AU NOTES.
Brawler Izuku no nome, it is time for unpaid internships!
Shall we proceed with the show?
I plan on giving Izuku a few other ultimate attacks, but the current most powerful one will only come about during the [Ultimate Move development] right before the provisional exams, so look forward to that. I planned to gave Izuku [Recovery Girl]'s quirk-factor, but it would cheapen the [Hero Killer]-arc and my plans for it, so I worked around it to set the base for his most powerful ultimate move. Besides, we are approaching Eri Time. I love Eri time, since I get to play with wholesome and savage at the same time.
Besides, let's picture for only a moment how Vampire!Izuku reacts when he learns about Eri's treatment.
I only now need a mental development quirk to play and give Izuku a mind-reading ability that is related to blood, so I'm picturing something with the Wild Wild Pussycats.
There is also Melissa and my plans for her on the more recent future. I want her to play a role that compliments her outside of only one mere movie/Arc that only involves I-Island. So look to that too.
Ryujin Maou (dragon/draconic Demon Lord) out!
Chapter 18: [Sharpen your Skills; master yourself.]
The following day after the school festival was a Sunday, which would normally mean sleeping in for the majority of teens. It would be no different for the UA students, especially after the physically taxing event that was the school festival. That should be the norm, but exceptions existed. Said exception was making himself some breakfast, the smell of brewing coffee being a pleasent one for said teen. The green-haired vampire that was brewing said coffee inhaled the smell with a deep breath, content in continuing his task.
The hemomancer had awakened early, far too early for any normal person. The person whom he was sharing his bed, however, was still passed out under the warmth of the bed covers. He left the room to allow the girl some rest, especially after their last night together; Izuku blushed a bit as memories of the moaning mess that was the girl under him, panting and calling for his name. The memory caused blood to flow to his lower bits, the vampire having to focus a bit to dispell said flow before he embarassed himself. He finished fixing his breakfast and sat by the kitchen table, turning his attention to the TV at the living room. He allowed one shadow tendril to extend his shadows, the dark mass taking the controler and turned the device on, one random news channel covering the event at UA. Izuku sighed, aware that there would be little else on any other channels should he bother to search. UA's school festival had surpassed the Olympics for a reason, the coverage of said event a full course-meal for the media to blabber on and on for quite a while, until the next hot thing popped up.
Sipping from his mug, Izuku mustered the courage to glance at the TV, somewhat paying attention to the ongoing report. It showed a few videos from the various events that had happened on the festivel, the footage provided by UA as a promotion tactic. The reporter excitedly chattered about the students, the major focus of the entire thing being Todoroki Shoto. As the son of Endeavor, the teen seemed to massively appeal to the media merely by existing, his performance during the festival being the cherry atop the cake. There were a few laments and complaints at the fact that the stoic boy had been defeated, the clips of his fight against the vampire quick and short, so as to not spoil his image. Izuku raised his brows at it, taking a few more sips from his hot coffee. He noticed the way the media portrayed the fight seemed to be...strange. They weren't slandering the hemomancer's name for daring to challenge the [Half-hot, Half-cold]-quirk user, their approach somewhat passive.
To be completely honest, the vampire was ready to have his name be shouted at the four winds as if he was some sort of demon. He admitted that during his fight with Bakugou he might have been a tad more forceful than what was truly necessary, but in all honesty Izuku was sure that unless he brought that sort of firepower, little else would stand up to the challenge that was facing the explosive ash-blond. As things stood, it seemed as if he wouldn't need to worry about getting staked. A few pictures were displayed on the screen, another reporter having joined the first one and the duo began to exchange ideas back-and-forth, clips of Izuku's actions playing over on the background.
The hemomancer finished his coffee together with the last bit of the show, glancing at the clock on the wall. 04:37 A.M, still to early for the majority of the population. The vampire sighed out and slipped inside his bedroom, quickly putting on something more adequate than just green boxers, and he exited the apartment, slowly making his way to Dagobah Beach. He took in the cool air of the early morning, the empty streets giving him a pleasant and quiet mood. It took about forty minutes for the vampire to make his way to the beach, cheating a bit by using [Blink] once in a while to cut short the distance. The sight of the beach put a small smile on the lips of the hemomancer, the teen not spotting any litter as far as his eyes could see. There was a spot that was surrounded by chainlinked fences, various construction warnings telling people to stay far from the hazardous area. Luckily it was Sunday and a bit too early for anyone to be here, be it either random pedestrians or the construction crew. Izuku had the Uraraka construction crew work on two projects: a front-beach house and a training facility. The two buildings were far from each other so as to not be a disturbance to either, since the vampire had plans for both the properties.
The house was a personal project, a home far from home if you will. He loved his dear mother, but the vampire was feeling it to be time to have more personal space, a place to truly call his own. Besides, it wasn't like he would never visit her. It would still take time for the building to be done, but even with just the bare frame of the house standing, Izuku felt a connection to the place. Dagobah Beach was a place where he could train, relax and appreciate nature. He'd met Mei here, only adding to the benefits of his choice of the location as a home.
