The Ultimate Ninja

On the Brooklyn Bridge, a figure wearing a red mask and a purple cape stood on a support cable, looking down at Alex and Leo, who were hanging onto some cables to avoid plummeting towards the river below.

"I was raised with a sense that such words like 'truth' and 'honour' aren't just mere words."

The pair gritted their teeth as they looked up at the figure, who pulled out two katanas.

"And one such difficulty in living a life of honour is that sometimes…"

The figure then sliced the cables, making Alex and Leo plummet.

"...you'd have to pay the ultimate price for it."

The two screamed as they fell towards the water.

The sky over New York was filled with thunder and lightning, making it a bit unpleasant for the residents. Well, the ones that live on the street level.

One such bolt of lightning struck a TV antenna, the surge of electricity shooting from it and forming a bright light, of which a figure named Ue-Sama appeared out of and in the shadows.

He wore a dark navy uniform of some kind with a purple cape, a red mask that covered his face, two katanas placed on his back and a gauntlet with three claws worn on his right hand. He also had long red hair, which he tied into a large braid and had green eyes.

He stepped out of the shadows and towards a leaking tap.

Ue-Sama let some water drip onto his left gauntlet before placing his hand in front of him.

"Show me, show me the ones I seek." He said, making the water whirl and form a circle that hovered over his hand.

A mirror formed and showed the faces of Alex and Leo.

"Here are the ones you seek." A ghostly voice replied.

"Yes, now find them, for their end is soon at hand." Ue-Sama ordered, grinning behind his mask.

In the lair, Leo was in the middle of brushing his teeth, looking at himself in a mirror as well.

As he finished, he swirled the water and toothpaste in his mouth before spitting into the sink.

Leo grabbed a glass of water, which had one of April's stockings in it.

Since her apartment and antique shop were destroyed, she had to move in with Alex, the Turtles and Splinter, as well as Rebecca, Alopex, Tiger Claw and Mona Lisa.

Of course, with five more people moving in, one of them temporary, there were issues.

There were seven bedrooms in the lair, so how could they arrange things?
Well, Mona didn't mind sharing the same room with Raph, since the two grew close since first meeting each other.

Alopex and Tiger Claw, being like brother and sister, decided to share a room together and took the spare bedroom available.

Rebecca decided she'll share Splinter's quarters together, which Splinter didn't mind, since the two respected each other's boundaries.

Then there's April. After moaning and complaining about it, Mikey moved out of his own room and bunked with Raph and Mona so that April could have a place to sleep.

"Huh?" Leo muttered when noticing the stocking, which he picked up with a sigh. "Nice."

He looked around the large bathroom, seeing many of April's clothes on washing lines. There was also the addition of grey shower curtains, courtesy of Rebecca.

Leo then exited the bathroom as he yawned and walked to his left, seeing Splinter walk up towards him.

"Master Splinter." Leo greeted him before they both bowed to each other. "May I speak with you?"

"Certainly, my son." Splinter replied with a grin, which typically wasn't the case with him, as he doesn't often grin.

"You know, it's great having April live with us, as well as Alex's mom, Mona, Alopex and Tiger Claw. After all, I mean, April's been through a lot. She lost her place because of us." Leo explained, trying to ease in about how she's making things difficult. "But, it's just that -"

"Hey, I found that hairbrush I promised you." April said, coming up towards them with a hairbrush in her hand. "How'd the shampoo and conditioner work out?"

"It was wonderful." Splinter replied as he took the hairbrush. "My hair has never felt so full bodied and supple. And my split-ends, they're all gone."

Leo was left a bit stunned and speechless by how Splinter was grinning and talking eagerly.

"Truly, I am in your debt, Miss O'Neil." Splinter then said to a smiling April while Leo folded his arms.

"Oh, you're more than welcome." April blushed before turning and walking to the bathroom, humming a tune,

"What was it you wanted to speak to me about, Leonardo?" Splinter then asked Leo, snapping him out of his stunned silence.

"Nothing, Sensei." Leo replied, dropping the subject. "Everything's just fine."

He walked away, leaving Splinter somewhat confused.

Elsewhere, Raph was watching the news on one of the TVs, twirling one of his sais, sitting on the armchair with Mona sitting on the floor by his feet while Rebecca also watched, sitting on the couch.

"The police seem unable to keep the peace on our city streets." News Anchor Dwight informed. "And this reporter can only hope that the current growing wave of gang violence is not the precursor of things to come."

Raph glared as he stopped twirling his sai and both Rebecca and Mona looked concerned.

