What a Croc

Alex gritted his teeth at the scene before him.

His turtle brothers, Alopex, Tiger Claw and Mona Lisa all charged at a robotic turtle.

"For some reason, we all end up in bonkers situations. Could it be karma?"

The first to attack was Donnie, who leapt and swung his bo staff down at the robot, which blocked his attack with its own bo staff, which disappeared before it grabbed Donnie's staff and kicked him in the chest, knocking him right into a wall.

Then Alopex attacked, her kamas blocked by the robot forming its own pair of kamas before flipping over her and threw her over its shoulder by grabbing her tail, making her slam into the ground.

"Maybe it's because of something truly bad in a past life?"

Tiger Claw roared as he charged at the robot and sliced his machete at it, being blocked by its own machete, deflecting his attack and then kicked him right in the head, launching him away towards Mona, who jumped over him and swung her tonfas, which were blocked by the robot's own pair of tonfas, which then disappeared and it grabbed hers and used them to throw her right into a wooden crate.

"Could it be fate trying to mess with us?"

Leo then tried slicing the robot with his katanas, but was blocked by the robot's pair of katanas before it jumped over Leo and threw him away, making him crash onto the floor on his plastron.

Then Mikey tried whacking the robot with his nunchucks, only for them to be whacked out of his hands by the robot's pair of nunchucks, which it then used to whack Mikey in the arms and face before being kicked away.

"Knowing Mikey, he'd say it was all Raph's fault."

Raph leapt at the robot, which leapt at him, the two colliding in mid-air, before crashing on the floor, where the robot kicked Raph away, flipping onto its feet and threw Raph's sais via its own at Raph's hands, keeping them in place on the wall and keeping him trapped as he tried to pull himself out.

The robot then turned to Alex, daring him to attack. Further back behind it was an Utrom exo-suit.

Alex snarled as he pulled out his katana, glancing over at a large mutant crocodile and a female mutant turtle standing by his side.

"Regardless, I just accept life for what it is and move on, focusing on kicking some serious shell."

Alex then roared as he leapt at the robot, which now wielded a katana of its own.

In the lair, Alex was currently in his bedroom.

It was spacious, a king sized bed by the corner with a bedside table next to it with a lamp. On the wall next to the bed were some posters of Gladiator and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. On the wall opposite was a shelf full of Alex's collection of novels, comic books and DVDs. And there was his closet, which is where he also houses his White Dragon costume.

He was currently sitting at his desk, nearly done with his latest drawing, which was an oriental dragon. Ever since he took up drawing as a hobby in honour of Kirby, he's gotten quite good and now has two full sketchbooks full of drawings, all inspired by his interests.

Once he was finished, he let out a sigh and leaned back on his chair.

Then a pretty loud snore could be heard a few rooms away.

That snoring was all courtesy of Raph, as he, Mona and Mikey were currently sleeping. Mona, who shared rooms with him, didn't mind his snoring, and even Mikey sleeps peacefully. This was thanks to Rebecca, who brought Mikey a pair of noise cancelling earmuffs.

But among the snoring, Alex could hear humming.

Being curious, he got up, yawned and stretched, and walked out of his room and saw light coming from Mikey's room, where the humming was coming from.

In the room, April had been busy packing up her stuff, most of which were currently in boxes.

After the Nano incident, which was a week and a half ago, her own place was now being rebuilt thanks to the prize money she got for returning the stolen jewels.

She was humming as she was wrapping a purple umbrella in some paper.

"I see you can't sleep." Alex said as he leaned against the hexagonal doorway.

"I'm too excited to sleep. I can't wait to have my own place again." April replied with an infectious grin on her face.

"Well, that'll be good news for Mikey. I know he's struggling to sleep with our resident motor engine and the most fidgety sleeper I can imagine." Alex chuckled, recalling how Mona does nothing by fidget when she's asleep, knocking into Mikey.

"Well, he'll be glad to know that I'll soon be out of here and he'll be back in here before he knows it." April said as she too chuckled while packing a vase in a box. "By the way, have you noticed how Alopex and Ti have been distant lately."

"Yeah. I don't know why, though." Alex frowned, as the pair have been like that for a few days now. "I'll see if I can talk to them about it."