The second building - the training facility - was simpler in design, thus easier for the work crew to build in the short span that Izuku had contracted them. Much like the house, only the bare frame of the building was done. Its overall look was akin to a warehouse, the facility being made with ease-of-repairs in mind, seeing as the vampire pictured a fair deal of damage if he were to start training his more "destructive" skills. That was without taking in consideration the likely future that the vampire might acquire even more dangerous quirks-factors under his belt. Thinking a bit ahead would surely pay off, so Izuku was investing. Besides, there wasn't much that he wanted, and the money in his bank account was better spent like this. Should he ever need more he was sure that a few sleepless nights would fix any financial situation he might face. He would never be crazy to mess with the separate account that he made for family emergencies, thus mama Inko would never suffer of want if he had anything to say about it.
Izuku walked further away from the building sites, aproaching one of the many stone stairs that led to the sandy grounds of the beach. He sat over one of the steps and pulled his phone out from his pocket, scrolling down the e-mails in his inbox. Last time he checked he had received an important message, but his lust-riddled mind had put other things at priority. Not that I am really complaining, he joked in his head, opening the digital message.
The email he had received was sent by someone under the name of Melissa Shield - whom the vampire pictured to be a close relative of the famous David Shield - and the girl seemed to be fairly excited at the prospect he had proposed. She mentioned a few of her ideas, but stated that any work had to wait until he could come to I-Island for a in-depth look at [True Ancestor] and the implications of the vampiric power. The e-mail also contained a e-ticket under his name for a flight as a Invited Guest for a future event the man-made island would be having in a couple of months. The vampire wondered if he was allowed to bring someone with him, rather sure that Mei would beg to come with him. The island was a paradise for anyone interested in technology, so a visit to such a place would make his mechanic lover rather pleased.
As Izuku wrote a simple, yet polite answer, the vampire let his thoughts wander free for a while. After all the events that had happened recently, the vampire hadn't had the time to stop and just let himself be lost in his head. A bit of a downtime for him to truly cultivate the many powers that currently ran inside his bloodstream; he hummed to himself, letting the sound of the waves hitting the sand act as background music as he began to focus his senses to dive in his mind. The vampire closed his eyes and took a deep breath, the black soon being dyed into crimson red, Izuku finding himself somewhere both recognizable and unfamiliar.
Previous mind-dives merely allowed Izuku to simply see a sea of red and black, the insides of his mind. Now it seemed like things had been...changed. Gone was the deep black or the crimson blood-red that fully painted his mind, Izuku finding himself at what seemed to be a great ballroom. The walls were a intertwined combination of black and red, a more carefull glance revealed the walls to be made of bricks of said colors. It was strange, as the layout of the bricks wasn't in a neat pattern; instead, it was as if the vampire was seeing complex patterns being constantly shifted about, the walls seemingly alive as they pulsed a constat rythm that reminded Izuku of his own pulse. Decorating the walls of the room were paintings, their images depicting the various quirk-factors he had. However, what called the most attention was the constantly shifting mass at the very center of said room.
It was mostly a shapeless blob, but
the vampire saw that the strange mass was trying to fix itself into a certain shape. The curious eyes of the vampire narrowed as he got the basic idea of what the construct was. A chair.
No, a throne.
Izuku's green orbs glanced upwards - away from the mostly unfinished construct - and observed the other addition inside the room. Hanging over the throne, bound by a cage of cold steel, was another Izuku. The doppelganger had ruffled and spiky hair, his pupils slit and blood-red, the claws sharp and ready to tear into anything that posed a challenge to it. Izuku's most wild and dangerous emotions, his [Inner Beast]. Added to the security measures were darker-than-black chains that sprouted from the very iron bars of the cage, green electricity constantly flowing from the chains that were tightly secured around the creature. The cage also seemed to glow sporadically between two colors: a cherry-red and a soft blue. Where this in real life then the sight might have been worrysome, yet it was all inside the hemomancer's head.
Izuku dipped his head in acknowledgement of the beast, the creature doing the same to him. The teen then glanced at the two red lights that began slowly falling from the ceiling, a satisfied grunt exiting the cage. Izuku also let a pleased sound escape his lips, extending his right hand to capture the two wisps before he closed his hand into a fist, the knowledge of said quirk-factors slowly being revealed to him as he had finally managed to break them down. Another two paintings began to be added to the walls of the room, their slow creation emitting a smoke-like mist where they were being hung on. The first of the paintings to be done revealed itself to the vampire: it was the sight of a dense black sphere, the surroundings of said sphere slowly distorting in itself almost af if it would compress everything into a singularity, the dense mass also attracting everything around it to add to its core. It was Ochaco's [Zero Gravity] quirk-factor being manifested in a way that [True Ancestor] could make the most use out of it. Izuku tried to picture ways to use this new power, nothing of substance coming to mind yet.