"Argh, I hate watching the news!" He snarled as he changed channels with the remote. "It's all bad! These gangs out there banging heads, it really ticks me off!"

"Raph, everything ticks you off." Donnie called him out while he was working at his lab.

"Not everything." Raph retorted, making Rebecca and Mona give him looks that said 'really?'. "Alright, everything."

"Would that include me?" Mona asked teasingly.

"Oh, never you, Mona. You're cool." Raph said, sounding worried for a moment, making Mona giggle.

"I'm just teasing you, Red." She assured him, patting his leg as Alopex and Tiger Claw arrived with some pillows, which they placed on the floor. Rebecca couldn't help but grin at how Mona was interacting with Raph, who she grew fond of. She had a certain knowing look.

Donnie then walked over to the hover platform April and Casey used to escape TCRI, holding a motor in his hand.

"Man, the technology on this hover skiff is amazing." He grinned. "Do those Utroms know how to make cool stuff or what?"

"And that hover skiff is nothing compared to the other things they had at TCRI. You would've been in techno-geek heaven, Don." Alopex told him as she and Tiger Claw sat on the pillows they placed on the floor, a third in the middle for Alex.

He would've replied, but he cringed when there was loud clattering of pots and pans coming from the kitchen.

"MIKEY, WILL YOU STOP BEING A WILD MONKEY IN A CHINA SHOP?" Alex raged in the kitchen before a loud smack was heard.

"OW!" Mikey moaned as less noisy clattering was heard, thanks to Alex, who was putting the pots and pans back to where they were.

"Yeah, Mikey, please keep it down to a much less deafening cacophony." Donnie begged.

"Sorry, bro, we don't have any caco-phoney." Mikey replied as he exited the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn. "But we do have popcorn. The glorious golden kernels of freshly popped joy." He then walked over to the TVs. "Because it's movie night! Wahoo!" He then sat down on the floor.

Alex then walked out of the kitchen with a tray. On the tray was a bowl of nacho chips with red salsa, cheese dip and pickled jalapeno slices.

"I hope you two don't mind having this instead of popcorn." Alex told Alopex and Tiger Claw as he sat between them and placed the tray in front of all three of them.

"It's alright, besides I don't like popcorn." Alopex said as she took a nacho and dipped it in salsa before eating it in one bite and nuzzled up against Alex, making him blush and tense up.

She does this every once in a while, and it left Alex unsure, mainly because she was definitely pretty, but he never had to deal with a girl acting like this towards him.

"Movie night, right." Raph muttered as he looked away from Mikey, who was scarfing down the popcorn. "Where the heck is that bonehead, Casey Jones? He's supposed to be bringing the movie."

"Was it even wise to have him pick what we're about to watch tonight?" Mona asked as Donnie sat on the floor next to the coffee table and continued tinkering with the motor.

"Yeah, I mean, who knows what we'll be watching." Donnie added as the elevator opened up and Casey entered.

"Just something super spectacular. A movie so goongala-great, they only remade it a gazillion times. And this, my friends, is the original, like me." Casey declared, pointing at the VHS in his hand.

"Unfortunately, it won't be Seven Samurai, I just know it." Alex whispered to Alopex and Tiger Claw before eating a nacho with a bit of salsa and a pickled jalapeno slice. Tiger Claw sighed, as he always wanted to watch Seven Samurai.

Casey took a step forward and tripped on a brink that stuck out.

"Whoa!" He yelped as he fell forward and the VHS flew out of his hand. "Oh, no!"

Leo, who was up on the fire escape attached to the lair, saw the tape and jumped down onto some steps, slid down the railing and jumped into the air, grabbing the VHS.

He then landed among everyone gathered in front of the TVs and then flipped onto his feet right in front of the TVs.

"Nice save, Leo." Rebecca complimented him.

"Thank you. Now, let the movie begin." Leo grinned and put the tape into the VHS player as April and Splinter joined Rebecca on the couch.

The movie then started.

"INCOMING!" Casey shouted as he ran and then jumped over the couch, landing next to April, who moved away slightly in embarrassment while Casey scratched his head, the two looking away from each other.

"Hey, bonehead, I can't believe you picked a western." Raph said, a bit unimpressed with Casey's choice.

"I can't believe it, either!" April said enthusiastically, turning to Casey. "This is Rio Gato, I love this movie!"

"Me, too!" Casey grinned. "Isn't it great how that punk kid challenges the old man?"

"Just so that the kid can make a name for himself?" April replied, Casey nodding. "And it's great where -"

"Um, guys, can we just watch the movie instead? Please." Leo suggested.

