Red Rain- dw your review ate. Ally gets referenced all the time on this season lol. The remaining 18 have sixteen episodes left until the season ends just so everyone knows. Queen Jen deserves your support, good work! If Quinn, Lizzo, and Thumbnail Bottom 3.0 aren't the final 3, I'm going to be sad. The designs have grown on me.

Recap
"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… the Earth Team had a nice break from the game in a shack… oh, if only they knew what they were in for. Sugar tried to stir the pot between Sammy and Millie, but the two quickly compared notes, so Sugar's plan didn't work out. Cody and MK found out that they both play in the same Forestcraft friend group due to their mutual understanding that Ally's grandpa died of lung cancer. Jen bonded with Alejandro and Nichelle, which didn't sit too well with Josee and Shawn. Noah made a deal with Shawn, hoping to get some safety from it. In a shocking turn of events, Mary framed Courtney for making a chart similar to All Stars, leading to the implosion of the majority alliance as Tammy was tired of being viewed as a pawn in alliances. Lightning won the castle challenge for his team, sending the Fire and Earth teams to the elimination ceremony. Jen was chosen to go between her and Noah as the Forgiveness Alliance continues to rule the team. Due to being framed, Courtney was also sent home 5-2. 18 are left, and only one person will go tonight! Who is that going to be? There's only one way to find out, and that's by watching this episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"

Cut to Fire Team
We see the Forgiveness Alliance all together. Nichelle is standing on a rock while talking to the team. "Alright guys, it's time for your acting lessons! We need to convince Noah next time that we lose that we aren't going to vote him out, so get your A-game acting skills on just in case he has an idol!" she says.
"We've voted how many people out? Why do we need acting lessons?" Shawn questions.
"ENOUGH." Nichelle raises her hand up. "No talking, let's get to work!"
"We will need to talk to act… unless we're doing silent acting, which I don't think would be too helpful for this scenario." Shawn counters.
"Oh. Fair point!" Nichelle concedes.
"What are we going to be acting out?" Alejandro asks.
"Good question."
…
"Will you answer it?" Josee taps her foot on the ground.
"I'm thinking of something!"
"Why would you call us here before you have an idea?" Shawn asks.
"If you keep talking while I'm trying to think, I'll say the Z word."
"I-"
"Zombies."
"JERRY." Shawn yells in response, causing Nichelle to scream. Josee groans at this.
"This is so dumb, can't we just-" Josee gets cut off.
"I got it!" Nichelle says with a smile. "We could use a scene from one of my movies, Slug Slayers: 4!"
Shawn, Alejandro, and Josee give each other unamused looks.

"Sebastion the slug, I will NOT let you cross this bridge!" Josee exclaims.
"Oh, it's too late for that." Alejandro smirks.
"Ugh, I'm still hung up that they didn't use a real bridge…" Nichelle comments under her breath.
"It isn't too late. You're toast, Sebastian!" Shawn says.
"CUT." Nichelle yells. "Shawn, your delivery is so flat. If you try giving that to Noah, he'll play that idol faster than you can say violation of code three, subsection four, with a subsequent revocation and condemnation!"
"I can't even say that!" Shawn throws his hands in the air.
"Whatever, you get the point." Nichelle rolls her eyes. "Take 2!"
"Sebastion the slug, I will NOT let you cross this bridge!" Josee exclaims.
"Oh, it's too late for that." Alejandro looks a little annoyed at having to say his line again.
"It isn't too late. You're toast-"
"CUT." Nichelle yells again.
"WHAT DID I DO WRONG NOW?!" Shawn asks.
"That was WAY too enthusiastic! Noah will see right through that, and he'll play the idol faster than you can say violation of code three-" Nichelle tries to repeat herself.
"Don't say it again." Alejandro cuts her off. "I assume Josee and I are doing well?"
"You are, don't worry." Nichelle assures. "Take 3!"
"Sebastion the slug, I will NOT let you cross this bridge!"
"Oh, it's too late for that."
"I-"
"CUT. Your voice was nasally." Nichelle condemns.
"I SAID ONE SYLLABLE!" Shawn yells in shock.
"You aren't cut out for an acting career, sorry my friend." Alejandro shakes his head.

Cut to Earth Team
We see Mary sitting by herself. She isn't alone for long though, as Raj walks up to her with a coconut. "Hey Mary, look what I found!" Raj smiles.
"Ooh, a coconut! I'd be pleased to have one." Mary replies.
"Coming right up." Raj cracks the coconut open… only to see maggots inside of it.
"Ew…" Mary grimaces.
"I'm sure it's still good." Raj shrugs. Mary takes the coconut and tosses it away.
"No, it's not." Mary shakes her head.
"Oh."
…
"Thanks for not voting me out last night." Mary gives a grateful thumbs up.
"No problem, Courtney wasn't going to take me far." Raj replies.
"Indeed." Mary says. There is a moment of silence before Mary breaks it. "You know how I mentioned the quarrel between Bowie and Noah?"
"Yeah, I don't have short term memory loss." Raj jokes. Mary is surprised by this statement, but she doesn't say anything about it.
"All I knew was stuff about you being vulnerable, but there was some bad blood between them because of it. Do you mind filling me in on what happened?" Mary casually asks.
"I guess I can… it's a long story." Raj agrees.
"Splendid, a story can easily pass the time. I dislike Noah too, so don't be afraid to speak on it." Mary states.
"I don't hate Noah, I just don't trust him." Raj says. "I don't trust him because-"

We see Mary smiling. "Raj told me EVERYTHING, and a lot of it lines up with Bowie's distrust of Noah. He obviously mentioned the stuff we talked about yesterday with Ennui and Owen's boot, but something more interesting came up. His insecurities regarding being 'worse' than Bowie and Wayne. Just like with Sky or Tammy- that's giving up a weakness to one of your competitors. He's a nice person- which is a problem, as he's way too trusting-, but if I have to exploit his insecurities like Noah did, I'll do it."

