each other before looking to see they were heading right for the front door, making them scream.

The hover sled smashed it open and April drove it right for the alleyway where the Battle Shell was parked.

They got off and ran back to the end of the alleyway, peeking out to see Mortu and a couple of the guards standing by the front door.

"This is unacceptable." Mortu frowned as his irises glowed again before he and the guards walked back into the lobby.

"Well, that went better than expected." Casey admitted.

"Then your expectations are whacked." April retorted, physically shaking. "I'm pumping so much adrenaline, I won't sleep for two weeks."

"Anyway, mission accomplished. You did pretty good in there." Casey reassured her.

"Well, so did you." April replied with a blush and a smile.

"I did?" Casey blushed. "Well, I guess I did."

He backed up against the hover sled and fell on his butt when it moved away, making April chuckle.

"Hey, are you guys safe?" Leo asked April through her earpiece.

"Barely." April replied. "Listen, guys…"

Alex and the Turtles made it into another hallway within the ventilation system.

"...there's more to this place than meets the eye -" April was cut off and now they heard static.

"April? April?" Leo said concerningly as Donnie fiddled his headset. "We lost her.

"My guess is there's some kind of signal dampener in here." Donnie suggested as he took the headset off.

"Guys, shh!" Raph shushed with a finger over his lips before pointing down at a vent cover in front of him.

They all gathered around it and saw a man wearing a red and green jumpsuit pushing a trolley full of yellow canisters down a hallway.

Alex and Leo quietly lifted the cover off and they all jumped down into the hallway, one at a time, and hid in various hallways.

The man turned to look behind him, feeling as though someone was there, only to see nothing, and continued into a door at the end of the hallway, which shut automatically behind him.

The five all popped out and approached the door.

Alex signalled to wait as he slowly and quietly opened the door, shocked to find the man nowhere to be seen and looked into a square room with three other doors.

"What the shell?" He said in confusion as they all entered the room.

Mikey approached the door on the right and looked through and gasped upon seeing the same exact room as the one he's in.

"Deja vu." He muttered before turning to his brothers. "It's just like this one."

"Scout this floor. Then meet back here in five." Leo told his brothers.

They all nodded and each walked through a different door, Alex following Leo.

Donnie walked through his door, entering the same kind of room as he was in previous, slowly walking in.

Raph did the same with the new room he entered.

With Alex and Leo slowly entered the new room and parted ways, Alex going right and Leo going left.

Mikey entered a new room and found Raph in it as well. They faced each other before parting ways.

Soon, each of them started getting antsy and started running through each new room they entered.

Eventually, they all entered the same hallway at the same time, Mikey and Raph on one side and Alex, Leo and Donnie the other.

"Okay, that was weird." Mikey said as they gathered together.

"I feel like a lab rat looking for cheese." Raph confessed.

"Yeah, I don't like that." Alex replied with a frown.

"It's like this is all designed just to keep people going in circles." Donnie deduced.

Suddenly, they all heard the sound of an elevator arriving down the hallway and Leo led his brothers into one of the rooms to hide, peeking out the door to see two men come out of the elevator, one of them pushing a trolley full of yellow canisters, before hiding back in the room.

"Just be glad we weren't on security detail tonight." The man, who was blonde, pushing the trolley said.

"Why?" The other asked, making the blonde chuckle.

"They had some nutcase smashing up the lobby over a toaster." The blonde replied.

"Oh, that's why they're all reporting to decontamination. Poor slobs." The other man chuckled as they continued down the hallway, walking past where Alex and the Turtles hid.

Raph opened the door and they all got out as the two men were out of earshot.

"I'll go see where this elevator goes." Alex said, pointing at the elevator before pointing at Mikey and Donnie. "Mikey, Don, you two will come with me."

"Good. And Raph and I will ghost those two." Leo replied before he and Raph followed the two men.

Alex, Mikey and Donnie made their way to the elevator, Mikey keeping it from closing as they got in.

"Hmm. Ten floors, fifty buttons." Mikey said as he looked at all the buttons for the elevator. "Let's see where you take us."

He pressed the first button on the second row and the elevator moved a floor.

But when the doors opened, they looked down the same hallway from before, which left the three of them confused.

"Try another floor?" Donnie suggested.