"Yeah, everyone here except you two hasn't seen this movie, you know." Alex added, looking over his shoulder in annoyance. He hated it when people spoil a movie he hasn't seen before. He still holds a grudge against Mikey for spoiling The Sixth Sense.

"Sorry." Both April and Casey apologised in unison.

Mikey continued scarfing down popcorn as Alex, Alopex and Tiger Claw continued munching on their nachos.

Two hours later, as Mikey's almost ate all his popcorn and the trio finished off the nachos and the condiments, they've all reached the ending. The final showdown between the sheriff and the kid was about to take place.

Everyone was practically on the edge of their seats, Leo even biting a finger as he grew tense about the showdown. And Alopex wrapped around Alex's right arm.

"After I'm done with you, Sheriff, they'll know my name in every territory west of the Mississippi!" The kid bragged with cockiness. "Now, draw."

"Look, kid, having people know your name isn't important. Fame and glory aren't worth fighting for." The sheriff tried to reason with him.

"Enough talk, old man!" The kid stubbornly refused to listen. "I said draw! On the count of three!"

"One…" He started, everyone leaning forward, even Splinter, just anxious to see who'd win. "...two, three!"

Both characters drew their revolvers and fired, making everyone gasp, Alopex curling up and tightened her grip on Alex's arm.

Smoke came out of the kid's gun. But then he fell to knees and onto his chest, meaning he was dead.

Whereas the sheriff was alive and spun his revolver before putting it in his holster. He shook his head, wishing things played out differently, before he turned and walked away.

The words 'THE END' then appeared, showing that the movie has now come to an end.

"Can I pick 'em or can I pick 'em?" Casey said as he stood, proud of his choice for movie night.

"They sure don't make 'em like that anymore." Leo said in awe of how good the movie was.

"Yeah, that was just so good." Alex said in agreement, as it reminded him of his favourite samurai films. Alopex let go of his arm and her tail swung back and forth.

"How cool was that Sheriff Bart guy?" Mikey asked as he blew on his finger like it was a revolver.

"Yes, it was as if he were a samurai of the Old West." Splinter noted.

"So admirable." Tiger Claw nodded in agreement.

"Aw!" Mikey moped as he scraped the bowl with one of his nunchucks, as it was now empty. "The popcorn's gone.

"I can't imagine where it all went, Mikey." Raph retorted.

"It's like you have a bottomless pit for a stomach." Mona added, making Raph chuckle.

"Hey, I was hungry, but now I'm really hungry." Mikey replied, looking over at the tray in front of Alex, Alopex and Tiger Claw, seeing it was empty, making him moan.

"Maybe it's time for, oh, I don't know, an ice cream run?" Donnie suggested.

He and his brothers all stood and cheered at the idea, Raph saying he wanted mint chip.

"What is this ice cream?" Mona asked, making them all gasp.

"You've never heard of ice cream? It's one of the best things on the planet! You are so coming to try some!" Raph said, pulling her up to her feet.

"Ice cream sure sounds nice!" Alopex said, her and Tiger Claw getting up as well.

"Hmm, it is too dangerous on the surface. The increased gang activity alone makes it ill advisable to go." Splinter pointed out.

"We'll make sure to be careful, Sensei." Alex promised.

"I will accompany you, to ensure you do not get into mischief." Splinter replied as he got up before he broke into a grin. "Besides, I am craving a double thick ice cream shake."

"Great, now all of you make me want to have a chocolate mocha malt." Rebecca groaned playfully.

Up on the streets, everyone got in the Battle Shell, which Donnie raced through the streets, so that they could have ice cream.

"Ice cream, here we come!" Leo cried out.

Ue-Sama stood on a rooftop, watching the Battle Shell zoom through a street.

He then held up the mirror made of water, showing him a bitter look of the Battle Shell.

"There." The ghostly voice told him as the mirror showed the face of Alex and Leo. "There are the ones you seek."

"Beware, warriors, I am coming." Ue-Sama said before shattering the mirror with his gauntlet and spun his cape around, vanishing into thin air.

The Battle Shell was parked in an alleyway with all the mutants and the resident alien waiting for the human quartet to come back with the ice cream.

All four held three ice creams each when they finally arrived.

"Alright, folks, who ordered the double banana split with caramel and almonds?" April asked.

"Me, me!" Mikey held his hand up, sounding like a little kid. "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!"

Alex handed Alopex and Tiger Claw their ice creams, as he held theirs and his, which was vanilla with chocolate shavings.

April handed over Mikey's, giving him Leo's to hand it to him.

Casey handed Donnie's, giving him Splinter's to hand it to him.

Rebecca then handed Raph and Mona theirs.