The second painting was slower to finish creating itself, the power revealed to Izuku made the vampire laugh a bit. The painting was simple, two hands mixing a red clay-like substance to give it a shape. Yaoyorozu Momo's [Creation]-quirk being rather easily decoded, and granting Izuku an imense boon. Whereas before Izuku's blood would simply wither out and rapidly degenerate if not in constant contact with the source, now the vampire could "create" stable constructs out of his life liquid, as the creations would hold their form unless they were destroyed. He wondered how would the bloody constructs fare as weaponry, finding out that the ability he acquired was a double-edged sword as the constructs would take out minerals and nutrients from his blood to make up their build and last longer. He could create "permanent" equipment so long as he was willing to sacrifice the necessary materials (such as the iron and calcium content in his blood).
Satisfied with the acquisition of more abilities, Izuku gave the various paintings another glance over before giving the cage above his unfinished throne a last look. The [Inner Beast] said nothing, the vampire cutting the connection and allowing himself to see the slowly rising sun surging from the horyzon of the body of salt water. The vampire warmed his chilled body using the sun's first rays, stretching his limbs; it was time to return home.

The morning comute to school was the usual affair, Izuku making sure to keep his hood up at all times to avoid recognition from the public. Mei was at his side, oddly silent as she rested her body against his frame. There was the odd commentary about the festival, the conversations around the train focused on the bigger moments of the fights.
The vampire felt a bit ashamed as he overheard one group of adults commentating over the special moves, his "God Shattering Star"-moment something Izuku hoped to be already forgotten. Shame for him was that the internet was a thing, thus his adrenaline-fueled attack had been recorded and posted, the hemomancer finding fifteen montages of the moment with different types of background music over the span of five minutes he spent looking his social media feed before opting to put his phone on silence-mode and hope for the best.
The walk from the station to the school was also calm, Ectoplasm and Hound-Dog guarding the gates to keep any nosy reporters that might badger the students away. The duo of vampire and mechanic walked together as long as they could, Mei being the one to separate from Izuku as they reached the Support Course building first. Hatsume gave the vampire one last hug, presenting her neck to Izuku as if asking if he wanted a quick bite before they went their ways. He chuckled a bit, giving the exposed flesh a small peck with his lips, not piercing the girl's neck.
"You need to keep up with your work, I'll be fine with what I had for breakfast." He explained, although Mei still lingered into their hug for a while, her neck still invintingly exposed. When she noticed that he wasn't going for a bite the girl broke their hug with a pout, making the hemomancer raise one of his brows at her. "Maybe at lunch." He relented, closing one eye and giving the mechanic a side glance with the remaining open eye.
"I'll text you when my class empties out, you can come by." Mei beamed him a smile, rushing with enthusiasm to her class.
The vampire sighed with a tiny smile painted over his lips, making his way to his class.
Reaching the 1A door, Izuku opened it quietly before sliping in. Conversations were a constant in the class, the excitement of the festival still not gone as the young teens commented about their performances and the public's reaction to them. A few bragged about being recognized on the streets (Kirishima being the most "manly" one about it), while others were content with the knowledge their hard work had paid off. The vampire let his eyes scan the class for his usual friends, receiving their silent headnods and answering with his own. He passed by Bakugou's desk without any friction happening betweent the two, the ash-blond content with a scoff while he looked out the window.
As he took his seat, the vampire felt a few glances be sent his way. However, before any of his classmates could approach the hemomancer, Aizawa entered the room. The lanky teacher had finally rid himself of the bandages that covered most of his body, his face marred by a scar that run its length under the hero's right until it almost touched his nose. A grim reminder of the dangers that the hero profession entaled.
"Morning, class." The hero said with his usual lazy gait, checking out a few things on his phone. "I'll spend some time going over the recordings of the events of the festival. Needless to say, your performances display the skills you have acquired and thus will be what decide if a pro will or won't send an invitation to the board about the internship program." The mention of the prospect of working under the wing of pros got most of the teens in class to excitedly cheer for a moment, the gleam on the teacher's eyes making those same teens hurriedly sit down, Aizawa grumbling under his breath about his dry eyes. "Since I'll be busy with that, our heroics period will be spent going over another aspect of hero work."
His works caused a few teens to tense up, Eraserhead secretly enjoying toying with the emotions of his class. He pointed to the board behind him, a hologram lighting up and displaying a chart.
"These are the current nominated requests that have been sent so far. Take the time and really think about who you want to experience this internship with, as this will be a golden opportunity to either hone your skills or acquire new ones under the proper guidance. Don't worry if you name has no nominations, UA has a list of hero agencies that we partner up with to assure that everyone can go to an internship." As the teacher explained, the students focused on the chart. To the surprise of no one, a few names dominated the numbers:
Todoroki Shoto - 4.523 nominations
Bakugou Katsuki - 1.203 nominations
Yaoyorozu Momo - 505 nominations
Tokoyami Fumikage - 317 nominations
Tenya Iida - 257 nominations
...
And so went the list, most names having few nominations as the majority went either to those with recognizable names or those that truly stood out for the crowd. Complains echoed around at the unfairness of the numbers, Izuku being able to sympathyze with their pain as his nominations were low. I guess I should be thankful some heroes found me interesting enough to send out a nomination, the hemomancer mused, looking over at his name.