"Good luck." April said as he walked away.

He went around the top level and into the shared bedroom of Alopex and Tiger Claw, who both sat in silence in the middle of the room.

"Guys, everyone's been worried about how distant you two have been. Can you tell me what's the matter?" Alex asked them as he entered.

"Sorry, Alex, it's just that something has been nagging at us for a while and we just can't handle it well." Alopex sighed sadly.

"What's been nagging at you?" Alex frowned with concern, folding his arms.

"We weren't the only mutants raised among the Utroms" Tiger Claw revealed, surprising Alex. "There were two others. We haven't seen them since the Utroms left Earth and TCRI imploded. We're just worried something happened to them."

"They're family to you, aren't they?" Alex asked.

"Naturally." Alopex said, her head hanging as her tail curled by her leg.

Alex crouched down and placed a comforting hand on her thigh.

"I don't know if this is comforting, but the fact that you haven't seen them since then might show they're just in hiding. You'll find them eventually, I'm sure of it." He said, looking at both her and Tiger Claw.

They looked at each other and had a silent conversation, realising that Alex may be right, considering what they knew of the two mutants they're missing so much.

"We hope you're right." Tiger Claw said solemnly. Alex patted Alopex's thigh before he left them.

Upon exiting their bedroom, he spotted that the TVs were on.

He went and saw that his mother, Leo and Splinter were watching the latest news update on this gang war that has been going on for a while now.

"And for now, the police have two suspects in custody." A female reporter said as Alex stood next to the three of them, folding his arms. "Meanwhile, in other news, an unexplained wave of gang activity is sweeping through the boroughs of New York. How long before they knock on your door? We'll have the full story when Channel 9 News returns."

Alex then heard some clattering and turned to see Donnie working by the pool.

He walked over to see that Donnie was using a blowtorch on what looked like a metal crane set up right on the pool's edge.

"I see you're still trying to make use of the underwater tunnels." He said to Donnie, who turned off his blowtorch and turned to face Alex as he took his goggles off.

"Yeah. This is to help provide support and stability to make sure they don't cave in." Donnie explained. "Do you want to help out?"

"Well, since I haven't got anything planned, might as well." Alex shrugged, as he didn't mind helping his brainiac brother out.

After a while, Alex finished changing into a wetsuit and put on a diver's helmet connected to two tubes.

"This cross brace will secure the access way and ensure its stability." Donnie said, handing Alex a beam and the blowtorch.

"Got it." Alex said as he closed the diver's helmet up.

He then sat on the edge of the pool and gently got in and dunked fully into the water, actually being considerate enough to not dive and create a splash, like what Donnie did to April the morning of the Nano incident.

He swam down to the access way, which was flooded sewer tunnels.

By the time he reached the intersection, he stood right on the ground and stepped towards the support structure Donnie put in place.

There, he placed the cross brace against the structure and started welding it in place.

But then something large swam past the tunnel fast; it was a blur, creating an echo that Alex heard, making him turn to where he heard it.

He frowned as goosebumps started crawling up his back, which told him that there was something down here with him.

With this, Alex turned on the helmet's flashlight, which shined on a large crocodile, which stared him down.

"Oh, crud." Alex shuddered in horror.

The crocodile growled as it turned and swam right for Alex, who instantly shut the flashlight off and hid behind the support structure, which was also engulfed in shadow.

The crocodile swam right past and stopped directly under the access way to the lair. It looked around for a moment before swimming up the tunnel.

Alex managed to calm himself down and recalled what Splinter taught him: fade into the surroundings.

The crocodile then came back and growled, looking around until it spotted Alex's breathing tube, seeing that it went within the support structure, and so it snapped it apart with it jaws, making water seep into Alex's helmet, though he managed to keep calm and take a deep breath, now super grateful that he learned to hold his breath for six minutes, knowing the crocodile will still be searching for him.

The crocodile then moved right in front of the structure as Alex backed up against the wall, giving him a good look at it. Thankfully, because he was in the shadows, the crocodile couldn't see him.