Elsewhere, we see Scott and Tammy. Both are giving each other slightly annoyed glances. "Why did you write my name down, wasn't it obvious that Courtney was going home?" Tammy inquires.
"You were hardcore targeting my #1 ally, what was I going to do?" Scott questions.
"I was hardcore targeting her for a reason, Scott." Tammy shakes her head.
"Do you really think she'd make a chart again? Get real." Scott sneers.
"Are you that whipped to her that you believe she wouldn't?" Tammy questions.
"WHIPPED? Excuse me?!" Scott asks.
"Wasn't that how your relationship was in All Stars?"
"This is different from All Stars." Scott says. "It was probably Mary who did it, not Courtney."
"Where would Mary get the paper from?"
"Where would Courtney get it from?"
Both just look at each other before Tammy sighs. "Maybe it was Mary, maybe it wasn't. Sorry for getting a bit aggressive there, I just don't want to be seen as a pawn." Tammy sighs. "When I saw that chart, I wasn't happy. And to be honest, I know you wanted to use me as an extra vote."
Scott grimaces, knowing that Tammy clocked their potential partnership. "Okay… maybe I did. In my defense, how was I supposed to know that you're not bad at the game? All I had to go off of was two episodes of Ridonculous Race." Scott defends himself.
"I… that's kind of fair." Tammy concedes. "But from my perspective, it's tiring to be talked down to."
"Mhm."
There's a moment of awkward silence.
"Do you know if you're targeting me at the next elimination?" Scott asks.
"No." Tammy shakes her head. "I'm not dead set against you like I was with Courtney."

"The last elimination went horribly, I'm just trying to see where I fit into things."

"It was a bit weird having an open conversation with Scott, but I might as well be honest. Kitty, Raj, and I have an alliance, and we can choose who goes next."

Cut to Water Team
We see Sammy and Cody wearing rain jackets in their team's tent. "These have made the rain a lot more bearable." Sammy says while giving a soft sigh of relief.
"You can say that again." Cody agrees. "I haven't dealt with rain on this show much since that camping challenge back in TDI."
"Remember when that was just a one off? Now it's for the whole game on this team." Sammy replies.
"Yeah, it's gotten a lot easier since then." Cody says before sighing. "I can't believe how little people there are from the first season left. It's me, Noah, and Courtney, and I'm sure that at least one of them got cut last night."
"There have only been a few from my season for a while. Other than Sugar and I, there's Shawn. I doubt he left last night." Sammy responds.
"Yeah." Cody nods. "I wish some of the people from my cast were still here. The Drama Brothers, Gwen, or even Heather would be decent to have around!"
"Agreed on Gwen." Sammy replies with a smile. "She was someone I bonded with in phase 1, we became good friends. Though I bet that you think of her as more than that."
Cody raises his hands up in mock defense. "I've accepted that it isn't meant to be, don't worry."
"I don't get people who try to find romance in the game anyways, ten million dollars is on the line." Sammy replies with a laugh.
"People are horny, Sammy." Cody replies calmly.
"I'm aware. Personally, I'm just not ready for a relationship in general. I need to work on my inner problems first, otherwise I wouldn't be able to fully trust someone else. The relationship would be set up for failure." Sammy says.
"That's a mature thing to realize." Cody states.
"Thanks. It's not like I don't find people attractive, I just won't do anything to act on it until I feel ready." Sammy elaborates.
"Who do you find attractive?" Cody grins.
"Oh, so we're getting gossip-y?" Sammy asks with a small chuckle. "Honestly… Brick."
"Interesting." Cody notes. "Have you two ever spoken?"
"No, we weren't on the same team." Sammy shakes her head. "He's out of the game anyways, so I don't think about him much… not that I did that much before, but still."
"Makes sense."
"Enough about me, what about you? We've all seen your past seasons, there must be SOMEONE you're interested in." Sammy smirks.
"Nope." Cody quickly shuts down.
"That was a fast response." Sammy notes.
"Yeah, because I knew the answer. Why is answering things quickly taken as lying?" Cody questions.
"...fair point, actually. But if you find someone attractive, you should tell me because I told you who I did. It's only fair." Sammy states.
Cody sighs. "I don't want to say anything because they're still in the game, and I don't want you to say anything about it."
"I wouldn't tell anyone." Sammy assures.
"Can't risk it."
"Why?"
"Uh… I don't want to get distracted so close to the end. It's the final 18 for crying out loud! I will tell you eventually though, so don't worry." Cody gives an awkward thumbs up.
"Alright, your call I suppose." Sammy gives a less awkward thumbs up in return.

"If he's going to tell me eventually, then I guess I'm fine with not knowing now." Sammy shrugs. "And like we both said, the game comes first anyways."