"You say that one more time and I really am gonna scream." Donnie told him.

"Go on, Mona, try it." Raph encouraged the Salamandrian, who everyone watched, as she took a spoonful of neapolitan ice cream and tried it. Her eyes widened and she had the biggest grin on her face.

"This is so good!" She squealed before taking more spoonfuls quickly.

"Careful, you don't want a brain freeze!" Raph told her, only for her to feel like her brain was on ice, making her moan and twirl her tail.

"Too late." Alex chuckled with everyone before taking a spoonful of his ice cream.

"Never gets old." Tiger Claw shook his head in amusement as he ate his caramel ice cream.

"Your first brain freeze was pretty funny. You meowed like a kitten." Alopex teased as she ate her cookies and cream ice cream, making him glare at her.

"We do not talk about that." He grumbled, making Alex and Rebecca snort.

"I gotta admit, that Rio Gato turned out to be a great flick." Raph confessed. "One thing though, how did Sheriff Bart beat the kid, when the kid obviously had better skills?"

"I believe the young gunslinger fought only for fame and glory, while the sheriff fought to protect his friends and loved ones." Splinter provided his explanation. "Of course, possibly Sheriff Bart won because it was only a movie and needed a happy ending."

"Yeah, maybe." Raph said, unsure.

Ue-Sama watched them all from above before vanishing.

"I don't know, statistically, the odds are against him." Donnie pointed out.

Ue-Sama then appeared nearby in the alleyway, in the shadows.

"Thanks for the stats, brainiac." Mikey retorted.

"Well, emotions can have an effect on one's skill. The kid's arrogance and cockiness bit him in the ass." Alex theorised.

"Now that sounds more likely." Tiger Claw said. "Especially with the sheriff's determination and focus."

As everyone finished their ice creams, Ue-Sama narrowed his eyes at Alex and Leo, whose backs faced him.

He then tossed two blades at them.

"That can explain why Sheriff Bart was pretty quick on the draw for an old guy." Leo said. "I mean, he was -"

He stopped as he and Alex grabbed the blades before they could hit them.

"Guys!" Raph gasped.

"Watch your backs." Leo cautioned everyone as he and Alex stepped back to everyone else.

"Get behind me." Casey told April, standing protectively in front of her.

"Yeah, right." April said, unimpressed.

"I have seen these markers before." Splinter said, looking at the blades.

"So have I." Rebecca frowned as she and Splinter took them from her son and Leo, the latter surprised to not have the one he held in his hand.

"Though not around here." Splinter said.

"Is it the Foot?" Alopex asked him and Rebecca.

"No. It's a challenge." His mother replied gravely.

"Markers for a duel. A duel until one or the other is left standing." Splinter explained.

"Young warriors!" Ue-Sama revealed himself as he walked out of the shadows. "The ones called Leonardo and Alexander. I have come to this dimension to battle Oroku Saki, the Shredder. But you two stole that honour from me when you defeated the Shredder in combat. And so, for fame and glory, I must destroy the both of you in his stead. I challenge you, young warriors, to a duel!"

Alex and Leo glared at him, seeing how he's just like the kid in Rio Gato. Alex was just appalled about the desire for fame and glory.

"Hold on, whack bag!" Raph snarled as he stood in front of Alex and Leo as he pulled his sais out. "You mess with my brothers, you mess with me!"

"Ditto!" Alopex and Tiger Claw growled as they pulled their weapons out.

"Yeah, you mess with all of us." Casey backed them up.

"You got that right." Mikey said in agreement as he, Donnie and Mona pulled their weapons out, the latter wielding a pair of tonfas, having found a preference for them.

"These are not the rules." Ue-Sama told Splinter and Rebecca.

"We know." Rebecca replied, making everyone turn to her and Splinter.

"What's going on?" Alex asked his mother, who didn't reply as Ue-Sama bowed to her and Splinter.

He then pulled out a Japanese pellet drum and spun it to bang both sides.

It transformed into a handheld war paddle and he let go of it, letting it hover in the air as a spiritual figure formed, sitting cross legged and holding the paddle.

His name is Gyoji and wore a white and red mask.

Everyone, except Splinter and Rebecca gasped upon seeing him.

"Mom, Master Splinter, what is going on?" Alex asked.

"It is a universal challenge match." Splinter replied.

Gyoji raised and waved the paddle, forming a barrier in the shape of a dome to form around everyone.

Raph stabbed his sais into it, which didn't leave a dent.

"What's up with this cage?" Raph demanded an explanation.

"If the warriors named Leonardo and Alexander refuse the match, then your lives are forfeit." Gyoji explained.