Midoriya Izuku - 7 nominations
"As you experience more and more of the hero world, you will learn how to optimize your choices and truly establish priorities. Now, as you will go out and about, you all will need a hero name to establish a proper identity of what hero you want to portray yourselves as, and as such this period will be used to go over that. Think properly about what you want to be called and what kind of image you want to display to the public. Placeholder names are fine for now, but the first one will be something that most likely will brand your image. Since I'm bad with that, I brought someone to guide you." Almost as if waiting his words as a cue, the door to class 1A opened up, a sexy figure walking to the podium of the class, the male teens already growing excited at the lesson.
"YOU YOUNG THINGS BETTER PUT YOUR HEADS TO WORK, SINCE THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY IF YOU CHOOSE A STRANGE NAME FOR YOURSELF!" Midnight loudly proclaimed, cracking her whip for added effect.
Izuku would be lying if he said that the sight of the heroine didn't affect him. He was unsure if his thoughts were true, but he pictured himself as the only one with sexual experience in the class, thus the signals the mature woman displayed hit him that much harder since he knew what to look out for. As the heroine explained a few other details about their choice of hero names, she noticed the gaze of the vampire linger over her a few times, the pro letting it slide as she finished her explanations and let the students work a bit.
Twenty minutes went by and Kayama asked if anyone had ideas they wanted to display and share, as those might help break the tension and let the other kids think about different ideas. Aoyama was the first to suggest explaining his idea, the title of [Sparkling Hero: I Cannot Stop Twinkling] drawing quite a bit of a comotion from the class all around. Midnight adjusted the name a bit, shortening it to "Can't Stop Twinkling!" - a bit easier on the tongue, but still a mouthful to say daily, if that was the plan with these names.
Mina tried to pass her "Alien Queen" by the teacher, the woman shooting the idea down for it already belonging to a hero in the States as well as being a bit too on the nose as for the reference the pink-skinned girl was trying to make. Mina was quite miffed, but accepted the call and went back to her seat.
Asui saved the mood of the class by bringing her idea next, the [Rainy Season Hero: Froppy]. The cute and friendly approach of the frog gril was easily accepted by Midnight, the following names trying to follow on her trend. Kirishima opted to make a reference to his hero model and had chosen [Hero of Manliness: Red Riot], the heroine explaining that to carry a legacy took hard work and placed many expectations on those that wished to try and do so. From there on it seemed as if the train had picked up steam and the class loosened and freely shared their ideas. Some names came out simple, yet effective
[The Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack]
[Tentacle Hero: Tentacool]
[Tapping hero: Cellophane]
Others resorted to maybe a bit too simple of a name choice.
[Martial Arts Hero: Tailman]
[Sweet Tasting Hero: Sugarman]
[Pinky]
Others, meanwhile:
"LORD EXPLOSION MURDER!" Bakugou shouted, Midnight shaking her head at the ash-blond.
"Bit of a...PR nightmare signal on your career Bakugou. Try again." The pro suggested, glancing at those that had yet to go.
[Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt]
[Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl]
[Creation Heroine: Creati]
[The Jet Black Hero: Tsukuyomi]
[Animal Whisperer Hero: Anima]
[Gravity Reversal hero: Uravity]
[Shoto]
While all that was happening, Izuku looked at the board on his table, wondering what would be an appropriate name to call himself. Ideas went about in his head, none sticking too long as most of them seemed either too vague or in the vein of Bakugou's method and being too intimidating. Soon it was his time to present something, and Izuku finally decided onto a name.
He showed his board to his classmates, a few wondering about the origins of the name as their faces displayed questioning gazes.
"I'm a vampire and that normally is something that sets fear on people's minds, not hope. Since the story of Dracula is the most well known piece of literature on vampires, I took a bit of inspiration from that. Since that is a name that normally brings fear, the inverse of it shall bring people hope that there is an undying hero ready to save the day. No matter what happens, he shall kept returning and bringing the hope a hero should." Izuku explained with a firm tone, taking in the responses from his classmates.
[The Immortal Hero: Alucard]

The day ended with the usual fanfare that was reserved for a class full of hero trainees. Thankfully for the vampire his suggestion of a hero name had been accepted by the pro heroine, the teacher explaining once more the importance of a hero's name. It wasn't just about a identity, it was about the message and idea behind said name and what it would entale to the people who heard it.
The vampire also noticed that Iida decide to follow Shoto's MO and went with just his name. Izuku knew hidden pain, the clouded and hardened gaze of the taller teen not escaping the observative eyes of the hemomancer, and he decided to act on it. Hence why, after classes Izuku had opted to follow the strangely quiet Iida until they were out of school grounds. The vampire was quite obvious about his stalking, sometimes being loud on purpouse so as to gather the attention of his classmate. News about the attack on Iida's brother - the hero Ingenium - by the Hero Killer Stain had soon become a grand topic among social media, the incident calling attention to the fact that said man had been doing a one-man crusade against heroes.
After a few minutes of the sing-a-song of Iida ignoring Izuku following him, and the vampire gradually increasing the sounds he made as he stalked, the taller teen suddenly turned around to face his friend, seeing the hemomancer ready to sink his claws onto a trashcan nearby to make even more noise.