Lightning is seen trying to start a fire, as this is a rare time for the Water Team where it isn't pouring at their camp. After rubbing two sticks together for about five seconds, he succeeds.
"SHA-YES!" He cheers.
Millie, who is shivering from the cold, gets up off her ass and jogs up to the fire.
"Thanks Lightning! I'm so cold, I-"
Millie slips, falling into a large puddle. Unsurprisingly, a tsunami floods Pahkitew Island. Well, more like it causes a splash that extinguishes the fire. Lightning's eyes bolt in Millie's direction.
"You murdered the fire!" Lightning says in an annoyed tone.
Millie stands up. She looks down at her wet clothes and groans. "Sorry..." she mumbles.
"SORRY?" Lightning raises his voice. "Can't you do anything right!?"
Millie's eyes widen. "Excuse me?"
"You were out first in the eating contest, couldn't make it to the top of the castle, and now this? Sometimes, Lightning thinks you're bad on purpose!"
"I am not bad on purpose! In fact, I'd consider myself good at a lot of things. I've outlasted 82 people, that's worth something!" Millie defends herself.
"I'm still in too, what's your point?" Lightning narrows his eyes.
"There's more to being a good player than just brawn. It's called BRAINS, something that you lack." Millie smirks, being proud of her comeback.
"Oh HECK no! I know you did not just say that to The Lightning!" Lightning raises his fist at Millie in an intimidating manner.
"You don't scare me!" Millie claims.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah!"
"YEAH?"
"YEAH!"

"Okay, he kinda does scare me. I hate to admit it, but Lightning's right about me being a challenge liability. If I continue to do bad in them, Chris could utter the words '83rd person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate... Millie. That's 4 votes and enough, it's time for you to go.' I can't have that happen!"

We cut to Chris standing outside of a big mine entrance. He watches as the Water Team walks in and steps on their team mat. Soon enough, the Fire Team joins them. "Getting your first look at the new Fire Team… Jen voted out at the last elimination.

"That isn't good news, Jen and I were pretty tight by the end of being on Sapphire together."

Once the Water Team is settled in, both teams look to see the Earth Team. "Getting your first look at the new Earth Team… Courtney voted out at the last elimination."
Staci smiles while walking in as she notices who's missing while some of the Fire and Water members look surprised.

"Haha, I outlasted Jen's friend group AND I'm the last Cyan Team member standing!"

"Haha, deserved! MK and I conquered the Amethyst Team."

"Anyways, only 18 of you are left and it's time for a change." Chris states.
"MERGE?" Cody looks excited.
"No."
"Oh barbecue sauce!"
"Team swap?" Sugar inquires.
"Also a no."
"DIE DIE DIE-"
"Let me explain your next challenge. All of you will be given a pickaxe and will go inside the mine. There are diamonds hidden in the cave. Do the math on what your objective is." Chris says.
"Eating them?" Sugar asks.
"...you're so dumb. No, you must collect ten diamonds and put them in your bag. Once you do that, you must escape the mine and cross the finish line out here." Chris explains.
"The last team to have all members back with their diamonds is up for elimination?" Raj asks.
"Not quite. The last person back with their diamonds is actually going to be automatically eliminated!" Chris smiles.
…
"WHAT?" Millie shouts in shock.
"You're joking, right?" Noah raises an eyebrow.
"Nope! As we head in the single elimination stage of the game, it's time for you guys to really prove yourselves. You will still be in teams after this, so that makes this interesting. You could help your teammates, but it could also slow you down and increase your chances of going home." Chris states. "FYI, there might be some distractions while you mine."
"Of course there are." Scott looks annoyed.
"That's why I'm the host with the most." Chris chuckles. "Another thing to note is that if you have a hidden immunity idol, you can use it at any point and you won't have to collect any gems, just cross the finish line. Anyways, get going!"

We see people splitting up, separating and taking different paths down the mine. Everyone is clearly in a rush to not be last. We see the Forgiveness Alliance. "What do we do? We can't have any of us go home." Nichelle asks.
"We're all skilled enough to beat at least one person, let's just split up and get gems." Alejandro says as the foursome split into two duos.

We see Raj looking around. "Diamonds, where are you?"
There is a moment of silence.
"Aw, I was hoping they'd appear after that." Raj frowns. His wish does get answered a few moments later though, as he sees one in a rock. "Bingo!"
Raj walks over to said rock and manages to get the diamond out. "1 out of 10 already, I have a good feeling-"
"HEY." a voice booms. Raj quickly turns around to see Sugar. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"The challenge?" Raj questions.
"Oh, that makes sense!" Sugar looks more calm. "How have you been… you know, after calling me a nuisance and all!"
"Uhhhh…." Raj has a bit of a guilty look. "Sorry about calling you that, I was really stressed and annoyed that day."
"Water under the fridge." Sugar says.
"Really?" Raj replies. He isn't aware that Sugar used the phrase incorrectly, so he doesn't comment.
"NO." Sugar replies sternly. "But, it was competitive trash talk which I like. We can work together for this challenge!"
"Oh… yay!" Raj forcibly smiles.

"I'm not trying to be mean- I worked with Julia in a challenge after all- but doing the challenge with Sugar sounds about as fun as a root canal."

We see Tammy running in the mine. "Thank goodness I have the idol if I need to use it, because I'm not finding any diamonds…" she says to herself while looking around. She doesn't find any diamonds, but she does notice a piece of paper sticking in the cave wall. Obviously, she goes to investigate.
"If you found this, here is a map to the location of a hidden immunity idol in this mine. WARNING: It is deep in the mine and will take a lot of time to get to. If you go for this, it increases your chance of elimination, but the reward could be game saving down the road if you make it out of the automatic elimination alive. Make your choice. If you aren't going for the idol, put this paper back where you found it. If you are, take it. PS: You can't use this idol right to save yourself in this challenge."
"Woah." Tammy gasps after reading.