"And if they accept and lose, then their lives are forfeit." Ue-Sama sneered.

"You must choose, my sons." Splinter told Alex and Leo, Rebecca placing her hand on her son's shoulder.

"There's no choice in the matter." Alex replied before glaring at Ue-Sama. "We accept your pathetic challenge."

"So noted." Gyoji said. "Challenge accepted. Duelists, prepare!"

"Soon, warriors, you shall taste defeat." Ue-Sama bragged, pointing at Alex and Leo, who stepped forward.

"We'll see about that." Alex coolly retorted.

"Master Splinter, Rebecca, what is going on?" Donnie begged an explanation.

"We will explain later. Now is not the time." Splinter replied, raising an arm up.

"We demand a full observance." Rebecca requested from Gyoji.

"Full observance accorded." Gyoji acknowledged.

"A full observance?" Ue-Sama snapped, turning to Rebecca and Splinter. "I - fine! Observe all you want. It will not change the outcome."

He then pulled on his cape and vanished.

"Warriors, warriors." His voice echoed around everyone. "Prepare to meet your doom."

He then started laughing.

"Boy, he's a little overdramatic." April noted.

"More like too overdramatic." Mona argued before she, Alopex, Tiger Claw and the Turtles approached Alex and Leo, putting their weapons away.

"I wish I were fighting that nutcase." Raph snarled.

"Same here. He deserves a beating to be put in his place." Tiger Claw agreed with him.

"I wished we knew exactly what we're supposed to do." Leo admitted.

"It's obvious, Leo. We're to face him in combat." Alex pointed out.

"Alex is right." Rebecca said as she and Splinter led the two away from the others. "You two have to be careful. He's clearly going to be a difficult opponent."

"But you two have the skill, and most importantly, you have the heart to defeat him." Splinter reminded Alex and Leo, who bowed to him and Rebecca.

Gyoji then hovered over to the pair and waved his paddle over a puddle of water, which moved on its own and moved directly under Alex and Leo.

They gasped when it started sucking them in.

"Hey - hey! Guys!" Leo cried out while Alex was too speechless to even speak.

"Oh, no!" Donnie gasped.

"Alex!" Alopex cried out as Raph jumped for them as only their hands remained.

"Guys!" He cried out just as their hands vanished and Raph landed in the puddle, which was now just a regular puddle.

"They're gone!" Mikey gasped as Tiger Claw growled and stormed up to Gyoji, being held back by Rebecca as Raph was held back by Splinter.

"What did you do to them?" Raph roared.

"ANSWER HIM!" Tiger Claw roared as well.

"Behold." Gyoji replied, pointing his paddle at the puddle, its water lifting up in the air and forming a mirror, showing Alex and Leo in the middle of Central Park.

"Please calm down, you two. They're alright." Rebecca softly told Raph and Tiger Claw, which they did as everyone gathered around the mirror to see what's going on.

"What do we do now, Master Splinter?" Mikey asked.

"Now, we wait and watch." Splinter replied.

Alex and Leo walked along a bridge as they looked around, keeping their eyes and ears open for Ue-Sama.

They then heard a whoosh to their right, with Alex seeing a blur in the treeline in the corner of his eye, making them turn, only to see nothing.

Then they heard a whoosh on their left and looked at the treeline there, seeing nothing.

Then Ue-Sama's cape floated until it landed in front of them.

Alex shared a glance with Leo, wordlessly telling him that Ue-Sama's waiting for them to turn.

Leo nodded, understanding this, and they turned around. The cape lifted up and Ue-Sama formed out of it, which the pair heard.

Everyone gasped upon seeing this through the mirror, seeing this as a cheap move.

"Look out, guys! He's right behind you!" Mikey cried out.

"Save your breath, Mikey! They can't hear you!" Raph snapped at him.

"Exactly! This is just like a live sports event on TV!" Alopex added.

Ue-Sama sent punches at Alex and Leo, who dodged and deflected them.

They then glared at each other before Leo threw a punch that was blocked as Alex sent a kick, which was also blocked.

Then Alex and Leo threw punches at the same time, which were both blocked and then Ue-Sama tried hitting them, but they ducked and blocked Ue-Sama again before he kicked Leo away at a lamppost, resulting in Alex yelling as he back kicked Ue-Sama in the chest, knocking him away.

Ue-Sama snarled as he pulled out a kusarigama, spinning the chained end and threw it at Leo.

This made everyone watching gasp in horror.

"Move, Leo, move!" Donnie cried out.

"Come on, Alex!" Alopex begged.