What struck Alex was that the crocodile wore wrappings on its wrists and ankles, as well as a purple belt. And with the fact that this was too large to be a normal crocodile, its body also looked more humanoid, and its eyes displayed the kind of intelligence that isn't normal for a crocodile as its irises became slits. Not to mention it was smart enough to know that the breathing tube was for oxygen, like it was trying to lure Alex out.

This made him realise something: this was a mutant. Perhaps one of the two mutants that Alopex and Tiger Claw talked about.

Up in the lair, Donnie was working on his laptop until he spotted the breathing tube moving around and bubbles appeared around it.

"What the shell?" He muttered in confusion until he realised what may be happening. "Oh, no! Alex is drowning!" He then ran to the controls for the crane and flicked a switch.

"Hang on, Alex!" He cried out as the crane started to pull him up.

The crocodile seemed to be calming down, as its irises were fuller, and seemed to believe that Alex wasn't there among the structure.

But then bubbles formed out of Alex's helmet, which the crocodile saw, making its irises become slits once more and reached to grab Alex, who was just pulled away with the tube connected to the crane.

Alex banged against the support structure as he was pulled back up the access way while the crocodile ripped some of it apart as it looked up at Alex until he was out of the water, swimming away.

Alex ripped off the helmet as he hung over the pool, spitting some water out of his mouth.

"Go get the others! You need to know what just happened!" Alex informed Donnie.

Later, everyone that isn't Rebecca and Splinter gathered by a wall as they listened to what Alex experienced, Leo and Mona sitting on the wall while everyone else leaned against it.

"But this crocodile wasn't your standard crocodile." Alex said, having finished explaining. "It was just too big, it wore wrappings and its body was humanoid." He turned to Alopex and Tiger Claw. "I think it may be one of those mutants you told me about."

"More mutants?" Mikey gasped as everyone turned to Alopex and Tiger Claw, who looked at each other in shock.

"It must be Leatherhead. And if he's out there, then so's Venus." Alopex said with hope.

"But we need to be sure." Tiger Claw replied, being realistic.

"Well, I'll go back down there and give you confirmation if you need it." Alex swore to the pair, turning to the pool.

"If you're serious about this, take this porpoise device." Donnie replied, pulling a cover away to reveal an advanced diving mask and oxygen tank. "I made it to explore some of the underwater passageways." Alex walked up to them to take a closer look. "It's got a built in camera and a transmitter.. And I put in a two way radio in the mask."

Alex grinned like a kid on Christmas as Donnie walked over to his laptop.

"We'll be able to see and hear this mutant crocodile, if it is indeed Leatherhead." Donnie finished as he typed on the laptop, completing the link-up with the porpoise.

"Alright, here we go." Alex said just as he finished putting on the equipment.

He charged towards the pool and dived right in.

He swam like a bullet down the access way while everyone back in the lair gathered around Donnie as he had up the live camera feed on his laptop.

Alex continued swimming until he found himself in an area with hatches that lead into various tunnels.

He activated a small flashlight on the mask as he looked down a barred hatch.

But then he heard a growl from a large hatch, making him turn the flashlight off and swim away just as the crocodile appeared.

It swam over to the hatch Alex looked through, Alex noticing that it had something in its jaws, as he hid by another hatch. It then ripped the bars off and swam in through the hatch.

Alex came out and followed after the crocodile.

Eventually, he slowly and quietly popped his head out of the water and saw the crocodile climb out of the water and walk away on two feet towards a large hole in the wall.

Alex quietly climbed out of the water and followed after it.

Back in the lair, everyone was shocked to see the crocodile on the live camera feed.

"Well, guys, is it him?" Alex asked Alopex and Tiger Claw through the radio.

"It is! He's alright!" Alopex grinned with joy, embracing Tiger Claw, who was also in joy of seeing him.

Leatherhead then walked through another hole in a wall, one that Alex recognised, as he followed in after him and came upon a familiar location.

"Wow, he's living in our old lair." He informed the others as he crept up towards a support that kept the place up, hiding behind it.

He peeked around it to see Leatherhead standing in front of a table, placed the trinket he had on it, and put on a lab coat that fit him, as well as a pair of glasses, when his irises went from slits to being circular, meaning he was now calm.