"I have the opportunity to hold two idols… but that might be too risky. I'm already struggling to find anything as is, going for the idol would be a big time waster."

Tammy shakes her head before running off. Moments later, Noah runs in and notices the paper. He takes a quick skim before grimacing.
Confessional: Noah
"My prayers are seemingly answered… but I'm not exactly the best at challenges. Will I have time to get the idol and ten diamonds before another person? Maybe I can beat someone like Staci, but I'm not too sure. But if I don't go for the idol and I go home the next time the Fire Team loses, I'd never forgive myself for not taking the chance when I had it. What to do…"

Noah has a conflicted look before taking a deep breath and grabbing the map. He looks at it before changing directions.

We see Cody struggling to lift up his pickaxe as he tries to free a diamond from a rock. He tries his best, but it isn't happening, unfortunately for him. "Oh no, I'm screwed!" Cody starts to panic.
"What's wrong?" a voice asks. That voice belongs to Lightning, as he walks in.
"I see a diamond here, but I'm struggling to hit the rock with enough force to do anything." Cody frowns. "I feel dizzy, the elements have been a pain."
Lightning frowns. "You'll go home if you can't get diamonds."
"I know, that's the problem!" Cody worries. "I don't want to go home now."
"The Lightning doesn't want you to go home either, let me sha-help you!" Lightning says. "Grab the pickaxe."
Cody does as instructed. Lightning helps Cody lift it up. "Swing down as hard as you can." he instructs. Cody does just that. They repeat this process until Cody is able to free the diamond. "See, now you got one!"
"Thank you so much, you're the best!" Cody smiles, though his smile drops after a second. "I'm sorry… I'm wasting your time, aren't I? How many diamonds do you have?"
"Five. This mine has nothing on the Lightning!" Lightning flexes.
"You'd likely be done if I was able to do this myself." Cody frowns.
"It's fine."
"Really? It doesn't bother you?"
"If it was anyone else, it would. Now, let's get more diamonds so we're both safe!"

"I still can't believe that I formed such a close bond with Lightning, that was not on my bingo card when this season began. It might save my game in this very physical challenge!"

We see Kitty picking up multiple diamonds at once and putting them in her bag. "Four out of ten, I'm doing good!" she cheers herself on. Her cheering is halted when suddenly, she hears loud, obnoxious coughing.
"Shut up!" MK punches Chet in the shoulder. "You don't need to be obnoxious to make our presence known."
"Whatever." Chet rolls his eyes.
"What are you two doing here?" Kitty raises an eyebrow. "Ready to start something like in the last challenge?"
"Uh, no." MK replies. "We are just trying to get diamonds, same as you. This isn't a team race anymore, so it's different."
"Alright…" Kitty glares, still clearly being unsure of them. She decides to walk away, but Chet follows her. Kitty notices this and gives him an unamused stare. "Why are you following me?"
"You are in this area for longer, and you're leaving. There must be no diamonds here then." Chet replies.

"Can they back off? I don't have a good feeling about this."

"Chet wants to sabotage Kitty, but I feel the chances of us successfully getting her out aren't very high. We'd have to make her last out of 18- only Tammy has experience in doing that."

Elsewhere, we see Mary and Staci mining in silence. Mary seems content and peaceful with the silence, but given who she's with, that doesn't last for long. "Did you know-"
"Staci." Mary cuts off right away.
"Yes?"
"We should focus, you can save the fun facts for after we complete this challenge." Mary states.
"You didn't want to know that my great great great great great great uncle Connor invented pickaxes? Before him, people would use their hands for mining. It didn't go so well, and many people died! Isn't that neat?" Staci asks.
"That's just splendid, but that's literally the opposite of what I just requested-"
"And my great great aunt Fiona invented backpacks! Before her, people would have to bring their school supplies all in a handful, so people would lose their glue sticks or get their pencils stolen all the time! So, the school system was even worse back then!" Staci continues despite Mary clearly not being interested.
"Staci, I- wait!" Mary stops mining and walks to a ledge. Ten feet down, there is an area that's a goldmine for the player. "I see some more diamonds over there, we can get them!"
"Where?"
"Come here."
Staci runs to where Mary is. However, she accidentally bumps into Mary and causes her to plummet off the ledge. She falls ten feet face first onto the ground, breaking her glasses. "Oops, sorry!" Staci apologizes.
"Ow…" Mary groans. "Did you even watch where you were going?"
"No, I was hurrying! We're in a race, silly!" Staci laughs. Mary has an annoyed look.
"At least I have some spare glasses, let me just..." Mary begins reaching into her pocket. While she does this, Staci was looking for an easy way down the ledge, but she ended up tripping and falling off of it- right onto Mary. "OW!"
Mary gasps as the wind is knocked out of her. "Oops! Thanks for breaking my fall, I tripped! Haha!" Staci laughs. Mary is gasping for breath. "Mary, stop being hurt! We have to get our diamonds that my oldest relative God put onto Earth!"

"Geeze, some people need to be quicker!"

We see Mary taking deep breaths. "I swear… the things I do and put up with deserve an award. I NEED to keep Staci safe this round, she's a vote in my pocket that tells me everything. I can't afford to have her go home. She's making it her mission to be as annoying as possible though."

We see Millie trying to lift up her pickaxe in a similar way to Cody. Another similarity is that she also can't use enough force, causing her to flop. Unlike Cody, no one is on the way to help her. "I'm so dead!" Millie pulls at her hair in frustration.