"What do you think you are doing, Midoriya-san?" Tenya asked with his usual serious tone, the green-headed teen letting his eyes wander about the runner's frame.
"Hello there, I could be asking you the same question, Iida-san." The barb wasn't lost on the boy, who pretended to not notice it. Iida continued his walk, now power-walking as to lose the vampire without seeming too suspicious for his own good. Shame that Izuku could [Blink] to catch up. Which was exactly what he did, appearing right in front of the other teen, the emerald orbs sporting a very inquisitive tone. "I will not pretend to know what you are going through, Iida-san; I merely hope to extend a friendly arm to you, to hear you out in case you need to get something off your chest. I am not very good at giving solutions to problems, but some people told me I make for a great listener."
Iida seemed stunned at the proposition, lowering his head for a few moments. "I sincerely thank you for your efforts, Midoriya-san, but there is nothing for me to confess or ease from my chest, but should the occasion come then I'll be more than happy to share my worries with you." He replied, raising his head to see Izuku looking over him with a blank expression.
The vampire stared at the other teen for a short span of time, enough time to make sure he had creeped out the taller teen, but Iida continued stubborn in his choice of bottling up whatever was inside his mind. Seeing that unless he was willing to break the law to acquire the truth from his friend, Izuku released a sigh and took his eyes away from the frame of his classmate. Iida's shoulders relaxed a bit, seeing as he was no longer under the scrutinity of the vampire's gaze.
"If that was all that you had to ask, then I will excuse myself." Iida commented, turning around and making his way home via high-speed walking.
Izuku looked over the back of his friend, fully awarer that Iida was hurting bad at the condition of his brother. He really hoped that Recovery Girl's quirk factor would soon be decoded, as whatever he could gain from it might be a key into helping those who were hurt and needed immediate treatment. For now Izuku had to content with merely watching a friend walk away while in deep emotional pain, the hemomancer's own healing factor being a taunting reminder that Izuku and only Izuku could heal from fatal wounds.
It was one of the reasons why Izuku had been so insistent in trying to contact SHIELD Industries (investing in their stocks, buying goods and materials in bulk from them), to figure out a way to make his regeneration available to other people. Now that he was also cultivating Recovery Girl's power, Izuku could be a greater help to those around him, as soon as he had the scientist and quirk specialist have a look at his quirk makeup and run a few tests. Izuku would never run the risk of using his powers on people if he did not fully understand everything about them. He knew it was a bit of an unfounded fear, he had all the knowledge of the quirk-factors in his head, [True Ancestor] feeding him the biological answers he seeked, yet the vampire still wished for an extra assurance that he would not create some hellish spawn or inflict untold pain on someone else.
Now that he was closer to such an objetive, the vampire couldn't help but wish for a faster answer. As things stood, there wasn't too much he could do until another answer came from the Shields. Thus, the vampire opted to go home and give a look at the letter he had received from Eraserhead containing the details of the agencies that had sent solicitations for him to intern with them. The vampire wondered what kind of agencies had been impressed by his performance instead of scared. Would it be heroes who, like him, had "dark" powers or maybe an ecentric agency that catered to the public that enjoyed scary? He was a bit in a down mood since he couldn't truly help Iida, but the prospect of someone being interested in [True Ancestor] instead of scared made excitement spring from his chest.
The vampire had already sent a text to Mei, explaining why he had not been there to pick her up. She waved his concern off, busy with some project that she convinced PowerLoader to allow her some extra time to thinker. She had that she wanted to try building something special, and went so far as to hide any blueprints of the stuff away from him. Curiosity sprouted in him, but he contained it for the girl's sake. If she wanted to keep her project a surprise, then it would remain as such until she decided to come forth and present it to him.
The hemomancer reached home and immediately changed from his uniform to a sports outfit consisting of black shorts and a navy blue hoodie. After putting his uniform to wash, the vampire made his way to his room to finish the day's homework. One hour went by until he was done with the usual problems, drinking three bloodbags to sate his thirst. Being done with his school work, Izuku then picket the envelope inside his bag, the letter with his internship options staring at him like it held the answers to the future and all its problems. Staring at the white paper would not unravel the contents, so Izuku took a deep breath and cut open the letter. He wouldn't consider himself to be a lucky individual, but if the contents of the letter were to be true, the Izuku would say he had reached the jackpot. As his eyes scanned the words written, excitement grew many-fold as he took in the names of the agencies that wished to have him.
The Lurkers: Edgeshot's agency.
The Dragon's Den: Ryukyu's agency
The Defenders of Japan: Gunhead's agency.
Samurai's Pledge: Yoroi-Musha's agency.
Shadow Watch: Shadowman's agency.
Mt. Lady
Gran Torino
Many of the names on the paper made Izuku's eyes gain a wet sheen, seeing as how many pro and well known heroes wanted to have him as an intern. Although the hero trainee didn't know the last one (which was saying something as Izuku was well versed in hero matters), all the nominations were places where the vampire could hone greatly important skills. The ones that called to him the most were Edgeshot's and Yoroi-Musha's offers. Izuku felt that his stealth training had stopped advancing, considering most of his recent training at UA had been mostly focused on both indoors and outdoors combat. While the Hero-ninja's internship would help him improve once more in the sneaking aspect, Yoroi-Musha's offer presented the vampire the chance to learn more styles of combat outside of the simple skills Izuku managed to fish out of the internet. No doubt he had a lot of mistakes to fix and clean up, the hemomancer wondering how he should progress.