"Did you find it?" A gentle and soft female voice asked and, much to Alex's shock, a female mutant turtle approached Leatherhead, wearing a belt and knee and elbow pads, just like his turtle brothers.

"Is that Venus?" He whispered quietly.

Back in the lair, Alopex leapt onto Tiger Claw's back as she squeaked in more joy as the Turtles were all speechless upon seeing another mutant turtle.

"She's alright!" Alopex cried out with a grin.

"Yes, I have." Leatherhead replied to Venus as he picked up the trinket he found, turning to a third person that was there, yet Alex couldn't see. "You were right, my friend. Oh, so right. The remaining component was exactly where you said. Now I can complete my task for you. And then you can aid me and Venus in completing ours, as per our deal."

Alex moved in closer to see if he could get a look at whoever Leatherhead was talking to.

"We are so glad we made your acquaintance." Leatherhead then said, but Alex saw that Vanus had a look of scepticism and concern, which meant she didn't really trust whoever Leatherhead was talking to.

Leatherhead then opened up a tool box and pulled out some tools.

"I don't mind telling you I've had quite a lot of experience repairing these units. Child's play, really, once you understand the basic principles." Leatherhead explained, walking past a large device as Alex crept in closer, now hiding behind some debris.

"Huh, a crocodile version of Donnie, who'd have thunk?" Alex muttered quietly.

"It is finished, my friend." Leatherhead then said, having finished whatever he was doing. "Why don't you take it for a test drive?"

He stepped back and Alex was shocked to see an Utrom exo-suit step forward.

"Guys, they have an exo-suit. they must have an Utrom with them." Alex whispered, informing the others back in the lair.

"AN UTROM?" They all yelled in unison, which caused the radio to make a loud feedback that made Alex hiss.

Unfortunately, the feedback was heard by Leatherhead and Venus, the former turned in Alex's direction and took off his glasses as he growled, his irises now slits.

"An intruder!" He yelled, pointing at Alex, who knew that he had to run.

"Crud!" He spat before he sprinted away.

"STOP!" Leatherhead roared.

"Leatherhead, wait!" Venus cried out, but Leatherhead pounced after Alex on all fours.

Alex ran back through the hole before Leatherhead pounced through it, knocking parts of the wall away and launched Alex through the air.

"WHOA!" He yelped before he crashed into the water.

Leathehead roared as he saw bubbles heading away from him, which told him that Alex was swimming away. So he dived into the water to continue chasing him and ensure he didn't escape.

"Alright, big guy, you're in my old turf. I recall an access cover around here." Alex said before he swam right for the floor, brushing away some dirt and debris, finding said access cover and pulled it open.

As Leatherhead neared him, Alex slammed the cover right in his face, allowing him a few seconds to swim into the access way.

Leatherhead punched the floor around the hatch in anger before roaring and put his head in, realising that he was just too big to fit inside as he watched Alex swim away.

Eventually, Alex was able to surface elsewhere in the sewers.

"Do you guys read?" Alex asked through the radio.

"Alex, where the shell are you?" Raph asked frantically as Donnie was quickly typing on his laptop. "What's happening?"

"I'm fine. I'm at the 39th Street runoff." Alex said as he got up and looked around. "I just need to see if I can tell Leatherhead I'm not a threat."

Just then, Leatherhead leapt out of the water and tackled Alex back in.

"ALEX!" Raph cried out as everyone gasped.

"ALEX!" Alopex cried out as well.

Leatherhead then lifted himself out of the water with Alex in his left hand and bit down on his oxygen tank before throwing him right at a wall.

Alex screamed as he hit the wall so hard his diver's mask and the tank were ripped off of him as he crashed onto the floor below.

Alex groaned in slight pain as he got up on his feet and stared down Leatherhead, who growled as he slowly approached him.

"WAIT! I'M NOT A THREAT!" Alex cried out, holding his hands out. "I'M FRIENDS WITH ALOPEX AND TIGER CLAW AND REBECCA REED IS MY MOTHER!"

These words actually managed to make Leatherhead stop as he breathed heavily and calmed down, his irises now circular again.

"You're her son, Alexander?" He asked him.

"Yes." Alex nodded frantically. "And she's living with me and my family, same for Alopex and Tiger Claw."