"Good idea." Mikey agreed and so he pressed a different button and the doors closed.

Moving to another floor, the doors opened and they are looking down the same exact kind of hallway again.

"Didn't we just do this?" Mikey asked Alex and Donnie.

"I guess every single hallway looks exactly the same, just like those rooms we ran through earlier." Alex shrugged as the doors closed.

The two men with the trolley full of canisters walked out of a door and went down a hallway and turned a corner as Leo and Raph peeked out from the door.

The two Turtles then crept towards the corner when they heard an odd sound.

They peeked around the corner to see an empty hallway with a wall at the end and no sign of the two men.

"Where'd they go?" Raph asked Leo in confusion.

Leo stepped into the hallway and pulled out one of his katanas as Raph followed him, thrusting it into the wall at the end of the hallway, seeing that it was just a hologram.

"Holographic, but without the booby trap." Leo said after pulling his katana away.

"Then let's do it." Raph replied and, after Leo put his katana away, they stepped through the hologram.

Back with Alex, Mikey and Donnie, after pressing another button and arriving at a different floor, the doors opened and saw the same kind of hallway yet again.

"At this rate, we're just gonna keep seeing the same thing again and again. Let's just get out of the elevator." Alex insisted.

"Next one." Donnie said and Mikey pressed a button, the doors closing.

Upon moving to another floor and the doors opening, the three gasped and hid from view as a couple of the guards that encountered April and Casey approached the elevator.

"Mortu so overreacts. I didn't even touch that guy in the lobby." The male guard told the female African American guard.

"But you touched Newman and he touched that guy in the lobby." She pointed out as they entered the elevator and she pressed a button, making the doors close and the elevator to move.

"Newman." The male guard snarled.

As to why they didn't see Alex, Mikey and Donnie, it's because they pressed themselves against each other up on the ceiling of the elevator.

The female guard pressed three particular buttons, which caused a face to appear on the small screen above the buttons.

"The suit is killing me. I can't wait to get out of it." She told the other guard.

This struck Alex as odd. They're just wearing what are standard suits, so why would she complain about it?

Soon the elevator stopped and the doors opened up and the two guards exited the elevator and a moment later, Alex, Mikey and Donnie dropped down from the ceiling and exited the elevator as well, shocked by what they were seeing.

"Wow." Donnie said in awe, as they were in a large red room that had incredibly advanced technology that couldn't have come from Earth. And it seemed to be bigger than it looks.

The two guards approached two of four circles by the edge of the floor and once they stood on them, they fell through them when they opened up.

"Did you see…?" Mikey asked his brothers.

"Uh-huh." Alex and Donnie said in unison.

The three walked towards the edge, seeing that there was a really large pit below.

"Quite the decor." Alex said. "It looks like something out of a sci-fi horror film."

"Just look at this place. It's like some kind of techno-organic fusion." Donnie said in amazement.

"Come again?" Mikey asked.

"He's saying that it's like a body, just mechanical." Alex translated as Donnie pulled out harnesses from his duffel bag.

"And we're going down there." Donnie added.

"Looks more like a giant stomach to me." Mikey admitted as he looked down the pit. "Which means I don't even want to think about what down there entrails… or entails."

"Just come on." Alex groaned as they got ready.

Back with Leo and Raph, they made it to the other side of the holographic wall and found themselves in another corner of this secret techno-organic section of TCRI.

As they approached a nearby hallway, they saw the two men they were following, making them hide behind a wall as one of the men lifted up the last of the canisters onto a trolley while the other approached a computer of some kind and pressed a button.

"Okay, decontamination lines have been refilled." He reported as the other man pushed the trolley and the two walked out of the room.

Leo and Raph came out of hiding and went behind a closed tube.

"I hate to think what these clowns have done to Master Splinter." Raph snarled.

"We don't even know if he's here." Leo reminded him.

"If Alex is sure he's here, he's here. Besides, I can feel it as well." Raph argued.

Back with Alex, Mikey and Donnie, they repelled all the way down to the bottom of the pit, stopping just above a doorway.

They peeked down from it and saw a line of guards, all of whom had encountered April and Casey. There was also some sort of weird machine that had small pads underneath that hovered over a liquid and there were cocoons on either side of the room.