The others agencies also offered a myriad of skills that Izuku felt would be good to learn, but the chance to learn from heroes who were in the top 10 ranks of Japan would not come so soon this easily. He made a mental note of the names, hoping to talk with his friends to discuss the possibilies and learn their opinions.
He left the letter over his table and went for his routine of exercises. Maybe sweating a bit would help the vampire ease his emotions and think better about his choices. He left the apartment and made his way to Dagobah Beach, missing Hatsume entering his room by a couple of minutes, the curious sight-shaped pupils reading over his letter without care.
I know he likes to sneak by and do things quietly, but I think that this will be useful for sure. Mei murmured under her breath, returning her eyes to the various blueprints she had on her hands: A peek at the first page would reveal the handle of something, the drawn lines of a trigger guard just barely visible.

"You serious? You really got an offer from Edgeshot?!" Kyouka asked in a tone of astonishment, leaving her food unattended as she focused on the hemomancer.
The next day came quick, Aizawa-sensei already accepting any bookings for the students that had already decided on who they wanted to intern with. A few of the students had already placed their requests; Izuku still holding out his until he got some opinions from his friends. Lunchtime seemed to be a perfect time to get the suggestions, so he had done exactly that. At the vampire's table sat Tokoyami, Kyouka, Iida, Ochaco and Tsuyu, the teens glancing at the hemomancer with respect and a bit of awe in their eyes.
"That's amazing, Izuku-kun! Your performance must have really impressed them! You got first place after all!" Uraraka exclaimed in her usual tone, though a tiny hint of red could be seen dusting her cheeks as she spoke to Izuku. If anyone on the table noticied, then they decided to keep to themselves. "i got kind of kicked around hard, so I'm going for Gunhead's agency to learn some self-defense. Pity that you won't be coming too, Izuku-kun!" The brunette said, eating a mouthful of rice to keep her annoyance at said fact at bay.
Tsuyu put one linger to her lips, tilting her head to the side. "Congratulations, Midoriya-chan! Getting the attention of the pros in your first year is an amazing feat, ribbit!" The [Frog]-quirk user spoke her part. "I have a proposition from Selkie, so I want to check it. Play my cards right, be in my element." Asui explained, Tokoyami nodding to her words.
"Indeed. Before one can learn a diverse set of skills, they must first master their current ones, else they might get overwhelmed by their multiple choices." The bird-headed teen wisely spoke, his quirk peeking from inside the teen's blazer before it gave everyone a thumbs-up and returned inside the teen. "I also have been blessed by the dark gods with an amazing offer. Hawks has offered to take me in for the internship." As Fumikage commented, all the eyes from the table focused on him, Izuku putting up a fist for him.
"That's amazing Tokoyami! I knew you could impress!" Izuku complimented, receiving a fist bump back from the raven-headed teen. The girls also gave the teen congratulations and compliments, Fumikage blushing a bit under the focus of his classmates. He coughed to regain a bit of his pose.
Jirou scoffed at her friends, taking a sip of her bowl of miso soup. "Yeah, yeah, don't rub it in and don't let it get to your heads." It was clear to everyone the girl wasn't truly annoyed, but they went along with her joke. "Death Arms might not be an A-star, but he is still a good hero too. Besides, as Uraraka said, close quarters is a bit of a problem for me; I figured out a melee-ranged hero like him might give me a few tips to not get myself curb-stomped." Her explanation would continue, but the girl began looking over the Izuku's shoulder, who was sitting in front of her.
The vampire rose one brow, his expression being the question he didn't spoke out.
"Yeah, there is this girl coming our way. I think she is in 1B, the martial arts one." As the punk girl pointed out - Uraraka wincing a bit - Izuku tuned his senses to hear said approach, lightly turning his head left so that he could check from the corner of his eye if Itsuka was indeed approaching the table. His emerald orbs got the girl in his sight, her expression a nervous one. He waited out until she ended up at their side, her food tray raised above the table level.
"Mind if I sit here?" Kendo asked, a tiny hint of nervousness present in her voice. Izuku's eyes glanced over his friends (it still felt weird for him, being able to say such phrase), observing their reactions to the girl. Tokoyami and Kyouka looked unbothered by the girl's presence, Tsuyu was mostly passive, Uraraka had a bit of a sour face and Iida was without reaction, mostly focused on his own bowl of ramen; Izuku let his eyes drag over the figure of the tall teen for the tiniest seconds, his head turning to meet Kendo's hopeful face.