"I knew being weak in challenges could have disastrous results some day…"

We see Millie trying to swing again, but suddenly she hears a bat flying straight towards her. Millie screams as she runs, not wanting to be touched by the bat. Her hopes amount to nothing though, as it flies into her face and she falls on the ground. While she's distracted, Noah runs by her, getting close to the idol location.
Noah looks at her and takes a sigh of relief. "Maybe there is someone bad enough after all…"

Elsewhere, we see Nichelle and Shawn mining. "Do you think that Alejandro and Josee are done?" Nichelle inquires.
"I'm sure they aren't, I feel like we will hear when someone finishes." Shawn replies.
"You think that they'd have monitors in here?" Nichelle asks.
"Duh." Shawn rolls his eyes. "This island is manmade."
"Wow, I'm dumb… I honestly forgot." Nichelle says. A TV suddenly appears in the area they're mining at.
"You sure are dumb!" Chris shades once the TV turns on.
"You little-"
The TV disappears as Nichelle looks offended. "You got cut off." Shawn says. "Say that again!"
"You little-"
"CUT." Shawn yells to interrupt her as revenge for the acting lessons. Nichelle gives him a blank stare before the duo begins laughing. "Sorry, I had to!"
"It's okay, I…" Nichelle trails off once she sees someone. Shawn notices this.
"Is something behind me?"
"Yes."
Shawn turns around to see Sammy. "Hi." he waves. "Hope there are no hard feelings about the last challenge!"
"There aren't." Sammy confirms before she gets mining. She gives an annoyed glance at Nichelle before doing so, causing the actress to scoff.
"Girl, you chose to come to my area and start mining, don't look at me like that!" Nichelle glares.
"It isn't your area." Sammy rolls her eyes. "This part has a good amount of diamonds, I'm not going to waste my shot at safety because someone was here first."
"Fair enough." Nichelle relents, though that doesn't mean the tension of multiple fights has dissipated. The trio mine in awkward silence for a few moments before Nichelle speaks up again. "You know, I wasn't going to do anything to you in this phase as even though I find you whiny, I was going to let the past stay in the past and focus on my team. You chose to reignite things last challenge, so don't be surprised if it bites you later on."
"Ugh, how dare I take out a threat in a challenge where only one team can win." Sammy sarcastically replies.
"You wouldn't have activated that trap if it was Noah or something, let's be honest. And I'll respect that it was for the challenge, but that doesn't mean I won't have a reaction to it." Nichelle states. Shawn looks annoyed at this fighting, though he doesn't say anything.
"Fair enough." Sammy replies calmly, another silence falling over.

"I'm so tired of these fights… both of them are great when it's just me and them, but together they bring out the worst in each other. I feel like they both just hold back when I'm in their presence, which is concerning because they can say or do even worse things." Shawn shakes his head.

Cutting from one Forgiveness Alliance duo to the next, we see Alejandro and Josee mining. "I have eight, what about you?" Josee asks.
"Nine." Alejandro smugly replies.
"Urgh…" Josee scowls, always being upset when she's not in first place. "I'll pass you, just you wait!"
"I have my tenth." Alejandro finishes, causing Josee to facepalm.
"Whatever, totally cool with that. Anyways, can you help me get my last two? No one has finished yet, we have time." Josee requests.
"Alright, I-"
"Hey." a voice says. The duo turns around to see Scott.
"Scott, my villainous friend." Alejandro greets.
"Friend? We haven't spoken since I voted you out of All Stars." Scott replies, causing Alejandro's eye to twitch.
"Yes… I suppose we haven't. How are you doing though?"
"I have nine gems." Scott replies. Josee gets another diamond, putting her at the same amount. "I want to talk to you two."
"You do?" Josee asks. "Why?"
"I'll just let you know something… literally everyone is aware of your alliance with Nichelle and Shawn. Being picked onto the same team made it very obvious." Scott says, causing Alejandro and Josee to share worried glances.
"I supposed we should've seen that coming." Alejandro shakes his head.
"Your alliance will likely be targeted at the merge, but I'm not sure if I have any interest in joining the consensus. What if we form a group to try and help each other make it further, and I could potentially join your alliance at the merge." Scott offers.
Josee smiles. "I like the way you think."
"I like the way I think too." Scott agrees, though this just gets an eye roll from Josee.
"Well, if you want us to help each other make it further, here's a good start." Josee says as she manages to mine out two diamonds at once. She hands one to Scott. "Now we're all at ten, let's get out of here!"

"After Courtney left, I'm very unsure on where I stand with some of my teammates. I need to do something to have some form of allies on the other teams when the merge hits, I'm the last one standing from the Red and Gold Teams."

"While Shawn picking us all to be together was a good short term move to get us all to the merge, our alliance is probably the #1 target now." Alejandro sighs. "I hope this deal with Scott can amount to SOMETHING."