A tube then appeared from above and the bald man that Alex and the Turtles saw through the vent cover came out and walked up to the line of guards.

Then the guard in front touched his neck and his face peeled off, revealing that the human appearance was just a disguise for a robot suit.

"Ah" Mikey gulped in utter shock and both Alex and Donnie covered his mouth, shushing him, even though they too were just as shocked as he was.

Mikey nodded and they removed their hands.

"Can this freakshow get any weirder?" Mikey asked.

That's when the rest of the disguise was ripped off, revealing a small pink skinned alien with tentacles in the middle of the robot, where the stomach would be.

Donnie gasped and his mouth was covered by Mikey's hand, who also covered his own mouth while Alex covered his own.

Alex, especially, was shocked to his core. Mutants, monsters and nanobots were one thing, but aliens? That just takes the cake.

The other three ripped off their disguises and flew out of their robot suits on hover pods, heading for the pads under the machine, landing on them among other aliens like them.

Then a couple of cranes popped out and grabbed the four robot suits, dumping them into the liquid while a third grabbed the disguises, dumping them into a cocoon.

"Decontamination commencing." A computer voice said before hoses came down and shot water at the aliens, making them yelp.

The blue haired Guardian and the female Guardian with the buzzcut walked down a hallway until they turned to a heptagon shaped door, which opened as they approached it.

They walked along a lit pathway towards a couple of circles in the middle of the room, facing their masters as they sat in their chairs.

"Lords, you summoned us?" The blue haired man asked as they turned and bowed to their masters.

"Guardians, your reports state that security had to remove a tracking device from one of you this evening." The chubby man said.

"How did it get planted on you -" The elderly man started.

" - without your knowledge?" The woman finished.

"My son and the Turtles, my Lords. They are pretty resourceful." The female Guardian replied proudly.

The chubby man activated a light to the left of the two Guardians, showing the destroyed shell cam.

"We also found one of their damaged surveillance devices inside our lobby." He told them as a second light activated, showing the Polaroid camera and picture Alex used to fool one of the cameras. "And they have somehow overcome our own devices on the roof."

"We are very troubled." All three said in unison.

"We Utroms have remained undetected for centuries." The elderly man said.

"And none of our domains had ever been infiltrated -" The woman started.

" - until now." The cubby man finished, leaning forward.

"Everything we have been working towards -" The elderly man said.

" - our chance to finally go home is at risk." The chubby man finished.

"Alexander and the Turtles don't know anything for certain." The blue haired Guardian reasoned. "Their human friends didn't even get past the lower corridor."

Another light activated and Mortu appeared within it.

"However, their friends appear to have manipulated our security systems, interrupted our holo shield, and seriously compromised our anonymity among humans." Mortu pointed out.

"But there is one thing every single one of you have overlooked." The female Guardian spoke up sternly. "My son and the Turtles are just trying to find their master, who they at least suspect is here, which is why they have infiltrated this place."

"How can you be so sure, Guardian?" Mortu asked sceptically.

"Because I met their master. I gave my son to him fifteen years ago to be in his care. He was the pet rat of Hamato Yoshi." The female Guardian explained, which caused a shift in the room.

"Then we must find them before they come to the wrong conclusion about what we're doing." Mortu said with utter seriousness.

"Do so." The three masters said in unison.

As Alex, Mikey and Donnie watched the aliens continue being hosed down on the pads under the machine, the alarm suddenly went off.

"Attention, this is an intruder alert." A computer voice announced. "All search protocols are in effect. We have a breach. Repeat, we have a breach."
"Crud, we're found out." Alex said with concern.

The hoses stopped spraying water at the aliens.

"More intruders? My skin can't take another scouring!" One of the aliens whined as another actually spotted Alex, Mikey and Donnie.

"There they are!" They shouted, pointing with their tentacles.

"Uh-oh." Mikey gulped right before all the aliens yelled.

"UP! UP!" Alex shouted, pointing up with his thumb before they pressed buttons on their harnesses to rappel upwards.

"After them!" One of the aliens shouted before they took off on their hover pods and went up a tube that had some slime secreting off of it.

The three brothers managed to reach the top of the pit and Donnie put the harnesses in his duffel bag when the aliens came out of the other end of the tube and started firing lasers at them.