Alex pulled out his katana and jumped at the chain, smacking it onto the ground as Leo woke up and flipped onto his feet.

Alex joined Leo's side as Ue-Sama pulled the chain back to him and spun it before throwing it at the pair, making Leo pull his katanas out.

They blocked four strikes before Ue-Sama pulled the chain back and spun it over his head before throwing it again, wrapping around Leo's katanas, which Leo planned.

He then gave a strong tug, pulling Ue-Sama forward as Alex leapt at him and kicked him with both feet so hard that he crashed right into a tree and let go of his kusarigama as well.

He moaned in pain as Leo unwrapped the chain from his katanas and threw the kusarigama right into a bin.

Everyone grinned to see Alex and Leo doing good so far in the fight.

"Wahoo! Four points!" Mikey cheered.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Donnie grinned.

"Nicely done!" Mona pumped her fist.

"Solid teamwork!" Alopex whooped before she and Tiger Claw bumped fists.

"Alright!" Raph said as he, his brothers, Mona, Alopex and Tiger Claw high threed/foured/fived each other.

Back with Ue-Sama, he ran across the bridge and jumped off onto a truck that was driving down the road below the bridge.

Alex and Leo saw this as they reached the edge of the bridge, watching the truck drive away.

"Let's go!" Alex said as they jumped off the bridge and swung on some branches of various trees and jumped onto the truck with their katanas out, landing behind Ue-Sama, who turned to face them.

He pulled out his pair of katanas before they clashed their katanas together, Alex and Leo sending slashes that were blocked and then had to defend themselves as the truck now drove down a highway.

They pretty much reached a stalemate as they kept blocking and dodging each other's attacks.

That is until Leo leaned in low and spin kicked Ue-Sama's feet, knocking him onto his back up towards the front of the truck.

Leo then leapt up and dived to stab his katanas at Ue-Sama, but he vanished, making Leo stab the truck, which got embedded and he struggled pulling them out.

Ue-Sama then appeared behind Leo and was about to kick him when Alex slid up behind him and kicked him over himself and landed on his back at the back end of the truck as it started driving through the city.

"Cheating bastard!" Alex spat with contempt as Leo managed to finally pull his katanas out.

The truck then drove towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

Ue-Sama sent slashes at Alex and Leo, who flipped away and then started blocking relentless slices and slashes from Ue-Sama, who was forcing them towards the back of the truck, where they were struggling to maintain balance.

Ue-Sama laughed as he thought he was about to deliver the winning blow, but the two brothers put their katanas away and grabbed Ue-Sama by the belt, surprising him.

Alex kicked him away as Leo grabbed his grappling hook and they jumped off, Alex grabbing onto Leo as he threw the grappling hook onto the truck and swung around towards the front of the truck as it now drove on the Brooklyn Bridge and leapt at Ue-Sama, who turned and went wide eyed before the pair kicked him in the chest, knocking him off the truck and onto the bridge, which they landed on gracefully, pulling their katanas out.

They stared down Ue-Sama until a car drove up behind the latter, honking their horn.

Ue-Sama put his katanas away and jumped out of the car's way, as did Alex and Leo when it neared them, putting their katanas away as well.

They all kicked their way up the bridge on the various cables until they landed on one of the towers, facing each other, Alex and Leo pulling their katanas back out.

Ue-Sama opened up his cape, now wielding both his clawed gauntlet and a double ended spiked mace.

He spun the latter and leapt at Alex and Leo, who ducked his swings until he hit them both with his gauntlet and mace before they could react, knocking them onto their back and shell, as well as knocking their katanas out of their hands, skidding and falling over the edge.

Everyone watched in horror.

"GUYS!" Mikey and Donnie screamed.

"Get up!" Alopex cried out, her hands up to her mouth as Tiger Claw put his arm around her.

"That's it, I'm putting a stop to this!" Raph growled, charging up to Gyoji. "Starting with you, weirdo!"

Before he could even lay a finger on him, a tube formed around him, trapping him.

"You must not interfere. Honour dictates certain rules." Gyoji sternly told him.

"When I get out of this, I'm gonna -" Raph snarled, banging against the tube.

"Raphael, enough!" Splinter cut him off sternly, banging his walking stick on the ground.

He then closed his eyes sadly as Gyoji spun his paddle, tapping it, and making the tube around Raph vanish.

"It is hard to watch, I know, but we must." Splinter insisted as he placed a hand on Raph's plastron before everyone gathered around them.

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Mona asked desperately.

"Yeah, sitting here on the sidelines, watching, is unbearable!" Alopex said, now getting anxious.