We cut back to Sugar and Raj. "And that's how I was robbed of that swimsuit pageant!" Sugar finishes a story. Raj yawns, causing Sugar to look angry. "Excuse me? Did you just yawn during one of my amazing stories?! I-"
"Sugar…" Raj cuts her off with a frown.
"What?!"
"Scorpion." Raj points.
"What-" Sugar screams after turning around to see a giant scorpion behind her. Raj runs to a rocky area with a ton of diamonds.
"Come here you Emily murdering freak!" Raj yells.
"Who is Emily?" Sugar questions. Her question doesn't get answered though, as the scorpion turns around and swings its tail at Raj. Raj jumps out of the way, causing it to smash into the rock.
"Sugar, do something!" Raj yells once the scorpion begins chasing him. Sugar gets her pickaxe and swings at it, causing the scorpion to collapse. Sugar does this a few more times for the kill.
"YES! I can check scorpions off my murder bucket list, only humans are left!" Sugar cheers. Raj ignores the disturbing comment to look at the rock the scorpion smashed into.
"There are some diamonds left intact, the scorpions broke the rock." Raj smiles. He and Sugar avoid the broken diamonds on the ground to get enough to finish.
"Wait, how did those break so easily?" Sugar questions.

"I had to cut on the budget to maintain my lifestyle somehow! Of course those aren't real."

"We have ten! HOOT HOOT!"
"What are you hooting about?" Sugar asks.
"That's my hockey team's cheer." Raj smiles.
"Sounds stupid, I'd prefer OINK OINK." Sugar says.
"You're stupid…" Raj mutters.
"WHAT?"
"Nothing! Let's go!"

"She's so… URGH!" Raj shouts. "I try to celebrate after my plan got us the diamonds, and she has to be insulting, that's the only way she operates…"

"We're done!" Lightning smiles as he and Cody each now have ten diamonds in their bag.
"Let's get back to Chris ASAP!" Cody says.
"Get on my back, it'll be faster." Lightning states, knowing that he can beat Cody in a race any day of the week. Cody obliges and the duo are off, leaving Cody to think.
"Who do you think is going home?" Cody asks.
"Millie." Lightning replies quickly. "Or Staci."
"You think so?"
"I just sha-answered your question that asked what Lightning thinks, of course I think so!" Lightning responds. "I feel that Millie drags our team down in team challenges, she'll crumble if she has to do a physical challenge like this alone."
"I guess. What would happen if Millie was eliminated, and we lost again?" Cody inquires.
"Sammy would be our only option." Lightning replies, causing Cody to frown.
"That's sad, she's nice." Cody says.
"I'm sure she is, but that's the way the brownie crumbles."
"It's the cookie, not the brownie."
"Sha-HUH?"
Cody facepalms. "I guess you're right though, we can't be too emotional, or we're toast."

"Sometimes the Lightning worries about Cody's killer instinct…"

We cut to the finish line where Alejandro crosses before Josee and Scott. "NOOOOOOOOOO!" Josee yells.
"And the Gold goes to me!" Alejandro says smugly.
"Indeed, it does. Alejandro, you are 1st and are safe. Josee, you're 2nd, and Scott, you're 3rd. The three of you are all safe, you can go sit on the bench as we wait to see who comes in last." Chris says. They don't have to wait for long to see who 4th-7th place are though, as Lightning, Cody, Raj, and Sugar all cross the line soon after. "4th for Lightning, 5th for Cody, 6th for Raj, and 7th for Sugar!"
"How did you outrun me?!" Sugar questions Raj and Lightning.
"It's a real mystery." Scott shades from the bench.
"Eleven are left, and one of them will be left behind!" Chris looks at the camera.

Josee looks annoyed at herself. "Silver? Really?"

We cut to Kitty, MK, and Chet. Kitty still has her eye on the Operation: TYTO duo as they mine. Chet accidentally cuts out a sharp rock and smiles.

We see Mary, who has recovered from what happened earlier, with Staci. "We're getting closer to being done, but seven people have finished." Mary frowns. "We need to pick up the pace."
"Okay! Did you know that that phrase was invented by my-"
"STACI." Mary raises her voice. "Focus!"
"Sorry, haha! No offense, but your nose looks pointier when you yell!"
"What does that even mean- aw, forget it." Mary shakes her head as she lifts her pickaxe. Staci cuts a rock in the wall. She picks it up.
"This rock is pretty." she exclaims. She then throws the rock over her head, but it hits Mary and knocks her to the ground.
"Ow!" Mary groans in pain on the floor. "What was that?"
"What was what?" Staci asks, not wanting to admit to being the accidental culprit.
"A rock hit the back of my head!"
"Maybe the mine is going to collapse soon, and rocks are falling from the ceiling." Staci fake worries. "Here, let me help you up."
Staci grabs Mary's hand to pull her up, but Staci accidentally loses her balance and falls on Mary again, crushing her. "Oops!" Staci looks regretful as she stands up. "Let's try that again."
Staci picks Mary up and holds her. "Alright, let's get you back on your feet-" Staci notices an area with more diamonds and drops Mary to the floor out of excitement. "THERE ARE MORE! Come on Mary, get up! Let's get those and be safe!"
Mary can't speak from the pain.

We see Mary taking deep breaths. "You haven't lost your cool yet, Mary… don't lose it now."

"I'm a bit clumsy today. I get clumsy every March 13th. It's a trait my cousin Andy has too!"

"YES!" Millie cheers at the top of her lungs as we cut to her. "I DID IT!"
"Did what?" a voice asks while walking in. The voice belongs to Tammy.
"I have two diamonds!" Millie smiles.
"Oh. I have nine, I just need one more to be safe." Tammy replies, casually crushing Millie's happiness.
Millie groans in frustration. "I hate this challenge."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Tammy says with empathy, though she doesn't exactly know what else to say in response. "Good luck!" is what she settles with before leaving.

"Tammy had nine diamonds before I even had two… that's sad."

"Maybe I should've gone for that idol, Millie is doing horribly."