Donnie looked over and saw another tube.

"Follow me!" He told Alex and Mikey and the three ran towards the tube and dived in, getting covered in slime as they slid down it, screaming in the process.

They seemingly went on for a long distance before they reached the other end of the tube, finding themselves in a random hallway.

"Urgh! Okay, I am officially grossed out." Mikey said as Donnie cringed at the slime.

"You're not the only one." Alex said as he spat some slime out of his mouth.

The three then heard footsteps approaching, making them look to see a couple of the aliens in robot suits running at them with electric poles.

"Get them!" One of them yelled at the other.

"RUN!" Alex yelled and the three got to their feet and ran down the hallway just as the aliens in their hover pods started coming out of the tube and joined the chase.

With Leo and Raph, having heard the alarm, they peeked out of a doorway down a hallway with six of the aliens, three on hover pods and three in robot suits, appearing behind them, which they noticed.

"What the -?" Raph said in shock.

"Uh-oh!" Leo gulped.

The aliens started firing lasers at the pair, who ran down the hallway until they reached a point with two different doorways, leaving Leo and Raph confused about which way to go.

"This way!" Leo decided on the left doorway, taking Raph by the wrist and running down it towards a closed door, which opened up as they neared it and closed up after they ran through.

The aliens all arrived through the door and into a large circular room and seemed to have lost Leo and Raph.

But then Leo jumped down and landed in front of them and yelled as he pounced on two of the aliens in the robot suits.

Then Raph joined in, swatting away one of the aliens on a hover pod and kicked the third in a robot suit when they charged at him with electric poles, one of which fell out of their hand and Raph caught it.

Another alien in a robot suit approached Raph and swung their sparking electric pole at him, which he blocked and kept blocked as he got further and further into the room, which Leo noticed while dealing with the two he pounced on earlier.

They charged at him but he jumped over them with help from the doorway and spin kicked them from behind, knocking them down as he grabbed one of their electric poles and threw it at the alien fighting Raph, getting stuck in the robot suit's leg, electrocuting it and making it land on its butt.

The alien glared as it made the suit functional, shaking its head before looking at the Turtles with its eyes glowing.

"We take 'em out, but they keep coming!" Raph said worryingly as he and Leo backed away while the aliens in the robot suits gathered up and approached the pair.

Leo and Raph backed up against a door, which opened and Alex, Mikey and Donnie showed up.

"Hey. Fancy meeting you here." Mikey remarked.

"Come on!" Alex said as he directed them to follow him and so all five brothers ran down the hallway.

The aliens in the hover pods fired lasers at them just as they ran through another doorway with Alex, Mikey and Donnie heaving a large piece of machine to topple over and block the doorway so that the aliens couldn't get to them.

The three grinned at this but then gasped along with Leo and Raph upon seeing the kind of room they were in.

There were several large machines that were lined up with cocoons with liquid inside them and aliens as well.

"Matrix city." Mikey commented as they approached the machines, taking the words out Alex's mouth, as it all did look like it was ripped out of The Matrix films.

"What is this place? A morgue?" Raph asked just as Leo spotted something that shook him up.

"I hope not. Because look!" He panicked, pointing at a particular cocoon.

Inside it was Splinter himself, without his kimono and with his eyes closed.

"Master Splinter!" Alex gasped with worry before they all ran up to him and Donnie looked at the display screen in front of him.

"Oh, man, is he… is he…?" Mikey struggled to speak.

"I don't think so." Donnie shook his head, looking at the screen that showed Splinter's body with certain parts being highlighted and even his heartbeat and pulse. "From what I can tell, this looks like some kind of bio-suspension unit. He's probably in stasis."

"But why? What's the point?" Alex snarled, already thinking of ideas as to why they'd want to put Splinter in stasis, all of which weren't good.

"Regardless, let's cut him out!" Raph snarled, pulling his sais out, but Alex and Leo stopped him.

"Stop! You could do more bad than good by doing that! We don't know anything about this technology!" Alex pointed out.

"Exactly," Donnie nodded.

"But we can't just leave him in there." Mikey argued. "Don, figure something out!"

"Okay, just, uh, give me a minute to study this." Donnie replied, sounding a bit unconfident.

