But he did not need to know that she really did not know what the secret was and was just bluffing. She pretended that she was going to tell everyone and that she would tell the Mouri girl first. So, she knew that he would keep his mouth shut, and he had to keep the blackmailing a secret as well. Or he would never get his hat returned. He did not need to know that it had already been shipped back and would return safely to his home.
Now it was Kaito's time to shine.
She laughed and mocked Hakuba.
She used a blow-up dummy for her disguise again. She would use the excuse that the kid was pretending to be her or something like that.

Mouri was still mad and had to be calmed down by everyone else, who was doing their best for her not to cause an earthquake or destroy anything else in the hotel. Workers in the hotel were already staring at them, and they were confused, and things might not go well for any one of them. A lot of students were scared that Kaito would get them kicked out, but not this student.
She got to touch her Shin-Chan without him being completely suspicious of her, or he was already suspicious of her; she was not sure. A little sly touch here and there would do no real harm.

realising her salvia was now all over Kudo's mouth. They would all be doing their own thing and her/his DNA. Hakabastard would insist on it. And she had Shin-Chan's DNA all over her, and how was she going to explain this one?

And she was able to save him from him after he had carelessly left his DNA, and she had already seen the sneaky detective ready to get the evidence Hakuba was scheming to get. Someone had to save him, and she was that person.