"By all means, Kendo-san." The vampire pointed out to the empty seat on the table, the girl giving him a smile before she sat down at the suggested seat. A bit of an awkward silence settled between the teens, so Izuku spoke once more. "I pressume everything has been going good, right? You received many internship offers?" He asked in (what he hoped to be) a casual tone. It seemed to work, as the girl's expression eased and she focused on him. "Everyone, this is Itsuka Kendo-san from class 1B." Izuku presented the girl to his group,
The group gave the girl their welcome, not overly friendly but not hostile either. Kendo was relieved by that, since she figure the group wouldn't be all that enthusiatic about her presence (considering the behavior of her own classmates, she wouldn't complain if she had been received with hostility). She could feel the gaze of her classmates try to burn a hole on her back, specially since the class had been rallied by Monoma to declare war on Izuku. She tilted her head a bit to peek at the 1B's table, finding eyes glued to her back and unspoken questions being directed at her. The martial artist almost withered under the gazes, but a coughing sound - that resembled a low growl - snapped her away from her mind.
"What was that?" Kendo asked the group, scratching her brow awkwardly.
Izuku took a sip from his flask, pointing at the girl. "Kyouka-san wanted to know who you were planning on interning with." The vampire pointed out, Kendo turning to meet the rocker.
"Oh, that?! I was planning on going with Uwabami! Her offer is one of the high-tier ones, Monoma being insistent that I take it." Kendo explained, Izuku raising one brow at the girl. Itsuka looked at his expression and huffed a bit in displeasure. "Unless you have a problem with my choice, Midoriya-san." It was mostly a joke, the girl not truly angry at the vampire. He seemed to realize her play, extending his hand over the table for everyone to see.
The group looked curiously at the limb, the general mood perking up when shadow matter and blood began pooling at the vampire's hand, turning into a small live-model of the pro-heroine. The crimson figure did a few poses, the contrast between the blood red and inky black making for a pretty sight, especially when the vampire began explaining himself. "I can't really recommend Uwabami-san for you in specific, Kendo-san. Uwabami is mostly a vanity-hero, meaning most of her work is media-related; plenty of product placements, commercials and those sort of things. Unless you really enjoy posing for a camera, I can't see why would her internship appeal to you." Izuku said, the group looking at him and wondering how he knew that much about said heroine. "She does patrols and the occasional rescue mission, but she is not a combat-related pro, so if you are looking to learn how to control the crowds I would recommend talking with someone else like Midnight, or even the recent debutee Mt. Lady." The hemomancer finished his piece, returning both his blood and shadows to himself and leaving the group to ponder in his words.
Uraraka raised a hand, calling the attention of the group. "A-are you saying being a hero due to money is bad?"
Izuku shook his head, taking another sip of his flask. He looked at the container almost like someone who only drinks medicine to get better, enduring the taste. "I never said that. I understand that not everyone can be AllMight, asking that would be ridiculous. What I'm saying is that for someone like Kendo-san, who especializes in CQC, interning with a media-hero won't be productive. Our times require all manner of heroes, and while we are striving to help others, being a hero it is also a profession. I can't deny that there is competition to put food on the table, even the government allows heroes to pursue side activities after all. I suppose that so long as you are doing your job properly and helping people, a few things can be tolerated." Izuku let his thoughts out, wondering when had the conversation took this turn. He eyed the people in his table, many in deep thought at the words he'd just spoken.
Kendo hummed, looking at Izuku with a newfound respect. "So...do you mind helping me choose then?" Her question made Uraraka almost whip her head towards the martial artist with an inquisitive look. The brunette barely controled the action, opting to dig into her bowl, only to find the dish empty.
The vampire shrugged his shoulders, nodding to her request. "Sure, no problem." He took his flask to have another sip, but found Kendo's teal eyes glancing at his flask. "Anything wrong, Kendo-san?" He asked.
The girl shook her head, taking her own cup and drinking the contents. "Nothing wrong. I'm just wondering what kind of medicine you're taking there." She stated, not missing the look she got from Tokoyami. Jirou too rolled her eyes and looked to the side, making Itsuka realize she had overstepped her boundaries. "N-not that you really need to explain, I was just c-curious."
Izuku looked between the girl and the flask, noticing the glances his friends ended up giving the redhead. He sighed, setting the flask on the table. "It is blood." He stated simply, watching for the fallout to come.
"B-blood?"
He nodded. "Indeed. I'm a vampire after all." Another statement from the teen, almost as if he was speaking that the sky was blue or the sun always rose from the east. Kendo eyed the flask for a while, unsure what to say.
"Soo...That training offer still up?" Kendo switched subjects, still unsure what to say after that revelation. Where did he even get the blood?
"If you are willing, then most certainly. I'm train almost everyday at Dagobah Beach."
"Great! Then, today can we meet there?" She asked in a hopeful tone, this time missing the annoyed glance from Uraraka.
"Send me a message after school and we can head there together." Izuku said, looking at his friends. "Anyone wants in?" His offer was accepted by Tokoyami and Jirou, the duo nodding their heads. Ochaco seemed to hesitate, before she shook her head to the side.
"I really want to, but I don't want to impose." She said, looking down.