"They are? Oh, Venus will be so happy to see them." Leatherhead said with a smile, letting out a sigh of relief.

"I can't help but notice you have quite the temper. Can give me and Raph a run for our money." Alex said as he took deep breaths and leaned against the wall behind him.

"I am sorry. Sometimes I get carried away." Leatherhead apologised.

"It's alright." Alex waved it off, moving past that. "Let me guess, you and Venus were normal animals before the ooze from the Utroms' transmat device mutated you both and you've lived with them ever since?"

"Yes. So you really do know of the Utroms?" Leatherhead asked eagerly.

"If it weren't for them, my turtle brothers and our sensei, a rat, wouldn't be here right now. And I wouldn't have been born." Alex replied.

The two turned upon hearing a vehicle approaching. They looked to see the Sewer Slider approaching with everyone on it. Once it parked, everyone looked to see Alex and Leatherhead.

"Don't worry, we've come to an understanding." Alex reassured them and instantly, Alopex and Tiger Claw got off the Sewer Slider and ran to Leatherhead.

"LH!" Alopex cheered before launching herself onto Leatherhead's chest, embracing him.

"You have no idea how happy we are to see that you're alright!" Tiger Claw grinned as he too embraced Leatherhead, who embraced the pair back.

"I believe I do, my brother." Leatherhead grinned as he started shedding tears of joy.

The Turtles and Mona then approached them as they broke apart.

"Greetings. You must be Alexander's brothers." Leatherhead greeted the Turtles while Alex got off the wall and approached everyone.

"Yes. I'm Leonardo." Leo introduced himself.

"Raphael."

"Donatello."

"I'm Mikey."

"And you are?" Leatherhead asked Mona.

"I am Y'Gythgba, though I prefer Mona Lisa." Mona introduced herself with a bow.

"Come. It is so draughty in these sewers. "Let us return to my temporary laboratory where we can speak in relative comfort and can reunite with Venus." Leatherhead said as he led everyone through the sewers.

After a while, they all made it back to the old lair, where Alex and the Turtles all recollected many memories of this place.

"Ah, there's no place like home." Raph sighed.

"My sentiments exactly." Leatherhead agreed with him.

"Leatherhead, I see you made it back. So, who was -" Venus said, walking up to them and gasped upon laying eyes on Alopex and Tiger Claw.

"Alopex? Ti? Is that you?" She said, her voice trembling with emotion as she started tearing up.

"It is, dear sister. It is us." Tiger Claw nodded with a smile before Venus ended up charging at the pair and embraced them tightly, burying her face into Alopex's shoulder.

"I was scared something happened to you." Venus said as she pulled her head back and looked at the pair. She then noticed Alex the Turtles and Mona. "And who are you six?"

"I'm Leonardo, and these are Mona Lisa, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Alexander."

"Hello, all of you. I am Venus de Milo." Venus replied before she did a double take and turned to Alex. "Wait. Alexander? As in, Alexander Reed, Rebecca's son?"

"Yes. I am her son." Alex nodded. Venus walked up to him and she held his hand, which seemed to have made Alopex frown, which Alex thought was odd.

"Your mother and I have grown close since I was mutated. She's like a mother to me." Venus explained.

Donnie then glanced over at the large device and gasped, recognising the layout.

"Whoa. You're building a transmat?" He asked Leatherhead eagerly.

"So, what Alexander said was true. You are familiar with the Utroms." Leatherhead grinned as he put his glasses on.

"Indeed. We go way back." Leo replied.

"Well, the Utroms are part of my family. It is a long story. It began when I was little more than a hatchling."

A human dumped a hatchling Leatherhead straight into the toilet, flushing it, which sent the poor crocodile into the sewers.

"I assumed that I began life as a mere exotic pet, which for some cruel human reason, was cast into the sewer."

Leatherhead fell out of a pipe and swam in the sewer water before he was grabbed by the tail by an Utrom in an exo-suit.

"Fortunately, I was discovered not by humans, but by the Utroms…"

The Utrom took Leatherhead back to TCRI, examining him before giving him a smile, which made him smile back, seeing that he would be treated with kindness.

"...who deemed me worthy of further observation."