"There actually is." Rebecca replied as she approached Gyoji. "As we're family members, we claim the right of attendance."

For a moment, Gyoji looked at her until he said "So granted."

He spun the paddle, which lit up and the viewing mirror turned into a puddle on the ground that moved under the barrier, sucking it down.

"Whoa! This is too strange!" Casey said to April before they held their breaths, Casey pinching his nostrils shut.

Back on the bridge tower, Ue-Sama walked up to Alex and Leo as they opened their eyes.

They gasped as he jumped and sent a slash at them with two clawed gauntlets now.

But they grabbed his forearms and ripped his gauntlets off as they kicked him away.

Ue-Sama moaned in pain as he landed and skidded towards the edge of the bridge tower.

Alex and Leo then got up on their feet and stared down at Ue-Sama as he rolled onto his chest.

At the other side of the tower, the barrier appeared as it lifted out of the tower itself.

Donnie scratched his head in confusion over what just happened while everyone was grinning as they watched Alex and Leo approach Ue-Sama.

"Whoa, this isn't how we left things." MIkey remarked.

"Change is good." April noted.

"Yo, you go, you two!" Casey cheered Alex and Leo on.

Alex and Leo now stood over Ue-Sam, glaring at him.

He deviously pulled out some green dust from his cape and threw it at the pair, blinding them and making them cough as they walked out of the dust cloud.

They turned to see Ue-Sama leap out of the dust cloud, who proceeded to kick them non-stop towards the edge, giving them no chance to fight back.

Then he delivered palm strikes that knocked them over the edge, screaming as they fell.

"LEO/ALEX!" Their brothers, Mona, Alopex and Tiger Claw screamed in horror.

"MY SONS!" Splinter screamed as well.

"ALEX!" Rebecca screamed.

Ue-Sama laughed maniacally, thinking he won, as Alex and Leo fell.

But they were able to grab hold of a cable on the support cable for the bridge.

Seeing this made Ue-Sama stop laughing and he ran down the support cable, yelling as he pulled out his katanas and sliced the cable, and some more, making the pair plummet and scream as they held onto the cables that were still connected to the support cable.

They were breathing heavily as they looked up at Ue-Sama, who crossed his katanas in front of his face before slicing the cables.

Alex and Leo screamed at the very top of their lungs as they plummeted towards the river below.

"We've gotta help them!" Donnie told his brothers, Alopex, Tiger Claw and Mona as they all pulled out their weapons.

All of them proceeded to slash and whack their weapons at the barrier, trying to get out of it and help Alex and Leo, but no matter how hard or relentless they were, the barrier didn't falter.

Alex and Leo continued screaming as they fell to their doom.

But they stopped as they ended up putting on the gauntlets they tore off of Ue-Sama and dug them into the tower, which slowed them down until they stopped metres away from the river below them.

"Phew." They both sighed in relief.

"We just might need to get our own pairs of these." Alex told Leo.

"Yeah." Leo nodded in agreement as they started climbing their way back up.

Ue-Sama jumped from the support cable and landed on the tower in front of the barrier, where everyone glared at him with the deepest loathing possible, especially Alopex, Tiger Claw and Rebecca.

"They are finished! I have won!" He bragged "I am the ultimate warrior on this planet! With this victory, my fame and glory grows! Soon, all will know my name! I am the ultimate ninja!"

"Just wait, pal, and I'll give you all the fame and glory you can handle!" Raph snarled, baring his sais.

"Hang on, there, Raph!" A familiar voice told him.

This made everyone gasp and look to see Alex and Leo standing by the edge of the tower.

"We're not done with this pathetic excuse of a ninja." Alex then said, narrowing his eyes at Ue-Sama, who turned and looked at the pair with shock and disbelief.

"What? It - it can't be!" He said, not wanting to believe what he was seeing.

"Oh, it can be. And it is." Leo sneered.

"Now it's time to put you in your place." Alex sneered, pointing the gauntlet he wore at Ue-Sama.

Their family all cheered for them.

Leo raised his gauntlet by his face while Alex held his by the side while Ue-Sama pulled out one of his katanas, all glaring at each other.

Then they yelled as they jumped at each other.

Ue-Sama threw shurikens out of his cape before vanishing, which Alex and Leo dodged and blocked with their gauntlets.

The ones they blocked ended up flying at their family, being embedded in the barrier, where Ue-Sama appeared.

He turned and gasped when Alex and Leo yelled, jumping at him and kicking him right in the face, ripping his mask off and even breaking his nose, thanks to Alex's boots.

As he fell onto his back, moaning in pain, Alex and Leo flipped and landed on the tower, ripping their gauntlets off before pouncing at Ue-Sama as he got up, roaring like wild animals.

