Izuku woke up in his ship, standing up in the rugged captain's quarters. Not bothering to change out of his clothes from the day before, he slid on the black long coat he wore, grabbing the pair of N7 Eagle and Crusader he had spent many credits to keep. Walking into the pilot cabin, he clapped Wash on the shoulder, "How's things going?"
"Ohh, you know, we're approaching a Mass Relay leading to an unknown destination, in defiance of all logic, and actually gonna use it. Just a regular day ending in Y."
"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you had doubts in me," Izuku joked.
"Despite what Aria thinks? First law of the Terminus Systems, have faith in your captain. This works out, we're gonna strike it big."
"How long till we make the jump?" Izuku asked.
"Ten minutes," Wash said, and Izuku grabbed the intercom.
"Everyone, we're jumping in ten minutes, get ready."
Ten minutes later, they were launching themselves to god only knew where, on the whim. Finally, they burst from the jump to find themselves floating in a solar system under siege. Blue Sun, Eclipse, Blood Pack ships hovered over each planet, firing shots at each other, squabbling like hyena over the chsnce to despoil. Izuku honed in on the third, blue-green planet, and said, "if I didn't know any better, I'd say we were in the Sol System. Take us in, Wash, it's time to earn our pay."

Nezu had a problem. There was a hostage situation on UA grounds, and most of the teacher's were, inconveniently, out fighting aliens in other parts of the city. That left Aizawa and Vlad King and himself to try and talk down a six man group of aliens currently holding class 1-A hostage. They had landed with jump jets and what were clearly assault rifles, rounded up 1-A on the field outside UA, where they were supposed to be doing a fitness exam, and were giving orders in a guttural language Nezu didn't understand, pointing their guns at the trio.
The fact that Nezu had never really considered contingencies for an alien invasion on UA grounds was, at the moment, rather irritating.
Suddenly, a ship came flying in, it was sharp and angular, with a bubble of glass at the front. A ramp descended, letting three people walk out. One was a human with an angular shotgun on his back and two pistols at his side, the second a towering alien with a humped back carrying an HMG like it was an carbine, and the third a purple skinned alien with tentacles in the place of hair, holding a pistol.
"What do we have here?" The human said, stepping forwards, "What do you Batarians want?"
Batarian?
The alien immediately began to talk in their guttural language. The green haired man nodded, "I see… You're holdouts from the regime."
"What are they saying?" Nezu asked.
"They're demanding you stand down so they can land a shuttle to take their new slaves," the man said.
Slaves?
Nezu's finger inched closer to button hidden among his fur. At the same time the man stretched…
Then he was across the field in a second, a blue glow around him and an orange shield of seeming hard light around his fist as he punched the first batarian's head clean off, the six eyes wide with shock. He then snapped up the pistols and fired at the two Batarians across from him.l, and they, in defiance of all logic, exploded into shards of ice. Before the other Batarians could react to the attack, Nezu pressed the button.
A turret on top of UA sprang to life, whirling to look over the field and scan with its IFF and the data from the most recent moments uploaded to its rudimentary AI. All this in less than a second, allowing it to fire a surprise shot through one Batarian's head.
The other two scattered, only for the the humped backed alien to come charging for one and impale it on the large, hooked blade on the HMG. The other suddenly lost gravity, and a purple bubble of energy slammed into them, blowing them to pieces.
The man holstered his guns and said, "Why don't we get inside before reinforcements come?"

Katsuki stared at the man leaning against the wall of UA's bunker, talking in a strange, almost melodic language to the purple skinned alien as he examined one of his guns. He pulled out a red core, examining it before slotting it back into the gun.
The Rat walked over to them, coughing, "Excuse me? We have some things to discuss."
The man switched back to Japanese, asking, "What do you need?"
"First off, who are you, and what does that badge on your lapel mean?"
"Izuku Midoriya," that alone sent Katsuki's brain screeching to a halt, "And this marks me as formerly N7, special ops for the Systems Alliance, though I left that job behind a few years ago. This is Zoe, former Asari Commando and guarding the door, is Cobb, Krogan outcast."
"May I ask why he's outcast?"
"I was raised by humans," the humped creature said, startling everyone as he spoke in perfect English, though that did leave half the class looking confused at what he said. Dumbasses.
"We met during a series of joint Spec Ops missions, three years ago now? Zoe, am I right about that?"
Purple said something, and Midoriya nodded. There was no way that was him, no freaking way.
"May I ask how you look so human? I doubt convergent biology would go that far."
"Because I am human. Born on Earth, though I spend most of my time space bound."
"And you mentioned a Alliance?"
"All colonies under the domain of Earth," Midoriya said.
"That doesn't seem possible. We're on Earth, and I've never heard of a Systems Alliance before."
"I… That's something to look into. Listen, me and my gang are going to go out and deal with anything around this building. Don't worry about us, we're experience-
"Deku?" Katsuki finally said to the coated man, who turned to look at him with wide eyes. They both said, at the same time-
"What the fuck is going on here?"