A canister of ooze fell to the floor, smashing up with the ooze spilling out. Leatherhead then walked right onto it.

"During the course of this observation, I was accidentally exposed to a mutagen the Utroms had created."

Leatherhead started growing in size, his body being tweaked, until he resembled how he is currently.

"The mutagen not only changed my physical form, but greatly accelerated my intellectual development."

Leatherhead looked at himself as three Utroms in exo-suits approached him with curiosity.

"And when the Utroms realised that I had become sentient, they adopted me."

Leatherhead and the three Utroms then started working on the transmat device.

Then a young Alopex chuckled as she started climbing up Leatherhead's back and onto his shoulders, while a young Tiger Claw and Venus jumped up to try and grab her.

Leatherhead chuckled.

"And soon, I gained three siblings as the Utroms realised the mutagen made me into what I am. I was happy living with them. The Utroms, in particular, taught me much."

The front door of the TCRI building burst open and some soldiers stormed in.

"Life was good until the humans discovered our base and tried to destroy us."

A Guardian and a couple of Utroms stepped onto the transmat device as more Guardians, Mortu, Honeycutt, Alex, the Turtles, Splinter, Rebecca, Alopex and Tiger Claw watched.

The three on the transmat were consumed by blue light and started dematerialising, a beam of blue light shooting up out of the building.

"Most of my family barely escaped."

The soldiers started swarming the building when one of them spotted the shadows of Leatherhead and Venus walking among a smokescreen.

"And both I and Venus were left behind."

Alex, the Turtles and Mona all felt so sorry for Leatherhead, to be alone with Venus, also unaware of what happened to Alopex and Tiger Claw until now.

"But once I finish building this transmat, I will be able to rejoin my family once again." Leatherhead then said.

"Leatherhead, you should know that the reason for the humans discovering the base was because the Shredder managed to infiltrate TCRI with the aid of a scientist named Baxter Stockman." Alex revealed, which caused Venus to gasp in horror before turning to Leatherhead, who stared at Alex in shock.

"I TOLD YOU HE WASN'T TO BE TRUSTED! HE LIED TO AND USED US!" She shrieked at Leatherhead, leaving everyone else shocked.

"It can't be. He said he wanted to help." Leatherhead said in shock and disbelief.

"I see you've managed to throw a monkey in the wrench, you meddlesome brat." A familiar egotistical voice said, drawing everyone's attention to a doorway, where they saw the Utrom exo-suit stand, Baxter Stockman's head in its belly.

"You pathetic little bug!" Tiger Claw snarled with disgust and contempt, pulling out his machete. "You're trying to get to the Utrom homeworld and steal their technology for yourself! And you've manipulated Leatherhead's good nature to do just that!"

"How could I not? I want my revenge on you and your meddlesome friends and use the technology for my desires!"

"Come on, LH, should you trust that cockroach, or should you trust your family, who you've grown up with?" Alopex begged Leatherhead, who was in turmoil before her words made him see reason.

"You're right. I trust my family first." He said before turning to Stockman, snarling as his irises turned to slits. "You will pay for using me and Venus!"

"I don't think so." Stockman sneered as he approached a box on a table. "Remember our little you know what? I can finally put it to work.

He grabbed the box and opened it, throwing out three objects (a sphere, a pyramid and rectangular) onto the floor before they hovered in the air. The pyramid opened up and turned into a torso and arms while the rectangular opened up into a pair of legs, both attaching together, and the sphere opened up into a head resembling the Turtles, even including a red headband.

"Leatherhead, what is that?" Alex asked.

"It's a robot we invented when Stockman fed me lies about you and your brothers being traitors." Leatherhead snarled as the head attached to the rest of the robotic body. "It was made to oppose you and defeat you in combat."

The robot turned to face everyone and bowed at them before entering a fighting stance and a beam formed out of its yellow eyes, scanning Donnie.

It then dared him to attack.

"Allow me!" Donnie said as he pulled out and spun his staff.

"Donatello, wait!" Leatherhead cried out, but Donnie leapt at the robot and swung his staff down over his head. The robot had nozzles on its wrists, which secreted a gold resin that hardened into the shape of Donnie's staff.