Ue-Sama gasped before he received punch after punch from the pair, hitting him in the chest, stomach, face and crotch.

"COME ON!" Leo roared before he punched him again in the face.

Ue-Sama jumped back and landed before pulling out both katanas as Alex and Leo charged at him.

He tried slicing at them, but they jumped over him and landed behind and kicked him away, knocking his katanas out of his hands.

They each grabbed one and jumped at Ue-Sama, digging the katanas on either side of his neck, crossing over as they did, trapping him and making him gasp.

"You lose." Leo snarled while Alex glared down at Ue-Sama.

"No! I cannot lose! I cannot!" He panicked.

"Sorry, you just did." Leo corrected him, pointing a finger at him. "But you fought well."

He and Alex bowed.

"For a cheater, that is." Alex muttered.

"I - I do not believe it." Ue-Sama gasped, finally accepting the fact that he lost. "I - I surrender."

Alex and Leo picked up the katanas and threw them away, landing right next to the barrier.

"Winners, Leonardo and Alexander." Gyoji declared as he spun the paddle, making the barrier vanish.

Everyone cheered as they ran up to Alex and Leo.

Upon surrounding them, Raph and Mikey placed hands on Leo's arms as April stroked his head. Alex had Tiger Claw wrap an arm around him as he patted his chest and Alopex ended up kissing him on the cheek, which left Alex so wide eyed, they looked like they were about to pop out.

Splinter and Rebecca then approached the pair.

"Look at you two. Our boys." Rebecca grinned.

"We are so proud." Splinter grinned as well before he and Rebecca hugged them together.

Everyone joined in and formed a group hug as they laughed.

With none of them paying attention to him, Ue-Sama, being a truly sore loser, pulled out some green dust from his cape and blew it away.

Everyone watched as the dust ended up turning into a large green dragon, making them gasp.

It was about to attack them when a bolt of lightning appeared, alongside a yell, and the dragon was sliced down the middle.

Once the dust cleared, there stood a figure with long white hair that towered over everyone, wielding a katana. This figure was known as the Daimyo, who wore a gold horned mask with green jewels on the eyes, a red cape and red, black and gold armour.

Everyone stepped back, surprised by his appearance as he stood right in front of Ue-Sama.

"Your Highness." Gyoji greeted him, bowing his head.

Ue-Sama then bowed on his knees.

"To use such dark arts in defeat, not only would you disgrace yourself, but you would disgrace me, your own father, with your lack of honour!" The Daimyo scolded Ue-Sama furiously, making him bow his head lower in shame, as he put away his katana. "You have not earned this combat, yet you have the audacity to attempt to make a name for yourself in such a manner!"

He then turned to everyone, mainly Splinter and Rebecca.

"Splinter-san, Rebecca-san, you two have trained your students and sons well." The Daimyo told them. "I salute you."

He then bowed to them, who bowed back, leaving everyone else confused as to how they knew the Daimyo, who then turned to Alex and Leo.

"You have fought well, young ones, and won honourably." He congratulated them, making them grin, especially about how they won honourably.

The Daimyo then formed a green light with his right hand, where Alex and Leo's katanas appeared.

"I return to you your katana." He told them as their katanas flew towards them slowly before they landed in their hands.

They then bowed to the Daimyo, who bowed to them as well.

"Once, many generations ago, we visited this dimension." The Daimyo revealed. "The people here took us to be goblins, tengu, but we endowed a chosen few with the first gifts of the art of ninjutsu. You have carried that tradition well. Better even than my son."

"Come!" He barked at Gyoji, gesturing for him to come to him. "We go home."

A bright light formed out of Gyoji's paddle, blinding everyone, and he, the Daimyo and Ue-Sama sunk into a puddle, which disappeared as they did.

Alex and Leo then put their katanas away.

"My sons, you have made us all proud." Splinter praised them as he placed a hand on Leo's shoulder. "Come, let us also go home."

Everyone then walked single file down the support cable of the bridge.

"Master Splinter, Rebecca, I - I don't mean any disrespect, but what the shell was all that about?" Raph questioned, expressing everyone's confusion.

"Be patient. When the time is right, all will be made clear." Splinter replied.

"Why do I have the feeling that this isn't the last we've seen of whoever they were?" Alex then asked.

"Because it won't be." Rebecca cryptically answered.

Looks like answers will come whenever they come.

This episode had such good worldbuilding with what the Daimyo said about how he and his people were the origins of ninjutsu.

And things are getting a bit interesting with both Alex and Alopex.