We see Noah FINALLY arrive in the area with the idol. Noah sprints straight towards the black and white colored item. "No time to celebrate, I have to get back into this!"

"That better not have been what loses me the game, I have to be as quick as possible because seven people are already done."

We cut back to MK, Chet, and Kitty. Chet whispers to MK. "MK, I have an idea."
"What is it?" MK asks.
"You see this sharp rock?"
"No, I have legal blindness." MK replies dryly, causing Chet to look surprised.
"Really?"
"Of fucking course I see the rock, tell me what you want to do with it." MK snaps.
"Kitty seems to be almost done. If I cut her bag with the rock, she'll lose all of her diamonds if they shatter on the ground. She will be forced to start over." Chet looks proud of his idea.
"Um, they wouldn't shatter." MK says.
"Do you really think they used real diamonds?" Chet questions.
"...fair point. That's a decent idea then. I don't want Kitty around in the merge since I'm 99% sure that she's going to target me." MK grimaces while looking in her direction. Kitty, who notices MK looking at her while they're whispering, has an annoyed look on her face.
"What are you two up to?" Kitty asks with a hand on her hip.
"Nothing, back off!" Chet exclaims.
"You've literally been following me this whole challenge." Kitty replies.
"Okay, and?"
"Whatever. I'm done." Kitty smirks as she has all ten gems. "I'm just going to go."
"We need to get her!" Chet whispers to MK urgently. As he and MK walk towards Kitty, they suddenly hear a loud growling noise.
It's a bear!
Kitty and Chet scream in terror while MK is frozen in fear. Kitty runs back near Chet and MK, as the bear blocked the exit she was trying to go to. Chet also runs away with Kitty, but MK still isn't moving. Kitty notices the bear looking at MK and turns around while Chet still runs away. Kitty grabs her pickaxe right as the bear is about to swipe at MK and strikes it in the leg. The bear is afraid of the cat (haha), so it runs off.

"I have problems with MK, but I wasn't going to let her get hurt by a bear! I could tell that despite her reacting the quietest, she was clearly the most terrified of the three of us to the point she couldn't even move."

"MK, the bear is gone. Take deep breaths." Kitty kneels down next to MK. MK does just that, and after about 30 seconds, she regains her bearings.
"What the…" MK says to herself. "Why was there a bear here?!"
"Chris is psycho, that's why." Kitty replies. "Are you okay?"
"Uh… yeah, I'm fine." MK awkwardly rubs her arm. "Why did you help me though? My girlfriend sends hate waves to your social media, and we got into a fight just two days ago."
"Just because you're annoying doesn't mean you should die, that's a silly question to ask." Kitty laughs. "It was the right thing to do, and anyone would've done the same!"
"Not anyone, Chet didn't bother to help." MK rolls her eyes when she notices that he isn't around.
"Oh… right." Kitty says. There is an awkward moment of silence. "You didn't move though. Afraid of bears? Is that because of what happened after you got caught cheating?"
"I'm not afraid of bears, I was just surprised." MK denies. "But thank you anyways…"
"No problem." Kitty says. After a moment, a shocking turn of events occurs as MK hugs Kitty in an uncharacteristic move.
"I mean it, I looked totally pathetic there."
"Uh… ok." Kitty awkwardly hugs back.
RIP.
Kitty and MK both separate with shocked looks as they hear a ripping sound. Kitty gasps as all the gems in her backpack fall to the ground and shatter. Chet is standing there with a smirk on his face as we see him carrying the sharp rock, it being evident that he slashed Kitty's bag like he said he would.
"Chet!" MK looks annoyed.
"Haha, got you!" Chet laughs.
"What the hell was that for?!" Kitty shouts.
"Revenge." Chet states. "Come on MK, let's get out of here!"
"Chet, I-" MK gets cut off by Chet dragging her by the arm as the duo make their exit. Kitty looks at the floor and screams out of anger.

"Screw that guy, he is a piece of garbage! Now I have to restart, and I won't be able to easily carry all the diamonds back at once!"

"The plan worked perfectly!"

"Why would he cut her bag after she did that? I would've lost all nerve to do it." MK looks guilty.

We cut back to Shawn, Sammy, and Nichelle. This whole time, Sammy and Nichelle haven't stopped making aggressive comments towards each other, which is clearly grating on Shawn's nerves. "Got another diamond!" Nichelle cheers. "This reminds me of when I got cast for the Minecraft Movie!"
"Didn't that underperform at the box office?" Sammy questions.
"Uh, no it didn't." Nichelle lies.
"Sure…"
"Whatever, at least I didn't flash a crowd." Nichelle references the truth challenge.
"Oh, don't bring that up!" Sammy looks annoyed.
"You brought up the box office for the Minecraft movie."
"I thought you said it didn't flop…"

"Fuck." Nichelle curses at herself. "You're so lucky that Shawn is here, otherwise I'd-"
"You're the one that's lucky Shawn was here." Sammy replies. "I-"
"SHUT UP!" Shawn suddenly snaps, causing both to turn to him. "You know what? Ignore that I'm here, because I'm tired of feeling awkward every time you two are around each other since phase 2 began! You've been getting in petty fights as of late for no good reason! And if you like fighting so much, rip each other's damn heads off for all I care! I won't get involved or try to be a neutral force for your drama anymore!"
Nichelle and Sammy look shocked as Shawn gets his last diamond and storms off, throwing random rocks he finds along the way out of frustration. They turn to each other with awkward looks on their faces. They continue mining and get their last diamonds too.