It blocked his initial attack and then blocked more with incredibly fast reflexes until the resin vanished and the robot grabbed Donnie's staff, punching him in the chest and then kicked him in the face, launching him right into a wall.

"DONNIE!" Alex cried out before he snarled at the robot, which turned to him and everyone else, who all had their weapons out, scanning Alopex.

She hissed before she leapt at the robot, swinging her kamas at it, but she was blocked when it formed a pair of kamas made of the gold resin. The robot then flipped over her and grabbed her tail, throwing her against a support beam.

"ALOPEX!" Both Alex and Tiger Claw cried out before the latter roared and charged at the robot, which scanned him.

He threw a slice at it, only for his attack to be blocked and deflected by its own macheted before getting kicked in the head, which sent him rolling on the ground towards Mona, who jumped over him.

She then charged at the robot as it scanned her and soon blocked her tonfas with its own pair before they disappeared and the robot grabbed hers to throw her right into a wooden crate, which splintered apart.

Then the robot scanned Leo.

"Batter up!" He yelled before charging at the robot, which formed a pair of katanas.

The two then threw slashes at each other, all being blocked until the robot jumped over a slice as its katanas vanished and it grabbed Leo;s shoulders and threw him onto the ground, where he landed on his plastron so hard he groaned.

Mikey spun his nunchucks and leapt in the air, which was when the robot scanned him and as Mikey tried whacking at it, the robot whacked Mikey's nunchucks with its own pair and then whacked Mikey in the arms and face before kicking him away.

Raph then charged in with a battle cry and leapt in the air as the robot scanned him. It formed its own pair of tonfas and leapt at him.

They collided in mid-air and locked sais as they fell to the ground. Raph was on top and the robot was at the bottom. It kicked Raph away so hard that his sais were still locked with the robot's sais.

It then flipped onto its feet and threw Raph's sais at him as he crashed against the wall, trapping his wrists with them on the wall. He snarled as he tried to free himself.

Then the robot scanned Alex, who snarled at it before he roared and leapt at the robot, which leapt at him with its own double edged katana.

They struck blows and slices at each other, Alex barely able to evade its attacks and its attempts to defeat him, considering he's facing an opponent at his own skill level.

Eventually, when Alex performed a flip and tried to slice the robot's head off, it deflected his katana and then kicked him away, making his skid to a stop next to Alopex, who helped him up and they gathered up with the others, where Mona and Leo freed Raph by pulling out his sais.

"That robot knows exactly what we're gonna do before we do it." Donnie explained.

"That's why it scanned us. Stockman built it so that it can program itself with our fighting styles. Guess we'll just have to confuse it." Alex said as he came up with an idea as he said these words.

"Alopex, hand me your kamas." He requested.

"Okay." She said confusingly as she handed them to him and he gave her his katana.

He then leapt and landed in front of the robot, which formed its copy of Alex's katana.

Alex blocked a few attacks before stabbing one kama into its right shoulder and sliced its right hand off, which now gushed out gold resin.

"Of course, Master Splinter always said we must train in every weapon form." Leo said, realising what Alex was doing.

And so everyone traded weapons.

Alopex wielded Alex's katana, Mikey wielded Tiger Claw's machete, Leo wielded Mona's tonfas, Raph wielded Leo's katanas, Donnie wielded Raph's sais, Tiger Claw wielded Donnie's staff and Mona wielded Mikey's nunchucks.

"It's time for a little practice." Leo told everyone.

Both Leo and Tiger Claw charged at the robot, the latter pole vaulting, and they kicked the robot away when it and Alex clashed weapons. Mona then leapt and whacked the robot's shoulder, causing it to bend and dent so much its arm was fixed in place and can't move.

Alopex, Mikey and Raph then charged in and slashed the robot's arms off.

And finally Donnie threw one of Raph's sais into the robot's fake shell.

The robot was now a twitching and sparking mess while Alex walked up to it and slashed its head off with both kamas, its head rolling up to Stockman's feet.

He looked up at everyone as they gave each other their weapons back and both Leatherhead and Venus joined them, all glaring at him.

"Playtime is over!" Raph snarled as he punched a fist.

"You're so right!" Stockman sneered. "I am done playing."