The vampire waved off her concern. "Nonsense. You are welcome to join us if you want!" He said just before the school bell rang, signaling end of their lunch. He turned to Kendo and gave her a head nod. The girl smiled and nodded back, splitting from the group to join her classmates on their way to their class. Izuku and his group made their way to theirs. The vampire glanced at Iida, the teen much too silent durint the entirety of the lunch affair. Izuku sighed and kept walking.

THREE DAYS LATER
The shinkansen(bullet train) waiting for the students opened up, allowing the jittery and excited teens to cheer in joy. The 1A class was one of the most expressive, the orders from Eraserhead almost flying over their heads. Luckly for them, the hero was always willing to make them remember why he was the homeroom teacher of the heroics class. A few stern words about behavior had the teens calmed down, everyone heading to their locations with excited smiles at the promise of learning from active heroes.
The vampire was of the same mind. His destination was the Iga prefecture, near Kyoto. More especifically the city of Kage no Machi, his target being the Ninja Hero: Edgeshot's agency. It was kind of fitting for the shinobi hero's agency to be located at the so called "birth-place of the Shinobi", even if being well known like this went a bit against some of the tradicional aspects of the ninja, fame also served its purpose. For a shinobi, anything could be a tool; thus anything could be used to work under the hands of an expert shinobi for whatever means they pictured. The hemomancer held his case with his suit, waiting until his ride reached his destination. A few onlookers recognized him, since he had forgone his usual hood. A few comments and some fingers pointed his way. Since he had faced Bakugou the vampire felt some confidence sprout, his gait firm and befitting of someone who had the acknowledgement from AllMight.
Speaking of Symbol of Peace, the man had wanted to speak with Izuku, but their timeframes did not allow for the duo to talk, much to Izuku's unhappiness. The blond hero seemed to have something important to talk about, but he had messaged Izuku saying that their talk could occur after the week-long internship.
About an hour later, Izuku reached the Iga Prefecture. Reaching Edgeshot's agency howerver, took a bit more work. The vampire was sure that the the ninja hero would allow his agency to be of easy access. He should have known better. It took Izuku thirty minutes to identify the entrance to The Lurkers, specially since it was not like he expected. While the vampire knew that Edgeshot was a ninja, he was under the impression that the lobby or entrance of the agency would have some sign or anything that clearly stated where he was supposed to be.
Where it not for his perceptive eyes then the vampire would have probably missed the old-style tea house named "Blade over heart", the word puzzle simple, yet effective if one did not know what to look for or wasn't paying attention. He entered the shop, the homely japanese feel to it bringing a calm feeling to the vampire. Still, it seemed that the tests weren't done, as the interior of the place was just like a shop, clients being served their meals like any other place. The hemomancer ordered a simple order of black tea and dango, eyes scanning the interior of the shop. His order came quickly, Izuku trying to figure out the second puzzle. The door opened and two figures entered the place, Izuku recognizing both easily.
Ibara Shiozaki
Kaminari Denki.
The two had a third party behind them, the recent rising star Kamui Woods. The man was escorting the duo in, taking the two to a table by the corner of the shop and asking a menu from two menus from the waiter. After receiving the items, the pro gave them to the duo and waited. Izuku observed it from his own little corner, wondering what was with the insistence from the hero in displaying the menus to the youngsters, even after the two had already settled on their orders. The vampire's eyes scanned his own menu slowly, finding one of the items to be rather...specific.
Blood Dango ... 1.077 yen per portion
(Newly experimental dish, made by the chef to appeal to a certain demografic. Go to the counter and ask for more information.)
If the people in town weren't a bunch of vampires, then there was no way for something like this to not be almost tailor-made to call his attention. The vampire stood from his table and took his things, making his way to the counter as quietly as he could among the many costumers and waiters. He reached the counter, a young woman manning it.
"Hello dear costumer, my name is Janine Koga! How may I be of service?" The young lady had purple hair and a truly bewitching face. Her lips were painted with a lilac color, the barest hints of makeup being picket by the vampire. Along with the smell of wolfsbane that clung to her. He put the menu over the counter, pointing at the dish and then sliding quietly a 2000-yen note. As Janine took the bill, a smile still fixed on her lips, she also felt the I.D card that was hidden from sight. She gave him his change back, a locker key mixed among the coins she handed him. "Thank you for your patronage. The lockers are just at your left."
Izuku nodded, making his way to said lockers, still unnoticed by the other teens from U.A, although the vampire noticed that Kamui Woods had noticed the vampire, the hero sighing as he dipped his head in acknowledgement. The vampire was curious as to why that had happened, but continued his way to the lockers. Soon he reached the lockers, the key opening a unit that had a heart sticker right under the keyhole. Said locker was empty of any contents, except a phrase written on the metal of the locker.
[Humans normally tend to not look above a 45 degree angle upwards. That is a fatal mistake.]
As the vampire shot his head to look up his mouth was covered by a hand, his body being hoisted up by Edgeshot, the pro moving his other hand lightly and seemingly not under any strain to carry Izuku, his small bag and his hero costume case. Izuku had been grabbed by what could only be described as ninja wire.
"Hello, Midoriya Izuku. Ready to learn the shinobi arts?" The pro asked, a stoic expression firmly carved over what was visible of his face.