But then they heard a loud noise come from the blocked doorway, which they turned to, seeing the machine blown up and not only did the aliens pile into the room, but also the mutant fox and tiger.

"Careful with your weapons discharge. We cannot afford to damage the techno-organic equipment of this chamber." One of the aliens told the others in the hover pods.

One of them fired lasers at Alex and the Turtles, hitting the ground amongst them, making them be thrown all over the place. Mikey and Donnie landed by other cocoons, Mikey on a display screen, and Alex, Leo and Raph landed on the ground away from Splinter

"What did she just say, you moron?" The mutant fox said to the alien that fired the lasers with a glare.

"Sorry." The alien apologised.

Alex flipped to his feet, while Leo and Raph stood up, as the aliens and the mutants approached them, pulling out their weapons.

While Raph and Leo were busy with the aliens, blocking their lasers and fighting them, Alex glared at the two mutants and roared as he leapt at them, first attacking the tiger, who blocked his attack with his ninja machete and tried sweeping Alex off his feet, but he jumped up and managed to kick the tiger in the face before he could react, knocking him away towards the mutant fox, who jumped over him and swung her kamas down on Alex, who blocked her.

"Stop, we're not the enemy!" She begged as she struggled against his strength as he beared down on her.

"Then why did your precious Guardians take our master from us? Because that suggests otherwise!" Alex snarled before he kneed her in the stomach and then kicked her away in the chest, making her crash into the tiger as he got back up to help her, making them crumble on the ground.

Mikey started lifting himself up off the screen he crashed onto when he turned to see one of the aliens on a hover pod flying right at him.

They fire lasers at him and he dodges them before launching himself at the alien, kicking them in the face.

This causes the alien to cry out as their hover pod flies and spins out of control, firing lasers in the process, hitting the machinery and even one of their own in a robot suit near Raph, crashing into a wall before the alien crawled out in time as it exploded soon after.

The alien in the hover pod still kept flying out of control and shooting lasers, which started getting closer to Splinter, which Donnie noticed.

"Oh, no!" He cried out and leapt in front of Splinter in time as the laser aimed right for him, taking the blast and flying right into another room. Crashing right next to a platform.

"DONNIE!" Alex shouted with fear, seeing another alien for his turtle brother, as he was currently blocking the two mutants.

He roared as he knocked them back and ran after the alien.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" He yelled in rage and then leapt at the alien, slicing their hover pod in half and kicked the alien right into the wall, knocking them out, before running to help his turtle brother.

His other brothers all kicked other aliens in robot suits away before running to help Alex with Donnie.

As the aliens in the robot suits got back on their feet with the two mutants, Mortu and the female Guardian ran in and were shocked by the damage the room suffered.

"What have you done?" Mortu questioned.

"Where are they?" The female Guardian asked the two mutants, who pointed at the doorway Alex and the Turtles ran into. This made her and Mortu run, as they knew what room they entered.

With Alex and the Turtles, they gathered around Donnie and carried him onto the platform just as Mortu and the female Guardian entered the room.

"Stop!" Mortu called out to them.

"Please, you must step off there right now!" The female Guardian warned Alex and the Turtles, sounding scared and fearful.

The five brothers gasped, especially when they realised that they can't move.

"I can't move my feet!" Mikey said, looking down to see his feet sparking as the platform started powering up.

Mortu and the female Guardian ran over to the controls to try and stop it as lights started forming on either side of Alex and the Turtles.

"We can't stop it! It's too late!" Mortu said in distress.

"NO!" The female Guardian cried and watched as a blue light consumed the five of them, moaning as they started vanishing, piece by piece.

Mortu and the female Guardian covered their eyes until the light vanished, seeing that Alex and the Turtles were gone.

"NO!" The female Guardian cried again, her eyes welling up as Mortu wrapped his arms around her while the aliens and the two mutants came in.

"What happened?" The tiger asked Mortu.

"They're gone." Mortu replied gravely.

Everyone was shocked into silence as Mortu wondered where Alex and the Turtles could've gone.

What a dramatic cliffhanger.

Btw, with the Turtles In Space arc, expect not only another TMNT character to pop up, but also an OC that I've created who will have a small yet significant role for the rest of the story.

Also, RIP to Dame Maggie Smith, who will always be Minerva McGonagall in my heart.