He then picked up some loose part of the wall and threw it at the group, landing and breaking apart in front of them, knocking them all back.

"I'll be happy to finish you off personally." Stockman grinned as he now approached the ten of them.

Both Leo and Donnie were on their knees when Stockman punched them away as he walked past them.

Then he punched both Raph and Mona in their faces.

Both Alopex and Tiger leapt at Stockman, but he spilt kicked them away before kicking Venus away with her shell facing him.

Alex stumbled to his feet and tried punching Stockman, but was so dazed he let himself open for Stockman to punch his chest and make him crash into the ground.

"I can't count how many times you meddlesome freaks robbed me of my revenge when I was working for the Shredder!" Stockman snapped as he lifted a dazed Mikey's left arm up, reading to beat him to a pulp. "But this time, nothing will stop me!"

"You sure about that?" Leatherhead roared before he grabbed Stockman by the arm and slammed him against a wall and held him there as he started squeezing the exo-suit's neck, his irises now slits. "You worked for the Utroms' most hated enemy! And you will pay for what you have done!"

But Stockman was able to shove Leatherhead's arms away, freeing himself from being pressed against the wall and the two now started grappling each other until Stockman shoved Leatherhead back.

"Very well. You pathetic freaks can all perish." Stockman sneered as he stared down everyone.

He then ran away towards a gas tank and lifted it up.

"Believe me, I am doing evolution a big favour." He sneered once more before tossing the gas tank towards Leatherhead.

But he missed and the tank hit the wall, exploding on impact and causing the ceiling to cave in.

"LEATHERHEAD, LOOK OUT!" Venus cried out.

Leatherhead looked up to see the ceiling directly over him falling before he held it up as best as possible.

"Guys, we gotta get outta here, now!" Donnie yelled as he, Mikey, Raph, Leo and Mona all ran off.

But Alex, Alopex, Tiger Claw and Venus stopped, turning to Leatherhead.

"Leatherhead, please, come with us! You still have family here on Earth!" Alopex begged as her, Tiger Claw and Venus started tearing up.

"If I don't hold the ceiling up, we'll all perish! Just go, all that matters is that my family still lives!" Leatherhead replied, willing to sacrifice himself.

"NO, WE CAN'T JUST LEAVE YOU!" Alex insisted.

"GUYS, COME ON!" Leo called out.

"Please! Leave me!" Leatherhead begged, as he was now struggling to keep the ceiling up.

"GUYS!" Leo cried out.

"MOVE IT!" Raph cried out as well.

The four of them reluctantly turned and ran away.

Everyone managed to run out of the old lair as it entirely caved in, seemingly taking Leatherhead with it.

They all turned and saw all the kicked up dust, Alopex, Tiger Claw and Venus still tearing up as the former and latter fell to their knees.

"Poor Leatherhead." Mikey said sadly.

"Family meant so much to him. I can't imagine being as alone as he felt." Alex said, thinking about his worst fear.

"I am so sorry, you three." Donnie said to Alopex, Tiger Claw and Venus, placing a hand on Venus' shoulder. "I know that things may get rough sometimes, like today, but we have each other."

The three soon stopped tearing up and both Alopex and Venus got to their feet as Donnie and Tiger Claw helped them up.

"You're right. That's what family does." Venus nodded in agreement.

"Yeah." Mikey smirked as he wrapped arms around Leo and Donnie's shoulders before they all started walking away. "But do we have to have Raph?"

"Huh?" Raph muttered before chasing after everyone. "Come here, knucklehead."

He then whacked Mikey on the back of the head.

"OW! Hey, watch it!" Mikey whined as he kept getting whacked.

This managed to cheer up Alopex, Tiger Claw and Venus, as they started giggling.

"Who knows, perhaps the big guy's thick skin can save him?" Alex said as he wrapped a comforting arm around Alopex's shoulder.

"I hope so." She said, glancing back towards the old lair for a moment.

VENUS IS IN THE HOUSE! She'll be voiced by Lucy Liu. And I should note that while she was trained to fight, she won't join in on every adventure and mission the others go on. She's more spiritual and peaceful compared to everyone else.

And as you saw, Alopex and Tiger Claw, as well as Venus, had an impact on some of the events revolving around Stockman.