"I'm fully removing myself from their drama until either one of them goes home or they resolve it normally."

Sammy rubs her arm awkwardly. "Come to think of it, we have been somewhat petty during this phase. There wasn't a real reason for me to trigger the trap last challenge other than being mad about our fight. We shouldn't have tried to make Shawn pick sides… even if that wasn't our intention, it probably came off that way to him."

"We still won't like each other I feel, but I'll respect Shawn's wishes and not get him involved anymore."

We see Chet and MK getting their last diamonds. "We're good, let's move." Chet says. He notices MK frowning at him as they run out. "What's wrong? You hate running?"
"No, I just… feel bad about Kitty." MK admits.
"Why? She's one of the people this alliance is supposed to specifically target!"
"Yeah, but she helped me with the bear!" MK replies with an annoyed glare. "Isn't it kind of shitty to cut her bag right after?"
"I…" Chet looks unsure. "Do you feel like it was?"
"Yes."
Chet has a conflicted look as the duo continue running.

We cut to the finish line. "8th for Shawn, 9th for Tammy, 10th for Sammy, 11th for Nichelle, 12th for MK, 13th for Chet! Only five remain." Chris announces.
"Make that three, haha!" Staci laughs as she drags Mary- who is in pain and barely moving- to the finish line.
"What happened to her?" Tammy asks with concern.
"I fell ten feet onto her, then I crushed her again!" Staci elaborates.
"Well… Staci is 14th, and Mary is 15th!" Chris says. "Now it's down to three, who will come in last?"
We see a split screen shot of Kitty, Noah, and Millie all mining.

We get multiple cuts of the trio mining diamonds. Millie is at 9, Noah at 8, and Kitty at 7 as they all end up in the same room. "Oh… hi." Millie greets awkwardly to the other two.
"Why do you think now is a good time for conversation?" Noah snaps, clearly feeling the pressure of this challenge.
"Sorry." Millie apologizes.
"This sucks…" Kitty frowns while looking at Millie and Noah. "I don't want any of us to go."
Kitty and Millie get another diamond at the same time. "I'm at ten! Good luck Kitty!" Millie says before running out.
"Well, fuck you too." Noah says under his breath. Kitty and Noah exchange a tense glance. "Sorry Kitty, I'm going to try my best here. I want to help Emma out too much to lose."
"I want to do the same thing." Kitty says.
"Well… I guess there's a chance we can both remain, Millie isn't the fastest runner- got them!" Noah cuts himself off to cheer at getting his last diamonds. Kitty looks nervous as she finds another diamond, but she still needs one more. After a minute, she gets exactly that.

We cut to Millie getting close to the mine entrance, but she's tired and out of breath. Noah- another person not exactly known for running- is also struggling, but he's still doing better than Millie and is catching up. We cut further back to see Kitty, who is running the quickest but had a massive time setback.
Millie has exited the cave and is making her way to the finish line as Noah is now neck and neck with her. Kitty runs out of the cave and is covering even more ground. Millie and Noah panic as they see her catching up. "Who will it be?!" Chris says as everyone is watching the tension. "Who is going home?!"

"Noah, you're 16th place! Millie, you're 17th and barely survive! Kitty, I'm sorry, but you're the last one to arrive. You're 18th place and the 83rd person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate. It's time for you to go." Chris says. Noah and Millie take sighs of relief, though they look sad for Kitty as Kitty takes a deep breath.
"Kitty, I'm so sorry." Millie frowns, though Kitty looks angry.
She screams in anger before throwing her bag to the ground and looks at Chet and MK. "Screw you two! MK distracted me so Chet could cut my bag to make me restart! Right after I saved her from a bear at that!" Kitty says loudly. People turn to the called out duo with disapproving looks. "This is unfair, that shouldn't have been allowed!"
"I never said it was against the rules." Chris shrugs without a care.
"Kitty, I wasn't trying to distract you, I-"
"Save it." Kitty cuts MK off with a glare before she takes a shaky breath. "Emma, if you're watching, I'm sorry I blew it again…"
This gets some sympathetic looks, with even Chet seeming guilty at this point as more people give glares in his direction. Kitty wipes her eyes. "Millie, Raj, Noah, I hope one of you wins this game. Chet and MK, I really hope I'm seeing both of you soon. Goodbye." Kitty says before stomping off.

"Kitty was my closest friend on the Earth Team, and now she's gone too. What is with Chet and MK, that's just really dirty!"

"I have the idol, but now that Kitty's gone, I also have another ton of pressure to win this…"

"I feel horrible for her. She was my friend, and now she's gone because of something pretty unfair. I would've gone home if that didn't happen."

MK groans. "Now everyone is going to hate us, AND I feel bad about that. This is a crummy day."

Chet looks sad in his confessional. "Why did that elimination actually make me feel bad despite her being a Yellow Team member? Seeing her be upset like that with everyone glaring at us and even MK saying it was shitty to do makes me feel…" Chet cuts himself off with a sigh.

We cut to Chris alone outside of the mine. "With that, 17 are left. What will happen next episode when we go back to regular teams? Find out on the next episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"

Kitty- Probably not a big shock once it was an automatic elimination as she fills the role of "not much story but also no way of realistically being voted out", which is usually a prime candidate to be taken out like this. She was a fan favorite, but she was clearly a support character who lost the people she was supposed to support, so she was on borrowed time. I liked her friendship with Emma, but I knew she wasn't long for the game on the Earth Team. What will Chet and MK do now that they feel somewhat guilty about this elimination?
